We're glad to have Taylor's to be one of our main sponsors. Like you said, there was earlier, it was a little bit humid, but I think that humidity's dropped and there's even a breeze now. Yeah, there's a slight breeze on the field when I was down there for the pregame. So it's just a great night for football. We've got young cheerleaders, high school cheerleaders. I brought my two youth teams here. I mean, there's a whole lot going tonight, so it's going to be a good night. I have a good feeling about tonight. Let's just say that. And then after a quirk, I believe the middle school teams are going to be, our fans are going to be performing after the game. Oh, that's good. Yeah, we can't exactly. These fans are phenomenal. So, yeah, watch them as well. That's right. We're back with more of our three games that are brought to you by Taylor's Automotive on 98-9 WDD. [Music] And welcome back to Tiger Stadium here on the beautiful campus of Elkins High School, located in Elkins, West Virginia. This is the Scotty Coaches pregame show. I am Daniel Smith. I'm here with Coach Chad Ware. Coach Ware, how are we feeling this evening? I'm feeling good. It's exciting night. It's Friday night life. Let's get after tonight. You got it, my man. So obviously, the first two weeks, a lot of hype, a lot of excitement going on last week. The fans were full. Looks like the parking lot's full again. I mean, it's going to be a big crowd. You have the chance to be on WDD Metro High School fourth line. I was on WKMZ this morning, talking up to high school Tigers. You've got Lewis County is down the night. You know it's a big rivalry. There's going to be a lot of hype. The electric Tigers lose the matter to each other, same to Tiger. You've got to let them be free, play loose, play fast. I mean, that's the name of the game in football. Be a Thomas. Know your Thomas. We're disciplined, but you've got to get after. You've got to play with a lot of emotion. This is going to be a physical contest, a good Lewis County team. We just got to get after it. You got it. So the first two weeks, 30 more points on the board. Over 700 yards rushing on the first two weeks as well. I'm going to assume that the game pass can be something similar. It comes to light, Greg. Well, you know, it has been broke the first two weeks. So we haven't had to fix it. You know, obviously, we got a playbook that's got other stuff involved in it. We've worked on other stuff this week, and if we got to go to it, we'll go to it. But, you know, we want to ground it, pound it to the clock, keep the ball in our possession. Good things happen when we do that. So that's the plan. You know, and but the plan sometimes changes, but we're going to stick with our plan. Good deal. And obviously we talked about Nick Bowers and what he's done the last couple of weeks on an amazing pace. We see that same pace going through the rest of the season. You try to get some other backs involved to kind of give him a break. Well, I mean, you know, we take what the defense gives us. So, I mean, you know, ultimately, we don't want to carry to 38 times a game. You know, that's not the plan, but on third night, it's going to be the plan. But we got the capable wing back. We've got a quarterback. We just haven't had an opportunity to use him yet. As we go forward, that's going to come open some, but yeah, I mean, we're going to use Nick as needed, but we've got some town to back also. Good deal with tonight. We talked about it. We've got a loose county team coming in here. One in one, only six points scored in the first two weeks. So it looks like they're in a rebuild note as well. They're going to be tough regardless. What do you expect to see other men on both sides with all tonight? Yeah, they're going to come after us. I mean, their physical team, Coach Cogar's a great coach. You've got a great staff. You know, he's got a physical mindset. So they're coming, right? They're not coming in here to lay down against Elkins because Elkins want a football game. They're coming in here to win a game. Their kids believe they can win a game. So we expect nothing in the best of Lewis County tonight. They're doing on the injury funnel. We do it. How are we looking? We're good. You know, we had some sickness during the week, but we got guys finally healed up, things, bruises. But you know, that football happens. Guys are going to have to learn to play through that stuff as we go forward. But we're pretty healthy, healthy as we can be right now. All right, Coach, I'm going to let you get back at it. I appreciate your time as always. That's the luck of my man. Love you. Appreciate you. And we'll be right back with more pregame right here on 98-9 W-D-N-E. Are you hungry? Hey, everyone. Big, big, big crowd and lots of guests, both old and young. And we're glad that you tuned us in here on 98-9 WV-D-N-E for tonight's game. And this is the first two games from Route 33 because next week the Tigers will be at Joaquin and Usher. And we will be on the air to manual and I at 645 with kickoff at 7. And of course, big alcove early the night out back at the station directing things for us. And again, we appreciate Taylor Automotive for the free game show. And, D'Manuel, I'm telling you, it's been a long, long time since I've seen the crowd like this. It's been a long time, but it's been a long time coming. We were due for one and what a special night, what a first couple of good seasons, you know, first couple of good weeks that they've had as far as the game goes. I mean, we're two extra points away for B&T&O. Going into this game with a Lewis County team that looks like they're in a rebuild mode. You look at the rosters, a lot of young bodies, you know, as far as, you know, considering what we're used to. You know, we're used to a veteran team that will ground in pound, but everything has to do. So this is their year. And Lewis County has only scored six points on the year. That's amazing. Oh, that's amazing. But, you know, again, they're trying to figure out who they are and what they are with a lot of young kids. Now, you will see no one accord, you know, be the, probably the feature back tonight. Oh, yeah. And they're going to try to ground in pound. They're going to try to do an offense and try to fix that three, four look on defense. And they're going to see if they can figure one out this week. Okay. And we'll be back with starting lineups for us. You've got the Red House County Solid Waste Authority after these messages on 98 9 W D. It is coming soon. Let's go Tigers. And welcome back to Elkins High Football Stadium. Where tonight, starting at Quarterback, we'll be taking Sarah on to the Tigers to see back if we go important. Of course, Big Nick Mowers at three-back. And Kyle Reed at the four-back to tie it in. We'll be pressed in Eversole, split in, flipped in Miller's. And then, at one tackle, we'll have eight in Lambert's, a big boy. Along with Cam Warner and the guards. We'll be Isaac Berkman and Devin Polter. In the center, they go and stay in this game. We can only give you what we think might happen for Lewis Tim. Yeah, so starting at Quarterback, we remember so. That's you guys. You can talk more. In the back row, we talked about it. The number 24-11-4 will be the published feature back. I didn't like it. For Lewis County, along with the other senior, Alex. You go to one in the back row, the other one in the front of the two. They didn't throw the ball hole out the first week. Now, second week, I don't think it threw the ball hole out as well. I'm assuming, in the back game, we're going to see the guys targeted like Garrett Mose. They're one of four, four, Alex Godwin. They'll have some young guys. First, it's Devon Bellamy and Aidan Andre. That'll probably get some rest in the passing game, but probably on the ground as well. So, again, a very young Lewis County team trying to find a way. And they're going to try to do that right here tonight. Oh, indeed they are. The crowd is just going crazy. And I believe Lewis County's going to get the ball to start things off. Is that correct, Dave? I believe you're correct, sir. And then, we have to get all fights on. I'll tell you what. Is this exciting or what? Yes, it sure is. I'm telling you, we have, you know, you brought your team here tonight. We have, I see the middle school team here tonight. And just all kinds of people. We've got the middle school team here. You've got both team teams. The cheerleaders actually held a cheer clinic this week for the younger kids. They just found the girls. So, although it's young girls, we've found the girls that participated there in the week. They're out here sharing with the high school cheerleaders. You've got the man in the middle of the field. You've got the guys on the field right now. What a night. Holy cow. Give us a fact to open Tiger football. You better believe it. Okay. So, the Tigers are going to kick off from the left to right. To the Lewis County Minuteman as we're ready to begin action here. They're going to have to. Okay. They just did put the time on the clock. Okay. Moats and a cord. Back to receive. And the Angelo will kick it off from left to right as we began. Let's see that foot look. Yep. Show them what you got. Okay. Here is the kick. And it's a squibber. And it's going to be picked up by one of the up men at the 40. And he's going to go across the 42 yard line where he's knocked down. It looks like that was Isaac Pickens who picked it up. The loose ball. No pun intended. And he's just a freshman. Well, like we talked about, you've got to see a lot of questions. Don't get it. It just needs to play physical. It doesn't matter what age they are. They're going to play better. And it's just a matter of them getting comfortable at this level and figuring about. Okay. They did change Eli Jones as number one day. Good talk. Good talk. Okay. Jones up over center. And here is the gift to own a court. It's 45 midfield and he's dragging players with him and he's going to be knocked down. At about the elk and 46 yard lines. We just talked about that. That's going to be their ghost. We got into the veteran in the backfield. And if you remember last year they had Carter and Kate and but accord with the guy that puts the tiger. Last year for three touchdowns and close to 200 yards. So the ball right in the middle of the field, Lewis County moving from our right to left. And whistle blows. I don't see any laundry. It looks like an equipment problem. So they'll take care of that. And you know, we talked about own accord. He's 511 165 a senior and back there with him to help block is Alex. Good one. He's 581 75 and a senior. Man coming in motion. He'll give us a gear up most. Most hit the back field for a lot back inside of Lewis County territory. That was something 30 rally rider with those. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna do that line. Okay. And they lose 5 on the play. So the ball's going to be spotted back at their own 48 yard line. Right around the storm is right or in the storm cause of grief early in the ball. 1113 to play opening quarter. No score here at Elkins ball at the left. It's a good pass mark Lewis County with it moving from right to left. Eli Jones up over center. Man comes in motion. And here is the snap. And here is to give the good one. And good one is going to be good hard over midfield to about the 49 yard line of Elkins. Well, good rally router. One of the first bodies there for the Tigers along the 7th over. That's like the defense. You know, we talked about the offense and what they've done off. That's the first two weeks defense has done equally as well. They sure have in 38 to play opening quarter. No score. Lewis County 3rd down in 12 at the open 49 yard line. Eli Jones. That's some up. And he's just a sophomore. And here is to give. Look at that. And we're going to hit him in the backfield. Oh, the court is going to go down hard for a big loss. And who thought he's that time to fight seven holes with a linear period. AKA. He's making his presence. Felt early in the ball game. Well, that goes clear back to the 45 yard line where it's going to bring up a funding situation for Lewis County. Exactly 10 minutes to play. First quarter, no score. And they're going to have to punt the ball away. What a great start for the Tigers. Nick Bowers also remember on the assist, but that was all Devon holders. OK, of course. He's the punter. He does all the kicking, actually. And here is the kick and it's going to be picked up by Bowers. Bowers at the 2025, still on his feet and knocked out a bounce right around the 30 yard line. So Elkins will start with decent field position, first and 10. No score here at Elkins. 