Well, if you know how much I love wine, you know, how excited I am to talk to Damien from my favorite. Oh, my God, this is my favorite new rosé. Chateau August grand rosé. Hi, Damien. Hi, Tiffany. I thought I was a Chardonnay girl. You have won me over entirely. And I read a tweet, Janine said, um, the good news is I, my six bottles of Chateau August rosé arrived yesterday. The bad news is I may drink them all today. Can you get more offer codes, maybe the other varietals? Well, I think I may go through a lot of them by November. You make a lot of great wines. I, you know, I'm excited to get into the Reds as we get into fall. But I mean, this rosé is just a perfect summer wine, isn't it? Sure. No, it's a perfect summer wine. It's made with with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. So it's not usual for for a rosé because it's normally more for red grapes for red wines. And no, that's why we tried to change the techniques few few years ago, because we just want to to make something different. We get the right fruit, yeah, right color and right taste. One of the things I love is that you play music to the vines twice a day. This is a scientific process. Tell us about that. We work with with genetics with the company who made the box for the music on the on the vineyards. It's more frequencies and vibration. So and we played two times per day when when the sunrise and the size. Yeah, and it's at the vines to have a better immunity. So it's it's good for the health of the vines. I cannot recommend this grand rosé highly enough again. My serious XM listeners get over 50% off. Go to vs.wine six bottles for 98 bucks and three delivery. Like Donald Trump's time in the White House, this seemed to drag on a little longer than it was supposed to. But I didn't hear too many complaints for the next hour and a half or so. We're going to be taking your calls, talking with our experts and processing what we've all just experienced. I got to say, I've been watching these for many years. I've never seen a president with the guts to close with inspiring lines like we were a nation in decline. We're not a leader. We don't have any idea what's going on. We're going to end up a third world war and it'll be a war like no other because of nuclear weapons, beautiful well put. We want to know what you guys thought as we just witnessed an overqualified woman face off against an unqualified lying man born of grotesque privilege. The debate was set for 90 minutes, went on a little bit longer. And I think we can all agree Donald Trump has made a lot of people need to apologize to Joe Biden for criticizing his coherence at the last debate. I am so pleased to welcome three wonderful guests to the show who I think have begun arriving. We may start without a full a full cast here. But what did you guys think as well? Because we'll be taking your calls at 866-997-4748. Kamala Harris tried to present herself as a break from the past. As a voice of the future, Trump has been trying to reinforce that no, she's an incumbent, that she owns Biden's record and that he's the agent of change. How do you guys think they both did? Well, let's get to it. I am so pleased to welcome the beginnings of our panel, Alison Gill, who's of my favorite people in media, known as AG to her many loyal followers, is a terrific entertainer, author and a staunch advocate for the resistance. She, of course, began the Mueller. She wrote podcast out of her kitchen and when Donald Trump had her fired, she came back and began the Daily Beans podcast. She is one of the brightest voices in media. Alison, it's a pleasure to have you. Welcome. Oh my gosh, hi. I'm so happy to be here right now. I'm so happy that you're happy and not wearing a shroud. Please let me welcome one of our favorite writers. A journalist who just blows my mind all the time, Heather Digby-Pardon, known to you a lot as Digby, a contributing writer to Solan. She's been called one of the leading and most admired commentators of the liberal progressive blogosphere. And she is one of the sharpest op-ed writers on the current state of American politics. Heather, it's a pleasure to have you with us. Welcome. Thanks for having me. I couldn't be happier to be here too. This is a great night to be on your show. Well, thank you. I've grown to measure these debates by how not suicidal my wife is at the end of them in 2024. So it's glad to hear. We're going to be joined very shortly by the great Areva Martin, who are very glad to have with us. But let's dive into it, guys. Before we begin, let me just say, I can easily be manipulated with flattery and favors. Just know that going in. Okay, please. Alison, let me start with you. I think Donald Trump is definitely going to be losing weight. If he keeps letting Kamala Harris drink his milkshake, like what we just witnessed for the last two hours, what are your initial thoughts? We'll talk about a postnatal abortion. That's what happened to Donald Trump today. If I can be serious for a second, here's what I feel like her debate prep went, and I think there were lessons learned from the Joe Biden debate. First, she fact-checked him where she could, and I will hand it to David Mure. He actually did some really good fact-check. So she'd fact-check him where she could. Then she would put out her policy on whatever topic we're talking about. Then she would bait him by saying something like, "Your rallies are too small," or, "They're all laughing at you," or, "I've spoken to this person and they think that you are susceptible to flattery and favors," and, "John, your hair looks incredible tonight, but it looks incredible every night." And so that re-step process that I think, if I would be interested in seeing the preparation documents, fact-check your policy, bait. Worked for Charm, because he started talking about batteries and landing strips for gay Martians and, like, it sounded like a dead-meltman song to me. Everything was just off the deep end. He's, I think he is. One point said that there were people getting transgender surgeries and illegal aliens in prison, and then he said something about fracking right after. Like, it was so incoherent. She lacked him. And whatever her debate plan was, I think was incredibly successful. I've never seen anything like that. And I am prone to hyperbole, but I really mean it this time. Well, I happen to think hyperbole is worse than the Nazis. No, that's actually hyperbole. But I want to also apologize. It's Lindsey Davis. Not Kristen Welker. I'm sorry. It's been a while since I spent this much time with ABC News. And I have to say kudos to ABC News for not having any fact-checking as their official policy, but letting the anchors do it if they wanted. They did it judiciously. Our white-wing friends are angry. Not that Donald Trump lied more, but that he got fact-checked more. I just say, if you're talking to angry Republicans, just ask them, which fact-check did you specifically dispute? Heather, let me go to you. What are your initial thoughts after what