This is Selses, Mr. Thunder. I am Mr. Thunder. If this is your first time coming to the podcast, man, I sure do appreciate you for coming. Somehow you heard about it and decided today was the day we're going to press play. For those of you who have been rocking with me since the beginning, definitely appreciate you for joining me on this ride. Today, I'm going to do a little something different. I usually say it's not about me, it's about you. But today, I feel like I have an opportunity to make it about me. I had an opportunity to go visit family and in my delay in putting our content. I was able to gather some content with my family. So today, I want to give you guys a flounder war perspective of a conversation that was had kind of roundtable with the family that hasn't been together in some years. And the last time we were together was for a funeral. Now, we don't have the strongest of family bonds, but most importantly, we find a way to bring it back together. And where we do, we have some deep conversations. So I felt like this was a good opportunity to record a family conversation that I feel like a lot of us have or need to have. And then that there's a lot of truth, wisdom, learning and surprises. So stick around, guarantee you'll find this conversation familiar. If not familiar, find it entertaining. So with that being said, I'll further ado, I want to give you a conversation as a flounder war of the thunders. Yeah, we did that how many years? Yeah. Those tricks that I want. Jamie say that fine. We just last tripped out with two unless it's a few. Which is the same thing that's same. There's no plan on going back either. It's sad, you know, that it's like that, but I mean, I can't say that I didn't see it going that way. Yeah, no. What's the good that came from it though? Is there any good that came from it? From his trip down there? Yeah, just what? You know what? In my opinion, I would call it clarity, because you never know unless you do it. We're trying, and that's exactly what he did. And I'm not going to say it was kind of my fault. But Jamie, like he said, he had came back home. That was the third time coming back home. And sometimes people don't do your stuff. Or have that respect that you would have on somebody else's plate and things like that. So you got to set rules and boundaries. And if you can't follow the rules or not call those boundaries and ask, do you got to figure something else out? Maybe it's not here for me. I have to go to Iowa and try. See if your mom will take you in. And she was willing to take them in, but I guess it wasn't like she thought it would be. Those relationships were different. But see, you had the impact of your impact. The positive impact is that your impact on him forced him to do it. So your fault in that is not a fault. If you find any fault in it, it's because you care. That's a fault in who you are, because you care. So you're going to tell the truth. But I was proud of Jamie, which I didn't got down there to tell you. The kid was lifting it up when he got down there. He had some friends. He was going camping on the weekend. But he told me about those friends. And he said, I think they might have been at a Bible camp. So I made these people back in another state. But Jamie was having fun. I was telling Jamie, I'm proud because you never know unless you try. You got to spread your wings sometimes. I'm flying. He got out there, got a job, worked with these guys. And then, I guess, like you said, if you're not right, or what you're doing isn't... How did you put it, Ramsey? You got your self that you have to work on. Yeah, three lives. The three lives. And when your own personal life ain't going right, it'll mess you up. Your focus isn't there. And, you know, that focus really wasn't there, no more for him. He wasn't as excited as he was in the beginning of the Bible. Really. I guess because that family stuff was what we're feeling. Well, and what really changed it was he ran into an obstacle. Right. So, like, everything was going smooth. But he ran into an obstacle. And he couldn't overcome that obstacle. And it was like, you got to be able to solve a couple of obstacles. You know what I mean? Jumping into that system. That's the car obstacle. Yes. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. That car obstacle. With that stick back. So, he had a job. You know, he was making me some money. He was happy. He had his car down there and everything. But he took his car to get his world changed. And his car got messed up. Yeah. So, he lost his transportation. Which caused him to lose his job. So, then now he didn't have transportation. He didn't have a job. His mom kind of lives in a rural area. Where, you know, he was kind of stuck. You know, and I kept trying to offer him solutions. So, you know, he's flashing that everywhere. Be careful now. I was trying to offer him solutions to his history. Yeah. But again, he failed to say the action on those suggestions. Yeah, and because of that, you know, he ended up at a dead end. You know, and that, I mean, sometimes that's what we all do. We fail to take action when, you know, it's a cross road. Like, what