935 to play opening quarter. Elkins and Lewis County who scoreless. Elkins will have a first weekend from the Tiger 30 yard line. That's a good professional defense for Elkins. And there we go. A quick, you know, period gets to the county off the field. Now they've got the ball. If they can do what they've done the first two weeks and get an early lead, we'll go. You better believe it. OK, Sarah wide up over center. And here is the give. On the right side, Bowers, Bowers gets up over 35 to about the 36 yard line. So Bowers picks up, give him six. And that's going to bring up second down and four. And that's what coaches like to see on first and second down. Oh, good. That line is doing exactly what they need to do. The line is moving bodies backwards and third and next. That's what you want to see. Yep. OK, second down for the Tigers. Second and four, they move from right to left. And here is the pitch back to Bowers. Bowers up over the 40, 45, and knocked down at about the 47 yard line. But there's laundry. There it is. An area on the field. And the flag is back at the 36 yard line on the Tigers. Oh, man, it's holding on Elkins. Yeah. Usually if you see a flag burning. Yeah. It's the backfield. That's going to be the offensive side that commits the no-no. Yeah. OK, so it's inward penalty. And that's going to bring up second down and long. 16. Second and 16. 845 to play opening quarter, no score. And here is the reverse. And with the football, is that Fower? No. OK, the Phillips. OK, the Phillips. They ran a reverse. They saw it. They saw it. Yeah. 40 handed it to Phillips. Yeah. Dilling 40 started left. Hands it off the cadence. Phillips, there comes right. Nobody saw it at the Lewis kind of side. Next thing you know, first down at 10 Elkins. That's the 43 yard line. Right half mark, 826 to play, no score. Tigers and Minutemen. Quick game this early. How about that? Got it. OK, sour line. And here is the give. And this time it's to lick Bowers. And Bowers gets up over midfield. And inside the 50 to right around the 47 yard line. So that's going to bring up second and about an inch. That's not even one, but not even one, no, four and a half inches. Lock turns seven minutes, 50 seconds to go. First quarter, no score. Elkins with the ball at the 48 yard line of Lewis County. Right half mark. Sour line up over center. And here is the give to Dylan Fortney. And Fortney muscles his way up to get it first down. And the ball is going to be placed at the 45 yard line. Well, we got through, but only needed. First down Tigers. We had to see a helping strategy that left out of their offensive line as well, which was very effective last week. Yes. Against Lincoln. That's why they've used the right side for most shortly. OK, ball right in the middle of the field. First and 10 Tigers. That's 45 yard line of Lewis County. No score. Seven, 18 to go. And here is the give. Look at Bauer show. Bauer's 40, 35, 30, still digging his feet. And finally going to be whistled down. Wow. Look at this. He's got one, two, three, four, five, minute men on him. And it's going to be placed at the 28 yard line. First down Tigers. Bauer powers. Whoo. Bauer, Bauer with the power. Seven minutes. Five seconds to go. First quarter. No score. And Elkins. Close to the red zone. At the 28 yard line. First and 10. That's our one. Up over center. And here is the handoff. This time it's going to go to the right side. Well, there's not a phone lock there. Good Phillips. Actually more than I thought, see, one, two, three, four. Four yard. So there's a score. But if you're Elkins, hey, that's what you want to do again. Get that three and a half, four yards per carry. You're moving the chain. Running this car. Yeah. Go ahead. So you're fine. I was going to say keep that defense on the field as long as possible. Yep. Okay. The ball. It's a 23 yard line of Lewis County. Six, 21 to play. First quarter. No score. Tigers with it on the right hash mark. And here is the give. First baller at the 20 and he's going to be knocked down right around the 18 yard line. And it's going to be very close to a first down. It's not. Yep. They give him a first in. And actually they're going to stop the ball at the 16 yard line. Right hash mark. Elkins knocking on the door. Six minutes. Four seconds to play here in the opening quarter. No score. What a game. Okay. And they go in Stanley. Ready to give it back to Nate Sarawan. Uh oh. There's the laundry again, D. Open line move. Little miscommunication there. So that's going to back him up by the arts. Well, we talked about this last week for the second half, especially the penalties that the fighters racked up. Yeah. You know, and you wondered was it something that was going to carry over to previous weeks. Well, here in the early going, that's a quick to unnecessary. Yeah. Okay. The ball back at the 21 yard line and the Tigers and they'll send a wide out to the left. And that's Quincy Miller. Sarawan men in motion. Bowers off that left side. Bowers still any feet. Bowers inside the 15th. We're about to start. Yeah. Mowers with another good carry there for the Tigers. He got the five backs left. There was three more. So it's at the 18 second and eight. Man, it's hard to believe. Clock's already down to five minutes and four seconds. Well, here in the opening quarter and type of the Elkins is doing exactly what they need to do. Yep. Let's get it first down with the change first down with the chain. Keep that clock turned. Mm hmm. And keep their defense on the field. Okay, Tigers. Look at this back to pass the ball and it's overthrown. Sarawan. Sarawan. Looking for the tight end and not out there. That's what the person ever saw. It's the fifth number. It's halfway outside. Super free. Okay. Third and eight from the 13 yard line. And that's the Lewis County 13 ball in the right hash mark. Clock down to four minutes and 47 seconds. And it stopped on the incomplete path. Sarawan up over center. And here is the gear. Nope. Sarawan's going to keep it. Mumble. But it does that about. Well, actually, okay, the Phillips on the, uh... There's a tape. Okay. So it'll counter play to everybody. Mumble then, luckily for the Elkins Tigers that rolled out of bounds. And guess what? It's going to be first and goal. First and goal from the five yard line. Four minutes and 32 seconds to play. Opening quarter. Mm-mm-mm. Elkins are already nearing 100 yards of rushing here in the first quarter. Boy, that's something. That was about 8.6 per pop right now. And that's Sarawan up over center. He has Bowers behind him. And here's to give the Bowers right side. And that's in there. But he's going to make something out of it, Dave. Bowers. And he's inside the Bob. Let's see. The one yard line, Dave. Whoo! Well, he got up inside there. He just kind of hopping, shifting bounces way through there for a good four yard game. Okay. Second and goal for the Tigers. The ball at the one yard line of Lewis County. Three minutes and 48 seconds to play. First quarter. We talked about the pace that Bowers is on for the season. Right now already with 7 carries for 56 yards here in the first quarter. That's amazing. He's amazing. You better believe it. Okay. Second and goal for the Tigers. Bowers again behind the quarter back. And Laundry comes down again. Both are it on the Tigers. Oh boy. Let me get your third penalty of the first quarter. And this one couldn't come at a worse time as you have the ball. Yeah. Right at the one yard line. Now you've got to do it from the sixth. So second and goal from the sixth yard line. Boy, that has to... Kat Ware has to really be hurting me with this. Three minutes. 17 seconds to play. First quarter. Second and goal from the sixth. And here's the pitch and it goes back to Bowers. And Bowers touched it on open. The sixth yard touchdown runs the Bowers. First quarter. They went with the ball cabinet. We saw that just last week. The perfect game against Lincoln. They go back to you down there on the goal line. And who else? Number 11. Into the end of June. So Bowers scores. And that comes with 305 to play here in the opening quarter. And we'll see if the Angel Oak can boot it through for a 7-0 lead. We'll see if the Angel Oak can boot it through for a 7-0 lead. And here's... Oh, it's a very hot snap and it's over the head of everybody. So did the right thing and fell on it. Absolutely. He did. We're trying to make it play. No need. No need. This nothing tagger 305 to play. As summertime winds down, you might find yourself facing a few projects to get your home ready for fall and winter. Let Mountain Valley Bank help you. Well, there I was about to literally throw out the proverbial kitchen sink with the wife Jean-Ann Gilbert Buford. I got this. Sure enough. She headed on out of Lincoln Supply in Mill Creek and brought home all the plumbing supplies. Not to mention the tools she needed to rectify the leaky waterlines and drain pipes. There she was in all her glory, elbows flying in poof. It's done. What a woman. Oh, I fell in love all over you again. Shop Ligget Supply for all the hardware you need around your house. Ligget Supply in Mill Creek. If they don't have it, you don't need it. Last talk at More Country went for night out. Overnight at 99WTLE. And welcome back to Elkins High Stadium. The Tigers leave the Minutemen six-nothing. 