Let's talk about last night's presidential debate. ♪ Yeah, you better ♪ ♪ Yeah, you better ♪ Guys, before we get into today's video, please like and subscribe. I, like many of you, watched the presidential debate last night. And by watched, I mean, suffered through, I think many of us suffered through that. And I have some thoughts. I wrote some notes. Forgive me if I have to reference them in this lengthy rant about what I saw. There were many shocking things going on last night from convalesce performance to Donald Trump's performance to the cards completely being staffed against Donald Trump, which is really the first thing I want to talk about. It was shocking to witness the lack of journalistic integrity from ABC and from specifically David Muir and Lindsey Davis. Our supposed moderators for last night's debate. The fact that those two individuals can refer to themselves as journalists is utterly astounding to me. Given the amount of bias that they injected into last night's debate, it was so very clear that they were attacking Donald Trump at every possible time that they got the opportunity. They were fact checking him relentlessly in comparison to Kamala Harris. They were throwing him hardball questions in comparison to the softball questions they were throwing Kamala. They had a tangible attitude towards Donald Trump that Kamala did not receive. They gave Kamala just as much time as she wanted to answer every single question. And some of the questions that they threw towards Kamala Harris were basically attacks on Donald Trump in the forms of questions so that she could just have a layup on him and exercise every opportunity to go after him and his character. They in no way treated Donald Trump the same. It was not neutral. There was so much bias. It was really unbelievable to watch. And the whole time I was witnessing this debate, I was thinking, I hope other people are seeing what I'm seeing here. This is an attack. This is three versus one. I saw many sharing that sentiment online. I hope it just landed with the general public how much the cards were stacked against Donald Trump even if they felt like he had a lackluster performance in last night's debate, which I would generally agree with. I gotta say, I don't think Donald Trump won last night's debate and that is my humble opinion. I'd be curious to hear from those of you who disagree. And of course, there's an altitude of reasons why I feel he didn't win last night's debate. Of course, number one being the fact that ABC just put together this debate to attack him. You know, when we were first having questions about these two candidates getting on a stage and going back and forth with one another, Donald Trump said, I'm not going to do it. I don't wanna be on these platforms. I don't wanna debate Kamala Harris. I don't need to debate Kamala Harris. And I found myself at the time not understanding why he would not just hop on a stage and debate her. Now, I totally understand with the shit that ABC pulled last night's but I digress. At least I got that off my chest. Your girl was ranting on Twitter X all night about what I was witnessing. Now, let's jump into the performances we got from both candidates starting with Kamala Harris. Kamala came out so scripted, so fake. And I see right through this woman, but I could understand why many in our nation don't see through just the completely scripted, acted out character that she brought together on last night's debate stage. You can tell that she put in a lot of training for this debate. It's even speculated that she had somebody act as Donald Trump prior to this debate so that she could go back and forth on these issues. Whether or not that's actually true, I don't know, but I wouldn't put it past her and her campaign staff to pull together something like that. Now, she did a great job at not answering questions while also having really perfectly put together scripts for manipulation based on the question topics. If I had to guess, I would say that her team really primed her to share as many personal stories about herself as possible, whether or not those stories are true, to share, really pull at the heartstrings anecdotes about different people in our nation, most specifically when she was talking about women who have to go on this lonely journey to abort their children. You could tell she was pulling a typical leftist tactic, I would say, of really leaning into emotion rather than actual cold, hard facts to get something out of people, to have them have a visceral reaction to what she's saying and she pulled that off quite nicely. I also have a feeling that her team told her to be as expressive as possible as Donald Trump was talking because they knew we would get these soundbites and clips that would have whatever thing he was saying, whether it was wild out of hand or just a normal statement and we could watch her sort of bewildered expression on the other side, she was extremely expressive throughout the debate. Meanwhile, she really reeled it in on her typical nonsense cackle that she does. - You talk about extreme. - She spoke very fluently, very straightforward and she really held herself together during this debate. I'm not going to lie to you, she did a good