from Bucks pocket to the shores of Orange Beach at all points in between an insider's perspective on Alabama politics. It's the Jeff poor show. I don't think this is a way. Good morning. Welcome to the Jeff poor show. If you talk with us. Six five. Thank you for listening on this Tuesday morning. We do appreciate it. Parker Griffith. The official. Democrat response to the Jeff poor show coming up here at about a half hour. You know, I know y'all a lot of y'all don't really care for his commentary, but you know, I'm putting on the spot here. The Democrats seem like they're losing a little steam here. And you know, here it is. This is this is probably the perception of the election cycle. Like, well, they just named Kamala Harris. The nominee and it feels kind of early in the election cycle. It's almost halfway through September. And the every one of these sort of ebbs and flows gets like even more pivotal as the timing goes along. And that's not a good time to be losing a little steam. I don't think. Now debate can change things tonight. I don't think it will. We saw the once in a lifetime election cycle altering debate in June. I mean, I'm not saying it won't happen, but the odds are that I mean, it can't happen. But the odds are it won't happen. But tonight will probably be whatever you see there and you'll take from it what you will. So, anyway, Parker Griffin will find out how he feels about things in about a half hour. I'm currently Dobson, as I mentioned yesterday, she will be with us in that 10 o'clock hour. And then as we do it Tuesday, he's typically Al Gop Chairman John Wall, who is hosting the Alara Trump and Montgomery at the Renaissance for their summer dinner kind of a late time summer dinner. But summer dinner, nonetheless, they have their summer meeting on Saturday. I think the only thing that's really relevant about that, maybe an IVF, some kind of IVF statement or something. We'll get trying to get some details on that in the 11 o'clock hour coming up. And in the meantime, you want to be in touch with the show 2513430106 is the text line. And we appreciate the feedback. I'll kick it off here real quick. It is just the Veterans Affairs saga. If you haven't heard Admiral Davis, the Commissioner has put in his resignation, effective at the end of the year. And it was just real. Essentially, it was a feud between the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs and the Secretary of Mental Health. Fighting over funding and there's an opioid settlement and we're on a go at how not to be handled. And both I think would, you know, in theory, have a claim or some sort of, yeah, some sort of claim to these funds. But the Governor lined up behind the Department of Mental Health. And the VA, the state VA decided they were going to try to go toe to toe with the governor. They were going to lose. They did lose. I lost the board member. As we talked about, Jack and Patrick quite a bit in this, especially this listening audience are familiar with him. And then top of the chain there, Admiral Davis stepping down. The lesson here is this. And I'll say this publicly. I mean, you can be corrupt. You can be incompetent. You, I mean, you can do a lot of things with this governor. She gives you a lot of grace. The one thing that she will not, will not tolerate is its subordination. That's all there is to it. She will not tolerate you telling her, no, I won't do something. And she, she was willing to die on this hill. She called it favors. I saw the, the, the pro tip of the Senate, the speaker of the house. Both budget chairman, most general fund chairman, the ETF chairman in the Senate after oral, Dale Jackson shows said the same thing. I think the governor is handling this appropriately. No one, no one was really willing to go to bat. Or the Department of Veterans Affairs. Their board are, are their commissioner and state government. I mean, a lot of people just kind of laying low, laying low, laying low. But that's, you, you don't commit that cardinal sin of subordination because I mean, it was, she was, and she would have suffered a tremendous hit here politically, I think. But it looked like yesterday before he submitted his resignation and before he met with the governor. The late kid Davis was at least going to survive for a month. So to call the meeting and he had the votes to hang on. But all she could do, she, I mean, I mean, points to board and they picked a commissioner. She just want to replace everyone on the board. Let's just say, I mean, that's how it is. But what does that look like? I mean, does it look petty to people? I don't know. And we're not really given. I mean, we're told that it has something to do with ARPA funds. And mismanagement as the justification. Guys, if we're going to talk about mismanagement of funds in this state, let's start with the prisons. Let's start with the, the, the, you come in a special session of the legislature in 2021. With the number that was about half what you need. And we're talking hundreds of millions of dollars off. So let's talk about the West Alabama corridor. In addition to that, just the engineer, the highway, a million dollars a mile. And there is incompetence and waste and mismanagement all throughout state government. This is, this was the hill she was going to die on. And seem to be okay with that. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six, but that's probably going away now. Obviously tonight the news is really, really the debate. It, this feels, this is, this is what this feels like right now. And I predicted this. You could go back and check the tape. It feels like Kamala Harris is 2020 run for president. Where, and this is exactly how it played out guys. Go back and look, she got a head of steam in one debate. But call she took it to Joe Biden and that debate. Remember, and then she rockets up to the top of the polls. Then she did nothing after that. That's documented. That is a fact. That's what happened. And then she eventually dropped out. And you were, you kept waiting for that next punch. She never came. She just stood there and did nothing. This is this playing out over again guys. Look. She comes out. She had Harrison nomination from Biden. She rockets up to the top of the polls. And then she does nothing. She has one ABC or one CNN interview. And then that's it can put. Maybe she'll do something tonight. But she was in other debates and she just didn't, she looked lost. She's not. She's like a, the burst of speed comes way too early with her. But tell me I'm wrong here. Tell me that this isn't a reflection of her last presidential run when she ran against Biden where all of a sudden there's a bunch of hype and a bunch of excitement around her. And the next thing you know, where's Kamala? I mean, there's a, there's a pattern here. She got that burst of speed and then it just sort of dropped off in 2020. This is what it looks like to me. And no one's, no one's put this together. But this just kind of knowing like there's a lack of a work ethic here. She doesn't seem like she wants to be bothered by the media who are in her corner by the way. I don't think it's the campaign protecting her. I guess Kamala via Kamala Kamala Harris is going to do what Kamala Harris wants to do. She doesn't want to deal with the stupid media. She has one stump speech. There's sort of a sense of entitlement there to the presidency and it's not going to work. You can put, you know, Trump and all his issues and the, the tendency to step on his own feet or whatever. Fine. But you tell me what the hallmarks of a presidential, winning presidential campaign that you see with the Harris campaign are. Well, you get the media in your corner. That's separate from the campaign. What do you see with this campaign is doing that they're doing so great. Now we may not, it may not show up until late because what we're always told is Democrats had the best ground game. But that supposes this and that assumes this, that Republicans don't have a ground game. I don't know what the Republican ground game is. That's something we'll probably talk a little bit with John Wall. But that's always what kept Joe Biden having a shot. What kept him in it was that the Democrats just had a good, good ground game, especially in these battleground states. So see what the debate means tonight. I don't know. The chances are this though, there's going to be a lot of hype and everybody talk about it. And then you're going to sit there to go sit through it and I would be really surprised. If anything comes out of it, that really changes