[MUSIC] Hey guys, welcome in to the Gorilla Sports Podcast. I'm your host, Alex Bloopen, and it is Wednesday, August the 28th. All right, we're recapping from yesterday with three battle parlays going with six batters. We had four batters correct, but we only had one winner. We went one in three yesterday. Let's get into the plays. We had Vlattie and Ryan McMahon together, that came through. And then we had Judge and Cody Bellinger. Judge got a hit for us. Cody Bellinger did not. And then we also took global Torres of the New York Yankees, and we paired him with Connor Joe and Connor Joe. O for five, three strikeouts and two walks, yuck. So we only ended up, we lost one unit back yesterday, but we got four plays going today. Let's get into them. Our first play is we're going back to Vlattie Guerrero. Surprise, surprise. He absolutely crushes at Boston and crushes versus Brian Bello. I'm actually gonna probably figure out a way to get some more money down on Vlattie. Whether it's over his hits runs in RBIs, over his two bases, something like that. I'm gonna put a couple other bets on Vlattie. So he's eight for nine with two home runs and three doubles versus Brian Bello. That is monstrous. And we're gonna pair with Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros. Now he's gonna hit in 13 of his last 16 games and he's gold versus Taiwan Walker, who's just been absolutely terrible lately for the Philadelphia Phillies. So I like those two guys together. That's our juiciest play. It's at minus 130, but I do like this one today. Our next play is we're gonna go right back to Aaron judge. He's absolutely on a tear right now. And he's going versus Mackenzie Gore of the Washington Nationals, who's been absolutely getting crushed lately over his last five starts. He's been up seven or more hits in four out of five of them. So there's a good shot that we're gonna get Aaron judge to get a hit. And he's actually two for three with two homers versus Mackenzie Gore. Love that. They're on the road as well. So they might get that ninth batting, batting appearance as well. And we're gonna pair him with the Yoshida of the Boston Red Sox. Love this look as well. Now he's been four for 13, batting 308 versus Chris Bassett in Toronto. He's gonna hit in 12 of his last 14 games and he's three for six versus Bassett this year in 2024. So I like that judge together with Yoshida gets us a minus one 16. So I like that look. Now unfortunately it looks like Devers has a shoulder injury because he crushes versus Bassett. So that's one that you should watch out for when they actually drop the lineups later on today because he's six for 11 with two home runs and two doubles and he's four for six with a homer excuse me and a double this year versus Bassett. So if he's playing I'll be putting money on Devers as well. Our next place we're gonna go to one so to get one hit again Mackenzie Gore left handed pitcher. He crushes left handed pitching. He's two for six versus Gore. So I like that look excuse me I won so to the New York Yankees and we're gonna pair with Corbin Carroll who's just on an absolute tear now. He's on a six game hitting streak. He's got hits in 17 of his last 20 games and he's two for three versus seven redone. He's pitching and then he's going versus today. So I like that look as well and the two of those guys together you get a minus 109. So that's a good look and our last play. This one is our least juiciest play of the day. We're gonna go with Brett Rooker of the Oakland A's. Now they're playing in Cincinnati today and it's a great hitting conditions in CNC. We got a wind blowing out. It's 99 degree weather at first pitch. So it's nice and hot and humid and Rooker's one for one with a homer versus his since he pitcher today although since he looks like they're gonna have a bullpen game today. So I like his chances of getting hit and we're gonna pair it with Jose Ramirez at the Cleveland Guardians. I like that look he's going versus Michael Walker in KC today with a giant outfield gives up a lot of singles and he's three for six versus Waka and he's two for three versus Waka this year.