3-0-5 to play first quarter. Elkins will kick from left to right. Impressive start for the Tigers. Yes, most in accord will be the defense. So let's see if the envelope switch it again. And that's what we expected. And it's going to be picked up by most of the 20. Most of the 20 feet. And he's gone down at the 26-yard line. Great kickovers there by the Tigers. We have about four Tigers there. The corral most of the traffic get outside on that right side. There's nothing doing. Yeah, parting the first one there on the stop. So Lewis County will have it first and 10. From their own 26-yard line. Two minutes, 58 seconds to play. Quarter number one, six-nothing. Tigers with the lead. Let's see what Coach Cobra can come up with. If you can get his Minutemen going in the right direction. Okay. Eli Jones up over center. And here is the give up the middle with Owen Afford. And there's not going to be a whole lot there. There wasn't. But there was nothing there. There was Larry Rutter. Kayla McCauley is Devin Fulford. Oh, Colin. Take it. Blue 7. No gain on the flag here. Second and 10. From the 27 of Lewis County. Clock turns two minutes, 33 seconds to play. First quarter. And again, we thank you for joining us on 98-9 WDNA. As we bring you Elkins high football all season long. Now this time in the shotgun and he's going to give it up to a good one. And good one breaks the tackle, but he's not going to get much. No, there's just nothing to do right now. And right now the Lewis County offensive line is getting pushed back. You're going to have to put that target on. Yeah. So the ball's going to be spotted at the right half from the 30 yard line. And that's going to bring up third and seven from their own 30. One minute and 56 seconds to play. Order number one. Right. No, no, no, no. They're trying to figure out something to try to move these chains to keep that tire off and off the field. We'll see what they do here on third down along. Okay, they're going to run a little reverse to their own. So it's a chord with it and he's not going to get a whole lot. They didn't need to go to reverse. No, no, no, no, no, no. Late flag. If no, it's going to catch it, he had a huge gap on the left side. And there's a really late flag coming in. Oh, oh. And sportsman like conduct. Elkins, Tigers. Well, that's the one thing. Again, we talked about it last week in that second half, especially. And it's very prevalent with the penalties and the sloppy play. And here we go in the fourth quarter or first quarter, rather, the Tigers with four penalties. And now you've got your first on sportsman like, which is completely unnecessary. Thirty five yards and penalties and first quarter for Alca. And that's going to take the ball to the Lewis County 48 first and 10 with 142 to play in the opening quarter. Well, it's like that. You get to pay attention to the ball game because Elkins had them stopped. Lewis County would have had the point. Now, let me possess. Yeah. Brand new. And here is the give off the right side, the good one. Good one breaking tackles. And that's probably their best run of the night. As he gets over the thirty five, excuse me, the forty five, so about the forty four yard line. That was a tough throw in there. Well, good one. So now it's on the Elkins forty five. Second down and about three. For the minute, man, one minute and twelve seconds to play opening quarter. Six nothing Elkins. Good one there, but I was feeling. And here is the give. Again, the good one. And good one is going to bust through that line and get a first down. However, oh, there's more laundry. We got laundry. My business is still a boom. Yes, it is. And this one's the holding called the on Lewis County. Okay, so that's their first penalty. One minute to play. First quarter, six nothing. Tigers leading the minute men of Lewis County and the ball's going to be backed up. To the Lewis County forty eight yard line ball on the right half spot. The Lewis County had two good runs right there. They served the final something that was pushing down that right side of their offense. Right. And unfortunately, they're going to do it from a little further back now. Okay, clocked down to forty eight seconds. Six nothing Elkins with the lead. Lewis County with the ball. They moved from right to left. And back to pass the ball is Jones. He got a man open, but overthrows me. Boy, he had. He wasn't. He had. He and Brown. There. Brown had like three steps on the defender. They're going to bring up third down and second. He and Brown was right there. It's just. I mean, it was what I tell you was a hand over three. That's exactly what it was. Brown had his fingertips on it. Okay, the ball again at the forty eight yard line of Lewis County where it's served down in 10 with about thirty seven seconds left here in quarter number one. Okay, they break the huddle. And. Flip back, Phil. They're going to run another reverse this time. Most with it. Most breaking tackle and most is going to get a first down to the open forty yard line. Twelve yards pick up. He's taking the help on a thirty four best serve. But it is. The Sylvester on the stop. The ball at the Elkins forty hard line at the right hash mark with. Eighteen seconds to play on a turning clock here in the first quarter. They want those reverses. They're there, but I'm telling you what they're also if they run a fake reverse. Yeah, they might hit a whole run because. That initial handoff. It looks like it's there. Mm hmm. Wow. Coach Cougar. That was one up that way here before two. Okay, and that's going to end the first quarter of action with the four. Elkins six. Lewis County nothing. Back after these messages. Well, ninety eight nine. W D and E. Everybody needs a truck. And welcome back to Elkins High football stadium. Where the Tigers lead the minute men. Six nothing as we begin second quarter action. They're need to sing first quarter. Well, it's a first quarter that's been dominated by the Elkins offense so far. If I look at defense, because the defense has done a great job against Lewis County. Yeah. What's she a blue county can figure one out here. Okay, Lewis County first and 10 from the Tiger 40 yard line. And from the shotgun here's a hand off the good one. And good one just up over the 40 to about the 32 yard line. Pick up the two second down and eight. Ryder and Holger in there to make the socks. I'll tell you what. We've said their names quite often in the first couple of games. I don't think we get enough credit. Those two young men have played outstanding football. They're the first two games in one quarter. Oh, yes. They sure have. Okay. If you joined this late, there's eleven and a half minutes to play in the first half. Elkins leads six nothing, but Lewis County has the ball at the Elkins 38 yard line. Ball right in the middle of the field. And here's the gift to Moats. Moats running off that left side. He's got some room. Moats at the 30 25 and he's going to be knocked down at about the 21 yard line. It looks like. That's a huge thing to know. It's about starting to do them. So you get the tackle. And Elkins 21 yard line where the ball is going to be spotted where it's first and ten for the minute men. Eleven minutes to six seconds to play in the first half. The county's got something going here. Let's see if I can capitalize. Okay, Joan. And here. Look at this. There's a big hole there for a good one. And he gets inside the 20 inside the 15 and he's going to be knocked down. So be sure to the first down. But a nice gain as the ball's going to be spotted at the Elkins 14 yard line. I think it's all front there by Alex. I mean he trucks somebody if he's going to go on there. And that at the momentum builder of your Lewis County, you know. Second down in three. And the ball again at the Elkins 13 yard line. And here is the gift. This time the good one again. Good one dragging people and he's got a first down inside the 10 yard line. Good job. Very. Yes, sir. And the ball's going to be spotted while seeing the Elkins 18 yard line. First and goal, Lewis County, 10 minutes, 10 seconds to play first half. Elkins leading six nothing, but Lewis County knocking on door. Watch for that inside reverse to get it from Lewis County. It's worth a couple of times to see if they go through it here. They're in the eye. And here is the gift. We got to afford. He was sitting in the back field, but he busts his way up. And let's see where they spot it. It's going to be at the eight. So yeah, I don't think he gave anybody that. So second and goal for the men. And from the seven yard line. They did give him a yard. Yes, they did. Okay. From the Elkins seven yard line, 930 play first half. Elkins six, Lewis County nothing, but Lewis County knocking on the door. Watch the most on the outside here. And here is the gift to good one. And he's going to get to about the looks like about the three yard line maybe. But you got to leave there. They're down and gold. Yeah, Lewis County has something working right now. They figured something out on that line. And now they've got the Tiger defense reeling backwards. Yes, they do. Okay, third and goal. From the Elkins four yard line. And it looks like they're I see laundry. Most takes it in, but there is laundry on the play day. He's business. No one fine here on a Friday night. I think he's going to get a hold on Lewis County looks like it. Okay, they're talking it over. They ran the right play. They weren't the most and I figured that there's something going on in that. Tiger right side that Lewis County figured out. They took it with their left side joints. It's a three to play in the first half. Here comes the official call. And it is holding against Lewis County. Oh, wait a minute. We've got two fouls off set because there's a. Tigers as well. But again, what a horrible time to have that happen if you're helpful. Well, for either of you, but. So third and goal from four yard line for Lewis County trailing six nothing. 843 to play quarter number two. Ball right in the middle of the field. The whole stands are back in about 10, but you do something silly. Now they've got the ball inside the red guy. Yep. And here is the give and. Let's see. Is that good one again? Yeah. That was good enough for little. Looks off there by a rally ladder. Now it's going to be four down and roll. What are you calling here coach triplet? Well, I don't know. They have a great kick. Six nothing, but you know, I think they'll go for it. I really did. Oh, I have no doubt right here. I think this is Alex is on all day. Mm hmm. Could be wrong. The officials come out and we have a little bit of equipment problem. It looks like on the field. Not your helmet, young man. Okay, four down in goal. Delken's leading six nothing in Lewis County. It's a one yard line. This is a 22 right here. Eight minutes. Twelve seconds. Two or coach over goes at the call. I think it's going to be 22 or 24 for sure. And here it is. Twenty two. And it is going to be a touchdown. Lewis County. He's too big a true song. I'll forgive him the ball down there. Mm hmm. It's exactly the point. Eight minutes to go. Eight six. As they score. Here in the second quarter. What a very impressive job for Lewis County in a much needed drive. That takes the wind out of the shells of the tigers. Mm hmm. Gives you some motivation if you're the guys in blue, white. Okay, so the court, he does all their kicking. For the extra point, the snap's good. The kick is up and it is good. It's very good. Seven six. Lewis County with the lead. With eight minutes to play. In the second quarter. Back after these messages are 98 times WDD. Let me see your touch where it dials up. Don't forget to leave. I believe we have Cayden Phillips back there with Nick Bowers. You are correct, sir. Thank you. You're welcome. And let's see how they're going to handle the kicker, how he's going to handle it. Oh, kick it through 11. Well, he's not going to. He's not going to be taken by one of the up minutes to 20, 25, 30 and going to be knocked down there at the 30 yard line. And I believe that was Elias Jones. It was one of the freshmen that keeps an eye on that man. He's going to be one. Yep. You're going to start hearing a whole lot of those in the next couple of years. Okay. So it says be first to 10 for the Tigers. And the Tigers will start at their own 30 yard line ball on the left half mark. They move right to left 7-54 to play quarter number two. Lewis County with the lead 7-6. Let's see if that Lewis County defense can get a stop and we'll see if that offense can get going for the guys in luck. Okay. And here is the give off the left side for a two yard. So that's Bowers. He's not much there on that one. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. So second and eight from the Elkins 32 ball at the left pass, seven and a half minutes to play second quarter seven six Lewis County. That's our line up over center and here is the give the Bowers off that right side, Bowers break it tackles at the 45, the 35 40 and all the way up to about the 40 yard line of Elkins. And that was a, that was a good hole there. Well again, we talked about the left side last week now for the right side. We've got camp one over there, Devin over doing work. Okay, first and 10 tigers. And here comes the handoff on the left side. They run at this time, not a whole lot there for Dylan Fortney. I keep, I keep saying, he's breaking their flags on the flag. But it says that he else said, okay, everyone. It's something they're shooting. They should be at least they forgot the press box. Yes, they should be. Okay, Elkins 40, 50 yard line left hash mark, where it's going to bring up second down for the Elkins and about seven. Not going to have any problems from them at night. I can tell you that. Okay, shower wide, that's over center. And here is the give off the right side and inside. The territory of Lewis County is Reed. He's very close to a first thing. It's a great nine yard window by Kyle Reed. He doesn't get to touch the ball a whole lot, but to tell you what, he made the best of that one. Mm hmm. Kyle Reed. And that's going to be third and inches in the ball at the Lewis County 47 yard line. Dixo three to play second quarter and here is the give this time coming off the left side. You're just running it and still on his feet as he gets down to about the 30 one yard line and that's Bowers again. So actually, you know, there for a while, they were running right side and getting open and now the left side. Well, that's a good sign up here. Okay, it is. If you can work most times or you all think the line equally, how do you stop them? Five forty five turning clock second quarter Elkins threatening direct to 31 yard line of Lewis County and there comes the laundry. Oh, yes, I'm staying up and late tonight. Okay, let's see what the call is going to be. I don't know why I'm saying just think it's from Lewis County. Well, let's see. Let's see it's quarterbacks correct. Nope. So off sides on Elkins. He's tried to show it. Yeah, tried to. So that's going to back Elkins. About five more yards. I'll tell you a man, we don't get to talk about often either. Obviously, you know, not much of a half a day, but next time I want to spend a great job managing this team, especially the offensive side to the first. Okay, ball back to the thirty six yard line of Lewis County first and fifteen. And here comes Bowers, Bowers, still on his feet as he gets up over the thirty five to about the thirty three yard line. I have to be careful for Lewis County. I've seen a couple guys driving there. It's a few seconds after this way. You don't want to get yourself a personal foul call for another reason. The ball's going to be at the thirty two second and eleven, and that's the Lewis County thirty two left cash mark for fifty two to play. First half seven six Lewis County with the lead. Nick already five Nick Bowers five yard shy of a hundred already. How about that? That sounds good. Oh, and with the ball is Reed and Reed, not much there. He got hit in the backfield and may have gotten back to the line of service. Oh, the great stop there by Peyton Pickens number seventy seven to slow him down. And then Reed ran right into one of his end line and after that, and then the minute men attacked. Oh, let's lag on the flag. Oh, boy. Holding on the Tigers, D. Double dip in a bad way. The penalties are ready on the Tigers for fifty yards. When it's in twenty thirty three up fifty yards. And that's going to back the ball up to the what? This is around the forty one yard line. Hard to win game because it's on back. Second down in twenty four twenty sixty play here in the first half. And here's Bowers Bowers is forty thirty five regular thirty dollars seventy three to twenty fifty. And that's just me. Get Bowers Bowers. How do you counter federal? You're doing number eleven. Forty two yard touchdown runs for Bowers in one case. Wow. Now comes with four fourteen to play. We are in the first half at the back right here for Lewis County because their defense will play really well. Yeah, okay for the couple four of the penalties. But number eleven is back there. You better believe anything is possible. Okay, a quick timeout to your boss thirty seconds on ninety eight times W. D. D. D. And DiAngelo, he's squibbed him the last couple times. This time he's going to kick it. Wow, look at that. He's over the head of everybody and it's going to be a touch back. Exactly. It's going to be the airport. I think that surprised everybody. Everybody in the family. Woohoo. Okay, Lucas. Wow. Okay, first and 10, minute men from their own 20-yard line trailing. 14-7 with four minutes, 14 seconds to play here in quarter number two. What an exciting game. Exciting game. This is a big possession from Lewis County. They were playing great defense. Elkins scores off a penalty. Gotta do something here because remember, Elkins gets the ball to start the second half. You don't want to get out and give them a chance to score again before that. That is right. Okay. From shotgun Eli, he gives it up to Alex. Good one. Good one on the left side and he gets up over the 20. He was about the 24-yard line. That's a pretty good pickup. They're going to give him five. That's a 25. That's a down and five from their own 25. Three minutes and 51 seconds to play until halftime. Not about option to run up to Lewis County. But if you were 24... Yeah. Okay, Jones. And here is the give. Again, the good one. Good one breaking capital. He's close to the first half. And I don't think he quite made it. Nuke, the ball's going to be on the 29-yard line. They're in 29. They moved from left to right. Three and a half minutes to play. Second quarter, 14-7. Elkins with the lead. He's up over the 35. To about the 36. And that's going to be a first down for the minute men. And again, a 7. Three 12 to play. Here in the first half. The ball at the 36-yard line. Left hash mark. He's up over the 35. He's up over the 36. And that's going to be a first down for the minute men. And again, a 7. Three 12 to play. And again, a 9. Left hash mark. They moved from left to right trailing. 14-7. Three minutes to go in the first half. Seriously, there was a more of a hurry up south. And down to three minutes. I haven't really thrown the ball very much. Go here to the score. Let's see if they try to go up into a little bit. He and Brown is wide out to the left. And if they're going to get right up to go. Look at this running in 40. 45-50. He's going to be gone. I think 40. 35-30. That's good. 40, 15. 10. Touchdown. Lewis County. 15-3 harder. You can also go to 63 yards without it. You're going to do. Holy cow. That young man put it off. Wow. We have a ball game here for you all. 63 yard touchdown for a good one. And that comes with two minutes and 38 seconds to play here in the first half. What a run. That young man says right in my back fellas. What I'll leave him here without a fight. And they're just going to try for the extra point which you know of course got the leg. Is that a quarter old anchor? I mean old anchor. I'm sorry. Old anchor. I couldn't see the number. Okay. Here's the snap. It's a little bit high and it's going to barely go through. Okay. So two thirty-eight to play first half. We're tied at 14. Back with the ensuing kick after week's message is on 98-9-W D&D. All-Care West Virginia is immediately hiring for several counties. And here is the squibber and Elkins humbles it but Elkins gets on it. Running the ball at the 20 and going to be brought down at about the 23 yard line. Can you come up some of the fairies? Yeah. [inaudible] But Garrett Smith. Excellent last name by the way. [inaudible] Okay, so Elkins will start first and 10 from their own 23 yard line. 232 to play, first half. 1414 the score, Elkins and Lewis County. Now to the Tigers. Counter-act here. Let's see. And here is the pitch left side, Bowers, Bowers at 20, 25-30, 20 feet. Bowers at the 35, Bowers at the 40, 20 feet. And Bowers just going to be brought down at about the 23 yard line. Well, let's probably go to do it. So first down for the Oakland Tigers. And the ball is going to be at their own 44 yard line with two minutes and 18 seconds to play in the first half. It's already over 150 yards here in the first half. That's amazing. I like doing what's got 100 and 10 on the other side. So you got two good backs. Yes, we do. Do it right now. You better believe it. Okay. And here's the give. And this time it's going to go to Dylan Fortnite. And Fortnite will get it over the 45. So about the 48 yard line. So five yard pickup. So second and five flocked down to one minute and 45 seconds to play. First half. The Oakland still with two time outs left. The Oakland still with a quick step over with just a minute and a half to get out. Yep. That's it. Okay. Sarah Wine, up over center. And here is the give. And there's not going to be hardly anything there this time for Bowers. We'll get it right. And that's going to bring up a serve. With 117 to play in the first half. Ball at midfield. Elkins moves from right to left. 1414 the score. Third and four for Elkins. And here is the give off the left side and Fortnite. He's not going to get the first down. I'll tell you what. I want a quarter shooting of the deal. And this right side. You said nothing. He's gotten past him. He was playing one heck of a ball game. Oh yeah. He was standing on defense. I don't much stay away from him. Okay. Fourth down and one for the Tigers. The game clock is at 37 seconds and the play clock is at 22. Fourth and one. I don't know if it's going to happen to anyone. Okay. Here's a snap. And here's the give to Bowers on the right side. Bowers bust through the 45 and he's going to be knocked down at about the 42 yard line. And the clock is down to 15 seconds and Elkins is going to call a timeout. A big shout out to all of our sponsors. We have Scotty's restaurant of Elkins. And they'll be traveling Route 33 to Buchanan. Yes, sir. Another addition of the Route 33. I think it'll be the 100th and 2nd edition. Wow. I have that correct. That's amazing. So the Buchanan Elkins rivalry. I'll be able to give you a spat later on in the week for that one. Yeah. Okay. Both teams coming back out on the field after the timeout. I believe Elkins still was one time out. But there's only 15.5 seconds to play here in the 2nd quarter. I don't want to look for some type of maybe a half back pass here. You got Westie Wilson wide right or Westie Miller. Yeah. I'm going to watch Virginia days here. Yeah, there you go. Okay. And the ball spun by. And I believe the center line picks it up. And Elkins retrieve the fumble. No, I don't think you just let her run. Go to halftime. Yeah. That's what's going to happen. Okay. And that ends the first half of action. Elkins 14, Lewis County 14. And welcome back to Elkins Tigers Stadium. Elkins and Lewis County, a great game on hand. Fourteen, fourteen, with four. Near-app, half-com. And the four-slot Felty Tigers Center brings us our half-time show. If you joined us late in the first quarter with 305 to play, a six-yard touchdown run by Bowers, the point after was no good. Elkins led seven-nothing. And in the second quarter, with eight minutes to go, a one-yard run, the point after good, seven-six, Lewis County with the lead. And in the second quarter, Bowers, 42-yard touchdown run, with clear first. And Bowers also got the two-point conversion. Elkins led fourteen-seven. But then, with two-thirty-eight to play, good one busts away for a sixty-three-yard touchdown run from the right side. And Old Acre was the point after. And that's where we stand, fourteen-fourteen, at half-time. And what a game it's been, Dean. What a great first half. We knew Lewis County wasn't going to come in here and lay down. Oh, no. Coach, where's that in the free game? I don't -- because they don't care that we want a game. They're coming in here to get another win-and-no-win column. So, they've shut up here in the first half. It was a slow start. But they're fighting right now. Indeed, they are. And, you know, I'm really impressed with both teams. You know, they're both playing really well. But one thing no for Elkins, the penalties, but they haven't really thought of, you know. They haven't necessarily -- well, yes or no. I mean, that one that they're -- when Lewis County sports towards the end, if they don't have the penalty on their side, if