Believe it or not, this is our final episode in this series on Transmuting Your Body into a Powerhouse. It’s been a long journey. Hopefully it’s been as valuable for you as it has for us reviewing these principles...

(upbeat music) - Welcome back to another episode of transmuting your body into a powerhouse. - Now, but, bear's about. This is our final episode, bear's about. - It is, James. How exciting is that? - Are you excited or are you a little sad? It's been a long journey. - I'm ready to move on. - You're ready to move on, okay. Well, let's bring this in for a solid landing. What we wanna talk about today is apart from the body, which we've addressed numerous times, but it certainly affects the body, we're going to encourage you to study timeless truth and apply that truth into your daily life. Now, truth is not relative. - Well, what is truth? - My truth is not your truth. - Yeah, yeah. - We live in the world. That's not my reality. I'm pretty sure that's reality for everyone. - We live in a reality where some people say truth is relative. Is it relative? - No. - No, it's absolute. It's not beholden to any man or woman. It's timeless. It's universal. Truth actually transcends man and it can be learned and embraced. Now here's the thing, sometimes you won't like truth. Does that make it not true? - Yeah, just 'cause you don't like it, doesn't make it false. - No, I mean, most often it's uncomfortable and yet it will absolutely set you free. So, believe it or not, this is our final episode in transmitting your body into a powerhouse. It's been a long journey and hopefully it's been valuable for you and you've been following along with us as it, and it's been valuable for us in reviewing these principles and reminding ourselves about several things that are easy to forget. - Sure. - So, we're gonna wrap up this series with a discussion about, again, studying timeless truths and more importantly, applying them. - In your daily life. - In your daily life. Now, being exposed to truth, particularly in today's world is an ominous task. And so, if we're going to start somewhere, bare so bow, where would you suggest we start for timeless truth? - I would say start with, in the beginning, was the word. - That's the book of John in the New Testament. - Oh, my bad. - So, probably in the beginning, all was dark and void, would be the beginning of Genesis. - Okay, well, start with the Bible. - Obviously, we're talking about the Bible. And you know why you maybe know this, but the Bible's the number one best-selling book of all time. - It is? - Well, yeah, I did not know that, but that's good to know. - Well, there's got to be a reason for that. Now, bare so bow and I both are currently reading it from cover to cover, and- - And that is a task. - It's a task. You know, I'm in Leviticus right now, and Leviticus is kind of laborious, but I'm sticking with it, and I'm diving deep. Now, bare so bow, why, a lot of people just started a New Testament. - Yes, I did not know that either, okay. - You didn't? - Excuse me. - Both of us at the same time. - Look at that, we must be married. - Most, it choked us up that most people only stayed at the New Testament. Do you think it's important to stay at the Old Testament? - Yes, how can you not, this has the beginning? - Of course. - That's right. The New Testament- - That's where it all started. - That's the fundamental laws. It's a framework, it's a foundation to operate from. And the New Testament moves beyond the fundamental laws and teaches virtuous principles for living those laws. You know, that's why Christ said, I came not to destroy the laws. I came to fulfill them. - Fulfill them. - Like, you know, or the prophets. I came not to destroy the law or the prophets. I'm here to fulfill them. That's Matthew 5, 17, by the way, if you wanna check it out. - This is, I am the law. - No, he didn't say this. - Well, kind of. - You see modern times. - Regardless of what you've been told or taught, the teachings of Christ are not about repentance and faith. Now, stick with us, those are important. You've got to take absolute responsibility and you've got to figure that you've done some things that are less than virtuous. Those things are important. And yet, repentance really is about taking absolute responsibility for your past behaviors and sins. And absolute responsibility is the only way, please, hear us because you may be aware I have a book called "The Business of Redemption" and personal absolute responsibility is the only way to find redemption. It really is. - True. - What's faith really about? Because so many people talk about faith as blind faith. - Oh, I just have faith, you know, based on what? - Well, as we define it from what I've learned from the sacred text is that faith is what I just lost it. - I have faith in you. It's coming back. - Oh, I did, I totally lost it. - Let me give you a clue. Faith is about having confidence