(upbeat music) - Hello, good evening, and welcome to the Talking Cup. It's Wednesday, it's the 40 September. It's three days after Liverpool will be, you know, three, Neil, Amfield, and I'm with Shawnee. Am I gonna chat about not so much the summer transfer window for Liverpool, but just how the window and the start of the season combined have gone for certain teams, have teams, look like they've had a good window and it's gone really well or gone really badly or have bad windows and started well, wherever it might be, players that are caught are all in stuff like that. Shawnee, I'm gonna get straight into it, which you know, 'cause you weren't around on Sunday. So you did watch, you know, again, you weren't on Sunday with us. I want to get your reaction to it because, like, I think the big thing to come out of us, how well Liverpool played, the Stoyle played you hard, how deep pull it through, you know, it had a slot base he set afterwards, how he walked, you know, you know, they went and stuff like that. Tenhanks getting an awful fucking time. Gary Neville was a atrocious after. But what was your feelings after the game, Shawnee? You know, it's early in the season. You know, we have a fully fit squad, by a warm player, I think. And we went out there and we put them to the start. I think you used the world, this is embarrassing for them, about 70 minutes in. But, look, you're not going to come out of the back of the game, Liverpool can win everything. But it's a really good point to go into a big stadium in a huge game and just committing to what we're trying to do and doing it well. - Yeah, look, what kind of... It's something that, like, we've went there a few times and given them a few points. Like, we've given you an way to allow the baiting job for the last four or four years, probably even going back a little bit forward. And we absolutely back to them. And, like, there was games that we went there, I think the four-year-old were unbelievable that day. Like, you know, like, what? It sent the line in football. Like, what are the two? They don't deliver this. Where does the most impressive thing about Sunday, for me, was, we beat them in second gear. And then, in 70 minutes, well, like, we're just going to take the pace away. You know, probably too much in a sense where if we can... So, Bosloy has a chance to just toe-poke the far end, but start attacking the bollocks and then by doing all the ladies in the corner and doing a round-down in the corner and from the away fans. And it was a very, very impressive win. Three points at three points, but I think in the fashion you do it, but we've been uniformly controlled and relaxed, and we've basically cruised into the fourth international break with maximum points and zero goals to see it. And I just don't think you can't have any... You can't have any quarrels about that. I didn't look at any amount in any of my farms. Well, a little bit... We think teams can get out or contain very few chances. Alison Becca's had very little to deal, which probably hasn't been distorted for the majority of his Liverpool career because he's... I'll tell you, it's fucking brilliant. You can say sometimes he's all about walks, definitely lassies and at times. Whereas, that seems to be... Like... Oi, oi. It's like, I don't want to go out of a bar because I think we did in the last couple of shows and talking about Slat, I think I did go out with a bar a little bit because it is really early, but some of it is down to him. And I don't like that people are saying it's not too similar to the way Club played, and he's had a great squad to come in and walk with. These were the same people who are saying Liverpool were going to follow the show now that Club walked... When Club walked out for all of a sudden, now he has a great squad. I think you can very, very clearly see what Aaron has started doing with this Liverpool team. And... I just think he's played a pitch perfect in the opening three weeks and the pre-season. Like, he shields the hostage in front of everyone being in Gerald Kwanza after 44 minutes at Ipswich to just show. And I think it's a genuine deal, believe it is. He whips Gerald Kwanza saying, "Weren't we in your battles?" Didn't have to say that in the media, shields the hostage in front of everyone as if to say, "Look, listen, if you're not on a oil-fucking-lecher now, "he's hooked, trained, on 73 weeks in a row. "What, train it up, we got away, win, train it. "The fourth thing is he's quick enough to point about, "Look, listen, at half the time I had to show "a Lewis Diaz when he didn't track back a day, "had a chance, and then try and give the ball away silly. "He's naming things, he's letting people know "that it is more way at a hoy way." And I seen Trent in the video and he basically said, "Your boy in and you don't play." And I think you can see that then. And I honestly thought that the biggest obstacle slots would have faced that he has control of coming into this Liverpool, so it is getting the respect of senior pros who have won absolutely everything in the game. And you can see already that they're actually really enjoying playing for us. And it's like, we're operating like a top so it, and you can see someone and players know that the ball is now. - He's not, he's not pretty. You know, by some people, it's very, you know, I find that he had a very, a try hard sometimes, right? - Yeah, no, but no, but no, this one's gonna say, I fully agree with what you're saying, right? The thing, my team with slot is here, he's coming in and he's being very, not very stern and very look at me or in the fucking man, I'll be, you know, I'll be a prick to the ears if I want to. I think he's coming in and the way he played the games, I think he's being really good. Like that game on Sunday, we beat them for even a couple of seasons ago with those there, and we're for even a little about the 50 minutes. And we start getting sloppy and he's there. But what they do do today is they go train a little, but they just take the game away from Manchester, right? Now, the thing is, right, it's a really good win. And like you say, he comes off after the game and he says, yeah, I had to show three clips, I had to show Diaz one, I had to show somebody else. So he mentions them and mentions Trent as well. And then in the written press, he says, I want Alison there to be literally a player playing out from the back, I don't want them walking too much. So he's basically saying, you're a trainer up, we don't have to say it to them. He says, you're a trainer up and then you switched off and you let right for the clip of you to the back post and that's not allowed. But not to come over. Like he could have easily said, I'm not taking fucking Trent off this week. Did you see this shit that went down last week? And he still does the same thing. Takes him off and Trent's all smiles and he's at the crowd and he's given it the big one to the United fans. In contrast, the last week when he was moping around the pitch around Phil, we were there, we seen it. You know what I mean? He's just, like you said, pitch perfect. He's really on the balance for me. - He's not gonna, he's not going too much one way where he's trying to be overly liked. And he's not going to the way where he's you know, with this mad disciplinary and this is a this is a regime I'm running it's not a you know, it's not a club I'm running. This is my regime and that's it. I pitch perfect is probably the way you think you put a perfect. He's really down the line and he's dealing with everything absolutely perfectly. He gives