Baby, baby, you know that finger for beep by now, right? You know that is the intro of the theme of the song, the College for Football Function. You know the voice by now, right it is C-M-A-K-A because I'm like, AKA the host that knows the most about that college football action, AKA Mr. Stooge, AKA Mr. Perfect, AKA Mr. Still your grandma, just Mr. AKA. How are you doing? Hopefully, I'm sounding OK. I think I got something going on with me the past two days, I'd say. Not quite feeling exactly 100%. But like I said, I hope you're not like dang, see him sounds like shit. I'm here. I'm here to recap, of course, week two, give you the review show for the second week of the season. It's kind of crazy. We're technically on the third week of the season, I just did quotations for that because week zero counts, you know, only a handful of games, but you know it is what it is, you know, two buys, 12 games, so 14 weeks. And next thing you know, it's December and it's conference championship and it's going to be 12 teams, get that lucky golden ticket to playing this inaugural 12 team play often. This is crazy. It's hard to predict. If you bet on college football, I bow to you, you know, even if I was, you know, a millionaire, I probably wouldn't bet on college football. Don't get me wrong, I have my moments when I'm like, OK, I just guarantee this is going to be so-and-so's going to cover the spread or this is going to be an over or I just get those gut feeling sometimes about upsets too as well. So I'm not saying I wouldn't bet, but there's a lot of people out there that they would take a handful of games and parlay it and you know, you try to win all 10. You know, you pick 10 random games, you know, I think I gave you guys one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven. So let's say, you know, you picked five or six out of these eleven and you picked, you know, the winner, the spread, over under, you got a couple of them right. You know, you could end up with a lot of money, don't get me wrong, but college football's so hard. You have pre-season polls, no pre-season in general, all you have is, you know, a scrimmage that you would play your own team, you know, the Texas Longhorns wouldn't go to University Park and scrimmage the Penn State Many Lions in, you know, the middle of August, you know, unlike, you know, NFL, where they have these pre-season games and, you know, so and so travels across country and they have like a scrimmage and then they end up playing that team in the pre-season game. Does it hurt the college game that there's not a pre-season? I wouldn't mind a pre-season, just one though. I think three pre-season games for, for NFL is too much, hell it used to be four. I think one or two pre-season games, you get your shit figured out, just because by the time the third pre-season game comes along for the pros, nobody's playing, you know, it's, you know, it's a tryout at that time, if they're getting the third and fourth stringers, trying to see if, you know, they're going to stay on the squad and all the starters don't play and then as I'm watching, you know, as I'm recording with you guys right now, I'm watching this Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys game, I'm going to try to start doing that, you know, try to get my schedule down and I'll try to get this review show to you guys on Monday, so I'll be recording the day before, but a lot of errors, you know, you see a lot of penalties the first week or two of, you know, college and then usually the first week of NFL. I don't see the, there's no excuse for me, for the NFL to have so many penalties and problems and turnovers and, you know, things like that, because they just had three pre-season games, what's the pre-season games for, but, you know, I think it's for, you know, lining those packets of those very rich people that own, you know, these franchises, but that's just me. I'm not hating on the NFL, I know the NFL is, you know, the sport played perfectly. I'm saying that loosely, of course, but I just think it's more, the college game is more genuine, it's more vast, you know, rather than, you know, NFL, you get, you know, 16 games a week, you know, between Thursday, Sunday and Monday, and then when the buy start happening you get smaller and smaller, and then, you know, every week in college football I can give you 10 good games, at least, you know, every single week, but there's weeks where I want to give you a whole lot more. But like I said before with that week 2 preview show, I don't want to, this iHeartRadio station is brought to you by vitamin water. Did you know that most vitamin D3 supplements come from sheepswell? I'm Kat, founder of Ritual. We're making traceability the new standard for the supplement industry. When I was pregnant, I couldn't find a multivitamin I could trust, so it created my own. Ours is matraceable, third-party tested, and clean label projects certified. Oh, Hannah, vitamin D3, it comes from sustainably harvested lichen from England, not sheep. Trace for yourself with 25% off at ritual.com/podcast. Put too much on your plate at certain times, like there's sometimes there's going to be four or two 30-kit games, and I go, "Damn, I wish I could give you all four of them, but I'm not. I'm going to pick the best two, where the best three, you know, it's going to be the same way with the prantan, the night games, and the same way with the 