we've just witnessed? Would you use a adjective like shellact? Absolutely. I'm feeling a lot of Kamala joy here tonight, I've got to say. A lot of that real excited sort of Kamala, Tim Walz kind of vibe that I think is appropriate after watching this. I don't know that I've ever seen a better debate performance than Kamala Harris's. Honestly, I've watched a lot of these. She was completely on target. I second everything that Allison said about her tactics, which were just brilliant and really smoothly done. But I also want to say that I think they were very, very aware of the visuals of this. And we knew that after watching the horrible debacle of the Joe Biden debate, that with that split screen, it was very important for her, first of all, to sort of look like she had the stature to sort of be there beside him, which is hard, because she's obviously a lot shorter than he is, but they managed that visual well. But she looked at him probably, I think, more than 50% of the time. She looked straight at him. She addressed him directly. And he did not look at her once. And it was obvious, watching through the whole thing, he could not look her in the eye. And she's just staring him down the whole time. It was really, really well done. And I think that she covered all the bases in terms of issues. I think she covered what she needed to cover. I think she did address people at home, obviously enough so that they didn't appear that they were being ignored. And she gave some answers that I just thought were just great. I've been waiting a long time to hear a Democratic politician talk about abortion, the way that she talked about it tonight. And it was unapologetic. It was straightforward. It was right directly to what the people in this country really need to hear from a president right now, much better than anything Joe Biden's ever said on that topic, by the way, not that I'm not trying to belittle him in any way. But he's grown a lot on that topic. But you're right. You're exactly right. It's not a subject. So we're going to hit a break in a minute. But before we do, I want to welcome our third panelists and ladies, if any of you have to bail, I understand it's great to have you even briefly. If any of you can stay until a bit after 11 p.m. Eastern time, 8 p.m. Pacific, we'd love to keep you. But Areva Martin is also with us award-winning attorney, best-selling author, legal commentator. So when I love watching on TV, Areva, it's so good to have you back. We've only got about two minutes before our first break. But what are your initial thoughts? Wow, John. All I can say is, wow, wow, wow. I don't think I've ever seen anyone hate down a grown man the way Kamala Harris just took Trump down. She was flawless. She was brilliant. She was unapologetic. And one of your panelists just said, you know, Democrat talking about abortion. How about a Democrat fighting back and not being afraid to throw some punches? That's what I loved about this debate. Democrats, you know, Michelle told us when they go low, we go high. But at the D and C, she told us we can take the gloves off. We don't have to keep going high when they go low. And I think Kamala got the memo, she got the message. And she was so on point tonight. Yeah, I call that Michelle. I call that Michelle Obama speech when they go low, we step on them. We're going to take a break in just a moment. We've got about a minute. But when we come back, if any of you can stay, we'd love to have you. Donald Trump is obviously been struggling to win over female voters. The recent CNN poll shows Harris is leading it by 18 points above suburban women. In Pennsylvania, I'm going to ask of all when we come back. How did Donald Trump do on the things he needed to do? And how did Vice President Harris do on the things she needed to do? And will this debate move any polls? I kind of think it will. But we'll be back in just a moment with all three of our panelists and your calls at 866-997-Grit. This is progress. It was like porn for the Angels and we want to know what you think. We are with three of the smartest voices in media right now. Areva Martin is with us. Heather Digby Parton of Ceylon, Alison Gill of Mueller She Wrote and the Daily Beans Podcast. We'll be taking your calls later at the hour with Keith Price at 866-997-4748 so start filling up the cues but let me talk to our brilliant panel right now. Here's the question Areva. I'll start with you. Did any of this, do you think, begin to move any polls? Oh, I think it had to, John. Everyone was waiting for this debate. We called the debate of the century, definitely the debate of this political era. There was this question about how would Kamala Harris address Donald Trump's repeated lies that we knew he would tell. How was she addressed his repeated insults which we know that he would lob at her and she was flawless in her execution. For those people who, and I don't know if I believe John, there are a whole lot of people who are on the fence, a whole lot of people who have not decided who they're voting for, but if you were on the fence or if you are that person, to hear someone talk about the future, to hear someone talk about aspirations and wanting to be your president, I don't think Donald Trump said one time tonight that he would be the president of all of America, that he was going to help look up the dreams and aspirations of the American people. He kept reminding us that this is a failing country, that this is a country that's going into World War III. The whole conversation is so negative. And if you want to wake up tomorrow and have a hope and a dream that maybe your life can be better, this is not the president for you. So I hope there are people out there like me, like my children, like the people I know who still dream, I don't know whether it's the travel of the world, build a business, get an education, get a degree, whatever you dream for, those things that wake us up every morning that keep us going, come, well, Harris says, let me be there with you and partner with you on your journey. Donald Trump says, forget about it. The country's going to hell and a handbag and you're going with it. He was selling a hellscape and she was selling hope. Heather Dickby Pardon, let me ask you, I mean, it really seems like she got him to go off the rails and got under his skin in ways I could not have predicted. He was yelling. He was cutting her off. He was cutting the moderators off. He was ranting about dog eating. I mean, I think she kind of showed how nuts and how extreme and how insane he is. I mean, he couldn't say if he'd eat, so what abortion bad? Like just by asking direct questions. What do you think? Absolutely. Oh, absolutely. I mean, she was she was really brilliant in the way that she did bait him. And yet it didn't really feel like she was, you know, trying to do some gotcha thing. It happened very smoothly, I think, obviously she was prepared to do this and he fell right into the trap over and over and over again. But that's just him, you know, and