vengeance in four years for Spain, Canada, France whatever but that is what motivated him but to hear Tatum say something like that like they have to lock in and whatever they did in the off season leading into the regular season however they approach the regular season day to day you got to do that again you got to do that if not more because as Missoula is saying it the target is right between our eyes it's going to be even harder as talented as they are as deep as they are as just all around elite as they are on all levels of basketball targets going to be bigger going to be between the eyes to hear from Tatum to see it from Brown what they've been doing that's what's big end of the day man we know the the ownership of the Celtics keep swirling these guys don't care because they know it's right effing now to repeat before that second apron and every Peter tax comes knocking tight it's real it's real this year that's what I love about this season come up in the NBA before stuff gets real with a second apron it's a hard cap it's not soft it's hard as the owners ask for an office peeps this is the last go for the Celtics to repeat they need to do it now for sure all right about the Timberwolves upcoming season man I'm excited to see this one I want to see the jump that we get from Anthony Edwards on time because we saw what he did of carrying that team being on the spot wanting the ball in his hand late in games and just honestly having like the sports world in the palm of his hand which bled into the Olympics but we saw his legs run out like he just simply didn't have any more juice towards the end cool bet going to the off season how do you hit the weight room how do you hate conditioning how do you come back to get your body through an 82 game regular season and then win 16 games in the post season because that's what it's all about and however long that can end up taking as well I'm excited I look at this team and when you do think about it you go what can they be they could be western conference champions I wouldn't be shocked at all it's because of Anthony Edwards it's because of how they attacked the draft as well getting a Tarrant Shannon junior trading after he's drafted for Rob Dillingham a guy we both love we were like yo we wait cuz it was San Antonio right we're like the Spurs got him with wemby yeah look let's get and then they traded him to T wolves I'm like why would San Antonio do that but I love that the T wolves did that because that's a shot creator a slasher and an NBA ready guard to play off of Anthony Edwards the question is man and this is where the red flag is with this team you got to go through green flags you got to go through red flags it's just like when we're on dating apps around Boston right I'm two years retired though luckily what is the red flag with this team right what's the red flag with it to go to the NBA finals it's too Rudy go there and Carl Anthony towns I love what Ant-Man pulled out of Carl Anthony towns to breathe confidence into him but they hold it back and it's because of how big their cap hits are and how they're already over the second apron like if it doesn't happen now and they have to break things up it's going to be because of those two too like it's it is it's for every team but it is the window is right now before it could shut for this creation of the timbre wolves yeah the window is now like you said the it's a gonna go on Carl Anthony towns it's gonna go on Rudy go bare but everyone got paid George everyone got paid so their window is super super short even though we're there a young team you talked about Rob Dillingham you talk about Terrence Shannon there are guys that are going to help them out in the future and it's going to be there for forever but Rudy may not he might have to get moved on. Kat may not he might have to get moved on eventually because everyone got paid they got paid ain't got paid McDam got paid everybody gets paid in Minnesota and when you got 75 owners and we don't know who's on in the day and on in tomorrow you know what I mean type of situation with a small market team that second apron is scary as heck you know what I'm saying so you got to be a team that has to go out there and win right now and I think they did that with it in the draft like you said that's what they went in got guys who are going to bring instant offense because we you know as an NBA fan you and I know that them losing Carl Anderson was a huge loss for them this offseason you know what I'm saying huge so if these two young guys can come in and kind of add to their team and be good players immediately that would be fantastic the you know you would pat the GM on the butt tap coach fits on the back of the back and say hey man you guys did that you know so they're really going to have a tough time because there's timeline is so small for a team that's just now starting to figure it out but man you get to meet at in February asked me then like hey hey do you think this team is a finals team if they're sitting there like 4045 wins I'm gonna look at you and say hey George this team is legit you know what I'm saying so we'll see I'm not I'm not afraid to speak finals with this team I'm afraid to speak finals with the nuggets like as crazy as it is I hate the nuggets offseason you know what the T wolves did with their off season but