How to restart your Samsung Galaxy S8 in safe mode it is very important that you know how to reboot your S8 into the safe mode especially if the problem appears like to be caused by a third party app. By booting your device in this mode you're actually temporarily disabling all third party apps leaving all built-in apps and services running in the background. Assuming the problem is due to a third party app it shouldn't occur when the device is in safe mode that being said here's how you boot your phone in this mode. Turn the device off press and hold the power key past the model named screen. When Samsung appears on the screen release the power key. Immediately after releasing the power key press and hold the volume down key. Continue to hold the volume down key until the device finishes restarting. you
