This show's always been about America and just old school common sense. It's not about left or right. He called it a 10 a.m. today. It's more about right or wrong. It's about cutting through the noise and finding the truth. It's uncomfortable talking about all of this stuff. Finding things we have in common, not what divides us. It's about we the people. We do news. We do sports. We do entertainment. And we have a damn good time in the process. [MUSIC PLAYING] All right, folks. Here we go. It's Tuesday. I want to say it's Monday so fast. It's not Tuesday. It is Tuesday. This is my show. I had to be spending some time with you. Guys, I hope you had an amazing Labor Day weekend. So much good football. We're so back. We're so back. Can't wait to talk about it with you here in a second. But real quick, it's a little quiet around these parts today. I just saw Ginger asking if it just goes feeling better. This goes actually feeling better. He's actually in the studio. He's just not on the show today. We've got a bunch of other stuff that we're working on. So we're repurposing some personnel. And Tom's not here today, either. So it's just me, all by my lonesome, with one of my favorite people ever, Krista Teding. So I haven't been alone on my show for a long time. It used to just be me, and then started working in some of the cast and crew. And here we are. To this is how we're doing it. You'll never believe, though, what Tom Cunningham's doing today. Are you ready for it? Tom Cunningham is not here today because he is officiating a wedding. You heard that right. Tom Cunningham is officiating a wedding. And it's just amazing. It's just amazing to think about. I want to be there. It's not that I don't want to be here with you. I just want to see how. And here's the deal. Tom has his soliloquies and stories and this, that, and the other. And Tom is Tom, right? He's kind of our quirky guy with tons of knowledge. But Tom is such a genuine, good-hearted, amazing person that the version of Tom that will officiate this wedding will be a mixture of a couple of things. But man, he'll do a great job. He'll do a great job. Great heart on that guy. Lots to get to today. Lots that we're going to cover. College football being a big thing. Just got back from Ann Arbor, had a blast up there at the game with family. We're going to talk about this space story, which just keeps getting weirder. We're going to talk about how gangs are spreading beyond. It starts in Aurora. It spreads beyond there. And not just like a little bit beyond there, like much further beyond there. So we'll talk about that. We've got some Trump and Elon News. We've got all sorts of stuff we're going to get into. But folks, with all this craziness going on in the world, I want to talk to you about protecting your retirement, protecting your wealth. That hard earned savings account 401k IRA or a combination therein of all of them. And I want to talk to you about doing it with precious metals. It's hard to know in this day and age who to trust our partners at Genesis Gold Group are a faith driven gold and silver company that are unabashedly America first. They don't try and hook people up with free silver that, of course, isn't really free. Instead, they treat their customers with respect, help guide them to securing their retirement. And they do it in a very, very professional manner. There's no brow beating. This will be a great call for you. So I encourage you to go get a free definitive gold guide. Talk to someone there. You can do so by filling out a very basic form at goldwithdrew.com. Again, that's goldwithdrew.com. You can see it there on the screen. And then you can also read it in the description of the show today. So go check it out. Make sure you're protecting those hard earned savings. Okay. It was a glorious weekend in sports. College football gave us not one Saturday. No, no. Not a Thursday and a Saturday. Mm hmm. Five straight days of bliss. Of bliss. Let's get into it. So we are so back, you guys. We're so back. I know the country's breaking, but just stick with me for a second here because I'm happy. If I'm happy, you should be happy. We're all doing this together as the crew, right? I mean, we're doing it. We're in the trust tree, I thought. So let's, let's do this. But that we're going to, I'm going to just brad, don't worry. Some of you are here for news and politics. We're going to get to that too. There's, there's plenty of stuff. We're going to scratch all your riches today. We're going to get into all of it. But before we even talk about some games and just some of the atmospherics and scores and outcomes of said games, my family's trip up to Ann Arbor for the Michigan Fresno State game. We got to, we've got to address just how amazing the environments are in college football. Some people don't get how there's that much of a difference. Well, pros are supposed to be better, right? Because they're the pros. No, no, no. They are. They're great athletes. I enjoy pro football too. I'm excited to have both college and NFL this week. But the environment is just so freaking good in college football. The tradition, the pageantry, all of it is just amazing. So we've got to show just a little bit of that because it was back and it was back in full force. And if you're offended by rivalies and some choice language here, you might not like this. But we're in Tuscaloosa, right? And they're playing, they're playing in western Kentucky. They win. They win big as they're expected to. But just listen, listen to the whole stadium sing along with their version of this song. Take a listen. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [LAUGH] It's so good. It's so good. You don't just have a couple frat boys or sorority girls sing in this song. You have tens upon tens of, I don't want to say that the full stadium is. You have so many people though singing it in unison. Dixie Land delight, their version though, F Auburn, which is said before we cut in midway through that song there. It's said so many times before that. But then they get into an LSU two and Tennessee two and it's just, I think it's just absolutely amazing. That's what makes, is it, is it, is it kind? No. Is that college sports and particularly college football? Apps are frickin' lutely. That's America. And then there's, this is a scene from, we have videos I'm not going to show ours because my kids are in them. But we have scenes. So Michigan has this thing that started back about eight years ago, 2016, where going into the fourth quarter, they play Mr. Brightside, which has, of course, nothing to do if you've ever heard the song and you have. And I apologize in advance because it's going to be stuck in your head the rest of the day. But it has nothing to do with football, but it just was played on a whim. And everyone, it caught fire and everyone got into it. And now it's every home game as the fourth quarter starts. It happens. And it just, we were there for the Fresno State game this weekend. It was a night game. And at night you get just the amazing light show in the atmosphere. And you'll hear the crowd singing it too. Anyways, here was a scene of the game that we were at, which we won. We'll talk about the aspects of the game later. But here's Mr. Brightside and Ann Arbor at the big house. [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] [Crowd cheering] I mean, that hits good. I don't care who you are. That hits good. And again, you're going to have that song stuck in your head. You're welcome. But it's just amazing. And it's amazing. And not just the Michigan part. Obviously, we're Michigan homers here. But you have the whole crowd singing at the end. The music cuts off. They still go. Doesn't matter. It's just amazing. The environment being back on campus was great. Again, we'll talk about that in a second. But let's get on to a couple key games. I'm going to just touch up on a few. And then we'll get into some news, some politics. Again, there's lots of things that we want to touch on. But we started our journey. Our five-day journey on Thursday night. Several games Thursday night. We'll see that we'll just touch on quick. The first of which was this one here. You got North Carolina visiting Minnesota. The Golden Gophers hosting them. ACC versus Big Ten. Two solid programs. Giving after it for a second straight year. They had a home and home agreement. And the game really was pretty sloppy. The weather was sloppy. Granted. Super nasty night. It was delayed for a while. There was some stuff going on there. The new transfer quarterback Bosmer was kind of underwhelming for the Gophers, to say the least. And neither team scored a touchdown in the second half. Just exchanged field goals. And Minnesota could have won in a walk-off field goal. They ended up losing 19 to 17. They could have won in a walk-off field goal attempt. They miss North Carolina wins as the clock expires. And just to add insult to injury. The crew at the stadium accidentally deployed the fireworks. Even though they lost. So the Gophers lose on this heartbreaking kick. And we like to go for some. From Minnesota, you know, I like Michigan better. But we're from Minnesota. We like them. You know, have family that played for the Gophers. And it was pretty humiliating because you end up losing the game. And then accidentally fire the fireworks off. As you're all just frustrated in and in this feeling of despair. But UNC's want to know Minnesota 0 and 1. And that's where it is. That same night though, Dion Sanders led Colorado buffaloes. Obviously lots of energy and passion surrounding that program right now. They hosted an FCS stalwart in North Dakota State University. The bison have been outstanding for a long time. Everyone should have known this was not going to be a cakewalk. And it wasn't. It was super tight. Colorado won in the N 31 26. Shoulder Sanders, Travis Hunter ended up being a little too much for them. Oh gosh, this Travis Hunter kid is just freaking outstanding. But I tell you what, it was a close game. It was a good game. It was entertaining to watch. North Dakota State played their hearts out. It was too much in the end with Colorado there. But you got to just look at this team. If you're if you're into college sports and you can be all about it. I get the excitement that happened last year with prime time with Dion Sanders coaching with his two sons, Jadore in particular, who's a stud quarterback just Travis Hunter kid. There's a lot of stuff there, but you got to remember they went four and eight last year. And you look at how they struggled against an FCS team this week, granted one of the best FCS teams, but they struggled still. And then you look at their schedule. I still I'm just I'm going on record. I'd be shocked if they get above six wins. I think it's going to be another tough year for the buffs. And at the end, I'm not saying any I'm not encouraging or suggesting any change. Quite the contrary, actually, I think that they should stay the course, but you're going to lose some of their top players after this year. They're going to be playing on Sundays next year. And while Dion has brought energy and admissions are through the roof, the local economy through the roof, there's, there's some huge impact in the Colorado University sphere in the Boulder area. If there's there's no two ways about it. You cannot deny it. But college football is about winning. You got to win games and I think they're going to struggle to get past six this year. I could be totally wrong and we'll just see, but I think that they're I think that it's going to be tough. They play a tough slate in the big 12. So we'll see where that goes. And certainly lots more football to talk and lots more Colorado football in particular to talk throughout the year. But for the third game, we're going to skip past Friday. You know, you had Oklahoma dominate. You had some other things happen Friday night. And we're going to go to Saturday and you had a noon kickoff. You had Georgia and Clemson. Playing in Atlanta. And we're going to skip past this game pretty quick because Clemson seemed to skip this game. Georgia just curbs don't have to piss out of them. Bulldogs looking amazing. 