enough to the press, doesn't give too much, not intimidated by them. He's been, it's been really, really impressive. It's so fresh on you know, I just think it has them. The more and more I watch of the of the footage afterwards and even three days later now, I'm still looking on. - Jesus, I didn't cop that, he's been very good. - Oh, you're looking at the last year. Like you're looking at the last year of sports, got off the floor instead and just the media dialing and he's everyone's mate and it's mate and it's he's a fresh year. And then as soon as you know that was a facade and it was impossible for it to keep up because just look at him now, look at him now, we, we sport you in press conferences. He was at ends to tell everyone that we shouldn't be given out the reps now he's out at all the time. And we seen him last year at the fans when they were asking him about him. Then my one last one had to go, "Well, I'll see you went there." And he was saying, "No, we don't." Oh, you just think, Aaron, his love is going there and just saying, "Oh, I don't even think it." Because I just think it's genuine. I don't think he's going in and going, "Oh, I need to do this." Oh, I think he's just kind of, just probably said to himself, "I'm just kind of going to be me." And if they don't look, oh, he don't give a ball. So I before ball club, the manager and that, that's my priority, is that this squad of players and the fans who are watching get behind everything that I need to do and I know exactly what I need to do. And he's done that, you know? I just, I'm very, very impressed by his character. So much so that, yeah, it's annoying me to help people. I just downplaying it and saying, "No, it's not actually that different." There's a fuck on all the difference between the four ball I'm playing now. And the four ball I've played on the young club. And I imagine if you talk to players to the solid, they'd be failing it as well. Because I just think that is hard. Well, don't get me wrong. We've seen ourselves four times. They didn't want to have a lot of running. But I just think the big difference is, we take way more care about where, there's probably way less intensity in terms of trying to get the ball back because we're taking way better care of the ball in position. To run our fours and things. And the still team problems are still going to be, there's going to be tricky patches. But I tell you what, he's playing a fucking blind, that's how far. I'm absolutely deloying with him. And he doesn't have to be this thing where he gets us. Club is the one of a client, once in a lifetime, sorry, I imagine. Twice in a lifetime, if you are lucky enough to be in a round for Bill Chang, clear and seeing him in his pump. Slut is very different in his own way, but he's every bit as capable of leading this four ball club. And I'm nearly, I'm absolutely sure of it. And he's been fucking, he's been excellent. Or I'm a big fan of him, big, big fan of him. - How, just watch one, we went to watch them against Bramford and there was like, there was an atmosphere around the ground. I felt when Liverpool had the ball, it was like, Jay's, like a tent, like it was tents. When Liverpool had the ball, it was like, we're not used to this, the past that they're going here, that they're moving, not that Liverpool didn't pass a move, but Liverpool were already not directed in the sense of we're gonna get at you as quick as we possibly can, every single time. And I loved it, like, that's not, let's not fucking say it wrong here. You know, anything you say about Aaron and Slut isn't a slut on your club, your club here is just phenomenal. But there was a tenseness to it, right? And then when we get to second goal, it was like, people are like, oh yeah, I can see what he's doing, he's holding it, he's taking the ball away from them, he's not giving them any momentum, he's controlling the game. I think what happened there on Sunday is gonna lend a lot to the next time, okay? Because Liverpool fans have traveled to Old Trafford, I'm watching on the TV, and we've seen my games at Old Trafford, where we were pending, or it's 90 miles an hour, and you're like, what the fuck, and your head's gone. I think Liverpool fans, after watching that on Sunday, are looking gone. When we're at home, when we're doing this, don't worry about it. They go away at Old Trafford and they deal with it. They were at home, they know what the fuck in that. And I think that's gonna release a bit of the tension, we're in. It's not even an understanding of what they're doing, it's just an acceptance of this is different. I felt it wasn't quite there against Brentford, but I think it will be at the next time, again. - But look, listen, it was more the unknown, you know what I mean? That the unknown kind of soy people, equal parts scared of, you know, like... - Yeah. - Look, I was hit with my audio with the game, and I could see your hat was in your mouth when tonight Dave's getting the ball. I could see it and then it was thrown around. It's natural, though, because it's not a story that the game will watch, but I'm telling you now, when one of them goals comes off, when one of them goals comes off is when everyone is gonna go out by barter, and I'm talking about the mainstream and everything. And it will come off, it's very, very close to coming off, and you know what's hard to tell them to talk about. When the ball, it's just getting faced around, like, fucking 1970s Brazil. One of them is gonna end up in the net. He said it himself after the game. He was disappointed with that the trend goal was out of soy because it was literally one that we played out from the back from the key, but... Whereas if you look at the goals against Brentford, ball gets nicked on the edge of the box, Jordan and Jill from their car, and we count them, and bash out, and then the other one is the ball, Nick Coy with the ball's loy. Nick's the ball, hoy. We break. Myel gets clipped in, he scores. The three goals and I was wrapped up with an ear, curved on copies of each other. Yeah, this possessed him to hold him in failure, and just loosen them up and then killing them. The Trent one is literally from back to front. When one of those goals comes in, and the clips are gonna start going, "Well, let's slap ball, let's slap ball." I think that's why he's waiting on, or I think that's why he's gonna drill it of what's saying that on a regular. But on just the loy, it's with the ball manager that we have and not the other folk in Spielberg, because it's the contrast, and it's ying and yang. It's the composer from the media that sent it. Like, "God, for me, the moment." The way Trent Hogg walks freaks me out, boy, the way. Not even that guy. Ah, Trent, he was able to pair the rumors on him the other day, and a pair of drums that we're doing, just to show off. - Oh, yeah, it's kind of a stage, and I'm actually, first, I had to be a little bit sorry but I'm using a mama. - No, I don't. - But he just walks out of the school, and he's like, "Yeah, well, look, if you asked me "why did he play it last year, but this is what people look. "This is what they are now." I know he just basically said to the boys, "They're gonna press with them, too." And then we just knew ourselves, and then we won the ball, "Well, you're gonna be one-on-one." And you can just see Cain blowing away, boy. You know what, and Cain's just like, "Fucking hell." - And it's not fluff, and all of our drams and toys, and I feel like you're a fucking wind, the dog, and it's loif. Did you see the one with his loyball, did you see the loyball? - Yeah, and