On Kiss 101. Wow. Good morning, everybody. I'm sorry. That was kind of a dramatic pause at the start of the show, Lisa. I liked it. It worked for me. Every so often, you know what it is? It's an attention grabber. You know, you'll hold off. For a few seconds, everybody gets all antsy. Well, especially on Friday the 13th. Yeah. Yeah, it's like edge of your seat stop. You don't know what could go wrong on this day. I don't want to scare anyone. But I'm going to give it to you straight about Jason. His body was never recovered from the lake after you drowned. Have you listened to the old timers in town? That's how you're still out there. Some sort of demented creature. Surviving the wilderness. Friday the 13th. And here we are. Superstitions, anyone? I guess that's something we'll talk about on the show this morning, right? 715. If you have any crazy superstitions, we want to hear them. Yeah, do you even think twice about Friday the 13th? Like you'll wake up this morning. You'll say, oh, that's right. It's Friday the 13th. So what does that mean to you? Well, I know Lisa does. I do. I was planning a birthday party for one of my kids with another mother. And it came up as this is a possible date. And I said, we're not having a birthday party, a zip lining birthday party. Friday the 13th. No way. Something's going to go wrong. You fell victim. I'm telling you, I had other dates to choose from. And I was like, let's move on from this date. Especially with zip lining. Yeah, accidents and stuff. It's funny, my mom is one of 13 and the 13th child was born on Friday the 13th. Oh, and no one likes him. Oh, you know what I mean? They feel weird around you. Oh, he's like the worst human. Like I can't stand the guy. Like he's my uncle, obviously. I'm not the worst human, but he's just so unlikable. And yeah, he was the 13th child one. So maybe he like absorbed all of the 13th stuff. Wow. That's bad energy right there. Yeah, he's a bad energy type of guy. Well, here's the question. When did the superstition around Friday the 13th actually begin? Well, we're going to have all that information. Lisa has it. We have facts. Yeah, we're going to talk about it 715. We'll hold it for that because we have to spend some time on this. Okay. Yeah. All right. So it's new music Friday. And it's a big one, right, Justin? You've got some big songs lined up for Will premieres today. Yeah. And from the weekend, Tate McCray, we'll have both those songs after 7, after 8 o'clock for New Music Friday. It's also new music from everyone, Katy Perry, Sean Mendez, Charlie XCX. Everyone's dropping music this week. Yeah. And Dua Lipa's announcing the tour. She's bringing it to Boston. We've got those dates for you. By the way, Dua Lipa going to be on 60 minutes Sunday night. Oh, and that's the lead in from your food show, Billy. You're the opening act for Dua Lipa. Yes. Well, I do a show on WBC News Radio Sunday night. They night at a six o'clock food for thought. And yeah, we are the opening act every week for 60 minutes. Do you understand how big a deal that was for me when we were talking about doing this Sunday night show? When they said, well, you could be the lead in for 60 minutes. I said, that's it. Yeah. That's my career right there. I waited all these years and now I'm a part of 60. I legitimately feel like I'm a part of 60 minutes. And you know what, funny Bill, until you're you talking about this, I didn't know 60 minutes is still on the radio. I knew it was only on TV. I didn't need her. Oh, yes. CBS Sunday nights. By the way, Sunday night is the start of 60 minutes 57th season. Wow. It's a good program. I guess so. And of course, you know, Anderson Cooper is on. So Lisa loves him. Well, he's doing the Dua Lipa interview. Yeah. You know that anytime that Billy will book somebody for his food show, he'll do it, you know, sometimes he'll just do it randomly, you know, so you want to come on my food show? It is Sunday nights before 60 minutes. Of course. And my favorite part of the show every single Sunday night is the very end when I get to say the words up next 60 minutes. Are you kidding me? That's so cool, Bill. I'm attached to 60 minutes. So Sunday night you'll get Billy in the food show in Dua Lipa. It's Dua Lipa with Billy Costa. So now we're all teaming up Sunday night. Me, Dua Lipa, Anderson Cooper, and 60 minutes. Okay, that's who you're sitting with right now. That's a very gay day. Okay. I wasn't going to go there. Ryan's Dua Lipa gay to it. The gay lover, you know, and the gay's. Oh, okay. She's got a huge gay following and Anderson is very gay. And then you're questioning. He's my number