134 to three showed that they're the real deal as expected. Davos Winnie's Clemson team. Realizing they got to get things sorted out. I mean, you have Florida State. We'll talk about in a second here. So into Clemson, Oh, and one and the two kind of big dogs, right? And the ACC have come out and and fired blanks. Really, really going to be an interesting year again. 34 to three there. Then this one was interesting. You go to the swamp interesting unless you're a Gators fan. That is, but Miami went into Gainesville and straight up embarrassed the Gators. 41 to 17. You had Washington State transfer quarterback, Cam Ward, who just was electric, was poised, was efficient. Was all those things, 385 yards, three touchdowns. He did throw a pick, but 385 yards, three, three, three tuddies. And you got Billy Napier and the Gators who have one of the toughest schedules in the country. And I, I, I don't know the guy. I'm just here to tell you, I don't see how he makes it out of this year without losing his job. There's already a lot of concerns and frustrations in Gainesville. The Florida Gators are supposed to be better. They're supposed to be more consistent. They're none of those things right now. The question right now, honestly, is not does he make it beyond this year. The question is, does he even make it through this year? Then the game that my family and I went to, we went, went back up to Ann Arbor, which was, which is great. Such an amazing town. Fresno State comes in. Mountain West team plays the defending national champion Michigan Wolverines. And man, it wasn't comfortable. I'll tell you that much. I mean, it was 16 to 10 at one point late in the game. Fresno State gets their first and only touchdown, but it was 16 to 10. And we get another score. Colston Loveland scores. Davis Warren got the start of quarterback. But it was tight. It was tight. And then they're driving and Will Johnson, there's three picks on this series. I don't know if you guys watched the game, but three picks. Two of which called back by penalties. The second of which was a roughing the passer called. The quarterback didn't go down. They touched him. I have no idea what that was. But then Will Johnson gets a third pick on that series, takes it all the way back. It was a pick six. And the crowd goes wild. So lots of question marks. The offense has a lot of work to do this week before Texas comes to town next week. But it was really fun. You saw, you know, the one video of Mr. Brightside earlier, you know, the place was packed 110,665 people. The big house always does things right. And they did yet again. It was a fun, fun night, fun for my kids and wife to see it and take it all in. Really, really fun deal. Again, a lot of work for Michigan to do. Then just real quick, a couple others. Probably the biggest game of the weekend. Really tight game. Notre Dame goes into Kyle Field, College Station to play Texas A&M. I got to get the tail end of this game after the Michigan game. Not very much, but low scoring, tight contest. Most of it, it was six to six and one point. 13 to 13 and one point. And in the end, Notre Dame left College Station with a very impressive 23 to 13 win. The Mike Elko era in Texas A&M is off to a 011 start. Of course, he's playing against his former quarterback at Duke in Riley Leonard, who led Notre Dame to that victory. But that was, that was a great game. Great environment. One of the best environments in all of college football. And then just on to Sunday and Monday games. Sunday night, LSU, USC went after it in Vegas. In the end, USC was up to the challenge. Miller Moss, the new quarterback, who's obviously taking over after the Caleb Williams era, looked good. USC defense actually played well, which is kind of a weird thing for a Lincoln Riley coach team. So that was good. They won 27 to 20. Miller Moss through for 378 yards, a touchdown. And then Monday night, just to cap off our five day extravaganza, Boston College, who has Bill O'Brien now is their head coach. Obviously a guy who's coached at Penn State. He's coached the Texans. He's coached all over the league. He's coached with the Patriots. He's coached at Alabama as an assistant. So been all over. Boston College goes into Florida State, who had lost to Georgia Tech in Ireland the week prior. Little bit of panic mode there. They couldn't afford to lose you guys. And they just did. Mike, Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles lost. They're oh and two. And literally guys, they're essentially out of, at this point, the college football playoff picture. And we just finished week one. Now it's a little bit of an extra deal for them because they played in week zero. So they've played two games faster than anyone else other than Georgia Tech. But they're essentially done. They could run the table. Yes, absolutely. They could run the table in the ACC, get themselves into the college football playoff. But that's what they're going to have to do. And their slate ahead is really difficult. I mean, they've got SMU, they've got Clemson, Miami, North Carolina. They have Notre Dame. And of course they have Florida who, yes, they're struggling and have issues there. But you can't count anyone out in big rivalry games. So they're going to struggle and they just, I mean, they can't afford a singular loss at this point. Barring a absolute radical change that happens across the board. I just don't see a path forward for them. And really the question becomes now, not are they going to make the playoff. It's, even though they were double digit picks in both of their first two games and lost both of them. The question is, are they even going to a bowl game? We'll see. Coming up this week, just real quick. Some big games, college football report put out their top 10. I agree with most, the top one is absolutely not just because I'm biased. Just straight up is the best game. Texas going into the big house to play Michigan. Terrified about that. Don't feel good about it. Not even a little bit. But hopefully it's just a good game. Tennessee, North Carolina State is going to be a great one. Colorado, Nebraska is going to be a great one. Kansas and Illinois. Iowa State, Iowa. Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Tulane. Boise State, Oregon. Oregon barely, barely all beat Idaho. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. They're going to be a great one. Houston on two. You've got a question about Starliner? Houston's with you, butch. Go ahead. The strange noise coming through the speaker. I didn't know if you could connect into the Starliner and let me see if I can let you hear. I don't know what's making it, but I don't know if there's something that maybe is connected between here and there, making that happen. But anyway, can you do that? We can configure that butch. Give us a minute and I'll call you back when it's ready. Okay. They shouldn't use it on two. We're configured for audio via hardline and CST. If you want to give us a call. Okay. I'm in Starliner. How do you read? Five by five. How many? I said, okay. I'm going to put them. I'll take the mic up next to the speaker. Copy. Hear that? At negative butch, we did not hear anything. All right. Butch, that one came through. It was kind of like a pulsing noise. It was almost like Schonorping. I'll do it one more time in the hardtail screech area to see if he can turn on what's going on. Here we go. All right. Overused. Hello, sir. Good recording. Thanks, Butch. I'm going to pass it on to the team and let you know what we find. And Butch just to be, make sure I'm on the same page. This is emanating from the speaker in Starliner. You don't notice anything else. Any other noises? Any other weird configs in there? Very nice. There's something healthy and thoughtful. Okay. Thank you. I mean, that has to be pretty concerning slash terrifying. I would think you're stuck in space. Butch, you weren't planning on. And now there's this unknown unidentified noise emanating from the ship. Can't be good. Again, you're trained to go up there. You're trained to deal with stuff. And you have this thick skin that's been hopefully built up and muscle memory built in to handle different types of situations. I get it. But also at a certain point, your nerves get frayed. You're tired. You're done. And you start to lose some of these mental battles and you're stuck out there missing, you know, your family missing a family events and just life events. And you keep getting told things are delayed. And then you hear this random noise and you're like, Oh boy, this can't be good. I just can't imagine. I can't imagine. Now NASA's come out and said that they think that it's some sort of a feedback issue between some of the calm systems with all the different spacecraft and equipment that they have up there. It doesn't sound like feedback to me. It sounds like sonar to me. But if you're the astronauts, if you're these two astronauts, it's definitely eerie to you. You're probably questioning things. I'm sure Tom would have a very interesting take on what this sonar was. The starliner, by the way, is set to undock, uncrewed without people on it. It's as early as this Friday. So we'll see what happens with that. But I thought we had to bring it up. Then we've discussed this Venezuelan gang problem in Aurora. We've shown video armed Venezuelan illegal immigrant gang members taking over an apartment complex in Aurora law enforcement doing nothing. Governor Jared Polis doing nothing. Just kind of hoping it all goes away. Well, it goes beyond the apartment complexes now. As we've warned, what happened? Especially when you don't keep it in check, right? Especially when there's no strong firm measured response. It's just, I hope that they stop doing this, which is, of course, not a plan. Hope's not a plan. But now it's extended into the suburbs. We've got some security footage from a home in the suburbs outside of Denver. Showing illegal immigrant Venezuelan gang members carrying semi automatic weapons. And you can see them here going after stuff in the garage. Take a look. It's mostly quiet. Now they're into the garage itself. What do we want? What do we see in here? Just doing a little suburban shopping. I'm going to take this motorcycle. That looks good. Third member shows up now. Now, to my knowledge, in this particular instance, there was no harm done in terms of violence. No one was hurt. No shots were fired. But you can see how quickly conflicts can happen, how confrontations can happen. You can see, obviously, that what was just occurring there is illegal. The people who were perpetrating the crimes here illegally. So many, so many points of failure on this. And yet Colorado and its officials are terrified to do anything. They're terrified to do anything. But it's expanding beyond this because people start to think, oh man, this is always right. This is always the issue. You have folks who think couldn't happen to my town. Wouldn't happen to me. Wouldn't happen to my neighborhood. That's a big mistake. Don't think that way. Hope that way. Don't think that way. Don't operate that way. And then you have these officials so we can't upset these people. So what do we do? Do we just kind of like sit back and hope that it goes away? You see all this and then what happens is naturally, as is the case, is you get a little bit more freedom. You get a little bit feeling more entitled. You