Florida State is horrid

Texas vs Michigan

Must win for South Carolina and Kentucky

Tennessee vs NC State preview

NFL week 1 talk

NFL going to Brazil

On today's episode of Mack on Sports, we talk about college football week two, some big games on hand, Tennessee and NC State go head to head on a neutral site in Carolina. Michigan and Texas college game day is going to visit. How will Michigan be able to show up against their first real test of the season after a sloppy week one? Is Texas the team that we think they are? We're going to break that down? Kentucky, South Carolina. Underrated game on 330 on ABC. Kind of a swing game for both these teams. Both have to win a huge, huge, huge underappreciated game right there. And the NFL is back. That's right. Raven's Chiefs tonight, Packers, Eagles tomorrow in Brazil and then a Sunday slate. That is beautiful. It is so good to have the NFL back and it is so good to have football back. It is a good one to sit back and enjoy. Let's have a day as we rely right into this beautiful, beautiful football weekend. Let's ride. Oh, sometimes I get a good feeling. Yeah, I get a feeling that I never, never, never ever had before. No, no, no, I get a good feeling. Oh, sometimes I get a good feeling. What is going on, guys? Happy September the 5th. And the NFL is officially back today. The Ravens and the Chiefs get back on the gridiron tonight for our first NFL game of many NFL games this season, which are is a great, great start to a great football week as we have the Eagles and the Packers going out in Brazil, putting on a show on Friday night as we lead into our college football Saturday and our beautiful NFL Sunday. Does it get any better than this? It's a great time of the year, but let's open up the show with some college talking, then we'll drift our way into the NFL. But to start, we have to talk about what happened on Labor Day, Labor Day night between Florida State and Boston College. I said it. I kind of hit it on the nail. I did say I think Florida State is going to struggle to stop Boston College because they have an option type based quarterback. They can run the football really well and Florida State's defensive line is atrocious. You know, zero stacks against Georgia Tech struggled once again against Boston College. But I didn't say Boston College is going to win the game. And I didn't say Florida State was going to lose because never in my mind that that crossed my mind that was going to happen. I took Boston College plus 17 and a half and I thought it was a great bet. But I certainly did not think Boston College plus 600 Moneyline was going to hit. I mean, this is outrageous from Florida State and Mike Norbell. This is a seminal team last year that we're talking about being a team that got left out of the playoff that kind of got screwed over from not being in the playoff. And now you're looking at it as, wow, what a year. What a difference a year can make because Jordan Travis should have a statue in Tallahassee for what he did for this seminal team because they are atrocious without Jordan Travis, Mike Norbell and then Florida State Seminoles have a lot of problems, a lot. And DJ is the main source of it. You know, we critiqued him all last week about that horrible performance he showed against Georgia Tech and not being able to trust your quarterback to throw the football more than five yards down the field is a problem. It's a disaster. DJ looked awful though against Boston College. And look, do I think Bill O'Brien can do a good job at BC? Oh, most definitely. I think he can do a really, really, really good job at Boston College. But can he do it on his first game at Boston College with most of these guys not being the guys that he recruited? No, I would not have thought that. But for whatever reason, Florida State played awful once again. And look, I think Boston College is good with Bill O'Brien, but never should they be good enough to be Florida State. This seminal team's got problems and it's bad. It's bad. A 28 to 13 thumping from start to finish Boston College was the better team. Boston College was a team that from kickoff, you could just tell had a different edge about them. Castellanos, this guy can run the football. He was phenomenal. He threw the ball pretty efficiently as well. But once again, you have DJ. He threw an interception. He should have had a couple more interceptions. And it was 21 for 42. Now look, I'm not going to give DJ a ton of the benefit of the doubt. But what I will say is his tight ends and wide receivers did not make his life any easier. They drop some passes that should have been catches. They hurt DJ in Florida State. There was a lot of drive killers. There was a lot of momentum killers that Florida State had to play from behind the chains because they were dropping easy footballs. That can't happen if you're Florida State. That can't happen at all. There's no excuses for criticizing anybody or for a team. But I will give DJ the doubt. He threw some good balls and they just dropped it. But it doesn't benefit the doubt that look DJ still looks horrible regardless of that. And then not only him but Florida State, Florida State's defense is atrocious. They can't get pressure on the quarterback to save their life. You can run the football all over them if you want to. And that's exactly what Boston College did. They had their way with Florida State. They could do whatever they wanted to against Florida State. And Florida State had absolutely no answers. 