job. Now, our definitions of good job may be different, but I prefer that somebody is actually honest, straightforward and who they actually are, which is what we typically get from Donald Trump, but she did a good job playing the politician role, really swerving away from the question that was answered, tugging at people's heartstrings, making them hate the other candidate with just relentless attacks on the candidate and making sure they painted themselves in the best light. She was really good at doing that. I am not gonna lie about that. She also baited him several times throughout the debate and he took the bait most specifically when he was talking about his rallies because she came after him on the subject of his rallies, calling them boring, saying people leave early because they cannot stand the things that they are witnessing. She knew, or at least her team knew, that he would have to respond to that rather than attacking her on issues that truly matter and I think his ego took over and he did exactly that. Now, on Trump's performance, I feel like he did an all right job about talking about the current state of our country, the current states of the economy, asking the audience what Kamala has done in the past three and a half years that she has been vice president, that she has been part of this administration, but he really gave a lackluster performance when it came to calling her out on things like immigration. I feel like he could have got a lot harder on that subject matter, really emphasized the number of illegal immigrants that are entering through our southern border, the crime, the drugs that they are bringing with them and instead, I think he veered off in the direction of talking about Springfield, which is now a viral clip that has gone around where he says they're killing people's pets, they're eating their dogs. Now, it's not to say that the stories out of Springfield are not true. We've covered them on this channel, you guys can go and check out the video. But if you're the average American who's tuning into a presidential debate and you hear one of the candidates say that illegal immigrants are eating people's dogs, it doesn't come off as holy saying, even though we do have reports like this coming out of Springfield. And that was a point where I realized Trump could have really honed in more and talked about things that are truly pivotal to the discussion and really attacked her and attacked her on what has been going on for the past three and a half years. So he lost out a little bit there. Also, taking the bait that she was putting out about his ego, about his rallies, things that made him emotional, he really lost out there. He came off as far less composed than she was. And there are a couple of moments where you really see this. His ego really shined when he circled back on a prior comment that Kamala made about, you know, I'm speaking. - I'm talking now, if you don't mind, please. Does that sound familiar? - And tried to make that viral moment happen again, but in his favor, that was all ego talking. I felt like he could have really come after her on Tim Walz, some of his stances, some of his policy prescriptions, the things that he's done while in leadership. But instead, I think he just referred to him as not a great guy, or kind of like a like a Looney Toon, like he's crazy. We could have really used some specifics on who her running mate is. And we lost out on that. Meanwhile, I feel like Kamala Harris was so scripted. She knew every single point that she wanted to attack Trampon. She knew how she was going to bait him into that point. And mark after mark after mark, she hit over and over. But, you know, we didn't really get the chance to see these two candidates debate in their prime because of the way this debate was stacked against Donald Trump. And I feel like that is a point that cannot be lost on us. He got multiple fact checks. Kamala Harris got nothing. So for the end of this video, I want to go ahead and fact check some of the things that Kamala Harris said during last night's debate, where the moderators just simply remained silent. Kamala Harris repeatedly talked about unifying on the subject of race. She said that was something that she wanted to veer away from, that she wasn't a candidate that wanted to focus on race. But here's a clip of her talking about the BLM riots from 2020 and how they simply must go on. - I know that there are protests still happening in major cities across the United States. I just not seeing the reporting on it that I had. - Right, that's right. - And for the first few weeks. - But they're not gonna stop, they're not gonna stop. And that's, this is a movement, I'm telling you, they're not gonna stop. And everyone beware because they're not gonna stop, it is gonna, they're not gonna stop before election day in November and they're not gonna stop after election day. And that should be, everyone should take note of that on both levels, that this isn't, they're not gonna let up and they should not. And we should not. - Kamala Harris also said during last night's debate that she didn't want to take away anyone's guns. - Then this business about taking everyone's guns away, Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We're