I don't even think if she hadn't done that, that he wouldn't have gone in this direction. He clearly had one, he had one thing that he wanted to talk about more than anything else. And that was, you know, immigration, migrant crime, they're coming, they're eating dogs, you know, I mean, all this stuff, this was, this was the message that he wanted to get out there putting it to the extent they did any kind of preparation. And I am not sure they actually did anything. I know that he had Kelsey Gabbard and Matt Gaetz and I think Loomer doing the debate crime team, the dream team there helping him. It appears that that was the only issue that they sort of said he needed to, to emphasize. But beyond that, that, you know, really, he was just babbling at like it, you would see it any rally and reacting very, very badly to anything that she said that kind of rubbed him the wrong way and a lot rubbed him the wrong way. These immigrants are eating dogs. And here's my friend, Robert Kennedy Jr. Alison, let me ask you, on the, on the issue of abortion, I don't know how to begin to explain how badly he handled something he had plenty of time to prepare for. He tried to blame Ralph Northam, the governor, former governor of Virginia, kept calling him the governor of West Virginia, then he was talking about the Democrats favor the execution of babies after birth, which I've waited for years to someone to call him out to his face about that. It finally happened tonight. He repeated the lie that everyone, including Democrats, wanted Roe v. Wade to end. And she just turned right to the camera and talked right to the viewers, the voters, as Donald Trump couldn't even answer a direct question about whether he would veto a national abortion ban. Yeah. And that was the surprising thing to me. He actually, she got him to admit during the debate in front of the biggest audience that he will have between now and the election, that he will not pass a national abortion ban and Democrats know he's lying and independents know he's lying. But his true, honest base will abandon him for that because they want a pro-life national abortion ban. So he's actually, he's trying to hang on to these like 17 Nazi Christian white nationalists and he just lost like 14 of them with that single statement. And that's where he's painted himself into a corner. But I've been waiting for that for a long time too. And I tweeted before the debate, I was like, here's what I want, fact check, post birth abortions, 25 million immigrants, crime is up, border crossings are up. That's all lies. Harris was the borders are. He brought that up. Harris turned black at one point. And she said, you know what? Enough division. We need to unify and move forward. This is ridiculous. He will say he created more jobs. He had the best economy in the world, which is exactly what he said. He'll say tariffs aren't taxes on Americans. And I'm so glad David Mirror pushed back on the tariffs, because they are specifically taxes on the United States, on the taxpayers. We don't tax the Chinese citizens here in the United States. We literally can't do that. And that climate change is a hoax, right? And so we had some really good debate on that. But when she started talking on women's rights and people's rights and our freedoms and was allowed and was given at least two minutes to talk about that, but she nailed it. We stood up. I was watching this. We stood up. We applauded. And it was fascinating to see him implode in real time having to answer to a black woman, which drives him. It was beautiful. Beautiful. Priva, when Lindsey Davis refuted his lie that states are allowing the killing of a baby after birth, I think that's the first fact check of that lie we have ever seen waged in his presence. You were watching the show at a party as well. What did the group you were with think? Oh, everyone rose to their feet, started clapping, started cheering because you're right. That lie gets perpetuated. I've had people say that to me, that people who are pro-abortion also will allow for or support the boarding of a nine month pregnancy. And we know that is absolutely categorically a lie that's been pushed by Donald Trump, those extremists on the right. And we heard it in real time fact check. I think that was so critically important. And the other thing, this lie that the majority of American people wanted Roe v. Wade to be overturned, that it was divisive, that's another big lie. Wellingly, American support Roe v. Wade, they support choice. They support women having freedoms and the freedom to make their own health care decisions about their bodies, about their health care. He knows that. He knows that that's a very difficult topic for him. He tried to skirt it. When they asked about the federal abortion man, he kept saying, I'll never have to get there. I'll never have to get there. That's right. He dodged it. He dodged it. He answered that question because we all know that his base, that Christian right base will crucify him. And they're already party. I mean, they're angry with them. They're not likely to part ways with them, but they may not turn out and they may not vote for him. They're not going to vote for her in all likelihood, but they may not vote for him. They may punish him at the ballot box in November because he has flipped flop on that issue. And he tried to even position himself, John, as the leader on IVF. Yes, he sure did. Areva, he pushed himself as a person who saved Obamacare and he didn't like it, but he saved it. He doesn't have a plan. And they kept saying, what's your plan? And in the two, three minutes that he rambled, he never produced a plan because he doesn't have a plan. That is correct. Which is why he never in nine years, which they pointed out, he was ever able to overturn it. And Republicans don't have a plan. And the reality is many Republicans in the house are on the Affordable Care Act. This is how they get their help. Correct. I want to go to Heather to be parton, but really quick, breaking news breaking news. Breaking news. You want to take an Allison? You want to share it? Go ahead. Yes. From Taylor Swift Instagram, like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven't already. Skip to paragraph three. Skip to paragraph three. All right. Taylor Swift. I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walls in the 20th presidential election. Taylor Swift will be casting her vote for Kamala Harris. I think Joe Biden already proved to us. I think Joe Biden proved to us debates matter a few weeks ago. Absolutely. Heather, I'd be most remiss if I didn't get your thoughts on how Donald Trump and Vice President Harris handled the abortion topic tonight. Well, I mean, as I said earlier, I thought her answer was absolutely brilliant. I thought it was the first time that I have seen ever a Democrat just face that head on, take it exactly, you know, no holds barred. She did not try and obfuscate in any way. She didn't use the old language of, well, safe, legal in your air and, you know, we