263 rushing yards allowed from the Florida State Seminole Defense. Three Boston College guys ran for 70 yards or more. That cannot happen if you are Florida State. Florida State once again did not record a sack. They didn't record a sack. They struggled again. I'm not I'm not impressed with the Florida State defense of front. I'm not impressed with Florida State's defense. I'm not impressed with Florida State's wide receivers and tight ends for dropping the football. And I'm not impressed with DJ because he can't throw a football to save his life. And he is not a game time. A big game player that can go and win you a football game when you need to the most. Basically, I'm not impressed with the Florida State Seminoles. And I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt against Georgia Tech. I said, here's the good thing about the playoff. You still have a lot to play for. Florida State's done. Run the table all you want. It's a weak schedule. Who cares? Florida State's done. Florida State's done. One week into the season that we already have our first team at a playoff consumption, the number 10 preseason team in the country goes from number 10 to unranked. And it is well deserved because they are a laughing stock of college football. And they have to turn it around. But when you look at this Florida State team for the rest of the year, they go to Memphis this week. Guys, Memphis is a team that we think can potentially be the power, non-power five team that sneaks into the playoff. Okay, you still have to play Clemson. You still gotta go on the road against Miami. You still gotta go on the road to Notre Dame. You know, I mean, there are some games where Florida State's gonna get ran off the field right now in some of those matchups. So down there in Tallahassee, things must be a disaster because of Florida State Seminoles on Labor Day night. Oh my, oh my day looks rough. They looked bad, bad, bad, bad. Now, we turn the page and go to this week. And week two, after a pretty underwhelming week one, I would say, you know, we had the LSU USC game that was legit. Notre Dame, Texan game is good. I don't really think we had many other great games. Week two, on the other hand, not as much marquee matchups, but there are some good matchups that you're going to want to glue your eyeballs to on Saturday. And that's where college game day went to Ann Arbor, Michigan to start off here. Let's talk Texas and Michigan. I'm going to just say it. I don't think Michigan's great this year. I don't think Michigan's got the firepower that they did last year. I think losing Jim Harbaugh is actually a massive loss, probably more of a loss than we probably anticipated. I think losing JJ McCarthy, losing Blake Korm, that is irreplaceable shoes for the most part. Yes, they have Donovan Edwards. This guy can be the guy to replace Korm. He is still phenomenal. Michigan's got a really good defense. I thought Michigan, or I think Michigan's about to get a wake up call to their season. I think Texas is coming into Michigan on Saturday with some thoughts of we're going to run this team out of their own stadium and we're going to embarrass them on national television. I think Texas and Steve Farqisian is coming in and they are going to smoke Michigan. I think it is a seven and a half point favorite for Texas. First of all, seven and a half point favorite. To go on the road to Ann Arbor, Michigan, arguably the hardest place to win in college football on the road against the defending national champions and they're seven and a half point favorites. And I'm still taking Texas minus seven and a half. I'm still taking Texas minus seven and a half. I think Quinn Ewers and that Texas offense is legit. I think this Texas team is a team on a mission and I think this Texas team is a team that is going to show up on Saturday and make a statement that hey, we may not have won it last year, but we're here to try to win the national championship this year and we're the best team in the entire country. I think it's a statement game for Texas on Saturday, Michigan on the other hand. I just don't think they are going to be able to stop Texas. Their offense is too high powered. I think Texas has the best players on the field on Saturday. I think they have the better coaches on Saturday. I just think everything points to where Texas has the upper hand going into this matchup for game day on Saturday. Big game though, nonetheless, because you look at Michigan, they're trying to get a statement win themselves and this is kind of a prove it. Hey, like for both teams, we're a top five team in the country this year because you know, this is a huge game for bragging rights for both sides and Texas on the other hand, just I just think they have more firepower than Michigan. I think they're going to put it to Michigan and I think, look, yes, Texas lost our two best starting running backs going into the season. Looks like they haven't missed to be already. They just bring in five star five star five star and when you got Quinn Ewers on your team, you