Listen back to Paul Cooney, Andy Walker and Craig Moore as they react to the Champions League draw and Paul Lambert joins them for a chat.

This is the Goradio football show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. Call 08, 08 at 17, 17, 700. Let's go! I want to show we've got for you this evening the Champions League draw starts. Apparently 5, 27, when, what's not the ball's coming out the hat, it's different this time. It's AI is going to be in charge, well we'll find out, but it starts 5, 27. This is Paul Gunny with Andy Walker, the former Celtic star and Craig Murk, former Rangers star and we're going to start Andy with the breaking news this afternoon. Celtic have a great total agreement for their biggest ever signing £11 million. They've agreed it's certainly with Osberg in the Bundesliga for army angles. Yeah, I think this is a day to be really excited. There's our Celtic supporter. You've obviously get the game at the weekend against Rangers, the Champions League draw in half an hour and the fact that Celtic have done some major business and I think they're doing it because Brendan Rodgers is insisting that they get a bit of quality. We know that this player angles his, he's at less than 100 appearances in his career. He's only 20 but clearly he's a type of player I think who could go on and really excite the Celtic supporters. Craig is a big statement isn't it, of intent they've lost. Matt Therel will speak about it shortly. He has to undergo an operation about for some time. But what about the signing of angles? Well, it's a lot of money. There's no doubt about that but again it shows I guess the intent by Celtic and the support now that has been given to Brendan. Look, as Andy touched on a 20-year-old player central midfield, he's played maybe 50 odd games in the Bundesliga which is a very, very strong league. He's at a great age. Celtic are obviously looking at that and feeling as if that investment is not only worthwhile today but they're hoping to get a return, longer-term with his age pool. So an interesting signing, that's for sure. At Euro Club at Rangers, the name this afternoon, Rangers linked with Nadeem Bajrami in advanced talks with Rangers over a season-long loan deal from the Italian outfit sasmolo. What do you think of this one? What do you think of the player? Bajrami, the Albanian national team player, look at anybody that watched the Euros, he was on the score sheet against Italy. No mean feet. No mean feet at all. He's a number 10. He can make things happen. We understand that Cantwell situation will be potentially leaving although I don't think anything is locked away at this moment in time. But Bajrami is somebody that will come into that number 10 role for Rangers if that is the case on a loan situation but a very, very good player and on the back of, like I said, a good Euros where Albania were an entertaining team to watch, they certainly had a go. They did right from the kickoff, didn't we? As we remember, Rangers fans, what you're thinking, Celtic fans, Mark's been on already great to see her team as what he's saying, spending and spending big and hopefully spending wisely. Andy Austin trusted the name still there. It could well be announced before tomorrow night. Yeah. I saw him last season. I was doing a Sheffield United game at home where they played Chelsea. It finished 2-2. Trusty played really well. I mean, Chelsea have got some really tricky wide players. How did he handle them? He handled them really well. I mean, Sheffield United had a really dreadful season and they lost a lot of goals. I think about 104 goals over the season in the league. But on that occasion, they were a match for Chelsea and the trusty played well. Is he a big unit? No, he's just a reliable player. Celtic also interested in the LaSanne midfielder Alvin Sanchez, a 21-year-old. This is on the wires this afternoon, Andy. So there's quite a bit on the go for Celtic. And you mentioned it. The manager did say the weekend after Matt Norelli had gone that he was looking to spend big and more importantly, spend wisely this week. Yeah, there's absolutely no point in securing a manager of Brendan Rodgers' quality and not giving him what he's looking for. Celtic's business has been really good over the last number of years. I think everyone's aware of the money that they've got in the bank. But this is an exciting time. It's a Champions League draw. It's going to be, it's going to be up against it, no matter who they're up against in their eight games. And they want to make the mark. That's where Celtic should be measured. The draw is due to start in 20 minutes. We see them gathering together. There's the UEFA President Seffron on stage more than that shortly. Andy won about Rio Hittati, 26 years old, not for sale. Apparently a £10 million offer came in yesterday from France, from League Anne. Well, I'm not surprised he's attracting a bit of interest. And that, if he, you know, Celtic might be interested in doing business. You don't know what Brendan Rodgers thinks about it. And you've got to remember, if Celtic are knocking it back, you just hope that he's the type of character that really seemed to be, you know, there was interest from Atalanta, there was interest from Aflatico Madrid. But he seemed to just get his head down, let his football do the talking, and then, you know, you take it from there. But Hittati, I think, has been a wonderful signing for Celtic. They got him at a very cheap price. And I think he's shown his quality over the last few years. Yeah, he was brilliant at the weekend. Wasn't he Craig over on Planet Rangers at the moment? That's been at Planet Celtic there. What's the use from Fiorentina? There's a link with Joseph Bracallo. Again, I think, you know, the Bracallo situation, who last season he was on loan at Hayduk Split, but he is a Fiorentina player. There is certainly interest. I think that this potential move, though, Paul could hinge on the movement of Matondo, whether or not, you know, because again, it has gone quiet, doesn't it? It has gone quiet. So Bracallo is a, you know, you can play in the four or three areas, but prefers being out on the left. Again, a really good CV and profile. But again, I think just a message that we've had continuously coming out from Rangers is players need to leave before players start coming in. But Peter's been on already from City Centre, big, Rangers fan saying, "What is happening with Todd Cantwell? Over night, we know the word was, he was going for maybe half a million to Blackburn Rovers, but their boss John used to send today. No incomeings were close. Now, managers say things which then, you know, that may have been the situation at 11 o'clock this morning. Do you think Cantwell is going to go? I think that that's it's working towards that direction, Paul. I think that there's certainly enough interest here in the UK for Todd Cantwell and, you know, maybe him and his team are still still sort of like hanging out for a few more options. But I don't think anything is locked away at this moment in time for Todd Cantwell, other than it's clear for all parties that moving on is going to be the best case scenario. And no one in Janis Hadji who made it clear he went into social media. We talked about it last night saying, "Listen, I've never said I want to away from here. I want to get a chance to show Rangers and the fans what I can do." I just wondered, Craig, whether they could do something with him, could they come to some sort of if there is a contractual clause that means he's going to get extra money after another game. Can you not speak to him about it? I mean, he seems to want to stay. Would they not be better trained to use him? Absolutely. I totally agree. It's something that I've kind of pushed a little bit because Hadji hasn't, at any stage, said that he wants to leave the football club. At this moment in time, I still believe that he actually improves the starting 11-handy, which makes it even more of a mystery as to why that conversation maybe, again, maybe it has taken place behind closed doors. But yes, Hadji could be still an option. It ranges in my opinion. Listen, the lines are open. O8, O8, 17, 17, 700. Quite a night tonight, isn't it? I'm looking at both of you. Everything. We've got Commander Connection, Cellout Crowd. I think at Rugby Park, don't stay away. That should be. I know there are two goals down to Copenhagen, but they're Champions League team in town. So what a game tonight. I know it's tough. I'm going to ask both of you about it shortly. And then over in Edinburgh, heart's just a goal behind against Piedelizan. So let's see what's going to happen. Lauren Shanklin, though. Apparently, maybe not going to make it not sure yet. See, Bobby McCrory, a doubt for Comannock and Captain as well. Kelva Cell, a doubt we don't know for sure. Andi can ask you about Lewis Palma, a sea Celtic, apparently, knocked back in the approach from a Bundesliga club and from League 1, or League 1, as everyone likes to say, for Palma? Yeah, well, that's our position. We're at Binder Nojas, likes to have a number of options. He's obviously James Forest has come into the team recently, certainly towards end of last season. They really will start the this season in the same sort of fashion, but you need some options. You would think Mikey Johnson will be away at some point before this window closes, because he's made such a good reputation for himself down south. And yeah, it's just one of those positions that you just want to have options. And I think he's got good ability. I like Lewis Palma. I think he's a good player. I think when you look at maybe minutes played and his contribution goals assist, I think Lewis Palma is a good player. Celtic have always been fortunate in the last few years, in particular, I think with those those kind of wider players and having the options where they can mix a match a little bit. But yeah, Lewis Palma, I think, is a very good player. Brian's been on from Donegal, saying Scott McTomary would have been brilliant for his team, his team being Celtic. But I guess the money he's on it manulated. And he's now in Naples for his Napoli medical today. Jigsaw, good move for him. Top move. Yeah, top move. And again, we've seen it. We've seen it recently. Lewis Ferguson, I think it was Hickey before then. Yeah. Josh Doolies out there. You know, it's kind of opened the door for fellow for other Scottish players to go out there and do well and look, McTomary is an unbelievable athlete. And I think he'll actually go to Napoli and learn a lot more about himself and tactically about the game. Yeah, and it seemed as though Billy Gilmer was going to go there as well. But given now that Matt O'Reilly's injury is pretty serious, obviously, when you need surgery, he's going to be out for certainly a good few months. Billy Gilmer won't go to Napoli. They'll want to keep Brian and want to keep him and have him as an option in the middle of the park. He's got great ability himself. Andy, what about that tackle? The manager of Brighton was pretty much outraged. I mean, I watched it at the time, then I heard him yesterday morning. We now know there's going to be an operation for Matt O'Reilly. It's such a shame. It's a great pity. I mean, only a few minutes into his debut on New Club and the fact that he's going to be out for some time. And just a big surprise that the referee was so close to it and didn't really take the appropriate action. And you got an apology from the opposing manager, but it doesn't really help. It was a really poor challenge that should have been punished. Great. Yeah, no, it was a poor challenge. It was kind of a hope and pull that, you know, O'Reilly was going to be lucky and it was just going to be a contact kind of injury. But unfortunately, the bad news is that he will have done to go surgery on his ankle. And from such a high to get that move and to start to now this situation, I really feel for the player, but it was a bad tackle. You know, who's