they back Lewis County up ten, they may not score there. So, that's a critical one in critical moments. But nonetheless, you know, it's out of fourteen. Tigers get the ball to start the second half, and we'll see if they can come out with a little fire. Okay. It's time for me to say hello. Big hello to Isaac Socksa, Olivia, and Jackson, Wayne and Kelly, and my beautiful mother, Harold Triplett. And Tom and Tom, you're Triplett, listening to us. He's a hard hitter, but I'll tell you what. They got a quarterback going up around James, who is good at this. Definitely a basketball. He's starting to find his way. I'll tell you what. He might be the next big team coming up to the right for the prizes. He's picking up the quarterback position. So how's the mid-to-team going? Well, my little mighty Mike, we play on Sunday. We had a hard butcher last week. They had two touchdown cards back that would have put us in the game if not put us in position to win. But you know what? You win. You win some. You lose some. It kind of reminds you of the first game of the season against Liberty. We're going to go back and forth, back and forth. And this is another game just like that. There might come down to either who has the ball last or who makes that critical mistake at a critical time. So it should be a good second half. It's going to be interesting to see what Coach Coker and Coach Blair come up with. Yeah. Here in the second half to try to pull one out. Indeed. A nail biter for sure. You know, Elkins scoring in Lewis County. It's coming right back. The captains are meeting. I kind of wish they'd get rid of this. You don't like the extra three minutes? Like I said, it'll be the 100 second time that these two teams will face each other over the history of those schools. And, you know, it's always, it's always the time. You know, McCain is going to be fired up to play Okins. Elkins will be fired up to play Buchanan. So right now Tigers got to take care of business here first, but they can worry about that. McCain has got some work to do when they're in to try to keep themselves in the way column as well. So we'll see what folks need you here in the second half. And let's see what kind of shirt down to get for next week. Okay. The Tigers will receive the ball as Lewis County will kick it from right to left. So I'm telling you, this crowd is just amazing. I think it over. I mean, it's crazy. The stands are full. I think Coach Ware said we were somewhere close to 3,000 people in attendance last week. I think the bleachers hold up to 2,200. So that means 7 to 800 people just standing room only, literally. And it's good to see, you know, all the younger kids getting involved, you know, with the cheerleaders and the younger football teams coming in from being recognized. You know, that speaks volumes. Well, I brought my kids. I try to do it every year if I can, but you want your younger kids to see what Friday nights look like. Because that's going to be them at some point. Yeah. That's the approach and things to keep them involved in the game and keep going to get to this point and have the same excitement for them that they're getting the witness tonight. Exactly. All right. So Lewis County kicks off from left to right as we begin second or second half action. And here is the kick. It's a squibber and it's taken into 18. 25, 30. Who is that 35? Is that 40? Oh, the 40 was very important. It was very important. You get to back up over the 40 yard loss. So good field position for the Tigers. They'll get the first possession here at the second half tied at 14. It started for Elkins. But if Lewis County, you have to feel good. In the first two weeks, she scored a total of six points. She's got 14 to hear the first quarter. So after that, I was there for them as well. Now can they do something on defense to swing some momentum back their way? Okay. Elkins with the football at their own 41 yard line. First and 10. And this is the first play of the second half. And it's Bowers and Bowers gets hit pretty hard if he goes down at the 44 yard line. So Bowers picks up three. The second down and seven. As Quincy makes the stop. They have to get you to stop there about Lewis County. You know, right now their focus is number 11 in that backfield. They can't at least play to 12 and 34 because they'll hit you for a home run too. But the focus is going to be fine 12. Let me find 11, 2011. Okay, Sarah wine up over center. Here is the snap and a delayed pitch that goes to Bowers. Bowers 45, Bowers at midfield. And Bowers goes down at about the 48 yard line of the minute. So it looks like it's going to be enough for a first down. 11 minutes, seven seconds to play quarter number three. Elkins and Lewis County tied at 14. Did what someone there by Nick, but that's a good job. But Lewis County stringing him to the sidelines. Not letting him get the big run. They kind of fake one there to Fortney. And I look for them to come back to that and give it to Fortney. And here is the gift on the right side. And there's a flag on the play. It was brought down hard by number 22 Alex. Good one, but it's going to be holding on the Tigers. So holding. Thank you. Holding on the Tigers and. I thought my son. Well, he did. I mean, he gave me 10. I didn't think it was coming back. I thought he was going to sing 11. He actually brought it back. I'm impressed. Look at this. That was your money. I've never seen anything gone. OK, 10 39 to play on a starting clock. The ball back at the 43 yard line. First and 20. Elkins from the 43 yard line. Codd at 14. Uh oh. And that's going to be another one on the Tigers. Yep. But you got a false start. And that was a blessing because Lewis County picked up the ball. And they were going into the end zone. It goes a lot back to the shot. The gap that came through. They're like a freight train. And if that play would have gone, somebody would have gotten smashed. Wow. So that's going to back. Elkins up another five. Look at the difference. Now you're seeing the men in defense. You see them high five under slapping helmets. Yes, they are. There's a little bounce in their stuff. You could hear the Elkins. You got to be careful right here. Indeed. Okay, the ball clear back to the. Let's see. Thirty. Thirty seven yard line. Ten minutes, eight seconds to play. And Elkins with the ball and not hardly anything there at all. Okay. That's why he had a hole there, but. That was a great play about Lewis County. He's got the line. Grows with a great stuff. And that's going to bring up. Let's see. Second at about twenty five. Okay. He hired a driver to go in the room. Thirty eight yard line. And again, this drives ability. Okay. Talk about it. Yes. Can't have him. Okay. And here is to give to Bowers. Bowers hit the backfield and he's going to go down for a loss. Yeah. Ooh. That's back to the thirty five. Now Lewis County defense right now. They're flying into the ball. They got the confidence. And you can see the momentum. Lewis County's bouncing around with little peppernish stuff. Elkins is looking around a little frustrated. Oh, yeah. For answers. Okay. So it's going to be third down in twenty six. From the Oakland thirty six. With eight minutes and fifty five seconds to play quarter number three. Tied at fourteen Lewis County. It's triple it. Look at this. Bowers and Bowers gets up over the forty to about the forty five. So that's going to bring up a punning situation for Elkins. With the ball on their own forty five yard line. The forty four seven off about seventy. So it's four to seventeen. You hit nine yards run by Nick. But the problem is you were thirty twenty six. So, yeah. Now you got to bring on the big O would have come this thing away. Lewis County with a chance to have decent kill positions. No, no. So Stanley. Mote stands back. It is twenty eight yard line. And here's the snap. It's a good one. And this is going to go. Take an Elkins bounce. And it's going to go clear back to the fourteen yard line. So Lewis County will have it first and ten. From their own fourteen yard line. With eight minutes to play. Quarter number three. All tied up fourteen. If it is, we'll see if that Lewis County offense. Has a pretty much at least there's a defense. So first down. And ten. From the fourteen yard line. At their own fourteen. The left. Hashmark. With eight minutes to play. Quarter number three. Eli Jones gets his team out there and ready. Let's say you're going to see a big dose of Alex Goodwin over here. Possibly. Maybe both on the outside. Let's see how they start the second half. Okay. Eight and old acre right out right. Long count. And here is the give and look here. Running with the football is. Packard. And he gets out to the twenty yard. So. That's a good pick up there. It's going to be spotter. Twenty one. One brain. Second down and two. The ball is a twenty three yard line. Right half mark. Twenty three. Seven thirty six to play. Third quarter. Fourteen fourteen to four. Jones. And here is the give and off the right. Goes good one. And he has enough for the first down. As he hops over the twenty five to about twenty seven. That's about 170 pounds. He's about 240. Yeah. He runs hard. Fourteen on the stop. Seven minutes. Fifteen seconds to play. And they get up to the line quick. Okay. And here is the gift to a court. He's breaking tackle. He's up over thirty thirty five. Close to the forty yard line. That could be another first down. Well, we do have hope. We do have a twenty three yard line. They're on the twenty three. Let's see if we get a hold on that right side of. This guy is off the line. Whoops. They're calling the flag off. So they pick up the flag. So first down from the minute men. At their own thirty nine yard line. With seven oh three to play third quarter. He's going to see the conscious. Hmm. No. Well, you weren't kidding. There was a flag. They picked it up. Okay. Jones up over center. And Jones. Gives the ball off. And carrying it for a couple yards. We'll be here right now. Good one again. So Jaden Harding in order to make the stop. He picks up three. So it's going to be second down and seven. From their own forty two. And the right. Hashmark is a move from right to left. Six minutes. Twenty two seconds on the clock. Well, good. It looks like we'll kind of figure out something on their right side. Yes, I think. I just left some of that defense. It's working right now. Again, they run it to the right side and up over the forty five. Do any. Dragon. Look at this. And good one drives people with him into Elkins territory where it's going to be spotted at the Elkins forty eight yard line. Wow. He looks like one of those bags. That gets stronger if the game gets longer. And he just he was stopped for about two yard games. I think you know you're up to about ten more carrying people. Mm hmm. Exactly six minutes to go. Turning quarter turning clock third quarter fourteen fourteen. I don't know what they were turning quarter. Yeah. And Lewis County on the move. I saw movement that here's to give anyhow to record and accord is going to be brought down around the forty yard line. Again, that right side. Yeah. They found something on their offensive right side and they're saying it's working well. The second down in three. From the Elkins forty one yard line ball at the right hash. Clocked down to five minutes and fifteen seconds to play quarter number three. I did fourteen with Lewis County. And they're moving the ball. They're doing exactly what they want to do right now. They're trying to true clock. Yeah, they want to wear this bigger defense down take the time off the clock. Okay. Here's the snap. And here's again. Again, the right side. The good one and good one. He's dragging people with him and he gets down to the Elkins thirty five yard line. We're going to go another first down for the middle. They're ripping off games of