It looks like bare one and everything's okay on the injury front So Kev, let's get into him and I think the only place to start is Harvey Elliot Who sustained an injury away winning the number 21s. It looks like he's fractured his foot and I'm not medical expert Kev. Are you having a clear? What the hell long EBO for? But um, it's definitely a loss for Liverpool and it's a big blow for Harvey Elliot who I taught had a really good preseason Has only really got a look in. Um, a home to Brentford. I think was the only time I've seen him on the pitch this season But I always got the feeling that he was holding slot was holding a couple of players back for this kind of running games coming in They were coming into now, but it's a big blow from Kevin and because you know, we've had more serious injuries in the past This one. I'm not too sure exactly how I happened, but for Liverpool and for Harvey Elliot, it's just a blow It's something we could have done where they you know With the numbers we have and the mental games we've come up. I'm sorry Yeah, I think it's one of those that when it any time there's a An early international break started the start of the season Your first hope is everyone comes back fit at the end of the day. There's an awful lot of football coming up in the next between now and the next international break He would have had played significant amount of minutes but it's just one of those things it's it's football it happens players do get injured and That's why we have a squad and at the end of the day if he misses out It's an opening for Tyler Morton Curtis Jones is coming back. He's he's available If there's any position in the midfield that you were going to sacrifice That would be the only one that you would look at and say okay. We can we can accommodate that one Because there are other options there if it was deeper then it's it's a bigger problem But as it stands at the minute he didn't play any significant minutes in the first three games of the season and We played really well. It's unfortunate for it, but at the end of the day When he comes on against Brentford he actually goes up front and in the front and he comes out Yeah, it goes off on the wing doesn't he? Yeah, Brian says injury is bad injury is bad And it was it is a put tomorrow pressure on Salza to stay fit and there's also not many natural replacements for that role And like I said, it was interesting when he come on against Brentford He comes on they actually bring in the one in the midfield before him in that game and then he comes on and plays it on instead of Salza goes out on the right hand side and It was weird because I watched him in preseason and he was like parrot at midfield tree and he was he was one making loads and loads of room for making loads of room for himself and like massively involved with maul Salza a lot across the preseason and you know getting Getting chances and opens and stuff like that. God mules is Elliot and John the two injury prone to a lawyer over the court's disease. I'm not too sure if Elliot's injury record is bad I think he's had a horrific injury Which happened that late and I can't remember him being really injured since And this one isn't this one isn't where he's kind of all look he's done is growing again He's fractured the full this is he kicked something or someone's kicked him, you know, and that's you can It's football at the end of the day. There's gonna be impact if players get impact injuries That's one thing if you've got a player in your squad that's constantly getting problems with the hamstrings Or with a groin or with a calf or something like that. That's a different issue That's it. That's a problem But if it's impact injuries, it's unfortunate, but you're never going to go through a season where Everyone is going to be available all the time. You're going on the ground. I do agree on the court of Johnson I think what was John's picks up these things all the time. Yeah, and of course he's back in full training He has been back in full training since the best thing Yeah, but the best thing that's going to happen for Curtis Jones is playing games Once once you get into once he gets into a rhythm of playing games and match fitness He's been absolutely fine. It was open till the top of the Tottenham game last year and that was an impact injury, wasn't it? So it's I I think the thing with him you have to get him playing and I I disagree with someone who said there that we don't have Covering that area. I think as an advanced date. It's probably the one position on the pitch where we do have cover You know, I think when you when you look at the Demille field and we're gonna grant the players that players and we're really impressive and fairness to them over the international break Ellie always feels like in fairness I know where the Saba soy shells coming from because Saba soy feels like he's the most advanced of the tree And that's where Elliot may go in, you know the sort of way and it's it is a blow. Don't get me wrong, but I know where you're coming from I'm not saying I prefer to lose earlier. I'm saying if you're gonna lose one I don't want to be grabbing bridge at the minute and I don't want to be my color star I definitely don't want it to be so I was like but I get to show that I put it's putting more and more pressure on these Trey to be fit because what's around them for me is Earlier who's now injured and no fault of his own you've got Jones who's in and out all you know There's an injury here in there and you've endo who most people feel doesn't Do in this sit so it what we want to be done. You know the start away No, that's it's it's it is it is a blow. I don't know how long it's gonna be. I haven't have you seen rumors on Six to eight weeks. I don't expect to see a senior player a senior first 11 or First or second choice sub involved in that West hand game apart from maybe being on the bench If we're in trouble that they can come on and get you out of it So they'll be looking at that one game as say like, okay, you might be on the pitch or you might be sorry You might be on the bench, but that's kind of like your rest day You know your rest game So you look at the first three games use the West hand game to hopefully make heavy rotations and then look at the next three games to be Using as much as he can with the first 14-15 players for those last three games as well and then you're into the next international brave then Do you know what I mean? I know he's got the kind of no fear thing Because he's so young But you wouldn't want to see him playing a significant amount of minutes this season. I don't mind it playing. There's gonna be wrong I wouldn't mind him around the match day squad involved off the bench now and again, but I Wouldn't want to see him playing significant minutes, but Tyler Morton, especially after the loan spells that he's at the championship That hardens anyone up, you know, and you do get used to people from care Her relentless the championship is as a as a as a Lee. My whole team with it is player power is quite strong and I think of queuing kelahar had a went to the club with the And he said he told the club and what he wanted to do and he's going to be insane for the last world, but Alison knew about this guy my my dad's really coming in and if he knew kelahar now now cut You know Alison's quite open and saying I'm really happy about it. I think he's a really good goalkeeper Alison's going to look and go and we all know where this gone 2024 2026. I can leave this club. No one will fucking you know Have a gummy about it. We'll get a good money and I can move on if that's what he wants to do Liverpool have made a plan for that, but when queuing kelahar on coin I kind of looked at and taught to myself Does an element here where the club are being a bit of a prick here? I'm saying look I want to go I've genuinely no more interest in playing with this football club I love it, but I know more interest in playing with this football club because what I'm gonna do now is sacrifice one more year of my Of my you know career To say here to be a genuine stopgap Until you bring the next goal in that's going to take over from Alison because everyone sees it playing his day What's going on here? And I I feel sorry for him.
