Recently, I asked Mint Mobile's legal team if big wireless companies are allowed to raise prices due to inflation. They said yes. And then when I asked if raising prices technically violates those owners to your contracts, they said, "What the f*ck are you talking about? You insane Hollywood s*ck?" So to recap, we're cutting the price of Mint Unlimited from $30 a month to just $15 a month. Give it a try at Mint Mobile.com/Switch. $45 up from payment equivalent to $15 per month, new customers on first three month plan only, taxes and fees extra, no speed slower above 40 gigabytes of details. Good morning folks. Welcome to the game of news. The Reds did fall for September 2024. My name is Bill and with me this morning to discuss all the engines I've got either. How are you, my friend? Not bad, my mind. Good morning to you. Hi, G.S. David. So a national break, something I think two wants, the straight tater and at the heart of most football fans. So things will be that way for the next look and develop, I guess, in terms of what's happening with Rangers. But few talk people this morning. David, the beating, travelled down to Blackburn last night. I think it was interesting that there were appearances for Clinton and Ciala, as well as Adam Devein, Alex Novie, and of course James Hantu. We also had a substitute appearance for the gallant for your sponsor, the Cleo and Josh Gentles, which is nice to see. And we had, of course, Josh's three response are known, which was really, really easy to go. But that lost the blind bunsets to you, David. First of all, to me, it highlights the need for regular beating factors, and not just means I'd hope it is against various teams for these different parts of the country or even part of whatever. We had the team in the Lawland League a couple of seasons ago. I thought that was a really good thing. I thought that you would have been some good football against, you know, maybe a men's football, and plenty of these guys were actually not out, and something is important to enter here, come to the position and all of that. We've not had that for a couple of seasons now. Do you think this is something that is damaging the academy to a space, and not getting regular for a free football? Yeah, I think so. The fixtures seem to come kind of almost like an afterthought. I know that obviously they are planned in advance, but sometimes it says, like, you don't hear anything about the beating, and then suddenly there's like a bunch of fixtures. The Lawland League thing, I thought that was the perfect setup. You know, it wasn't thrown them into the deep end, you know, in some sort of synchronous mentality, but you know, for young guys, it was started decent standards. Since that, since that kind of, you know, came to an end, I think that, yeah, they're certainly not as noticeable now, and yeah, I do think it's affected the development by not having that actual, you know, structure in place. I think it's definitely affected them. What I would say a bit of a nice thing is I think that Blackbum, where obviously, you know, a good team, not to, you know, take anything away from them, but they are, you know, clearly quite a capable team. But yeah, I think that result is probably not majority, but you know, as in part, as I think it's affected by the fact that, you know, they don't have that weak structure anymore. Yeah, I think so too. I think what it also means is that academic players will struggle to get close to their English trustee if they're not playing right there if they're not. I think it's something that we really need to look at soon, and you know, lots of other countries in Europe, their bootings will play, and as I think the first year, it's being Belgian, all of that. I think we, and I'm going to say we, I'm sorry, should we not destroy yours? I think we need to look at what the future is for a big team, and whether it was a big team group, or we're going to work with agents again, or we just need to do something to get them ready for both. Yeah. I mentioned that. So did I look at them? No, no, I was just going to say I think for an academy that's supposed to, you know, feed the senior team it's with definitely, with definitely, not giving numbers to show that it's been a proven success. Obviously, there are players that have came from youth level, made this step up, and, you know, some have went on for, you know, a profit. But at the same time, I do think that at the moment, the number of players that have reached that level, either first team or, you know, I say it's been less than what we would expect from the money that's getting put into the academy. Yeah, and, you know, I think some of the players that we've seen, obviously, Nathan Parterson is the best success, looking at it. But if you think of some of the other players who have came to broken through, like Leon came, for example, has it really featured them, the first team in the United States courts? Probably, I think, really, the last team that was in contention was a couple of seasons ago, one of the two, and since we've got a lot of approval, very informative, I don't really think Leon came to speak in contention to him. They're going to start being a left and not even come off the bench. I made it all in that, but that's my