you're right I mean you lose slow mo is a guy whether it's been with the timber wolves with the grizzlies with the spurs just to name a few of his stops he's always been a significant piece Sharon Shannon Jr. a little smaller he is he does have a big build but he's not as long as Kyle Anderson at least he has it on both ends of the floor like a good defender at Illinois a good offensive player at Illinois as well and dealing him we know can get downhill and get buckets different but I feel like tired Shannon can help fill would not do it himself can help fill that Kyle Anderson void because you get into the postseason guys like slow mo matter what I'm excited for they brought my boy Nas Reed he's still there my boy from Jersey who is huge especially matching up on the perimeter brings that shooting as a he's tall but a thinner forward where he could play that five that four but match up and defend people on the perimeter you could trust him there any can shoot I love Nas Reed it's interesting how they can replace Kyle Anderson but they got 82 games in the regular season to figure that out I'm not worried about this team first round second round I think this is a team western conference finals floor finals ceiling am I able to say NBA champion yet no because the Celtics loom on the other side but if they get into the finals I wouldn't be shocked yeah definitely not ready to say NBA champion because I the way the Celtics look like they are prepared it looks like it's already a done deal you might as well give Tatum is pinky ring right now George I don't you know really like any of the best that I've seen I think I kind of like hitting the over 52 and a half wins this season for the temper walls but I'm not really sold on that one just yet are there any bets from this team that you like Anthony Edwards MVP 13 and 1 I mean it's a narrative award right tell you know Kitch and Donchitch and the three best players in the league right now the SGA is about to come up and get into that combo I think the Nuggets do fall off of the back-to-back long seasons it had including the Olympic run by Nicole Yokech Donchitch I just don't know what will get from him Janice could be the wild card and come out even more motivated than ever and being back to be the effing dog that he is but Anthony Edwards is the eye that is just like the diamond in the eye of everyone that watches the NBA's most charismatic guy the league loves him writers love him he's so good that because of the narrative oh yeah and he's in a lead baller bro at 13 to 1 I think that's a really good number on Anthony Edwards I would be surprised if he wins MVP because I think it would be an SGA Aluca maybe a honest or Tatum answers a combo maybe a Jalen Brunson plays party record because of the Knicks but again I'm thinking narratives 13 to 1 for a great narrative like Anthony Edwards I do like that yeah you know what I just thinking of and I haven't looked at the numbers right I would kind of like to see what the numbers are for Go Bear winning Deep Boy again you know why because we talked about disrespect and being locked in and all that other stuff we talked about the disrespect that Tatum and Brown saw you know throughout the off season with Team USA and all of that stuff this summer Rudy kind of have the same you know what I mean he had disrespect coming from France he got bench he was supposed to be their best player we know when he is but he's supposed to be their premier best player on their team right he's coming off the bench for them later in the second half of that Olympic run and then on movie where their butting heads they hate each other but they need to get out of trouble they're using each other to hustle and even I think one of the best cameos I've ever seen in a movie is a guy that's from your area from LA Marquis Johnson in that scene where the play pickup they hustled they're getting the argument he goes that's it I'm going to my car I'm getting my gun I'm showing everybody's ass and they dart out of there Marquis Johnson to this day is a legend for executing those lines I just love white man can't jump in and the soundtrack everything they finally play one on one at night and like that side like just deserted lot but there's a hoop in it dude I just I love it and then they finally get Gloria on jeopardy and she gets him out of it I that's such a good movie white man can't jump for me bro yeah man that's a great movie white man can't jump look I can't lie to you the remake with Jack Harlow I'm not going I'll never watch no I don't care to watch it you went to the University of Texas El Paso which used to be called Texas Western who won the 1966 NCAA championship and men's college basketball and when they did that they were the first team to win a national championship and also to start an all black starting five in college basketball so I absolutely love that story my movie that I love is Glory wrote it kind of brought that story to light for me but if you haven't seen that movie it's a hilarious movie it's heartfelt it's got some great moments of you know it's Disney-ified so it's like the stories are you know blown up a little bit but you know I have the opportunity of playing at UTEP Willy Cager came to all of our games I made sure I dapped him up before every single game that we played and that I played at the