11s." I'm trying to just go through this huge, you know, Dallas Cowboys, you know, Jumbo-Tron list of games of college football that start, you know, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and give you all the best ones, and maybe a little insight, things I'm looking at when I'm watching these games. You know, maybe even give you, "Hey, I think, you know, I'll say, 'Hey, Iowa State, it has not been really very good against Iowa past 10 years, I think they've only been on twice." Or, you know, give you guys just little hints and insights and things to look for, and, you know, of course, players to look for as well, so I hope that all just kind of comes together, and that all makes sense more as the season goes along, but there's going to be upsets. I mean, this weekend was no exception. Let's go through these week two previews, shall we? We started off with Arkansas, the Razorbacks out of the SEC, taking a trip up to Stillwater to play the Oklahoma State Cowboys of the Big 12, and so came on at 11 o'clock on ABC. Oklahoma State eeks out a 8.1, 39 to 31, took two over times, but the Cowboys get it done. I think I learned more about Arkansas than I learned about Oklahoma State. I think Oklahoma State's one of those teams that they're still going to win eight or nine games this year regardless of, you know, of course, you know, in stance if they don't suffer, you know, major injuries or Mike Gundy does something stupid or, you know, so on and so forth. If they just do everything that they usually do and do it right, they should win eight or nine, maybe even ten games. I learned a lot more about Arkansas. They came into Stillwater and punched the ranked, you know, a big boy in the Big 12 right in the mouth, and didn't talk about Arkansas, you know, during the off season. I kind of, you know, kind of mad about it, to be honest, I didn't think much of them. Their coke show is probably going to get fired at the end of the year if he doesn't have a good year. KJ Jefferson, you know, of the UCF Knights now came from Arkansas, so usually you lose a great player like that. Sometimes you don't have that great of a year the next year, but watch F.R. Arkansas if you're in the SEC and if you play the Razorbacks, and you know, next couple of weeks or in the next eight weeks, you know, whatever, that's a good team and then the Oklahoma State Cowboys, they take, sometimes it takes those games just to kind of go, you know, we can win a close game. You know, yeah, we didn't blow anybody out, you're not going to boil out everybody. I mean, you don't get cut peaks every single week. Some teams, they're two and oh, because they've played Joe Blow State in Northeastern State Western Tech, you know, that's what it is, and I don't judge those teams any less because you play who's on your schedule. But I like games like this, you know, SEC versus Big 12, I like Big 10 versus SEC, you know, even a Sunbell versus AAC, you know, stuff like that, it just keeps the game fun, but a good win for Oklahoma State, like I said, 39-31. It took double overtime, but a good win, regardless, Oklahoma State was favored by seven and a half, technically the one by eight, but usually when things go into overtime, I'm not real sure some casinos will let you get your money if, you know, you took the, you know, if you took Oklahoma State and ate the points because Oklahoma State won by eight. Sometimes they'll let you do it, sometimes they won't. You're under on this one with 62 and a half, of course, that's another thing. If it goes over, and you took the over, of course it's going to go over because you had two over times, you know what I'm saying, so tell it as you may, and it'll be in an over, of course. This is another 11 AM kickoff on Fox, the game of the day for sure. This was the Texas Longhorns coming in. You don't top five ranked, I do believe they come in this game at three, going to the tenth ranked Michigan Wolverines, and I predicted it, of course, you know, I did Michigan schedule and the Texas Longhorns schedule in the off season, and of course I picked Texas to go up there and win. I didn't see it going quite like this, 31 to 12 was the final score. One team just looked the part, and the other one just quite didn't, been saying it all summer that I felt the Michigan Wolverines were going to take a step back, you know. It's very hard to repeat in college football, and you're probably saying, "CM, Georgia just did it." I know, but those teams, that doesn't happen very often, let's just say that, and Michigan lost so much, I want to say they lost 17 or 18 of their starters from last year, even Georgia couldn't replace that, you know, what they always say about, you know, prestigious schools like Ohio State's and the Georges's, and, you know, the Clemson's and Texas's of the world. They don't rebuild, they reload, and even that is hard to reload. And just like I said, they're new coach, a lot of replacements, a lot of expectations on the Michigan Wolverines, and it just kind of let them down. My Texas came in there and punched the Michigan Wolverines right in the face, ran the ball better than them, threw it a ball better than them, played tough, you know, stout defense. Everything that Michigan did well last year, Texas mirrored this year. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I hate saying it, but Texas is one of the best teams in the country. They just showed it to me right there, that is a prime, you know, top ten, two top ten teams playing in a hostile environment as well. Everybody knows the big house has the most home wins in all of college football, the reigning defending national champs, and these boys from Texas just walked in there. And to be honest, put a whooping on them. I don't think this game was ever close, besides when the kickoff happened, Texas did exactly what they're supposed to do. And when I said that Texas can compete in the SEC, you know, year one, day one, back in the summer, it might have been a lot of people that kind of scoffed at me, and a lot of people probably not hit their head. If you saw that game, you know why, Quinn, you're one of the best players in the country period. He's got a nice little complimentary, complimentary, complimentary players, and they just get it done. The defense is a lot better, definitely a problem with Texas Longhorns in the past. Course had great offenses, but their defense, they had to outscore. You know, they just kept having to, they had to score 50 or 49 every game to win, and they have a defense now, and Sarkeesian's got those boys coming. So if you got the Texas Longhorns in the next couple of weeks, it might be curtains for you, but let's see here, yeah, Texas is favored by seven and a half, of course, they easily covered, because they win 31 to 12, over on this one, 43 and a half, and ended up being exactly 43. So if you took the under, congratulations, you want it by a point that is just outstanding how they come up with these spreads, and sometimes it's a little off, but there's a lot of times and there's these happen just like that. I stay away from hooks for a reason, just because of that, I would have took the over, and ended up, and I lose by half a point, which would suck, all right, moving on. This is another 11 a.m. kick though, but this one was on ESPN. This was the Kansas State Wildcats, they come in the 18th ranked team in the country, going down to New Orleans to play the two lane green way. I did say that this was my upset special of the week, I predicted it back in the summer when I did two lane schedule, I'm sorry, and of course, Kansas State schedule, I just felt like two lane is just enough of a big boy to upset a better team, and a damn near should have. A damn near could have won play in that game when I changed this whole game. I think it was like a strip sack or something, and you know, it was a, you know, scoop and score, and ended up being the game winning points for the Kansas State Wildcats out of the big 12 to beat the two lane green wave at a AC 34 to 27. You know, I did say I expected two lane to hang in there, and they did. This iHeart radio station is brought to you by Vitamin Water. What does innovation sound like? Innovators everywhere are able to do their thing better, whatever that thing is. Now who doesn't like the sound of that? Highland, for innovators everywhere, visit hiland.com. Kansas State was favored by nine and a half, so if you listen to me and you believed me and said, you know what, I'm gonna take two lane in the points, guess what? You want some money, so it's not very often I'm going to do that to come up with something like that, but I just had a feeling this was not gonna be a blow up. Two lane was going to hang in there, great home filled advantage, muggy hot conditions down there, and Kansas is not really a, some Midwestern, you know, climate, so it's really not the hottest environment up there, and it's kind of figured a lot of cramps, you're definitely gonna be deep, and two lane just, like I said, they're just enough of a big boy to, you know, upset you, but good win for K-State, a lot like the Oklahoma State game, a formidable opponent tested you, and you're gonna get games like that every week in college football. Sometimes you're gonna win by 50, sometimes you'll win by one, you know, that's just what it is in college football. All right, move on. This is the 230 kick on CBS, this was the Iowa State Hawkeyes, Cyclones, sorry, giving them a big step a little bit, going to the 25th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes for the battle for the Psyhawk trophy. I watched this game, I was flipping all over the place, of course I had the two TVs running, and you know, I was flipping over, especially after the first quarter and got to see the Kinek Wave, one of the best-class football, you know, traditions, after the first quarter hit zero, everybody turns and waves to the Children's Hospital that is overseeing Kinek Stadium, and you know, for about five minutes they wave at those poor kids that are fighting cancer, and just let them know, hey, we're here, you know, it's, it's bigger than football moment, and it's, it's amazing. So if you're ever catching an Iowa game, where regardless of what channel, you're watching it, just at least watch the first quarter, and right after the Kinek Wave, hell, you can change the channel for all that care, but I think everybody should experience that at least one time in their life. But like I said before in the preview show, we get a rivalry game week two, love the conference realignments, and you're going to get this a lot, do you believe Oregon, Oregon State played next week? Of course you have here in a couple of weeks, you got the Red River rivalry, there's going to be rivalry games every single week that almost seems like not just that last week