The camera swoops down from the radiated clouds onto the remains of the city of Parkersburg, West Virginia, which is now called Parker. You see a small, thriving fishing community right off the Ohio River a few miles from the state border. Standing outside of Parker City Hall, we see Sam talking with a bald, older woman wearing a headdress that has a strange scientific shape that crosses over itself several times. What is Sam and this woman talking about? Let's see, I think I might take some pine needles. Maybe I'll stop by, hook up a map or two. A map or two? Yeah. Well, whatever you decide to add them will guide you. Oh yeah, absolutely, do you think there's blank maps? Do you like paper? Yes. Yes, I believe Father Abraham should have some in his commissary. Yeah, I think that'd be good. I have the normal map, and then I bring a blank map, and then I can add the stuff, add the stuff that I see. Yes, and remind me why you're doing this again. Well, you know, I just thought it's about, well, I'm 19 now, and I haven't really made my place here in the community, and I just think that I should do something big and important like Dad. When you say Dad, you see she, normally she's very stoic, but you see a look of anger wash over her face for a split second. Yes, your father, he went on a great mission from the Adam. He was supposed to have been back, but he is not. Well, I'm sure whatever he's doing, it's real great, and he's needed much more where he is than with us. It better be. Oh, I feel it. He's doing good things, and you know. You see, she breaches into her backpack and pulls out a Gamma Gun for you. This is the first Gamma Gun I used when I was about your age, and I want you to have it. It's better than the beat up one you were using prior. Oh, well, thank you. You know this means a lot to me. Of course, brother Sam. Thank you, mother. You see, she gives you a tight nod and turns around and walks back into City Hall. Take a big, deep breath of that West Virginia air and just broaden my shoulders and get ready for my journey. And as you're heading towards the general store to get paper. Black maps. Black maps. A small ghoul child comes up to you wearing similar robes to you except smaller, you know. The stitch together, brown robes, very minimalist. She has little like face tattoos or representing of like Adams and stuff. You know, she's older than you. She's been around for a long time, but she still is a child. You know that she is one of the most prized citizens of Parker because she was there before the war. And she goes, "Well, you go as Sammy. Can I come?" Oh, precious sister. You are much needed here. In my absence, I know you'll take real good care of the people. Yes, I'm really good at getting him rad rats. But I'm on a journey. I think the way of Adam is just calling me and it's leading me. I'm heading out to Chicago to find my dad. Oh, well, if you find your father, make sure you bring him back because he never finished a bedtime story he was telling us kids, and I really want to know where the mutated human ended up. Like, did he cross the river on top of the deathclaw or not? Like, what happened? I'll bring him back where I'll try at least. I'll do what I can. And if I can't get him back, I'll make him write down the story in an empty book. Okay. She just sprints off. You get your items and you head towards the cantina or the bar. You see there is a small caravan of followers of the apocalypse that are coming through that offer to take you to Chicago with them. Hello, and welcome back to Grim Encounters A, a campy sci-fi tabletop actual play using the 2D20 Fallout RPG system by Modiphius set in the lovely radiated world of Chicago. My name is Norr. I will be your overseer for this little stent, this little, this little, little time. And your players are Robert playing Speed Demon, Derek's playing Doc Chrome. And Anna playing Brother Samson. We did it. We did an episode. How did you guys feel? You guys good? I'm excited to be back. I spent so long as I was telling Robert before this started, I have spent far too long and too much energy coming up with things for Doc Chrome. I'm so excited. I'm excited too. So we need really bad stuff to happen so you guys are hurt. Well, make it happen overseer. I can do that. Well, okay, well, it looks like my sci-fi future printer is going off. And let me see. Oh, there's some paper. Oh, here. Oh, it's green and it burned my finger a little bit. Let me see. Oh, it's a trans, oh my god, wait, a holotape just filled out. Oh my god, it's a holotape from Dax. Okay, let's just pop this in here. All right, so hey, welcome every back to Friday game nights. It's good to see everyone here. I see we got a little crowd out there. It's good to see everyone out there. Who wants to do the recap for session two we had here? Mavis, Raph, Wesley, I mean, I guess I can take it. You got it, Raph. All right. You guys got hurt and Doc Rome healed you up because that's what I do. And then we made our way out and I broke into a bar because I can do that. And oh, and we ran into another robot and when we ran into the robot, I brought him back to life. He started his shop back up, his bar, he sure did. And then, oh, we saw there was a rad, rad roach, is that what that is? Yeah. Yeah, there was a dead one, yeah. And then I think that was pretty much it, wasn't it? We went to the hotel motel. You went to the red rocket? Red rocket. That's it. Yeah. Red rocket. You guys got some loot. Andrea, a spicy of the, yeah, followers of the apocalypse had fixed the carriage. You guys were ready to head out again. Right. I remember. So yeah, I guess we'll just hop right back in there. All right. I'm ready. Ellie, did you have any questions for the world? Oh, I mean, why do we keep running into all these weird like NPCs? Why are there NPCs in the world? Yeah, no, like just like the weird ones. Well, I mean, there is fallout, so. Okay. I guess that makes sense. Yeah, they've all had like, you know, constant trauma of the wasteland burning down on them and then there's flying bugs that eat them. Okay. I see. Keep up the good work. We'll just hop in. Okay. If I answer my question, we left you guys right as you were hitting as you were about to hit like the city limits of Chicago. So like, like the suburban city limits, not even necessarily like the city proper, but most of these buildings are kind of just, they were, they were took them from the damage. The sun is almost setting and the heat is starting to drop down. So it's about like six p.m. six p.m. six, seven p.m. It's like it's going to get going to be getting dark soon. And the thing about the wasteland is the dark is so dark because there's not many lights left in the city, like there's some in the settlements, but it's not like how it used to be back before the bombs fell. So you have a few choices of how to proceed here. You can pick, you can break camp on the highway or excuse me, on the interstate. You can break off the interstate to find a ruined building to stay in, which I'll have you roll for or you could push through the night to get into Chicago. But just in mind, it will be about 15 hours until you reach the heart. And then it's another 16 to scrap yard, 16 or 17 to scrap yard. So and that's just because you guys are on foot. That's truly the only. So yeah, what would you guys want to do? I mean, Andrea is kind of talking with you guys saying she's like, yeah, well, I mean, we could do any of those. We should be fine. Whatever you want to do. I mean, obviously if we push through the night, we will be tired. Not going I'm not going to the night. I do not fear the dark. Yeah, no, no, I agree with Damien. Yes. I think we should probably maybe find somewhere building off off the sides and be a little more safe. Yeah. Oh, your as you guys are preparing that, Damien, you're from these parts. Are the cryptid stories true? All of them. Because I know remember reading that there is some sightings of a mothman at some point. Um, this doesn't I just say I believe they're all true just because you never know what you going to find out there. I mean, look at me. Oh, yeah. Mothman's real. Yeah. What? What? Yeah. All the time. I see them all the time. I have no document in cases of a Mothman on top. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. It's like described as like looking at a radiated moth the size of a bus that swoops out and picks people up. I mean, I believe it. You never know. You believe or you are certain. No, it's certain. I am most interested in this specimen in Mothman. Oh, yeah, that I was looking up cryptids for Illinois and there's been rumors of Mothman being cited in Chicago, but it's like a different mothman like not the same one. Yeah. Yeah. There's also a couple other cryptids I didn't know about that I'm like, Oh, okay. That one's awful. Let's use. Let's put that guy in here. Um, because there's cryptids and fallout, so but they're always like, it was actually a goat that got, I mean, yeah. Um, all right. So what are you guys doing? You breaking on the interstate or are you going to try and find a ruined building? I'm looking for a ruined building. Okay. So I need it's going to be something with survival. Um, I'm going to say perception survival. Remind me how I'm willing this again. Yes. So just so you, you got it too. It's always the derivative skills that you're, you roll. So like if you did, you were like small guns, it's always small guns and agility or whatever. Okay. Perception and endurance. Right. Right. Well, that maybe. Yeah. Survival and endurance. Yep. Yep. And then you want to, you want to roll below it. I believe. Okay. So you want to 20. Yeah. You will bar below. So that's an eight. And you roll 2d 20. It's a two. Yep. Okay. It's always two unless you spend action points and you can get it. Right. Okay. Okay. You got two successes. One success. One success. All right. Yeah. That's a 13. Yeah. You break off. Um, and as Andrea and, um, a couple of. The other people who aren't injured in the cart begin like getting the carriage off the interstate because the interstate's well maintained and where you're at right now. From the, uh, from your family, um, but like the rest of it's not. So just there's holes and shit everywhere. Um, so as they're doing that, you're looking around, what kind of thing are you looking for? Exactly. Uh, a building that's going to basically how, be able to house all of us. I probably, wait, what did we search last time? I read rocket. Okay. Um, I don't want to find another one of those. I mean, I would like to find another one of those. Yeah. I'd probably look for one of those. If, if possible, seem like they're on every corner. Okay. Um, yeah. Let's see if I another one, but it's like completely looted. So there's not going to be any loot there, but it's, it has a garage where you could stuff the carriage and, and okay, there's, and there's enough room where you guys, it's not going to be comfortable. But we can get everything inside and high. It's not going to be out in the elements. Yeah. Perfect. So what are we looking for? All right. Um, so who is anyone to take watch? I can do that. That's right. You don't sleep. I don't sleep. Okay. Um, I just let them lock themselves in and just go around the perimeter. Just this occasionally stopping to like pick up a rock to see if it's anything. Yeah. It hasn't changed. There's like a, like a beetle that's like, it's just, or it's, it's big, but it's not like meat, like scary, big and you're like, interesting and you accidentally squish it. Oh. So long. It's like two hours. Just watch this beetle. Just pushing shit. Okay. So let's see what would be role would be something with perception. Um. So I guess if we're, we're doing a perception at night, we would need a, it would be survival and perception. Okay. Um, and do you have night vision on your thing? Um, no, but I lower all perception roles. Um, that rely on sight is spelled by one. So okay. Well, it's, it was going to be a two. So you had to do difficulty one. Yeah. Yeah. Come on. Ooh. That's credit. Is that a credit? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I forgot that that was a one. Yeah. Yeah. I don't look earlier. Cause I'm like, what is that similarly? Yeah. I don't know. He's on the other side. Okay. So you get an AP. Ooh. Um, is it an AP? So you see a lingering in the dark, you see a couple, like mutated, um, like dogs that are kind of prowling around. Oh, but they, they seem like they're sniffing and looking around, but obviously your presence is dissuading them a little bit. Because you're not meat. Yeah. Um, so you do see them. They're, they're kind of like walking around, trying to see if they can see anybody else. But, okay. So you do with what you would do with that. Nothing. Just keep, keep monitoring it. Yeah. Occasionally you hear like, ooh, ooh, ooh. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Uh, let's say four hours passes. Give me one more roll to, to end the night here. Same one. Difficulty one. Uh, five. So that is another success. The dogs have left at this point and, uh, you don't see anything else, um, pretty lucky with, with finding where you did, um, if you would have been outside, those dogs definitely would have attacked the camp. So hey, all right. So everyone's waking up in the morning. Who wakes up out of YouTube first? Me. Probably. Yeah. Yeah. What do you do? Uh, I sit and stare at Damon. Damon, you wake up to a young man staring at you. Oh, geez. Oh, the morning, uh, can I help you? Do you always cry in your sleep? I cry in my sleep. Sometimes. What did you dream about? I honestly don't remember my dreams. Sometimes I dream about drowning. So it's a hopeful dream. It is. You see, Andrea is like walking up to you guys as we have these conversations. She goes, Oh, all right. And she hands each of you, um, like a, a cup of coffee that she has brewed. And, um, like a, like a, like some, like some, like a ration or something, like a mute fruit or something for you guys to eat for breakfast. Um, yeah, you ever had coffee? No. Perfect. Damon takes the coffee and the food. He's like, can we not have any, uh, like crazy conversation before the coffee? This coffee, I thought there was a bed with extra water. Still drinking it though. No, this, this is good stuff and it'll keep you going all day. Well, I'll probably keep you going all day. I need like these four pots of this stuff. Oh, do you need mine? No, no. Go ahead. Enjoy it. Well, it's hot. I think it's not as hard of a radiation though. You're just disappointed. It isn't radiated. Yeah. I actually coffee does do something. So I will, I added coffee as a home brew item, because how could you not have Chicago without coffee? I just, you know what I mean? Like it's, it's like having New York without coffee. Like that's fucking insane. And I think for food, it affects you just the same as everyone else. I'm pretty sure that's ready. Oh, right. It just can't. It just just can'ts. Okay. Yeah. I mean per the lore, it's not, but per player, just because it would be, that would not be fun. And if it's not, I'm, I'm saying it. The Kims makes sense, but so whoever drank it, oh, it is, it is, it is, it is irradiated. Yes. Radiated. Yeah. I did make it. It's me feel real. And here's why you get in game plus three AP for eight hours. And if that's too much, we will adjust it, but I have not tested this shit. So, yeah. So three AP. Yeah. So you take three, we keep them separate from your, I don't have any. So it's lovely. And everyone takes, let's see, I'm going to roll a one D one dot combat die takes two radiation. No, I don't. You take two radiation. All right. What do I mark that? I think it's just damage. So you just take two from your health, where do we put the radiation? I think, I think it is just damage. No, I'm pretty sure it's just damage. It's, well, it's, it lowers your maximum health. Yeah. Yeah. Just, just, there's that box is big enough for in current HP that you can put two radiation damage, but you have that ability that lets you use it in combat. Yeah. So how do you feel when you, when you drink this irradiated super juice? Like my insides are being ripped apart. I feel so good. Can't wait to mend them back together. You see, um, radiation, symptoms, and sickness include nausea, fatigue, hair loss. I am sorry. You see, Andrea is finishing her cough. She goes, yes. Um, yeah, do we want, I have some diluted rataways, do we want to, do you want to take some of that off or? No, ma'am. Okay. This is the way. Yes. You see, she like has like a 100 yard stare of what she saw in Parker, like nothing really bad, but just weird enough to be a little traumatizing and you see a bunch of everyone else who drank coffee just takes part of a diluted rataway to get rid of the irradiation. And you guys head off. Um, you guys got a good, a good, a good, a good march ahead of