This is Mule 2, Ears Edition, your daily dose of Alamo Heights Junior School news, updates and needs to know. From the first bell to the last class, Mule 2, Ears Edition has you covered from ear to ear. Good morning Mules, I'm Ginger. And I'm James. Today's Friday, September 13th, 2024. What a great day to Mule. We have a lot going on today, so let's get started. First up, today is the Student Interest Group Fair. Ginger is one of the Student Interest Groups that will be at the fair. I'm glad you asked. The groups will be Student Council, Cooking Club, 6th Grade Girls Service Club, Unify Champion Special, Olympic Science Olympiads, UIL Academic Odyssey of the Mind, Robotics and Small Animal Appreciation Club. Thanks, that's a lot of interest, that reminds me. Start with, hello week is starting on Monday. Fine, what do we wear? Well, give everyone a seat at high five and wear a Hawaiian t-shirt to say Aloha, or hello to new friends. Awesome, I can't wait. Speaking of that, if you were a 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl, listen up. If you enjoy going on ventures, love learning leadership skills, and if you want to explore new things from camping to archery, robotics and cooking, personal finance to rock climbing, and so much more, you'll want to go to the welcome meeting with Gute Troop 8090. I'm obviously not a girl, but that sounds like fun. Is there more information for the girls listening? Yes, the welcome meeting is on September 15th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with patrols and the troop with openings for 6th and 7th grade and 8th grade girls, mentored by a few, mentored by a slew of fun high schoolers with great leadership skills. If you're intimidated by any of this, don't be. None of us gouts knew how to do these things when they started, but a supportive troop like 89g, we're happy to help you get there, too. Wow, that's a lot of information. Thanks, Gentry. No problem. Next up, the Genie School celebrates dyslexia awareness month by ordering a t-shirt, and if you would like to order one, make sure to do it the 4th September 20th, so it comes in and you can proudly wear it on October 4th. Cool. Shout-out for Woodridge for letting this user's spirit idea. That was nice of them. It sure was. Only on the other hand, if you would like to order a yearbook, they're only $45. That's a great price. Also, listen, if you're an NJHS, please remember that your membership dues activity fees are due for the 2024 school year, before September 20th. You can give $25 to the sponsors Ms. Mendoza or Ms. Zorn. Thanks for the reminder. On that note, remember, tomorrow, there is a cross-country meet. The time is to be determined. Thanks for letting me know. Thanks for letting me know. Hey, what was the answer for the last riddle? The answer was a bank. I wouldn't have guessed that. Here is today's riddle. What band you can't play music with? Music. I'm Clueless. We'll find out on Monday's podcast. Have a great Friday, everyone. And don't forget to be amazing. Music. Music. (upbeat music)