feel like, hey, I'm not going to get caught or I'm not going to face any resistance here. What am I going to do? I'm going to go get more. I want more. I want to spread my territory. I want to get more things. So they're going to the suburbs now in those areas. Very, very different. And here's the deal, folks. It's not just in Aurora and it's not just even where I'm about to show you either. This is going to naturally spread particularly in blue states that have weak policies on this. But it's going to spread and it did. There was a 911 call. This was a 911 call this weekend in Chicago, Illinois. Way, way far away. From Aurora and Denver, Colorado. Here was the call. Take a listen. In the center, I'm sitting right at person with a gun, 6124 South King Drive. Colored south. Thirty-two, Venezuela's are trespassing the building. Showing guns in the courtyard and they have motorcycles in the courtyard as well. Also, while they're filled. Nothing further is unclear. And it'll continue here in a second. Hey, I'm sorry. You headed over to the shop letter to the 6124 on King for the migrants. Okay, good. Okay, 10-4. There's another available unit to arrive at 3-10. We had multiple calls. First, with a gun, 6124 South King. Also, come over to the servants' lunch gathering. It'll be 32 minutes long. Shop passing in the building. Property showing guns in the courtyard. They have motorcycles in the doorway. There will build. Nothing further. So, by the way, if you looked at and read the transliteration of whatever program they used, whoever put that post out, it's kind of funny. Like, at one point, he's like, "Hey, girl." Which is not what he actually said, but that's just kind of how they... That's how they transliterated. But you've got 32 Venezuelans-ish, armed. Many of them taking over this complex. And again, this is not Aurora. This is not Denver. This is Chicago. To which most of you were saying, that's not surprising, and it's not, right? It's not surprising. Frankly, this is happening anywhere, because we've left our border completely open, and you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes, and that's what we're seeing experiencing together as a country right now. But you see this, and you see this in blue states where officials don't want to upset anyone. So, rather than enforce the laws that we have on our books, they just let things slide. They don't make examples of people. And that is why you're seeing this spread. That is why you're seeing an apartment complex now in Chicago taken over. And you'll see one taken over somewhere else. And you'll see them start to, just like they did in the Denver area, spread into the suburbs, and spread their wings and their reach. Because there's no consequences or ramifications for their actions. And until you start to see more of this happening, more actual, actual justice being served, that is, which we're not seeing now. Until you start to see that, you're not going to even make a small, tiny, miniscule, you know, little dent in what they're doing. Now, obviously, the bigger issue is stopping this before it starts and closing the damn border, because you're not a country without borders. We're not a sovereign nation as we're operating today. So, you've got to fix that. But now that this has happened, and this is going to be, if Trump were to win, this is going to be a situation of, okay, obviously, step one has put the tournament on. Let's stop the bleeding here. Let's close the border. But we've got all this damage that's been done. There's all this riff-raff. And they're still here doing what they want to do. Some of them well-intentioned, even though they're breaking the law and should be sent home because of it, but some of them well-intentioned, and others not, like we're seeing here with this Venezuelan gang. So, you are going to see more of this, but even if you do quell it, you've got to figure out a way to shut this down and send a strong message so they at least are concerned about, should we do this? Word is, from back home, we're supposed to do this. We're supposed to terrorize this. Or we're just awful people and we're going to do it because we think that there's going to be a positive end game for us. Whatever the case might be, it doesn't matter. They at least have to question whether this is going to end well for them or not. And right now, they don't. They just are, hey, they paid for me to come here. They're giving me benefits. They're giving me money. I've got connections to get weapons. I can terrorize people, and they're going to always choose us over their own citizens, which makes no sense whatsoever. But that's where things are. And man, it is. It is a scary situation. And I'll tell you this, I'm not saying operate scared. Don't operate scared. But I am saying operate smart and understand that wherever you might live, you're better off in a red state for sure. Do I feel like this could happen in Florida? Yes. Do I feel like if it did happen, it would be handled differently? Also, yes. It doesn't mean you can't lower your guard and assume the best. But if you're somewhere else in particular, but again, really just anywhere, be mindful that these people don't share the same values as you. They don't share the same sentiment for our country. They don't, they don't, they don't care about our rules. And even if they do understand them, they don't follow them. So you can never, it's like with lone wolf terror attacks. It's like with so many things. You can't assume you're not going to be somewhere where something bad happens. You can't assume that, hey, my movie theater is better than theirs. My grocery store is safer than theirs. My neighborhood is safer than theirs. That's just a really, really bad assumption in 2024. It always has been, but frankly right now, you're, if, if that is your mindset, odds are you're 100% fine. Everything's going to be good. But as things