you. Um, as you're walking you hear, um, Andrea asks dot chrome, uh, did you see anything in the night? Was something hunting or any, any radiers or anything like that? There were some type of canines. Oh, I'm, I'm using a dog pack, snipping about, well, good thing we, we went inside then. Yes. They're pretty nasty. It's, it's not that they're, they're crazed. They're just feral. I see. By this point, because they don't, there's not much food. And interestingly, I found a large beetle. Okay. Where is it? I squished it. On purpose? No, I was checking on how much pressure it could take before it succumbed. He was just a look of like her mouth drops open. All right, and she just like, okay, and then she just like kind of like walks faster. Oh, you got to get any more coffee. I, I finished this one. I just, just sip on it. If not, that's cool. Oh, oh yeah. I mean, yeah. She just, she just gives you a thermos of it and she goes, oh, yes, I forgot. Um, radiation doesn't, it helps you. Yeah. Yeah. I just need a little more kick. Because I had a friend who suffered, who, who went through the process of a qualification. We left him back in West Virginia, but I see he, he would always do the extremely irradiated jobs for us. And he never seemed bothered by it. So, oh yeah, those are, those are easy. Not a problem in the world. He said it tickled. Yeah. And he's kind of fun and feeling. It's interesting, would you like to detail your going on to me as we walk? Sure. What do you want to know? Everything. Oh, about start from the beginning. I am recording now. Well, I woke up and, like this, it was a lot of, it was like a polar rate of like radiated water that it just kind of woke up in. I see. Yeah. Yeah. Did you have your burns before or after? Um, I'm guessing after. I see. Because I mean, I don't know what happened before. Did your ears fall off? Or when was it that you noticed that they were missing? Probably when I first woke up and grabbed my ears the first time, I realized they weren't there. I see. But, I don't know, I just didn't feel right. I see. The most interesting. When was the first time you experienced elevated levels of radiation? Probably when I woke up. I see. Yeah. Yeah. Most enlightening. Thank you. Did that really help you? I mean, I'm kind of confused, but okay, anyways, so three hours pass pretty, pretty, pretty normal. It's, it's hard travel because you're, you're walking, but it's really not too stressful or anything. It's about like 80 degrees. So it's, it's pretty hot and there's no clouds right now. It is just a beautiful blue green sky. And you guys come across a, what you know, you haven't necessarily been out this far in a long time, but you know out here there is a, like a, it was an old tourist trap called the round barn and it's out here and you guys come up to it. It is a historic landmark from pre-war and you guys are, I would say it's like probably like two football fields away from where you guys are at. There's like a, a little like pathway that a driveway that goes to it. And as you guys are looking at it, can you all roll me a perception, uh, survival? I have, I guess, another critical, I also got a critical and a success. Oh. Uh, I failed both times. Okay. So it was a difficulty one. So everyone, if anything above that you get to me. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if there's a cap on that. I don't think so. I don't think so. I think you just get it. Cause then you can spend it. Yeah. Because there was five tokens in the starter box. Yeah. Yeah. But that doesn't count towards the temp one. No, the temp separate. Yeah. I need to make sure I'm spending. I also have another box of those somewhere. When he put it somewhere. It's upstairs. That's upstairs. Cause what can you spend them on? As you guys are looking at this, uh, everyone but Sam notices, Sam's like facing the wrong direction. Uh, just looking at the sun. Uh, they have sure as bright today, getting like the second degree sunburn because there's a fucking no atmosphere anymore. Um, I know ozone or whatever, uh, they have on the round barn, like on the massive roof. Um, they have painted a big deep dish, saw a pie. Um, and with the critical success, you see little human fingers poking out of it. Um, and then you see at least a dozen, doesn't strange looking people sitting on top of the of the barn, walking around the barn, um, fighting each other, can save up to a total of six. Of six. Okay. As a group. As a group. Yeah, guys. Uh, we are doing action points slightly different. Uh, we're. Normally a group pool, but since we're, we're a podcast and we want things to be super interesting all the time, uh, we're going to make it so that everyone has a pool of five instead of the players sharing a group, a pool of six. Mm hmm. So because my pool by default is unlimited. So yeah. Um, cause I know, I think you're supposed to use, um, action points for scavenging too. You can. Yes. Like that whole section has like what you hated. But I think it's going to encourage you guys to use it more because if you keep, you're just going to generate things for no reason. You know what I mean? Yeah. So yeah, normally if we were on the play, like a harder game, we would just go with a pool. Yeah. But this is more fun. Yeah. And again, if, if this breaks it, we will just switch it. I mean, we've done that before and it's completely fine. So not a problem. Damon, you recognize these people as the deep dish and lightened. Deep dish. Okay. Yes. It's a cannibalist, they're a cannibalistic grader group that worships the deep dishes off from the pre-war, um, and instead of finding their own food, they just hunt it. And this is a, there's a lot of them here. You've heard reports of them having a one of their bases being somewhere on the outskirts and it looks like you have found it. Hmm. So yeah, you guys are welcome to go deal with that if you want now, but did a lot of them. Yeah. We're going to have a problem. If we, I mean, if we want to go over there, we can, we can skirt around this, but, uh, what is the problem? Uh, well, there's a group over there called the deep dish enlightened and, uh, what do they like again? They're the cannibals. That's right. Okay. Um, they like to, they like to eat the living, uh, that is a good source of nutrition. In the wasteland. Okay. Um, you, uh, brother, uh, Sam? Yes. Okay. Yeah. Um, what do you think? Everybody eats a live animal from the house. Okay. No, they, they, oh my God. They eat people. People. Yes. They don't, they don't, they, they worship the zah. The zah. He points at the picture of the pizza on the. I never see that animal before. You must mean pizza. Sure. I see. Is that another name for it? It was. Oh, okay. Cool. Yeah. They worship that, but they eat people. So I am not a people, a pizza, uh, yeah, I think that's what he said. I never seen that animal before. It is not an animal. And you're also know that there is animals. It's also, you know, that it's also rumored that they came from vault eight. Vault eight. Okay. Apparently they used to live in one of the vaults, vault eight is what, whatever here. This is most intriguing. Do you know anything about the vaults? I do not know. Do you want to roll something to see if you do? Sure. I do. I guess. Is there anything? Uh, yeah. Sure. I think you can think. I think I know intelligence for sure. What, what thing would you think would work with that? There's no brain thought. There's really not survival makes the most sense, I guess, but what about, I don't know. What about medicine if you're, you maybe know medical record. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Intelligence and medicine. That's a 14. I got another crit to cheat. Okay. Um, can you do it out of it? Are you mixed out now? Yeah. Well, I already was. You were. Okay. Perfect. Okay. Uh, I guess I'll let you ask me two questions. What do you want? What do you think that doc would, would want to know? What was the primary designation of vault eight, like the experiment? Okay. And we'll start with that one and see if I have any other questions. Um, so yeah, you weren't, uh, the only reason you know some of this is because, uh, you looked over the shoulder of one of your, uh, superiors who was on a conference call with a vault tech representative because, uh, you know that you, you, you have thought over the years after going through some of the documents that weren't erased, that your facility was working with some sector of vault tech to help with medical or experimentations or something. Vault eight was supposedly, um, a sister vault to vault seven, um, and each of the vaults were given the same number of civilians, guards and vault staff. And, um, over the first hundred years of the vault being closed, the one they were competing in various games, whether that was a strong man contest to dexterity play to talent shows. Um, and they were all being, uh, there was, you don't know that the specifics obviously, but basically the outcome over was whoever won, whoever had the most wins in the hundred years was released and the other vault was exterminated on the spot. So, that's all you got, uh, they continue talking, so there must have been more to that experiment, um, as there always is as fall of fans, um, so you'd probably have to go to these vaults to get any more of that story if you wanted, but yeah. And then, and then combining with Damon, you know that, like, they were all so traumatized because they described witnessing all the exterminations, um, they were set free immediately and forced to go out as the life support systems were turned off to the vault, um, and they were sent out. And, uh, like a good chunk of them went to the heart and helped that city, but then most of them were so psychologically broken and have been driven by competition. Their whole life formed a Raider group and then that Raider group just kind of spiraled. I do believe that their primary motivation is competition. Oh, really? Perhaps you could challenge them to a race. I mean, that's fine, but what kind of race, I don't have my vehicle. That would impair your efforts of beating a race. Yeah, quite a bit. Yes. Any other bright ideas? You could challenge them to a radiation off. I mean, I don't think they'd accept it leaving your physiological makeup. You would be very successful. I mean, you're not wrong, but I don't think they're gonna, they're gonna go for it. Brother Sam, you got anything? Oh, should we, I don't know, as, as you're thinking and you're putting these things together, uh, you kind of bring back and you, and you, you think if they're eating people, uh, they're, they definitely spiraled for because they were eating people and their brain just started to go and say, from whatever, I can't remember what that disease is called. I literally can't, but it makes you twitch and your eyes go gross and red. Yeah. So, yeah, I would be most interested in acquiring a specimen from this group. I mean, they are kind of a nuisance in this area, perhaps we can return anybody else willing to take these guys down. You see the group, the two other healthy people that are on your caravan, Andrea and her guard that's left. She's like, um, I do not think we could fight them while, I mean, I mean, a handful of them, but not a whole layer right now. All right, perfect. Uh, we'll mark this on the map and just keep going. Yeah. All right. Yeah. All right. Will you, will you actually keep a map? Yes. I'm eventually I have a paper says you guys pass that, um, you mark it on the map and you continue on again, hours past something happens to eight hour mark, uh, you come to it's where you're going to be turning, um, you're going to be turning left to head deeper into the city out of Indiana. Uh, Denwoody is in Eagle Creek Township, Indiana. All right. So yeah, you guys are heading to a point where you're going to be taking, uh, like getting off interstate on to highway 231 and right before you hit that, um, you come across a little point of interest here. Um, you see the Franciscan Health Crown Medical Center. Um, this pre war hospital is run down and looks partially, um, searched a little bit, but for the most part, it seems pretty intact, probably due to the raiders. So close to once it come out this far, um, you see a few of the windows are boarded up and the parking lot is cratered and cracked. So whatever. If you guys wanted to stop and go through this place, you could or you can just keep pushing through. It's completely up to you. Uh, demon will stop at any chance to look for stuff. Okay. Stopping at medical facilities is always a good idea. Yeah, you never know what you're going to find in here. Medical equipment. Um, I mean, there could be other stuff too, you know, just get so I can never know what you're going to find, right? This is fair. Yeah. Okay. Uh, injury goes, okay. Well, we'll just park out in the parking lot and we'll just, yeah, you guys just rest and keep a look at them and go do some searching. Okay. I will assist you. Hell yeah. Perfect. Do you come to brother Samyan? Oh, yes. Brother. Salami. Timton. All right. So you guys walk up to the front, this front door and it is it's like it looks like it was boarded up, but it has been like broken. So you guys could just push through into it. Um, how are you guys doing this? Are we doing a sneaky? We doing it loud? Are we doing it normal? Like, what's, what's the plan here? Uh, Damon will probably peek his head and he's, he's just going to peek his head into look and then just go in normal. Well, that's usually his, his go to, we need a perception survival then, please. Boo. Um, I feel on both of those, so I'm going to throw an AP out to reroll one, okay. Oh, another one? Yeah. Go for it. God, I messed up that one. Uh, okay. Yeah. I'll just, I'll just take the fail. You don't, you don't hear anything or see anything. Perfect. You're just going to walk it and, and he's looking for something specific. Okay. Some magazines. Are you looking for magazines? Yes. Okay. Um, all right. So why don't everyone who's looking, why don't we roll a group loot roll? Which I'm pretty sure we said it was, as you're likely to be scavenging a group, this is as easy as to resolve as a group test, typically the one with the best perception survival and everyone else assisting. So who has the best perception survival out of the guys? Probably me. Mine's a 10 total. Mine is a survival, uh, nine, so I like, okay, so Damon roll and everyone else just will run 1d20 and try to hit your, your thing. Oh, I did not. Did you roll? I did not either. Uh, me down on both. Okay. And you, did you any of you, you've both failed? Mm hmm. All right. Oh, it was difficulty too. So you guys did it. Yay. So you guys find numerous things, um, and you said you wanted to find a magazine. Yes. I'm specifically looking for car magazines. There isn't any here that I have, so you're going to have to roll. You have to use luck. You can use luck. I will. I will use a left one by one. Okay. Yeah. I'm just going to replace one of the things with it. Perfect. I'm assuming everyone's cool. I don't care. Okay. Then I'm, we're just going to roll on the, uh, Makazan table. All right. Give me a d20 roll. 11. It is a Massachusetts surgical journal, issue number six. Let's play doctor. Oh, man, that's pretty great. Uh, when you read it, it says once you provide medical attention to another character and insist their endurance survival tests to heal injuries, you may treat your assist, your assistants die as if you had rolled on one, so it's like you take you. It's like a consumable. Yeah. Okay. Um, they will look it over and kind of flip through and just like, eh, this isn't what I'm looking for. Hey, uh, doc, I got something you might want to check out. What is that? Oh, it's a magazine here. Read it. I see. It's just to be in the lobby of your, of your work, but you never saw it. You never got to look at them or anything, but I think magazines still work on your gun robots. Yeah. They still do. Yeah. It is a one time use thing. It's kind of like a Superica potion, basically. Okay. Yeah. I'll keep that then. So as you guys are looking around, the other stuff you find, um, you find a, uh, piece of armor, you find a sturdy raider armor, right leg. You find a Mickey's hard lemonade, a vault eight jumpsuit, coincidentally enough. Huh, just one common material. And then you found, you found seven cams. So are you ready for this? You found berry mint hats, buff tats, psycho, two stem packs, medics and a healing solve. Who wants to, who wants that raider leg? I can't wear it. And I don't have legs, my leg. You can have it if you want it. Okay. It gives you in your right leg, it gives you two physical and two energy resistant. There you go. And it's like, it's all like, there's like pointy metals on it. It's like pretty metal scary looking. A little heavy. Yeah, but now you can stomp things