[MUSIC] >> Well, the Illini volleyball team off to a 2-0 start wins on the road against Cincinnati and Bowling Green, both of those matches taking place in the State of Ohio. The Illini will host Illinois State Tuesday night tonight at 7 at Huff Hall in Champaign. The Illini had a bunch of aces 12 in the win on Saturday at Bowling Green. And here's Coach Chris Thomas on the good start for the Illini. >> Yeah, I told the team, those first weekends, I've been coaching 16 years, 17 years now, whatever it's been, and it's always the first weekend jitters is a real deal, right? And it's the team that can settle in the quickest and kind of just play their game is usually the one that comes out on top. And so, we've always had pride in ourselves as being a really good serving team and we are a really good serving team this weekend. I thought actually one of the better serving performances I've seen over the weekend since I've been here. And that's saying a lot because we've had some good serving teams. So, that was really good, you had Brooke with 10 aces and that's really good. Hidden in consistently, you know, practice, she hadn't been quite as consistent, but she had it well in the game, which is good. And Avery had some great serves, Raina, Caroline, Kristi, I'm forgetting a server in there, but everyone did their job from the service line. So it was really good to see. >> Again, the match with Illinois State tonight at 7 p.m. The Illini football team, of course, back in action on Saturday night after the win over Eastern Illinois, they'll take on the Kansas Jayhawks. That'll come up Saturday night at 6 in Champaign.
