I'm your pocket fillers. The party killer. The north side for the start the broadcast subscribe with smash. The gorilla sports podcast. Hey guys, welcome into the gorilla sports podcast. It is Sunday, September the 8th. I am pumped up. It's opening weekend for Sunday football. Can't wait. All right. Let's recap from yesterday. We actually lost a couple of units yesterday. We had five batter parlays going. We only came home with one winner. Our losers. We took Gunnar Henderson and Bobby Whit. Bobby Whit hit one for us. Gunnar Henderson did not. Then we took Francisco Lindor and Jose Altuve. Altuve right away got his Lindor did not. Our winner we had Vlady Guerrero and Mookie Betz. That came through for us. And then Butler, Lauren Sputler of the Oakland A's just keeps coming through for us. So that that was a winner. And then we paired that with Salvador Perez. And he did not come through for us. And then we also had Marcel Ozuna and Luis Garcia. And Ozuna did not get a hit. And even Luis Garcia. I hate these double headers. It seems like I always pick the wrong day that that player will go get a hit and he had a better better history against Keller, but he did not get a hit against Keller. So we ended up losing a couple of units back yesterday. It's time to get into some football guys on pumped up. All right. Our first play today is we're going to go to Cooper Cup of the LA Rams. Now, he's finally healthy. He's a couple of years removed from being like the triple crown guy. And for the last couple of years, all of like his lines on his receiving yards have always been set in the 90s. Now it said it's 66 and a half. Now there's a massive total in this game. One of the highest on the week at 52 and a half. They're playing the Detroit Lions. Detroit has been a past funnel team in years past. They're very good at the run, but can't, but can't usually stop the past. And when this sort of high scoring game in the Rams having, you know, a terrible defense, they've lost their one of their superstar defensive coordinators. And then they also lost one of the best defensive players in all of football and Aaron Dottle. So this defense is going to be a mess. We know Detroit can score points. So they should be chasing points this whole game. We know Pooka Nakuza has been a little bit beaten up as well. So I like 66 and a half receiving yards for Cooper Cup. And I don't mind taking a look at some of the latter plays on that. I know I saw like over 86 and a half at plus 200. I don't mind a look at that for a smaller bet. Our next play is we're going to take Dalton King Cade over 49 and a half receiving yards. Now Arizona has typically over the last three years been one of the worst defensive teams in general, but also one of the worst defensive teams against the tight end. Now Dalton King Cade was becoming a very big part of the offense coming down the last half of the stretch when kind of digs was declining. Dalton King Cade and Josh Allen started getting a really good connection together. So they started really rocketed rolling. His last two regular season games he put up 84 and 87. So he was really a big part of this offense. And there's been over 200 targets vacated with Stefan Diggs and Gabe Davis. So like half of their offensive team is gone. They have no one really else to throw to. I mean, he is essentially their number one option. And if this offense is supposed to be as good as it is, it's got to go to Dalton King Cade. So I like him over his 49 and a half receiving yard total. That's a nice one. Our next place, we're going to take Tony Pollard and we're going to go over 10 and a half receiving yards. So that's the running back for the Tennessee Titans. Now the Bears defense last year was dead last against running back receiving yards and dead last by a mile. So they gave up 59 receiving yards per game to the running back position. Second last was the Chargers at 44. So a 15 point difference between first and second, like it's here. And then everyone else is way down there. They give up so many passing yards, excuse me, so many receiving yards to the running back position. Now Tony Pollard and the coaches have basically said that him and Tajé Spears are both going to kind of run 50 50 out of the backfield. That's totally fine. This was Pollard specialty when it was him and Zeke Elliott together. Zeke would be the running downs back and he would be the passing downs back. Perfect. So a couple of screen passes from a pass heavy now a pass heavy offense in Tennessee. It looks like they're going to try and run the ball less and pass more. They've got Will Levitts who's got a cannon of an arm. They actually have a decent receiving core in Calvin Ridley and obviously DeAndre Hopkins who looks like he's going to play, which would be nice to have a decoy to get some guys away from the line of scrimmage. So all we got to do is just dump it off to Tony Pollard. So I do like that play as well. Our next play is I'm looking at Rico Doutle of the Dallas Cowboys. Now Rico Doutle. I mean the coach as McCarthy has essentially said that this is our number one back. So he's pulled him off of all of the special teams, the opposite of like Kieran Williams in the Rams. I don't know how much of that actually is going to matter, but it does matter when the coach says, yeah, he's not going to be on special teams because it's going to be a workload management. We don't he's a three down complete back. He's like his past protection now is some of the best I've seen that's like one of his best assets, which every coach wants to hear that that their quarterback's not going to get killed by their young running back. And I mean that was kind of Ezekiel Elliott's, you know, go to was that he could pass protect for a big guy and him and Dacker obviously buddies. But so I've been attacking a bunch on him. So if he if the coach speak is actually what it says it is over six and a half rushing attempts seems to be a lock. I like this total a lot. I think I think he's going to get a lot of work. They may start giving it to Zeke in the red zone and closer to the goal line, but I don't know. I don't know if they will. I mean he was kind of getting stuffed at the