There is extreme technical difficulties in this episode. A cord wasn’t properly plugged in so the laptop microphone recorded instead of our soundboard. We tried to clean it up as best we could and Nort re-recorded a few parts but it is still pretty bad. If you skip this episode there is a recap in the next episode.
On today’s episode the envoys go back in time and experience part one of Picheal’s backstory. A few weeks after Picheal discovers and thwarts the hacker "Codename Rupture", that resulted in numerous high ranking representatives to be jailed at his company Orion's Bow. Aaron, Nick, and Picheal try out new experimental VR software. They hop into the hit game Borderlands and battle it out against some bandits. Just before a boss battle they are sent into phase two of the VR software and get to experience Jurassic Park as the main characters. Is it a dream come true? Or is it all a trap?
The system used in the battle scene is a homebrew combination of D&D 5th edition and Chill 3rd edition.
