(upbeat music) - Today is Monday, September 9th, and this is Coke Spirit's Daily Bible Reading Plan. Today's scripture comes from the book of Romans, chapter 15, verse 13. I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Now let's apply it. This week we'll be looking at ways to rediscover our joy. Joy is more than being happy. It is a deep down piece that comes with a relationship with God. Each day this week, we will look at verses that remind us of our joy and where it comes from. In today's reading, Paul tells us that God is the source of hope, which leads to joy. When we trust God, he fills us completely with joy and peace. Do you look to God as your source of hope? How our hope and joy related in your life.