line over and over again in New England. So I like his over six and a half rushing attempts. I also like him over 31 and a half rushing yards. Now granted this is versus a Cleveland defense that's absolutely really good. However, the offensive line for Dallas should still be totally serviceable. It's a top 10 offensive line. Now I was also looking at this anytime touchdown prop. Now it's set at plus four 10, which is a massive number. And then granted this is more of a lottery. But to take a look at his two touchdowns as well at plus five thousand is historically high. I'm really not sure why it's gone so high. Like any other split back fields, if you look at say Tony Pollard and Taji Spears, Pollard is is you know, if to get too touched down, Pollard's plus 1000. And then Spears, who's less of a role at that is a plus 1800. That kind of makes sense. Alright. Or if you look at Seattle, their number one running back is is Kenneth Walker, who's at a plus 600. But their number two is Zach Sharba day behind him. And he's at a plus 20 plus 2000. So to get a plus 5000 when the coach has already kind of said this is our starting running back, that just seems like massive value. Same thing with Zach Moss and Chase Brown, Zach Moss is plus 1000 to get two touchdowns. Chase Brown, probably the lesser role, plus 2000. So I mean, I don't really see that Zeke is the starter anyway. And we're getting essentially the starter if not a 50 50 split at a plus 5000. So I know Dax, like they had a top five offense last year. So I do like that. So I messed around with Rico down a little bit there. And then in that same game, I also like Jake Ferguson, the tight end over 40 and a half receiving yards. Now he covered this in five out of his last six games. Now Dax, Dax clear number two receiving targets. Last year he had 102 targets. He had 71 receptions. He had 761 receiving yards as a tight end, which was monstrous. And a lot of this came in the second half of the year when he became the full time tight end. No, Gallup retired cooks aging. We're going versus a good Cleveland defense, but they were actually middle of the pack versus the tight end last year. So I do like Jake Ferguson over 40 and a half receiving yards. Our next play is we're going to go to Ladma Conkey of the LA Chargers. Now I like him over 37 and a half receiving yards. Now they have a like a shallow receiving room. Their entire skill position left. So there's no more Keenan Allen. There's no more Mike Williams. There's no more Gerald Everett and Austin Echler. That's like 500 targets gone. They've Joshua Palmer is their number one. I think Ladma Conkey is going to take over this number one spot in no time. He's kind of like Cooper cup light. Like he's he's got an excellent receiver tree. He is like crisp routes. And he's got really good hands as well, which is kind of what what Herbert's going to need. He's going to be like taken over his new Keenan Allen role in college. He had like the 98th percentile and receiving grade. He had a 91 percentile and separation percentage. So these are all terrific numbers. Now he's going to be going against Nate Hobbs in the slot and Hobbs gave up a 76.8% catch rate. And QB's had a 103.1 pass already against him. So one of the worst cover slot receiver, assuming cover slot receivers in the defense in the NFL on the other side of that. And I actually, I don't mind his over three and a half catches as well. I think he's going to have a really low ADOT similar to Keenan Allen role. But I do like him over three and a half catches and I love him over 37 and a half receiving yards. Let's see. I got one more play I got going. And then again, guys, use your boosts. Use all of your same game parlays. Use what I've said. Now if any of these say a same game parlay or a same game plus, essentially, all you need to do is add two legs to any like same game parlay. And then you could add other pieces to it from other games and they'll still call it the same game plus. So you could take Rico Dattle and you can take Jake Ferguson, both from the Dallas Cowboys. And if that's on a ticket and then you can add other pieces, you could probably put all of these together on a same game parlay and make that for one of your free ones. Our last play is going to go to Devontay Adams of the Oakland, excuse me, of the Las Vegas Raiders. Now he's had four games versus the Chargers while being a Las Vegas Raider with not much quarterback play to come from. And he's averaging 123 receiving yards. He absolutely scorches these Chargers. And I don't know what it was, but there's something on social media where there some Chargers were chirping Adams and he was just like, Oh yeah, why don't you just look at the box score whenever we play you guys. I absolutely own you. So we'll see on the field. So essentially he's calling out all the defense. So I mean, I almost wish he didn't, but it just means he's gonna have a big chip on his shoulder. So I like Devontay Adams over 68 and a half receiving yards. All right, guys, those are our plays today that I'm going to give out. I mean, my book is massive today. I like week one. Similarly, or dissimilarly to the NBA, where I like to things to kind of start heating up before I can start getting deep into it. But I find with player props in the NFL, I don't think the books are adjusted yet. They have to kind of put an average number around. They don't know what to do with Labah Conkey. They haven't seen him in, in, in NFL non preseason games yet. So it's easier to speculate. And especially when somebody has a connection with say the quarterback or they were, you know, terrific in college, they can't put them with those elite numbers quite yet. It takes a while for them to adjust. So as the year goes on, this, the line start getting sharper. You'll probably see less bets going forward. But yeah, these first couple of weeks, it's like it's easier for the better to speculate on what's going to happen than have, you know, the correct odds. So I think we're taking advantage of a couple of good spots here. All right, guys, we got a ton of NFL going today. I'm pumped for opening day. And if you're rocking with me, let's roll. [BLANK_AUDIO]