in town today? Martin and Neil and Graham Sunnis, they're together for they were promoting the game at the weekend, William Hill organizing it. Of course, it's the William Hill premiership that everyone's in now. They were some news. They're both, well, we never sit manager in the case of Martin and Neil. What player is well at Nottingham and Graham Sunnis? I played against Graham. When he was in his early days at Rangers and he played in my first experience of the old firm. And it just goes to show Paul Graham Sunnis who's got, I think, about three European Cup medals, Champions League medals, all that experience with Scotland and Liverpool. And he lost the rag. He gets sent off. And this is what that game can do to the very best of individuals. Well, let's start with Graham Sunnis. Then he was asked, what do Rangers need to win this game at Celtic on Sunday? What do they need to do? I think, you know, Celtic will come after you. Celtic will start on fire, especially at Parkhead. You've got to, you know, you've got to make sure you start right. That's everyone taking part in the defensive duties, but still carry a threat. You know, you can go there and think you're going to park the bus for 90 minutes. That just would not work. So you have to come up with a system of giving nothing away early on. Hopefully not getting anyone booked early on, because that puts those players under pressure. Keep a clean streak for as long as you can, carry a threat and then ultimately open up and create something and score goals. That's I'm describing any big game of football, not just a game of Parkhead. Great. You know him well, did you agree? No, absolutely. I look, you know, Graham knows his football, he knows what he's talking about there. And I think his message is really clear there. And I think Rangers best opportunity, and that's to be able to try and grow into the match pool. You know, you look at Celtics, games already this season. They're fast out of the traps. They're scoring goals in the first half, early in the first half and putting games out of reach early doors. So for Rangers, if they can nullify that and grow into the game, it will give them the best opportunity to get a result. Andy? Yeah, I mean, I'm really looking forward to the game. I'm looking forward to seeing how Celtic approach it. I wonder if you'll get a debut from angles, but I think just in general, there's a feeling of excitement that Celtic have finally done some business in the transfer market. I think some serious business. I'm not convinced that it's over now, just with the signing of angles, obviously he attracts all the headlines with that type of fee. But I think a lot of Celtic supporters, there may be one of their main priorities was a centre-back, just in case Carter Vickers or Liam Scales were to get injured. Alex Vai, of course, is here. He trained today. You see him there in the paper, looking forward to seeing him. He could be in the squad. He could play this weekend. Yeah, he comes with that tag of being a Barcelona player, which makes you think he's some sort of wonder kid. But right now, Greg Taylor is your undisputed number one left back. He's seen a few players off in his time, and this guy is young. You'll obviously get an opportunity to play. You need to play better than Greg Taylor to get that jersey. Let's hear it from Martin and Neil then. A reporter Jay Blakeway was there doing a great job. Jay, you spoke with Graham Sunnis, and you had a question for Martin and Neil up about the gap between Celtic and Rangers. The game on Sunday could actually go either way. But you're talking about the bigger picture over a whole season, and Celtic are definitely much stronger than Rangers. I don't think Rangers are strong at all, and I don't think that they have the quality of player at their disposal in too many positions that would warrant a whole season unless they bring some people in, and apparently from a distance, it seems as if they have to get players off their books. So that's even more worrying if you're the manager. But at this minute, again, I'm talking about over a whole season. So Rangers could go and maybe get a pull off a result on Sunday, and think things are rosy. But over the whole season, if the two sides remain as they are at this minute, you would think that I don't think that Rangers are strong enough to go away from home and not only guarantees winning football matches, but are absolutely cast iron to win somewhere. Andy Walker? Yes, you've got your grave in Martin. I can't make a case for Rangers to push Celtic all the way for this title this season. I don't know about you, Craig, but I see Celtic flexing at last flexing or financial muscle getting some players in. I think they could do another couple, and I think just the quality of player. I know that they've lost a big player. Their best player from last season was Matt Riley. He's not here, and everyone will look to on the angles and see what he will come up with. But just in general, I think the quality of player that Celtic have, I think it outweighs what Rangers have in their squad. Yeah, I'd look again. I think both Graham and Martin speak a lot of sense. Over the course of the season, I think there's even a lot of Rangers supporters that think that Celtic are going to be too strong over the course of the season. But I'm saying a one-off match, the first-old firm match of the season, a result wouldn't be beyond Rangers, Paul. It's just whether or not they can sustain that best way is by getting an opportunity and then seeing where you go with that. But I think that Celtic have done what maybe Rangers didn't do a few seasons ago after winning the league, which is spending and strengthening, although it's come a little bit late for the liking for a lot of Celtic supporters. But you have to always improve, and Celtic is starting to do that now at the back end of this window. He said there, Martin, he'll say that. I don't think Rangers are strong at all. Would that give you, you don't need more motivation? Would that affect the Rangers squad at the moment say, well, we'll show the former Celtic manager? Well, look, it will hurt. But again, I think that's something that they will know within in terms of the performances and the consistency hasn't been at the standard that's good enough to win trophies. And Philip Glone might say to the recruitment department, we really need players in. And they do. It's a vital, what have we got 30 hours before that window shuts to more than 11.30. We're going to take a break because the draw is starting very soon. I see Ronaldo's there. He could be up against him in less than a fortnight's time. Andy Walker's here. So too is Craig Moore. The draw for the Champions League is coming next. This is the good radio football show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. Let's go. Let's go. Well, there's so much to come, isn't there? What three days to go to the all-firm derby Celtic Rangers? 12.30 on Sunday. Transfer window closes tomorrow night. What's that? Have past 11 tomorrow night? That's 30 hours away and counting. Champions League draw moments away. The Europa League draw tomorrow evening. And it's going to be a similar format. And then the conference league where you'll play six games, but you'll play eight as you will on the Champions League. And Craig and Andy here. Andy, we were chatting about it during the week. Who would you like to see your old club coming up against? Is there other one or two names? Because you could have two really big teams, couldn't there? In the eight games that Chelsea are going to play? Yeah, I think when you're in Port One, I mean, the absolute quality is Real Madrid. I'm not sure Celtic would get anything against them, but could they get anything against the likes of Dortmund? They would certainly love to go to that stadium, Leipzig. All of these teams are absolute quality. And even when you go to Port Two, with the likes of Arsenal in there and Atlético Madrid to Celtic have played in recent years. But maybe Bruce shacked on the Nets. It's just an exciting time. And I'm sure there's so many Celtic supporters waiting to pick one of the games for a bit of travel and get on a skate-scan and get your fleet booked. Exactly, as you can before the stream, like an Oasis gig. Yeah, exactly. Craig, so so many huge names there as well as you go right down into Celtic and Port Three as you know. Even in Port Four Monaco, for example, Aston Villa. Again, I think Celtic supporters want to see a little bit of a mix and match here, like so they want to be able to travel to the nice places and teams with great history. Aston Villa would be a fantastic one. I mean, obviously with John McGinn and that kind of stuff. So that would make it interesting. But look, they're going to be tough matches and it's going to be a great experience. And I'm really interested to see how this new format actually plays out, how it works. And hopefully this is exciting as what the recent Champion League setup has been. Looking forward to it. Martin O'Neill was asked today at the preview with William Hill for the game at the weekend. He was asked about Celtic and his hopes for them in the Champions League. That would be lovely. And I think that would be the ambition again. That would be great. First of all, they're in it. That's the most important thing. And also, they didn't have to play a qualifying game. You know, Rangers got knocked out there. But so those things are important. So at least you know you can actually plan for something coming in. I know you're losing your players, but I'm talking about the overall picture. And you can actually plan for that. And that's great to know. I know my day way back, you know, forever the coefficient was beforehand. We had some qualifying matches to play to get there. So those are always difficult. So, but Celtic can plan for it now because they're in. They've got these games that's revamped, as you say. And they'd be looking to do better than the last year for a start and the last couple of years I must admit. So results in European football would be something that all Celtic fans would be wanting to be improved. This year we're Dandy. What's happening at the moment in the draw? You're in charge? Yeah, you've just seen a lot of action from the put one side here, getting some of the highlights. They're a new nest, scoring for Liverpool. We saw Val Verde in Vanishes Jr. at Real Madrid. I mean, the quality, we're bailing them. Bruce, your Dortmund there. What an opportunity to go to a fabulous stadium. I was lucky enough to play there with Celtic. We beat them in Glasgow, but lost over there when it was a two-legged affair. But these are great ties. Whoever you draw, they had great ties. And I think this league set up will work well. You'll play obviously four games at home, four away, and it's a league set up. There's no groups now. They're just pots of teams. Who's there in the auditorium, Andy? What's the scene? I see the presenter. All the fat cats and the others you would expect. Yeah. And just a couple of great former players as well. Yeah, you had there in Aldo earlier on, who was our special guest. I think he's the old team top scorer in the Champions League. I mean, it's almost as if a Champions League is only from when it was set up. And what was it? The early 90s. But yeah, European Cup Champions League, it's the best trophy. Greg Buffon. What a goalkeeper. What a career he had. So he's up on the mindset as well. That's big Buffon, the keeper in the left there. So I think they're getting close to it. It's the goal radio football show live from wherever the draw is coming from via the Champions League site. They're Israel Madrid, Man City, Bayern, Munich, Paris, Liverpool, Inter, Dortmund, Leipzig, and Barcelona. Port 1. So we're going to take some calls as well, but we'll bring you the draw. We're not quite sure how long it'll take. So Buffon gets it. There's no chance of him dropping it. And the first one. The first one