one. Oh, yeah. You've wanted to sleep with Anderson Cooper since I met you. I've loved him since the beginning. Yeah. He's very handsome man. Who would you sleep with first if you were given the opportunity? Would it be Anderson Cooper, Chris Martin, or Sting? Oh, God. I don't know. Sting has some good energy. Sting has some good energy. He's into that tantric stuff. I was going to say that's a club game Lisa. Marikiss Kill. Who are you doing? Who are you doing? I actually would probably fix Sting. Yeah. It's still going with Sting and you're going to see him, right? He's coming to Boston. Well, I'm trying to go see him. He'll be at the MGM Music Hall in October. We have to. Justin, I always say it. You're the best executive producer on the planet. Tickets we know we're getting for Lisa, right? But no, you need to get a sit down with Sting for Lisa. I can't promise that. Oh, come on. I'll try. Why bother lifting 500 pounds if you can't even get Sting in a chair? I'll do my best. God, what is with you? By the way, your bodyguard idol died. I mean, your bodybuilder. Well, he's not my idol. Oh, come on. No, this guy who was the world's biggest bodybuilder, he dropped dead. And he's like 36 years old. His basically his heart exploded from all the steroids. Yeah. And yeah, it's a sad situation. He ate five pounds of steak a day. And a hundred pieces of sushi. A day? Every day. I just don't think that's good for the body. No, it's definitely not. It's a lot of heavy metals. I'm thinking about how many bodybuilders passed away early. Like it's definitely a lot. No, it's a real problem in bodybuilding. Yeah. Because the amount of drugs they're taking is just way too much. Yeah. But I don't think that's going to be your problem with the bodybuilding. Your problem is going to be when the bone shoots right through the skin of your shin. Try only 520 pounds. All of a sudden, there's going to be a snap. Yeah. And imagine Lisa. I hope not. I showed him the video. That's the first thing he said. Not good job. Nothing. I'm just waiting for today. The back is broken. Anyway, it's the big Friday show. It's new music Friday. Oh, we're going to have to talk about that. Brittany of any of you yesterday. Oh boy. Oh boy. She's talking about Sabrina's performance at the VMAs. Anyway, we've got that. We've got stories behind the new music this morning. And it's all coming up in entertainment. That is next. From the Planet Fitness Kids 108 Studios. We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss 108. Hey, guys. Happy Friday. Welcome into the Billy and Lisa morning show. Yes, it is Friday the 13th. We'll be addressing that a little bit later in the show. When are we doing that, guys? 715. 715 Superstitions and Friday the 13th. But it's time for entertainment. Justin want to get some talkbacks in. Let's say hello. Yeah, remember Friday the 13th. I mean, there's a lot of, you know, negative around the day, but just be positive. Good morning, everyone. Happy Friday the 13th. I'm going to be positive Patty today. Because if you wish that luck on yourself, it will happen. Now, I want to tell Lisa that Sting is coming over to the Boston music hall this September. So it's the Sting 3.0 thing. It's a tour or something. But I want to tell you about tantric sex. You should ask Tim if he'd like to do it because I've had it. And it is great. Happy Friday. Woo. Okay. What is this talk? Do you know what that is? Yeah, I do. But that's like a big thing that Sting has always been into. What is tantric? Well, he's really into yoga. And I guess it's like... It's meditative. Meditative. Like you resist. So he has an orgasm while doing yoga? No. The goal is not... It's resisting. Oh, right. It's enjoying the sexual journey and sensations of the body. So it's like taking yourself to the edge, but not falling off. Right. And it's for healing, transformation, and enlightenment. Now, is Sting doing the musical? He's doing the musical. Oh, I got you there. Yeah. I just told my buddy Ernie. Yeah. All right. No. He's doing the MGM musical. Oh, the MGM musical. Okay. Oh, that's right. The musical is not the musical anymore. It's the Wang Center. Yeah. Wang Theater. Well, we'll get you. But we got you covered. We'll get you in there. And Justin's going to get you a sit down on one-on-one. You say you can't back down on this. You promised her. No, you can't do this. No, you promised her a sit down with Sting. Another... How can you not do that? Another empty promise from Bill Kong. For people. But now the entertainment update with Billy Kotsa. Here we go. The Sabrina Secret Sound 710 this morning. Another shot at those sold out Sabrina