Funeral Services for Richard Delma Stump are today at 2 at Eden Church of God of Prophecy, where he was a longtime member, burial at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens, with the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard performing. Dorothy Augusta Barnette Barrier, 99 of Eden, died August 27th. Graveside Services are tomorrow at 11 at Lawson Cemetery, visitation from 10 until 1045. She was born in Roanoke and was a former member of Meadowview Methodist Church, surviving our son Alan Barrier and Lou of Eden, three grandchildren, daughter-in-law Sarah Barrier and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Jack Barrier. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meadowview Methodist Church. Jerry Wayne Dickerson, 77 of Eden, died August 27th. Riverside Services are Saturday at 2 at Overlook Cemetery. He was born in Danville, was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and worked in the sanitation department for the City of Eden until retirement, surviving our sons David and Bruce Dickerson of Eden, two grandchildren and brother Donnie Dickerson.
