Keep What You Earn

Reflecting on the Journey from Employee to Entrepreneur with Mike DeRose

Broadcast on:
29 Mar 2022

I am excited to welcome Mike Derose to the podcast. Mike works alongside his wife Jess Glazer building a seven-figure business while also living life on their terms. While Jess is usually front-facing and coaching her clients, Mike is working the magic behind the scenes as the CFO, managing the financials and operations of the business.

Mike and Jess spent the last year traveling the country in an RV and building their business together from the road. Mike left his corporate job in New York to work with Jess full-time in her business. In our interview, we'll unpack what making that decision was like, the lessons learned on the road since going full-time into entrepreneurship, and Mike and I both discuss our philosophies around business, entrepreneurship, and a little bit of the mindset stuff that it really takes to make that transition from employee to entrepreneur.

If you are working a corporate job and you want to road-map your way to getting out, this is a great episode for you.