of the season, but this is a great game, and it exactly played out exactly like I expected it to, but the underdog gets to win 20 to 19, back and forth, great defense, punting, you know, fill goals, Iowa State kicks one at the end of the game, I'm going to set to win 20 to 19 over the rival, good win for the big 12, Iowa does not cover, they were two and a half point favorites, over under on this one, like I said was 35 and a half, remember it's not very many points, but ends up being over with, you know, 39 points score, but this is a great game, I love a good rivalry game, I love a good trophy game, two teams that just absolutely do not like each other, I wouldn't say hate, you know, those hates are up there with, you know, the Texas and Oklahoma's and Army Navy's and the Ohio State's and Michigan's they hate each other, but there was a couple times in that game, it got a little testy, you know, and I think hopefully you guys watch that game and enjoyed yourself, great game, good upset win for Iowa State, another 230 kick, this one was on Fox though, this was the Baylor Bears going to the Rice Eggle Stadium by the 11th ranked Utah Utes, this one was a head scratching game because I was flipping over between a couple of games and watching it and from the start Utah started playing great and I went okay Baylor's not very good and then the thing that happened that has been happening with the Utah Utes for the last couple years, the quarterback goes down and all of a sudden Utah kind of, they go in neutral, you know, instead of being in third or fourth gear, they kind of calm it back down and they have a, I think a red shirt freshman, I'm not even sure, but a young kid as their second stringer, if Utah wants to contend in the Big 12 I need to see something better than what I saw out of these Utah Utes and they won 23 to 12, they came out real fast, Baylor looked like shit, I think Utah slapped, you know, 14 on them real early and they just looked really good and they just could not sustain it and then like I said when Ken goes down, they just kind of sputtered, like I said, 23 to 12, still get the win, Utah does not cover though, they were 14 and a half point favorites and the over-under on this one was 53 and a half, so it ends up being in and under and this was weird, they didn't count this as a conference game, I heard the commentators say that, I said yes, these are two conference teams but this isn't a conference game and I went, what the actual fuck, like that doesn't happen ever, I'm guessing because you know, they said that these two teams should have played last year or two years ago or something and then I don't know, that little stupid, so it's just technically not a conference game, you know, for both of these schools, so I learned a lot more about Baylor and I learned about Utah and Utah's, you know, not as scary to me, but of course, some of these weeks, like I said Oregon didn't scare me last week, a lot of teams don't scare you in one week, but man, Michael Mars can come out at any given time with some of these teams any week, all right, moving on, three o'clock kick, this one was on ESPNU, this was just that one random game that I see that, you know, maybe you didn't launch, maybe you did, but I like to, you know, it's not just about the big 10 and SEC and big 12, I want to throw some little guys out there, this was UTSA, the roadrunners out of the AAC, going down to play Texas State, the Bobcats out of the Sunbelt, this was a blowout, Texas State beat the brakes off UTSA, beat them 49 to 10, I thought this was going to be a rivalry game, the spread was one, you know, Texas State was favored by one and a half, figured it'd be 21, 24 type game, no, Texas State beat the brakes off this UTSA team, 49 to 10, like I said, over and around this 64 and a half, that was another reason why I wanted this game to, figured it'd be high scoring, but it was, but just for one side, good game, you know, like I said, I thought this was more of a rivalry game, I was leaning a little more towards UTSA, but Texas State showing me a little something, if you're a Sunbelt team, good luck, you know, if you get Texas State on your schedule, I think it's JMU, I predicted to win the Sunbelt this year, so if you play Texas State this year, I'd miss our poll, just be very wary, there's going to be teams that come out of the woodwork and always coming out of the closet, so to speak, and, you know, let's go, hey, damn, that team's not bad, all right, moving on, good game, good win for Texas State, all right, 630 kick on ABC, this is one of the second, you know, ranked on ranked games of the day, this was the 15th ranked Tennessee volunteers going to play the NC State Wolf back to 2014 in the country, this actually ended up being a neutral site game, I did not know that, they were playing in my Carolina Panthers stadium, Bank of America Stadium and Charlotte, and technically a home game for NC State, but it does not matter, because this was SEC versus ACC, and usually those matchups go one way, and it's usually by way of the SEC, and this one does not change, Tennessee wins 51 to 10, whoof, I am on Olivia, I think that's how you say his name, I don't have the paper in front of me, Nico, I am on Olivia, is good, I was slipping over from this game and a couple of other games, and whoof, that Tennessee team, I was, I'm glad I did them, I predicted their schedule, and I told