that there's a power you can access that will allow you to transform yourself moving forward. And it's also grounded in experience. - Yeah, experience, faith, meaning. - That's what you were certain. - Yeah, the reference to the experiences that you've had in times of need that something other than yourself, greater, pulled you through or was with you. So it's, yeah, what was the term for it? Is that, I'm not remembering the exact, how, what it was called. - I think you said it really well, you know, here's the question we would ask you, are you, have you ever had challenges in your life? - Yeah. - Of course you have and we have two. And obviously you made it through them because you're watching this podcast. So if you made them through, made it through, what you did, ask yourself, am I more awake? Am I better? Am I stronger, more experienced? Then I was, let's say 10 years ago. If the answer's yes, then why would it be any different today? So faith is looking at those previous experiences and saying, well, you know, there was a time when I was hanging on by my fingernails. And I didn't know how I was gonna get through, but I did. And so why would it be any different today if you're a better human being and you were then? Now, if you're not a better human being, then that's a difference. - Well, but now will be the time to start coming in. - It will now be a time to become a better human being. But it will allow you to transform and move forward. If you really, really study the Christ teachings and you dive deep beyond what you're told and taught, they're about sanctifying your works, your habits and behaviors and results. Now, what does that mean? There's about a sanctify your work habits, behavior and results. - Well, I'm not sure what the word sanctify means. So you'll have to define that for me. - It's to make it holy. - Oh, I got it. - It's to make it holy. Oh, your works, behaviors. - Habits and results. - So it means in everything that you do in your life, to make it as special, you have to be 100% in what you'd be committed to what you're doing. - And you have to do it as a gift to God. You know, we had a conversation today with a really good friend of ours named Andre. And he's building a new business and he said, straight up, he said, you know, I felt like God told me, called me to do this. And it's not about the money, although the money will come. It's about doing this because it's what I've been called to do as a gift back to God. Is what you're doing in your works. Wow, this is choking me up today. Your works, your habits and your behaviors, hang on. Let him take a drink. - Water. - Okay, well, yeah, okay. - Is what you're doing. - Okay, go ahead. - Is what you're doing in your works, your habits and behaviors aligning with God's plan. Is it contributing to the betterment of mankind? What were you gonna say? - Yeah, well, I was gonna say, well, a lot of people are gonna, not a lot of people. Some people, most people might say, well, I'm just a personal assistant or something, or I do janitorial work, or I do something where they don't give it much value to the work that they do. And it's not about what you're doing, it's about how you're doing it. Are you 100% there and giving it all you got? Because you can make something that you think that is not of high value or you're providing value for people, and yet how you show up and do that makes a world of a difference. - Very, very true. And I would submit to you that it is of high value. Because if you're, what was the analogy you used a personal assistant or what did you do? - It's janitorial work. - Janitorial work, I mean, all of those are noble. They're all noble. And if you don't, let's say that you're a janitor cleaning offices and bathrooms, well, you may not think that's highly valuable, but if you don't do your job well, what's the effect? - Well, everybody else suffers for it. - Everyone else suffers, and if people go into a dirty environment, how do they feel and what are their actions going forward? And hopefully you follow that analogy. So when you really, really study Christ's teachings, which we encourage you to do, you sanctify your works, your habits, your behaviors and your results, not just ask for forgiveness. - No. - Now we've heard a lot of people, even, even preachers, prosperity preachers in today's world say, oh, just say, Jesus, please be my savior and you're saved. That's not what he said. You don't just ask for forgiveness. You have to sanctify your works. You have to do something differently. And I can back this up with his own teachings. From Matthew 7, 18, 19, he stated Christ, "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit." If you're a good tree, if you're bringing forth the evil fruit, you're not a good tree. Neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. - Sure. Every tree that bringeth not, and I'm quoting