tickets. And people are buzzing this morning about a very weird Britney Spears post yesterday. Britney responding to Sabrina Carpenter's performance at the VMAs the other night. Listen very carefully. Okay, so did you guys watch the VMAs? I didn't watch the VMAs. But I did see stuff on my phone from YouTube of Sabrina Carpenter. Yeah. Why is she kissing a alien on stage? I adore her. I love her today. I didn't understand that part. Why does she kiss a girl? Like that was weird. But I also thought that the whole thing was kind of weird altogether. But after that, after watching that, I took a really long bath. And I actually color and into coloring right now. I like to color and I like to trace the pictures and then go back over it with like... And yeah. I just know why I'm talking about that. Or why I'm talking. Oh, it's because of Sabrina Girl. She said my name on the red carpet and I thought that was kind of cool. Because I forget I'm famous sometimes. Because I'm mom. I'm kind of old. But that was kind of cool. The Sabrina Girl, Carpenter. She just like, she said something. And I was like, okay. Thanks, that's cool. She made me cool. What was that noise? Did you have a squeaky stuffed animal with her or something? No, that was her. When is the help going to come for a portrait? It's a long overdue. And we love Brittany. Well, everyone loves Brittany. Even at the VMAs, there were so many nods to her. They were wearing her outfits. Kate McCray was wearing an outfit inspired by Brittany in like 2001. Yep, Megan the Stallion had the snake. Yeah, I'm a slave for you. Brittany must not have seen that. She just probably watched that clip. Right. That's weird. Yeah. And people forget how many incredible hit songs Brittany Spears had. Yeah, I mean, I was looking at some old VMA performances of her last night. And yeah, I had that same thought. Remember how massive she was? She was the biggest star in the world. And whenever you see her, you just pray someone is going to step in and help her out. I mean, it's really sad. It's getting scary. It's really sad. Yeah. Anyway, it's a good thing she's keeping busy. I'm into coloring right now. I like to color and I like to choose. Oh my God. I don't even know what to say. But you know when she was saying why was Sabrina kissing an alien? And that's because she kissed Madonna on stage. Yeah. That was the big VMA moment. I was there. Right. You were there. You saw that? I was there when that happened. God, you were. Imagine being backstage. Everybody pressed him around the world. That's all anybody was talking about because it was such a big deal then. Yeah. It's not now. But then everybody like, oh, what just happened? I think it would still be a big deal. You think? I have to say if Sabrina was kissing, I don't know. I think people would still be talking about it. Anyway, I hope she gets some help. It's new music Friday. Justin, we are world premiering the new weekend song at 715 this morning. Can we get a teaser right now? It's called Dancing in the Flames first single from his brand new album. No release date on that album yet. I can't wait to see your face crash when we're switching lanes. I like it now. Yeah. Would you say? I didn't really like it the first couple of times I heard the short clip. Yeah. I mean, it's very catchy. It's blinding lights-ish. Yes. It's going to be a big hit. You know, he's great at putting those kind of songs together. All right. You know, I'm a big weekend fan. You know, I do like kind of his raw gritty stuff more, but it's a good song. And then at 815, we have the new Tate McCrae, which we had a tease of a couple of weeks ago. It's called Remember Bill, what it's called? It's okay. I'm okay. Oh, my God. You nailed it. It's okay. I'm in the first place. It's okay. It's okay. I'm okay. I don't really gotta say. It's okay. You can have them anyway. Yeah. Tate McCrae was on the VMAs Red Carpet the other night and talked about the song. Honestly, I wrote it last year in Sweden with Iliya and Savin. And it honestly started off from like a conversation to me being like, oh, it's okay. I'm okay. And we're like, it'd be a crazy song. So I ended up finishing it like four weeks ago and turns it into a fun pop song and made the music video. And I'm very, very excited for it to come out. Okay. Yeah. Boy, she's huge now again. And she looked so good at the VMAs on the Red Carpet. I loved her outfit. Yeah. Even the kid, the Roy dressed up a little bit. Yeah. He looked good too. He looked like he took a shower. I know. Very cute couple. Other new music today. Sean Mendez. I don't know. He dropped a new song a couple of weeks