University of Texas El Paso at home having Willy there learning knowledge from him before he passed away man it was just a special opportunity to get close to somebody that I looked up to growing up as a kid just you know helping pave the way for guys like me to have basketball as an opportunity as an outlet for us to express ourselves and be you know good human beings and use the game to do more it was just such a great feeling to be able to meet him and meet guys around that team and playing the Don Haskins Center and you know all of that type of stuff so I love Glory wrote it's not the best basketball movie ever but man I sure do love it I quote it all the time so my boys know show them how to make a layup slowly mose is way you know that makes a little regular over the hand layup or whatever and you know they're like nah I gotta do it with style coach you know so yeah I love that movie it doesn't have to be the best as to be the best to I think all those reasons are great that's also saying it was above the ramp coach Carter Glory Road those were the three that was like I want them but yeah man what it means to you and I agree the message is amazing I didn't know Utep used to be Texas Western I get why they rebrand you don't want to be a directional school as I say I think Utep is fire as hell well that's really cool to know that Texas Western is now Utep I had no idea yeah it is to talk about something that's important to us right now the sun faced the aces to night alright to team that could match up in the WNBA finals if the aces happen to get there because I'm already claiming that my son are getting there George how important is this game for these teams tonight I mean both it's huge we know the run that Asia Wilson's been going on but for the sun I mean this is it like the son of a deeper team but then the aces have the best player in the league and of course she's got some great teammates with her it's just so hard to pick I want to go aces just because I want to go with the best player in this matchup with the CT son come in and upset the aces in this one by the way that's a game with the one and a half point spread so that just shows you how tight these two teams are and the sun have been hotter as of late winning five of their last seven so they've been getting it right I think this game is huge and you mentioned I mean it's a finals preview this is what's great for the league we see the teams have clinch playoff spots both of them obviously have but these are the games that find tuners before you get into the postseason of how ready are we what's a taste of what we get I'ma go with white T wearing Asia Wilson I'ma keep it simple I like the aces in this matchup I just gotta go with the best player but it's tough the sun are that good with the Wanna Bonner and everyone else they bring to the floor yeah son at home I'm taking the sun on this one look the aces have been struggling throughout this season and it's crazy to say that oh they're struggling and they're fourth and the tired WNBA but they have a super team they got the Avengers just like playing team USA basketball whenever you play the aces they had like four ladies on the USA team this summer there's no excuse for them to be this bad especially when Asia is playing out of her mind I mean she's literally leading the league and scoring since the Olympic break she was carrying team USA with Brianna Stewart she's just been having a fantastic season and like you said she's winning her white tees because she's coming in locked in but the sun are just been unbeatable basically since the break as well Marina Mayberry she's been coming in and just lighting the floor up and giving them that scoring kick that they really really needed on a consistent basis the Wanna Bonner you know what she does she's scoring a basketball you know what Alyssa Thompson is doing you know what a DJ Nae Carrington is bringing to the floor she's locking everybody up one of the greatest defenders in the WNBA I think the sun are gonna come out because they also have to play the aces again before the season ends before we get to playoffs I think they're gonna come out on their home court try to make a statement coming off a loss of the Seattle Storm that they were not happy about they're gonna be locked in and they're gonna go at the aces from tip to finish you know what I mean they're gonna be locked in so I'm excited to see this matchup I don't even know what I'm gonna have to do split screen or something NFL on this screen sun on this screen because this is gonna be a good one I love what smart is I mean the NFL is going like gonna have the game on Peacock which is so dumb WNBA is just gonna be accessible on ESPN throw it throw on that game people are gonna be shuffling and you know what good for the WNBA I mean the audience continues to grow the sport continues to grow it's gonna be an awesome arena being a Mohegan son and guess what everyone's gonna be looking for this game on Friday be like oh wait I can't watch it boom throw on ESPN everyone's gonna be watching that one I like it we're head to head on this one right I just love that it's just tough for me to bet against Asia Wilson but that's when I look at the Sun I said it's a start like the Sun are so deep they have so much talent I'm not gonna be shocked if the Sun lose Sun excuse me