the election anyway. They will probably both do what they do and whoever it is. That is a commentating on it. The Republican Democrats are liberal. They will see what they want to see out of it. I mean, is there any reason, is there any expectation to think that either Biden or I mean, either Kamala Harris or Trump will pull Biden and I don't think so. Oh, got a last story before we go to the break here. The Haitian stuff is well, especially Springfield, Ohio. And Democrats, I'll say this. This is sort of my takeaway. I mean, I don't think there's like cats on the run or anything. I mean, there's a lot of memes and stuff. And there's this perception that these Haitian migrants, refugees are going around eating people's pets. But Democrats are really under the defensive here. This is what you need to know. Like they're spending an awful lot of time playing defense on this. And they may be absolutely right. But if you're explaining you're losing the perception of the public, half the country is going to think that the ducks at the park are being threatened by a Biden immigration policy. And the media, what tells me is there's something going on here, like how the media are playing defense here and they're trying to make it. They're trying to make an offensive play here by saying it's JD Vance spreading misinformation. But I just don't think that's going to work. This is a policy by the administration is why we're even having this discussion in the first place. It's going to break here. I'll be right back. This is the Jet Force Show it up and talk 106 five. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] Tuesday morning Parker Griffith, the official Democrat response to the Jet Force Show coming up in the next segment. Gene, getting an early start today, Gene writes as such, Laura Trump is a daughter-in-law, no comment from you about the family nepotism continuing. I'm sure that she is more experienced and previous. She's the co-chair of, she's not the chairwoman. That's, that's, that's. So she's more of a sportswoman gene than the actual chair day to day. [MUSIC] The person. Michael Watley, who was the chairman of the, I believe the North Carolina Republican Party, is the chairman. They named her co-chair. And you can say what you want. I am about her not being experienced, but like she, she was a Fox News contributor. She has a podcast that is somewhat successful. And she's good at the talking points. I mean, that's, that makes her qualified to be the co-chairwoman of the RNC. So it may be family nepotism, but she's just as good as anybody. I mean, you want to talk about family nepotism, or you're just family hygiene. So we can, we can talk about Hunter Biden. You want to compare Laura Trump and Hunter Biden? Hell, you want to compare Don Jr. and Hunter Biden. You got to lose that one every time, Gene. Uh, Johnson's shutting down the government for his pile. Trump should really be good for the GOP. It's hard to fill Nancy's shoes. So Gene continues. Gene, do you watch a lot of morning, Joe? I don't think that them get to shut down the government. Because it's not a good look for the Democrats either. The Democrats will suffer if the government shuts down. The Republicans will suffer too. Both are going to give whatever it takes to keep the government open. I don't think the same actually, we got to make it through that first round. Uh, but we'll find out. I got a couple of them trying to get Barry Moore on soon at Robert Adderholt. It's been a long time since Congressman Adderholt was on. I'm going to try to get him on soon. Uh, and they text her. It's this. If she does good at tonight's debate, she will not do another debate. It will pretty much wrap up but went for the Democrats. I think I don't think so. Well, name me other than, I mean, name me any, name me debates that have impacted the presidential outcome. And so what about June? But prior to the Biden-Trump debate, really some sound effects here. Yeah, I mean, they don't matter. These debates just don't matter. Typically, they don't matter. And it has to be something very, very egregious. Or she just has to shine on through. She is not a name texture. The country's too divided. She may have the best debate performance ever. Half the country's going to see it as a not good. Okay. I don't think that is going to happen. Chris Royce, Kennedy Nixon, I mean, maybe, but what was that? Chris, were you even alive during the Kennedy Nixon debate? I mean, I wasn't. And they do three historically, they've done three presidential debates and a vice presidential debate. And one or two out of, let's see, three, so, I mean, I mean, presidential cycle, so we had 12, 10, 9 or 30 debates to have mattered. That's the problem. These things just don't matter. They're entertaining. It will watch them. But to act like you're going to get something that's going to change the way this race is going, does it happen? I mean, Trump had his one liner. It gets Hillary Clinton. Reagan had his against Mondale. And these things don't matter. And that's, it's a high percentage. That's what we're going to see this evening. Let's get a break here. We'll be right back. This is the Jet Force show on FM Talk 10065. A couple of guys in first class on a flight from New York to Los Angeles, kind of making small talk, killing time, flirting with the flight attendant. We'll go back to the Jet Force show on FM Talk 10065. They just stay with us on Tuesday, 40-251-3430-106. In a simple text line, let us know what is on your mind. So they come on a program. Karly Dobson from the second congressional district will be with us and, well, running as a Republican in the second congressional district. And then finally, in that 11 o'clock hour, out of every Republican party. Chairman John Wall, so please stay tuned for that. In the meantime, 2513430106, we want to be in touch with the program. All I got to do is text me and we will respond to whatever that is on your mind. Joining us now on the line, however, the official Democrat response to the Jet Force show, former Congressman Parker Griffith, Congressman, how you been? We've been well. We've had a little snap in the weather. It has been '95. It's been '82 and '81, but '65 in the morning. And all the corn, both of the corn's in. The beans don't look great. The corn wasn't great. But anyway, it's a wonderful day in North Alabama. And we're all looking forward to the debate being over because I think we're all sick of hearing about it. And rarely does the debate change anything unless it's a Biden-type meltdown. I would love to know what this strategy for each one of the people, Trump or Paris, what their strategy is going to be. But we'll find out. And the Trump supporters are hoping Trump calms down and doesn't go off in a rant. And people are hoping that Kamala can convince the voter that she's presidential material. Tell me what you think of this, Congressman. What's your take on... This doesn't look like a presidential campaign to me. It may sound like a right-wing Republican talking point, but this is where she screwed up in 2020. She got a big head of steam. She boxed Biden in a corner and looked like she could win the thing. And then we just didn't see anything. And maybe it's probably to be what you do with your media. But one debate. She just doesn't seem like she's as motivated to be president as one might want to be to be leader of the free world, right? In a way, you are right. But in another way, she has been working nonstop 24/7. I mean, she's putting the energy out there. And she knows it's going to be all about turnout. And she's relying on female blacks, LGBTQ. And interestingly enough, there's a significant number, and I don't know whether it's a 2% or 3%. But Republicans are frightened by Trump because Trump, as opposed to a guy like Savon building a program at Alabama in a foundation program, when Trump disappears, there's nothing left of the Republican Party. It'll be in shambles. And so I think some Republicans are kind of hoping Trump doesn't win because he's capable of destroying the damn party. Well, let me ask you the question this way. I don't think that'll happen. I mean, the magazine will be around. And we may not be a Trump, we may not be the face of it. But somebody will be around to capture that. But let me ask you this, like, I guess the Democrat that would like to see Harris win. I mean, wouldn't you like to see her dole? I mean, would you like to see her dole a little bit more? I think Democrats have by far the superior ground game. And I think that's what kept