five yards. Six yards. Eight yards. Yes. They are controlling the third quarter right now. Moving with authority. Clocked down to four minutes and fifty seconds to play third quarter tied at fourteen in Lewis County. Slowly knocking on the door at the Elkins thirty five yard line. Oh, there are no hurry. They still got twenty on the clock. They're probably going to lend this thing down. If they're smart inside of about five seconds. Let's see. That's it. And here is the gift. And this time, Elkins piles up one good. And he may have gotten a lot of experiments. Nope. They say he lose this one. I put the roster on there. He did. The second and eleven from the Tiger thirty seven. And again, that clocked down to four minutes and ten seconds to play quarter number three. We're tied at seventeen. So Eli Jones up over center. They have a wide out to the right and brown, but I don't think he'll see the ball. Oh, no. Well, look at this. He's back. Why not? He's in the elephant. And at the ten, the five. And get in. And that would scare. No. He got to complete the game. So what was that? Thirty seven. Thirty six yards. Thirty six yards. Wow. Caught the Tiger sleeping. They said run, run, run, run, run. And when you least expect it, they went over the top. Hit most down that right sideline for a big gain and a big score. That comes with three minutes and fifty one seconds to play quarter number three. The old acre. Fifty extra points. And most is the holder. It's the snap. It's good. And the kick is up. It's high enough. It's long enough. But it's no good. It's off to the left. So twenty to fourteen. The lead. Lewis County. Back with the kick after these messages on ninety eight nine W.D. At my age, I know what's worth worrying about and what's not. And that perspective makes enjoying life easier. But getting up and around. That's not so easy. Extra help is here with Mountaineer. Lewis County retakes the lead 20 to 14 with three minutes and 51 seconds to play in quarter number three. Well, momentum's a real thing. And Lewis County had the momentum on defense. They bounced them. They're half-five each other. And they carried her to the offense. And they caught that Tiger defense sleeping. Hit a pass down that right sideline. Now they're up to touchdown. Hey, old acre to kick it off from right to left. And here comes the kick. And it's a squibber. And it's going to be picked up by one of the upmen at the 19. And still on his feet at the 30-35. And finally brought down at the 37 yard line. Well, there you go. That's on the first level. So the ball will be at the Elkins. 38 yard line. First and 10 Tigers. 343 to play. Third quarter. Who was that that random ball to be? It was a lot of Jones. Okay. It's a good freshman on the carry. Now I'm going to mention to see. Which wears straight to what they do. Or does he try to throw in some trickery in the finish here? It's interesting. Well, you still have plenty of time. Sort of. You don't want to give Lewis County the ball back here, either. Right. Right. First and 10 Elkins. And here is the give up over the 40 to about the 42 yard line. Is there a flag on the play? Well, I'm telling you if there is. Lewis County is getting the ball by the second second and a half late. They may be very careful before they end up with a personal foul call. Second and seven. The ball at the Elkins 42 yard line with 313 to play on a turning clock third quarter. Lewis County up six points. And here is the give. Look at this. Wow. Nowers is going nowhere. Boy number 52 Maddox Gillespie shot the gap and met Nick Haddick's right in the hole. Wow. The race played by Gillespie. So that's going to bring up third and long for Elkins. Two minutes and 47 seconds on a turning clock. Elkins trailing 20 to 14. Again, he's 37. You definitely don't want to give the ball back. You'll see what they bow up here. Okay. Up over center. There are one. And here is the give. Off the right side. And up over midfield. With the carry. And that's still it. Thank you. First down out. Lewis County is expecting to see a dose of 11 right there. And the ball is going to be on the 49 yard line of Lewis County. And on the right hash mark two minutes and 23 seconds to play quarter number three. Elkins trailing 20 to 14. Good job. I keep the field cutting that ball off the field. Make sure he gets that first down. Yes, indeed. Okay. First and 10 Elkins. And here is the give again off that right side. Bowers. 45. 40 hours. I mean, somebody on the second. They've gotten very close. We do have an injured mountain on the field. So Elkins will have a first down at the 32 yard line of Lewis County trailing 20 to 14. Wow. Yeah, gotta be careful for Lewis County. You got a couple of guys coming in just a couple of seconds after the whistle. And so far, the referee's haven't seen that. Right. You're in the ball game right now. You're actually leading. You don't want to do anything. It's going to flip yourself in jeopardy right here. No. That's your Lewis County. Not by any means. Okay. They're whistling the teams back. So. Not a bad injury. No, he helped light up them. Yep, he did. Right itself off the father. So ready to sit out of play. But he's saying, Hey, coach, I'm ready. Well, I'm ready to play. Okay. Elkins has a first and 10 from the Lewis County 32 yard line. Right hash mark trailing 20 to 14. And they start the clock down to two minutes. Order number three. Tower line up over center. And here is to give the bowers again. Bowers hit the backfield flags all over the place. Well. She has the left. He got. White pressure. The Lewis County actually knocked Evan Holper back into Bowers. And you've got laundry on the field. Yep. And it's going to be holding me against the Tigers. Wow. They had 50 yards of that's going to be declined. Oh, wait a minute. They had personal phone. Oh, okay. Okay. Offsetting penalties. And that's twice tonight we've seen offsetting penalties. All right. So. Play it again, Sam. First and 10. Well, there's one always where things tend to get chippy. But you've got to keep your composure for both teams. Yes, you do. Okay. Tower line up over center. And this time. Bowers with nowhere to go. As he might have picked up the yard on that one. Well, that was a good little sit in the hole. Listen to him there. So 31 yard line. And that's going to bring up second down. Second and eight. One minute. 25 seconds to play. Order number three. Elkins with the ball from the Lewis County 31 yard line. Right hash mark trailing 20 to 14. One minute. 11 seconds to go on the clock. And that's the game clock for the third quarter. Okay. Tower line. And he gives the Bowers again. Bowers hit in the back field, but another flag on the flag. It's nearly purple. I don't think that handoff is saying it was very clean. Oh, it's a face mask against Lewis County. Oh, that's a big one. Wow. And some of the football players trying to get the Packers. To start cheering a little harder. Okay. And that's going to move the ball. Let's see where they were going to spot it. So it's a face mask. Hit them with the 15. I'm not sure. I believe so, D. Yeah. They're going. Yeah. They're going to be spot to ball. 14. I believe you're somewhere right around the 52-14 yard line. Yeah. You're right. Okay. First down and 10. And the 50 yard line of the minute men was under a minute to play quarter number three. Elkins trailing 20 to 14, but knocking on that door. It's going to play football here. Don't get yourself in trouble. These penalties are starting to hurt both teams. Yes, they are. Okay. Here's the snap. And here is the gift on the right side. And that's Fortney. I believe. Yeah. And Fortney. Another late flag. A very late flag. Well, there's there's the lecture of trickler stuff going on down there. And there's piles. Yes, there has been. Yeah. I'm glad they're addressing it. Yes. Well, this is almost one of those moments when you go to both sidelines and say, Hey, yeah, coaches. That's enough. We're done. Personal foul. Lewis County. Wow. Oh boy. That's two big ones. I think 15 yards. Big math and a personal foul. That's another. Halfway. That's going to go down. Round the one yard line. About the seven yards. Yeah. Seven yard line. First can go. Elkins with 41.1 seconds to play quarter number three, 20 to 14, Lewis County with the lead and Elkins knocking at the door. It's like the referees are going to take their own time out. Okay. First and goal. And let's see. Actually, it's at the nine yard line, eight yard line, right? Eight yard line. So, yeah. Seven yard line. Seven yard line. That's soccer line gets me every time. I know. Me too. Okay. I'm not sure what the officials were talking about. Well, it says right now. Both teams need to get some composure here. It's a tight ball game. Lewis County had two silly fouls back to back. And I just got the tighter just out the red zone. Okay. Yep. We got what's with the game. In the fans are getting a little impatient. Coach, come on. I'm trying to run away. Okay. The clock down to 18.6 seconds. I'm not sure what the distress thing is. I don't know. There's no coaches involved. So, it's got to be something different. Yeah. Well, maybe you're looking at what the ball should be placed. Oh, okay. Okay. It's second down. Yeah. It's about two yards to go. I think, well, one or two. It looks like they've got the yard marker right around the six-yard line. Okay. So, second and short for Oakland. I think they're just making sure they had to change that right. Yeah. The chains actually had laid down. I don't think it was going to go. Indeed, it's not. Okay. The clock down to 12 seconds, and Oakland says, "Get to play off." And guess what? Another one. Another laundry. And this one's going to be on Oakland, both sides. Yeah. You almost expected it. After all that, you had quite a delay between plays there. Yes. Oakland's going to have to try to get a play off. And a little tear. And now the ball's going to be spotted back at the Lewis County. 12-yard line. Now you're back to second seven when you had it second two. It's just probably going to be the last play at the third quarter. 12-yard line. Okay. 8.8 seconds to play in the third quarter. Elkins trailing by one. We get one. Uh-oh. And we got it. Oh, my goodness. I think Bowers got back. Oh, God. Oh, my God. And that's going to end three quarters of action. Lewis County, 20. Elkins, 14. Back with four quarter after these messages. A 98-9 WPD. Now through September 30th. You can get up to $200 back on select good year tires at Glottfeldy Tire Centering Alkins. And Alkins putting themselves in a bad situation here where third down in 23 yards to go for a first count in the ball is at the Lewis County 28 yard mark. That's right now that Alkins has been third and over 20. He was third and 26 earlier because of penalties. Now we're sitting with the ball and around third and 23. Okay, and now we'll begin fourth quarter action. Alkins trailing 20 to 14. And here is the give and oh my goodness. The loss on the play at Fortney is hitting the backfield. And that's going to bring up a fourth down and long. I'll show you what. Madison, let's be just having one heck of a second. Half for this loot county men and men defense. Yes. He is fired off the bar like the game just started. Why? He read that perfectly. He seemed built for any common motion. And he blew that play up from the get go. All right. So now it's fourth down and the ball back to the. Thirty two yard line and they have to get to the six yard live. I don't want to speak about putting here. Twenty six yards to go fourth down. And look here. Alkins is going to pass the ball and it's gone. It's gone. It's gone. It's gone. Twenty six yards. And he was that. That will let you know the senior. Both catch of the season. First time they played football and all he does is catch a. Thirty two yard touchdown pass. And it's taken a moment. It comes with eleven every nine to play. That's the order. What a bomb on Nick power line. He put that there. You're only quick to get it. Hey, quick to go. That was amazing. Okay. Elkins. It's twenty twenty. Elkins is going to line up for two. And here is to get the baller and. He did not make it. So two point conversion. No good. Again. Wow. Oh, it's a twenty twenty back with the kick after these. Let's see if this one. And what a game this has been to. I mean, my goodness. Tiger is trying for the two point conversion to take the lead. But Lewis County shuts the door. Works hot at 20 with 1109 to play. It's ball game. Both teams with a ton of penalties on both sides. But those teams also hitting big players when needed. Elkins hit a huge one right there. I think Lewis County. Again, they didn't expect Elkins to play that fast. Right? Like Elkins didn't expect Lewis County to hit theirs earlier as well. So, good dial up there by Coach Nef. Oh yeah. For sure. Games tight at 20. This is going to be who has bar last. And who can quit making their critical mistakes? So, DeAngelo will kick it off from left to right. 