change rapidly and things deteriorate around our country, particularly our, our laws and the enforcement of them, which is opening up the gates for all of this stuff, if your mindset is, it can't happen to me. You're being reckless. And particularly if you have a family, a spouse, children, elderly people living with you, whatever your situation is. Again, don't operate scared. Just operate prepared and smart and don't have this mindset that it can happen because this kind of stuff is going to spread, whether we want it to or not. And yes, I do think it's going to spread more in states that are predominantly blue or led by, by blue leadership, fingerprints. I think you're going to have more, more issues in those places, obviously. Because again, if this happens in Texas or Florida, DeSantis and Abbott, and I'm not saying those two are the same, by the way, but between them, the people underneath them and just the citizenry, it's not going to go as well. And they know that too, right? The other side knows that these people know that. But if you're in California or you're in New York or Illinois or Denver, or excuse me, I'm saying states, so I should say states, Colorado, you get the point. You're on your own. Your government is more in line with those illegal immigrants who aren't supposed to be here, some of which are doing awful things than they are with you. And that's a hard pill to swallow. But it's one you got to swallow, and then you've got to respond and think and act in accordance with what's going on. So I hope people will be careful. We'll continue to watch this, but it is, it is very, it's very concerning. And these things obviously can spiral out of control so, so fast. So, so fast. New York City neighbors are also complaining about fights at hotel turned shelter, nightly and aggressive security, egging it on 100%. This is going to happen more until someone comes in and says no more. At which point it still will happen. But until someone takes that first step of saying no more, what are our ways that we can functionally and very, very purposely shut this down to the extent that we can? It's going to just get worse. So, so step one is getting someone in who actually cares and is willing to take necessary steps, try things that might kind of shut it down, even though you're not going to shut it all down. But you can't just be like, well, lost this one. Hopefully the wildfire doesn't spread across the entire state. That's not a good plan. It's not a good plan. Good to skip the question of the day today. We, you know, we wouldn't have Tom's answer anyways. We wouldn't have Disco Dave's answer. We wouldn't have Olaf stuff. And I want to get to a couple more things before we get out of here. But I do want to give some good love to our good friends and partners at Sweden means. Guys, we all have aches and pains. I didn't really do anything other than travel and watch football game this weekend. I feel sore. I don't even know what the heck I did. But we all have aches and pains and we all have chronic inflammation, which is typically the culprit of these aches and pains. But I'm proud and excited to introduce you to Sweden mean the natural way to fight inflammation, it's packed with amino acid glycine, which is the same nutrient found in bone broth that helps regulate inflammation. Many of the diseases that we face today are rooted in glycine deficiency, but just one daily serving of sweet amine provides eight grams of glycine, which is more than enough to stop excess inflammation right where it starts. Most people feel pain reduction after just a few days. Perfect for post workout recoveries. It's all natural. It contains no sugar, no carbs, only 24 calories per packet. It's ideal for diabetics as well. You can use it like sugar in your favorite drinks, smoothies. You can sprinkle it on cereal. Whatever you want to do with it, it's very, very versatile. And the good news is you can try it for just 12 days. It's 12 day challenge trial pack that starts at 1995. If you use promo code Drew, you'll get $5 off. So you will get it for $14.95. So by now, we all know the tragic news from overseas. Six hostages, six more hostages, we should say. We're found dead when the Israeli Defense Force were clearing tunnels over there. Among them, among the dead, was Israeli-American Hirsch Goldberg-Polin. And again, sadness over all of this because so much of this was preventable. And then in the aftermath, even when it did happen, the response has just been so tragic. By our side, by so many people. Well, Tim Walls is at this event. And Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walls, current Minnesota Governor Tim Walls, that is just so we're clear about which Tim Walls we're talking about. But he was asked about his thoughts on the matter. Here was his response. Thanks, everybody. So nothing. Literally, this is such a politician move, right? Come up smiling. Oh, you want to ask me a question to make me look good? And then he finds out, no, it's not something that's going to make me look good. And I don't have a response on this. So he runs away. He runs away as fast as he did when he got his deployment orders. This guy is a mess, pretends like all politicians do to be one of the people. And they're so lazy with the two. If I just smile and eat ice cream and wear a t-shirt, they're going to think I'm one of them. No, some people are that dumb and they will. But no, he's just a communist, you guys. Pretending to be a good old neighborly Midwestern guy, which I love. I love. I loved being back up in the Midwest this week. I love my folks from Minnesota where I grow up and just the people there and people in Iowa and people in the back. They're just the best. The Dakotas love it. And on the surface sometimes, you can see how he comes off that way to certain people. If they're not willing to do a little bit of digging, but that's just not