Biden in this. I mean, you go to a major American city, the registered voters, and you just, you see them on the ground, boots on the ground. There were Republicans haven't really figured out how to compete. But I mean, just as a, from the very top of the upper echelon of the campaign, I don't know. I just, it doesn't feel like a presidential campaign. Let's compare Obama, Hillary Biden. I mean, they were out doing a lot of things. Biden was doing like the TV interviews from his basement. At least he was doing them. And I don't, this strategy doesn't really feel presidential campaign-ish to me. I don't think it's a typical campaign. I think the Harris campaign is relying maybe too much on Trump coming apart, which he's slowly but surely doing. And pushing the voters toward Harris, I think Harris is running a campaign that's pretty low-key. She's not coming out with any policy statements unless she comes out tonight with some. But it is a different campaign. And really and truly, you can't have a typical campaign if you're running against Trump. Trump is kind of a circus. And it's hard to, it's hard to get anybody's attention if you're, if you're trying to compete with the circus. From your point of view, Congressman, I mean, what is, what is Trump doing different this go around that he's not done in the past? But it doesn't seem like he's doing anything different. That's what I'm saying. He talked about all the verge of meltdown and that's what's going to cost him. I mean, yeah, he didn't win in 2020, but here he is. He's a nominee again. Do you see a, do you see the different that would make you think that. I think he's coming, I think he's more unstable than he was. I think he, he, his attention span is very, very short. And I think he's struggling to figure out how to attack Paris. And he hasn't found the magic yet. Biden was an easy target. But now Trump's the old man that can't keep his mind straight. Trump's the guy who, who wanders off off the subject and starts doing, you know, word associations and just kind of, he kind of like talking to an old man that said too much to drink at the bar. You know, you don't know what the next sentence is going to be. I think that, that's different. I think that he was, he was more focused in 16. And I don't think he can figure out how to attack Harris. I mean, you, it doesn't do him any good to call her ugly or she's got a funny laugh or. I don't like what she's wearing or, or say she's crazy or whatever. That's not, that's not, that's not going to help him because he's already got his base. I mean, this is what is there. I think they're going to do. Congressman is just going to try to make her. Make her kind of own the, the Biden administration in the last four years. I mean, I guess you would argue with that's not necessarily a bad thing, but does she need to distance herself from Joe Biden? As she may, immigration is going to come up. She's got, she better know how to handle that in two or three easy sentences. And it's easy for her to handle it. They have a solution in the Senate to the immigration problem, but Trump killed it. And so she can say that out loud and be accurate about that. Trump did not want a solution to the immigration situation because he wanted to campaign. I guess she can point that out. Inflation, the average American only gives lip service to capitalism. Capitalism is a cyclical of economic philosophy. We know it's gloom or bust. We know we're going to go through periods of great, great positiveness. And we're going to fall back into a recession or a depression. That's what capitalism is. But the average guy on the street is tickled when the Dow is getting this high. But when it goes low, they forget that they're capitalists. They want somebody to fix it for them. So she can point to the infrastructure. Everybody in Alabama can look around and see that there's things that are going on that were not going on when Trump was president. So what does she say? How does she handle the inflation discussion? It's hard to handle that because it's an economic... That the average guy on the street doesn't want to hear. If eggs are three times what they were or breads twice, what it is, the housewife knows whether there's inflation or not. And who's ever in the White House gets stung by it. But the inflation, the foundation for the inflation, women lay in that, it's '08. America has been printing money since '08. And at some point in time, inflation had the rear its ugly head. Now, it happens to do that on Biden's watch. Now, to his credit, he's got some pretty good people that are trying to handle that. And inflation is moderating the possibility that there's going to be an interest rate cut in the month. And so, Biden's been pretty steady. He's been a really good president. He can't do anything about the Jews under Palestine. I mean, that is a hate war. That's a religious war. They're radical on both sides. And it's going to go on for another thousand years. If I were Harris, I would tie Trump to the president or the CEO of Russia. I mean, he is... That's what I was going to ask you about. The Ukraine, I mean, we haven't seen her really hit that far policy subject matter very, very hard yet. She's going to have to tonight. I don't think she can escape it. It's this gossip is this, whether it's in Brown or Princeton or all those high dollar universities and the young people who are camped out and think that they're changing the world by sleeping on the campus and paying $800,000 a year to go to school there. It's silly, but the press covers it. And so it'll be an issue. I don't know that anybody's going to change anything here in America. And the UK, Germany, France are going to continue to send weapons to Zelensky to Ukraine. And we are as well. I think that Trump's desire to isolate us and not confront Putin and give him free reign is a mistake. It's an American mistake. We should know better than that. And I think that's a weakness for Trump. But she's going to have to address that. Yeah, we'll find out back to the Israel question. I mean, half. I don't know how divided Democrats are right now. And I assume you still have some, you know, pro-Israel Zionists adjacent Democrats out there. But I mean, they seem to be in sideline, but I mean, the institutional left right now seems to be very, maybe it's anti Netanyahu or whatever, but they seem to be kind of lining up, at least sympathetic to the Palestinians in Gaza. Like she, what does she do there? I think she's got to be pro-Israel. I don't think we can, but listen, the Palestine started this. And I mean, they, when they, when they kill 1200 Jews, take 250 hostages. Yeah, and you're absolutely right. But are you worried that, I mean, you look at a state like Michigan, battleground state, will those, you know, will those Muslims in the Detroit suburbs, will they stay home or will they? I mean, I mean, it seems like, that seems like kind of threading that needle would be tricky if I'm looking at this as a Democrat. It's very tricky. It's very tricky, but I don't think she's got a choice. She needs to be pro-Israel. She needs to say Israel has the right to defend itself. We as Americans would assume that right. I mean, we, we dropped the bomb on the jabs. I think we, we didn't ask anybody's permission. We, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I mean, we, we put the bomb on them. They, they, they were killing our people. And, and, and we were not going to invade Japan and lose another 100,000 Americans. That's how Netanyahu is thinking. He's a warrior. He's a warrior. He's actually had a gun in his hand and he shot people. You got to remember who he is. His, his brother was a warrior and, and died rescuing Jews. So it's, it's war over there. And, and it would be a mistake for us to come down on the side of Hamas or Hezbollah. That, that's foolish. Well, the last question, the last question, we'll get you out of here on this. Like, what do you, like how, how hard should she go on the, the whole discussion there? Like, how hard should she, should, should she just, like, straight at least say this is what we're going to do. And this is the way we need to be our, is this like maybe, maybe, maybe don't make this at the top of your list to talk about any kind of avoid it. What do you think? Well, she's going to have to be a very, very skilled broken field runner here. But I think her, her response needs to be, we are very, very close to a piece of cord. If we can figure out how the Egypt, Palestinian border can be controlled. That's a sticking point. Every