1109 to play in the ball game. 20-24. And the last one he puts in the end zone for a touch back. We'll see what he does here. He picks up the airport last time. And here's a long kick. It's going to go back for a touch back. Well, it almost stayed in. Yeah, it sounds right near that goal line. Okay, so a touch back will give the minute man first and pin on their own 20 yard line. Tied up at 20 apiece. Well, let's see what Lewis County has in the bag of tricks. I know. This is really exciting now. This is Elkins Liberty all over again. Indeed. Both teams have to quit making the mistakes. That's one of these crucial penalties is what's going to cost them in this game. Either way. Okay. Eli Jones up over center. And I believe we might see a little taste of good one here. Well, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Okay, here's a snap. And it's good one from the left side. Good one dragged down from behind, but not after he picks up the urgency. Yes, thank over made a great place. It's able to chase good one down on the backside for a short game. Yep. The ball's going to be placed in the 22 yard line. Second down and a long sever. 1042 to play in the ball game. Tied at 20. Lewis County moving from left to right. That's a great play by Devas over. Here's the good one. And good one's going to be hit hard. And Elkins turned up the defense here. Yep. Number 77 again. Devas over over. I wish he'd take those yellow shoes off. Are you saying you don't like this yellow big bird shoe? Third down. Hey, if he can, I don't care what color his shoes are, you know. You play like that. Yes. Now the crowd starting to get into it. Third down and a long seven for the minute men. Devas are out 22 yard line. Well, you've got the first ball shaking over here. Yeah, you do. Thumb ball. Oh boy. And the quarterback gets it and it's going to be run out of bounce. So bad snap. That's going to bring up floor down. And as the ball is going to be placed where? It's going to go back to the funny. Oh, give it about your own. So it's going to be forced down and long. Okay. Let's see if the tiger should have come after this part. Okay. Old acre. It's funded away. I'm going to see that's number 11. Yeah. Bowers. Okay. No, no, there's a neck bowers. Don't kick a film. Clocked. They clocked down to three. They get to snap off. He's got a letter. Look at this. He says at 25. Can Elkins get in? No. Not before he gets the first down. What? They call it. Is that a gamble by coach Kroger? It paid off. Wow. And that's going to bring up first down for the minute, man. At their own thirty six yard line. At the right half. Nine minutes. Forty one seconds to play in the ball game. Toss for Elkins. Twenty Lewis County. Twenty. Boy, that quieted the crowd down. Yes, it did. What a gut he called. Deep in your own territory. Momentum, not on your side. And you call that. Wow. What a call. Very gutsy. Yes, it is. Okay. Get it up over center. And here is the gift. The good one. And guess what? He's hit hard. And he looks like he might lose the yard on that. Yeah. Well, the letter is right there in the whole waiting for it. Yeah. Ryder floats that up quick. Ryder is on this phone. It's going to be a loss of the yard. At the thirty five. Second and eleven. Ball at the right half mark. Second and eleven for the minute, man. It's been 19 to play in the ball game. And Lewis County is going to talk things over. So, with a break and they actually will cost thirty seconds for 98. Now, it's up to you. Are you in need of top quality building products for your next project? Lewis County with the football. They had their own thirty five on the right hash and they moved from our right to left. Just because they may have just had the call again. Lewis County walks out of here to win. It's because of that call right there. It's very well been. Yeah. Well, they didn't score. Bridgeport just rolling. It's 50 to nothing of reef grandma right now. And the fourth quarter. So it looks like Bridgeport's under good. Three games in a row will shut out. Wow. Yikes. Okay. Second and 11 for the minute men. Jones up over center. And here is misdirection. And the give is going to be the month that he's going to lose going. Nick Bowers was all over that. He nearly had Jones back in the backfield. He's only going to go right before that one got there. 34. I was to put you on the play and chase most down. Actually for a lesser one. Yep. The ball's going to be spotted at the Lewis County 34 right in the middle of the field. So we're just going to bring up third and 12 for the minute men eight minutes and 51 seconds to play in the ball game. What a play. What a big moment right here. How about this? Yes, sir. We like fighting that fence on. Okay, good. That's over center. We does have a lot out to the left. And he's back to pass. And here is the pass and almost center center. Almost intercept. Oh, that's going to bring up four down and we'll see what the call is going to be. I'm not guessing a thing. No way. I don't know if you rolled the dice twice. You might just kick this on the way and play defense. But yeah, who knows at this point? That's right. Who knows? Eight minutes, 33 seconds left in the ball game. Third down and 12 for the minute men. And this time they punted away. It's a very high short kick. And it's going to be down at the Elton 32 yard line where Elton will have it. First and 10 with 82 to play in the ball game. Oh, that you did a smart thing. You tried to angle that point away from Bowers. Yeah, didn't get much into it. So Elton's will take over with good field position. Eight minutes and 22 seconds left in the ball game. Todd, 2020. And Elton has it from the left hash mark at their own 32 yard line. Oh, there's nothing like that. It's football game. What a chess match. Oh, man. You better believe it. Or any. Okay. Eli Jones, excuse me, sour wine up over center. And here is the give to Bowers. Bowers, stiff arms, stiff arms, one guy. And he's going to pick up maybe a yard. No one accord right there on the side. And they're going to say no. Gain. Yeah. Nope. They gave me. They did give me two yards. Yeah. Okay. So it's a 34 yard line. Eight 15 to play in the ball game. Second down and eight for Elton. At their own 34 yard line. Todd, it's 20. Yeah. Yeah. They are. What a defensive game. That young man has been on. Everywhere field on both sides. He's played what a heck of a game. Yes, he has. Well, what's the last issues. He would make your damage up front for. That defensive part for Lewis County. Let's see if that's higher. Office. Keep those guys in check. Okay. Eight 15 because Bowers was out about. Smartly. Wisely, I can say. And he goes out about the 35 yard line. At their center line. Paul's his own number. Which he did. Wow. Lots of tricks coming out. Well, again, this is a game where you have to play. Jack not checkers. I mean, he's just going to come down to who makes that one play. That wins you the ball game. And, you know, we're seeing some. People get the ball in critical moments and nobody don't get them in that spot. Hey, Elkins has it at the right hash mark at their own 45 yard line. Todd at 20. Eight of seven to play in the ball game. Okay. Mm hmm. And oh, I missed it. Star one gets the Bowers gets the running room. He's up over midfield to the 45 and finally knocked out at about the 40 yard line. I'll tell you what. That was a call saying Nick coming left. I thought they were going to. I did. If he would have caught that, he was 60 other way. Mm hmm. The tiger first and 10 from the Minutemen 40 yard line on the left hash mark moving from right to left. Eight minutes to play in the ball game. We're tied at 20. Good job on Nick to keep the concentration and gain 15 out of that. Mm hmm. Okay, long count and it's the Bowers again on the left side and Bowers picks up about three. So second down and seven. That's the second time of the ball game. It's going over 300 yards for the game. It's over 200 before that long. Uh, missed communication that. I'm off the Tiger 17 yards, but he's getting that back and he said that 28 carries 206 yards in my book right now. So third game there right now, Nick Bowers over 200 yards. Second and seven, seven and a half minutes to play in the ball game. Go comes with the ball. On the 37 yard line of Lewis County. Oh, I snapped her high pitch rather, I should say. And I thought for a minute there that it was not going to be caught. That was good for down. That's the second one. Let's go if he's at least off please. The ball is a 35 yard line on the left hand. Third and five. And they've been running on the left side. Well, he's going to go behind the big dog and Lambert, the senior. And I think there's only a freshman, but he's playing like he's a senior. He's been all in the first couple of games. So you need critical yards. Seven bad options. Seven minutes, 17 seconds to play in the ball game. Tied at 20. Go comes with the ball at the 35 yard line of Lewis County. And here is to give the bowers. Bowers making a whole for himself. Sorry. Twenty five. Twenty seven. And Bowers is down at about the 18 yard line. Oh, he's just about perfect. That was all bowers. All hundred of us there. I mean, he was hit right at the line of scrimmage and he drugged people with him. And now the ball is at the 18 yard line in the red, the 18 yard line on the left hash. Seven minutes to play in the ball game. Tied at 20. Wow. Pretty good game. He broke about two or three tackles. You killed a couple of guys. Wow. Okay. Bowers again. This time he hit the backfield. Madison left because I was still here. Yep. And this is going to be for a loss. Boy, that kid is perfect. Yes. Wow. And the ball is going to go back to the 22 yard line, which is going to be second down. And a long 13. Six and a half minutes to play in the ball game. Tied at 20. Right now, if you search where you got to be preaching. Hang on to the football. Indeed. You know, Lewis Kelly's going to try to strip. Okay. And here is the gift. And Bowers off the right side. It's up over the 20 to about the original line of Germany. So that's going to bring up third. Actually third in 11. With six minutes to play in the ball game. We're tied at 20. And Elkins just inside the red zone. Third down and 11. This is a big play for both. All Saints and defense. And he would have got to get a stop. Once the Tigers knew a fourth down, all the fourth down. Good chance, but. See what Elkins does here. And back to basketball with Sarah line. Oh, that's good. I'm not so sure that would have gone for a first down. Well, it would have been close because again, nobody expected it. The ball was thrown a little bit behind Caden, but had he caught that he had a little bit of room to