he has some-- - Yeah, he has big pockets. - Yeah, look, it's not even loif, like, it's just, it's real, yeah, we don't, and that's it. Does it, like, it's not even a humble brag, it's just that fine loif in between confidence and arrogance. He just erodes that perfectly, because he's full belief in his ability, and then he just went and fucking dissected. You know, it's a story I'll apply. Honest to God, it's fucking, it's sweet. It's very refreshing. - Can we talk about, I wanna go into a couple of other clubs, and let's go with it, because, you know, their window was Leniaro, it's Xerxes, it's Eugarti. - The Lit. - And the Lit, and Mazrui. So, I think they've done well with Mazrui. I think the jury's out on the Lit, and I still think it is after Sunday. I don't think, people think he was great, and I don't think he was. The fella beside him is fucking awful, that doesn't help him. The Boja, as they call him, but er-- - The Boja, fucking big Boja. - Yeah, but what I found, and we've been speaking to myself and yourself, no, a couple of new fans that were in WhatsApp groups, got my channel away, and what I can't get out of it is, you know, it's, I think, on the face of it, there's a lot of Barramas, Ruoy, and the Lit. I think the other three are potential. They're selling potential in Leniaro and Xerxes, and even Eugarti, to a certain example. We haven't seen him, and of course, then Hans has come out and said he mightn't even play for months, 'cause of fitness, which I don't believe that I think he'll rush him in as quick as he possibly can. But if you're selling potential there for me, and when I look, I've watched you last two United Games, I watched the early one last Saturday, and I watched everyone obviously to fall on Sunday, and it's the mid-fail for me. I think he's, when I watched this, you know, it's so, I think if I did a decent window, they're kind of excited, you know, we're following one or two of them players, you're excited about them. Xerxes, maybe, Leniaro, you're excited about them, you're our courses in just. But I'm watching this, Sean, and I'm still of the opinion that no matter what player you're going for that team, it doesn't matter, because they don't have an identity of how they want to play. They don't want to play a midfield. They don't want the football in tricky areas. They want to win the ball, towards the yards from your goal, or towards the yards from theirs while you're on the attack, and see how they get on. And the midfield, the other day, like, I think Maino is a fantastic footballer. But like you said to me, he looks like he was running treacle after 20 minutes. You've got Casa Mero, who's just all over the place. You've got Bruno Fernandez, that shouldn't be that high up the pitch centrally for me. He should be deep, or he's a footballer. You know what I mean? And they're just getting ran all over. And, you know, even when you look up front then Xerxes has a couple of chances. Granacho doesn't deal much rash for the still in the team. Ahmed comes on, she'll probably start. And when you look at them, Sean, it just looks, it's actually starting to look a bit like a disjointed window for them again. Yeah, look, oh, great, look, I think... They've lost, if you're plenty of experience in midfield, I think they like go up the most effective midfielder. McTaminade, look, can't believe they let him go. And he's not a fashionable player, but he's the one with the most goal scoring track, and he's the most physical, and he has the most legs of the month. Yeah, and I just think, like, most of what was goal about you, you know, it last year came from him. Like, he's got some big goals for them. - Big goals. - He's about pressure. Look, I don't see what our goals come from. I don't see what our goals come from. Like Xerxes, I don't look... He wasn't prolific in Serie A. I don't expect him to be prolific in the Premier League. Although, I will say, it doesn't look like that's what they're bound for. He looks like the top player center forward here. He'll play to bring... Yeah, see, Ward fell as into the game. - Yeah. - But, look... The book has to start with my extras for me. And... They will pay for that mismanagement for as long as his contract runs, because they literally gave that young flat 350K a week of a hot streak in a season where I think he got toldy goals in all competitions. I still don't think he broke 20 in the lake. He's never scored mine 20 goals in the lake. And what they did was, they gave him a big boom-back contract after a little horrible patch. But if you actually look at... If you don't... That's in my good cause of me, look at that season, he's really good. But if you actually look at Rashford's United career, that season is the anomaly. And I mean, the anomaly in where he consistently performs, because what was in there from him is what you normally get from. And it's impossible to get rid of a player like that, because of our ages. And it's really hard to build around the team around the player like that, because he's shall win consistent. He's absolutely horrible. One thing I will say, to bring on, and to sort of coin it, it should be the least expectancy that he did walk his politics up as opposed to other games already. Because I actually seen him actively give up on the pitch against Liverpool. But I just think there's way too many issues there. And then it goes back to like, they are going to get rid of Tenhags, they tried and they couldn't find anyone else. But like, the definition of a spool for a gap is that far that back-fought of including the key, but I'll play for Tenhag at OX. That literally screams to me, that I had these lads at OX and they knew what I needed to do. So maybe it'll walk from here with them. That literally just shows, or you haven't got the ability to coach lads who haven't been with me from data to play in my story like football. Therefore, we don't see a story like football. Like it is. - When you need meal time inspiration, it's worth shopping Kroger for thousands of appetizing ingredients that inspire countless mouth-watering meals. Look, it doesn't make sense of it. Look, there's no, I don't know. Look, and look, you know, as well as anyone. I fucking, I hate, you know, as much as anyone else. I can't say, but I just know how much I hate. I can't fucking stand them. But taking off those tender glasses, or just, I don't see, I don't see where that goal has come from. I don't see the legs in the midfield. People trying to fucking go guys past and start at me. He was focused out of PSG 'cause he couldn't pass water. Let's be honest, that's just the truth. (coughing) He's not that type of player. He's not a type of player. That's, he's not a metronomical type of player. He was gonna keep you ticking out. They already have poor call be maning on the red. Like, he's already red lining. He's only 18, 19. I don't know why he's here much for part. Play too much last season. Went to the Euros playing an awful lot. Come straight back in, he's straight back in. He's practically, he's practically a fucking, he's saying I'm a fella. And yeah, like, Matt Nez and, you're more, you're more like Matt Nez and the late and whoever else you are. We don't know Annabelle. He was an unknown quantity. Don't really write Matt's railway. Think he runs around, looks busy. Don't think he's quality. Do you think he's done already on Sunday? Nah, I don't think he did. I don't think he was already on Sunday. You see, my thing with this, my thing with this. Do you know what I said, it's just, the late injury record has been horrific and Matt