One of the factors in the Longhorn passing attack could be Matthew Golden, the transfer receiver from Houston, who had a big day, including a pair of touchdown grabs as well. And Golden, of course, if you remember, and I mentioned this in the first hour of the program, actually played high school football with Jaden Blue at Klein Kane, one of the newer schools in the greater Houston area. And he was asked about his relationship with Jaden and what he feels that Blue brings to the offense. I mean, that's my day one. You know, we went to high school together. You know, I've been doing blue my whole life. So, I mean, he had a different running back. You know, he could play in the backfield. He could play receiver to, you know, just having it back like that. That's so, I mean, he's reliable. I mean, I mean, it ain't nothing Blue can't do. So just having him, you know, I mean, it makes everything easier for the offense. No question about it. Now, one more time, and then we'll probably clear the deck on this deal, that no look pass thing, because we hadn't heard from him from the receiver on that about how you do that. And you'll also hear our friend Kirk Bowles now with the Eastern Chronicle with a follow up on this on the no look pass coming from Quinn viewers. I wasn't expecting a boss, you want to be honest, but I mean, Quinn, Quinn let it go. And I just know I had to get his own at the end of the day. So you're glad you were left? Oh, yeah. Sure. Okay. All right. Now, this was another question was asked, you know, with all of these outstanding receivers, and he got Quinn viewers, and a guy like Jane Blue catch the ball coming out of the backfield, well, are there to use the old phrase enough footballs to go around? Yeah, I feel like it is for sure. You know, we got a good rotation going. You know, everybody got a touch to feel at the end of the day. I mean, that's just how that this is how I got to be. So I mean, I appreciate each and every guy in our room, you know, they come in and work each and every day. So that's it. Yeah. All right. That's one way to live. Now, he's finally had a chance to immerse himself in Sark's offense. So how about his thoughts on Steve Sarkeesian's offense that he now seems to be a central figure in? I mean, he could create anything he want. I mean, he looking at the defense and just calling any play he thinks. I mean, I feel like we could execute any play he calls. So just being out there. I mean, like I said, just to go back to having fun and just playing for by the end of the day. Okay. All right. So if it's that then, how truly capable is this offense? In other words, what are they capable of scoring on a regular basis? I feel like we was going to get 60. I thought it was going to end up scoring again, but you know, it happened. It is what it is. But I mean, I love this team, you know, I appreciate each and every guy on this team. And I mean, I think that we got a good brotherhood and that's off the field too. I mean, I feel like that's what's going to take us further than what we expect to go. Okay. All right. There you are. That's from Matthew Golden, who could wind up being a very important part of this offensive attack for Texas this season. And a little more from Anthony Hill as well. Just first of all, in talking about, you know, we've been talking about the line backing core, but what about the defensive line? His thoughts on how the defensive line played last Saturday. They did a great job to me in his job. Of course, we did a great job stopping and running. I feel like it starts a friend and then it ends with us. So I did a great job with that handling that. And there's another guy. We got a chance to see two defensive linemen off that back-to-back state championship Duncanville team play Alex January in the interior defensive front and then Colin Simmons coming off the edge. What did Anthony Hill think of Colin Simmons play his performance in the game? How much talent do you see in there, though? He's going to be a star. That's all I can say. I mean, he kind of reminds me of myself a lot. So I kind of understand like what he goes through and all that. So it's just really good to see him out there and playing fast. And then finally, yeah, now eyes turning toward Ann Arbor and getting ready for Michigan. We know what type of games are going to be. It's going to be physical. We just carry to get out there and go play. Yeah, it's as simple as that, you might say. You know, it would be it would be a disservice to either side if you said, you know, yeah, you just go and you know, this is how it is and you don't sound like it has meaning because it does have meaning, even though it's a non-conference game. Even though we've talked about the fact that it can be a game that really catapults a team to a great season. But if you lose it, it also isn't a tragedy in terms of completely wiping out your hopes to make the college football playoff, which of course is a big goal for virtually every team in college football. And that is to get into that brand new, new, fangled 12 team expanded playoff in college football. So it's going to be important to do that on the text line this afternoon. Somebody reminded us, you know, when we had Greg Tepper on last hour about Maverick McIver, the quarterback for Abilene Christian, who transferred to Texas Tech. He's from San Angelo Central's step reminded us. And of course, they we were reminded that Maverick is the son of former Longhorn quarterback Rick McIver and came out of San Angelo Central and now is at ACU. And then somebody said, by November 2nd and 7, oh, two and seven. By November, the two and seven Cowboys