There has been a rising chorus demanding accountability for Donald Trump and company for their many crimes in violation of federal law. Both Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Eric Swalwell are on record calling for a presidential crimes commission or task force to investigate and prosecute Trump. The Boston Globe recently published a six-part series arguing in favor of prosecution the criminal former president as the only way to save our democracy. Justice is a team sport. We The People can't just sit on the sidelines and hope for the best. We must get in the game. One concrete way to do that is to sign a letter/petition that already has been signed by more than 200,000 Americans urging Attorney General Merrick Garland to establish a task force to investigate and, where the evidence supports it, prosecute all crimes committed by Donald Trump and his criminal associates.
