Welcome to September 10th on the National Day Calendar. Today we're sharing our best ideas and taking an nostalgic trip back to convenience dining. When great ideas flow freely between people, they spark innovation in creativity. That's the magic of exchanging concepts and brainstorming together. Whether it's in a business meeting, a casual conversation with friends, or even an online forum, swapping ideas can lead to amazing breakthroughs and new perspectives. So take some time today to engage in meaningful dialogue, share your thoughts, and be open to new ones, because today is a national swap ideas day. Do you have any great ideas to swap with me? Yes, are you ready? I'm ready. I think we should go on vacation. Right? That's an amazing idea and we should leave today and you should pay for it. Oh, it just gets better, right? It just keeps getting better. Yeah, we can go down and I'll let you supersize it at the local fast food joint. What? I said vacation, not eat. That is a vacation in my eyes. And now let's turn back the clock to the 1950s. A time when convenience meant more time for family and leisure. The TV dinner, introduced by Swanson in 1953, revolutionized the way families died. With a complete meal neatly packaged in a tray, it was designed to be eaten in front of the television, a novelty at the time. These ready to eat meals provided a quick solution for busy households and became a staple in American culture. So why not pop a TV dinner into the microwave tonight and enjoy a blast from the past. You guessed it, Latoya. It's National TV dinner day. Ding, ding, ding. When's the last time you ate a TV dinner? It has been a long time. Like how long? A long time. Since I was in my early 20s, you know, over the campfire. Oh, I mean the microwave. I knew you were going to go there. I was just going to say that was a long, long, long, long, long time ago. Okay, okay. I'm Latoya Johnson. I'm Marlo Anderson. Thank you for joining us on our journey to celebrate every day. Until next time, keep celebrating. Now let's say who's celebrating as we check on the birthday club. Yes, I've got the names for September 10th. Happy birthday to Brian Dodson, Gina Rentalman, Heidi Nykamp at The Ridge, and Libby Reed in May at End. All right, all for today. And again, that's Brian Dodson, Libby Reed, Gina Rentalman, and Heidi Nykamp. Until we know about, let me know who's celebrating for the rest of the month. That would be the 11th through 30th. And I'm taking October birthdays too. Text them to me at 336-932-1881. Get in on the birthday club, our weekly giveaway on Friday. Now some big name birthdays, Guy Ritchie, 56, Ian Gunther, 25, Joe Perry, 74, Jose Feliciano, 79, Bill O'Reilly, 75. In our music spotlight, we remember Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry. He died in a helicopter crash on the way to a concert, seven years ago this week. He was 50. There's a four-sale sign on the figgle, rusty tractor. Became missing. It's the first thing that you see. Just up the road, a pale blue water tower. I love Ginny painted in bright green. It's mine, the field there by the courthouse. You'll be lower and the flight when the sun goes down. And this is my take. Yeah, this is my take. Yeah, I was born, I was raised, I keep all my yesterday's. I ran off 'cause I got mad and it came to blow from my old man. I came back, I settled down, it's where they'll put me in the ground. This is my take. Yeah, this is my take. My take. There ain't much going on there since they closed the mill. There was a still closed every day, I didn't. A bunch of us still go down to the diner. I wonder if that interstate's still coming through. I come Sunday morning service at the church of Christ. There ain't anything seem to be found under my door. Yeah, this is my take. Well, I was born, I was raised, I keep all my yesterday's. I ran off 'cause I got mad and it came to blow from my old man. I came back, I settled down, it's where they'll put me in the ground. This is my take. Yeah, this is my take. My take. My take. My fault painted a fat rusty tractor. The game is, it's sitting right there in our yard. The county came and took at Water Tower. And it's getting with a baby in the car. I were off Sunday service at the church of Christ. And if we want to see, we better leave right now. And maybe later, me and old team will show you right. Our take. Yeah, this is my take. Yeah, I was born, I was raised, I keep all my yesterday's. I ran off 'cause I got mad and it came to blow from my old man. I came back, I settled down, it's where they'll put me in the ground. This is my take. My take, are you? This is my take. That's Montgomery Gentry in our music spotlight today. And I'll have special music for 9/11 on Wednesday. And a quick reminder too about Rocco live tomorrow. And a phone in tomorrow with your comments on any subject. A program is sponsored by Sandy Cross General Merchandise. Now today's motivational moment, thanks to Livingstone Wealth Management, Raymond James in Madison. Today, you could be standing next to someone who might be doing their best not to fall apart. So whatever you do today, do it with kindness in your heart. Thank you friends for listening. Have a wonderful Tuesday. Be sure to count your blessings today. [BLANK_AUDIO]