are you going to do from here? You don't go this way, you don't go this way. This way, they still get in. But this way, they still have the avenue, you know. And he ended up sitting still, not moving, you know. And ran out of gas. What about you, Star? I'm sorry, what? Like, he was someone, they was someone I was dating. And his, when Jada found his clarity. Because he left. And he was talking about how they are coming back. A hundred percent. Like, honestly, because when he left, like, none of it made sense. It's like I told you when I came down there. Like, his excuse, it didn't make sense. Because that's never been a thing. And the only outlier was the new relationship. So when it came down to it, when he was like, you know, oh, I already went. Like, I want to spend some of my Christmas right here. Like, for what? Like, we're just going to go see family. We're going to hang out. We're going to do everything you've asked to do. But why now? It's like this thing. So I let it happen. Because me pushing myself on him was just going to push him away. Yeah. So I had to let it happen. You know, despite the hurt, the, you know, whatever. But we had that conversation. And then like I said, like out of the blue, I don't know where. We start coming around. Gage's like, hey, mom, what's up? Nothing, maybe what you don't. Like, and I don't know if he thought he was going to get met. With like anger or hurt or frustration or whatever. But I think it threw him when all he was met with, was still the open arms that was there when he walked away. And so when he did that, he realized that this was still his safe space, which is what I've always told him. Like your home is your safe space. This where you cut up because this is where you get corrected. And if I can't correct you at home in love, then I don't have no business trying to correct you in public. And it's, it was rough. It hurt and it sucked because like I love seeing him, but at the same time, everything in me wanted to still address the elephant animal. Yeah. But I was like, I can't do that. Please do I do that? It's just going to push more. Where he's, he's coming back, he'll talk when he's ready. Um, but then like I said, Haley's just like talking one day and she's like, oh yeah, it broke up. And I was like, I don't know. I was like, oh, okay. I was like, well, I'm sorry to hear them. Like, you know, I didn't know what I'm about to do. But you put that timeline together and that was when he came home. Because I think that was his aha moment where he was like, yeah, I just walked up. I grew in that relationship and lost those months with my family, with my mom, with my grandma. For a girl that didn't even last a month after that. Let me ask you a question. There are another question now that you said that. So for this, this wisdom that you're talking, when in your life, for you, did you have that aha moment where that you, now you have the clarity to see what's going on. That's a good question. Well, you had to come back to something that you were using as an excuse to do the opposite. Let's do it the other way, Ginger. You know? Or just anything. Just anything that when you got it, you was like, okay, I fucked up. Um. I shouldn't do that. I shouldn't be that way. I think, I mean, to be completely honest, I still struggle with it. I'm not necessarily finding, like, a critical, like, aha moment. It's just that learning. That's what I mean. That you have to do. And it happens, you know, it could be something big, it could be something small. So for you. For me. Specifically, one thing in your learning process. Just one thing that just shifted you, like, okay, from now on with everything else. I'm going to change this about me because I figured this out. It was my ability to know that my response to anything in life is my choice. Yes. It's not because of how I was raised. It's not because of, you know, whatever. Because for the longest time, that was my thing. Where it's like, that's just me. You don't like it, fuck it. I don't care. I'm out. But at the same time, I'm like, but that doesn't have to be me. I can be who I want to be. That's sad because that's the same mentality that I had for a long time and I had to learn. Yes. To be different. That's because that's how we were raised. It was that this is me, fuck you, you don't like me. Okay, cool. But you know what? I can be my own person and I don't have to be you. Because the sad reality is as we look back on him now and we're like, you're miserable, you're lonely, your kids don't want to talk to you. Because that's that you can't apologize. That was that was my aha moment. That was my aha moment was learning to apologize to my kids when I fucked up. Yeah, yeah. So how did you feel? It broke my heart. It broke my heart. But it set me so free because it allowed me to teach them now and to make my son the man he is. Exactly. Because what my obedience is better than sacrifice, sacrifice is better than obedience. It's what you want to get out of your decision. You have to choose one. And then you don't know until you do. Then you have own security. And then you see something that you're planning seeds