out is Man City. Man City, wow. The winners in 2023 of the tournament. Many feel they should have gone further. You know, I can't go any further. I'm winning it, but they should have. They went out earlier last season. So as Ronaldo... I think when you press the button here as Ronaldo, well, I think you'll just see all their opponents. And there they are. All right. And then Milan. Nice. A Paris Saint-Germain club bruge event. Or is this? No. That's the home in a wide home in a wide home in a wide game. So Slovin Bratislava, Sparta Prags. UV. Sporten Lisbon, Fineard, UV, club bruge, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter. So that's how quickly the draw can be made. Don't touch the dial. If there is still such a thing as a dial, this is coming up pretty soon. The goal radio football show as... No doubt. We'll see the Celtic contingent shortly. So Man City and Inter, I think, are the two out of the same port, if you like. And then, obviously, you've got the other ones. It's a bit like the decks. Oh, this one, they're opening. Opening the ball there, Andy, aren't they? Before. Yeah. It's just to get all the port one teams can only have one other port one side and they'll take it from there. That Inter Milan coming out there. The second team coming out, yeah. So we will just watch and keep you right up to date. I just saw there on the wires, Ben Dokes. There are Ben Dokes. The seven offers in for him from the Premier League and Championship clubs in England to get him on loan. The former Celtic youngster who isn't been Scotland squads as well. And he is in this Scotland squad for the games coming in the next 12 days or so. So Man City playing Inter Milan, PSG, and UV, as you mentioned. And feel free to jump in if there's any more news coming in there from the Champions League draw. Other headlines today. Celtic have agreed they're in total agreement with the Bundesliga side Augsburg for Arnie Engels, the midfielder, 20 years old and it's 11 million pounds. Biggest ever. Alex Vayet is here. He trained with Celtic today, the left back. Could well be in the squad for the weekend. And a few others could be on the way. Over at Rangers. Todd Cantwell, the deal's not done yet. But you think it would be surely the well-dude deal. I think I think Paul with the camel situation, I think all parties are very keen to try and get business done. So yeah, the clock is ticking. The lack of sleep for everybody involved. But I'm sure he will find an exit over the next 30 odd hours. In Rangers Transfer News, other news from Rangers Nedim Bajrami. Well, there are talks going on with him. Fiorentina, his home club. He's been alone from Suswolo. So what do you reckon could be alone? Again, these are the most, I guess, common deals at this moment in time. Four rangers, Paul, just because of the situation. It's not an ideal situation, because again, these players feel like a lot will be looking to come into the side and more importantly, strengthen the starting 11. So it's a big pressure. The big pressure in these players need to come and hit the ground running if indeed they do come in. Andy Walker, what's happening at the draw at the moment? Yeah, you're just waiting for, I mean, they're drawing out the top seat. And then Ronaldo presses the magic button and the fixtures come out. So Buffon has drawn the latest one, which is RB Leipzig. And they're obviously up. So you can see now they're playing Inter away. And then you'll see some other Celtics in that one are getting Liverpool, Athletic Homodid, Sport and Lisbon, and Celtic, and Aston Villa, Stern-Gra. So Leipzig up against Celtic away. So Celtic are at home to Leipzig. That's one of their games. Is that them become put on their group, Andy? No. No, there's no groups. It's a lead game by goal. Yeah. So Celtic be Leipzig though. Celtic be Leipzig. That is one of their fixtures. No. Easy ties. And that was a way. I believe that was an away tie. That's a way. OK. Yeah. It was an away tie for who? For Celtic if it was for Inter. No, it was Leipzig were away. They were away. Celtic at home to RB Leipzig. Andy's keeping his right. It's good, Andy. It's just that. Yeah, well done. You think that it'll be more attractive, this league set for your, you're not playing home in a way against the same team. You've got four home ties. You've got four away. For me personally, there's Britishia Dortmund, who are home against Celtic. So that's a brilliant travel for the Celtic fans. The stadium you've played in, it's a magnificent stadium. Britishia Dortmund versus Celtic. So that's two of Celtic's eight. That's not Andy. So Celtic Leipzig, Britishia Dortmund, Celtic. And of course, that's where Mudder was there, wasn't he? Right on the cloud. Right. So just let Andy work there. Yeah, I'm writing this to Germany. Yep, it's the Goradio football show with Andy Walker, keeping us absolutely right and on it. Oh, it's 17, 17, 700, but we won't take calls just now. But we will afterwards, you could send a voice note, Celtic fans, what are you thinking? I mean, go on the socials. Dormans, brilliant, isn't it? What stadium, isn't it? It's so high, the bank you're forced to. I hear a wall that they talk about. It's just magnificent. It sure is. I wonder who Barcelona will create. Of course, Celtic have got a good record of playing them. Haven't for a couple of years now. But in fact, Celtic fans were saying we don't want Barsa again, but it's a great relationship between the two clubs. It certainly has been as we wait to see who Barsa are drawing. Well, they're biggest one. They've also got a Dortmunder at home to Barcelona. Barcelona at home to Bayern Munich. They've got some great games. They're the main ones for Barcelona. You're asking as well there about the league situation and I'm actually quite excited about it. Yeah, as a football lover, it's nice to see the different kind of game scenarios. The only thing is if you get the huge names and they're away from home, although Celtic fans will travel in big numbers as we drain just fans, but there's nothing like a big night at Celtic part bringing them here. Here's the holders, Real Madrid. Stand by. I mean, for them to be at home to Brussia Dortmund, that's a fabulous time. And they've got Liverpool away, Milan at home at Atlanta, Sokesberg, Leo Stuttgart and Brest. So that's what Real Madrid have. That's what Real Madrid have. Their four home games are Dortmund, Milan, Sokesberg and Stuttgart. One day, Arne Schlot is feeling about that, they're not against Real Madrid. Obviously Liverpool at home, Real Madrid. That's a brilliant tie. Tickets, Andy. You owe for tickets for us on that one. Because I saw you there at Barrow the other night and Skye on there, he is a young Andy Walker. Spoke to Stephen Clemens, the Barrow manager. I was in the game and he was looking for a big tie. You know, obviously he was home to draw Tottenham, he's old club, but they got Chelsea. So that's a big money-maker for them. Sure is. The Gordio football show, Paul Cooney. Well, not Andy Walker, hosting this part very well, Craig Moore and myself are contributing. I'm fascinated by the draw. That's great, isn't it? Celtic up against Leipzig, Arby Leipzig and Brussia Dortmund against Celtic. So it's Germany all the way for Celtic so far. I mean, it looks as though Paris and German and Liverpool will be Celtic's opponents, whether they're home or away, you would think there was always going to be in the cards that Celtic would get one English team given that they were, you know, they were split in the room. So Liverpool have got Real Madrid at home. Wow, that's going to be some game, isn't it? 60, whatever it is there. Nearly 70,000 now, isn't it? At Anfield, which is not a magnificent game. Not a bad cluster of games for Liverpool, actually. Yep, Bologna, of course, Bologna as well. Yeah. Yep, loose Ferguson. He won't be back, I don't think. No, he's back in training. So that was the news last week. Bologna, of course, he's midfielder of the year and said he are. Where are we now? Paris. Paris, how do you say your man? Yes, the last one. It's all happening there, the Paralympics underway. Good luck to everyone at the Paralympics. The Fackies are there, Neil and his wife, who've done brilliantly for Scotland and for Britain. Over the years, he's done the Kilt Walk, absolutely brilliant couple, Andy, the great people. So they're over there, as Andy keeps us right on what's happening, as Craig has done. You're all over, Andy? Yeah, I still know. I mean, Paris and German, I've got Man City at home, athletic of Madrid at home, Arsenal, really. Arsenal, well, that's a built-up. What a group of fixtures, Paris and German, I've got. Sure have. Yeah, up against Arsenal. Many, the favourites too, if anyone can challenge Man City this season, it could be them. Me can't get it. You're all team mates, yeah? There's only two teams, you think, again, Paul? In terms of that coming in the Premier League? Or do you think it stretches a little bit further than Arsenal and Man City? Arsenal would say, I can't see anyone else challenging for the title. Liverpool? No. Just in his first season on the slot, you just think it'll take. I know they're saying, "Kee, is it?" Great signing, do you like it, Mandy? Yeah, I think he's exciting. He's very attack-minded. You've seen some clips of him and the Italian national team, obviously, with the euros a few years ago, but they used to be the absolute top jawer boys. But you feel as though they're just coming back now, one or two, the players making their way into the Premier League? Go Radio Football Show 22-6. Don't want to go to the break just yet, James. Just because any moment now, Celtic, could come out. We will take a break, but you'll miss nothing. What's coming up now, Mandy? Well, we're now going into Speerland, 0.2, where the likes of Leverkuzen and Athletico Madrid, Atalanta, Uve Benfica, Arsenal. So, I think you've got two fixtures. Celtic are at home to Leipzig, I think, and they're a way to Dortmund, and you're just waiting on the other two. I've got that already. I'm sure you have, I'm not sure where that is. I'll come back to that in a second or two. A Comannock in action tonight, if you're heading to the game there, and also Hartz at home to Pleasant, it's going to be difficult. Very tough. Which one do you fancy? Well, it could be both. Yeah, I mean, obviously we'd love to see both. Like goals, unfortunately, in the first leg, Zandie. Wasn't it? Yeah. Hartz had probably got the best chance to try and turn the result around, I think, Paul. I saw the help of the weekend against Motherwell. Really impressed with the way Motherwell approached the game. Young Watson played really well, and the sub who come on Tom Sparrow, the young Welshman. Scott. He got the last goal. Lennon Miller, who's celebrated his 18th birthday on that day. Good plan. Yeah, good plan. He played really well in the middle of the park. So, just in. I was looking at Lauren Shanklin quite closely, I don't know, he just, he wasn't sharp. I thought he looked sluggish. I don't know whether all the speculation has affected him, but he certainly wasn't at his best. Because that can happen. We are going to take a quick break. You'll miss nothing. It's part two, Celtic will be in part three. This is the gold radio football show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcasts. Let's go. Let's go. Champions League draw. We know it's Celtic against Leipzig. They watch it against Celtic and Andy the latest. Yeah, Celtic will be at home to Club Rouge. So, Celtic too, home fixture so far. And against Leipzig, against Club Rouge. There are way ones. Dortmund against Celtic and Atalanta from Italy against Celtic, who are the, they were the UEFA couple of... winners. Yep, big win for them. So, Atalanta against Celtic could have been matarelli if they'd got their man. It wasn't to be. And Club Rouge against Celtic. Good travel. There's nowhere too difficult there at all. Yeah, absolutely. Craig? Yeah, so far, Paul, it's a nice draw. As