time they get close to it, Hamas changes its mind. But I think what she needs to emphasize is I'm for peace. I'm going to work hard to make sure we have peace in a fair just way. And that's basically all she can say is that I'll use the power of the office to force a piece of cord. Guys, we got to leave it there. We're out of time. But I always appreciate you making time for us. And we'll talk again soon. All right. Stay safe. You too. Great. That was Parker Griffith, the official Democratic response to the Jeff Porsche show. We'll be right back. This is FIT Talk, 1065. It's where I drank my first beer. It's where I found Jesus. Where if my first call, I tore it all to pieces. Welcome back to the Jeff Porsche show at FIT Talk, 1065. Thank you for staying with us on this Tuesday morning. We have one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six. That's the text line. Let's see here. Community notes want to be right. No matter what happens tonight, you will declare Trump the winner. And no matter what happens tonight, community notes want to be, you will declare Harris the winner. And that is essentially my point. It's like it's whatever you want to see. And life goes on. So let's not pretend that we will, I mean, we could. It could happen. But in all likelihood, these debates do not matter. Let's kind of temper our expectations. Mr. Plot. I would bet on the confidence large Trump at any position they put her in campaign wise. I haven't seen her stepping it for really yet. That didn't come out right. She just seems to do well on camera coming across Missouri Sharpie. I think she's a guy. You need to know the thing about Laura Trump was they, the Trump campaign at 16 Flint, North Carolina. She was kind of the field marshal for North Carolina. That's where she's from. And you could, I mean, you could go back and look at the, the books about the 16 campaign. And she was very, very involved in the North Carolina strategy. I think she's qualified. Just because of who she married, she's disqualified is what Jean seems to think. And Jean, as we know, is suffering from Trump to Ranger syndrome. Uh, Jaybird, 65 Southbound. Uh, just before I said 13, it's Sarah Landrick slash traffic. That was about 20, 25 minutes ago. So maybe I don't know if it's still there. And on Michael Parker's point of why the establishment probably can just don't like Trump is 100% accurate. The word he's going to demolish the deep state. He's got to, he's got to dismantle it. If the deep state beats Trump again this time and I think they beat him in 17 beyond. But he has got to go after the intelligence agencies, a clean house. And you're going to hear the news stories. He's apparently in our national security. But they are working as a political apparatus right now. That's got to change. We're back. This is if a dog, 106 five. [MUSIC] From Bucks Pocket to the shores of Orange Beach at all points in between. An insider's perspective on Alabama politics. It's the Jeff Porsche show. I don't think we've done it this way. [MUSIC] Welcome back to the Jeff Porsche show. If I'm talking 106 five. Thank you for staying with us on this Tuesday morning 2513430106. Carley Dobson coming up in about 30 minutes running his Shamari figures. That campaign continues. We'll get an update there. And then John Wall, the chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, kind of gives the state a play. Debate tonight. Obviously, we'll spend some time on that. And then beyond that, we'll see where it goes. I'm just my word of caution to you out there expecting a made for TV popcorn filled fast. You know, fireworks. It's just it's not going to happen. Probably not. I mean, it's about downplaying it. Yeah, because I think there's a little bit of hype here. Even if she has a good debate. It's not going to knock Trump out of it. Trump would have to collapse up there similar to Biden to be out of it. And I mean, that's what it would take. And is there any reason to think that the Trump will have a Biden-esque performance tonight? I don't think so. And it's just it's it's it's part of the pomp and circumstance of a presidential election. And people get out of it what they want, I suppose. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six, please. By all means text me and tell me I am wrong. This will be the most important presidential. This will be the single most important political event of our life. Because I don't think so. Michael Parker's point on establishing public installing Trump's. Oh, yeah, we already went through that one. We have a few here. Damn Yankee. This old cut is off his mark time to call it a day. And a fan of Parker Griffith. Tony Jeff. I appreciate you having the Democratic Congress bill on your show. Mobile gets to hear from the many lies he tells Tony Tony. Tony. And I know it's kind of frivolous to try to debate him. So all you can really do is try to get a question in. I think the Democrats will have a good response on Israel. I don't think they have a good response on the way Harris is handling her campaign. Like if I'm watching this and I'm a Democrat and we have a lot of Democrats listening. Well, enough. Do you feel good about the campaign she is running? The Democrats are doing some good things to win. But it's Kamala Harris. She's sort of like. The patent thorn of candidates here. Well, maybe not that bad. She's not coughing the ball up every series. She's not. She's willing to either take the knee or hand the ball off every down. And she's not going. She's not looking downfield. She's not looking to throw the ball deep. And maybe she doesn't want to throw an interception. But at some point, I mean, you're going to have to connect some of those passes downfield if you want to win the game. Maybe it's just the old bear Bryant strategy. Scott says, this guy makes me want to vomit. Joe, this guy is right. He kind of goes up and down great when Republicans are charged and he goes down and crappy when Democrats are in charge. Josh, Trump duration syndrome is a real thing. I have family, friends and people. I thought were friends lose their mind over this one human being. I have not liked the guy since the 80s, but that's not enough for these cuckoos. I'm supposed to hate him and more. I don't hate him. I voted for him and I don't like him. Kiss my grits. Trump derangement suffers. Here's what I think the whole Trump derangement thing is. Like it's a real phenomenon. And the whole success of democratic party politics since 2016 has hinged on Trump derangement syndrome. I mean, that's been the basis to foundation the fundamental principle of democratic party politics for the last eight years has been hate Trump. Get Trump, stop Trump. And it's kind of worked. But it was funny. Like when Biden won and here it is, it's 2021. The January six, new cycle dies out. But like the media continue with the Trump, like what's Trump doing? Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. I mean, you could go back and look at the amount of time they spent on the private citizen throughout the midterms and all the way up to his announcement last year. What else is there? And I think in a presidential election, it's losing steam. It only gets you so far down the field. It's like expecting your defense to score all your points or something. I only feel like there's only one side of the ball here. And it's probably a lot to ask the American public to go along with. Okay. For the last four years, we told you that the president's fine. There's nothing wrong there. The, the, the, all the stuff about his child is just rushing disinformation. That's what we've been telling you. For the last, uh, for the last eight years. The last six years, let's say. No, no, no, that's, and then, oh, and he is fine. Joe Biden is fine. He is all his, uh, effect. You know, he's easy. He's just totally aware and totally crisp as a cucumber. Don't listen to the disinformation on Fox News. And then like we get to the debate in June. Oh, wow. We didn't know he was that bad. And it's a little too cute here, right? I mean, like, okay. Well, people are like, okay, well, we'll give the media the benefit of the doubt. We didn't. You and I listening in this audience, but I ain't got a lot of Democrats and a lot of Americans. Okay. Well, yeah, there's clearly something wrong there. And we didn't know and they kept it concealed. They didn't. We've been yelling about this for years, but they give. The media and the Democrats are mulling in there. They say, okay, well, let's go with Kamala Harris. But at this point, it's, it's