Nez is not much better. So, like, how long is it gonna be before, you know, they called on our Johnny Evans and heard him go out to start games? Well, he told me to wear it on the other day because the lid was on the verge of getting sent off. But, do you wear it? The goalkeeper is a lot of top 10. No, the keepers and keepers. So, keep calling the worst ever boy pro foil keeper of all the way on Sunday night. And it's hard to argue, but the main thing on this is, is that, I think they've got individuals in front, right? And I think you can get a back for it to walk. No matter what club you are at. But my problem here is, that midfield is neither dominant or functional. So, you're gonna go in as a dominant midfield, like, you know, and I'm not comparing it to Ramajid, but what I'm saying is when Ramajid has the ball, they're dominant on it. You know, they keep it, they move it, they keep it best, they're not on it, they keep it moving, see either of the same. Dominant on the bottom. And they make sure that engine room, you know, basically dictates what's gonna happen in the game. Man, see either what Liverpool are trying to do it now. Or, you go to a functional, where it's basically, cutting off lanes, cutting off past lanes, being able to press loads of legs, cover them fallbacks, but when they go forward and all that. And even don't either of that. They cannot dominate a football because they don't want it. And they don't have the legs to be functional. Because when I look at that, you know, it's what I think. If you let your fallbacks go, and you let Fernandez maybe go, and you have your front tray, and you can cover and be a functional midfield. A bit like Liverpool were with the handles and going up for being, you know, when I was meeting, right? I think we could walk from them. They can't dominate a ball, but they're not a rush, honey. They don't have the legs, they don't. They're just literally that. For me, in that midfield, I think the forward was a Manchester-looking goal. I can't get any service off this. I can't get any good service off this. And the defence are looking on. If any of them make a slight mistake, we're in serious issues here, because they just were wide open. And that's where I am with them. And I think he's signed to Garde. He's signed until late. He probably would have wanted them for Sunday. We'll see how he gets on. But he's going in there, and he's probably going to replace Casamero. But your Garde isn't going to dictate a football game here, and he's definitely not going to run around and be a functional midfield for you. - I just cannot believe-- - It's much of a much less-- - Can't believe any of us gave him as much as he did. I can't believe they've given him as much as they did in this window. Because, look, they were fucking interviewing managers. They just didn't-- they couldn't get one, they wanted. So they kept them. And Karaga is really-- I don't agree with an footballer, he says before, but he's really-- they bottled it. But they should have basically had the 10-hag. Now, you need to make that fucking move, because you'll have to-- you'll have to deal with half a billion on that team. You'll have to spend half a billion on that squad. So you make what's walked there, and they'll give you a one, maybe, to give them four. Now, when fairness, they might walk on that-- - Yarrow, specifically-- - Four, they'll give him. - Yeah, Yarrow might walk. Yarrow will walk on that-- most coaches coming in, because he's just kind of back with loud stability. Like, who say the next manager comes in and just goes, "You got it now, I'm not exactly what I need." He's actually, now, why don't play with a false noise? I know he wants someone who's going in behind, he's going to bang out on me. And then you're that cheek, "You don't want me to say about oil, "and there's not what I want either." Like, they've made massive walk. Like, do you ever get to see what he said? He said about Olay, and I actually agreed, but it'd be fair that Olay was the fella that he had who set the move for the next fella to come in and win, because he had a squad there, at least. There was an identity of a squad on that Seoul chair. I'll say that much. You went in and ripped up the script on that. Like, the fella coming in behind him, I'm telling him, it's not going to want mouths that I am full of compliers. No, because they won't want them, because they're not shown to be a unit or to excel in certain areas. Like, if they excelled in, if they scored loads of goals, but conceded loads of goals, you go, "Okay, up front is amazing. "We need to do that." But they're not the one, either. But look, it's that window, seeing the good window for you, you know? - Yeah, it has a spot. - But after boy, boy, boy back today, if I got, like, because people, this is what, this is where you need to be here with the whole thing, good window. Like, what constitutes as a good window, is it? - Not as I'm saying, they were, they perceived themselves as a horrible window. - Oil like you're with your nail. Oil like you're with your nail. Not one player, you know, it's sewing. Stars for Arsenal. Live up hill. A man's seat. And I probably got was far the same. Villa. - Yeah, no, I wouldn't, I wouldn't have a single parent. - No, I don't actually, I would use it. And this, that's the goal, right? That's the goal to get up for. I wouldn't have great the other walk-ins. I wouldn't, I wouldn't have you guys, the other one, Ana. I come out, whoever you have, they are the last, that the man Morgan Rogers playing in the middle. Delete. I don't know. Pelt hard as in concept. Oi, oi, be more, oi, be more. - Damn, Carlos. - And feel soon. - Yeah, Matt's railway. Here's that road back. Um, there's a mighty cache still there. - I doubt, there you go. Look, there you go. Probably Matt's railway. Like that, this, y'all are, yeah, y'all are, would go in there and put that. This what I'm trying to say. Like, fucking, I just, I don't, I don't, and I must be ready for a strength. But you know what it fans? 'Cause they probably thought everything was being torn around. But the problem is now, they're running their escape codes because the media won't have, have the fucking glazers that hang on there there. So, Oi, Jen, like, Oi wouldn't be surprised if Tenhag doesn't make Halloween. - No, I, I, I'd agree with you. Um, I think, I think, like, Gary Neville was in the knowledge of the day and he was saying, no, what he did look, what he cooking about, Liverpool, he only got a tall choice. And you're like, well, did he? You know, we all went on this, we all got excited by, by, um, a lancer when I'm running, but Liverpool never opened that milk. And then just come out and not doing it on a slaw. Um, but look, that's, that's his game at the minute. He's, he's fucking, he's chasing us off, fucking tired of this, that's Gary Neville. But moving on, moving on, and we, you know, we're, we're talking to the dad. I don't know if he was on the show and I asked him, where did he supply us? That city didn't make any more sense. You know, the Lewis, Julian Alvarez, the Sony, J-Man, Savio, is it? Um, and his daddy, it's that old city, too. Um, but Dave started the guy who was on four. - Going on the one. - Oh, going on the one comes in, sorry, Oi. Um, but Dave started the house on four, I think, how long were your two haters in a row? Um, he scores one against Chelsea. Does he score a hatter against Ipswichy, those in a hatter against West Ham? And they just looked like business as usual. Couple of players still to come back in properly in the legs of fold and walk