ago. We kind of were unsure. This one, you be the judge. It's called Nobody Knows. Let us it go. Oh boy. Where does it go? Oh boy. Where does it go? Oh boy. Where does it go? Oh boy. Where does it go? Oh boy. Where does it go? Oh boy. Where does it go, Bill? I actually like this better than the other one. Oh, the other one sounded really weird. Right? I kind of like this one. I might go take a listen to it. What was his biggest song? He can do no wrong with me, so I love all of his music. Yeah. Well, he's a beautiful man. Yeah. He was so handsome. What was his biggest hit? Oh my God. He had several songs. I mean, Marcy holding you back. I mean, he had so many songs. Yeah. Yeah. Probably Marcy, right? I was one of the biggest ones. Yeah. He had many. Other new music. New Charlie XCX and Troy Savon. We went to the garden in a couple of weeks, September 28th. This one's called Talk Talk. [MUSIC PLAYING] That one there was for producer Riley. She likes Charlie XCX. She likes Charlie XCX. That's a good song. So when Charlie XCX is exploring this, yeah. She is featured in the new H&M Fall campaign that hit stores yesterday. So she's looking back to school time. I mean, saying. Yep. H&M. Cardi B had the baby. She did. A little girl. They didn't give a name though. It was on the seventh. Yeah. It was off set around. He was there. He was there. Oh, good. Yeah. Good. Yeah. Listen, the one thing about them, they seem to be very good parents or at least co-parent. They do. Yeah. Yeah. You know what's funny about Cardi B, too? Speaking of Charlie X and Cardi B, so Charlie XCX actually worked with Cardi B. They did a song together. They didn't actually meet each other. They recorded their verses separately. Yeah. And then when it came out, Cardi posted about it and it kind of went south here. Charlie talks about it. Basically, what happened was we did a song together with Rita Ora and B.V. Rexxa. And it was one of those scenarios where we never actually met when we made the song. And we shot the music video separately and we were sending verses and whatever. And then she tweets the song and I'm like, oh my God, Cardi B, my name is huge. And then I check the tag. And instead of Charlie XCX, it's Charlie STD. So Dua Lipa heading out on tour. She dropped the tour dates. Yesterday she'll do two shows at the TD Garden here in Boston, September 9th and 10th. We mentioned earlier, Dua Lipa will be on 60 minutes, this coming Sunday night. Earlier, we mentioned earlier this week of the Beyonce snub. The Country Music Awards snubbing Beyonce and her country album. Don't forget, she launched Shabuzzi by giving him two songs on that album. She was not nominated at all, but he was for song of the year and he talks about the snub right here. You know, I feel like as an artist, you know, I thought about it, you know, she had been working on that project for, you know, a lot of years. And I know how the award things go, you know, you kind of, you hope you get recognition from some of these places and then always doesn't come. But like I said, you know, at the end of the day, it's like about real impact. You've done and the things you've done in the real world. So no one can erase her legacy and her impact is honestly, I mean, she's the goat. She's a greatest of all time. And don't forget Shabuzzi going to be in Boston at Roy Al this coming Monday night. We've got reports that Beyonce is working on a new song with Pharrell. Oh, that'd be good. Yeah. Be interesting. Dolphins last night 31 10 dolphins quarterback to took another hard hit, another head injury. A lot of people suggesting to us step away from football, too many concussions. Josh Allen after the game talking about to a first and foremost, I just want to say, you know, hope to who's doing okay, praying for him and his family, understanding what's what's happened in the past and just knowing that I'm praying for him and his family. He's a great football player, but I've been around him outside of the football field and even amazing human. Yeah. Pats have their first home game of the season Sunday at Gillette. Both teams are one and oh, by the way, Patrick Mahomes yesterday saying unlike his wife, he will not be endorsing any candidates for president or anything else. It's not his thing. I don't want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever each either way. I think my place is doing foreign people to get registered to vote instead of informed people to do their own research and then make their best decision for them and their family. Okay. Happy Friday. Happy Friday, the 13th. Lisa, whether it's going to be nice, right? Yeah, but we're getting