you, yeah, yeah, your Georgians, yeah, your Bamas, yeah, your Texas is, I threw your wild card out there, and I said, watch out for the Tennessee volunteers, because they have a defense, they're Nico, I'm on Olivia, it's a great quarterback, great players, Josh Hypel, you know, leads the guys, and this is a good team, and they get them at home, schedule works out good for them, this is a scary team, and the Tennessee volunteers for sure, I learned more about Tennessee for sure, and I learned what I don't know about NC State, of course I talked about them, I said, if it's not going to be a couple of these teams, look out for NC State, look out for Louisville, but that kind of a loss, that hurts, I mean, that's going to drop you out of the rankings, that's going to hurt, you know, like I said, maybe will you learn from it, sure, could you get better, absolutely, but it hurts more than it helps for sure, Tennessee was favored by 7.5, yeah, they easily covered that, over on this one was 60.5, so it ends up being over, not by much though, alright, another game, 630, this one was on NBC, this was the Colorado buffaloes, taking a trip to Cornhusker Land to Lincoln Memorial to play the Nebraska Cornhuskers, this one went exactly as I planned, quite the score I wanted, I wanted Nebraska to win 63, 70 to 0, it's no hiding anymore, I just cannot stand Colorado, I couldn't stand them last year, I remember I talked shit about them at the start of the year, last year, kind of made me eat my own words for a little while, and then I started seeing these trends that bad teams seem to have as quote unquote, red flags, things that you just go, oh, I'm going to stay away from this team, I do not like Prime, I like Dion Sanders, I do not like Prime, I'm tired of all these commercials, if you watch football, like I watch football, it seems like he's on every time you get a myriad of commercials, it's annoying, Schader is good, I just don't think he's great, made way too many mistakes against Nebraska, this is an Nebraska team that has been, they're going into their second year of a rebuild, this is Dion's second year and this is Matt Rose second year, and one team looks scary and one team looks scared, this was just a complete, I don't know what, I don't know if it was a fluke, that Nebraska played so good and Colorado played so bad, and I say, you know, I say bad, but 28 to 10, you probably say, see him if you didn't watch this, by the way, this 28 to 10, it feels a lot closer than what I watched, you know, sugar through a pick six, looked uncomfortable all night, running for his life, offensive line, could not block, you know, jacked idly shit, Travis Hunter can't do it all, and I've said that before, I said, great players, two potential top ten draft picks, you know, in April, but, this iHeartRadio station is brought to you by vitamin water, with the Luckyland sluts, you can G.R. at Boyd were prohibited by law, 18 plus terms and conditions apply. Who else is going to hold up that mantle? It's not a, you know, two person show, you know, you have 11 guys on each side of the ball, you know, any given moment, and it's, if it's just two guys that you're depending on, good luck, and this, exactly, this worked exactly like I hoped it did. I just wish Nebraska would have, you know, heard him a little harder, but Nebraska was favored by seven and a half, so they cover over under on this one was 57 and a half and ended up being an under. Watch the post game as well, shoulder is a deflector. I do not like that about him, he's got that Caleb Williams in him, it's a me, me, me, type mentality and I do not like that, you know, they asked him something and he said, well, how many times did Nebraska's quarterback get sacked? It's like, dude, you know, there's right ways to do things and wrong ways to do things, right ways to say things and wrong ways to say things, and it seems like him and his dad and his brother are always coming up with the wrong things. They eat out of it, they should have fucking lost week one or week zero. I'm sorry, North Dakota State got ripped off. I'm sorry they did Mr. Targeting called North Dakota State was going to go down the score and win, period. I say, I don't believe me, believe me if you won't, but this is one thing I'm going to say and I'm going to, that meme, it's like, what do you stand for and that's going to be, you know, people are going to go, damn, what's wrong with that guy? I'm going to die on the hill that Colorado's just not good. I'm tired of the height, tired of all the bullshit, tired of the commercials, so tired of so many things. Now I'm moving on, I'm talking about them enough, but good win for Nebraska should put them in the top 25 this coming up week. Matt Roll looks good. I mean, I hate to say it, man, that Nebraska team looks good, they're a quarterback's good, I think he's like a freshman too, defense was flying around. You know, that big 10 just looks even stronger, you know, with a win like that from Nebraska. Everybody knows the Ohio State's and Michigan's and Oregon's and USC's, Penn State, of course. You got to throw Nebraska in there. Maybe they get upset over somebody that they're not supposed to be here in the next couple weeks. You know, they play like that every single week, that's an eight or nine win team right there, those Nebraska court Oscars. I'm moving on nine o'clock kick, this was on Peacock or this game made me so