in with years ago. And all that you have been asking for is for this to happen. Now imagine if you had a resource to where the understanding that people don't like to have face-to-face conversations, what is the new way social media, people listen to things, people watch things. If you were able to give a delivery that was real short, real sweet, and all you say whenever somebody brings something to you know and I got something. Listen to this. And then tell me what you get from it. From my whole point in this visit that you, you, you, and you, you especially. Me. Yes, because we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. Why are you here for you? No, exactly. Well guess the reason. Exactly. So here's the reason, right? So the reason being that this is what I have identified in my position in life. I am the man of the house of thunder, right? So I have to make sure that what I cover is operating efficiently without receiving credit. Yeah. And I give the praise to all of you for doing what you're doing because I, at some point, am going to need you in the same way. So I'm trying to set people up to believe in what I see in them so that now I can do what I want to do, which is walking my purpose. So I have created this for you. Use it because these are the conversations that are hard to have. But if you can find that clarity in you by understanding that wisdom is applied knowledge rather than trying to give direction based upon experience, it becomes a different conversation. And the intent is a seed. You got to learn how to have and say things in a certain way that you don't get the immediate response. Crop's are harvested overnight. Every farmer had to figure out how long it took for this seed to take root. And what is it going to bear fruit of the seed, right? So what they do when they try and rush it, they throw chemicals on it. They add stuff to it. They deluded and things like that's where nobody wants to pay for it and then it becomes cheap. But this, which is valuable, is based upon something that was flawed. False-driven. We were a block of something that has a bunch of false cracks in it. But guess what, it's still a block no matter how far the pea shattered, it always found this way back. And even though it didn't fit the way it used to, it was necessary to support the piece that it came from. So I say that to say, I have a vision and I could say this vividly, I could say it anyway, but the best way I could say it is, all I know is what I know. And what I do know is, is that this family is made of greatness. And if you can identify whatever your purpose is and walk in it, we all benefit from it. Because my strength is my weakness and my weakness needs to be supported. You know what I'm saying? So when I communicate to you guys, and again, tone is a big thing. Finding the room to have it and the space to do it, may not always be the best, but if you have it, you get it, don't hold on to it. So that's why I'm constantly sharing with you guys what I'm doing. Because I want to hear what you got to say, because I'm telling people things that are happening, because my model is you wouldn't believe me if I told you. So why do I have to lie? So why do I have to lie? I am who I say I am. I am a man of my word, and I stand on a proper value of, I do what I say, and I say what I mean. And if there is any misunderstanding, I like to have a conversation. And the one piece of self-education that I received was understanding that desire is tied of me, which is the thunder gene causing you to become amplified when you have whatever is stimulating you to be charged. It's what when you open your mouth or you open your hand or whatever you do this, when you finally go cool out or whatever the hell you do, what happens next? You just go cool out. Whatever energy that is, you have to know when it needs to be released, and it needs to be controlled, right? And all our learning, and all our learning, we've all had to hurt ourselves to do it. Yeah, I mean there's definitely a feeling in the first, but you have to want to be, you have to be willing to address it. You have to be willing to say there's a problem here, and I either I'm going to work on myself or I need help. There's nothing wrong with that. Because sometimes that's what we need. I didn't create us to have, you know, by ourselves, we said not to be in Ireland. We need community. We need each other, huh? And I think it's important. If you recognize the fear of the law and yourself, you have to be willing to look yourself in here. So it's not yours. It's now I'm going to live my life. I see this is a problem in me, and I'm going to address it. And however you do that, you know, either you start working on yourself and you go and you get help. Somebody that can help you work through it, because sometimes you don't know them. You know, and that's why there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, I had to. I struggled. I struggled in the beginning with the law, so, and I want to tell you, the guy, you know, the first time the guy was like, "Well, you think the problem." I'm like, "I don't know. That's why I'm here." You know? And then it just wasn't like, "Oh, come on." You know, but I have always wanted to know why. What? Because that's how he worked out in here. That was a question he wanted to do. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I wanted to tell him. I did not realize, you know, the way I was living my life, I did not realize a lot of stuff. And a lot of those, you know, just for my lack of knowledge of knowing that, "Hey, this isn't a good situation. What's wrong with this? Why do you think that's okay?" And you know, it's like, "No, I'm up." Okay, so let's address that. Let's say, okay, you know, I think we need help. But you have to be willing to do it yourself, right? No. Be willing to say, "Yes, I need prayer. I'm struggling with this." You know, I need some help. I need some help. So what was the best one yesterday? What was the one that really stuck with you? Okay. The thing that impacted me most in our time was, um, we were in, we were helping them clean up the cafeteria, the dining area that we have. They served food. Mm-hmm. And they're like, "Okay, it's time to go in and get you to go in the back, so I'll clean up and we're going in the back." And so, the guy, one of the guys, the leader, she's pointed to us, "We're not easy to wear on this one." But, you know, you, you opened us up in prayer. Do you know? This dude's opening prayer work. What was that? What was that? I think you were, I think you were for this house. I think you were the privilege to clean up the house. I think you were saving me. That was the most impactful thing to be. Because I know, I know what he's supposed to do. Mm-hmm. I mean, I was an honest person. I know. I'm an honest person. And to be able to have stuff like this before, too. And be there for you. I know that this is a question. He's giving God the glory. For the opportunity to clean. To clean his own. And it doesn't work for me. I mean, I am in breath in a good way. Because I've always been a grateful person. Mm-hmm. I was always been thankful. That, that just impacted me on a level that I was not ready. I did not see someone. But when I tell you guys, I did so good. And God is real. And he is a miracle worker. And he is powerful. Believe me, I've seen it. I've seen it. You don't know what happens. I mean, I don't think I told you all the stuff in my life. You know what? I am grateful. And I know God is saving you. And then he wouldn't have saved my life when I was 15 years old. Oh, and then my free beautiful baby. Oh, and then I'm my friend. Oh, and then I'm grateful. To be alive. And that's what I heard of. I'm grateful. Ramsay. I know I might have said this to you before. But you know, I was a teenage girl and I got pregnant. But I hadn't been grateful that I had to. Because if I didn't, I probably would have been dead. Because of the life I was living. I was on that railroad side. You know. But I had to. That made me speak a total switch like, "Okay, it's not about me, anyone. I don't care if nobody cares about me. I have a child. I have a human being that I am responsible for. And it was true." I'm going to figure this out. And I am grateful. I'm beautiful here. It's so strong. And I believe each way you have to get. And get from God. I believe that, you know, you will wash in your practice. And you will go wash in your practice. Because the time is coming to us. The time is coming. And he's going to need a army of warriors. And you are the warriors. You know. And it all started to disappear. Right. It all started to disappear. Take a look. So this is how God works. Now, I recorded the episode called impact. I told you guys, I sent you the episode. I said, "I want you to listen to this." And I want to know what you think. How did you feel? What did you get from me? And I'm glad you didn't listen to it. Because now if you do what you just said. Understand your impact. And then go listen to it. The clarity that you're going to find. Because I had it. When I wrote it down. And you know how I write. Everything starts clicking. And I have chosen for this year to be the year that I walk in my purpose. Right. My purpose looks different to everybody. Because they can't understand why I'm not trying to be famous. Why I'm not trying to be seen. Why I keep saying I want to be heard. I need you to. I'm teaching you how to speak to get clarity. Right. Don't make decisions based upon what you see. Make them on what you hear. Right. What are they actually saying to you? And I do that now. So in that. The word was spoken to me. It was impact. Right. And I won't go into detail because I want you guys to do that for me. I'm asking of you. If you don't do anything else. Listen to that episode. And understand that what just happened right here. Today right now. Everybody had an impact on me. So whatever wherever this had to land as it was falling. Somebody hit it this way. Somebody hit it this way. Somebody hit it this way and then. Now we hear it. What are we going to do about it? Now that we understand that we have an impact on them. We have influence. We have the ability to help. You know what I'm saying? We have the ability to create understanding. And now that we have fleshed