or stones. Um, Rodry, I don't think Rodry started the game for them. Has he started the game? - No. - No. - No, no, no, no. - So they, they, they just looked business as usual. Um, and then kind of couple of them were Arsenal, because Arsenal, you know, they were the top two last season. You know, Arsenal bringing Califiori. They bring in Moreno and then just get one of their defenders to land on them from a height and pull him over two months. And they, they bring in Neto the goalkeeper on to the set Ramsdale and, you know, they've, they've got, they've got these and start, they're frustrated at the weekend. Um, but when you look at them, it's much of a muchness for both. See you'll win when you need it. And Arsenal might drop points here and there because of, you know, ascending on for an injury or ever else. I still think it's a softness to them at times. - Yeah, to be honest, they were very, like, I know the beat of what they wanted only when they went there and they had to have a place to win, but they were very nearly on the other side of the result against Villett. - Yeah. - They, they were lucky to route the local times. I don't think guys are made drastic steps forward. I don't think they made the steps forward they made. I've absolutely shocked that he didn't go on, so I understand that forward because I think that's definitely what they're lacking. And I'll have it as flavour at a month, but he's not a 20-year-old this year, he's in Troika and Hazel's can't stay for it. And they, they're bringing in still in which, yeah, look, a copy of mine, it's that stroke, but I just think Marlene and on the side of, like, he was covering Vasekke. Still, still massive gap, still played Vasekke. They're bringing Mika and Marina, you know, people are getting this idea, he's a six. He's, he's a Marva Boxer Box. And Cal if he already's a decent so on and both. Like, I think, like, they're running the plane for our center backs and the back four, which is not talked about enough. I actually think guys are very negative team, to be honest with you. Things you got really, really lucky last year were injuries. And I just think I'll throw the 12, probably towards Dean, Cleo and Truss had, or the, I don't see where-- - Do they see some of those, somebody laughing low on the money for Truss? - Yeah, Saudi Arabia. - Yeah. - In terms of, in terms of city, I just, city has a machine. Look, we can talk about how they got there, or whatever, whatever matters, they knew it was, that's what they are. That's the reality of the situation at the moment, they are a machine. All you think they probably kept that powder dry because they're probably on shore what's going on that happened with this whole thing. And I just think, I would imagine they probably would've had difficulty showing them players, because you need to realize that them conversations have to be hard with players. The fellas are not gonna come in by six months to go to one round, next year there was agents saying, "Forked out, I'm not hanging around the championship. "Now I am aware that's possible the worst case scenario, "or whatever league they end up in, "or whatever they deserve to end up in." I just, I do reckon that's something that would've came into the fall, when they would've been negotiating for our players. And look at the two scorers they make, they bring a fella back, he was like a club legend in Gondawan, and then they saw in Cervina from Toronto, he'll belong to Troyes, he'll are all part of the CE networks. So it's one of them. They didn't delay us Julian Alvarez, because I think it's fucking, it was a huge chunk that he couldn't turn down. So I don't think, I don't think in terms of transfers that Euler is a top tier from last year have made any great leaps forward, but it doesn't mean that they aren't really good squads. That's where my frustration with land with Coin and Liverpool's window, and I'm fully aware that now one song and what I guarantee it was winning the league, so it's like finishing up all City and Arsenal. But it just does feel like another opportunity where we've gone in a little bit lower in the season, and look, you can blame whoever you want under, or leave the OTOs, or whatever you feel about it, or just think that the rock that the owners may potentially perish on in terms of trust with the fans. It is in plain soy, and they have at best eight weeks to start, and it's the only kind of cloud that's loom and all that Liverpool start at the season, so far, and that's the contract. So I just ordered an ad, look, I think we're in a really legal position. I've said it another way down, I didn't expect Liverpool to challenge this year, I was just down because I think we should rein it in a little bit and give slot the time to fully implement everything he needs to do. I've spoken, of course, I'd welcome a title challenge, and if you're there, you're able, I'll just orienting my expectations a little bit, solely because it's a brand-new regime, but the early signs I really go, but I can understand people's grievances with the amount of business done, and the fucking, the kind of, the bar like in the realm, which is the three big contracts. So, look, I think, if you look across the whole every single team who I've won for the top spots, European spots, the other big trophies, they all have work to do. - Yeah, I don't think anyone's come off to try and throw a window where you went, Jesus, they've absolutely done everything they need to do. You know, like you said, they're a machine, but see, I want it around now with one striker. You know, one striker, I see. If Harlan's fucking, if Harlan doesn't need here, or a groin, or whatever, and it's eight, 10 weeks. So, they're really, really good, but it'll put a stretch in them. I agree with your national. I think your national should have went in and bought somebody that could play. Even someone across the front street that got you golds, I spent some money. Staring to me feels like, "Ah, we need something. "There he is. "We're getting a good deal." He's never in that heart. Oh, he actually thought he would have been prepared for national before he moved to Chelsea, but I think your national have gone beyond that now. And I'm with you on the Liverpool team. I think, you know, Toym will tell the proof of being in the podium when it comes to January, February, and we see where we are. If we're not on a toilet raise, you can probably point to injuries that have killed us, and we hadn't got whatever back up. But, you know, absolutely never know. Players that have caught you are either, you know, it's three games in, but I always feel there's a couple of players that stand and go, "J's, he's going to have a great season." But the one that's caught my audience in, and I hope it got his right, is this a manual of... - The manual from Ballomat, yeah. - Ballomat, he scores against the open the open day last season, I think. And he's in the way, fancy football team, and that's the way he's going and kept annoying. And he's got a couple of golds, a couple of assists, and, you know, I don't want to go back into the everything against Ballomat until the weekend, because that was bananas. But there's a couple of Ballomat, you know, that are, they're doing okay, aren't they? Like, you know, slanky meals and everything, they won't get golds, they'll struggle, boom, boom, boom. But, you know, Cloybert gets another assist you today, so manual gets an assist, and just names that are thrown out there where they go. They're really impressed at the start. You know, is there any out there for you that you've