you say, travel in terms of good destinations, not too far away. And teams that Celtic will think that they've certainly got a good opportunity. So, yeah, we'll see what the final fixtures are coming through. Don't delay. Book today, as well. Departed. Jim Dawer would have said that was his. Don't delay book today. Mark will be listening, Stephen as well, and Kieran. And good luck to Mary, who do we up the other day? But Mary, I hear you're doing well, so that's good. So, Andy, you're watching there. But you're on Sky Scanner getting some flights. Getting the private jet ready. Yep, Celtic Leipzig. Yeah. Dortmund against Celtic. Well, they've drawn it to a Port 1 teams. Leipzig are in Port 1, Dortmund are in Port 1. And Atalanta are in Port 2. And so are a Club Rouge. So, you know, from the top two ports, obviously, you know, Leipzig and Dortmund are going to be tough. But you're now getting down to a Celtic will play. They'll draw another team from their port. And then they'll have two from Port 4. So, it's really exciting stuff. Did I just see a derby there for Alan McAnally? Aston Villa against Bayern Munich. Brilliant. He will love that. He will absolutely love it. Former Celtic player, of course, who went to Villa. They played Germany, didn't he? No, he never talks about it. I used to work with him in Scottsport, Big Island. Cracking Big Guy. Remember, it's once going from trying to get up to Dundee for a programme. And, yeah. He is a great company. He is, isn't he? It's only last year with a game of golf and fabulous. Who won? Did you win? Yeah, I won. Yeah, took the money. Yeah. Wasn't money. It was lunch. Of course. Easy. I liked it. Yeah. Just waiting for the next ones coming in. So, but you both like the sound of that. Some people say, "Oh, it's, you know, if I'm making more money with eight fixtures." Well, it's going to be a tall order to finish in the top eight. Obviously, they go through to the next round. I think what you want, can Celtic be in that group of, you know, when the league from places nine to twenty-four, that would get you the opportunity to have a two-legged affair to get into the last 16. Because the ones below twenty-four, they drop out of it. And there's no fall into the Europa League or any other competition. So, yeah, it's, that's where you want them to be. And it just depends, Paul, in terms of what it says, in terms of what the fans are looking for from the actual draw. So, the reality is, Celtic have avoided, you know, Real Madrid, Man City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich in terms of that port one, with those two games with Dortmund and Leipzig. So, they're good games and good opportunity for Celtic. Big draw tomorrow for you, Craig, and four thousands of Rangers fans listening. Because look at Man United, they're in there, for example. Roma are there, we talked about it last night. Venerbacci, Athletic Club, Bilbao, and more. And we're not sure exactly what time it is, but yeah, again, I've been exciting time for Rangers to see potentially what is possible for, for their European adventure. Tottenham as well, you could be reunited with them. That'd be a good one. Yeah, that'd be a real good one, yeah. You were the first one to mark our card. You were in the studio here when we were all waiting for Eddie, how, and suddenly, no, it didn't happen. Remember that we were, everyone was waiting, and then it was Anjaposto Koglu, and you were the first person to know him. That was my debut, but I was away. I was actually down in London at the time, when I think of yourself and Barry, give me a call. That's right. I'm talking about Anjaposto Koglu, what a job he's done. Yeah, always just claim the glory, don't do no. It's just that, yes, yes, I was, I exclusively revealed everything about Anjaposto, you'd played for him, and then I said, you got on with him. Not very long. He said, yeah, he let me go. Yeah, it reminds me, but I met him in the early part of last season, he came over and had a chat, and he said, "Did you miss that one?" And he was saying, he was saying, "Yeah, I was speaking to a part of yours." Recently, you know, Craig Moore, he said, "Oh, right, I haven't seen him in a long time." He said, "I haven't seen him in a long time." And then after a couple of things, he said, "But no long enough." Wicked sense of humor. Yeah, he's a good value, like I said, I mean, he's done a wonderful job, and I tell you what, Spurs, when the start, they get their goals. They're a very dangerous team. Yeah, for sure. They absolutely battered everything. And I'm doing the ever and game this weekend, Craig. They're playing bone with it at home, so we can do it with my old friend, Ian Crocker, we're doing that game. Oh, brilliant, yeah, so we'll see that on Skye. Yeah, just a much choice. If you were an ever and fine, you could tune in and watch it the way that, and then the highlights will be on that night. For sure, give our best to Ian Crocker. Is that a good weekend? No, it's not, isn't it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. For the Celtic Rangers game in the Sunday. So, busy weekend. It's probably some weekend. Then later on, man united against Liverpool. So, that's the biggest army in England, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah. I know, I know it's different cities, but... Depends who you ask, sure. I guess, right? Depends on brilliant fixture. And I must say, I fancy, I fancy Liverpool to do it with whole travel. Certainly a big favourites, but man united, I mean... I mean, losing it, Brian. I know, last, last minute. I know, Brian. Absolute killer. Yeah. A man you and I are going to half and puff again this season. Well, if they do, they won't, I don't think they'll wait around to make a change. He has to be in and around the top four for the majority of the season. You can't go on losing games like that if you're a man united manager. If you're just shooting in, it's Paul Cooney with Andy Walker and Craig Moore on the evening of the Champions League. Draw, Celtic are at home to Leipzig, a way to Borussia Dortmund, a way to Atalanta in Italy, and in Belgium club Rouge against Celtic. So just waiting for the next ones to come. Buffong's there, that great goalkeeper who seemed to play forever, didn't he? I didn't know, one of those earlier qualifiers for Palmer in the Champions League qualify. Martin was talking about the qualifications that you had to take to get to the Champions League. That was one of our games, Paul Buffong. He played forever. What a goalkeeper. What a keeper. And Ronaldo, who of course, he's still eligible to play for Portugal and we play them in what first week of simplified to some 10 days or so. Yeah, next Thursday we've got Scotland in action against Poland. We're just seeing on the Champions League there, you see Celtic for the first time. Really, I think Andy there. I think we're sort of a coyogo goal. Well this is the third three clubs. And obviously, if Celtic were to be drawn out now, you would immediately get those four games that have already been allocated to them. Two teams out of port one, two obviously and a pod two teams Atalanta and club Rouge. And so far it's, I mean, it's easy travel for the supporters. You know, going away to Germany, Italy, Dortmund and Atalanta. The two games at home, you'll, I think Celtic sure, these are good fixtures. Yeah, very certainly are. Some tasty ties coming up in the Champions League 2024, 2025. So we're just waiting to see where Celtic are going to be. Fine, old sporting PSV. Well, Celtic have got a young boy, so Celtic had a home to young boys of Switzerland. Young boys of Bern, wasn't it? Yeah. So Celtic at home to young boys. They're at home as well to Leipzig. So how many games are we? One, two, three, four, five games in the Champions League. As we... I mean, as our port three side, we can sell it against young boys. Fabers? Yes. No, well, yes. They're in the same, they're pitched at the same level. They're both out of port three. So, you know, that's one that you would certainly be... It's certainly a home tie. Celtic against young boys, you would... That's one you would target to get all three points. Greg, I heard you saying yes. Yes, yeah, again, I think, you know, in no disrespect to young boys and their league, but again, these are, you know, that is a particular game that I think at home that Celtic should be too strong. Yeah. So three home games so far, home to Leipzig, home to Club Rouge, and home to young boys, and just the two away at the moment, Dortmund and Atalanta. Who else could they get at home, Andy? I don't want to ask you too many difficult ones. Could there still be...? Well, the ones in... in... in port four. When you get to the likes of, you know, Bologna and Gerona Stugar, it's a big one. Villa? Monaco's a... Mona, there's another one. Mm-hmm. So, yeah, it's very exciting. If it's Bologna, it could be Lewis Ferguson. I know I mentioned a bit of a gay back training. Barry Tolders, yesterday, my goodness. And Scotland want him as well now, don't we? Your sense with, you know, the time at the moment to talk about the Scotland squad, but I do want to ask you both in the second hour of the programme, what you think of Scotland. There's a couple of surprises with Rangold being called up, and yeah, times are changing. Not a surprise to us, Paul. No. You knew. Got Rangold. We've been talking about for ages. Whatever we have, yeah. I was surprised. And on that one, I know, you thought I would just climb that one, but it's not to be Liverpool going to play Real Madrid with a game. That's going to be former final, of course, not that long ago. Aston Villa playing Bayern Munich. So, John McGinnan. Stephen will be listening in just now and watching as well. He's brilliant. Also got Juventus as well. I mean, great ties for Villa, who are just so pleased to be back in the Champions League. You've won. The games they'll have will be fantastic. The old lady. Yep. As they call Uve. Who's that? So... GNK Dynamo. Because they're at home. OK. Celtic. OK. So, as I did in my zagreb. So, as I did in my zagreb. As I did in my zagreb. As I did in my zagreb. Yeah. Thank you. Form a club of Marc Maduca. Yeah. In the den of my zagreb. Yeah. So, G, K, N, Dynamo. Yeah. And Chelsea had a way to them. Yeah. So, that was going to come, wasn't it? And, you know, a bit of travel there. Selfie are over there playing in zagreb. So... The animals are agreb. Yeah. They beat Karabag last night. Two and another thing. Yeah. That's six down, Andy. Two to go. Yeah. In your format, James, I think. I hear you will keep it going just now. Because the news is, this is it. The Champions League. If there's anything major, then Louise will come in and tell us. And then we'll go to her for her update. After that, the Go Radio Football Show. And the seconder, tell us what you think Celtic fans. What are you feeling about this draw? Which is Celtic against Leipzig? Borussia Dortmund v Celtic. At Atlanta v Celtic. Club Bridge v Celtic. GKN Dynamo v Celtic. And Celtic at home to young boys of Bern. So, two to go. Tomorrow, we'll have Rangers as well. And will we have hearts? Will they be in? Well, let's hope so. Oh, they will. Let's hope so. Otherwise, to the Conference League. But they could do one goal in it. Surely. Yeah, again. Score early. Score early. You've got every chance. Absolutely. And Killie tonight as well. If they could get an early goal, you know, the game... You've always got a chance. It was just a sucker punch last week right at the end. It was, but I tell you what. Don't write Killie off, Paul. Because like you say, if they can get their noses in front of this game. Sorry. Yeah, sure. Celtic have been drawn out. So, you can see who they've got. You know, Dino Mazagreb. They've got Sloven, Bratislava. And Aston Villa away. So, that's John McGinn. Darby. This is what it could be. Silt. Yeah. No, Silta have got Aston Villa away. Fantastic. Aston Villa versus Celtic. There's a headline. Yeah, Aston Villa. The McGinn and