out the trauma. If there's any residue. We can be strong enough to know that we have a council. In the thunder. To where you can sit down and have a conversation. And if you don't want to talk. You have a place to go to get it. Just like you send us the little scriptures. Or the little videos. Yeah. Whatever. And when you catch on. When you catch. I just want to say it's so fucking bad. You're like, you know what? I said listen to this. And it's on you to listen to it. And whatever you come back with. Because you are now. You are now the warrior that's being sent out. To find what we need to sustain. Right. So you're about to go out and find a way to sustain the lifestyle. So that what you have responsibility for. When you get older and have kids. Don't have to work as hard as me. And they have a whole network. A family. That's able to be. You can direct it. If you're not getting through to them. You're not getting through yours. You're not getting through the yours. I'm not getting through the mind. And I have to ask. I need you to talk to Stein. I need you to call Ramsey. You know what I'm saying. I can't make you be an uncle. I can't be your uncle. You know, fuck with you. You know what I'm saying. So you need to understand. If don't mess up this relationship. Because I am the one. That holds it together. You know what I'm saying. And if you. I don't have to tell you. If I, everybody just said by doing. I'm doing it. Right. And I'm okay with giving. What's known. The power. If you know how to make this shit come up to life. Understand. You got my full support. But you got to also hear. What I can offer. At the same time. Because what I'm offering you. Is the ability to figure it out quicker. Right. And then my. We're giving you the freedom to have these experiences. And don't have to worry about. Now your prayers are not about. And your family. Because you have created. The ability. Behind your prayers. Right. And now you're seeing it. So this is the season. So now is the time to read. Right. So the storehouse they talked about giving. You can't give anybody anything if you don't give yourself first. That is the message. That most churches fail to start with. It's not about supporting a church. As an entity. It's about supporting a church as a body. Which is the body of Christ which is short. So. So everything I tell you is for you to be selfish. So that you can discern when somebody's trying to take something. And where they go get something that you need. I love this. I love this. I love this man. I needed this. I needed this. And I'm telling you. If I have been prophesied over. Many of the times. The direction I have. The vision. Is that they see me speaking. In front of the mass. That's what Jesus did. He taught how to teach my word of mouth. So you're talking about impact. And this trip locations of this trip. The home base of this trip is your home star. I told you this the other day. And I want to tell you now. I'm proud of you. I'm proud of what you have. And I aspire. To be able to do this to my family. And I thank you. I thank you for doing this. Because I needed it. I definitely needed it. I haven't seen you in a long time. I haven't seen mine in a long time. I haven't seen grads in a long time. And that's not right. For whatever reason. You know for whatever reason our relationship might not be what it should be. I take I take a lot of responsibility and that myself because I don't reach out. And I'm trying to. Ramsey. Talk about impact. You know a lot of the stuff that Ramsey talks about. I'm. I'm trying to apply this. You know. Embrace now because a lot of times that me and Ramsey talk is emery. You know and every time I talk to them I'm like I'm gonna be better. I'm gonna be better. I promise you. It's time I talk to you. I'm like my. I'm gonna be better. So the impact. That that this trip. As on me. Is. Is profound. Um. The word that that we received today at church was. I feel like catered. For this occasion. You know and regardless if you. You guys know I talk about the universe and stuff like that. Everything comes together. But I still believe in a creature. And I believe that our creator made this happen because it has to happen. It has to happen this way. I had no idea that Ramsey was coming. That was like the best birthday surprise ever. Baby I love you. Thank you. My. Thank you for. For being here. For being you. And for being happy. Cause. You look happy. Who are you? And you deserve that. You know. Perhaps. The impact. That you have on me. I always look up to. And it's not just because. I'm sure. You've always been my big brother man. You know you play that role. Very well. For me. And. A lot of things that I did when I was younger. Was me aspiring to try and be like you. Thank you. So. You know I don't know how much I've said this to you. But thank you. For being you. And the only thing I want to do. Is show love and return. Cause one thing that I learned. In my life is that. The most important thing. Is love. And family. And. Family doesn't have to mean blood. But when family is blood. It's that much stronger. So. With that being said I'd like to do something. Oh my.
