Obituaries for Tuesday, September 10, three announcements from Perry Spencer Funeral Homes. Arrangements for William Leak Jr., 70 of Eden are incomplete in Eden. Charles Aaron Cardwell, 72 of Winston-Salem, died September 8. The family will receive friends Thursday at 1130 at Pine Hall Baptist Church, with services at 12, interned in the church cemetery. Shirley N. Finney Ziegler, 71 of Walnut Cove, died September 6. Public viewing is Saturday, 2-730 in Madison. The family will receive friends Sunday at 130, with services at 2, interned at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Two announcements from Fair Funeral Home. Kenneth Ray Sawyer, 77, died September 8. Graveside services are tomorrow at 2 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens, visitation from 1 to 145. He attended Moorhead High School until enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Denang, Vietnam. After returning to Rockingham County, he suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was hit by a drunk driver. Surviving our daughter, Michelle Sawyer's Rum Leap and Brandon, daughter Mary Sawyer's Houston and Ron, son Christopher M. Tudor, and sister's Karen Sawyer's Ward and special friend Preston Price of Eden, Myra Sawyer's Tudor and Bob of Reedswell and Linda Eisner of Pennsylvania and brother Roy A. Sawyer's III and Robin of Eden, also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Alexandra Laverne-McGhee, 32 of Eden, died September 3. Mental services will be announced later. [BLANK_AUDIO]