mad. Boise State Broncos go to the third ranked team in the country, the Oregon Ducks and the Otsun Zoo, eek out of win 37 to 34, may the Oregon guy scoring the touchdown, he drops the ball, before he freaking drops, before he crosses the plane. I mean, that is referee 101. I mean, how do you, had they not see that? That was ended up being the game winning touchdown. I hate that when games, the refs don't do their freaking job, man. I hate how those end, when it should have been the other way, you know, I put this game on here for a reason, I figured Boise State could go up there and hang, Oregon didn't show me much playing against the Vandals by the whole last week, Boise State's a better team, and they got a running back Ashton Jean T. Dude can run the ball, keep Oregon's high flying offense on the sideline, and that's exactly what they fucking did. And just for the refs to cost Boise State that win just hurts me for the Boise State Broncos if you're a Boise State fan, I apologize for you, but you'll get an apology very, very soon from these refs and from the NCAA. And as I speak, by the way, I'm looking at my TV, and of course, D on Sanders is on TV with her fucking KFC, oh, and should I, oh, fuck him. Anyway, moving on, yeah, as you can tell, I am hot. I hate when games in like this, that shouldn't have ended like this. Oregon is not impressing me. This is a team that is supposed to be, they're supposed to win, they're predicted to beat Ohio State in the Big Ten championship. It's either Oregon or Ohio State, people were picking. Dylan Gabriel, all these pieces, you know, Dan Laney, I mean, so many good things going for Oregon, and like I said, they still ain't showing me shit. They may be two and oh, but this is a suspect top ten team, and I'm seeing it right now. Oregon was favored by 19 and a half. That shows you right there. Of course, they do not cover, they barely win 37, 34, over on this one was 61 and a half, so it ends up being an over. I hope you watch that, if you don't know what I'm talking about, go and look it up. It's just so unfortunate, I just kind of wish college refs had kind of that power that the NFL refs sometimes do, where they can just go hey, we can look at that real quick, or we can say, we got to do something. This has got to get fixed, it's just too many instances of teams winning again that they're not supposed to win. It makes me so freaking mad. All right, moving on, sorry, phone call, sometimes if you're ever here, sometimes it kind of cuts out a little bit, that's because I had to pause it, you know, there's sometimes there's phone calls that I have to answer, so we're talking about Oregon, so I feel sorry for Boise State, yet again, I still think that's a scary team. I think it's a team that if that's their only loss of the year, I think at the end of the year, they could be talked about as making the college football playoff, and then Oregon, they're going to have a tough schedule if they can't pull their head out of their ass and play better football. I do believe they got Oregon State next week. I hope so. I do believe so. I could be wrong. I haven't really checked into week three yet, but ought to be very interesting for Oregon going forward. It should be a true litmus test, a true mirror moment, look in the mirror and say, which ducks are you? You know, are you the ducks that get fed in the, in the, around the water? Are you the mighty ducks? I mean, which one are you? So moving on. This is not an out-of-the-clock kick, this one was all fox. This was my Texas Tech Red Raiders going up to Pullman to play the Wazoo, the Cougars of Washington State Cougars, and my Texas Tech Red Raiders get completely embarrassed 37 to 16, Wazoo was the ready team, Wazoo was the better team, kind of sucks. We debuted our cool, you know, all white, our icy white, you know, new Adidas uniforms looked great. But that was about the only good thing that we did all game was we looked cool. I know I did not drink the Kool-Aid, you know, in my town. Like I've said before, I can go out to my backyard and I can kind of see the stadium for my mat. I am about a half mile, three-quarters of a mile from Jones AT&T Stadium, so I am as close to the streets as you possibly can get. I did not drink the Kool-Aid this year, they protected them to go 8-4, maybe 9-3. But this is not the team I was expecting. A lot of returning starters went into the transfer portal, got some really good guys, loved the pre-season stuff, the raw, raw, the hype, but I didn't quite believe it. So because me being a Tech fan, I'm just used to being hurt, you know, I'm used to being let down, I don't get my expectations up so high to where when we don't perform, I don't want to jump off a fucking cliff. You know, there's a lot of people out there that they don't know exactly what the hell I'm talking about because you're a fan of let's say the Texas Longhorns or the Ohio State Buckeyes. You know, you still got conference championships, you still got natties, mind team don't. And every time we think we're going to have a good year, you know, like Alpha Alpha says in Little Rascals, God parts the clouds and says screw you because I'm like, you know, but it is what it is. Good win for Wazoo, like I said before, I said this, I don't know when, but Oregon State and Washington State are going to play completely mad, completely angry this year. They're trying to get an invite, they're