that hazy sunshine. Remember I was talked about the wildfires. You'll see more of that today. But temps, it'll be warm like mid eighties. Yeah, I never know if it's hazy out or if I'm just hung over. You know, you get a little glassy. You know what I'm talking about, Winnie? Yeah. Absolutely. So we've got the Sabrina, a secret sound, bring me up to date. What happened yesterday? No winner with V-bros? No, nothing with the V-bros in Gianna. So we have the sound that continues and you have to guess the sound, but it's based on one of the Sabrina Carpenter lyrics and one of her popular songs that we play on Kiss. Mm hmm. So what we'll do now is play the secret sound and carefully, listen carefully, here it is right here. Okay. A little bit longer this time. Yeah. You got more of it. Yeah. And we'll give it to you again right now. Oh, I know that one. I know that. I know the lyric. I know the song. I know it all. Yeah. I came in this morning and I was fielded by a ton of talkbacks from yesterday to this morning of people angry that they know what it is. They know what it is. You know, it's hard to be caller 25. Well, we're looking for caller 25 right now at 617-931-1108. You will need the sound. You will need the song that inspired it. Call it 25. And while we wait, let's hear from the mafia, Justin. I think some of the people calling aren't really Sabrina Carpenter fans because how can you not guess this? It's clearly not a guitar. My first graders could guess this sound. I mean, if you're not a Sabrina Carpenter fan and if you haven't been listening for the past, however long that you've been doing this secret sound two weeks now, then don't call because I know what the sound is. I need I need to be caller 25. Well, we can't ban anyone from playing just because, you know, they don't know the sound and the lyric. We're just saying. We can't just tell people. Wait. Do not call anymore. Thank you. All right. All right, let's go to Angela, Angela, you are caller 25 and where you calling from, Angela? I am calling for framing him beautiful framing him. OK, Angela, I'm going to let you hear the sound one more time. Listen carefully here. It is right here. All right, Angela, solve this thing for us. What is it? And what was it inspired by? I think it's a piano from nonsense. I had to jump the octave. That is correct. Angela, you did it. Angela, Angela, oh God, nice job. If you didn't get it, do you know how many people were going to hate you? This is so weird. So I'm guessing. That's something in calling. OK, you're a huge Sabrina fan, right? I am. And my daughter is. OK, so it's been a great mother, daughter, a night on the town. You go see Sabrina Carpenter, but great job, Angela. Thank you for listening. Thank you for playing. And hold on. Thank you. Producer, rather, we get all your deets. Great. Thank you. OK. Wow, very cool. Very cool. Eight, 10 this morning, a brand new sound. You can play. You can hear the sound and guess the song that inspired the sound. So it's Friday the 13th. We have some superstitions we're going to talk about. It's a day where some people are afraid of. So we want to hear your superstitions. You can call us or hit us up on the Talkback 6179311108 or the Talkback on the iHeartApp. Just tap that red microphone. Talk in front of the 13th. Hey, guys, welcome back and happy Friday. It was a little squeak there. Is that a Friday the 13th? I was just thinking that it's Friday the 13th. What's that? It's going to go wrong. Oh, my God. What is it? Is that Brittany? OK. Wait. Was that Brittany? Brittany? I'm into coloring right now. I like to color. And I like to choose. OK. Everything's all good. OK. Anyway, Friday the 13th. I don't know. I always mention it. I never think about it after I say, hey, everybody, Friday the 13th. I don't think I've ever had a superstition around it, but Lisa, you've got details on it. OK, this is just a quick background on why Friday and the 13th, those two things are together. It's because a lot of people think the last supper comprised of Jesus and 12 disciples with some counting the 13th attendee as Judas. Oh, OK. Friday is also said to be the day that Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Oh. So there's a lot of stuff based in Western Christianity, but I want to mention that in pagan times, Friday was believed to have a unique association with the divine feminine and 13. The number was associated with lunar and menstrual cycles. OK. So I want to mention that the Olsen twins were born on a 13th, June 13th, and our most favorite girl right now, Taylor Swift's birthday and her favorite number is 13. And her birthday this