The FAN Morning Show

Blue Jays’ Aspirations + Tiger Takeaways

On hour two of The FAN Morning Show, Ben Ennis & Brent Gunning start by discussing MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred who yesterday confirmed this will be his final term in that role. The guys delve into what his legacy is and if it will be viewed as positive. They bring Sportsnet’s own Shi Davidi into the conversation, who is down in Florida and was at Manfred’s media availability yesterday. The trio turn their attention to the Jays and discuss Alek Manoah & if that fifth starter role is automatically his. They also look at the Jays offseason and if there is anything they could add at this point, playing off of GM Ross Atkins’ comments yesterday. Next, B&B take some time to talk about Tiger Woods, who played his first round of 2024 yesterday (33:44). They discuss what, if anything we can take away from Tiger’s play and what needs to happen to see him win a tournament again. The hour ends with the daily Wake and Rake!