trying to say, hey, come and join us in the Pac-12 next year, and they're going to get every team shot, their best shot, I should say. I'm sorry. And good win for Wazoo, bad loss for Tech, it just makes me worried, you know, going forward, Wazoo was favored by one and a half, so of course they cover over and under on this one, a 65 and a half. Should also make for Washington, Washington State, that rivalry game should make a very interesting game in coming up. I hope they still play, I hope they play this year, I don't know why it could be interesting. All right, moving on, this was the last game you guys, I told you guys to watch. This was at 9.30 on ESPN, this was the Mississippi State Bulldogs going to Tempe, I think it's Tempe, to play the Arizona State Sun Devils, SEC versus Big 12, Arizona State was favored by six and a half, and Arizona State wins 30 to 23, very unsuspecting 2 and 0 Arizona State team, and have beaten a couple of decent teams, and maybe Mississippi State's not very good, I don't know that, maybe Arizona State's just kind of cashing in their chips early, hell you never know that too, I see it all the time, team just kind of come out of the closet, man, it just completely shocked you, this is a game, and I thought could potentially be a good game, it looks like it was, 30 to 23, sorry, the Sun Devils cover, there were six and a half point favorites over and around, this was 59 and a half, so it ends up being in under, always got some bonus gains for you guys, because like I said every week, you know, I'm going to give you a list of games that I potentially I'm going to watch, or you should watch, or throwing, you know, a couple of random games in there, things that just maybe at the end of the year, have some sort of, you know, action, or, you know, some sort of something to do at the end of the year, conference season, or the playoff, you know, so and so forth, so Georgia Tech entered the top 25, as you remember, they upset Florida State, week zero, came in as the 2013, 23rd ranked team in the country, Georgia Tech, Yellow Jackets, and they went to Syracuse to play the Orange Men and just as high as you rise, you can fall, the Orange Men upset, the 23 ranked Georgia Tech, Yellow Jackets 31, 228, College Football is crazy man, like I said, it's hard to imagine that Georgia Tech and Syracuse, I'm talking about them right now, because one of them knocked off, you know, Florida State, early in the year, it's just crazy, like I said, good win for Syracuse, you know, good win for, I think they're in the ACC, so good win for them, you know, like I said, a very good win, good, good, good. Moving on, the Cal Bears go to Auburn, Jordan Harry, very, very hard place to play, and they beat the SEC, Auburn Tigers, 21-14, the Cal Bears, definitely wouldn't, definitely didn't see that coming, I don't like to say it out loud, but I might say it in my breath, the California team, sometimes they're a little soft, I mean, yeah, of course USC proved me wrong, last week when they beat LSU, they're a great team, but they're usually always are, but the other ones, eh, not so much, and Auburn just, that's a decent team, usually every year, I mean, that's a 7-1 team, that's an 8-1 team, and that's also a team with a hard, you know, home-filled advantage, you know, that's a hard place to go into and win, so good win for the Cal Bears, man, beating the Auburn Tigers, I didn't believe Cal since they are in the ACC, so that's a great, you know, conference win for the ACC against the SEC. Moving on, this was the upset of the day, of course, the Northern Illinois University Huskies go into Notre Dame, the fifth ranked team in the country, and upset the fighting Irish, 16-14, flipping, I didn't have this on my, you know, preview show, this was a game that you look at and go shit, Notre Dame's favored by, probably, I'm almost positive they were favored by like 28 points, you look at that kind of game and go pfft, Notre Dame, you know, one handily against Texas A&M last week, they should handle a team like NIU, these are the games why I like college football, these are the games why I tell you, college football is so hard to predict, it's so hard to gather up all this information that I have had over my entire life and not even. Been close to saying, Northern Illinois is going to upset a top 5 Notre Dame team at any given time in my show. That just shows you how crazy college football is and that any given Saturday, Thursday, hell. Sunday, a big boy can lose. It happens and this proves it right here. I don't care what that number is next to your fucking name. I don't care about pre-season polls. Earlier in the year, you can lose. You can lose later in the year. But this is so Notre Dame period. This is exactly what Notre Dame does. Get this hype, come out and play a great, great game here and there. And then have your head scratcher and go, maybe Notre Dame, what we thought they was. And there you go, 16 to 14. And not only does Northern Illinois get to have this jubilation and this excitement and this win, they get to go home with a $1.4 million check just burning a hole in their pocket. Notre Dame had to pay this team $1.4 million to come into touchdown Jesus and play Notre Dame Fighting Irish and they lose to these Huskies. That's what makes college football great as well. These big time, you know, blue bloods have to pay money to the nickels and the Northern Illinois