who he is. He's not that guy. Honestly, at this point, if you believe any politician, not just what they say, but what they are presenting, who they are pretending to be, because that's what they are. They're just a bunch of Harper's man at the end of the day. Out role playing, pretending to be this, pretending to be that if you believe any of them, and I always tell you, I know some good ones. I don't know many, but I know some good ones and I know them personally. But even those ones, you've got to, you've got your guilty until proven innocent in the world of politics. That's how we got to play this game now. That's not how the judicial system should work. That's not how law is supposed to work, even though that's how that works now too. But when it comes to politicians, we would make so much more progress in terms of just general awareness and understanding about where we are as a country and where we are as a government. If people just made that simple assessment in their brain, I don't like you and I don't trust you until you prove me otherwise. 90, 95, 98 percent, whatever number we want to put, a high number. Don't have your best interests at heart. They're not good people and that's rough for the ones who actually are and are trying to do something A, because the others make it almost impossible for them to do something and B, they get lumped in with them. So that's a whole other conversation about how you fix that. But man, if people would just understand, these folks are not what they pretend to be. I mean, you had an event this weekend, two events, Camp Cam is speaking in Pennsylvania in one, and I think it was Detroit and the other, speaking to union workers in two different ones, hours apart. She literally spoke in a different voice at each one. I mean, they're all so fake, so fake. And then some of them actually have some, albeit nefarious and deceitful talents, where they can manipulate their way through things and make things work for them, never for you, but for them. But then there's some like her who just has no talents. Panders in the worst way, the most obvious way. And again, I'll just say none of them are what they, what they say they are, who they say they are. And we got to show this because I thought this was interesting. You probably saw as part of the title today, but Biden is, is walking up to the White House in during the evening and has an exchange with the reporters, which he hasn't done a lot of lately. He's been on vacation, like the worst case of senioritis ever, but he has a conversation with reporters and he said this. President, I would just be back on the campaign throughout the day. It was good. How do you feel about that today? After I'm not able to go out to crowd with the floor. I don't think the term is unlearning. No, why not? I don't think the term is too dangerous. No one gets to go out. Really not? No, I'm serious. How do you feel about Pennsylvania right now? I feel really good about Pennsylvania. How do you feel about Pennsylvania right now? I feel really good about Pennsylvania. How do you feel about Pennsylvania right now? I feel really good about Pennsylvania. I think there's a little bit of Pennsylvania. I think there's a little bit of Pennsylvania. It's a little bit of Pennsylvania. All right, I mean, honestly, I just get a massive kick out of that. I get a massive kick out of what he said there, and particularly, in particular, one part. It's Pennsylvania. He feels good about it. I hope that's not true because we desperately need Pennsylvania. Both sides need Pennsylvania. It is a key state. No two ways about it. But let's talk about what he said just for a second here. He says the Secret Service doesn't let me out anymore. Why is that? It's too dangerous. Then he says no one goes out anymore. He makes this emphatic dogmatic statement like, yeah, I've been told no one gets to go outside anymore, which is obviously not true. It's just the rules for him, but I got, I got such a kick out of it. I thought it was both scary, sad, hilarious, all of those things as you have the sitting president who has mailed it in so much. By the way, you've got six hostages killed, discovered, discovered dead. Biden has the nerve to say over the weekend, I've been working tirelessly on this as he's been at the beach for the last two weeks, and he's been at the beach for 40% probably more now of his collective presidency presidency, of course, also in fingerprints. They don't care. They don't care. So we've got a national crisis. I got you. I'm tracking. And I'm going to need another Pina Colada and a towel because this is sweating and I need to make sure that I wipe that off and then can you bring my book on my bedside table? This is how they feel. I'm going to go sit with Jill at the beach. Someone will figure it out. It's mad, maddening. Then finally, last thing, then we're going to get out of here for today since I'm all by myself. I did that song today, although it's been kind of fun. It's been kind of fun to just be with you guys. I'm not saying I don't miss the guys. I do. I definitely do. But Trump is, he's said this before, but allegedly, well, and it's not allegedly. He's verbally said it. Trump is considering involving Elon Musk in his administration, particularly with regards to a plan to involve prominent business executives, Elon included, of course, to audit federal agencies and identify programs to cut. And I would think, so here's the deal. I would think if I'm Elon Musk and this maybe sounds shallow or selfish or whatever, that's not my intent, but just being real, human to human. If I'm Elon Musk, I'm the wealthiest person on the planet. I've got private this, private that I've got private doctors, I've got chefs, I've got private transportation, I've got bunkers, I've got lawyers, I've got all the stuff that this world tells you you need, most of which you don't. But I've got all that