just a little much to think that, well, you just have to just continue to trust us, trust us, trust us, trust us. I guess it does not feel like a presidential campaign that the candidate wants to win. It's what I would expect the administration should she win to be like. It's like she is sort of a figurehead. And there's other things that are kind of running the show and she's like the face of the campaign, but she isn't the campaign. She is just a, like the ideal candidate that checks all the boxes for Democrats. She sees, you know, girl power, black female, an Indian heritage, California prosecutor, vice president. I mean, all these guys stealing. She has shattered and she's checks all these boxes. But what is she? Well, what is her big issue? Like you can't say, what is Kamala Harris's signature issue with Trump? It was like border wall with Biden. I don't know what it was. I mean, he for years was known kind of known as the anti George W. Bush Iraq war guy. Obama Obama wasn't necessarily a particular issue, but just hope and change. Hope and change. What's the theme here? What's the theme? What's the brand of Harris? Why is anybody asking these questions? I mean, I must be crazy here, but doesn't feel like a presidential campaign. Popcorn moment will be when she shows her arrogance and how Trump reacts. No one will want to deny it. I think you're right. They're from an unnamed texture money. You would think once the liars get older, they would make an effort to get to heaven. I don't think her is still on Satan's side. Michael, I disagree with Kamala with sports analogy. I agree. She'll take the knee, but she's always ready to take the ball deep. I don't think that's. I don't think that's why you missed the sort of connotation there, or maybe intentionally. Pat, I see the damnedest thing yesterday on Monterey Road downtown. A Harris Wall Street art science sitting right next to adoption sign. That's the real thing, I think. It's sort of this like a country club Republicanism. I think that is a real thing. It may not mean that many people, but there are people out there who will go and do it. They'll go and never vote for Donald Trump. They find him vulgar, disgusting, gross, icky, whatever. He's just yucky and, you know, but really, carly Dobson. Well, she's, she's one of us. She went to the right schools. She's works at the big law firm. You could trust her and there's, you know, maybe it's a few hundred people. But there is nobody out there. If you see this, Pat, I would be surprised if he pulled up and you saw somebody with Trump's side next to the Shamari figure side. Uh, Tim, Jeff is Republicans have to get reelected again. I hope Republicans don't. McConnell, him like the last time. I don't think they'll be able to. I mean, McConnell, Michael has a power play with McConnell, Tim. What, what, what they did is it's kind of fascinating. This just tells you like, typically if a Republican is the, uh, the Republicans have said it and Republicans in the White House, the president is no problem getting his cabinet through. It's like a rubber stamp. And this was such an underreported story. McConnell threw a lot of obstacles at the Trump administration. And McConnell, he got his stupid wife as the department of transportation secretary. And still wouldn't give Trump what he wanted. When the, the Senate was in recess, he made Luther Strange go to Washington, D.C. to Washington, D.C., lame duck, Luther, straight, who had lost his primary to rolling more. Go to D.C. Gavilan, like a pro forma session of the Senate so that Donald Trump could have recess appointments. Like McConnell played dirty against Trump. McConnell played like a Democrat would against Trump. And he would put John Cornyn or, or he would put, um, uh, John Thune or whoever out on TV. To give him a bunch of happy talk to say, yeah, we're, we're, you know, we're back in Trump. What are you talking about? And the clock was taken away. It was almost like you had three parties. You had like kind of this magga Trump thing in the White House and people didn't know what to do with it. And you had just like Republican polity politics as usual in the Senate. And then you had the house, which was a Paul Ryan and Paul Ryan kind of went. I think Paul Ryan's one of those people who got broke by Trump. That can't happen this time. Kevin McCarthy was kind of a genius here. I'm a captain to the Trump energy. And I don't, I'll never understand why Nancy Maize, Matt Gates and people like that didn't just stick with him. I think we know what's going on with Gates, but the others. Big question mark. We'll be right back. This is FM Talk. One of those six, five. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've thrown away the blues. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. to the job for showed up and talk with a six five to the other stay with us on this Tuesday morning to 513430106 come up and the next segment will hear from a caroline dops is will stay tuned for that. Back to the text line. Name texture by some miracle come all Harris wins. Would that be considered a legitimate presidency with her not winning the Democrat nomination and just being pointed to it. Oh, I see. I explained this the other day. What's important here is the Democratic party is a private organization. So regardless of who you go vote for, they can do whatever they want, essentially. You know, guys, when you when you voted a presidential primary, you're not voting for, I mean, you're, I guess, on the ballot. You're voting for Trump or DeSantis or Haley or whoever or if you're Democrat and then have all the choices you had Biden and some others. But you're really voting for those those delegates at the convention. The delegates and Democrats do it very different. They have super delegates and they have a bunch of checks to keep the party from getting too far out there, but I don't think Kamala Harris could have won a Democratic primary. I think they would have gone with a thing to Democrat voter, primary voters in America would have gone with a far, far, far left candidate. And that terrifies the establishment Democrats. They have all this energy and all this political capital with their base, but their base is crazy. Your base is very emotional. Their base is going to go into third world socialism, give it the opportunity. And they know this and they want to come on Harris, albeit left of center, would never have won. They would have opted for somebody far to the left, you know, more secular, more in like a European socialism. And that's not what that doesn't quite get the bills paid, as they say. But it won't be an illegitimate presidency because she won a nomination. But in essence, what happened at the convention, you had a bunch of faithless delegates who went with Kamala Harris. I mean, you know, it's one of the Trump is 78 barely coherent. Where's everyone in question Biden's age of fitness? Where's the headline screaming to range old man pedals nonsense while threatening violent? See, this is Trump derangement syndrome community. You know, it's one of the Kamala Harris is 59 years old, and she talks in circles, like she talks in circular arguments or salads. And I think it's all in the eyes to be holder, but there is no, there is absolutely no comparison. And Trump stumbles. You can say what you want. You can try and you're, you're not, if you take this, Biden's decline is pretty serious. And Trump's not even in that zip code. This is not even a comparison. You're lying through your teeth or your fingers or whatever you're doing there. I mean, you know, it's one of me. To think that Trump's at any, any, any way in the middle state that Joe Biden is in. I mean, he is a, it's just sad is pathetic. And they had to prop him up. You don't like Trump. Acknowledge that you have an issue with him. Can you do those want to be? And it impairs your judgment. I mean, like, I don't see much fall off of Trump from 16. I mean, he just says crazy things, but he's always said crazy things. He's always been like kind of the, the, like guy who would always use hyperbole or this is essentially what it is. You know, it's want to be the guys like you in the media, Democrats take Trump literally, but not seriously. Whereas the supporters and republicans take him seriously, but not literally. That's what you guys do. Yeah. And it's. The problem is there's probably more of his supporters these days than your person. And you have to figure that out, how to deal with it. I'll pray for you. We'll be right back. This is a Jet Force show and I've been talking 106 five. Hey, yes, we are big chickens. Yes, we are hill racers. People get out of our way wherever we go. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] [MUSIC] I'm doing great. Thanks. How are you doing? Do well, do well. Thanks for coming on. I appreciate it. Well, I can kind of give us a rundown how the, how the campaign is going. No, it's going great. Yesterday traversed from end to end of the, of the district started off in the, in the Bay area and ended up in you fall. So we are, we are keeping the tires hot. We have a ton of momentum and support and just 56 days out. So we are, we are pounding hard. How much, you know, it looked a little tricky, I guess would be the word, a new, new top of the violent candidate, presidential candidate with Kamala Harris. And like my perception nationally is she's losing a little steam here, came out of the gate really hot, but it seems to kind of, they seem to be getting back to normal. Is that, do you feel that on the ground? Is that sort of a reflection of what's going on in, in your race? Yeah, and I think people are, are, you know, actually awakening to the fact that all of that scheme that sugar high was, you know, it's been entirely bolstered by the press. She was the most unpopular vice president in American history based on ratings just three months ago. And then, you know, and then once she becomes a presumptive nominee, the media acts as if she's the greatest thing since life spread. But the people of America and certainly people of Alabama district two are smarter than that. They're looking at her record, you know, it's the most liberal senator, more liberal than Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. And then they're looking at, you know, the limit to obviously her campus trying to limit the amount of unscripted appearances, but, you know, even those those minimal ones and looking at, you know, her own website. You know, she doesn't know her policies were listed from the Biden campaign website. And they just now appeared almost two months into her being the presumptive nominee. So I think people are starting to wise up to the fact that there isn't a lot of there there. And what there there is is really troubling and very far left and not where this country dates ahead. I think right now, and then this is especially true in Alabama, but not that Alabama is, you know, going to move this presidential election is going to do what's going to do. It's immigration, but in particular, you hear these stories about these Haitian refugees kind of being scattered around the country and, well, I don't think there's anywhere I haven't seen your reports anywhere in the second district. I mean, that there be a put in rural places in Alabama and they're being put in places like Silicon, Albert, Bill, and effort, Athens, and kind of react to that. I mean, that is a policy of this administration, I think is going to move a lot of voters. Oh, absolutely. And you certainly hear about the just kind of the horrific data affairs in Springfield, Ohio. But yes, here, you know, in Alabama, it's not the second congressional district, but we've had a lot of rural area. And the second congressional district. So this is a policy of this administration and you see here, Harris, you know, bragging about the fact that they've extended protective data to another hundred thousand Haitians. You know, it's not out of the question that somewhere in Connecticut County or Monroe County or Barbara County could be the next destination for, you know, some of these illegal and undocumented migrants. That the Biden Harris administration is protecting. I think that's all the more significant. I was at the Southern border about two weeks ago to kind of see what it was like on the ground and the inefficiencies of this administration. And then I was criticized by my opponent in this race, calling it a photo op and that people in this district are not concerned about the border. And of course, he would say that because he was part of Biden's transition team that opened the border. He wants to minimize the impact of the flood of illegal aliens that have come across in the past three and a half years, but the truth is they're putting a strain on our social services throughout the country in this district. And clearly he hasn't been talking to law enforcement, because, you know, you can talk to Sheriff Birch and he will tell you about just the dramatic increase of drugs, the increase in crime. You know, I've been to, you know, I fully support our law enforcement and have been to many events throughout the district have met with law enforcement, Democrat, Republican, it doesn't matter. We need to support them and they will all tell you they're seeing increased gang violence, all of which is exacerbated by the crisis that our Southern border and then by administration that it prioritizes non citizens over citizens. And that is that's hurting American safety, but it's also hurting our pocketbook when we have a presidential candidate and Kamala Harris to his pledge to give everyone who's here in this country illegally or, or not, healthcare and education. You know, we already have a crisis when it comes to just money not being there for our own citizens and it's truly going to come to a breaking point. If we, if we elect Kamala Harris, and I'm in this race would just be a rubber stamp for her policies, again, indicated that by, by trying to minimize this crisis. And I tell you this, and this, we're in the middle of a presidential election, a very heated presidential election. And you're seeing these things go around going on around the country mentioned Springfield, Ohio. And it's interesting to watch kind of the media play defense on this one. But anyway, I mean, this isn't the middle of a presidential election. And they're not really able to tamp some of this down with the immigration woes. What do you, I mean, can you imagine what it would look like if she's elected the elections in a rearview mirror and you're not really worried about winning a vote. It's just going to be wide open, I would think. Yes, no, no. I think, I think you'll see this, a Kamala Harris administration doubling down on this. And it combined with the fact that the Democrats in Congress, you know, all but I think five of them voted against the Stave Act, which was just a piece of legislation which says that you have to be proof, provide proof of citizenship to vote. And, you know, by the way, that doesn't undermine the voting rights of anyone in this country or in Alabama, Second Congressional District, you know, for folks that are seeking social security or government benefits or, you know, they all have to provide proof of citizenship for that. But you should also have to provide proof of citizenship to vote. You look at virtually all of the first world countries throughout the world. Voters have to provide proof of citizenship and so the, you know, the open border policies of the Harris administration combined with Democrats in Congress that would vote to undermine the most sacred right of American citizens to vote. In fact, disenfranchising American citizens is really troubling. And I think, you know, we hear about that, I guess, you know, with the extension of Kamala Harris's protected status for the Haitian migrants. It's up to about 100 and 50,000. I think you hear about the 8 to 10 million illegal immigrants that have come across our southern border. And I think we get desensitized to these numbers. But, you know, I think a good perspective is the number of allied troops that invaded the five beaches and Normandy on D day with 160,000. And then we're looking at, you know, 8 to 10 million non tax paying illegal undocumented immigrants that have come across in the past three and a half years. Basically, the equivalent of the allied troops, number of patients that have been provided this protected status and entitled to services that are funded directly by our hardworking tax paying citizens. It's nothing short of an invasion that's aided in about it by the Biden Harris figures administration. Join by Carolee Dosto. She's a Republican nominee in the second congressional district. She faces shimmering figures on November 5th. Carolee, let's talk about the image of the SAVE Act and this election integrity. We're really going to have to test the security of Alabama, right? In your election. I mean, how worried about some of this? Are you? I mean, I've been living in this state long enough to know. Sometimes Democrats like to play. I mean, a little cute