need to, you know, make sure that families and, you know, people, religious observation and whatever people used to say, no, she came right out and she said, this is about freedom. And she said, she used a term that I that I've never heard any of them use, at least not this frequently over and over again during the debate. She said, a right for women to control their own body. That's not about families. That's not about any next. That's an individual freedom for actual, the actual human beings that are involved in this particular decision to be able to control their own body. And it actually thrilled me a little bit. I liked it. Like the other two here, I also stood up and applauded when I heard it. I absolutely did, you know, right in the middle of the thing, I'm going, Oh my God. And I say, Donald Trump's response was ridiculous as always. Yeah. Nothing. I, I so admired Vice President Harris tonight that I want to get a time machine to bring her to jump into Barack Obama's first Mitt Romney debate in Denver, 2012, when Romney was gish galloping all over Obama because she showed how to do it. Donald Trump tried to deluge her with bullshit and lies and double talk and jive and flood the zone with shit, all the expressions they use. And we saw it's happened to other politicians where they're correcting line number two when the opponents online, number seven, Allison, I couldn't believe that she was really on the offensive for most of this. And it kept Trump on the defensive almost constantly. He never had his footing. He always came off as angry and off his game. Yeah. He was angry man yells at cloud all night. He, he, he was just, you know, I mean, it was without actually mentioning sharks and batteries. It was sharks and batteries. I'm going to refer his response because he was always on his back foot. She always was on the offensive and her plan of fact check him, share my policy details, which the media has been like, where's your policy details? She has always had them. There's tons of them. And then bait him and then end with an uplifting message worked every single time. He was like, look, there's, there's the illegal immigrants getting transgender cat eating surgery in the, in the prisons of Venezuela. Like it was like, it would make no sense. And by the way, I want to invite everyone to join my illegal aliens transgender cat surgery zoom meeting for Harrison walls later on tonight. And it made me feel that effective. That's right. Areva? Absolutely. I just want to jump in and say something else she did that we haven't seen done. The media doesn't do it enough. She pointed out that he is cognitively in decline. She didn't use the word cognitive, but she said, look at what he is stating and affirming about this election. The man was fired by 81 million Americans. Yeah, that's right. His responses are illogical. They're inconsistent. Like he's really not all their people. Do you really want him to be your president? She's right. She wasn't so attacking, but if you were listening closely, she was drawing attention to the fact that he is not cognitively sound the way they talk about Biden. They call that out with Biden all the time. They don't call it out enough with Donald Trump. And she was saying he still believes he won an election that he lost. People. That's not happening. People. He's having trouble processing it is what he's having trouble processing it. He can't understand that the reality, he can't separate back from fiction. He's not well. I mean, that's what all the implicit message is where he's not well people. That's right. So let me close this out with the two big challenges Vice President Harris was facing tonight. And I want to get your thoughts on both. One was how does she distinguish herself as different from President Biden without denigrating the achievements legislatively she's had with President Biden. And then the second one we knew going into it, they were all going to accuse her of being a flip flapper because she's evolved on many policies since 2019 because she really wants to be president. And this is how she's serious about getting elected. How did she handle both the flip flapper accusation and the distinguishing herself from Biden without throwing Biden under the bus? Allison. Well, as a true student of improv and second city, she is she yes ended, right? She said, yeah, I've done this, we had a 10, we want to do this $10,000 break. We started the student loan forgiveness. I'm going to take it further and do this and this and this. I'm going to create 3 million housing units to lower costs. I'm going to cut taxes. I'm not just going to stop. I'm just not just going to tax the wealthy. I'm going to cut taxes on 100 million middle-class Americans. She yes, and Biden. And that's exactly what she needed to do. And I thought that she did it brilliantly. So I feel like her ability to get her policy out there, stop price gouging to ban price gouging to prevent corporate landlords from swooping in and buying up a bunch of houses by giving tax breaks to actual individual people who buy properties to stop from price fixing using different apps. These are things that 70, 80, 90% of Americans want. And so it's very, it's not hard to find something we can all agree on and push that forward so that we can lift all boats because that's what a rising tide does and she did it brilliantly. I think so too. Areva, how did she handle the biggest challenges she faced? Well, she reminded down to Trump, I'm not Joe Biden. So as you're sitting there criticizing him, you might want to look over here. I know it's hard to look at me because you keep staring into space. But she said it. She didn't say it in a disrespectful way. She didn't say it like she didn't appreciate and respect Joe Biden. And she did embrace many of the policies that are, you know, a hallmark of his administration. But then she wanted to talk about what she would do. So she didn't have to throw her arms around him and say, he's my best friend. He's my mentor. I love him. But she let us know that she respects him and she respects the work that they've done together. And at the same time, she's her own person and literally put a period on it to say, I'm not him. And you might have been able to bully him and push him around. But the buck stops here. I mean, that's really what she was saying is that do whatever you did in that June debate, I'm here to let you know it will not fly tonight and he didn't know how to respond to that. He talks so much. I mean, somebody should go and count how many times he mentioned Joe Biden. It has to be like over 50 times that he mentioned Biden trying to tie her to him in a negative way. But she turned that into a positive. She had the confidence of a candidate who knew the Taylor Swift endorsement was coming at 11 p.m. And Heather, I'll give you our fine, sorry, she actually signed it a childless cat lady. So I thought Heather, how do you think the vice president handled the three million followers? He has as many followers as we have