Grapeside services for Kenneth Ray Sawyer's are today at 2 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens, a visitation 1 to 145. Charles Fields Joyce, 77 of Eden, died Monday. Funeral services are Friday at 1 in Tumet and Military Honors at Overlook Cemetery Mausoleum. Military Honors by the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard. He was born in Rockingham County, received a business degree from Rockingham Community College, served in the U.S. Navy, stationed on the USS Independence. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #136AF and AM, a retired firefighter and worked for the City of Eden. He also worked part-time for Napa Auto Parts. He owned and operated Carlton Joyce Records Service until retirement. Surviving our daughter Mitzi J. Purdy and Greg, brother Jimmy Joyce and Cindy, and sister Robin Joyce Helms all of Eden. The family of Charles Aaron Cardwell will receive friends tomorrow, starting at 1130 at Pine Hall Baptist Church, with a celebration of life at 12, internment in the church cemetery. The family of William, Jr. Leak will receive friends Saturday at 1230 at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, with a celebration of life at 1, internment at Hairston's Family Cemetery. Public viewing for Shirley Ann Ziegler is Saturday 2 to 730 in Madison. The family will receive friends Sunday at 1 30 with Homecoming Celebration at 2, internment at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