year is on Friday, the 13th. Right. There's two Friday, the 13th in one year. Yeah. Wow. December 13th. So yeah, so that's sort of like the background. Now some of the superstitions that you may have never heard of, but I think I've actually heard of one. And itchy knows is the sign of an upcoming fight. OK. Not for that before. I thought it was if, oh, maybe your hands are itchy, someone's talking about you. Well, there's that one. Yeah, there's an itchy left palm means you'll be losing money while an itchy right hand means money will soon be coming to you. Oh, let me scratch my hand right hand there. It's just it's coming. It says never sleep with makeup on your face or demons may think you're one of them. No, that makes a lot of sense. I try to wash the makeup. Yeah, Bill. Bill gets a washcloth wipes it all away. So many times I left my makeup on. Oh, yeah. Those makeup remover cloths are amazing. This one I've actually heard of. And I think about it now because someone DM'd me once never leave your bag or wallet on the ground. Yes, I have heard that because you'll lose money. Yes. It's like superstitious. It means bad luck. I've stopped doing it since someone told me a couple of years ago. Yeah. Never shake hands or kiss across a threshold. You'll become enemies. Oh, I didn't know that. I've heard a lot of stuff with thresholds. Really? Yes. Where? No, again, like people say it like, oh, don't walk into a room this way or that way. Don't go under a ladder. I've heard that one. Yeah. So mine is, since I was a little kid, when you're walking down the street with somebody else next to you, you never split the pole. So you never walk, have the other person walk on the other side of the pole. That is bad luck. I still believe it to this day. If I'm walking with my family, my son, my wife, we're walking down the street and my son goes on the other side of the pole, I pull him back. What pole? Any kind of, any kind of pole. Oh, okay. And like anything, but the pole has to be taller than you are. If it's shorter, it's okay. If it's taller, then you can't split the pole. Okay. So basically-- Usually the poles are big. If it's a fire hydrant, basically, what you're saying, you can walk in and say, if it's a street sign, like no crossing or whatever, that's probably 10 feet tall or five, whatever, then you have to, you can't split those. But some people will totally alter plans because it's Friday the 13th. Lisa, you were saying off the year you just recently did that. Yeah. So today was a day that we might have had a birthday party is at Blind Birthday Party and we decided not to choose this day and to have it a different day. I don't know. Bird poop, they say, is good luck. Like on your head? Oh, yeah. If it lands on you, I've always heard that. I've heard that too. Good luck. Yeah. I don't know if I want that. No, you really don't. You really don't want that on your head. Although I did get a bird pooped on me recently. How's your luck, bud? It hasn't changed. You know? Can I-- You know what, if it wouldn't work on anybody, it would be you, Billy. Can I give one more fun fact? Yeah, sure. There are more accidents on Friday the 13th. Well, how fast on the road this morning? More traffic accidents on Friday the 13th. How are things out there on the road? They're accidents. Okay. Yes. Anyway, we're coming up on topic time. Do you give Friday the 13th a lot of thought? You change plans because it's Friday the 13th. Do you have superstitions? Give us a call 617-931-1108. They can send talkbacks, Joseph. You are listening to us on the iHeartRadio app. Thank you for that. Tap that red microphone and let us know. We want to hear from you. Have you been pooped on? Let us know 617-931-1108 next. 6108. What is the topic? Today, we're going to be talking about-- Billy and Lisa present topic time. Talk amongst yourself. Topic time. Yeah, it's Friday the 13th and we kicked off a topic a few minutes ago on the show. Lisa Dunham gave us a lot about the history of Friday the 13th and why so many people are so freaked out. The second you hear it. You never know an advance, usually, you just say, "Oh my God, that's right. It's Friday the 13th. What am I going to do?" Yeah, it doesn't seem to bother me one way or another. Have you ever seen the Friday the 13th movies? Yes, I have. Classic. Classic. But that's a different thing. That's not really what most people associate Friday the 13th. I think it's more superstition. Yes. Yeah. But I always think about the movies and you know, I was a little kid when they came out and Jason with the hockey mask. Yeah. Well, we got Halloween coming up. People still