Americans in this country. So okay, that's right. Right on. And Heather, how did how did Vice President Harris handled the two big challenges she faced? Well, I think that she exactly what the others have said here. I think she handled all the details well, the yes and I think that's absolutely correct. And I also think that that just by walking out there the way that she did, she shook just she just strode over to Donald Trump shook his hands and let's have a good debate. She looked like a president. She looked like a president who was young, who was black, who was a woman, and there's nothing more different than that than Joe Biden than that. And I think that while accepting all of the, you know, his, you know, his the accomplishments of the administration and and being happy to be part of that while at the same time differentiating herself, just the fact of her and who she is and how confident she was. I think that said everything certainly in comparison to the last debate, which I think we do not go quite as well. Amen. I wish we could do this all night, but you guys have lives to get to. I'm John Fugle, saying so happy to welcome you to SiriusXM Progress' live coverage of Taylor Swift's inevitable endorsement of Kamala Harris and Tim Walls. And apparently there was a TV show earlier in the evening too. We are at 866-997-4748. The BITE was supposed to end at the half hour market, went on for quite a while, so our thanks to the panel for staying extra late. Right now, let me welcome back to the table Keith Price, comedian, actor, writer, radio star. Keith was the first openly gay black radio host at SiriusXM. He co-anchored the morning show on the late-limited channel OutQ. Be sure to catch his wonderful Broadway-focused Instagram, Keith Price's curtain call, comedy daddy. Happy debate night. What did you think? Wow. Well, the first thing I thought was, "I'm so glad this is over." No, you know, again, she did exactly what I thought she was going to do. Personally speaking, I'm glad that she was very poised at what was going on, but there is a part of me that would have loved just a little neck roll at one point somewhere in. I mean, she was very controlled. Wouldn't mean a neck roll. What is it for the late white people? What do you mean by that? For the straight guys? What do you mean by the neck roll? Let me tell you. Y'all been dealing with black women that tell you how to be. When you don't know how to act right, how they just kind of, and let me tell you it's something else. Oh, okay. He's doing a visual check for the radio. Right. Yes. They can't get their visual with my neck. I'm sorry. I got to push back on this because Kamala Harris had a certain kind of body language and it wasn't the neck roll. You know what it was? Right. It was the hand against the chest with the bemused look of how strange this man is across the stage. And I guarantee you that look of her fingers touching her collarbone is going to be the mean we see everywhere tomorrow, everywhere. I mean, Keith, look, what I didn't expect was I didn't see how she could get under his skin. Hillary Clinton couldn't do it. Joe Biden couldn't do it. God bless him. They tried. I mean, Joe Biden kind of got under his skin in 2020. But when she was saying people were leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom, I've talked with the military leaders, some of whom work with you and they say you're a disgrace and my favorite line of the night, they can manipulate you with flattery and favors talking about other, I mean to his face, he said, she, he's the thing is that she had to do the, the politically correct way to read a bitch. You know what I'm saying? She, she still got to read him, but she had to read him in a way that America won't think that it's just some angry black woman, which personally speaking, I would have enjoyed the angry black woman because so when I get it, yeah, I get it. I get it. I don't necessarily love it, but I don't love that look Barack Obama had to be the, the tough guy and take it over and over and over again, because he knew what would happen. If he gave into emotion, the way a mediocre white man is allowed to give into emotion. Exactly. Which is what we kind of saw. And I love it because what she did was she poked at him in the places that she knows. And most people know how to get him telling him that people don't like him. And he just thinks everybody loves him telling him that he's not bright or smart or intelligent or, you know, capable enough or mentally challenged less to be able to do the things that he's supposed to do. And every one of those sticking points, because he is such a narcissist, it was like a stab at him. And so she was able to stab him using, you know, I mean, and again, that is the beauty of the debate and that is the beauty of what you're talking about in terms of a leader that's able to really handle business and not lose their ish. Because honestly speaking, my, my watching him every time he would respond with the same old rhetoric and the same old things back and forth, I just, you know, there's a part of me just wants to look over just like Joe Biden did last debate was just got up already. You know, man, but what's interesting is is that it allowed, I guess those people, I'm dying to see what the undecided, the Trump's 2016, 2020, but not this time people. I want to, I want to know what it is that is still going to make them either not want to be bothered or be still attracted to him. Because those are the only two things that at this point, because honestly, logic, you know, good reasoning, you know, some rationale and something like this. Let me ask a million other question then, because we have a lot of riffraff who want to weigh in, but we're good at the phones. Two things, Keith, we always debate whether debates or endorsements can have an impact on a presidential election. What do you think is the impact of this particular debate and the particular endorsement by Taylor Swift that Jess came in? Wow. Well, I would say that this was a very good debate. And at this point now, to some degree, when you have candidates like this that are so diametrically opposed in everything, and we still are living in a country that still thinks what we're opposed to, is actually something that we should still be following and hanging on to, and letting them see what that looks like in a vacuum, because there was no audience to cheer him on, there was no, you know, because if he had had an audience, I know they said that that would make him more Trumpier, and they were kind of afraid of, they wanted to have that, I believe that the Kara Harris camp, one of that. And I was like, you have to let us watch him implode when he has nowhere to go, and basically corner him, because that's what it was. You've taken out the air of a narcissist, which is the attention. The only attention he's getting is from the people that want to grill him, and not the people that want to sit there and go, "I love you, I want you to take me to Mar-a-Lago." They