with absentee ballots and everything, but with so much on the line here. Is that on the radar that, you know, make sure that everything is on the up and up? Absolutely. Yes, we're very grateful to have volunteers from across the state that are on our election integrity team. We're ensuring that we have poll watchers and folks that are, you know, ensuring that fair and free elections take place. And I want everyone who's entitled to vote in the second congressional district to get registered and go out to vote, educate yourself about the election. Again, that's really important that every citizen be an educated and informed voter and exercise their right to vote. I think certainly one of the biggest enemies to American politics is not left or right, but it's apathy. So, you know, I want everyone who's entitled to vote to get out there and vote, but we don't need non-citizens voting. We don't need people who live outside the district. You haven't lived here for years to be voting. And so that's why I'm also very grateful that when it comes to our state officials, you know, West Allen is working hard to purge the voter rolls of folks that are non-citizens or folks that now live in Mississippi or Georgia and, you know, shouldn't be on the rolls. And again, I also have to commend the state legislature for passing Senate Bill 1, which is a measure that precludes absentee ballot harvesting. So that, you know, you cannot engage in some of these tactics that we've seen Democrats engage in in prior elections here and throughout the country. And again, that's why it's so important to elect the Secretary of State with integrity to elect circuit clerks in your counties and probate judges. And to thank your registrar, your board of registrars, you know, again, there are a lot of people that go into ensuring and work hard to ensure that we have air and free elections in this state. And so, again, I think we all need to be really aware of the role that people play locally and statewide and, of course, nationally as well. Talk a little bit about your grad game, your turnout, getting people to the polls. I mean, if you ought to be motivated to vote, it is a presidential election cycle. And I do anticipate higher turnout, but I mean, so much of this election is going to go really based on that, like, who Republican or Democrat really went to turnout game, don't you think? Absolutely. And, you know, this district is interesting in that it's a very competitive district, but in a not competitive state. So, you know, if this district were in Georgia, you know, you've got the presidential candidate pouring a lot of money into Georgia and then, and then, you know, that would impact the race like this over there. But here, you know, it's pretty much a given that Alabama is going to go for Trump. So that, again, creates apathy on both sides of the aisle. You know, and so what we're trying to do is, well, first of all, there's still some confusion about, especially in Mobile County, about where people are and which district they're in. So also, you know, again, still some bills and voter education, but also letting folks know, you know, how important this election is both in terms of national implications. And when it comes to control of the house and whether or not we can actually curb inflation, whether we can actually secure our border and stop the woke agenda, but also when it comes to representation of South Alabama. You know, I'm proud to be from Monroe County. And I grew up recognizing the fact that, you know, a lot of the economic drivers in our state derived from the Bay Area and from Mobile, and that has never been more true than it is today, the opportunities that there are Mobile. So it's so important that we have someone representing this district who is living and working in the district who's raising their kids in the district who's invested in the future of this district. And he's going to prioritize the specific needs of this district, not someone who's been in Washington for the past decade that, you know, trying to pave a career path for themselves. You know, I got in this race. I have a great job that is very fulfilling. And, but I got in this race because I wanted to ensure that my kids have opportunities in South Alabama, that, you know, that they did not have to, when they finished high school, did not have to seek employment or higher education. You know, in Atlanta or Nashville that they had opportunities to come back to because we've got tremendous resources. We have tremendous opportunity. Again, when it comes to the port to the new airport and with the timber industry, agriculture manufacturing all throughout this district, but we've got to have policies that that foster an environment that where those opportunities can really thrive. We've also got to provide economic relief to a lot of the families that are struggling throughout this district. It's not just hard. It's impossible almost for for many families, you know, of, of Alabamaans that have credit cards. 31% of Alabamaans with credit cards are in delinquency. We're really at our crisis state and we cannot tolerate three and a half more years of the same. And so I want to want to fight for change and I want to fight for Alabama family district. Kelly, we'll get you out of here on this real quick. And I see this jaw sharp story that went up this morning. You're opponent. This seems completely like just lazy and not well thought out is like trying to tie you to this project 2025, which seems to be more like a national Democrat strategy. And I just think kind of falling flat. People aren't really buying it. Are you kind of surprised that you're getting like just the retreads from the Biden Harris effort thrown at you by your opponent? Yeah, well, I think it shows you how locked up he is with with the National Democrats. He's getting talking points from them on how to how to attack your opponent. And I've never mentioned that document. I'm not I'm wholly unfamiliar with it. And so the fact that he should bring it up every opportunity he can is again, you know, I think he certainly trying to convey that, you know, he takes his orders from Alabama and not from Washington. But, you know, even when it comes to attacking me, it's not anything original or based on anything I've said, it's it's some, you know, list of talking points that I guess the D triple C circulates the candidates every morning. And it's your mongering trying to distract from the fact that the Democrats have been in power for the past three and a half years, and they've been in power for the 12 of the last 16 years. The problems that we have today are why at their feet. And if you want change, the Republican Party is the party of change and hope. And so, again, I think it's just that it's really kind of silly. You tell me somebody in Monroe County or Connecticut County didn't even knows what the help project 2025 is. I'd be surprised. But I'm shocked to see that for him because it just, it seems very, very. I just like do better like think of something better don't just use that as your attack. Yeah, well, I mean, a bit again, we just saw the Harris campaign lift all their policies from the Biden campaign website. They're desperate because they cannot defend the policies that have driven America into the ground for the past three and a half years that have resulted in a 25% rise in grocery prices. 38% rise in energy costs that have diminished our military might standing in the world that have really undermined the sovereignty of our nation with open border policies. So they're desperate and desperate and derivative. And Carly, we got to get real quick folks will get involved with your campaign need to find out more. How can they do so? Yes. Yes. Please check us out Dobson for Congress.com. That's D.O.B. is in Bravo. S.O.N. F.O.R. Congress.com. Need your financial support. The Democrats are going to throw everything they've got at this beat. You can donate online. You can also volunteer to doorknox, phone bank, get a yard sign. Anyway, you'd be willing to help. We're going to take all of that. Carol, we've got to go. We'll be there for a break, but thanks for coming on. Thank you. All right, we'll be right back. This is F.F. Talk 10065. I hear you singing in the wire. I can hear you through the line. And the witch is all I know. Welcome back to the Jet Force show. If I'm talking 10065. 