stuff and I've got so much money that I could never spend it. I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that job. I wouldn't take it and say, yeah, you know what? Look, the system is so broken, which it is. It's almost impossible to fix. I'm good here on the sidelines, but Elon Musk, to his credit, to his credit is saying that he's very interested in being a part of that process, taking on that role. And imagine, just imagine people, if we had, and we would sit around talking about this at the fire pit after a day of work and operations overseas, and yes, there was usually alcohol and cigars involved, but we'd sit around and talk about, man, this is the most inefficient disaster of a machine ever, that is the US government. If it would just be run like a business, it would stand a chance. It would still have its issues. People are broken. People are black-hearted sinners. There's a lot that we're going up against. But you'd have so much more of a chance if it was run like a business, but it's not. And the organizational and the economic decisions that are made prove that time and time again. We look at our government. Our government just prints more money than we have. Do we have enough for that? No. Just print more. Problem solved. I mean, we're idiots. Our government is so bad. But imagine if we had good business-minded people in there. People who understood basic economics, people who understood physical responsibility, people who understood efficiency. And imagine if those people help streamline and fix the government, even if just a little bit. It would be amazing. Our debt would go down. You'd have the ability for elected officials were they to be smart enough to do it and care enough to do it, to change how we do taxes and change how we do so many other things. It would be amazing. Well, I don't think it's going to really happen. I'm not saying that efforts won't be made, but meaningful change. I don't think meaningful change will happen. It would be so good. And I'm so encouraged that people like Elon are willing to throw their hat in the ring and say, "Yeah, you know what? I don't need this. Don't need to do this whatsoever. But I'll do it because I'm sick of seeing what I see, experiencing what I experience, and having our country be taken over hostily, and/or in certain cases, just straight up mismanaged, usually both." So again, I don't think it's going to happen, at least not at scale, at least not to the point where there's meaningful change brought on. But this is one of those things that's so obvious that has to be done and should be done. And if we can get any sort of start on it, you can't achieve anything if you don't start. So a start is where we need to go, a program where we do say, "Hey, because I can tell you, I've worked at a couple different agencies up there, right? Several." And then I've done a lot of stuff with Mill. The amount of bloat, the amount of reckless spending, the amount of the complete and total lack of accountability, it's just insane. And those aren't my, those aren't my like gifts, by the way, either. Efficiency and some of those things, yes. I'm not saying I'd be the guy to run all of that, and nor would you be. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist or an economic expert to look at some of these things and just be like, "Well, that doesn't seem right." For example, you know, all of the, not just the staffing stuff, but the user to lose the type stuff. I've told you the story before, Drew, it's dinner time in Afghanistan. You've gotten till midnight, local, do you think you can spend a million dollars? Do we need to? Yeah, or we lose that part of our budget for next year. So go get some grub, eat some food, and then go spend some money. That's not smart. We had a base that we were abandoning, which was stupid because it was a key base along the, the pack, pack border. And we've been doing renovations, planning to do millions and millions of dollars for renovations, to increase the base because of how strategically important it was. Hey, you know what, orders from on high came in from DC. We don't care about the war anymore or our efforts. The Afghan government, others are pressuring us to, to do less. We're going to abandon that base. What about the construction that we're doing there and all the plans that we have for there? We're going to finish it because we got to use that money up and then we're going to blow it up. Wait, what? Yes. We're not just going to abandon it, leave it where it is and save that money for other projects. We're going to finish it and then we're going to destroy it. That is a perfect picture of the U.S. government and how things operate. So I hope, man, I hope I am all for people coming in and trying to fix it. I hope Trump tries to fix it. I hope he brings in good people like Elon to try and fix it. I hope that all of these things happen and at least when I say happen, just get started. You just got to get that initial push off, right? And let's see how far down the hill the ball rolls. Let's just see what happens and go from there. We got a lot of work to do. But again, as much as I tell you and I still believe it that I don't think all of it's going to change, at least not in the near term, I also will be the first to tell you you have to try. And not trying and hoping is not a plan. So I hope that someone initiates a plan and pushes forward something so we can see some sort of change. And then someone can pick up the ball, pick up the torch, carry it on whatever analogy you want to use and keep going in a direction that benefits us. We the people. Because again, this country was always supposed to be about we the people. And somehow that super important fact has gotten lost. And now we are the laughing stock and we are shunned and not cared about by our own country. And that just can't stand. All right, folks, hit that like button.