recollection. But there's a lot of guys that have stood to me, and I think it's at Lewis and New York Commonwealth, who was in another academy. And the fact that he's gone on and done pretty well and looks a good player, I think you're going to attribute that to get him first-in-foot already. Similarly, you know, and obviously, if we need to be doing something to get guys out for six months of the whole season, to Claude Smibby in the championship or within the MSPL or something, I think that might be another thing that could, you know, bring some of these players on. But I certainly think nobody is benefiting from not getting any football, you know, that's competitive, but I think players, especially sort of 17, 18, 19, didn't need to be competitive. Or youth level, you know, is done by then at MSPL competitive. There was, as I mentioned, appearances for Miss Yalla, the very low rate algae. With Miss Yalla, I am wondering how far away he is from getting, I sort of run out in the first team. I was really quite furious with how to send her back to him, but all back four, I suppose, I don't think we defended particularly well. Looks good in points. And I do think we can play in the back four. So I'm wondering if the manager's thinking a bit, do you have any kind of chance anything soon? What's your thoughts? I mean, I don't have gigantic hopes for him, and it's not exactly a glowing report when we say that it can't be any worse. He, as a young guy, needs to get used to the game here. I don't think he's ever played out with outside of Italy. There's a lot of work to be done there. And a first-team player might develop, but at the moment, I do not think that we should expect to see him any time soon. His performances in the B-Team seem to be solid enough. I don't think it's been, I don't think there's been loads of negativity, but at the same time, there's not been any sort of excitement there. You know, writing the B-Team, getting in the first team, he's clearly at a level above, etc. I think really has just now, has probably has current level. Not to say that he won't improve, but I don't think that putting him in, say, after a couple of weeks, even having him on the bench or playing him in defense from the start, I don't think that will, I don't think that will breed sort of defensive performances all of a sudden. Defense is an issue, obviously, so, I mean, as I say, possibly we can't do any of us, but at the same time, I mean, that's just where we are just now in the fact that we're running a young guy that's, you know, just arrived at a trusted slot in the defense. So, yeah, it's, I don't think it's his time. I think his time will come this season. Don't get me wrong. I don't think he's at worst cause. I don't think he's hopeless or anything like that. But at the moment, he's very ordinary, you know, very kind of vanilla, just kind of plain sort of thing. And yeah, I think it'll take away all year before we can expect to see him. Yeah, I'm kind of hopeful that you'll get on to the bench and sort of the next couple of months. And hopefully we can be in a position where we are comfortable and we can train them on to build that. Like I said, you know, I'm not expected that he can send for those who are from your own end sort of end. I didn't know that I was furious with him. I had four at the weekend there. I've camped him slightly and I don't think he'd do that in touch in any of the unpleasantness for the weekend. Let's say, you know, it has kind of been a little on things. Speaking of players all over the world. Be honest, Haji, we've kind of done the debate there for a year, but, you know, the transfer when there was no cause, barring a move to Tarki I suppose, which still has the transfer of a new open for probably a couple of weeks, I think, if you think the September causes there. So the barring any move to Tarki, Haji, as year for the foreseeable, there was talk last week about negotiation, a new contract. There was also talk last week in Columbia, and it's not the guy who used to deserve number 10 sort of thing. Is it a giant waste having the understanding of building a building? Should we be doing something with him? The short answer is yes. I don't think there's many that would disagree with it. Whether it's short term to, you know, put them in the shop window or whether it's, you know, come on to swallow these prides, so to speak. It was just really weird. Doc is Friday, we were getting sound bites, like he's going to be offered a new contract, it's going to slightly register his wage, but it'll be renegotiated, and everybody's thinking, okay, well, we've buried the hatchet and going forward, there's a work on ECM, and then less than 12 hours later at a press conference. The manager's like, he's not in my plans, I've asked him to find another team, so you don't know. It's weird, because there's so many opinions on the Hargis situation. A lot of people have, you know, got their own ideas, but none of it is concrete, and none of it is really agreeable, because you don't know what the hell's going on, you know, between the player and manager. And then you involve his agent as well, and to our lesser extent, has his own hand, who seems to be, you know, came up with some, you know, snappy vocal bites every now and