out real easy. As you guys are reconvening in the lobby, um, you're, you're checking one final room diamond and you like, stop, you're like walking or something to a desk and you accidentally kick something underneath the desk and you hear a, yeah, and crawling out from underneath the desk is a, is a feral ghoul. Two dudes will change the podcast world. Hey, do you like movies? Do you like silly goof times? Do you like getting deep for no reason randomly over anything? Then you should come watch. And it stands up in it and just like a show like pushes through you hard, not like it's trying to fight you, but it's just like there's no and you see him just like it like looks at you with these like very cloudy blue eyes and it walks towards the door you came through. He's going to yell at Sam. You might want to get out. Why? And then you guys just hear from the building just as upwards of you hear like seven different growls, I think it's time to go guys. This will make a wonderful experiment. We can experiment later. Okay, if you guys are running, I need a athletic agility I think to see if you can get out of there before more than the one follows you. You know what I mean? That one is gonna but like I'm going to add myself some dice. Okay. And AP is you how many I'm ready to do one. Do one. Okay. I got one critical. How many did I need to pass two one to each of you needed to pass to what I pass none. Really? Yeah. Oh, I think I must spend one to another one because of what is again. So a critical is that two successes? Yes. Okay. So then I do pass. I do not. Sam is out there. Right? It was just. Yeah. Or I get what? Yeah. Well, you did gain a guy. Um, unfortunately, um, the ghouls see here dot crumbs loud as oh yeah. And they all just kind of like they're just like falling off the balcony like in and then getting up and we're going to go, um, and you see like a couple of them grab dock and they're like, what do you guys do? I mean, I guess I'm going to it's not like biting you. It's like they're but they're like holding on because you're running away. They're just sniffing you. Oh, the wasteland offers no mercy. Neither do I. All right. We'll meet Buzz. Buzz out of the face. I'm going to take another one of these. I don't know if I'm going to get it. Oh, I did get it. Okay. And I get one more. I didn't get that one. Okay. Uh, so I do hit. So for damage. Okay. And then it has the piercing one. Did you roll? Did you roll where you hit them? Oh, I did not. The right leg. Okay. And I did one. So how much damage did you do? I think just one. Right. Just one damage. Just one. Oh, but I does have piercing. So I don't remember. I think that ignores armor. Yeah. I think that does it. One of the armor, which they have. So they don't have any. No. Yeah. So just one. Okay. It's four. Yeah. You roll four. Oh. Okay. You kind of just saw off the side of its face a little bit, like it, like kind of jerks, but you just kind of like shave the rest of its ear. Yeah. That's correct. And I guess we'll go into initiative here. Yes. Uh, do we want to use a mapper? There's seven. No, I think you know, okay, for this one, we will try. We'll try. Yeah. Okay. Yes. So to paint the scene, Sam's outside probably like short distance away from you two. Your attainment is kind of like still inside of the building didn't quite get out of the room that you were in. Docs at the doorway. Two are grabbing doc. And there is five getting up in the room. And one of them looks a little bit, it is in like full doctor's garb and you see that one's just like, and it's like twitching and it's gurgling. It's the Damon that one looks freshly. Feraled for a guy. And I need initiative. Well, we got it. I guess initiative is already done. What's your guys? Is initiative? Yeah. 14. Oh, the initiative 10. All right, Damon, you're up. Perfect. You see they have they have look, they see that this is turned hostile and you see they turn on you as well. They like a couple of them look at you. Of course they did. All right, just pull out my shotgun and take a shot. Yeah. Okay. Sorry, I'm hitting this number right. Is that what I'm? Mm hmm. Okay. Yep. And who are you hitting? Are you hitting? Are you hitting the Romer or the regular ghoul? Like the doctor, the doctor's the Romer. I'll probably take the doctor out first just because I feel like he needs to be. Put out his sensory. So you have to get one success to hit him who got two successes. Okay. All right. One of those and this did you want to use any of your points to deal more damage? Um, oh wait, how much extra damage is that you can use one to three and it gives you an extra dice per AP? Okay. Um, I'm rolling five dice right now. Yeah. Yeah. You know what? Let's just, I have one temp left. Okay. I'm going to use it. Hell yeah. Oh two effects. Hell yeah. Mm hmm. Three. Three. Uh, three hits, three effects and it's all in the torso. Okay. So that's, that's six damage because the effects still deal one damage. Oh, okay. And do you have any effects on your weapons? You do on that shotgun. Oh, spread. Spread is for each effect rolled, your attack inflicts one additional damage on the target. Each additional hit inflicts half the rolled damage and hits a random location, even if a specific rotation was targeted for the initial attack. Okay. So I'm hitting six on the first person and then another person I'm hitting three and be on the same, or same person, but you would then, so each additional hit, so you get three additional hits. You roll half, oh, and six half the rolled damage. So you rolled six so that in each additional, so you do an additional three to three random locations. So you're going to do an additional three damage. Okay. Three times. So you're going to do an additional nine damage to three, well, like three to one, three to another, three to another. Yeah. Yeah. Without rolling without rolling, but he just gets that. Oh, okay. Well, shit. Okay. I'm just blam, blam, blam. Okay. Well, whoa, whoa, many location. Oh, it's because it's random. That's right. Yeah, it's just random. So three, random locations. Two left arm takes three right arm takes three and left leg takes three. How do you kill the rumor? Yeah. This is really good. He had a defense of one, so he'd subtract four damage total, but yeah. Nice. Okay. So hit him in the torso, right? That was the first one. The torso, the legs, kind of everywhere. Okay. It's a face. So he, uh, Damon shoots him and you know what? It was just one shot and it was just all the pellets came out just so perfectly in like a circle. It just like completely cuts his torso out. So like, you know, he's not in like what, six pieces? No, five pieces. Yeah. Yeah. And just quick. No, it's just dead. Yeah, just dead. Just bam. Whoa. Oh, didn't know I had that much power in there. All right. Um, I guess it is Doc's turn now. All right. Let me just keep this out because you got it. That's why we didn't write it down by the way is because we had that. That's right. Yeah. There's much to it. Okay. Well, I'm in a, I'm in a, um, aim and then I'm gonna try to use my buzz saw again on this guy. So I got one success and I get a reroll and I didn't get the other one. So, okay. So just one success. Yes. That's it. Oh, and I hit his right arm. And I got two, uh, two effects, so two damage and I did piercing. Anything else you wanted to do? Um, you get two minor actions and movements, minor. I thought you get one, you get one, you get one move, one minor, one major, uh, but there's no opportunity attacks unless the creature has that specifically. Like these guys obviously don't see it to minor actions. Oh, okay. And so aim is a minor draw item, interact, move. Okay. So move is a minor. So it moves in my, yeah, you get to. So it's basically its own thing, um, cause you're probably always going to do that. And then majors are assisting, attacking, defending first aid. Yeah. So did you want to do any other minor? I'm going to move. Okay. Away from him. You just move towards Sam. So I'll move from close to medium. Then. Okay. Cool. Perfect. Yep. All right. Sam, it's your turn. Excuse me. Um, so I see them getting attacked and stuff. Your bullets go off and plus, uh, okay, Sam is going to run back in and who's closest to him? Is it going to be? Doc. Okay. I'm going to run you. There was. There was. Not anymore. Not anymore. Okay. So. Sam is going to use his gun and he's going to try and hit just one of the cool with the gun with the gun. Hit him with the gun. Yeah. Hit him with the gun. Okay. So it's a strength melee and I failed both of them. Try again. Okay. So you use two action points to retry. Yep. Okay. Got that one. You only need one to hit, so. The head. Cool. Now we'll roll your damage. 