directly, fourth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. That's Matthew 7, 18, 19. So where do we get this idea? And we just say, please forgive me and I'm eternally saved and I don't have to do anything. Yes, you do have to do something. It's a lot more than just saying, I messed up, please forgive me and save me. Because unless you change nothing, unless you change rather, nothing changes. Nothing changes. So obviously the Bible in our experience, and you weren't raised on the Bible. - Wow. - What pulled you? - Quite the opposite. - What pulled you to the Bible? - What pulled me to the Bible? What pulled me to the Bible is, well, I've heard a lot of quotes from you. - Yeah, but I believe it was long before me. - Right, sure. So, okay, I grew up in the Baha'i faith, and when you read the teachings of the Baha'i faith, their main thing, I'll quote one of my favorite quotes from them is that the earth is but one country and mankind, it's citizens. So that should give you kind of an overall perspective of their beliefs and views, and they believe that all religions came from the same place, and there's only one God and so forth. So when I was reading the writings, they would reference the Quran quite a bit in there. - The Quran? - Yes, so I thought, well, if it's referencing it so much here, I'm gonna go read the Quran. - And you did, didn't you? - And I did, so then, in mind you, in there it also reference Christ's teachings and the Bible, the Old Testament and New Testament, but it was more so with the Quran. So when I was reading the Quran, he was referencing, Muhammad was referencing Jesus quite a bit. So then I thought, okay, well, I'm gonna go to the source. So then that's how I ended up reading the Bible. - If all these teachings are referencing Jesus and the Bible, then brilliant distinction, why not go to the source? - You know, in our experience, the Bible is the best foundation of timeless truth. - That is true. - And that's what we're talking about here today. Study timeless truths and put them into action in your life. But you can't just study it. You know, I've known a lot of people who read the Bible every single day, and first of all, they don't really comprehend it because they don't dive deep into it, and they kind of gloss over things, but they don't apply them every single day in their life. And that's true of almost any religion. From my experience, from there, once you apply them daily, from there, if you choose to do a study of comparative religious texts, which I've done, it's a powerful experience as well, because what you'll find is that from that foundation of the Bible, these timeless truths are referenced in different ways, from different teachers time and time again, and as Adversable pointed out, a lot of them reference back directly to the Christ. So our suggestion would be to start in the beginning, in the beginning. - What's the word? - What's the word? It says in John, in the beginning, all was dark and void, it says in Genesis. And so, you know, if you consider yourself kind of dark and void with regard to timeless truths, maybe you need a Genesis, which means to begin. Anyway, from there, if you're really serious, you can become a person of the Renaissance. After studying comparative religions, you can become a Renaissance individual. You can study biology, you can study physiology, psychology, astronomy, quantum physics, philosophy, big emphasis on philosophy. And finally, ancient sacred teachings. For me, and I think you would say for you as well, all studies of these disciplines has been incredibly empowering. - Inpowering, sure. - All of them have been great, and maybe the most powerful one, for me, apart from the Bible in itself, have been philosophy and comparative religions, quantum physics, and the ancient sacred teachings. What's been most empowering for you to study, Bursba? - Well, I started with the sacred teachings first. - You kind of did. - Yes, I'll do. - How did that happen? - I don't know. - Yes, you do. (laughs) - Yeah, I think it was you. (laughs) - Yeah, it was through you. And then from there, because even reading the thing in the fantasy fascinating part was reading the sacred teachings, from studying the sacred teachings, is what also kept pointing towards the Bible. So I thought, okay. - I imagine that. - There we go. - So start with what resonates with you the most. You know what our encouragement is, and make sure you apply what you learn. And you will turn your body and your life and your relationships and your business and everything you do into a gift for God and into a powerhouse. Please remember, in closing, knowledge without application is dead knowledge. Knowledge without application is dead knowledge. Hopefully this has been valuable for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to join us. And we'll begin a new topic and a new series next week. God bless you. - Thank you very much. - Bye-bye. - Bye.
