Locked On Cougars - Daily Podcast On BYU Cougars Football & Basketball

Locked on BYU - September 4, 2018 - Former Cougars in the Pros & Squally Canada

Locked on BYU for September 4, 2018 began with a look at the eight former Cougars who made opening week rosters in the National Football League. Host Jake Hatch touched on each player and shared some thoughts on the storylines surrounding them, including Kyle Van Noy, Fred Warner, Taysom Hill and Jamaal Williams, among others (2:56).  A number of other former Cougar players found themselves on the unemployment line after roster cutdowns over the weekend so Hatch talked about those guys and where some of them have signed as the NFL season approaches this weekend (12:49). In the final segment of the show, Hatch examined what senior running back Squally Canada did against Arizona and why it's continuation of what Canada showed down the stretch a season ago. Hatch looked at the statistics and what it is about Canada that leads him to believe that the senior from Milpitas, CA could be the lead back to get BYU to bowl eligbililty and beyond in the 2018 season (20:16) Learn more about your ad choices.