not taking anybody's guns away. So stop with the continuous lying about this stuff. - But here's her talking about a gun buyback. What would you do about the millions of specifically assault weapons that are already in circulation? What do you do about those? - Well, there are approximately five million to your point, Craig. We have to have a buyback program and I support a mandatory buyback program. It's gotta be smart, we gotta do it the right way. - One, I'll tell you when elected president, if the United States Congress continues to fail to have the courage to do something about this, I'm prepared to take executive action and put in place a ban on the importation of assault weapons into our country. But we still have to deal with the over two million assault weapons that are currently in the streets of America. - Here's also a clip of her and president Biden debating a few years back where he says her stance on guns is unconstitutional. - They said I'm going to issue an executive order by the saying there's no constitutional authority to issue that executive order when they say I'm going to eliminate assault weapons, saying you can't do it by executive order any more than Trump can do things when he says he can do it by executive order. Does the vice president have a point there? - Some things you can, many things you can. - Let the senator answer. - Oh, I mean, I would just say, hey, Joe, it's said to say, no, we can't, let's say yes, we can. (laughing) - Let's be constitutional, we gotta go to-- - Yes, we can. - On the subject of Springfield, Ohio, Kamala Harris insinuated that Donald Trump was extreme for talking about the fact that illegal immigrants are taking up people's pets, killing them and eating them. But here's a resident from Springfield, Ohio, emphasizing the fact that this is happening. - I don't even want to like, seem like I'm coming down on the immigrants 'cause it's the people that's bringing them down here 'cause wherever they're at, that's what they're used to, bro. They're in the park, grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and walking off with them and eating them like-- - Here's also a warning from Springfield, Ohio about someone's cat that was taken and eaten. Kamala Harris brought back the fine people lie when it comes to Donald Trump saying that he referred to neo-Nazis and white nationalists as fine people. Here is that debunked. And really the biggest issue for me personally is immigration. She spoke as though she's a candidate that has not only done something about immigration but is going to continue to do something about immigration. And we all know that throughout her campaign, she has leaned on many of Donald Trump's campaign promises in order to substantiate this idea that she is going to do something about the influx of illegal immigrants entering through our southern border. But here's Kamala Harris actually patting herself on the back for allowing hundreds of thousands of Haitian migrants through our southern border and granting them TPS temporary protection status. - That is why also, starting with our administration, we gave TPS temporary protected status to Haitian migrants, 55,000. And then more recently, we extended temporary protected status to over 100,000 Haitian migrants for that very reason, that they need support, they need protection. - And that's just a few fact checks. She also went off about Project 2025, which Trump was actually allowed to catch her on January 6. She spouted a bunch of lies. FBI crime data, she spouted a bunch of lies and no fact check from David Muir or Lindsey Davis. It was unbelievable to watch guys. And that's really where I stand on last night's debate. Do I feel as though this debate changed anybody's opinion or changed their vote in this upcoming election? I don't know, I don't think so. I think if you're a Trump supporter, you remain a Trump supporter throughout this. If you're a supporter of Kamala Harris, you probably feel as though she came out on top and you're happy about that, but you're going to continue to support Kamala Harris. Of course, I don't know that anybody was really swayed in either direction. It probably just reinforced the way we already feel about these candidates. So I don't know how substantial the impact of this is actually going to be. I'm leaning towards it not being really impactful at all. Guys, I'm curious to hear what you thought. As I said, the most shocking thing about last night's debate was not their performances, but was the lack of journalistic integrity from ABC. We really saw the man behind the curtain when it comes to media and the propaganda machine that exists within our media apparatus here in this country. It was horrifying to watch, but that is just the current state of affairs in this nation. Drop your thoughts on last night's debate in the comments down below. Last night Donald Trump and Kamala Harris had their first presidential debate. They went back and forth on immigration, the economy, foreign affairs, taxes, crime, and more. The debate was wild for more reasons than one. Abc had a vendetta against Donald Trump, Kamala brought her scripted A-game, and Trump lost momentum while also falling for many traps. Let’s talk about it.