again. So, yeah, it's a bizarre situation. I don't see any benefit of him being an upbeat team, I'm not saying he's a game changer, I'm not saying he's a first pick, but, you know, he can surely do something in games, especially against the killer, you know, the bottom half further, that we usually don't have problems against, so I really don't know what's going on, and it's hard to form any sort of opinion. Yeah, it is a strange one. But my money, you know, I do think Hargis would be something they offer, I actually think, you know, there's a case for putting Hargis in a head of Tom Lawrence in a lot of ways, in some games. But obviously, the manager doesn't fancy him, and the thing that protects me a lot of his Hargis, or the reason I look at Hargis in what's interesting, has been paid to do nothing, is it, for putting the beat in. To be fair, for Hargis, you know, he seems to be giving it his own, although it's just a beating, and a lot of players would not be doing that, a lot of players would go away in half, as we've seen in a certain other player through the past, the conflict, simply. So, in fairness to Hargis, he's doing everything he can do. He's making noses about him, so I just know that. I just worry that Philip Cunmone is not the type of manager to swallow his pride, and, you know, if we have an injury to Tom Lawrence, for example, because we're already struggling with that number 10 rule, and a rule brought Ashirani and his point to open as he erases. And he may go on and do it the way out, but, you know, that's just what he's having Tom Lawrence, as the kind of number 10's, and if come on to 10's, the way with the number 10, then by the way, I don't think the M90 has come to itself and go re-stepping in that rule. Then, you know, we're only going to lose to Hargis as a back-up, I don't know if anyone else has, at least, an option, even if it were. So, if it does work in Hargis, then come on. As the kind of guy who swallow his pride, I don't know what you're thinking about. Yeah, I think it's safety. Sometimes his comments are contradictory of what he said previously. Sometimes his comments are misleading, and sometimes they're just downright baffling. But I think he does know what he's doing. I don't think he's, you know, they're not quite yet. I don't think he's away with a phrase or anything, but everything he does does seem quite calculated, regardless of whether it sounds like nonsense or not. And I think what's definitely calculated is that he's getting no plans for Hargis. I said the other day on the podcast that although we might have numbers to rotate, we don't actually have the quality to rotate. So fair enough, but Jeremy, I don't have any feels about him. The Rangers being Rangers, you know, there's a very high possibility that he could end up wearing an injury. And if that's the case, then you've got Lawrence, who, I mean, he's not the worst, but he's certainly not the answer. And then after Lawrence, does he persist with that number then? You know, does he relain and, you know, play with a flat three? Or does he just remain that kind of that pick headed element of his personality that he's clearly got? And does he just, you know, start putting, again, you know, round pegs and square holes? It's an interesting, it's an interesting topic simply because it's just so unpredictable. As I say, you know, regardless of who you're listening to and, you know, people, it might seem the most plausible opinion or you might hear the wildest opinion. But I mean, it's kind of the stage where they entertain them all simply because it's just a bizarre, real situation. And so, yeah, as I have, as I say, I've got absolutely no doubts that visual anime will be a key player for us. But, you know, if something happens to him, then we're back to square one. And to not bring had you in some play because you've made up your mind about him, you know, is a bit, it's very stubborn to be part. Yeah. And I think the point that you've touched on there about taking a square hole or baseball shot. Yeah. I will be really disappointed that happens when the party is just getting into beating. And I think the residents need to be pragmatic even if the guy is not going to feature him in their long-term plans. He's here for another hour. I'm pretty sure you're getting the way that he's been playing for the PTA and all of that. If he was given a start or even to come off a bench or whatever, he'd be able to do this in a minute for a second. So I think the need for optimism sometimes. Moving on from the PTA and Hargin Perpetular, the women's side are facing Arsenal tonight and Champions were qualifying away as our 7.30 pick off. David, we've talked last season with the women's team about messing out in terms of the course we've gone to scoring half-grains. And it's no an accusation for them in the season 40. It's been goals in front of them so far, but obviously this is a taste for another label. And I watched the interview on our TV network. They should hold something, not just being there in a couple of numbers, with a good preparation. You're hopeful we'll get this out tonight. If I'm being completely honest, I would say no. I do think Arsenal, it's not just next level, it's several levels. I hope I'm wrong. I hope if any of the