don't have those people standing outside waiting for him in that audience, and so he's got to bring something to the table. And that's what we're seeing with all of these mediocre white men, I hate to say it. They have nothing to bring to the table. They don't have any flavor, they don't have any spice, they don't have any interesting things to say. It's a bunch of sad people. They have sewer, Keith. They have fear and scapegoating. That's what they have. But I'm glad that we can at least now see how a debate can fix that. But having, I was just watching MSNBC, they were doing their wrap up while I was waiting for you, and they were reading Taylor Swift's endorsement, and they said that within the time that she posted that endorsement to the time that was being read on television, it had already a million likes, which I mean, that's the world's floating by. But good idea. So it's a good night for Donald Trump and female voters, you're saying. It's a good night. Exactly. And they were pointing out something that I had not thought about, which is, Taylor Swift is what? 30? You know, she's not. She's 35, I think? Yeah. She's not a kid kid. The grown-ass woman with a full-on career single, well, technically still single at this point, and still childless. I mean, you're not single, but you know what I'm saying? She's not married, but she's childless, but she has maintained a career in power. And what they were saying is that she is the draw that maybe the white women that we seem to can't bring over into the voting poll or the voting cycle. The young ones. She's young ones, at least. The young ones, and it's the young ones' parents, that she's the big fan of, you know, the ones that are actually holding the vote that are like, well, my child seems to be inspired by this woman, and we're doing this, and look at how she's standing, and this is what we want my daughter to do. And so she's an influence in a way that the Democrat Party can't, the Democratic Party hasn't had. So... I completely agree. I'm ready for her. I think it's a good thing. Now, all the pressures on Beyonce, to top this endorsement, Keith, are you ready to speak to our evil army of the night? We have a gazillion listeners who want to weigh in on this, this, this murder we just watched, Dylan in New Mexico on line eight, you're on Sirius XM with a great Keith Price. Welcome to the triage after the brutality we just witnessed. Hello. It's everything I've been waiting for, the best line of the night is, wait, so let me get this straight. You still don't have a healthcare plan. Oh, wait. Oh, when I heard that, that just made my heart, I haven't been so happy in my life when I heard that. Yeah. That was so amazing. I got to give so much comment. I mean, props to the commentators, they fact checked from so much better than CNN. I never liked CNN, but after that last debate was CNN, I'll never watch better than CNN. And look, I mean, and by the way, let's be with the caveat that there are right-wing brothers and sisters are going to be furious at ABC News and David Muir. They're going to say, oh, they were so biased. They were so biased against it. It was three against one bitches sit down. Which of the fact checks do you specifically refute? Because the only way you can go after ABC is by defending Trump's lies. So friends tomorrow and your coworkers or right-wing friend on Facebook who can't spell your are trying to pull this shit about the three against one, ask them which fact check wasn't fair. Ask them and let them justify it. Let them let them back it up. I'm sorry. Go ahead, Dylan. Exactly. Not 100% agree. Two, just me being very progressive, two things I wish he could have emphasized on is one. There's only, Joe Biden has only had the least amount of death from war, semi-card troops, semi-card. And also, why didn't she say that, hey, I thought Mexico was going to build the wall when he was emphasizing on that one, the wall building. Beautiful. That would have been amazing. You know, he can't wish for the whole world. I mean, yeah. It was amazing. It was amazing. No, Keith. There's no more debate scheduled. There's a vice presidential debate, but I don't think man-baby is going to say yes to another one after this. Unless his ego is so bruised, he decides to come back even meaner, please let him want to. Please. I would love one of these. Oh, I could just get through all of October, doing it had another one of these to look forward to. All I kept thinking was down in the West Village and probably in West Hollywood when she did that last read about, how did you say, when he said, how did you say it, when she said that about your health care plan, you just could hear the fans popping, like the fans probably were like, let's go, girl, because that was a read. That was a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, Dylan, thank you so much for watching it. Thank you for joining us tonight. Dylan, it's great to hear from you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you, Dylan. When you go to Carolyn, who's calling from California on line nine, Carolyn, thank you so much for waiting on hold. You're on SiriusXM. Good evening. John, I met you briefly at San Francisco Social Liberal. Thank you for coming. I hope you can talk to you. Thank you so much. I had an amazing time. I wanted to say two quick things. First of all, Kamala was like, Barry White on ski smooth tonight. It was a cool work. Oh, are you going to steal that Keith or can I steal? We're going to steal that one, I think Barry White on skis. I think I like you. Go on, please. Continue. And then and also, I think that all the people who digest what's his name in sound bites and who watched the debate were finally able to see like him writ large, like mean, stupid, unintelligible, just like, you know, it's like a two by four up to the side of the head. Yeah. Oh, I think Kamala feels like she had a good night because she's already emailing me again, Keith. He emails this late. I text back. You still up, boo, but she's writing me again. So I guess you feeling good about it. Carolyn, thank you. What was the high point for you? Just the voting, just the poking. It was just so smooth. And oh my gosh, I think I have to watch it again just to figure out what was my favorite moment. But like, I was just like standing up and cheering. I just, I have to watch it again. I just do. And it's the Carolyn's point. This is the first debate I've thought about watching a second time and quite a while. I mean, why no while to me and I, you know, I don't even barely, I could barely watch it the first time. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm still traumatized by Trump lurking behind Hillary. Like Siri, I had to turn it off. I was like, Oh my God, like, yeah, my good. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah, the healing begin. The thartic cathartic. It's not working no more. Carolyn, thank you so much. It's so great to hear from you. I love you guys. Steve, thank you. I love you. Call back anytime. But I want to get to everybody. Keith. So I'm going to go through these really fast. Stephen Detroit on line six. Thank you for waiting. You're on with Keith Price. Hey, how you doing? Hey. Better now. How you doing? I'm doing say it for a square. Hey, Keith, I am so happy that you're on. I'm John. I love you. Thank you. I'm gonna say this. Keith, I want to say this. Did you say in yourself, you know, hey, in your Fred Samford voice when he said, Oh, she went to a sorority party. You dig dummy because you just got out all the pearls. Oh, hey, I'm a married man. And I live in a suburban white neighborhood. I got Trump flags everywhere and I'm a black man. And I got it all when you said that, I said, Oh boy, you just messed up. Is it? I just wanted to have your opinion on that. Keith, I just need to hear your opinion. Well, the idea that he's trying to say, well, she's off to some sorority party. Well, you're most those people when he says people kept saying, Oh, I just knew. I said, Oh, he messed up there. He messed. And there's something I'm not John. I want to say this. Okay. Black women, when you call one, you called them all. Yes, Jesus. And when he said you went to sorority party, he's going to get a sorority party. Oh, it's a good point. And I love it. I don't know. I was hanging with my friend. Honestly, I'm telling you, I've been hanging with my French friend tonight, Carafie, Hennessy, and I got to say the only go ahead. Go ahead. Well, I say the only way it could be any improved would be if he attacked Beyonce and the Beehive. That would be the only way. Oh my God. Oh, Lord Jesus help me. If it had been 10 minutes longer, he would have gotten there. He would have gotten there. He was close. He was close. You spin up by the flip. I said, Oh, this guy's. Yeah. He could have. He almost went after Beyonce, but he choked. He didn't know what to do. I'm telling you, look, you should not the floor with him. I mean, there's a there's a long orange greasy stain on the floor of that studio right now. I would have been happy watching her as VP. I would have been happy watching her as VP beat up JD Vance with a long eyeliner streak across the floor. But this was even sweeter. I'm telling you, look, I guarantee you, it's going to be pink and what's that pink and green, a pink and blue, pink, the AKAs, the AKAs, Delta's, Oh, yes, honey. And I am. Oh my Jesus. Hey, that whole, the whole black Greek culture now is going to come out on mass for him. He's going to have a, he's going to have the brothers with the Sigma's, the Alpha's, the Kappa, the size, they're going to all come out in support of her system. That's what happened now. You're going to a sorority party. It's like, you want to tell them, do you know that sorority party that she did go to probably had some of the most influential black people and black women working in this country right now. So he, he messed up. He messed up big time. You so right. You're Alec Downey. Listen to Alec down. He says Trump is so barking. RFK might eat him. Very good. Very good. I respect it. I'm in Detroit. Thank you for calling it. Hey, everybody. It's our boss. Chris Haussell. What'd you think Chris? Tell us about the debate. Oh, I mean, Trump is so backed in the corner right now after this debate. Pardon my French. I think he might hit the hard R before election day. Oh, you think? Yeah. I mean, he'll get close. He'll tease it. He might type it out. He's in the spin room right now. Harris, Harris after the, yeah, after the big Harris, she went to a rally. She went immediately to a rally. She's in the champagne or she's in the champagne room with the celebrity. She went back. She went immediately to a rally of supporters and gave a rousing speech and then said thank you. Good night. And then Trump is on the floor. He's not Mike. He's just shouting in the circle in the spin room. He says that he's seen polls saying that he won the debate 82 to 12 and oh, that's great. 75 to 25. And he's saying that Harris wants another debate because she was beaten so poorly to be badly tonight. Oh my God. It's so funny. Yes, everyone. You go to Twitter and just search Trump in spin room and just watch this man screaming without a microphone just shouting to anyone who will pick him up. Yeah. That's so spooky. You know, the cry of the narcissist, Sonny, she, I told you she rang that bell real cute with him. She rang his bell real cute. Thank you so much for calling. Let me go to Richard and Arizona on line seven. Richard, you're on with Keith. Welcome. Hey, guys, the joy in your voices is just magical. Thank you for that. But what I want to say, she eviscerated him with the general's remark. That was awesome. But I kind of wish there was a little more pushback like maybe Barbara Walters interviewing him where he lied and she said nothing didn't, you know, just snap back at him. You know, they did a little bit of fact checking, but his lies were just pretty much allowed to just go, you know, by the way, Trump Trump in the Trump in the spin room just announced that Harris lost this one. So she wants a second debate, but he doesn't know if he'll do it. That's what Trump is shouting. Anyone who will listen to him right now, but yeah, but yeah, if we could get Barbara Walters to do it, that would I would, that would be more beautiful. Well, you got to get her from the dead and sad to say no matter what, Donald Trump's not going to be seeing Barbara Walters anytime soon in this life or the afterlife. I think he's going to a different floor. Thank you so much. Oh, Keith, people are happy. Let's, you know, let, let, I don't know about Rachel in LA, maybe Rachel in LA is happy about tonight. Rachel online too. Welcome. Yes. Yes. I'm really happy. It's like what we've all been waiting for for someone to finally get this guy has come up and to his face. Right. Even though we wouldn't look at her. He couldn't look at her. He couldn't do it. Couldn't do it. That's what I, I don't understand. That's the best part. I mean, I mean, like, was he so furious or can he just not turn his neck at this point? Is he just like, like the, is the osteoporosis so bad he can't turn his neck without swiveling his entire torso? He's like Zoolander. He kept her to the left. He looked at him with a calm look of dominance the entire time he was speaking and he couldn't do it. And titty, too. I mean, he just gets scowling at the camera with do grief in his face. Like, that was going to do something. Like, so people should be scared that he's like scowling at the rest of us. He reminded me of Peter Boyle in Young Frankenstein. [LAUGHTER] Go, go, go. [LAUGHTER] I'm going to go. I'm going to go. I'm going to go. I'm going to go back to Chris. Go, go, go. Go, go, go. Chris, you, you. Chris, come out. Go, go, go. Chris, come out. Chris, come out. I just saw pictures of him on the floor. Well, like, it looked like no one even wanted to talk to him. It looked like he was just standing there. Because the people, like, they're there. His buddy R.F.K. Jr. is there. And everyone