Tua Tagovailoa endures third documented concussion of his career
[MUSIC] Miami Dolphins quarterback to a Tonga Byloa left Thursday night's game against the Buffalo Bills after a hit to the head that left him with a concussion. Tonga Byloa went down while running on a fourth down keeper late in the third quarter. After he lowered his shoulder and dove head first into the arm of Bill Safety de Mar Hamlin. He spent a couple of minutes on the ground before sitting up and eventually walking to the sideline. The Dolphins announced a short time later, Tonga Byloa had suffered a concussion. The quarterback left with the Dolphins trailing 31 to 10, which ended up being the final score. He was 17 for 25 or 145 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. After the game, Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel would not address whether tool would go on injured reserve saying it's more about getting a proper procedural evaluation tomorrow. The farthest thing from my mind is timeline, said Mike McDaniel. Tonga Byloa has endured three documented concussions in his career. The other two occurred during the 2022 season and the Dolphins elected to shut him down for the season after his second, his past off season.