people that follow the ladies team or indeed any of the players themselves hear this, they're spending the next week mocking me, because obviously I would really like them to win. But I can't see it. I think it's a big ask. They scored a lot of goals domestically. They've been fantastic domestically. Night and day compared to the rest, but Arsenal are established. They've got professionals, they've got a massive squad, they've got a good manager. And I just think it's a wee bit, I think it's asking a wee bit too much for them to qualify. They might get a draw, even I think that would be a fantastic result. But in terms of securing a win and progressing over the two legs, I would say probably not. After I did probably a little bit, that's a quick one, but you know, it's both industries and you see exactly the other ones. It's something I've got stated, it's what we've lost this December, as we cut things against Dundee. How are you feeling with it up? Can you come soon enough? I'm pleased that it's came so badly because I thought it was going to run below on. And we would have like a deadline that then come down to another deadline, then another deadline. So I'm very pleased that it's happening this month. I think it's going to make a world of difference both to the support and the players. We do have to make sure that any inspiration we get from our return at home feeds only the pitch and we start getting results that we really should be classed as more than capable of. But yeah, just to be back home will be a massive boost for everybody. As I say, it cannot come quick enough. Yeah, I think obviously it's the 21st of September, in Dundee and the cup. And there is still work on going in the street again. So as far as I understand, that's important. It's a good one to focus on. Yeah, I wonder if that will help. I think it was a good factor. And then for all that was necessary in the short term to put it hand in. It was not pretty. And people were a lot happy with it. And I think, you know, again, again, standing in 18th, in 15th, in the lead. And if we get a positive result, I think standing in 18th, I'm hopeful that there will be a good positivity going back to high growth. But I think right now, you know, like I said, we're in the international group and so what a negativity is swirling around. This is one of the things, including some of the parts that are something that is one of the things that can help bring that positivity behind. Yeah, I think it's lost. Another story that's kept in the room is the last two topics which is part of the year. The Turkish transfer when there was a sit-in, there was usually no one here in the September. You do wonder after what we saw at the end. As you go away, the negativity effect has personal situations, that's something you can get interested in anyway. Does it want to be here until the end of the season? What's your thoughts on that? You think it's the time and you think that we are thanks at the time? I think it's definitely the time, yeah. I think he doesn't look, I mean, fair enough, he's advancing in years and regressing in performances. He's still capable of goals, maybe an assist, but his defensive play is now officially non-existent. I think as time formed ago, I've said it all pre-season. He might want his day for that to complete his testimonial year, but I think by now he should maybe be looking at a fresh start. I think it's a good weather, a decent standard of football, might still get into Europe. He'll probably get paid rather well. For Rangers, he's just, I mean, at first I was saying, like, he needs a rest, he needs, you know, a spell on the bench or on the sidelines, but now I'm thinking it's best for everyone if he seeks pastures new. His leadership skills are pretty much a day appear to be non-existent, but the problem is that there's nobody really that looks like they're able to take over. I don't see any other players being very vocal. I don't see any other players trying to organize, defend, midfield, whatever. I certainly don't see any other players, you know, like burying others for, you know, maybe missing a tackle, missing a pass, not sporting the opportunity for, you know, a throw ball, whatever, you don't see any other. So even although I'm saying that it might be best for him to go, I don't think there's, I think, a void will remain in terms of leadership and will remain kind of, you know, kind of a rudderless, if you like. So it can work both ways, but I'm very much leaning mostly towards him, or even as the best possible outcome. And, you know, in terms of just our organization, with the backboard and not vocal, with all that, I thought, Robin Croker would have kind of stepped up and seen that guy. I thought he would be the organizer in there, but he doesn't look that way so far, I know he's going to have a couple of days, so I don't see anybody really getting berated, he don't see any sort of furious calls. It's all quite gentle when it happens, I think. I think as well, see the, what was a rather embarrassing video, but that video from Sunday, where he's getting berated by a fan, I think it was quite telling that none of these colleagues and other players that kind of got involved, you know, either dragging him away or dragging the fan away