got to like your chances. You got to like your chances, but Michigan and Davis Warren, the senior quarterback for Michigan, he did not impress me in week one against Fresno State. I wasn't impressed. I wasn't impressed and I don't think he's going to be able to play from behind against this Texas team come Saturday. Michigan's going to have to get out and jump early or I think this game gets ugly fast. I really do. I think this gets ugly fast, but that's a game that we should have our eyes locked onto Tennessee, NC State, the night game, Kirk Hershreich going on the call, you know, games and it's not there as it is a neutral site classic at a Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina. This is an NC State team that I watched them last week against Western Carolina and Western Carolina had them on the ropes all game. That's concerning. That's concerning if you're NC State. Is it they were looking forward to Tennessee or is it they're just not a great football team? I'm not sold on NC State quite yet. I'm not sold on NC State quite yet. What I do believe in though is Tennessee might be the real deal and an alarming thing is the spread opened up at minus four and it is now at Tennessee minus eight. All of the public money has came in on the Tennessee volunteers to smoke and see state here. The biggest X factor here is Grayson McCall. This guy's a gamer. Been at Coastal Carolina for a couple of years. Proven winner, good quarterback, good leader. He's going to have to play good football offense. He state's going to want to have a chance to take down Tennessee because Tennessee's bringing a Niko and he might be the best quarterback in the entire country. He is special. The freshman from Long Beach, California, yet Tennessee struck gold. Tennessee struck gold. I mean, he was the number one high school player in the country. Number one high school quarterback in the country. This guy has been the real deal for a while and that first game they played against Chattanooga. Yeah, I don't care if it's Chattanooga. Your first college start to go 314 yards through the air and three touchdowns. Pretty impressive. Pretty impressive to say the least. NC State on the other hand, they got to play their best football. They got to play their best football because this is going to be a tough one. This is going to be a game where you're going to have to play lights out football. Western Carolina put up 21 points on this NC State defense that defense has to be a lot better because Tennessee's going to score 21 points in this game in a flash. They're going to do it in a flash. So I do think Tennessee is the upper hand here. We'll be interested to see how that game goes on a neutral site field. I am really excited for it and I do think we're going to have one hell of a football game on Saturday night. But I do think Tennessee runs away with it and I think Tennessee proves that they are a team to be reckoned with in the SEC and that Niko is the real deal to maybe the best quarterback in the entire country to be completely honest. So that is a game I am keeping an eye on. Another game I'm watching is I'm actually going to be there in person. South Carolina, Kentucky, ABC, 330. It's the SEC game of the day on 330 on ABC. And I think this game right here is insanely important for both teams. One first conference game of the year. You always want to get that. Two, I think when you look at both sides between both programs here, it's games that they both know that they have to win. It's games that they know they have to show up for and it's games where they know that they have to find a way to win for the future of their season. When you start off, let's look at South Carolina here. South Carolina just struggled against Old Dominion almost lost to Old Dominion didn't really look like a great team and could have lost on their home field. That would have been a disaster disaster. But a South Carolina wants to have any hope of having a good season. They got to get this game because they got LSU coming to town the week after. They still got to play Ole Miss. They still got to go to Alabama. They still got to play at Oklahoma. I mean, South Carolina, at Clemson, Missouri. They got really tough games, right? And if you lose to Kentucky, you are putting yourself behind the eight ball where this South Carolina gamecock team, look, they may not make a bowl game. They may not make a bowl game at that point. And that's a really, really, really worrisome thing if you are the South Carolina gamecocks. Now, look, they don't like Kentucky. South Carolina isn't like Kentucky. Kentucky isn't like South Carolina. It's more so beamer versus stoops. There is a little bit of bad blood there. You know, South Carolina is taking two against Kentucky out of their last two and beamer has mocked Mark Stoops in celebration after a couple of their wins. It goes back to Dane Key as well, four star recruit on an official to South Carolina. Kentucky FaceTimed them from their winning locker room after they beat South Carolina, at South Carolina with Dane Key there. So look, I mean, there's a little bad blood between the two, right? Why is this game so important for Kentucky? It's as simple as this. I'm glad you asked. Kind of similar to South Carolina. Kentucky, on the other