come as Jason. It's a classic. Yeah, when I was younger, I've told the story before before we get to the phones. I was Jason for Halloween. I was probably like seven years old and I have an older cousin that was always causing trouble. And my mom asked them to put some fake blood on there. Yeah. And so he did and he drew, I can't say what it is, but a very offensive symbol on the forehead of the mask. Oh, no. And my little Justin went around doing, you know, trick or treating and I was wondering why every house was looking at me with this weird look and get off my lawn. I didn't get much candy. I went back home. My mother was like, what is on your mask? It was awful. Let's go to Courtney first. Good morning. Courtney, where are you calling from? Hi. I'm on my way to work. I'm in Lynn. Okay. What do you do for work, Courtney? I'm a clinician out of school. Good for you. Good for you. Thank you for your service. What have you got to add to the Friday 13th conversation? Well, this was many years ago, but I was, um, my intentions were good. I was, I went to Kenny Bunkport to pick up a customized painting for my mom's birthday. Actually, my mom's birthday is today, um, September 13th. So, um, I was, it wasn't ready yet. So I was waiting and I was going to be like an hour or so. So I went to, um, this one of the restaurants on the water sat in the deck ordered a appetizer and then all of a sudden I thought, you know, it was raining, um, and it wasn't rain. It was definitely bird poop and I was so embarrassed and everyone started around me. So, um, they actually, the table next to me offered to buy me a drink. So it was, um, quite, it was amusing now looking back, but at the time, I was, you know, an hour and a half away from my parents house and, um, yeah. It was good luck because she got free booze. Right. Yeah. See that turn the whole luck around. It turned into something good. Now she went up to Maine for the artwork and I wonder if it was one of those black velvet paintings. Oh no. Kenny Bunkport's beautiful. Beautiful galleries up there. What's wrong with you, Billy? You know, the dog sitting around the dinner table. Oh yeah. Playing poker. But anyway, speaking of the bird poop, my father ran the Boston marathon over a dozen times and in one of those marathons, a bird pooped on his head and he had his fastest time ever. Wow. Go out there today and pray that a bird poops on you. Absolutely. Good luck out there. Good one. I will be running two of it. Right. Let's go to Sarah. Hey, Sarah, what have you got Friday the 13th, baby? Hello. I'm just calling because I have a superstition where when we're driving in the car and we go over railroad tracks, I lift up my feet. Why is that fun of all the time? I don't know. Bad luck. Someone told me at once and I stuck with me forever. Wait a minute. No one else has heard of that. No, I've never heard of that. Your seat? No, her feet. Oh, from the floor. Well, what if you're driving? Like, you have to have your foot on the pedal. Oh, quick little lift. Just do a quick little lift. A quick little lift. So you get over it. Yeah. Okay. That's her thing. Yeah. Oh, it's always interesting to see people's, like, superstitions. I know. Like, really. Well, I'm wanting to hear one that I have that I'm not aware of. So let's go to Lonnie next. Lonnie, good morning. What about Friday the 13th and superstitions? Good morning and happy Friday, it's 108. Well, happy Friday the 13th. Do you, Lonnie, what have you got for us? Thank you. So I'm not a superstition person, but I know about Friday the 13th that when I was informed that I would be closing on my, on my house or the 13th, my Friday senses went up. Okay, this is a bad thing, Oh, and she's got a good story, too. I think she was saying she wouldn't close on her house on Friday the 13th. Like it was her closing date and she moved it. That's what I'm getting. Online was suddenly interrupted on Friday the 13th, talking about bad luck. Let's go to Maggie. Maggie, what have you got for us? Hi, I was born on October, Friday the 13th around midnight, and it was the first full moon on Friday the 13th over like 50 years, so it's kind of like my day. Okay. So you're happy. You like Friday the 13th. I'm happy. I have the number 13 tattooed on me and is the 13th letter in the office. So that I'm very happy about it. Wow. Oh, Maggie. Oh, Emily, I know that. And was the 13th. Neither. She's like Taylor Swift. Taylor celebrates the third, the number 13. See? Yeah. Yeah. I grew up again. I said it this far. My mom's one of 13. So 13, the big number in our family, but the 13th child is annoying. It's not. Yeah. I got to say