caught in the first couple of weeks or so? Yeah, he's really good. - Yeah, one stood out and moiled me, and I just, kind of, approached this forward that I don't think they're enough people at their own shop and in the championship. I just think there's so much quality in the championship. By January, they'll, I think it's probably a hard, I like the play in, in the Premier League, for the toy, by Maverick players down there, because it's a bit more, I had the scale double. One who stood out to me, an absolute country model, and he's one of the main reasons why I'll continue to watch Phillip this year, and I'll actively try to watch Phillip, is Morgan Rogers, Jesus Royce. What a fucking footballer. He, he's a pout like-- - He's a big lad, isn't he? - Yeah, I spoke to, I was speaking to Steve Hailey, formerly of this parish, and like basically, he, he moves around the pit like Jared, like Steve and Jared, big, powerful runner, great with the ball at his feet. He made absolute short of Arsenal. He made short of Arsenal, he made short of Declan Royce at Villa Park, he was fucking unbelievable. And I watched him as well, a way to Leicester, and he was, he's just a beast. He's so good on the ball. He's, he's, he's stature at the way he moves at the ball, pace, power, the technicality, the lovely little touches the album. He's absolutely brilliant. That him beside him is Onana. He was a fucking, a wonderful footballer. - A couple of goals as well, hasn't he? - Yeah, he a really good footballer. A really, really good footballer. That Morgan Rogers like. - Where did he take him from? - Middle's breath. - Middle's breath, okay. - Yeah, yeah, I think he saw him in January. - He was doing last season, wasn't he? He was with him last season. - He saw him in January. Did he go on in January? - Yeah, I've seen him in the last day in the window. - Yeah, I've seen him in a few times in my season. - Yeah, he's a, he's a monster of a player. Generally, I'm absolutely, it's a real kill from them because another player that they have, who, Quinn, who plays a similar position, is Jacob Ramsey, who I love about Villa as well. He's a wonderful football level. He just, it's the thing that's gone out, players who run at players is going to go out again, especially midfielders. We see it, we're way hurt, but midfielders. - Down the middle, yeah. - Yeah, he could just run down the middle, crash into the box, play lovely little one-tails. Have a look at him. He's a fucking quality, absolutely a quality. And, here Wells has been good. Here Wells has been good. - I tell you, Quinn, when we play Brent for the last week, is it Lewis Potter? - Yeah. - He was really good. - Yeah. - Really good player, but then again, I've watched, I've watched Todd Campbell play around for an origin thing. Jase, he's a baller, and now he's, he's gone from range to the middle of a four, or a blackboard for four, over the ground. But your man Lewis Potter played in the left. We actually thought it was Dan's guy, didn't we, playing? - Yeah, yeah, that's really good. - But then we looked, yeah, he was really, really, technically good, strong, quick. He's one to watch as well, really good player. - And then there's the usual suspect, like, in more embers of right player, I'm fucking, I'll be shocked that he's not playing at one of the bigger clubs next year. - In Bremel? - Yeah. - You probably like to come to Liverpool because... - No, he doesn't have to play against... - Pandoy Jockey, the one out of the place. - No, he didn't ask him. - He can't know him. - He was part of the calm down the ball. - It was a, it was a dick that's watching Pandoy, just down the top. - Oh no, it's just the career stand out by me so far, it's been that loud, eh, from Phillip. - Mark and Rogers, I'm actually really, really jealous, 'cause I just... And going back to Woz, a player who probably hasn't got deployed, I think Saba's Law has had a four-quibillion stat in season one, probably, or Croy, and I think he's been excellent. - Seems to be the one that Slut looks to move around. When you know Slut talks, going back to Sunday, Slut talks about... We milled Saba's Law to the left-hand side because he talked, Casa Mira's gonna play, and you know, he's really over-till, and he wanted Saba's Law to be against him for the run-in pair. But you know, when Saba's Law goes out, or when, what's his name? Casa Mira goes off, Saba's there to come back over and to re-answer it, and has a little go of whoever's over there. I tell you one that stood out for me, and it's probably, when you're probably here to name, you probably think, fuck's it, obviously. But coverage, I'd see. When I watched him against Chelsea in the fourth day of the season... - He's a good footballer. - He's a really good footballer, but when I watched him at sea in the past, it was kind of like, he almost looked like a big parper. You know, comes on and just does little bits and go in the cameos. When I watched him against Chelsea, I'm not saying he was rotary, but he was very, very similar, more he don't, and he don't really well, he gets a goal as well. He's really impressed me, because I always thought he'd end up being one of those, he'd just be rotary's understudy forever, and in that I'll be here. But he's coming, and he's looked absolutely really good. Louis Diaz has got a mention in the chat from him. - Yeah, Diaz has been, look, Diaz has benefited big time from the new manager, because he knows exactly how to use him. He pulled closer to the box and closer to the goal, and it's finishing, it's been way better than usual. Yeah, look, I think we've done the show in the summer. I think every one of us all, but I just thought I'd think that was 'cause it's circumstance, and it's a lot. - A lot of what it's a circumstance of your failure is that I was just gonna keep shouting out until-- - Yeah, look, he's been excellent. Look, there's been a lot of the stand-out performance for the Kanate as well that's been fucking-- - Is there any teams you look at, and you go massively worried for them? Like, I know it's three games in, but you know, you're gonna go, they're never gonna stop considering goals, they're never gonna get enough goals, or the squad is tiny, or-- - Yeah, look, the obvious one is the F, like, it's, and you know what? Like, I think we-- Now, whoever's gonna stand at the room, I'm gonna be over there, song the line. Remember, for years, song the line just survived, and then they survived, and then they survived, and then they didn't, and they were gone, and they never came back. Or do you feel like that's the way everything are gone because they've a defensive manager, and that continued in three goals again. Like, they're hooking. - So, do you have brought in bro-hood, and you brought in your man Mangala, isn't it? - Yeah, well, look, it's not-- Look, I think the problems that everything are chronic, that chronic, I think a lot of it is to deal with the ground. All right, I think a lot of it's got to deal with what's going on after pitch, and it's spilled on, and, like, I speak the devil quite a bit, like, chatting about, and I would be the type of person that, when I see a team, I struggle, and I just look at that next, X amount, the results. - Yeah, I do what all of them say. - Where did they get points? And I'm thinking to myself, look, they could probably kick start that season if they get three points against Bahamut, and it was out on Saturday, and I checked, and they were telling me, look, and I literally looked at me found, then, wait, four minutes to go, and it was till one, and I was