hand, though, has something that they can accomplish that hasn't been done since 2007. And that is if they beat South Carolina, you have the opportunity for college game day to come to Lexington, Kentucky for the first time since 2007, since Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators were legit and the best team in the country. What you could do this year now is beat South Carolina. You'd be two and oh, you'd have the number one Georgia Bulldogs coming into town with college game day, with the world of every football fan that loves college football, all eyes on your program under the lights in Lexington, Kentucky, in Kroger Field. What it allows you to do is to start to dream a little bit. You win this game again, South Carolina, you can have a week of dreaming, right? But another reason why this game is so important is you have to win this game because Kentucky's looking to go eight and four, nine and three, right? Realistically, that's probably the expectation. Okay. And if you beat South Carolina, you still set yourself up for a really good season. Assuming, yes, you probably lose to Georgia, right? Number one team in the country probably going to win the national championship. Sure. That's a gimme loss. You go on the road to Ole Miss, probably losing that one at Tennessee, probably losing that one at Texas, probably losing. There's four losses, but it still gives you an, you know, a chance against if you win this to still go eight and four or to, you know, dream here, right? Dream here. And you college game day coming against Georgia, anything can happen. Anything can happen. But if you lose to South Carolina, you, you lose all of the high college game game goes out into the way. Your fan base takes a step back and really doesn't have as much of an interest anymore. Right. And I think Kentucky football fans get a bad rap. I think a lot of people view it as a basketball school and that the fans only care about basketball. I don't believe that's true at all. I believe that Kentucky football fans are very, very loyal and faithful to this program. And it kind of gets, you know, under looked and under appreciated. But I really do believe big blue nation as you saw what they did against Southern Miss to still have the majority of the crowd there, even after a two and a half hour rain delay, where kickoff didn't start until 10 o'clock at night. I think that's the real big blue nation and the big blue nation that needs to get appreciated because they are a loyal fan base that loves this university. But you have to keep them engaged. And if you lose to South Carolina, it's fair for the fans to lose engagement because you have to win this. Now, if you do win this, it's exactly like I just said, more likely than not, college game day comes to town for the first time since 2017. Your entire fan base is all in. Everybody is just the energy at work at school, wherever you are in the Commonwealth. All it is, is just breathing and breathing, talking about, oh my God, Georgia comes to town, college game, it comes to town. What if we beat Georgia, right? You have an excitement and a buzz in the air that's hard to explain and replicate. But man, is it one of the greatest feelings in the world? Now, personally, Saturday, I think the South Carolina Kentucky game, I think it's going to be in a ridiculously good atmosphere. Kentucky opened up as a seven and a half point favorite. Line has jumped to seven. I do expect Kentucky to handle business. And I do expect Kentucky to, you know, play with their advantages, beat South Carolina in the physicality, realm of the game, and Brock Vandegrift to continue to shine and continue to get more comfortable. And I continue to think Kentucky will grow more comfortable into this team that they are and, you know, trend in the right direction to have a very, very good season. I've set it up before and I'll say it again. This Kentucky football team is the most talented team March students has ever had at Kentucky. Only problem is it's the hardest schedule he's also ever had at Kentucky. So it's week two, but it's a must-win in Lexington for both teams this weekend. 3 30 ABC get excited. What a game do we have this Saturday, September 7th between South Carolina and Kentucky. But for the most part, though, it's a really underwhelming week two. Not many great games. Those are the three that I'm touching on. Those are the three best games to kind of keep up with. The rest of it is a lot of just non-conference games where you're continuing to build confidence into your roster. You should take advantage of these teams for the most part, but that's really it from the college football slate of things. But I'll tell you what we do have to talk about. And that is the NFL being back tonight. You have made it. You have made it. The Baltimore Ravens versus the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar Jackson versus Patrick Mahomes, a game that has been circled on our calendar for a long time. The annual Thursday night kickoff of the NFL being back. It is a beautiful feeling, and there is a beautiful, beautiful vibe in the air with football returning. I think Kansas City's got another championship on their mind, of course. As long as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey are doing their thing, they always got a chance. They always got a chance. The Baltimore Ravens, you know, came up just short against Kansas City last year, trying to get to a Super Bowl. They have one thing on their mind, and that is getting over the hump this year of the Kansas City Chiefs. And what better time to do it than week one? Don't think you could have a better Thursday night kickoff than Baltimore and Kansas City to start our year. Two top five quarterbacks in the entire NFL head to head Thursday night football, NBC. Because now you got to remember Amazon Prime doesn't start until week two of the NFL. So we do have it on NBC come Thursday tomorrow or today Ravens versus Chiefs. What a game this is going to be. I think it's going to be a shootout. I think both offenses are going to be flying up and down the field. I think we are going to get a lot of points here, a lot of points. I think a big factor here between the two teams is can the Ravens avenge the AFC Championship loss? Can they put that frustration and anger into, you know, a chip on their shoulder in week one and taking Kansas City down in Arrowhead? As you know, Arrowhead is one of the loudest crowds in the NFL, a night game in Arrowhead and make it even louder, especially a season opener. You have to remember Derek Henry signed with Baltimore in the off season. We get to see the debut of Derek Henry and Lamar Jackson, that little backfield there, right? A lot of people kind of forgot that's kind of swept under the rug with Derek Henry going from Tennessee to Baltimore. This is his best opportunity of a chance to win a Super Bowl. I like Derek Henry to give that offense of another boost. I think they've had good running game, especially with Lamar's ability to run, but I don't think they've had a game changing running back. And that's no disrespect to Justice Hill. Gus Edwards, JK Dobbins, everybody in that Ravens backfield the last couple of years, but I just think none of them have that it factor. Derek Henry has that it factor. And I think that brings another type of level where it's harder to stop this offense because years past, you're going to make the running backs beat you and you don't care. Or you don't want Lamar to take it because Lamar's a game changer. You're not scared of the other backs, right? But now you've got to make a decision. Do we want to stop Lamar or Derek Henry? I think it's just up makes that running game even better in Baltimore. But I think this is going to be one hell of a game and I'm excited for it. Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes, they're just on another quest to get another Super Bowl and to continue that dynasty down there in Kansas City. What a Thursday night game we have on our hands. I got Kansas City minus two and a half. I think it's going to be a great game though. And I do think it comes down to the wire. The Packers and the Eagles. Interesting. Interesting game. One, I don't know why they're going to Brazil. Yes, there is some type of controversy with gang violence and wearing green. Wearing green. I don't understand it, but there's something like that. Philadelphia is not wearing green. Green Bay has decided to wear green. I don't know if this game's even safe, but here we are. They're going out playing in San Paulo, Brazil. I don't know if they'll go back to Brazil, but what I do know is they want to continue to try to make the game of football international. I think it's good in London because I love only three times a year. I don't want to do it every Sunday. I don't want to do it every Sunday. I think the NFL does a great job at it. But three Sundays a year, you wake me up and I get to watch football at 9.30 in the morning in London. Yes, please. It doesn't get any better than that. And I love that. Even if it is usually the crappiest teams, it's something I just can't describe. It's a beautiful feeling. But we're going to Brazil now on Peacock, Noah Eigle, Todd Blackledge, or yeah, on the call. Should be. That's a good broadcast team right there. And I think we have a great game here between Green Bay and Philadelphia. I've never watched a Friday night in a Fogan. This is weird, right? Friday nights are usually you get done with your work week, you get excited. Yeah, got college footballs and right around the corner. You wake up, get excited, college game day and at college football has got all your Saturday before you get into that Sunday. But this year, it's weird. You know, you have football, Thursday night football, NFL, Friday night football, and then college football. But it's kind of nice though to have that Friday filler. I think the NFL did a great job on planning it as well because that makes me really excited. I think it's a great, great, great, great decision to have a Friday night game to open up the year. It's different, but it definitely continues the excitement going into their first we are back weekend quote unquote. So that's going to be a great game. How will Jordan love perform, right? I think the Packers kind of overachieved last year snuck into the playoffs. We know what they did to Dallas in that first round of the playoffs where Dallas just completely, completely got embarrassed and Jordan love had the game of his life. And Green Bay took San Francisco