2513430106 hits up on that text line. I wish I had more a little more time to kind of talk about the project 2025 stuff. John Sharp side journalist, probably one of three people at able.com who tries to try to do his job objectively. Man and writes that story and and Shemari figures goes really hard on this project 2025 narrative. This being used against Trump by Harris. It's just, I don't know that works, but we can talk about that more in the next segment. This is the Jet Force show on F.F. Talk 10065. From Bucks pocket to the shores of Orange Beach at all points in between an insider's perspective on Alabama politics. It's the Jeff poor show. I don't think this way. Welcome back to the Jet Force show on F.F. Talk 10065. Thank you very much for listening. Our number three begins right now coming up in about 30 minutes. John Wall of the Alabama Republican Party. So stay right where you are. You're not going to see much change or come out of this debate. And it's just a rare, rare thing. That debates swing an election one way or another. Well, yeah, I would add we're much more closely divided as a country than we've ever been. So maybe it matters on the margins. But typically the way presidential elections go. The parties were much closer philosophically than they are now. And it did come down to kind of use the debate to portray a brand or a personality. A lot of the electorate would have voted on people just based on like their demeanor or character or whatever. And I don't think that's the case anymore. I think we are very divided philosophically in this country. So whatever comes out of the debate tonight. It's something mean to Kamala Harris. Oh my God, you believe the way you talk to a woman? So this I don't know. Maybe I'll be wrong in this time tomorrow. I'll be eating crow. But let's not think that this is going to be a make or break moment. Because historically based on past precedent, it hasn't been. Two examples were the Biden debate June and Kennedy Nixon. I don't know. Maybe Lincoln Douglas was something back in the day. But I'm telling you the importance of these debates just aren't. They just aren't that relevant typically. Also, we went into the VA stuff. I think that story is going to kind of die and go away. But if you have to keep it up, Governor Ivy, she wants you got the W. Get Davis. The VA commissioner is resigning effectively into the year. And we'll see where that goes. But it was it was on the verge of it had they gone through with this. Had he not resigned and they would have had a board meeting today, an emergency board meeting. And I think he would have probably survived today. And then the next step would have been replacing the entire VA board. And I know regardless, Ivy still would have gotten the W. But that now that would have been an ugly, ugly process. That now would have looked just it would have it still looks this way to me of a veteran's versus politicians dispute. Because Governor Ivy was calling it a lot of favors. I got the press releases. I saw the social media. I've heard the public comments was to like the number one rule of working in state government is you don't get you don't undermine the governor. Stakes it personally. You can be incompetent. You can you can assault your neighbor. It still be maintained your your perch and one of the most powerful positions of government as the highway director. You could get away with a lot under K. Ivy, but you will not get away with undermining her authority. Ask Chris Elliott how that worked out for him. Remember the other example, the early childhood education secret area that when she said the hell of it, I want to use these wall policy manuals. Well, nope, you won't be doing that. Have a nice life. So she'll pull the trigger and get rid of you. Keep talking about this too. What would it have been like if the ethics commission hadn't been involved? I still think it wouldn't have mattered. Our buddy Todd Stacey is making it out to be an ethics commission story. I think Rob is to a certain degree. I'm Robert Lanny. I have Holbert, but if you take the ethics commission, they were still going to fight over these funds. This is this huge opioid settlement. And the governor made up her mind to go with the Alabama Department of Mental Health over the Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs. I tell you what, guys, the people in charge of the Alabama Department of Mental Health aren't exactly what I would call Tea Party conservatives. There's a lot of rainbow flags and a lot of that stuff going on in that bureaucracy. And then we haven't talked about at the point yet. There's a lot to unravel there. Two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, zero, six. And then finally, the Haitian story, we know what's going on up in Ohio. I probably think we have an idea. But still going on here in Alabama, people seem to be upset. I guess what people are a little more upset about is this. There may be a few Haitian immigrants in Talladega County up in Silacaga, but the local officials in Silacaga are totally trying to downplay this with all their might. The mayor of Silacaga outright lied to one of our reporters and it had to go back and retract it. Ericka Thomas, she here on the station sometimes. And she went to ask him, like, well, he says, well, they're here legally. These Haitians, and we need to greet them and be hospitable. And people are still upset. So she asked the question, well, how do you know that they're here legally? And this is what he told her. He said, well, I asked the congressional delegation, senators, Britain, Tuberville, and I talked to the governor. And Ericka followed up with the governor. Tuberville, Brit, I think congressional delegation and they also, we never talked to this man before. And then when confronted, he backtracked city bespoke. Well, but it's a very interesting thing to say. Like this is a checkable thing. Why are the mayor and some of the members of that city council? Playing defense for the Haitians. I mean, I don't think they necessarily need to be anti Haitians coming into their city, but there's no need to lie about it. There's no need to shut down a public meeting is one, the president of the city council shut down the city council meeting, but she just didn't want to hear from concerns, citizens about all of this. It's a very peculiar situation going on. In Silicon, we'll see if there's any more answers. What person hasn't been quiet about it? State president Ben Robbins, who was really like responding to his constituents. And maybe we could try to get him on this show to talk a little bit about what's going on up there. But I guess it's sort of emblematic of what could happen in some of the small towns in this part of the state should the Biden administration, they're trying to resettle these Haitians. Half a billion is a number that's been tossed around and a bunch of people who don't know, Ohio, but I mean, there's three places where we know Albertville and Marshall County, Athens and Limestone County, and Silicon, Talladega County, where there's some resettlement going on. And just, you know, whatever you think that's fine. But it's the federal government making it a resettlement that's going to succeed or the local population, not really thrilled with it. There's language barriers. There's a lot of things you have to consider when you bring in an alien culture to a place in Alabama. Let's get some text here. Tip Jeff Trump handles himself. Like he did with Biden debate, I think he'll do okay. He just needs to keep us cool. Mark, damn, she makes sense. Dobson for president 2028. And a textures project 2025 in the room with Shamari right now. I think it is. Toothless bammer. I think even the Dems know this race is trending to a Harris defeat. Dems may be concentrating on the house. Five seats up for grabs. Flip them. They can stop Trump. James, James, the official troll of the jet pour. Show. Alabama needs to be audited by a third party. I don't disagree with that. I assume maybe you don't want a partisan thing. The audit needs to some of these government agencies need to look at their books and what's going on. And then finally, Fred. Fred, you got to cut down on the essay here. I don't hate Trump. I don't like the way he leads. He is willing to throw anyone off to disagree with the bandwagon. He seems to follow his own sense of direction. His recent comments about the legal team in the E.G. Carroll case to find him is not very good. He blessed liberals for their support. Blind faith. They give a pass to the magma. But you're doing the same. I voted Republican more times than I do to the policies. I'm not going to say that. I'm not going to say that. I'm not going to say that.