saying, "Ah, Bahamut, I'd like to get one back." And then, I basically just checked the four times, guys, and they were at the game being treated. - 'Cause you messaged those saying, "Everything I saw playing crack, Andy." I knew they were tearing it up, and then all you said to me said, "They must be drawn." And when I went there, I was treated, when I messaged you back home. - The thing is, don't-- - How much crack, Andy, 'cause it says treated, and you were like, I was definitely treated, why would I take it? - You know what it is, it's like, they used to have, like, everything for years, but have two or three gold players, who they could build around, like, calm them as always a gold player. You had someone look on Andy, you had Felaini, he was a gold player. Look, he went and got his own players at decent level. Do you have a lacquer, do you have a gold scorer, or do you have someone that can hang that hat on? That's the championship squad. That's the championship squad of players now. Okay, our front rate is Jack Harrison, Dwight McNeil, and Fokin'-- - Carpeton. - Carpeton. Look, the absolute bang of four-part manager or even the championship on any degree to the Premier League after half of that. I think that's fair because, you know, pick for England number one, but I think, and he's been that best player for probably three years, but he still has the odd thing in him. I think you look at calm and young, and I really back, and that's, like, I think, I nearly showed her about 76 between the age, between the table. Right, we're just fuckin' mad, right? You look at Mick and Lenko left back here the nightmare the weekend, but then you look at Kean, right? Terakowski, right? Brandweight is a good player, but he's ever injured at the minute. But you're Kean, and you've got Brandweight there. They've saw him in Japan, or Brian, and he brought me in from Leon. I don't think he has a look in, though, don't avoid. - And there's, well, the light that left Sheffield go to my side. - Yeah, and the raving about him, ever to brand, saying he's brilliant, and he's taken on four players at a time, and he'll get ya. You know, and I was gonna go on, yeah, but, you know, that was against Fokin' Doncaster during the week, and he was maybe okay against Bahamur, but it's his card and goals, what's he doing? But I think you're brilliant, I think, you know, you're bringing Mangala, and you're bringing, bro, bro, it's over to October, anyway, you know. - Mangala, which Mangala is this? - This is the good, I think his name is Mangala. He was with Leon and went to forest, and then Leon bought him back off forest in the summer, and then Leon and then loaned on everything. So we don't know what didle is going on, there, you know? - Yeah, I don't know, I just don't know. - He's also a player with 23 million euros, then loaned on him. - So I don't, like, I don't, I just don't see, I don't see where it comes from, and, you know, losing games like that, Fokin' hell. Like, even a point, point would've been yield for him on Saturday, and I mean that when I say it. - Your man and dear, is he alone, so I don't know, is he, does he pay him, what do you mean? - Your man and dear, that he got off. - Yeah, I think he paid 50 million or something for him. - Oh, okay, but the funny thing is, he strikes me of a player that was like your man. What was your man's name that went off? He was with, what's he with? Lester, I went off to Germany, and then he took him back. Remember the fella, he was with Lester, winger, and he went off to Germany and Rafa bought him for 1.2 million, and he came back, and he was that main attack on Trevor for about eight days, and once then, then Chandra, he didn't play him. - Oh, della fail, is it? - No, no, no, only recently, he only left last season. His name's got someone in the child telling me, that's what the soil reminds me of. This idea will come in, and he'd be a bit flier. He'd be sure for three games, he'd be decent for tail, and then don't you go, three out of five is a good enough, three out of five is a good enough of me, able to gap, and they'll fucking deal away with him. Do you let me worry about before we go, I'm worried for Southampton. I don't know if there's enough goals, and I'm worried for wolves. I feel like wolves are being... I don't know how many wolves the soil and the soil, but wolves to me feel like they've been pulled apart this summer, and maybe that's not the case, maybe just net or left. I'm not too sure. But I'm worried for them. I don't know. - I think I was a manager. I think that their new soil and didn't go down there, it got destroyed, but I don't know. - Gray was the winner, sorry, Gray, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, sorry. - Yeah, yeah, he was good. - Yeah, look, you're always worried about the three things that come up, it's great to have been decent. - Absolutely. - They gave you a pull again, then the older CE, and they got a draw against Volum, the older against Volum, I think they draw, don't they wanna have a point? You know, but he brought in some players in a banner and Smartix and where you think, you know what? If they can keep a toy, they have a few golds and they might have a few golds. - Yeah, yeah. Oh, I just... - Yeah, I think, I think everything might be balanced, to be honest with you. - It already feels to me like tree from foil. It's definitely going to be any more than that. It's going to be tree from foil. Wolf's last killman as well, of course, the West Ham's just kept. Yeah, I'll be just worried about that. And we probably come back and do a show like this after 10 games, you don't have the next interaction. Right, just to see. But I'm delighted you mentioned that I'm not a villa 'cause you went there on my hands, but I'm delighted you mentioned them, but... Look, loads of clubs had different variants, some of their supporters loved it, some of them didn't, and some that didn't have started well, and some that did look that were not having started so well, and those players that have caught the eye, and then there's some teams where you just don't go. You know, if you're down there, you need the oil to be solid at the back, or getting some golds, and there's a few teams down there that I don't think they're solid at the back, and I don't think they're getting enough golds. I gave them the score to go and see the 10 in the 4-3 games. - It's crazy. - Do you know what I mean? - If you look at, but if you look at Southampton, it's a handful of all these cards won't even see the fourth. Do you know what I mean? There's, you know, they're conceding too many in that score, and you can see that trend going already. But it'll probably settle down in the next couple of games. Anything else before we go? - No, no, I'm good. No, I'm good at it. I'm actually going to miss it. I'm going to, like, international football is allowed a gig. I can't believe I can't. - I don't even want to lose time. - I don't even want to lose time. I'm on November, like, it's healthy in that world, it's out that we don't need to be playing these many games. - No. - Like, it's just a bit of a fucking shield that I have. - Why don't you just pick three weeks November and play four games over the four? - Yeah, I don't do it. You know what? That has to be the best. Be proud of whoever it is. You look after playing welfare. You need to just fucking stick a fork in the now, because it is getting a little bit louder in terms of what it was. Like, it's too much. It's too much. And I think, sorry for my injuries, that we're going to see more of, like, the quality of the football, it's