wants to talk to him. You know, because that Republican, Robert Kennedy Jr., who thinks climate change is a hoax and loves Roe v. Wade being overturned, that guy. That guy, Robert Kennedy. Oh, my God. Robert Kennedy Jr. The animal thing, he kept sticking a doubling down on the eating the pet. I know. Oh, Keith. I mean, like, literally all day long, we've seen the mainstream media point out that J.D. Vance is a goddamn racist liar, splirting a goddamn racist lie about Haitian immigrants eating cats in a certain Ohio town. And even the moderator brought up all, no police. The police say there have been zero reports of this, and then Trump just said it anyway. I mean, this was just vintage grandpa taking his dick out of the bus stop. That's, that's where it was. He couldn't stop. Like, it was a little bit, he gave him more time to respond to stuff like that. I mean, he had just hung himself the more time they gave him. Yes, right. You're right. By the way, too. What happened to that? I didn't feel like the mics were off. The mics were turned off because Donald Trump, unlike the last debate where they were turned off, Donald Trump had a lot more discipline this time. He couldn't do it. He was talking with this mic off and it was, I mean, I, I, I thought he'd do better than he did. Tim Miller of the bulwark, we just tweeted, I just spoke with Lindsey Graham in the spin room. He said the debate team should be fired and Trump was unprepared, quote, disaster end quote. So the question there is how long until Lindsey Graham comes out tomorrow morning and says Donald Trump dominated and looked presidential because you know by tomorrow he'll flip up on that. She, she do like to flip a turn, honey. She had to play on January 6, when he was like, I'm done with everything. Mm hmm. Wow. She doesn't know. She's a flip-flop of honey. Oh my goodness. I'm so glad they brought up January 6, and I mean, he got molded, he's molded. It was bad. Yeah. It was so satisfying. It was the first time I've actually really seen Donald Trump ask about a lot of these things by a journalist who wasn't giving him a pedicure at the same time. Rachel, you're the best. Thank you for calling. We got to hit a break. Keith, will you stay with us at the top of the ass? Yes, baby. I'm right. We'll be right back to take all your calls at 866-997-Grit. This is progress. What makes a life a good one? Is it the adventure you have or the friends you find along the way? Maybe it's pursuing your passion while striving to protect, defend, and save what you believe in every single day. So what makes a life a good one? In the Coast Guard, we think it's all of the above and more. But you'll have to find out for yourself. Visit gocoastguard.com to learn more. It's just in. According to our executive producer, Chris Housebelt, Democrats have pulled in 25 million in donations since 10 p.m. tonight. Wow. And I can guarantee that not one dime of that will ever go to one of Donald Trump's defense attorneys. Good evening. This is series six and progress at our post debate coverage with comedy daddy Keith Price. Keith, I may have just seen the best tweet of the night. Pamela Harris just killed a baby and its 78th year by my dad. I think we have a winner. I think we have a winner. That's a good one. That's a good one. Yeah. Do you think this is going to get people off the fence? Not people off the fence, but we'll just get people off the couch. I don't think they're trying to get undecideds anymore. I think they're trying to get people who who would vote Democratic motivated to go and vote Democratic. And I think tonight she made her case a lot stronger. I don't know who he might have won over that wasn't already on his team tonight. Well, I hope so. I truly hope so. You know, and the thing is, is that if it's enough to get them moving, I feel like that that convention, the Democratic convention this year really did put a spark into people. I mean, even you, I saw it in your pictures, you know, like it was a spark that was, it was very palpable for those of us weren't there to feel. And so this is, this is, I think, part of the, that, that blog, like it's coming out more through this, these things and hopefully it's just going to, you know, exponentially grow over the next few weeks. It's been like three weeks since we got back from Chicago and I still feel like I'm having an MDMA crash. All right. Let's try to get a couple more calls in in our final minute Stacy in Oregon on line six. You're on Sirius X and with Keith. What did you think? Oh, hi Stacy. I think she did. Hi. How are you guys? Great. Yeah. So I think she did fabulous. I think she stirred him up in the right direction to fail miserably and a couple of, a couple of things. I mean, there were opportunities for her to laugh a little more, which he loves being laughed at. Don't you know, also the DOJ did not indict him. The people did. Thank you very much, grand jury saw evidence that you get corrected on that. Go ahead. Yeah, that point could have been made. She knows that very well and his handlers have no control over on the nurse from Oregon. You know me anyway, he is a pathologic narcissist in the start of dementia and it's clearly being seen and if mainstream media does not point it out after this, well, we know what they are. And we know exactly Stacy and I thank you so much for calling. It's great to hear from you. I'll get one more call and really quick, Terry in Texas on line two. Welcome, Terry. What did you think? Hey, I thought it went pretty well. I was really looking forward to seeing Vice President Harris really go at him and challenge him on various issues and his lack of any policy position. I thought she did that pretty well as far as, you know, really showing the contrast. I agree. One thing I was hoping to see that I wish there had been more of this, more of her goading him into the personal attacks and getting petty and that type of thing like he really loves you, dude, wait till tomorrow, wait till tomorrow, he's, he's got a full diaper now and it's going to stay full all week, my friend. I get what you're saying, but I think she provoked him exactly enough to win and have Taylor Swift close the deal. Hey, thank you so much for calling. I'm Terry. I really, we didn't get to your call. I'm so sorry. We'll talk to you tomorrow night. Get your thoughts then. Keith, how do the riff-raff follow you? They can find me on Twitter at comedy daddy and Keith Price comic.com for everything. I want to thank Thea Harper and Chris Halsel for being the best damn producers in the game. I want to thank Areva Martin, Heather Digby-Barden and the great Allison Gill for joining us and Keith Price as well. I want to thank Kamala Harris and most of all, I want to thank Donald Trump as a fan of comedy. We'll be back tomorrow and see you then. Keep a tune to progress all day because I know you'll want to do some processing yourself. God knows Donald Trump's not going to start. I'm John Fuegle-Sang. Thank you for listening. Peace. Peace. [MUSIC PLAYING]