in the next round down to the wire almost a clinched and or NFC championship appearance in Jordan loves first year of starting. So that was impressive. I expect him to continue to grow into a comfortable quarterback that continues to find himself. And I think Green Bay is going to be great this year. Philadelphia, they turned it in the other direction, right? They were horrible. They were great to start the year and then they trend it downwards and they were struggling, struggling, struggling, and Tampa Bay put it to Philadelphia in the playoffs just to disappointing ending of the Philadelphia season. Jason Kelsey retires. They got to fix that. They got to kind of fill holes, but the, you know, debut of Saquon Barkley should make Philadelphia fans excited. They're probably going to win the NFC East this year, I would say over Dallas, but they're a good football team. And I expect good things out of Philadelphia. That's a great Friday night game to watch. Then you get into Sunday. And I think the mark he gave on Sunday is besides the prime time game, we're going to get to the prime time game here in a second, but it's the 425 game. It's the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys. As of right now, when I record this podcast, Dak Prescott has still not gotten his contract. I don't know what Jerry Jones is doing. I don't know what Jerry Jones is thinking. But what I do know is there's a lot of high expectations in Dallas. And I made a bold take. I made a bold take. And it was certainly, certainly, certainly both, certainly bold. But I said, in my 22 years, I think this is the first time I'm going to see the Dallas Cowboys go to the NFC championship. It was bold. It was bold, but I truly believe it. I think there was something special about the Dallas Cowboys team. All you hear the media say is they lost so much in off season and free agency. They got worse than what they were last year. I think that's not the case. We can laugh and we can joke about their running back room. Okay. The end of the day, look what the Baltimore Ravens do every single year. They don't have a great running back room, but they still have a pretty decent run game. And yes, that is because of Lamar Jackson. Okay. But in, you know, throwing Dak Prescott's a better quarterback than Lamar. So they offset each other. Okay. I think Dallas has playmakers, stars, and a good defense and defense wins championships. The best signing that Dallas Cowboys made this year in the off season is Mike Zimmer. I'm skeptical of Mike. I was and as camp went on, I thought Mike Zimmer was unbelievably great. I thought the training camp practices looked great and I thought the Cowboys looked crisp. It's hard to fill Dan Quinn's shoes, but I think Mike Zimmer is going to be the guy that does that. And I think he brings out another version of Micah Parsons that we have not seen. And that says something. But I think Dallas has a lot of high expectations. I still think they're going to have one of the best offenses in the league. And that's because I think Dak Prescott's going to have an MVP caliber season just like he did last year. The media won't tell you that, but I will. He's only going to continue to grow and get better. And I think Dak is just now entering his prime CD lamb, I think is arguably, if not the best wide receiver in the national football league. And I think CD lamb is going to have one hell of a year. I think in the offensive line in Dallas, it's probably as good as an offensive line they've had since 2016-2017 with Travis reidrich back in the day. Okay. I mean, this line is legit Cooper BB rookie out of Kansas state. He has a hell of a career ahead of him. The starting left tackle rookie first round or Tyler Guten out of Oklahoma. That guy's got all pro potential. They did really good with their offensive line. They did good drafting. And that defense is going to be legit. Now yet the Ron Bland out six to eight weeks. That hurts. That hurts. But we didn't know to run the land a couple of years ago. So watch out for Caitlyn Carson. It's a big deal when a corner rack for the Dallas Cowboys, whereas the number 21, that means you got the factor right Deon Sanders. Well, they have a lot of faith that Kayla and Carson is going to have one hell of a year because he's wearing 21 as a rookie. He's got the confidence this defense is legit. This team is legit. I think the Cowboys have a really good year. It's Tom Brady's broadcasting debut. We'll see how that goes. Cleveland on the other hand, I think they're going to be great right there are two and a half point under favorite at home. We just talked about the Cowboys defense. Well, Cleveland's got one hell of a defense miles Garrett on pace. You know, every year to win defense, the player of the year, lead the league in sacks. They got a good secondary. They have a very good offense, a good offensive line. When they get Nick Chubback, that's going to be another step up for them. Amari Cooper, right going up against his former team. Surely he's going to want to have a big day. I would expect him to. But I think Cleveland's going to have a really good season this year. That 425 box game. I think best game of the afternoon slate. I think the most fun game of the afternoon slate is a game you may not