The FAN Morning Show

Rielly’s Punishment + Hockey Universe Reaction

Hosts Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning kick off the final hour of today’s FAN Morning Show with some quick Super Bowl thoughts, before bringing on hockey insider Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff. After giving some of his thoughts on the big game last night, especially as an Eagles fan, Frank weighs in on what we saw Saturday night at the end of the Leafs-Senators game. The trio discuss how the league will look at Morgan Rielly's late hit, the possible supplementary discipline that’s to come and the reaction from around the hockey universe. Next the morning duo head back down to Vegas with Sportsnet’s own Arash Madani, who was inside Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII. He talks about the feeling in the building during the game, Patrick Mahomes’ performance, and where it leaves his legacy at just 28 years old (30:30).