will be covered by debt. He said, Dave Stockton and Dan jigots. Now, all right, let me let me clean up some of it. It was, first of all, it would be Dick Stockton. Dave Stockton was a PGA touring pro. He won the 1969 PGA championship. In fact, they've stocked and did. He was an outstanding golfer. He's in all the fame anyway. So I think even Dick Stockton and Dan jigots used to be an analyst for CBS back in the day, hasn't been in some time and wasn't, wasn't top of the line. But the point is made, he's expecting the Cowboys to be two and seven by then as, as down as you are on the Cowboys, as down as you are on them, you don't think they're going to be two and seven, right? Two and seven. Let's see. We haven't done this. We have not done this. We might as well go ahead and just do it right now. Game by game. Yeah, we're just going to go ahead and do this. We're going to go game by game for both the Cowboys and the Texans. Okay. So I'm going to throw it at you. And then you just tell me. All right. I've got it pulling up right here. Cowboys. And that is funny. All right. Let's go to their schedule. Here's the schedule. Okay. All right. So this Sunday, you do not expect them to have any difficulty with the Cleveland Browns. Is that correct? I don't think so. But again, I mean, they still have Miles Garrett. They still have a fantastic defense, but again, offensively, you know, just don't know Nick Chubb. Think they win this game. So I would take the Cowboys. Okay. All right. All right. So we got that. All right. Next week, home game New Orleans should win that two and no. Okay. Saints should be awful this year. Okay. Then Baltimore Ravens. That's a home game. Ravens. Okay. Then real quickly. Let me see what is, yeah, one more Jackson want to know against the Cowboys in their his career. Okay. Thursday night game at the metallands against the Giants. Should have win that just because it's the Giants and if Daniel Jones still the quarterback and unless, you know, Phil Sims comes back reincarnated, then I think that'll be Cowboys victory. Okay. Road game at Pittsburgh on a Sunday night the next week. Should win that. But again, a night game in Pittsburgh, Tomlin's defense, you know, maybe they'll get a little frisky with Justin Fields at quarterback or Russell Wilson, whatever. I would lean Cowboys, but you know, that could change after we see a month of Pittsburgh football to see what this team is. A lot of people will think they're going to be really bad this year, but I don't know. Mike Tomlin still finds a way. I mean, he made it to the playoffs last season in their quarterback for what? Trubisky and and Kenny Pickett. Yep. Yep. All right. So for now, you're still going Cowboys. Yeah. Okay. All right. All right. Now it's going to get ugly. All right. All right. Real ugly. Home game on Texas. Oh, you weekend lions. Lions. Okay. Yeah. I think the Troy after how they lost the Dallas last season. The Saturday night game. My goodness. Yeah. They are going to be remembering that one. All right. Then coming off a buy. Coming off a buy. I think it was San Francisco. 49ers buy a million. Okay. Then road game in Atlanta Atlanta. Really? Okay. All right. Home game against the Eagles. Hmm. I think they're going to lose the Philadelphia. Okay. Then Monday night home game against the Texans lose the Houston. Okay. And that'll be fun because then all the Texans fans on Twitter will be cloning Cowboys fans on Twitter about who runs the state of Texas. All right. Then game at Washington. Dak might throw for 500 yards against Washington's defense. So give me Cowboys. Give me Cowboys against New York as well. I think they're going to continue their dominance over teams not named the Eagles in the NFC East. That's a Thanksgiving day game. So you're taking the Cowboys. Yeah. Okay. All right. Monday night home game against the Bengals. Give me Joe Sheisty. Okay. Give me the Bengals. All right. I think he'll be healthy by then. The Bengals will be a pretty good team by December. All right. Then road game in Charlotte at Carolina. Yeah. No problem there. All right. So they win that Carolina may have one or two wins at that point. Sunday night home game three days before Christmas against Tampa Bay. Could be interesting. You know, Baker Mayfield chip on a shoulder type guy. Connections to taxes, of course. I think I would lean Dallas, but you know, usually because what's their record right now? What do I have a map? Seven and seven and seven. Yeah. I could see things going off the rails here. A lot a lot of Tampa Bay. All right. So you're going to go to this is when we start when we're firmly in Mike McCarthy. It is not coming back. Jerry Jones is being asked about it on this Monday show. We say I'm not talking about this anymore. So you're picking Tampa Bay then? Yes. Okay. All right. Then they go to Philly. Lose that one. Okay. Then they close out at home against Washington. Probably a win there. So an eight and eight nine. That's eight nine. Yeah. This is what that is. Wow. Here you are. You're rooting for that to happen. Kind of deep down. I am. See, that just drives me crazy with fans who supposedly are so loyal to their team. And yet they want them to lose because they say in a long haul to be better for the team. It will be. It will be better in the long haul. They make the change. I'm rooting for them to lose. Okay. All right. And you call yourself a fan. Appathetic. Cowboys. Yeah. I can so proclaimed. Appathetic. All right. We'll do this with the Texans. When we come back here on Sports Radio A in 13 under the zone in the IR radio app. Breaking news from this one is almost unbelievable. Yeah.
