SMEs are now in the midst of the pandemic “hang over”. Inflation, rising interest rates and debts long overdue are now being called in which makes for double trouble. Meanwhile, businesses who have emerged from the pandemic in good shape are at risk of contagion where their customers who haven't fared as well start to struggle to pay within terms.