Darby. Wow. What a kind that is. That's Alan McInally, Darby as well. He's got a few Darby's to do it. Sure has. Aston Villa V Celtic. And that's one. There's Jimmy on already. Celtic Fanwacy saying, "Yeah, beauty." Thank you, Jimmy. And for that one. Sloven Bratislava, who are in part four. Silta have got them at home. Great. Celtic versus Sloven Bratislava. All of the fixtures are in place, Silta. And by the way, that is a good run of gains for Silta. It really is. That could have been, I think Andy, that could have been so much harder. Yeah. Yeah. Andy, yeah. You happy overall? And we'll just scribe on you down here in the iPad. Just to outline again, the home game. Silta get at home to Abbey Leipzig. They're at home to Club Rouge. They're at home to Young Boys. And they're at home to Sloven Bratislava. They are a way to Dortmund. A way to Atalanta. A way to Dynamo Zagreb. And a way to Aston Villa. I mean, Aston Villa, out of part four. You'd think maybe Aston Villa are the strongest side there. And Unai Emery, his record in Europe is phenomenal. As we know, he'd love to do it. And it's the first time the Champions League proper. Obviously, they won the European Cup. And Andy and I probably think about it as the same tournament, continuing. Yeah. So that's all the fixtures. Absolutely marvelous. Yeah. Thank you. James, keeping us right up to date. Well, as Andy said, yeah, Leipzig against Celtic. Celtic against Leipzig. Dortmund against Celtic. Atalanta against Celtic. Club Bruj against Celtic. Celtic against Young Boys. GKN Dynamo against Celtic. Aston Villa against Celtic. And Celtic against Sloven Bratislava. And it's the one big poll. So everyone's obviously starting from scratch. And you're looking at these points. I mean, Celtic at home to Young Boys. At home to Bruj at home to Sloven Bratislava. I mean, they are games that you would think Celtic could take points from. Away from home and Celtic have struggled, obviously, away from home. You know, away to Villa, away to Zagreb, away to Dortmund, away to Atalanta. I think Celtic's fate. You're looking at, you need to win out of your, you know, out of your eight games. I mean, how many points is going to see you into, you know, that group of the first sort of 24 teams? All right, guys. Draw a breath. The news is coming next and then we're back. This is the Go Radio Football Show. Listen live weeknights from five on go. Let's go. This is the Go Radio Football Show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. Call, oh wait, oh wait, it's 17, 17, 700. Let's go. Well, you had there just before the news, the draw for the Champions League. So Celtic at home to RB Leipzig, Germany. Away to Brussey, Dortmund, of course, in Germany. Club Bruges are coming to Celtic. Celtic are going to Atalanta in Italy. They're at home, Celtic at home to young boys. Celtic are away in Croatia. They're playing G-N-K dynamo, bin Mozagreb, as was. They're at home to Slovan Bratislava. From Slovakia and they're away to England to Birmingham, to none other than Aston Villa. So it's going to be absolutely phenomenal. The Rangers draw will be tomorrow at 12 noon. So we'll bring it to you here on Go Radio. And then we'll be with Barry and Mark tomorrow evening, speaking about that. Andy, you've just a few moments there. Any news in? Have you spoken to Alan McInally yet? Of course, who's got some great ties there, given that he was Celtic, Aston Villa, and Baron Munich. Yeah, I text him just to say what a perfect draw for you. You buy a Munich, Celtic and Villa. And he said that it's really good. And he's doing a battle work at Villanue. Obviously, he's still doing a little bit on this guy, but he's a great company, the big man. And I think he's a perfect draw for him. That'll be really exciting. Scott McTominney is there in Naples at the moment. We've just seen the pictures on Skye. Craig, you were just saying there, June the News, how'd you assess this? Well, it's not a group, it's the league. The league, yeah. Celtic's league, what do you think? Well, one, it's a great, I think it's a great league for Celtic. The matches that they've got, Paul, I think that realistically, there's a really good opportunity to come away with some good points out of this league, which can put Celtic in a very, very strong position and the opportunity to progress. Shall we speak to a big Celtic fan? Kevin is on the line. Kevin, what's your first view? Good evening. What do you make of the draw? How are you doing, boys? Paul, I don't know if I picked you up. They're wrong. I thought we'd through Sloab and Brat Slava away. I'm pretty sure we played them away. I could be wrong there. They're written, didn't I think? I thought we were away. You said they were wrong. God, it's a home fixture. Is that home? Yes. See, be honest me, I don't think, I honestly don't think if you could hand-pick four bare home games, their way to eyes would take care of themselves. But the home games... Come on then, Kevin, give us your points, total, what it'll take to stay in the competition and not go out of the, you know, when once you've played the eight games. How many points does Celtic need to think? Listen, Andy, I think I've got a mathematical champion here, and I'm pretty sure he tried to work it out. If he said that he reckons you could finish 24th, we're eight on nine points. So something like that, but I think Celtic, I think we can win off all of those home games. I think the hardest home game is... That's like Leipzig. Yeah. And I think the last place to play them would beat them. So at home, so I think we could, I think that we could easily, I think we could, I think we could easily get nine points. Yeah, I don't think we could kind of get nine. Kevin, there's nothing easy about it, but I do take your point. I mean, home to Cadruch, you would expect three points there at home of young boys. You know, if you want to make progress, you're expecting three points. And maybe at home to sloven, but at a slaver, you're expecting another three. So there's nine out of, you know, the games that you've got, the four home, four away. I think the home form will determine whether Celtic is through or not. You like the set up, though, Kevin? I'll be a bit confused. Try doing it live, yeah. Well, this is you, Kevin. You get four home games, four away games. Yeah. Four away games. I took a screenshot, I was watching my phone, and they did, they draw for Aston Villa. Yeah. And all the teams came up, the Aston Villa could face, and I'm screenshotting, and I'm saying to my mates, saying, "Oh, no, maybe I got a single point here, 'cause I've read it wrong, because I do, we love it to everybody else, but I think, I think the draw has been, it's a realistically, no easily. I think realistically, we could get a bit nice point there. I think we may use some of the trick operators in the meeting, but I think that's healthy fun, you can see that in a minute. But I think the draw was great. Thank you. I mean, I had a few thinking all those more, well, teams that mean we've avoided them two midrids. Yeah. PSG, Liverpool, Manchester City. Oh, I'm up, so I'm up. So it wasn't that I think the big one for me is for Salty to be a Scotland Cloud and good in there, and so Aston Villa, that all Scottish teams on they had been in. You know what I mean? That's right. That's right from, yeah. I mean, good for us. Yeah. Kevin, thanks for that call. First call in from Kevin. Yeah, we remember that game, obviously, against Hibbs. So what one of us is going to fund Steven and get tickets for the game? Texting them already, as we go. But yeah, just to clarify, Kevin, it's Seltiger at home to Slovak and Brattis Verlava. So they're at home to Leipzig. And do you reckon that's the hardest home tie? Hardest home tie, because they're a team out of Port One. And I think Seltik's home form will determine whether they can continue in the tournament. I mean, you can't ask for much more to be at home, to bruge, albeit a port to side, but at home to bruge. And there, sometimes you want a result against a, let's say they're just a higher opponent because they're in a higher port. But home to young boys and at home to Brattis Verlava, who are out of Port Four, you can ask for a better chance, I don't think. A way to Borussia Dortmund. Craig, you played in the Bundesliga as well. It's one of the great stadium. Oh, it's a fantastic stadium. It really is a great atmosphere. Yeah, that's a really exciting game for Seltik. But I'm just looking at the fixtures that I'm thinking. It's a wonderful, really wonderful opportunity for Seltik. I agree with Kevin in terms of the home fixtures. There's no easy match. Don't get carried away. There's no easy match. But take Leipzig out the equation. The three other games, the home matches, are definitely winnable for Seltik. Away from home against Dinamo Zagreb, they will feel as if that's a real opportunity. And watching the draw, Paul, I've been in the situation where you're sitting watching a draw, seeing the games coming, all sorts of stuff. And Seltik players will be sitting there thinking, "We've got a right opportunity." There's no doubt about that. Yeah. And I am obviously drawn to, when you mentioned Dortmund, I'm joining a model of my club. I haven't played there, Paul Lambert. Yeah. Our champions are winner. He's a champions league winner, of course. So, and the fact that we had, when I played with Seltik, we had a home in our way. And we'd be them two, one in part, kid, but lost two now over the urban out. But just to play in that stadium, against a team in that quality, absolutely fantastic. And we know in Glasgow, we're good too, amazing. Teams at amazing stadiums, they come to eyebrows, Seltik Park, they're special nights. But obviously, Dortmund have been there twice, covering those games. It's one of the best ever, for sure. Yeah, looking forward to it. We'll get the dates, Andy. We've got all the dates yet. Listen, the radio is not the best place to give you dates, but people will be on now, to the travel agents trying to book up in big numbers. Tomorrow at 12 noon, it'll be Europa League. So, Rangers will be in there. And hopefully, hearts as well. We'll give you team news soon, for Comannock in action tonight, against FC Copenhagen. And it would be brilliant, if they could. There's maybe not a miracle, but it would need quite a performance, a bit of luck as well, because they were unlucky last week. And they've just not had a great run at all, in the league, as we know, at the start of this season. But Derek McKinnis, he's a wily fox, isn't he? That he is. But it would be a tremendous result, if he could get the result tonight, because there's also some injuries, I believe, to the kill squad. Yeah. Kelver Cell, that'd be a worry. You know, the captain, the goalkeeper as well. Robert McCurry, who's in the Scotland squad. And he started, well, I know it's been tough for him, but he's a top keeper, isn't he? He's a top goalkeeper, and he'll benefit hugely by the games that he's actually getting now. In the first hour, we opened them with the news that Celtic are in total agreement with the German side, Augsburg, for an £11 million deal, for Arne Engels, the Belgian midfielder, who's, what, 20 years old? That's a huge amount of money. Biggest ever for Celtic, £11 million. Yeah, and I think, after this excitement of the Champions League draw, after it will very quickly die down, because, Celty, I've got a huge game at the weekend, home to Rangers on Sunday. And when you think that they've lost the best player from last season, obviously, they have midfield area. You, I mean, Callum McGregor is a shoe, and of course, a Tati, you would expect him to be focused, despite that, you know, bid for his services, from a team in France. And then maybe Paulo Bernardo trying to, you know, make a name for himself as a regular starter in the middle of the park. And the chat will go to Rangers as well. A lot still, Rangers hope to happen between half your living. And now in half 11 tomorrow