that, but it's a big number. At least a couple of minutes ago, you said there were a lot of accidents, typically on Friday the 13th. A lot of traffic accidents. Anything we need to know going on right now. There's a crash in Heyroll and 495 Northbound. Oh, that's up there. Yeah. You're 125. Yeah, be safe out there. I don't know if this is a superstition or just common sense, but it's Friday the 13th driving on 95 giant log truck pulls out in front of me. Oh, no, no, definitely change lanes. Don't watch final destination. Yeah. That's a scene. Yeah. Yeah. That's final destination. The log truck and the logs. Yeah. Okay. I think everybody now you move. You want to. You said that I've never seen that movie, but I know about that. And like even one that they have steel beams or something, but I try to get away from them so quick. Yeah. This morning, I was saying, I don't know if I have a superstition. That is one. Like whenever I'm by a log truck or one with steel piping or something, I immediately get away from it. Anytime you're on the highway and you see a log truck, you'll see no cars behind it. Yeah. Just an empty lane. And mostly because of the movie. The final destination. That's exactly why. Oh my. Let's go to Linda next. Say Linda, what have you got for us? It's similar to the railroad track track crossing. Yeah. I heard when I was younger, you lift your feet over a bridge. So I kind of do the same thing. Sometimes as an adult, I still do it sometimes. But as a kid, I used to do it all the time because I heard you do it for, I don't know if it's to ward off bad luck or to bring you good luck or what. When they had a good question, you're driving the car up. What do you do when you take your feet off the floor? It's just as you're going on and getting off the bridge. Oh, see, I have heard to roll your all your windows down in case you go in case the bridge collapses off the bridge. You can get out. I've heard that, but I haven't heard the foot thing. That's a good one. Hot tip. Yeah. Kathy, you're up next. Where you calling from, Kathy? I'm calling from Dorchester. Okay. Kathy, what's going on in Dorchester? What do you think about Friday, the 13th? Well, my birthday is August 13th and I was born on my sister's sixth birthday. So the 13th is, and my daughter was born on January 13th, but so the 13th is very special. Do you have a 13 tattoo? No, not yet. You don't go out and get it today on the 13th. Wait, but Kathy, do you have the same thoughts as me about the bridge? Yes. That was what I did call in for is we used to roll our windows down and still do when we go over bridges. Oh. But I didn't realize that it was because if you drive off, that's the way to get out. I just thought it was like, you know, good luck if you. That's all we're going to think about now. I think that's a bonus. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, think about their power windows. You can turn them all down right from the door. So it's easy. This is a phobia, more of a phobia, but she even to this day when she goes over a bridge is like to go to Cape Cod, she has to hide on the floor in the back seat under the. So she can't drive? Yeah. No, no, no, she can't go over bridges. She can, but she has to be kind of cowering in the back. She has a real phobia about bridges, about bridges. What is cowering in the back going to do is something happened to the bridge. You can't see the car. You don't have to look down and oh, she must hate the bridge over the Cape Cod canal. Yeah. And we have a family house out there. Oh, God. Hi. Yeah. Yeah. You got a chalk back in there, Justin. We have so many calls. Can I get to Stephanie real quick? Yeah. Okay. Stephanie, let's give her some shine. Hey, Stephanie, go. So my brother and I, when we were younger, whenever we would drive past the cemetery, would hold our breath because he would swear the spirits would come in if we'd breathe. And we wouldn't re-breathe until we passed a white house with black shutters. What if there was no white house with black shutters? Well, it was a rule. He added, I don't know if it was legit or just, I was a younger sister. So, you know, you know, in New England, there are a lot of white houses with black shutters. Yeah. I had to tell it to you. I think he was trying to kill you. No, no, no luck yet. By the way, I've always been a fan of the black shutters. I have a white house with black shutters. Yes. It sticks out. Right? It's a great. Classic. Oh man. So many superstitions here. Hello. This is Britney Spears. And that if I break one of my crayons, I will have bad luck for 13 years. Okay. Thanks for sharing, Britney.