2d6. Happy face. Okay. And was it the one that was already hurt or the one that wasn't hurt? Uh, the one that was already hurt. So I have the gun bash which stuns him and then also melee attacks with guns gain the vicious damage effect. The attack inflicts plus one damage for each effect rolled for vicious. So you rolled one effect, right? Mm hmm. So you deal two damage. And is that your turn? Yep. You moved gun bash. You still have a minor action if you want to do something else. Um, so what's that? That's movement and you could also, well, you can't really aim. So. No. Yeah. I guess. Nothing. Unless you want to move again. Yeah. I move closer to Damon then. Thank you. I missed it again. I should have given you a luck point at the beginning of the fight from my mysterious stranger, so possibly show up if just in case, oh, okay, I had to do it at the beginning of the fight. It's not something I can do. Yeah, you do. That's okay. Okay. So now it's all the ghouls. Oh, joy. See, three of them are going to hit Sam and three of them are going to hit Damon. Oh, no. Like a stock just moved. Okay, let's do, let's do Damon first, because you just obliterated one of them. Oh, yeah. Wait, there's still six left. There were seven. Yeah. You killed. You didn't kill. I didn't kill. Oh, I thought you killed one too. It's almost dead. Probably. It's taking five damage. One of them has. Yeah. Okay. So here's the first attack on you. I'm going to just. Two successes. Are you doing it? You doing me or was it doing Damon? I was doing Damon. Yeah. Sounds so severe. I know. I'm sorry. They fucking fly everywhere. If I don't use this thing, you're fine. One of them misses. It just kind of jumps over your head and then the other two get to get a good, get a good punch in your one hits you in your right arm and the other one hits you in your right leg. Four, three radiation damage, which does does nothing. It heals you. I mean, it still hurts, but it doesn't do anything right. You only get the radiation if you roll that effect. Okay. For it. So you still take your damage, the physical damage and then so what about I didn't roll any effects. So okay. So then the other is you still take the damage. It's just straight up damage. Yeah. It's just damage. Three. I think I said three because the first one rolled all blanks, so and then to the leg. You actually wanted him to roll effects basically. Yeah. Because that would have healed you. Well, no, it wouldn't have because there's only been one radiation and I need three to heal for one hit point. Oh, okay. We would just you would just have to keep kind of that during a fight. Yeah. But that's so that's how it works. So it's like physical damage is separate. Because I was like, I feel like I need a new character sheet with extra boxes. There's a few of them that yeah, okay. We could always look for fan ones, so. Sure. Yeah. I don't know. Except once we iron out all the kinks is. Yeah. It'll be fine. It's just like figuring out the specific roles for like that kind of stuff. Okay. Brother Sam. Yes. You're getting attacked. Oh, no. One of them completely misses you. The one that's injured just it falls right it will falls and rolls in front of you. Oh. And then the other two do hate you. Okay. So the first one deals three damage to your right arm. Just regular physical damage. It only matters if you have armor there. That's confusing. I'm sorry. This physical D.R. that's the damage resistance right by one. So is it just two? Yeah. You take two damage. And then the second one is on your head. And that was I rolled two effects for that. So you take two damage and then two radiation damage. So where are you at right now, love? Two damage and then two radiation damage. I guess I don't mean to step out of it. I'm at seven right now. You're at seven and where's your radiation damage? Four. Again, I can store up to five for my attack day. Yeah. But I don't think it'll be useful in this point. Probably, you know. They are definitely immune to it. Yeah. All right. That was the ghoul. So it's back up to the top of the round for Damon. Damon is going to shoot again. Okay, got one hit. Okay. Now roll your effects. Roll to kill it. Yes. Okay. So I've got four damage, two triggers and spread to the torso for the first one. Okay. Four to the torso, two to the left arm and then two to the torso again. How do you kill it? Yeah. Which one was this one? Oh, I just would just say, yeah, I just, oh, so Damon turns towards the ghoul, the ghoul like looks at him and just starts like screaming, rattling, whatever noise he's making with his mouth wide open. He just shoots right into his throat. Oh, oh my, he's completely, no more neck towards those gone. All right. I think there's a brain still in that one. That was an aggressive tracheotomy. You can keep the brain if you want. I probably get the more fresh one. It's your turn. Okay. I'm going to take a shot at the one that you would almost, or we've almost killed. Yeah. Yes. Yes. And I will also spend an AP on this one. Hell yeah. Give me the dice. Yeah. Um, that's one hit. Is this a success? I'll take that to the right arm. Okay. So one hit to the right arm. Um, three, I'm sorry. I can actually roll one, one more and spend an additional ammo. You don't need to. Okay. How do you kill it? I just, phew, laser, I'll laser him. Yep. Just, yeah. Yeah. Just falls back. Just, uh, just a quick little laser beam through the head. Yep. Just rag dolls over a diculous thing. Okay. All right. Same. There we go. There we go. There we go. There's two in front of you still. Okay. I'm going to use my baseball bat. Yes. All righty. See? Let's see here. When strength is below max, or when health is below max, strength is 10 for skill checks and melee attacks. Yes. So. 13 is my target number. I rolled a 13 and a three. That's a hit. So two damage and then one effect. Yep. What's, do you have an effect on that guy? I don't. So it's just one. So it's damage. Yeah. One perfect. Yeah. How much damage is it? Uh, three? Hell yeah. It just makes the satisfying like a, as you hit him, did you hit where you hit him? Oh wait. Yeah. There we go. And the right leg. It's just satisfying like a crack of the baseball bat as it just shatters his knee. Whenever I think of like somebody getting hit by baseball bat, I immediately think of the scene from the movie Casino. Yes. That the aluminum bats to a body just does that sound good. It does not. No. You know it's not real, but it's, I mean, okay, um, these, there's two left in front of you, Kristiana. So they're going to, we're going to punch the shit out of you. Uh, that is a hit on your left leg and I roll three blanks. And the other one is a hit on your torso for two damage, two physical damage and two radiation damage, but as it just like claws you across the chest, um, oh no, how you doing there, darling, I've still got three. I'm still trucking along. Uh, Damon, that one behind you jumps over you again and misses you. Good God. They're coming out of nowhere. It hits you though, or five damage. It just like slashes you right across the face. Wow. And now we're back up to Damon pass, he's going to shoot him. Do you have an AP? Yeah, I have one left. I just do it. Do it. Do it. Oh no. That's worse. That's worse. What happened? Crap fail? Is it? Crap fails. Oh yeah, 20. So something bad. Something bad. See. Am I looking at this? Is this the IU game? You switched me. I don't think I did. Haha. Perhaps I did. I think you did. Except I, I roll out the crates early. So, yeah, you wasted them. Yeah. Maybe. Oh. Uh oh. No, this is, it's small guns, correct? Uh, yes. Yes, small gun. Okay, roll me a D4. I could get one. You don't have to dig it out here. Ouch. One. It's called click. You, you pull the trigger again, but nothing happens. The gun jammed. The shot was a dud. Or maybe you just reached the end of your magazine. Regardless, you need to use the interactive minor action on the weapon before you can fire it again. Oh, click, click, pull. That still cost me an ammo then, right? Mm-hmm. Okay, perfect. Uh, so then I'll just take the minor action to reload and fix the, the shotty. Alright. Uh, back up at the top of the row. Oh, no, we're