night, come to that in a second, Celtic set to seal the £5 million plus deal for Austin. Trustee, who Mandy saw last season. And look, my count, that hasn't gone away still on Celtic's radar, the Dundee captain. So it's interesting if your team buy, you know, from Barcelona. Yeah. Trustee is a, he's a left bike, like when I saw him play, he was a left wing bike. So that's two, I just wonder whether he could maybe play centre half as well. I'm not sure. That's a nasty idea. Because would that be the natural thing for you? Yeah, I think Celtic need to strengthen that area, just the centre bike department. They're a bit short, you know, Liger Bioka and Navrovsky. Those two just didn't work. Brendan Rogers didn't fancy them. And I would have thought that was a position that was really important to get another body in there. Someone were a bit of quality. It's still not a look Andy. Did you decide that Trustee, he wasn't the biggest? He's not a big, he's certainly not small. But, you know, he's not that. For a central defender, the double-up is a central defender. You still want that size? Yeah, but he certainly got a decent ability. And I think he would be a good scene. Bad news for St. Johnson, breaking news. Adama Sidibi, who got the double red card at the weekend, will saw it. The Gambian International striker has received four match bans. So, yeah, he lashed out then afterwards. Yeah, he said the red missed, and he's now got to pay the penalty. Well, I think the club will pay the penalty, because he's good, he's impressive. If he was making a difference, it will probably cost them points. It will cost them points. Never mind the games that he's going to miss, because he's so effective for them. That has been the one positions St. Johnson have been lacking over the last couple of years, you know, being in the relegation playoffs. And that result that they had against Comannock, I think he showed his quality then. He sure did. Yeah. We're going to hear a bit from, remember, Graham Sunnis and Martin O'Neill, who were speaking at the William Hill event today, against the backdrop of the game on Sunday. We're just three days away. And we'll be on live, of course, Craig. You're going to join me in this very studio on the John Hartson for the game on Sunday. Let's hear Graham Sunnis speaking. He was talking again about how Rangers need to approach this game. The players themselves, because last season, they didn't manage to beat selfie. I witnessed them playing two authoring games last year, and I saw players playing for the team. I'm sure we'll look back on last year and thought and think that they're in a position to go and win that league, and then they slipped up in games, which will be a major disappointment to them. So they have to get back on that horse, and dust themselves down and go again. And playing in all firm games is not easy. When I came back here and tried to play on them, although I started to do two jobs, I found them very difficult. You know, I go into power games as tough as it gets, but if you're going to win the league, these are games you have to turn up in. And now the manager's experience, he's had an experience of all firm, several all firm games. And the new players from last year have had that experience, so they should be richer for the experience. And they should be relishing the challenge. They will know the importance of this match and the bigger picture. And they will know the importance of this match and what it means to our supporters. They've got to turn up. Don't get 15, 20 minutes happening around to the game and wake up. For those of you who have to start writing, it's an old firm game. So I'm hoping that my team turn up that we can and do that. Greg, you know, now look, it's a game where we now can swing in certain ways. But I think the most important thing is for Rangers anyway, in terms of them going into this particular matches, individual battles, Paul. If you can come out and top in your individual battles and you look to your left and you look to your right and your mates coming out on top as well, it's going to give you the best opportunity. But I just think that it's the focus of not so much when Rangers are in possession. I think Celtic are a really quick slick counter transition type of team. If they need to be, concentration is going to be key. Who's going to be marking Calla McGregor? You know what, I would not be surprised. Again, we'll probably go into starting a level. Yeah, in terms of what we think. But I think, you know, someone like the midfield three, I think, will be Baron Sterling and Diamondi. So take your pick. That's kind of where I think that maybe the midfield battles will be between Celtic's, I think, pretty much speaks for itself as well, in terms of Hatati, McGregor and Bernardo. Of course, yeah, which is the new look. And would you reckon it would be Sterling of the three? If there was one, Tod Cantwell tried to, you know. Yeah, I don't think so. I don't think it would be Sterling, because I think Sterling's got great energy. He's a real competitor. But I think he could also give the back for good protection, Paul. So, you know, I think he will sit a little bit deeper, if he does play in the middle of heart. There was chats earlier in the week, Craig, as you know, that there might be American investment into Rangers. And I mean, just do need investment. Absolutely. Dave Kim came out right away and said, "No, not in my case anyway, not selling." And he praised John Bennett. He had criticism for some of the other directors from a few, anyway. Any word on this? Where did it come from? Good question. Good question, Paul. But again, I mean, I think I've spoken about it a couple of times on the show. Rangers are desperate for a new direction, in my opinion. You know, and that for me means new owners, new ownership. The gap, the financial gap between Rangers and Celtic is getting bigger and bigger. So, I know they've knocked it on the head, but someone needs to come in and range with deep pockets, I think, to try and give them a possibility to not let that gap get away, where you're talking then five, seven, eight years before you can turn that around. It's been badly managed for a number of years. They're losing, I mean, I hear Barry talking about all the time, 10 million every season, maybe even a bit more. Letting players go to the end of the contract, players that they could get millions of pounds for, maybe just 12 or 18 months before that. And as Craig has just said, the financial gap is enormous. And I think what we've had in the last hour or so is this level of anticipation and excitement for Celtic fans, Champions League fabulous. They'll very quickly turn their attention to Sunday. And it's one of those games where they don't just want to win, they want to win well. And that will be Celtic's goal at the weekend. It may well be a close game. I can't see it. Do you think my turn will play? Lawrence, Churney? I think Churney definitely plays. Yeah, it definitely plays. Matanda, if he's still there, I think definitely plays. But he might be away. He might be away. He might, he might, he might well be away. Do you like Churney Andy? Because the reader stands like him. Yes, he's a good player. He can make things happen. He's got a good ability. And no, it's just, it's hard to make a case for Rangers. There's no evidence that they can go to partcade in recent seasons and get a victory, certainly under a field. Come on, that's the big, that's the big hurdle he has to go over, put a team together that can come up with a big performance on a big occasion. It's a big occasion on Sunday. Celtic win, they're immediately five points in front of this very early stage. But just back on the ownership pool, like, so again, as a player, there comes a time and they did come a time for myself where, you pass it back on to someone else. It's now their turn to share and have good memories and hopefully success and all that sort of stuff. I actually think that Rangers are there in terms of the ownership. Because ready to pass on. I think it's the right time to pass back to someone else to be able to take the club financially, who's in a better position and has deeper pockets to be able to take the club forward. For sure. Everyone's so many people who are owed a bit of money, they've put money into the club, you obviously want it back. That's difficult sell to our potential investor. I'm saying for sure that it's obviously because the Crimson is on. I was going to play a little bit more, we're going to take a break. But he was speaking about, he said they need some football people involved in as well. But it's deeper than that, they do need more investment. We're also going to hear Martin O'Neill, he's speaking at the William Hill event with our reporter, Jay Blakeway. And he'll be speaking, what does success look like for Celtic this season? What are you looking to do? Quick break and then we're back. This is the Go Radio Football Show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. Let's go! This is Glasgow's own, the Go Radio Football Show. Craig Moore, Andy Walker, anchoring. Brilliantly, they're doing the Champions League. Craig, you and I would like to say we agree. It's a supporting role. Yeah, exactly. He used to present Scott Sports. So, him and that. Him and the big fella. They were great, they covered Champions League. That's right. Celtic not choose the Rangers and the Wends. They actually travel everywhere. That's the way, Arjeso, I'm out walking the other day. He's some man, isn't he? He's the legend. That is Arjeso. Arjeso, Mike First. We'll speak to somebody with the Champions League medal in the next few minutes. If the line works, if I've paid the bill. It's Champions League tonight, in the sense of the draw. And Andy, you've got that draw there. We know the story, but for those who are just tuning in, heading home from work. Yeah, well, just to say that Celtic's home games are against Leipzig, who were in Pot 1. Club Bruges, who were in Pot 2. Celtic at home to them as well. They're also at home to the Swiss side. Young boys of Bern, they were in Pot 3. And the other home game is against the Pot 4 side. Sloven Bratislava, they're a way to Dortmund from Pot 1. They're a way to Atalanta. In Italy, who were in Pot 2. Dina Mozagreb from Pot 3. And then a big one, the John McGinn-Darby at Pot 4, Aston Villa. Celtic, a nice wee check down in Birmingham. And that'll be a fabulous occasion. Craig, your reaction overall. I think it's a fantastic group of games for Celtic. And I think that this type of competition, home games are going to be really, really important. I think that those home games, Celtic, have got a great, great opportunity to come out and get 9-10 points, if not more. Let's hear from Martin and Neil. Not about this, because this was earlier today. The William Hill event promoting the William Hill tie at the weekend. It's the premiership, of course, sponsored by them. What does success look like for Celtic this season? That's what our reporter, Jay Blakeway, asked the legendary former Celtic manager. Well, Celtic would want to, obviously, want to cement their authority again. It's been going strongly for them for quite a number of seasons. And so, you don't take anything for granted. Obviously, domestically, they want to be the strongest side in Scotland. And that doesn't seem as if it changes on losing O'Reilly. It's definitely a blow to them, unless they get the replacements in. And I think, again, I'm sure that if you were having a conversation with Brendan, he would want a proper stab at Champions League football. Certainly will. And he knows the draw now. Martin was asked earlier today by Jay. What about Brendan Rogers, then? How does he assess the current manager? Well, he did great. I thought it was important for him. He came back here, left under the sort of circumstance that he did do, and wouldn't have been universally accepted by all the Celtic fans. So, he had to overcome that, and it probably