Prior to the Dallas Cowboys opening game against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced a historic contract for quarterback Dak Prescott, which will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history. The four-year deal is worth $240 million, and includes an eye-popping 231 million in guaranteed money. Prescott and the team were in a bit of a standoff this offseason, where each side alluded to discussions happening up until the season.
