How to fix one plus six battery drains quickly. The Hatch 1 plus six is a flagship phone release this year which has a solid design and comes with several excellent features. The phone uses an aluminium frame with Gorilla glass on both the front and back. It has a 6.28 inch optic ammo display which is great to use for viewing various multimedia content. And the hood is a Snapdragon 845 processor which when paired with 8GB of RAM allows the device to run multiple apps smoothly. Before troubleshooting this particular issue it's best to check if your phone is running on the latest software version. If an update is available then I suggest that you download and install it in your phone. Once this is done proceed with the steps listed below. Check if an app you downloaded is causing the problem, if you experience this problem right after downloading a certain app then this app might be the culprit. Apps are not created equally as there are some that require less power to work while others are just power hungry. To check if it is an app that is causing this problem you will need to start the phone in safe mode since only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run in this mode. Long press power off button in your phone, you will see this message on the screen, reboot to safe mode. Tap ok to enter 1+6 into safe mode, your phone will now boot in safe mode. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by a downloaded app. Get out what app this is and uninstall it. Your charger might not be working, if your phone seems to drain quickly after charging the device overnight then it's worth checking if the charger that you are using is indeed working. Sometimes this charger can become faulty and will not fully charge the phone. By using a different wall charger and USB charging cord to charge the phone, reduce background battery drain, your phone will have certain services that will be running in the background even if you are not using the device. You can go to the battery settings then then disable certain battery intensive apps from running in the background. Perform a factory reset, one last troubleshooting step that you can perform is a factory reset. This will revert your phone back to its original factory condition. Take note that your phone data will be deleted in the process so make sure to create a backup copy before proceeding with this step. Go to the start screen, drag the arrow symbol up, tap settings, tap backup and reset. Tap backup my data and choose an option. Tap factory data reset, enable erase internal storage, tap reset phone. Tap erase everything. All data and settings saved on the OnePlus 6 will be deleted. The OnePlus 6 will automatically reset and reboot. Once the OnePlus 6 has been rebooted, you might have to reconfigure certain settings, such as the date and time, Wi-Fi, your email account, and your data settings for internet and MMS. After the reset has completed try to check if the issue still occurs, in case it does then your phone might need a new battery. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center. (soft music)