was a bit of a concern early on. And the fans had been used to, you know, pasta cobbly for the last couple of seasons, where football was great, and they were completely dominating. But to go on and take the league, and take the league in the circumstance, which they did, that would be a great boost, not just for the club, but for the manager himself. And, as I said, his record is against Rangers. It's really fantastic. So, he'll be wanting to push on again. He'll be wanting to do well in European football, but in terms of coming back, and doing as well as he's done well done him. Andy has assessment about Brendan Rogers, and he's phrased it well, didn't he? And that, he has done well. Listen, he's given a lot of praise to Brendan Rogers, and that's what you would expect. I mean, I've got to say, Brendan Rogers can up against the current Rangers team. I mean, you think of Martin Hughes' challenges against Rangers when Craig was playing, and there was a bit more quality then. I think in both sides. But yeah, I think like everyone else who's got a connection to Celtic, he's looking forward to the game on Sunday. I think like everyone else, he's probably pretty confident that it's going to be a home win. And you've now got this excitement of the Champions League, and the prospects of whether Celtic can get a few victories on the European stage. That's what they're looking for before the years out. And for your old club, it's quite a dilemma just now, isn't it? Listen, it could change on Sunday. Although I heard Martin will say it's not about one game, of course it isn't. We'll come back to that in a moment or two. Someone that you played against as well. He's got a Champions League medal, former... Yeah, we can go on the line now. The former Celtic captain, who else? Paul Lambert joins us. Paul, good evening. Yeah, good, thank you. Thanks, Paul. Thanks for taking the call. How are you for tickets? We just want to check there. We just need just a couple of dozen for the Dortmund game. What did you think when you heard that? Sure, Paul, I'm just back. I was able to watch him against time for a weekend. And then, a few days, the club over there, which was great. And it's a brilliant tie. It really is a brilliant tie. That must be two sets of fans, it'll be brilliant. They'll be bouncing off each other because they've got the close link. And I think it's just a great, great game for them. How did you play the weekend? It was a really, really good. They were buying on it. That must be a really, really worth it for the first day of the season. I know that he's a new coach there. And some good players. And they were buying after his second half. It was very, very good. Yeah. Craig Mercier, so to Sandy Walker. And just looking at, Paul, I'm just drawn to some of the names of the squad when you think I'm Richard. And I didn't mean you. It's a bit so there. Gross, Julian Brand, Sully, Hallor. I mean, these names sort of roll off the tungus. There's a fair bit of quality. No wonder they're in Pop 1. Andy, how are you? No, look, I think the team is strong. I think the units of it, the freshness of it, is good. And obviously, the old team he was looking at said, the football side now. So Lars has taken over there. But you didn't get to see his join from Stuttgart. He was incredible last year for Stuttgart. So if you can take that form and either the league and the European team, then Pop 1, they'll be. But I feel like I'll take it a bit again. But I think they're a good side, actually, are looking at them. I think they're a good team. What about Leipzig? I mean, Celtic, I've got them at home. I take it when you look at their home games, Paul. Celtic at home to Leipzig, at home to Klobruz, at home to Youngboys, at home to Sloven-Brass-Lava. They maybe couldn't have asked for anything better. I know they're all difficult, but that's as good as it could be. I think every year, Andy, that every time Celtic is joined at home, people think that it's an easy tie. And all of a sudden results don't go for you. And the last few years, OK, they're lads of give it a good go. But ultimately, the points have been really true in the Champions League, the tongue. So I think, why do you go be tough? They're a very good side as well. Marco Rose has got them going really well. And they've added really well. The other one, Jay, you can see being a Celtic part. I think they've got a really good chance. And I give the clubs the right size, a bit of chance, all again beating every time. So I think the big guns, I expect the big guns to be there and there again. You've managed a villa, of course. And that's a big draw. That is for Celtic to go to Birmingham. How do you think that one will pan out? I never knew that. They've got villa, haven't they? They've got the villa. It's a dragon right. It's a dragon right, it's up for grabs. Breaking news. I'll tell you what, that'll be another thing going on in a game. Who I am, I think, got them going great. They look a very good side. But you know your sales, Celtic. Celtic, they're really unpredictable at times. But team can come up. But I think what a tie that is. Celtic final. The last bit of love and been down there. I'm sure I'm pretty sure they'll find nothing like that. Craig, you had some great battles with Paul over the years. Yeah, I really, really enjoyed the days back then. But Paul, see when we were talking about tickets. We weren't talking about the Dortmund match. We were talking about the villa match. And that should be a cracker. But bragging rights, as well, are up for grabs. Skoll of England. That's it, Craig. I think you're right with that. It's not just us in Celtic. The other thing is, yeah, the crossboard. The thing that people, in 2020, go away as well. But it's a great term ever. And in your format, I think it's going to be trial narrative, I think, if you have it really goes. But it gives, as I said, the four clubs at Celtic, who are in that club in the bracket of top European clubs, where it comes a little bit of better chance and what the last floor mark was. It was difficult. And Paul, for all the young listeners that we have, and many of them love listening and hearing to heroes, you know, you were the young live planets and marin playing a motherball, and you won a Champions League medal. You never stopped believing, and you did it. That was a pause there. It's great when I go back there. They make you feel that welcoming. And it's just a brilliant club to be associated with. And I met a lot of the guys at the final last year, they hadn't seen for years. And yeah, if you actually forget, I actually played with one of the class players, top, top, well-class young players. And it's great to see them again. And the club for anybody doesn't really know it. If they go over to watch Celtic and then Dotton, then at last, basically, it's going to be a brilliant. Are you going to the game on Sunday, Paul? What do you think is going to happen? I am going, do you know what? I'm just looking from a far-shelter, really fine at the minute, and maybe there's a terribly good result last week. They're all from Kegelter, in Andrew Terry. You never know what's going to come up. You just don't know. And you just wish your fans were back in from both sides, because I think that adds to the game. But it wasn't, on paper, Celtic has strong favourites. But though, from doesn't he walk like that, on the Celtic Rangers games, doesn't he walk like that? Is there anybody's game? But on the way Celtic are playing, all my advantage out, I would expect Celtic to win it. And Arnie Engels, the apparently total agreement between Celtic and Osberg, 11 million pounds is the fee. It's still to be announced, but it looks as though he's coming. What do you make of him? It's a big signing for Celtic for a 20-year-old. Yeah, we must have thought something, and then it could come and play. Osberg is not one of the leading problems in German. It's not a massive club, but you need to get used to the pressure that's Celtic, which a lot of people do crumble under, but Celtic must see something, and on that they can perform. We use the money that meant the pressure of voluntary to perform. So, but that's an interest to Celtic. You don't go there as a development player. You go there, you just run 12 million titles. So hopefully you settle and we're having to start to play well. I know you can talk about all your highlights at Celtic, and the Dortmund, Paul. I seem to remember you coming on as a young winger. I was playing for a mother ball. You come on as a sub-person mirror at third part, and you were this wee jinkey winger. And we wondered how far this wee jinkey winger would get in the game, but it's always good to see coaches who can see something in you and change your game. And I think, do you know what I think? I mean, I've been about six. Do you know that? - Three. - The reason I was a wanger - Three. The reason I was a wanger was probably three stone six. I think Alec Mueller, who was brilliant with me, put me there, but he gave me the debut, which is brilliant. And then it wasn't until later on, I started to move on. And I thought, "Oh, my hips are really kind of changing the whole dynamic." For me, he was the one that really changed the whole career, really my whole life, to be fair. And he was pro and he was a clever clever man. And to learn to come, to learn from the guys that I played like, "I always think you play me." "Play down when you play a good player." That's, I don't think that's a rocket science for that. You play a good player, the game becomes a lot more easier for you. Paul, maybe see you at the Radisson Red then over the weekend, if you are in town. - I'll be there, Paul. I'm on the way there, right? Oh, I'm on the way there, I'm just even here, am I? - Yeah. - Excellent. - Nice to speak to you, Paul. - Great, Paul, good to speak to you, Paul. - Thanks, Paul. - Thanks so much for taking the call. Great, it's brilliant, isn't it? We just called him there. Well done, James, got him on the line. - And he's had a gig at Villa where he was the manager. And, you know, Alec was there as well, of course. And he and Alec had done the whole thing. - Of course, exactly, the blues and the villa. - Which was a big thing. But, yeah, Paul's had the heights at Celtic, and Dortmund, managing the top plate and the family. - It was as well, wasn't it? - Yeah. - It was just humble though, isn't it? I mean, the Champions League winner. - Yeah. - And he's just such a humble guy, an amazing career. And he didn't let anybody down. He never let any supporters, any clubs he was at or any teams. - Let's hope, Kelly, and Hartch can do it tonight. - Oh, let's go. - So much in the show tonight, we gave you the Champions League draw. Come on, I can action against Copenhagen. Copenhagen, Craig Muir first with the Colmanic team for the game. - You're right, McCrory isn't starting. So, okay. Ahara's in goals, Borrow's right, Mayo Finley. And then you've got Donnelly, Lions, and Watkins in the middle of the park. They're midfield. Kennedy Armstrong in the wider areas. Vassil has proved himself fit, and he's starting up front. - That's good news, the captain will be playing. Andy, you mentioned it, I know it's going to be tough. - early goal, could make a difference? - Yeah, absolutely. It could, and you would hope that you could get an early goal. I do fear that it might be too much for them. I'll just get wind of the Hart's team, where Craig Gordon is the captain. But sadly, there's no way Lauren Shankman, that injury that he picked up at seeing him miss this game. And you do, I think you expect him to still be a Hart's player by the time this window closes. I know there's been so much speculation about him, but Liam Boyce comes in, Vargas is also there. Boyce and Vargas were on the bench at the weekend, so he has hoping Hart's can claw back that. Just that one goal deficit. - It's Gordon then, the captain, as you mentioned. Kent, Kingsley, Grant, and Devlin, Rawls, Boating, and Boyce, as