not. We're at Doc. Dr. Rooney. I'm going to shoot another guy. I'm going to go on and do it. The hurt one? Yeah. I'm using an AP. Crit. Yes. I'm using it. I want that one back. Okay. Two crits to the head. How many, so how many crits did you just get to? So that's, you needed one success and you had four, which generates three AP for you. Yeah. Jeez. Who's got that luck now? Yeah. You do. Apparently. Alright, we will roll that Demaje. Okay. Uh, so is it just, it's just the four though, right? It's just four. Yeah. It's just like that. The crit gets you AP. That's what it does for you. Nah. Nah. Just two. Okay. Oh, I keep forgetting to do this. I can spend the extra rate after I hit to fire again. Yeah. Which I'm going to do. So I just get another damage dies. All of those. Yes it does. Another two. Okay. So four. I mean, I was just lobotomizing guys like that's what I keep here. I was like, I thought you wanted the brains. It was just one laser, wouldn't it just, it saves bleeding out. Six. I got to get more ammo guys. I got 16 shots. I say I'm not upset by being beat up by these things. No. You just, this is life, but it saves all the way to die. Yeah. We're about to die. Okay. So now it's a Sam's turn. Maybe run away. I mean, you killed the one that would have fucked you up. So. Let's see. You could just like, and then move. And then run away. Yeah. I think that's how it works. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to do that. I'm going to give another hit with my baseball bat. All right. You can also spend APD. Do you another attack? You could. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, per turn. Yeah. So I'm fine. But it costs two. Yeah, you can use two to do it. You can also add extra damage to melee weapons too, but. Or thrown attacks. Yep. Or, yep. Yep. Just not guns though. Oh, no, I didn't make any of those. One. Can also take another additional action. What'd you get, sweetie? I'd, I missed both of them, but can I reroll one of them? Yeah. You can add another DID 20, which is the same thing. Mm-hmm. No. It just, it's just like ducking. It's ducking from you. Okay. And then you just run. Yeah. Run away. You run at the caravan. Because that's, that would be long range for me. I mean, yeah, I just start running back out towards the door. Yeah. You go from close to medium to rain a lot. Yeah. Yeah. I ran back inside. They were at the door. Oh, they were at the door. Mm-hmm. Okay. Yes. You run. What do you say to them as they're like, they're just now realizing that you guys are fighting something. Uh, let's see. They're really mean. Okay. So next, next round after, after Sam, you'll, Andrea and her guard will, uh, I'll just have them shoot from where they're at. So the ghouls, uh, the two, that one that is going to just, just, I mean, I guess you're close now. I mean, I'm, yeah, I would be closer. Yep. Um, we're going to roll to, he's going to run up to you and just as he's running like launch into you. Oh no. Um, and a three. So he hits right in the head, oh no. And I'm going to use one of my action points, uh, to add a another damage to that is three physical damage and two radiation, which doesn't matter for you. Okay. So I have a two. So it just reduces it by that. Right. So you just take one. So yeah, okay. So just one just as it hits you right in the head, my eye stock, um, and then that there's still two of team, uh, they're going to, uh, he hits you in your right arm and the other one. Oh no. Oh no, hits you in your, he's, uh, he got any success and then a crit fail though. So what does that mean? I'm pretty sure you quit fail. It's a fail. Yeah. So yeah, it's two failures. Yeah. So yeah, reduce it. Um, okay. So yeah. It's crit failures, which let me go to, there's complications for melee. So let me go to it. Yeah. So we got the D four again, so let's roll that the one overextended your attack left you enabled to effectively defend your stuff, produce your defense by one until the start of your next turn. So he already had that. He already has zero. So what's the, what's the defense? Oh, yes. That's from, uh, it's your total defense score. Okay. You all should have one. Yes. It's like the average of all your armor or something. Yeah. Oh, okay. Um, just going to keep shooting. Just keep blasting. You got one success. All right, uh, three damaged and two spreads. Oh boy. So is that only one? Cause around, is it around down, I'm guessing? For the half. Mm hmm. Okay. Three for the first shot that I say, where I hit, I don't know if I did, uh, we'll say the first one for threes on the left arm and for one on the torso and another one on the right leg. All right. So give me your total damage three, uh, three, five. It is still up unfortunately. Mm hmm. You know what? I think I'm going to spend a luck point to roll. I did mention it earlier because we were talking, uh, but when you after you guys saw the raiders and you said, we'll come back later, you see a quest popped up that said that Amore. All right, Doc, we got there's one in front of you and then you know, there's two still inside. I will move. Okay. And then. Aim. Hell yeah. And then attack. Oh, shit. Did you fail? Yes. I didn't fail. And then I did. So. Yeah. Okay. So what did you do? Nothing. I just do. But I missed. It wasn't a critical. It was a critical. So you. So it's a real complication. Yes. You could spend a luck point to reroll that 20. So it doesn't come out as a 20. I don't have two luck points. I'm just saying it's an option. I suppose I could do that. Are you doing that or not? I'm going to do it. Why not? Okay. Cause what do we say if a three sessions re-referen? 13, which is not anything so. But it's not. It's not a failure though. But yes, you had a one that didn't have a one fit. Yes, I did have one success. You had one success and then everything else just failed. So you had one success. Okay. And for the four. We said for luck points, it's every time you guys rest fully. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Just because that's pecanically. And then if there's like something where it's like forced to we'll just play by her. But it's every time you rest. But I think you guys are going to be resting enough where it's fine. Okay. So we do get them back then on a rest. Yeah. Okay. So I had three, right? Cause it's equal to the yes, you're luck. Okay. Oh yeah. That's right. Yeah. Yes. Okay. Three full three damage. Okay. And piercing one. So I don't know if that matters. But not for these guys. Yeah. So just three then. Okay. Now it's Sam's turn there's one beating up dot chrome now and then two probably inside still. Okay. All right. Did you want to move at all? I did move. Okay. Yeah. I moved back. And then I aimed now you're next to, yeah. Sorry. Everything and everything. Yes. Yeah. Okay. So I'm outside now. Yes. And you had those stim packs you guys found. So I can heal you not to because you want to take one of those stim packs because I'm not sure. Yeah. We'll take that. But that doesn't kill radiation damage though. I know. And you can still expend that radiation even if it doesn't hurt them. Yeah. That's true. Yeah. Just keep that in mind. I just thought of that right now. Why wouldn't you just is that? I mean, I guess it would heal the ghouls, but if they haven't been hurt, yeah, could shoot me with it. That's true. If you use your gamma gun specifically, yes, any other gun would still hurt him, but but it's just with your melee. Whoa. But you have a game of guns. It's going to say with the melee. You have gamma. Wow. Did we just not make it so you can't die? Yeah. We just made it so you can. I mean, which helps because this is a very, it's a very, I mean, look at what I've done together. Are you super hurt right now? Yeah. He's like five zones away. Yeah. You can't see me probably. No, that's fine. Bam, bam. I was just like, I was going to shoot the one that was attacking doc. With the gamma gun? Yeah. Don't do that. No. Oh, that's right. Be nice until like episode eight. So you can, that's how long you got to figure out. Oh, I do need to take the STEM pack though. How much does that hum me for? It's a four, I think, for a regular. Oh, okay. Yeah. He'll score for one stone. Okay. And that's a minor major. So you don't get to attack this round unless you spend AP. That's fine. That's all I can hear for right now anyway, because of the radiation double check, but I'm pretty sure. Yeah, they do. It makes sense that it is since I think it's instant health. I think a chem is a major. Also, I feel like you shooting me with the gamma gun. Would you know that that would heal me? No. Sorry. Okay. So yeah, I don't. I mean, she, Sam should know, but he doesn't. Okay. Okay. Okay. I think there's two separate dots and they're not connecting. Yeah. Okay. There's three brain cells that are in there and one of them hit, one of them smile and one of them is sun's pretty. Everything okay? Okay. Yeah. Oh. Just. What do you voice? We're normally done at four. Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, it's just, I mean, it's been recorded for an hour and 50, but there's no way that no, no, but it's going to be an hour 10 for the time, this is the, um, we're getting close to the end of this. So it's fine. Um, that's your turn. Now the, the, I'm glad I left these out just in case you guys ran to them. Okay. She is a, and all right. So Andrea is going to shoot at the goal in front of that was in front of doc is not anymore, missing badly, darn it. And small guns is small guns plus what, Robert? You use it a lot. Oh, I don't know. Man. It doesn't tell me that agility. That's agility. Okay. Oh, it does actually. Oh, oh, you're talking about the that part. Okay. I was looking at the actual eight, eight, eight. Oh, he has a double barreled shock for a 15 and 18. Damn. All right. I'm sorry. Okay. Uh, who's now, who's closer now? I guess the goal would hit. There's four of you there. So I'm going to roll a D four. Ones, docs, two Sam's, threes, Felicia, and fours, the guard that I don't remember their name, but it's on this paper that I don't want to look at. Okay. Four. The person. Now read it. No name. You're dead. Colossal fail man, we're really good. We didn't have any in the first two sessions. And now we're getting all of them. Yeah. We're everywhere. Literally everywhere. Ups and downs. Yep. Ups and right. I think there's a diagonal ones. There might have been. I was concerned about that vertical one. Oh, man. Don't get me started. You see he punches and the guard like, whoa, and he punches into the, the, the wagon, not breaking the wagon, but gets a tail. He starts to pull it out in the woods. Like, like, he's like tearing his flesh, trying to get it out. Oh no. People inside going, they're like, can't move and they're like, oh my God. Um, now the two in front of our good friend, David. Oh, I hit on your torso. Oh, uh, for one damage. That's it. If you've been radiated enough to heal yet, I don't think so. Well, actually, I don't know. You haven't done any radiation damage to you. It sucks. Never mind. Oh, yeah. Cause he's. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Uh, the other one critically failed. So he jumps over you for a third time and crashes into like a cart and you see he's like, trying to fumbling to get up. So he's going to be stuck for a round. I feel like it's like Damon is just kind of like, you know, like reloading or something and just like happens like just turn and just every time he's turning and just jumping right in front of him. Yeah. Those ghoul senses and you know, also that is like ghouls have like a heightened sense of smell per the lore. So you would smell like the worst shit. I feel like his, his, his ghoul sense would sound like a Geiger counter. That's pretty funny. Um, Damon's turn. Damon's blasting. Okay. Well, I got enough ammo. So I don't, it works out for me. Oh, I saw a 20 and that's lit. But now I got a one. Oh, I got a one on the other. I got eight on that. So two successes. Oh God. Three. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Okay. Uh, two, four, six, seven, eight, all until the left are eight damage. Yeah. Eight damage left on the one that was hurt or one that wasn't. Um, the one that wasn't, how do you kill it? Was it the one that was jumping after me? Okay. Yeah. So I'm skeet shooting. I'm jumping up again and I'm just, oh, damn. That's good. Just splatters against the wall. Yes. I really want you to get the bloody mess per now. No. So they explode. That'd be good. The spread is so good. The spread is hell. I think it balances though with like, cause you guys don't have that much health to you. So I feel like, but I mean, guns, guns fuck people up. So, I mean, I also can't aim with the shotgun because it's, uh, what is it? In accurate. Yeah, it makes sense that having that that's pretty decent. Um, so he's going to do that and then, um, Damon's going to, uh, try to get back over to where Dr. Roman, brother Sam, you can get one zone is out of the building. And then another zone is like in the middle of the parking lot. Okay. So you're like a zone away from them, if that makes sense. That's good. Yeah. I want to see their fighting one over there, um, and now it's Doc's turn. I am going to go to the back of the goal and say, you're scaring my patients. And base of the school, just just have at it. I'm going to add extra damage. Okay. Um, and then I'm also going to aim do it. Yeah. Okay. So that's two successes. I guess I don't have to, I'm just going to forego my aim. Okay. I could, yeah, what does he do again? Let's your reroll. Yeah. Let's your reroll. You said it. I did. So, yeah. Okay. So I still got, I still got one. So that's fine. Okay. And, and you still got one success. Yeah. So that one success. So then I'm going to add a three damage for three AP points. If everyone's keeping track of your ammo, right? Two. Yep. Okay. Um, that is two, three, four, five with the piercing effect, but I don't think that matters. So how do you kill him? I, I mean, just back of the skull. That's it. Okay. That's going to do her. And then, you know, I really need to, we need to get more fusion, so this guy. You see, you need to find a different weapon. It's so good. Sam, you do not see any more ghouls. Okay. You don't need to just stand there. I wait for, uh, Damon and doc to come to me. Okay. And we're still in combat. There's still one ghoul, but it's inside of the bill. You just don't see it. So you have no idea. You think they're gone. Damon, as you're walking, you hear, uh, shambling out. Of the building is that last, uh, ghoul. That's like, there's like a big hole in the side of his shoulders. She should just like look at you and you recognize, there's like humanity is for a little bit in her eyes for a second, and she's just like, it's over, but the crime here. And she looks at you just like with pleading as do you see the feral mistake over again. Uh, this always sucks. Okay. So a demon is going to be like kind of almost like you could tell he's not happy about this one, but he pulls out his tire and he's like, well, yeah, I got to do what I got to do. I'm just going to bash her at him. Yep. Just splatters. Is that shot where like it's from behind you when it hits and then it cuts below you as, and then it cuts to the back as it splatters against the building. Uh, I think that might be all of them. Everybody. Okay. I'm great. His eyes are green. You have been like his pupils are huge. He's fucking having a spiritual journey right now. He got something to help me and we got some, what is it, Radex, right? Right. Right away. Radex is the, I think it to like gives you resistance. Oh, okay. Okay. Um, your radiation levels are critical. I can sleep it off. Chylation therapy is your only option, though survival is uncertain. I think that's what we'll call it. There we go. Would you guys have fun? So much fun. So much fun. Oh, yeah. It's so good. I really, I really like it. Combat is fast and vicious and I like it. Yeah. Right. There's also a lot that you can do. Yeah. So, but I think we'll go get to the point where we know exactly as long as everyone's thinking what they're going to do. Yeah. It'll be fine. Yeah. Because it doesn't quite as much thought as like D and D. It's just nice. But it requires less, it requires a little bit more than chill. Yes. Chills, like I can do these two things and I need to do them or we die. Yeah. So, um, I really like it. It's super funny. Honestly, it kind of feels like a boulders, gate three style version of Fallout three or a Fallout, which would just be Fallout one and two. Yeah. It feels like Fallout one and two combat. Yeah. Um, because like it times technically paused while you guys are deciding and then everyone reacts and that kind of gets like two seconds or something. So you got 98 experience for that fight. So because each school was 10 and then the the Romer was 38. So. Well, cool.
