Breaking news from this one is almost unbelievable. Yeah, it's all about new customers at Bet365 because they get $200 in bonus bets when they bet $5. And even better, bonus bets can be used on the spread, totals, and player props. There you have it. Bet $5 to get $200 in bonus bets. And see why. It's never ordinary. At BetV6.5, the gambling problem? Color text 1 and 100 gambler. 21 plus only. Must be physically located in Colorado. Terms and conditions apply. Good afternoon, everybody. We're getting to the end of the summer wind. And then on to the autumn wind. And for those of you who are traveling in Ann Arbor, Michigan, you'll be able to feel that autumn wind because the high temperature is going to be 60 degrees. It's going to be about 48, 49 kickoff on Saturday. So as the chairman of the board saying, I lost you to the summer wind, but the autumn wind has rolled in. And between the start of the NFL season and the Longhorns playing in true autumn conditions, we know football season in all of its glory has arrived. Good afternoon, everybody. Welcome to the program here on sports radio. I am 13 under the zone. My name is Craig Way. Glad to have you alongside. Please be joined once again by the producer of this here little radio program. He's Cameron D. Parker, the D on the birth certificate stands for Dallas as in the pro football team for which his middle name derives. In while it is his favorite team, he has vowed not to watch them this Sunday in the season opener against the Cleveland Browns, as he probably won't watch them unless they reach the NFC Championship. So the D might stand for what? Defense this weekend against the Michigan Wolverines. Mike, that work. It's going to be a lot of defense on Saturday at the big house, especially against one of the best defensive lines, maybe still in the country at the Graham duo for Michigan on the front line in the Texas secondary, which looked very good against Colorado State. At one point in that third quarter, Craig, I tweeted it out, Archmani had more passing yards than Colorado State. At one point in that third quarter, it's going to be a blast. And you take off very early tomorrow morning, right? Yeah, it'll be before it's sunlight here. Roger Wallace and Will Matthews and I will make our way to the broadcast crew up there to Michigan. Speaking of Roger Wallace, he'll join us in the three o'clock hour, preview of their KBVO big game of the week, high school telecast, and also preview of what to expect in terms of their long run coverage in the KXA and slash next star family of stations throughout the course of the weekend. So we'll do that coming up in a few minutes. We'll hear from long runs head coach, Steve Sarkeesian. He has that final local media availability every Thursday. And that's a zoom on the media. And we'll hear some comments from that from SARC. So that'll be coming your way in the next segment. And also we'll hear some more from him in the ensuing hours as well. So that that is coming up. Additionally, additionally, we'll take a look at tonight's game on the National Football League schedule as well as college football, high school football. There's plenty to discuss. We do have inconceivable this hour. We'll get to that as well. And so there's a lot to discuss now before we get on to the break and then to SARC afterwards, Steve, to say you're pretty pumped up about the start of the NFL season, even though as a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, you have sworn off watching them, at least for the time being. But are you fired up about to start the NFL season as a whole? Oh, very fired up. I think this might be the most I've been fired up for the NFL in quite some time. I mean, you get the Chiefs looking for a three P added Xavier worthy excited about him at Marquise Brown. You have the bangles who played your Rams in the Super Bowl a few years ago, who just have not been healthy by Joe Burrell returns. Can they get Jamar Chase back on the field? He practiced yesterday. The Ravens who reached the AFC title game this past season played the Chiefs tonight, came up short, can Lamar Jackson finally get over that hump? And then of course, he's to have the bills. The Jets come back with Aaron Rodgers. What will Aaron Rodgers look like post ACL? He's 40 years old as the quarterback. We just have not seen that much except for Tom Brady. They have the charges with Jim Harbaugh. So many good storylines out of the AFC and the NFC, the 49ers. Once again, under Kyle Shannon, make it to the Super Bowl. A lot of people argue they should have won that game. What will they do with another year of Brock? Pretty? Well, it'd be maybe a year from hell because they've already had holdouts and there's always those injury concerns with McCaffrey and everyone else on the team, young and upcoming teams like the Packers, Detroit Lions. A lot of people love the Packers and the Lions this year. Eagles added, telling more as our offensive coordinator, a new system for Jalen Hurts, one of the great young quarterback. You have the Cowboys who are just doing their own thing in a different universe. I mean, and then the Falcons, they had Kirk Cousins. They got Be John Robinson, Drake, London, Kyle Pitts. I mean, there's so many in the course of Los Angeles Rams. Thank you. Who, if healthy, I think are my sleeper team in the NFCs. They actually make it Jordan Woodington. Yeah, out there in that offense. So super excited to your point about not watching the Cowboys all season long. I saw my uncle last night and he was like, now there's, there's no, you're going to watch the Cowboys play this year. I'm like, no, I'm not near your line. You're going to watch and play out. Hey, he asked what time the game is on Sunday. I don't even know, Craig. I'm proud to say I do not know what time the Cowboys play. So I'll not be watching. Okay. I believe you. I believe you're, you're planning the whole tree to your vow. Here's where it's going to cause you the most trouble. It's going to be a deal where the only game on is the Cowboys game, whether it's an early window or the late window, the only game on. I think now you have red zone, right? Mm hmm. So I'm going to see Cowboys plays on the red zone. You're right. You're just not making an appointment television to watch the game telecast. You're watching red zone. So they're going to, they're going to kick to it. There's not, you can't avoid that. Of course, but you're just saying you're not making an appointment TV to sit down and actually watch them watch the, the full telecast. Correct? Yeah. My usual setup is two TVs in living room, one dedicated to the Cowboys, the other one dedicated to the red zone. Okay. Or if they're playing on a Thursday night or Friday night now or Saturday or a Sunday night or a Monday night, whether it's the only game, I'm not going to dedicate my four hours to watching that. I'm not going to sit down like I have in years past and be glued to the TV and enduring more pain this season. But that's, that's my promise. Lyndon and I were talking about your, I'm not going to use the word predicament. Your proclamation for what you want to do. And she had an idea. She said, you know, Cameron works very hard. He said, you two guys work really hard doing what you do during the week. She said, my suggestion would be, for example, the Cowboys kick off at 325 against the Browns on Sunday. She said, my suggestion would be that Kim, you know, red zone it one side and down the other in the early windows, watch whatever games he's had and in this case, to speak to what you're saying, have a game on in the early window. Falcon Steelers is the, is the early Fox window. We get Beijon. So, uh, so watch that or Texans on. She said, and then when you get to three o'clock, take a nap, tell them, take just like a nap up to about six 30 and then he got and then he's up in time for Sunday night football and he's, he's ready to go. That's her suggestion. Hey, my, my congregation means it three 30 on Sunday. So that's a perfect time. Cause when you watch the Cowboys, you do need to find Jesus after them. They play. So that'll be very helpful. You can pray for their, pray for their, uh, their welfare during it. Okay. Okay. Uh, okay. So, uh, the game tonight will be, uh, the chiefs and the Ravens. We'll, we'll talk about that. And we'll talk about other NFL action, uh, some baseball mentioned as well. So there's, there's a lot to get to on the program this afternoon. Glad to have you with us up next. We hear from long ones head coach Steve Sarkisian when we continue on sports radio. I am 13 out of the zone and the I hair radio app breaking news from this one is almost unbelievable.