you said, back in. Penn Rice, Vargas, and Taylor, like to look at Taylor, who has started well for them. - Yeah, very strong, very, very strong. But again, that threat shank on a huge miss. But Boyce, I'll tell you what, he's a player that does now add a score goals, and it takes up really good positions. You'll cause problems. - Oh, no, I'm good to actually. - You've got his underclark on the bench. - That's gonna ask you. - And Craig Gordon, who starts. And yet, his underclark is in the Scotland squad, but Craig Gordon doesn't, so. - It's a bit strange to do. - What's a save that's really made at the weekend against Mother Will Andy? You said you were at the game, what a save. Does he hit him or does he save it? - Well, I think that's a bit of boss, but credit to him, because he's made so many brilliant saves in his time. He just put it down to another one. He's positional play, it's so good. - Some of the players they have in the bench, as well as the Scotland goalkeeper, just Alan Forrest. For example, Blair Spittle, who came in the summer. - Oda, Oda was the one who come on and got a goal at Fort Park. But yeah, you're right. Forrest started the game at Fort Park, Danda started the game. Kawhi's on the bench there, as well. - Yeah, Craig, how about live with it again? - Well, they've got good options, but they just haven't started the season well. - Neil's been on just saying, Andy, if you've got a word for James Forrest, if he plays at the weekend, which he may well do, last year and a second or two, is 500th appearance. - Honestly, just total respect. I mean, we've got someone who comes in here often, Granty. I think he played just over 400 games, played for a good number of managers. I'm not sure how many managers, James Forrest, played under for Celtic, but he has stood the test of time. And I think the fact that he's not always been the fan's favourite, but he keeps coming back for more. He keeps, he's a top professional. And wouldn't be surprised if he gets on the pitch, whether he starts or comes on at the weekend, and it will be one or the other. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets on other goal. - Andy in summer for him really, isn't it? Because the fans, I really like him now. - Yeah, I think they appreciate just his longevity, his commitment, the fact that he's won so many trophies, so many medals, and he gives it everything. And I think these will be special times for James Forrest, because he knows that obviously the majority of career, or of his career is behind him, and he'll be really enjoying being part of the club again, getting games from the start and home to contribute a bit more. 23 major trophies on a level with the late, great Billy McNeil, of course, who had 800 appearances on for something. - Yeah, I think Billy stands alone when you're comparing those two, but absolutely magnificent to get to 500 appearances. - Isn't that phenomenal? - Unbelievable, 500 games at any club to do that, and have that kind of success is incredible. He's had a wonderful career, and as you're saying, he's at that stage now where every, he'll probably feel as if every game now is at that stage. I'm closer to finishing up, so he's just going to enjoy every moment. - And he's got the 100 goals, he's got the 100 assists. There's not many that can do that for Celtic. So again, all plug it's to him. - Elianusi is in town, in the town of Comarnock tonight as well, because he's been speaking about James Forrest. He was involved in the penalty last week. He will be there. Copenhagen, they're probably going to go through, or are they Craig, what would you say? - Well, Elianusi is starting tonight, so he has an opportunity to make an impact, but I still think Paul this game is wide open, if Kelly managed to get off to the right start, and if they can score that first goal, anything is possible. They're the underdogs, but I'm sure dead at McInnes will like that. - Huge crowd there tonight, good luck to Kelly, and to Hartz as well. We said we'd hear from Graham Sunnis. He was speaking about behind the scenes at Rangers, another football club, so where he feels maybe at board level does not enough, a football experience. Let's hear what you had to say today to our reporter, James. - This is not a criticism, and I made this point last year when I was talking to James Busgrove about getting involved. He needs some football people to help you in there. Now, I'm not talking about me because that boat was sealed for me, but I just like, and they're not alone. There's a lot of clubs down in England, big clubs with enormous budgets to work with that don't have enough football people around them. It's something that we seem to neglect, not just here in Scotland, but both in England as well, where we discard people who could do a job for their clubs in terms of offering advice in footballing matters, but we discard that in Germany, they use them all the time. Use the Explorers as a sounding board, and I think that's something that maybe we could look at in this country, and I don't just, it's not just Scotland, I'm saying that. I am a football person. It's been my life since I was 15 years old. And I felt a clue for something, but I say I'm not looking for a job now. I'm more than happy with what I do. My age, I'm trying to slow down, but it's not working for me so far. The phone's still rings, but I enjoy talking about the football. I enjoy watching football, and my life is going to put, I'm blessed because I've still got touch wood, so I've got my health. I'm sure people will point on slowing down in certain areas. But I'm mixed with people I've played with, people I've played against. Some difference are no longer with us, and some people are suffering from one far more dementia or another, so I'm totally blessed, and I'm in a great place, and I'm enjoying my life where I am, so I'm not down for any job anywhere, clearly. And he swummed the channel as we know last summer, he does a brilliant job for Ireland, and for that amazing charity, he's been brilliant. So, is this truth in what he says, Crick? He's bang on, and he's bang on. For me it's like the football business, if you've got an idea about business and all that sort of stuff, doesn't mean you actually understand football. I think what Graham's talking about there is the awareness about advising people, and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're actually working with the club, but an advisory part where you can talk about players, their qualities, whether they can be a successor at the football club. Actual football discussion, that combined with good business, is the way forward. So, he's bang on, but again, some people, a lot of people see it as a threat. I remember being at Hubs when Jim Duffy was a manager, and he brought me up on loan from Sheffield United, and he brought Billie McNeil to the club, because he just wanted someone, a bit of gravitas, to just be a soundboard, just to give him a bit of advice, and Billie McNeil was in a position at heart. He wasn't a, sorry, Hubs, he wasn't a director of football or anything. He was just given a post, because Jim Duffy obviously had this enormous respect for him, and just wanted to use them as a sounding board. It was a tough time for Hubs, and they weren't flying high at all, and he used them for a good number of months. So, Billie, enjoy that? Billie enjoyed it, I remember speaking to my boot, and he wished it could have happened for him at Celtic. Eventually, he went back at Celtic as an ambassador, but my goodness, they could have used him for years and years. Of course, that's what many Celtic fans felt, that for too long, that he wasn't a place, and I guess, yeah, Ring just joined Greg, still there. I don't have tried to advise, you always think of the two of them, the great captains. No, absolutely. Greg has been around the place forever, he was quite active when I was there, but I know less so now. It's a role that I think can be filled in football, a lot better than what it currently is. Final line from today's press conference, the media conference, Martin Hill was asked, what about no way fans at these games? Okay, well, I'll not get politically involved in terms of an issue. What I do think is that the game has disappeared somewhat because of the lack of away fans. It's one of the biggest games in world football. I would say world football. People talk about the all-firm game, and it definitely misses something, and I can only go from my experiences as the manager. Going to Ibrox and knowing that when you step out onto that field that you have got seven, seven and a half thousand people, whatever it was, behind the goal, cheering you on, at least you felt you weren't alone, and it's a similar situation for Rangers managers to go to Celtic to find the fans there. It's a nearly sort of atmosphere when you haven't got their way fans in. From an outside viewpoint, I will stay outside from this. The sooner that that can get fixed, the better. But maybe the days of 7,000 people going in different or heading to Ibrox or heading to Celtic par might have gone, or certainly lessening those numbers, but still without their way fans, it is definitely missing something. I know where you stand on that hand date, and I agree with you. So, sorry. You will not find any football person, we're talking about football, you know, influence. You won't find any football person who has experienced this game, who does not want to see a sizeable away support. And it's a great pity. I feel as though they cannot stand the sight of one another. And it's a great shame, because it's diluting the showpiece occasion for Scottish football. Authorities need to show some muscle and get it sorted, but it doesn't happen. I know they said it will happen early next year. Craig, we're fed up talking about that one, unless there's any book, something you want to see on it. What do you think now for the game? Sunday, we'll get two minutes left in the program, and still be some signings in and out. Yeah, I'll keep it short and sweet. Celtic going as the favourites. A lot of people will expect to see Celtic to win. Have Rangers got a chance? Of course they have. I think Matondo is the only foot question mark in terms of a starting 11 for me, and that's whether or not he goes before the window closes. Rangers need to start well. Celtic have scored early goals in majority of their matches this season, and if they do again, they will go on and win this match. Normally you look at it and you wonder who will win. It's normally pretty tight, and if you're tipping someone, it's by a goal. I think Celtic can win this by three goals. I think they can win it comfortably. I'm going to go three now, Celtic. If you were Rangers, what would you do to try and stop that? Is there anything they can do? We've been seeing it for a number of months now. They need better players, and when I look at this lineup that Rangers have got, and I think it is important for the manager as well to be able to put something together to show that he can come up with a big performance, some big players playing on the big occasion. If Rangers were to, if you offer the Majora, they would take it right now, I cannot make a case for Rangers winning at Parquet. Great. Does that almost take a pressure off your old club end that you say? Everyone's written us off. Nobody writes this for this. We don't care and go and do something. No, no, no. Again, look, it's a game where we've heard Martin O'Neill. We've heard Graham soon. Form for this particular match goes out the window. For this particular match, either team can win. There's no doubt about that. In terms of the league over the course of the season, Celtic have got a far better squad and will win the league. Thanks, everyone, for watching today. Thank you. That's the draw we gave you, and thanks to everyone who's on. Thank you for Jay for those interviews, great interviews with Sunnis and O'Neill tomorrow night, but he figures them will be here along with Martin.