work with on that right side. Okay, so now it's fourth down and 11. Ball at the left hash mark, just inside the 20. Looks like they're going to bring Lucas to Angela. I want to try one from about. Oh, we're here. About 30, 37 yards. Okay. 36, 37 yards here. About 37. Let's see what happens here. Here's a snap. That's what here's the cat can. It's no good. Yeah, he didn't get all that one. No, so no good. So Lewis County will take over on down. We're tied 2020 with 535 to play in the ball game. Don't you move? No, don't you move. And don't forget next week, Elkins on the road to Buck Cannon Upsure. And if you can't make it, you can always hear it right here on 98 nine. It's going to be D and E as the manor Smith, who'll bring it to you. And kick off it. Seven, three games, 645. We got to go in here, don't we? Yes, sir. That's what we do. This is what's great about high school football. The excitement, you know, the highs, the lows. Yeah. And who can come out on top and pull one out. Okay. The ball at the 20 yard line, five minutes and 35 seconds to play in the ball game. Tied at 20. Lewis County with the ball. What you going to do? What you got? Okay. He like it. And here is the gift and this time it's to own a court and he's going to be brought down after a gain of about five. Looks like he had a little creep there for a moment, but he's not to careful with that football. He kind of had that thing hanging out there for a moment. Yeah. Second down and five for the minute men. Coach Foger is going to be screaming. Oh, security. Oh, I didn't see the penalty. I didn't see that either, but. Oh, I'm going to go again. Got chop block. Oh, chop block. Oh, somebody went low. How low can you go? Well, too low, obviously. Way too low. Let the no-no. Yep. No-no on the low-low. Okay. So they're going to mark off the penalty and the officials go over and talk to Coach Koga. That's a big penalty. That's a big thing. Yep. It sure is. And that's going to take the ball clear back to the 10 yard line. So that's going to bring up first down to 20. Well, again, we're both teams not having much of a pass game or not relying on the pass game. Putting yourself in these long, second, third and fourth down positions is not where they want to be. Okay. The ball right in the middle of the field at their own 10 yard line. Lewis County, 522 to play in the ball game tied at 20. Lewis, they're still out of this hole. So they are deep right now. Yes, they are. Okay. And the umpire says, let's get this thing started. And that looks like motion. Well, you had one guy motion. It looked like another one went to the same time. So moving on back into the five. Mm-hmm. Now it's back to the five yard line. You're losing your mind right now. First and 25 to go. 522 to play in the ball game, clock starts now, tied at 20. Oh boy. This is literally going to come down the last position. Probably. Going up over center and here is the gift of the big guy. And that's a good one. A good one's going to pick up. Five yards. Actually, the ball is at the nine yard line. Still got seconds out and western the gate. They've got a long ways to go. 23 yards to get the first down. Four minutes and 35 seconds on a turning clock. 420. You said that a ton of money. 23 26. All right. Now here's. Hello. Look at that. I think that's what they're going to say. We got to be good. And moat is going to be stopped back at the one yard line. Yeah, he was just outside the goal line to the Lewis County. Good. When they go to the whistle. So actually, it's going to be. At the point of the three yard line. There's going to be third and 28. Three minutes and 52 seconds to play in the ball game. I did 30. Elkins and Lewis County. Wow. Okay, John. And here is the give off the right side and Elkins has. Good one. That's going to bring up force down and off. Not the series you want to feel Lewis County. That didn't have happened at a worse time. Yeah. All the way around. Okay, so four down and the ball. Is that the. Seven yard line where it's four down. 25 instead of to have. Very, very, very good field position. Yeah. Whether Nick touches this or not. Yeah, I don't look for a fake pun here. If you do. Yeah. What a call. It's going to bring up some of them in zone and got a whole round. Bowers will take it at the 70 yard line. Bowers, 30 feet to 40. Thirty five dollars. Twenty five. Twenty five. Twenty five. Twenty five. Fifty. Two. Bowers. Wow. What a return. That's up for Nick Bowers. That was a great fit by Ole here. But boy, he kicked it right. The Bowers. He put the ball in his hands. That's what happened. Is there a flag on the play? Yes, there is. There is. I think it's going to give Lewis County with the lead. Okay. Personal five. Lewis County. Oh boy. That's going to go halfway to the goals. So, Elkins will have it first down and goals from the five yard line. With two minutes and 43 seconds to play in the ball game. Twenty twenty to score. Coach Koeger is going to have a whole lot to talk about. But this team after this game, because they were right there in this thing. And now you're in jeopardy of allowing Elkins to punch one in here and take a lead. And your offense has been spluttering. So, actually the ball is at the eight yard line D, right? And it looks like you're right around the seven or eight yard line. Okay. First and goal Tigers. Let's see what happens here. First and goal. That's Lewis County. Lewis County's going to have to step up on defense and let's see if Elkins can happen a while. It was on the big mistakes. Okay. The crowd very quiet now. Looking for the big one. Bowers on the right track. Bowers. That's a stop. Bowers. That's a three. That's down. Bowers. Eight yards up. Six dollars. Let it out. Go to Bowers. Oh, wow. So, Bowers runs it back, runs it in from eight yards. 26.20. Elkins goes up six and they're going to bring the Angelo out to kick the extra point. Try to kick the extra. Still two minutes and 37 seconds left in the ball game. And the kick is up and it is good. 27.20 answers. Hang on to your seat. Back with a kick off after these messages on 98.9.W.D.D. And welcome back to Elkins High School football stadium, 2 minutes and 7 seconds remaining in the ballgame. Lewis County has the football on their own 18-yard line, where it's 2nd and 12, trailing Elkins 27.20. They are crowd-drawing the fans, all of the guys. One heck of a ballgame. Let's see if the Tigers can finish. Let's see if Lewis has an answer. Okay, and eight and old Acre is to wide out to the right. And quarterback keeper, he runs left side, and he's going to be knocked out at about the... (inaudible) The Jones State at home on that, that was a good play there. And that's a person. Yeah, it's a good job by him to stay at home. The ball's going to only go to about the 23-yard line, where it's going to be 3rd down in 7th, 2 minutes to play in the ballgame. Elkins 27, Lewis County 20. They just play out of the game for Lewis County right here. Ball like a left hatch. Most of this time comes out wide right. And back to back to ball. In front of this, but it's caught. And not going to be a 1st down there. Well, it may not be a 1st down, it might be a 1st short, but you know what? Yes, it is. Either way. O and a 4th caught the ball, and that's going to bring up 4th down in about 2. This 141 is a clock firm in the 4th quarter. 4 to 2. And this could be the biggest play of the ballgame. Yeah, this is the biggest play. You get it, you continue the drive, you don't, Elkins take that over and... Yep. It's a good shape for each other to run this thing out. Okay, the play clock is down to 5. And here is the gear that it's going to be a 1st down. As the big boy takes it out to about the 35 yard line. And of course, that's a good one. The 1st down minute, men. At their own 35 yard line, ball on the right hash, they move from our left to right. 1 minute and 6 seconds to go in the ballgame as the clock winds down. And this time to give us the most. And most is going to be hit for a lot. Maybe that makes it a lot of screaming. I think that was a bunch of players. It looked like he was looking for a reverse right there. The other guy that had to come in motion. Right. He had to keep the ball and make the best of it. And now the clock's running. Yeah, they only have one time out left. And look at coach Kroger. Come on guys, get on the line. That's two. 37 seconds. A lot of time. Yeah, lots of time. Okay, back to pass again. Oh, and... And one of the open players got their hands on the quarterback, which they can throw a little bit short. So the pass goes in complete with 28 seconds to play the ballgame. And it's going to be served out in 10 for the bit of it. Well, it's a little crowded. That's okay, because it's a complete match. That's the clock. Again, time to regroup. And just the guy's cut versus how he completed that. Being short. Walked to still be running. Okay, the ball is a 35 yard line. They're only 35 on the right hash mark with 28 seconds to play in the ballgame. Elk is 27. Lewis County, 20. What a game. What a game. Hell, what a game. All right, Joe. From the shotgun. Back to throws. And time. Going deep and so were throws everybody. So now it's going to be forced down in 10 days. Well, here's the ballgame. Oh boy, it's he hot. Well, the wide receiver. Actually came back when he should have kept going. He had a dress on the defender. And I can't see that is over there. I think it's. Oh, daker. Yeah. Oh, daker. He had a set. Oh, the defender. We can turn back. Yeah. And the minute made files are last time out. With 23.5 seconds to go in the ballgame. Trailing, Elk is 27.20. What a game. And the band will be performing after the game. Along with the middle school band, I believe. Yes. And that should be very interesting. Well, again, you know, it's been a long time. For us to have a slight minute right here like this. And the crowd, the feet of bands, the feet, the young kids, the feet of excitement on the sidelines. This is awesome. This is awesome. Yeah. You know, both teams playing their hearts out tonight. Right. Man. The last time there was a type of buzz like this was 2020. Yeah. They really got the crowd. But there's nothing funny about doing it. That was a total year. You know, you didn't really have to. You didn't have files like this. Okay. The crowd is up and cheering. Where the minimum has a force of 10 from their own 35 yard line with 23.5 seconds to go. In the ball game, trailing Elkin. 27 20. Well, this is it. You're going to see these fingers defenders. Probably take a few steps backwards. Yeah. I would presume. And again, Lewis County out of Tom. Oh, this is it. Go down. You either get pin. You try to get another playoff quickly or. They just get the ball and go in there to formation. Yeah. All right. Here's the snap. Shotgun. Back to throw the ball and it's almost center. And Elkins will take over on down. First and 10 with 18.5 seconds to go. And Elkins will get in their victory stance. Tell you what, Nick Bowers came off that left side of the fly. A whole lot of pressure. A couple seconds before he wanted to. The Tigers. A week one. It didn't go the way. They have another one that was played the same way. And guess what? This one is going to get it. They're going to get it. Yes, they are. What a growing moment for these young men, the coaching staff. To be able to come out victorious at home. Okay. That's a lot of fun. It's 18.5 seconds to go in the game. Elkins 27. Lewis County 20. And the victory formation. Right here. Take a knee, Nate Bowers. Sour wine. He's making it out. What do I say? Elkins battling it. They're not going to call it. And that's the ball game. They're going to get it. With the 27. 20 victory over the minute men of Lewis County. This is awesome. This sure is. Wow. A game. And we'll be back with the bar doors, outdoor power. It's like the post game show.