or whatever. I mean, if you look at, say, I know it's bloody comparing night and day, you know, massively, but can you imagine Richard got off just standing by and the nine in a row team like just kind of bolding the bus nonchalantly while he's getting yelled and bolder. You know, some day, who fair enough was a dick, but you know, it's just weird that it's just weird that, you know, he was left taking a face that on his own. I never expected, that's not something I would ever expect from any range of team. But yeah, it was very telling on Sunday that he faced that on his own, while the others just cannot thunder on either bus. You know, I might be reading too much in that fair enough, but I just think that it was another, it was more fuel with a fire that we really don't have much in terms of leadership. Yeah, I don't think it's strange as well, although, you know, things are different, you know, from what they got in the mountains and, you know, the, I'm sure they'll have various specific things around what you're supposed to do and stuff like that. I suppose there was no camera phones back in the day. So, I'll get you. Yeah, absolutely. Rather than the tone go, maybe it was several weeks now, having picked up an Amsterdam injury, he has withdrawn to the wheels and a national squad. I'm hoping he's back in time, but to be honest, like after having watched from the constraints every year, you know, absolutely throw the up. He definitely did much at the weekend in my years and really if he's dissamined a place, he's a stakeholder, but I don't think so. Yeah, he started, I mean, the manager and I think pretty much, I think even the commentators had said that it was starting to match with a slight injury, which is failing off because it aimed his place in the team. And he's placed in the team after Ross County, but I'm getting the feeling that Ross County was his one good game in every 10. So he's fulfilled his quota for the foreseeable. And yeah, we'll maybe get another performance like that come December. But possibly I'm being harsh on him. I guess if he did have that injury, then his impact was probably going to be limited. The manager sort of fit to pick him and that's fine. But yeah, I do get if you're in the. The longer he's out, if he is out for, you know, several weeks, I think the longer he's out, the more he'll wear be quest as a missing link or, you know, he's important so be elevated, which seems to happen when we've got players out for a few games. Remains to be seen. I'm not devastated that he's injured, but obviously I would rather have him available because for all these inconsistencies, of which, you know, the evidence is solid. He is still capable of, you know, that one bit of there. I don't want you to say magic because that's over egging a bit, but you know, I mean, it's he's capable of that. You know, one bit of skill that can change again. So yeah, I'd rather it was there, but I don't think it's a crushing bow. Yeah, I mean, I do think you're right. Obviously, after two goals and two assists, he's going to do the lead. You know, bring him off. If he's thinking he's fit to play, but as it's a shame, you know, but I totally agree with the point that no longer somebody's missing. The, the better they become, you know, and it doesn't always change the reality. The final thing I want you to touch on this morning called up to the Scotland squad. I think these are the great start for the season. So it's fall into home tomorrow. Portugal will be in some major on-suit results from the squad. Do you think that it's going to get in a game time? It's time around, but is it just to get in and in terms of squad and most importantly, I think having a sort of to avoid an injury? Yeah, obviously it's good for the player. If I'm being totally selfish, I'd hope that he has just in and around this squad simply because I don't want it injured. But from a completely neutral perspective, a non-selfish one, I think it's great that he's been called up at such an early age and so early in his Rangers career. And if we are looking at, you know, a few years down the line, you know, we can say hopefully that he's a proven and emotional. That'll feed him his confidence for us. It's, you know, it's a win-win for us. And I don't know if he will. I don't know. I certainly don't think he'll start, but I think he'll feature at some point because I think, you know, for all his fault, Cork does seem to have the willingness to, you know, get unproven younger guys in about this squad. So I think he'll feature at one point, but whether he's, you know, classed as a starting member of this squad, then obviously we'll just need to wait and see you. But no, I'm very pleased for the player. And I think it's, it's testament to how he started this season that he's been, you know, he's been deemed as a I was the pick. So yeah, I wish him all the best and hopefully he can feature and, you know, make a difference. Yeah, I agree. And the one thing with us for me is that we still get the, the trade, you know, over a transfer fee and, and national appearances probably have to start off. But that sort of, out of range of times, there's nothing you can really do, but I'm just, I think, as it comes. And I think that's going to do this for today, folks.