and the ACUs and the Chattanooga's. They pay money for these teams to come into their house, get their butt kicked, but there's instances like this where NIU gets paid, walks into your house, beats you and just, you know, double fucks you to be perfectly honest. Now Notre Dame's going, everybody talking about Notre Dame's going, maybe they're not that great. And then you just lost 1.4 million dollars as well. So I love this gay man. If you can't tell the way I talk, especially the past couple of weeks, how excited I am. These are games why and they interviewed the coach and he's crying and grown ass man just balling because he told his team, we can go in there. These teams aren't, you know, these aren't guides. You know, they are human too. They bleed like you do. We go in and do exactly like I say to do, I have the game plan to beat this team. And if you follow it, follow this blueprint, we will walk out of there with a dub. And his team believed and hell I'm tearing up just thinking about it. You know, I grow a man just balling because he loves his team and they did the unthinkable. Like I said, good one for NIU. They're probably going to end up ranked tonight tomorrow whenever the poll comes out. So good for them. I always love seeing a little school. Upset a big school. David. All right, last game. Houston goes to Norman to play the Oklahoma Sooners, the 15th ranked team in the country and Oklahoma stumbles. Yeah, don't know loose. You know, of course, it'd be a bigger story of Oklahoma Looses, but they went 16 to 12 over a team in Houston that hasn't looked very good at the past couple of weeks. Just very head scratching. You know, I did say Oklahoma is going to lose some games this year. Didn't look the greatest the other week either, but great players, good coach. But you don't, you're supposed to beat a team like Houston by 28. I mean, period, you're supposed to. So if you're watching that game and you got OU coming up, there's your blueprint on how to beat OU. Very interesting. I'm sure if you ask Mike, he'd probably say, I'm a little nervous, but you know, you'd go, hi, I'm still going to win eight or nine games this year. You know, you can confidently say that. Me, not so much. But that does it for me, guys. I love coming out there. Love a lot. Come in a little over 45 minutes. I did say I was going to try to do 30 minute shows, but you know me, I talk a lot. I hope you enjoyed yourself. Love that week to action. Wait three. I haven't really doubled into it, but I will get into it in the next couple of days. But I will get you week three review or week three preview show. And then hopefully we'll get this scheduling down. And by the time, you know, week four and five come along, it's just like riding a bike. I will have all this down to a T. And don't expect weeks to be just like this either. You know, some really great matchups, a lot of upsets. You're going to get one every once in a while. Are you going to get a super one? If I'm just thinking off the top of my head, do leave October 12th. And there's like four or five ranked on ranked matchups or something like that. So be wary, get ready guys. We're just getting, you know, like I said, we're just dipping the, you know, your big toe in there. We're to the kenkels and to the ankles of the pool. You know, more and more weeks go along. You're more, you're going to get accustomed to some of these teams, these coaches, these conferences. Because I told you guys about it during the summer and broke down so many schedules and scores and teams and so on and so forth. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Please get the Patreon app. I'm the one who pushes the Patreon app more than the other guys do. I know they push it a lot, but my shows are long. You know, CM likes to talk a little bit. It's the first full Sunday. It's like a holiday. Football's here. I've had this feeling going on in mine, you know, stomach the past couple of weeks because, you know, I've been on this so hardcore. You know, I love my college football. So thank you guys so much. Please promote us. Like I said, if you like us, if you think we put out interesting stuff, if we got stuff that's worth listening to, or if you just want to promote us to talk shit, say, "Hey, man, the CM do is a crazy dude. He talks shit. He's a little tired." And you don't know shit. You can do that as well. I would not mind one bit because there's no such thing as bad promotion and no such thing as bad advertisement. I love that website, but holler at me at Michael, the way it's supposed to be spelled like Michael Jordan H. 5469 at X. Holler at me there. Holler on those posts on Facebook and Instagram as well as you want. And tell me you hate me. Tell me you love me. Tell me to keep up the good word. Tell me to set the big. I really don't care either, which way. Of course, I'd rather you guys like me and promote me than hate me because nobody wants to be hated. But my cat Williams always says, I ain't nobody hating on you. You ain't doing this on some racks. So you guys take care. Be good people. Like I've said before, you never know what people are going through. Tell people you love them. Tell them who you care. I know you serve, know where you're going, know where to get there. Take care, guys. I love you guys so much. God bless. Take care. CM says, love you. God bless record. This iHeartRadio station is brought to you by Vitamin Water.
