Why do you do what you do? Is your work a ministry? A ministry doesn’t even have to mention God. Believe in what you’re doing. Share a message that people need. Share a message that makes the world a better, happier place. Why settle for an okay job? Follow your calling.

I have published a new book. It's called "The View from the Deck Thoughts on Values, Vision, and Gratitude." If you like morning motivation, you're going to love this book. You can find it on Kindle and in paperback form on Amazon, and the audiobook is coming soon. So check out "The View from the Deck Thoughts on Values, Vision, and Gratitude" on Amazon now. Why do you do what you do? What is the purpose of it? Is it simply to pay the bills because you've got to do it? Or is it something you're meant to do? Is it a calling? Or is it even a step higher than that? A ministry. A ministry is simply the way that you express God's will, God's love to the world through your work. And ministry is not simply preaching the word of God. Ministry is preaching the love of God. Ministry is preaching what God wants people to know, and you don't even have to mention God to do it. Some people, there are atheist ministers out there. There are atheists who are preaching the things that people need to know, the spiritual lessons, the guidance that people need. They don't believe in God or higher power or anything, but they believe in what it means. And that is ministry. So is what you do simply work, simply what you do from day to day? Or is it a ministry? Or is it a calling? Are you sharing a message that people need, a message that makes the world a better place, a message that brings the greatness of everyone out from them, makes life better for everyone who hears it, and everyone around them. And if not, why not? Why would you settle for simply working? Why would you just do an okay job day after day hour after hour? Because that's how you pay the bills when you could instead follow your calling, minister to the world, take your gifts, take your greatness that have been given to you by whatever gives out the gifts. Take that, share it with everyone, make the world better, make people happier and healthier and wiser, and be a true light and blessing to the world. I have published a new book called The View from the Deck, Thoughts on Values, Vision, Gratitude. If you like morning motivation, you're going to love this book. A lot of the same concepts. The basic principle of the book is that I was coaching clients and they were telling me about their dream life and I was recognizing elements of their dream life in my everyday life. And it made me realize there's things in my life that people are dreaming of. And there's things in my life that the me of a few years ago would absolutely have given his right arm for and chances are you've got the same. So I took these concepts about values and what makes us do what we do. Vision where we want to be in gratitude, appreciating the awesome things we have and put them together into one awesome book called The View for the Deck, Values, Vision, and Gratitude. You can find it on amazon.com. Just search for Michael Whitehouse, The View from the Deck, and get your copy today!