expect. It's the Arizona Cardinals versus the Buffalo Bills. Now, yeah, the bills were one of the best teams in the NFL last year. The Arizona Cardinals were one of the worst. Why would that be fun? Because a healthy Kylie or Kyler Murray is electrifying to watch. And a healthy Josh Allen is fun to watch. Now look, Buffalo lost Stefan Diggs. Now it's a next man up mentality. They lost Gabe Davis. He went to Jacksonville. Crazy, right? Keyon Coleman had one year or one hell of a year at Florida State. I expect him to have a phenomenal year in Buffalo. I expect Buffalo to still be one of the better teams in the NFL. Maybe a step down on what they've been in the past couple of years. But when you have Josh Allen, anything can happen. Arizona, on the other hand, with Kylie Murray and this electrifying offense, it's a lot of fun, man. And I think they're going to have a lot of fun in Arizona because your offense is fun. I think this is going to be a really high scoring game. It's a over under of 48 and a half, which on Sunday, I want to say that 48 and a half was the actual highest over under total until the Sunday night game at 50 and a half. So I think it's going to be a high scoring game, high scoring affair. It's going to be a lot of fun. That's my pick for most fun game of the Sunday slate. A couple other things to talk about is the Bengals and Patriots. Look, it's a questionable decision that the Patriots may be going with Jacobi Reissette over Drake May, right? Drake May, rookie quarterback, a lot of hype there. Basically New England's just kind of letting Jacobi go for a little bit, just so they rack up a couple losses. And then, oh, hey, Drake May comes save the day. That's what it looks at from my vantage point. I would have gone with Drake May, but I get it, whatever it is, what it is. I mean, you see what Denver's doing. They're going with Bonix. They're kind of giving him the leash and saying, let's go go have some fun. So I would have gone with Drake May, but they didn't. But the biggest thing about this game between the Pats and Bengals is, look, what the hell's going on with Jamar Chase? He's got two years left on his contract. He's sat out the entire off season. Okay. And then decided, oh, hey, yeah, Wednesday, Wednesday of game week before week one. I guess I'll just go and limit it practice. I'll practice just for a little bit, but I'll be limited, but I'm still trying to get my point across. I need a new contract. What a diva. What a diva. You have two years left on your contract and you're asking for a contract extension and you're holding yourself out of practice and basically putting yourself behind the eight ball. Jamar Chase is not going to be as effective as he's been in years past. I mean it. And I'm not saying he's going to get injured, but not having a full camp is a little nerve wracking, right? If I'm a fantasy owner, I'd stay the hell away from him. I wouldn't want him. No way. No way. Because he's already behind the eight ball. He's a horrible teammate, by the way, for this, not going to training camp with your brothers all off season. It's different if you're in a contract here, but to have two years left on your contract. Are you out of your mind? It's not even a guarantee that Jamar Chase is going to play. Sure. He had limited practice. That's great. But how much value is he going to bring to you? Seriously. It's just a very crazy thing in the new, or, you know, the Cincinnati Bengals organization going on with Jamar Chase. Wild. Wild. A couple other games to hit on. The Titans bear should be a fun one. Look, it's Caleb Williams is NFL debut. He's going up against Will Levis. Will Levis has a very, very bright future. This Tennessee team has high expectations this year. Chicago on the other hand, they are all in. Caleb Williams is the guy they think Caleb Williams is going to be the guy that gets him back to the promised land. Caleb Williams is going to make this teammate contender, and they are going to be a very fun team to watch. So it's always good when the Bears are better in Chicago is better as a sports town because they are very one passionate fan base and they got their guy and Caleb Williams and they're really excited. We'll be fun to see how he does on Sunday. A couple others hit on Jayden Daniels debut for the Washington commanders, the number two pick overall. How will he be able to do against the Buccaneers team? Who, look, they were a team that ended up going to the divisional last year. Felt pretty good about themselves. Baker Mayfield's got high expectations for the Buccaneers team. Tough one for Jayden Daniels week one, but should be a good one. And then the Sunday night game, the Rams and the Lions. Matthew Stafford's return back to Detroit. Always fun. That was a playoff game last year. We all know how Detroit took down the Rams. Stafford's looking for revenge here. Great, great, great week one slate. It is so good to have the NFL back, ladies and gentlemen. And we will talk about it on Monday when we have NFL games to be able to recap and college football games to recap. It is the best time of the year. Happy September, one of the greatest months of the year. I love you guys and I will see you guys on Monday. Peace out. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC]