kind of diminished as well, because it's just, it's not sustainable. Teams are going to need 20 to 40 man squads with the money they're paying out now, amazing. It's just, it's kind of get to a stage now when it already is where football is eating itself. Like, there's more games in the Champions League. There's more international games that, like, teams are fucking after that club walk up in the summer. I don't know whether anyone saw it. Fucking Ruben Diaz put up the city schedule, basically, if they play, like, 80% of their games, well, what I mean, like, progress through Champions League groups and, and into the latest ages of the clubs. Like, it's crazy. It's absolutely... - It's basically three games a week for the entire season. - Yeah, it's crazy. It's not, it's not sustainable. And they're even fucking making their homes that are already standing competitions, but they own the car and club draw north, south, and then these teams can play that thing. - Seems in each other, Pete. - And there is no doubt about it, because... - If this isn't a sign that the teams are playing to them with football, then, like, what is... - Yeah, but that's the thing, you have to see the League Cup, because if you get them teams together, and the European games are, you know, one week on, one week off, you know, way too early to Europe and the things, well, there won't be any weeks for them to play them. That's what you have to keep from a part and go, right, Liverpool play on that week. Chelsea are in the conference, but they're not playing that week, they're playing the following week, so you wouldn't play a League Cup game then. - Chelsea have the League Cup rounds being played over two weeks, two mid-week now, the month. You know, it's madness. - It's fucking, it's crazy. It's like playing Champions League League games in January. Like, it's fucking stupid. - Yeah, it's wrong. - It's ridiculous, you know what? The Premier League had the biggest cupboard, because Spain, like, Spain and what they would, like, where the team is in the latest stages of Europe, that they give them the weekend off, like, we'll fit that in somewhere else beforehand, but we'll just get to the... Like... - But England can't do that, 'cause they have two competitions, and what happens is they actually overlap each other, so the League Cup finishes in early February, and the FA Cup starts in early January. So, there's actually, I would say, three weeks of the football season, where an actual cup is in life in the English game. And that's the four, three weeks of the Premier League season. When we come back on the 25th of September, we play West Ham, so, sorry, four weeks, and then literally for the rest of the season, if you remain in them cups, you are actively... That cup is a lot of... Both of them cups are a lot of together for the entirety of the season by the four, four weeks. - Yeah. - It's great when in them cups, and the way we won it last year, it was one of my favourite cup wins, as the Liverpool fan, just considering the circumstances. But, to be honest with you, and I'm mean, and when I say this, and if you have an issue where that's fair enough, or you would have absolutely no qualms about Liverpool walking there after this year, to be honest, oh, January... - They might end up doing something like that, because when you look at the amount of clarity of let go, that you would consider that might be in those squads for especially League Cup, or maybe FA Cup, they may have looked at them and, you know what? Our goal is to make sure we have champions in football, or we want to make sure we go well in Europe, or we want to make sure we're in a toilet race, and we're just deciding... We have put teams out for that, but we're not in any way by the way, because it's a new manager, it's a new way of doing things, we want to focus on this competition, and this competition. And those two competitions that manage are actually quite fucking difficult on their own, because there's eight group games, instead of six, runs right into the end of January, and then it's going to be the start of February. So, again, the first, I think, the first Champions League game is the 70th of September. So, for every week, by far weeks in the season, that Champions League is loyal as well. Do you know what I mean? It's not... - No, it's... - No breaking, so... - Yeah, it's not sustainable. - It's not sustainable, but the only way I can see something happening with it is if you get some big players on the approach into the likes of, you know, these, whatever, the fucking competition. - I know, Bellingham's already gone to FIFA. - Yeah. - He's gone to FIFA already. - And said enough. Yeah, and am I taking all of these? What is your way for league competitions to have the international ones, between the ones? It'll probably take someone going, listen, you're having this big finals, fucking event in Portugal, and I'm not going, I'm not fucking going. If that's my break, I don't give a fuck in the story, or it might take a couple of big players going into a Euros, or into a World Cup and going, I'm not playing it. I'm simply not playing it. And I love the World Cup, I love my country, but I physically can't go there and give everything for my country, 'cause I could literally break down and I'll be able to fucking play football again. And it might take someone like that. But at the end of the day, Shani, there's plenty of professional footballs over there that have a problem with this. They should be gone as a unit and saying, "All right, enough's a fucking nut here, right?" We get paid by our clubs to play football. You need to fit in around us, not the other way around. And all these conference leagues, or whatever the fuck you're ready for leagues they have, and nonsense. Just fucking qualify for tournament and play and throw your own friendly in here and there. Or what you do is you pick four weeks in October, November and you say, "For four weeks, they're all yours." You can play up the four games in those four weeks, and that's it. You're like getting them a fucking game for the rest of the season. But money, money, money, Shani, and everyone fucking bills. So that's the way it goes. Right, we're gonna get out of here. Thanks a lot for everyone for watching and listening and being members. The members got the comments tonight. Everyone who got to watch with the members got the comments. And we'll probably be back tomorrow, do a little bit more, we'll think about something. But tomorrow, I did suggest the quiz to Shani and Keith Jassy. And I won't even tell you what they said, but it was along the lines, "Would you ever go and fuck off?" So they won't be on the quizzes, right? It was so funny when I texted them. But Shani says, "I'll do that, I'll build the football box." You can fuck out your quizzes, but then I'm gonna get a lot of people to do quizzes that are like doing a book. We'll say, we will be-- Look, I'm gonna just say, look, the quiz is grand yet. I know I am competitive. And you'll be fucking, you'll be 80 points up going into the last round. And that basically just says, yeah, next time it's out of the winner. Yeah, but that's all good as it should be. Yeah, yeah, well, Janal, many points ahead, Shani, 84. But I'll tell you what, Chris, I'll give you 86 points if you get this one, right? And Shani, you'll only get, well, it has to be balanced. Let's see. So good, so good. Anyway, we're back tomorrow, won't be a quiz. Look at all the set you got at the Mirror, mention of it. That has been, that has been Shani. Thanks everyone in the chat.
