An Uncommon Healing
(upbeat music) ♪ Surround to your rest ♪ ♪ And be blessed by a praise ♪ ♪ As we glory ♪ ♪ Hear your embrace ♪ ♪ As your presence ♪ ♪ Now feels this place ♪ - Father God, in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, me and Pastor Amy, join our faith with your wonderful people on this morning. Let the words of Christ come alive to them. Make the words sweet, make it so simple, so pure, that even a child can understand what the Holy Ghost is saying. David said the engines of your words, it gives light, gives understanding unto the simple, the ministry of people. Encourage them on this morning, lift them up, draw them closer to you. Let them see Jesus this morning in the world, let them see Jesus. Let them see him as the same yesterday, today, and forever. Let them form on love with Jesus. Let them draw closer to Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Somebody say, "Amen, my God, I feel the sweet "and noting of the Holy Ghost." Amen on this morning as we continue this series, the necessity of faith. Wanna talk about an uncommon healing. Now we are talking about mercy healings and the sovereignty of God. And the reason I felt compelled to talk about this is because faith is not the only way God heals people. I want you to hear me real good. You can not put God in a box. You can't tell them how to do it. You know, when I went to Uganda to a whole surpasses, conference on a miracle crusade, I went to a house to dedicate this government officials house. And she had the table at all. I mean, the big spread of food then. Right when I started praying, the Holy Ghost said, "You know what? "I want you worship for a couple of minutes." He said, "Man, we just started worshiping God. "Started worshiping God while we worshiping." The Holy Ghost said, "Someone has a problem." In their body and in their back area. And I'm healing that person right now. So I said, "Look, I told them what God told me." And everyone looked at me and said, "Well, it ain't none of us. "It ain't me, it ain't me." I'm like, "Well, you know what? "You got somebody inside that room who got that problem." I'm the woman, remember. My 15-year-old adopted daughter is the one. She has that problem and she's in the room. So call that young woman out. She came out of the bedroom. And before I prayed for the Holy Ghost, I want you worship for about five more minutes. And Lord, I'm mercy. Started worshiping for about five more minutes and said, "Boom, the demons begin to scream out of that young woman." And for the next two hours and 45 minutes, I spent chaos and demons out of that woman, out of that young woman in the name of Jesus Christ. And she was set free, delivered, saved, and healed by the power of the living God. Oh, come on, somebody. That was the mercy of God. That young woman had no faith. Had nothing to do with her. It had everything to do. Had the mercy of God. She was set free by the power of the Holy Ghost. Jesus remembered the young adopted girl in the bedroom. She was set free. I mean, the demons in that young woman threw her almost five feet away. And they held her fast. And every demon came out of her. She was set free by the power of God. His mercy is anew every morning. Listen to this. It is of the laws, this is lamentations, chapter three, verse 22 and 23. Listen to what it says. It is of the laws, mercies, that we are not consumed because his compassion's fail not. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness. What a word. And I'm talking about an uncommon healing. ♪ Great is thy faithfulness ♪ (chuckles) ♪ O God, my Father ♪ ♪ There is no shadow up turning with thee ♪ Come on, sing, and all I have needed, the hands has provided. Great is thy faithfulness, greatest. Great is thy faithfulness, greatest. Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me. Come on, sing it with me, Church, and great is thy faithfulness. Great is thy faithfulness, morning by morning, new mercies I see. And all I have needed, the hands has provided. Great is thy faithfulness, greatest. Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me. Oh, come on and praise the glory to God. Now this morning I want to take you into the book of Luke, chapter 22 verse 44 through 51, as we talk about an uncommon healing, an uncommon healing, you'll see why I call this. And being in an agony, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose up from prayer and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow. They were just overwhelmed. And said unto them, why sleep, why are you sleeping, I need you guys to be awake. Rise and pray, lest you enter in the temptation, rise and pray, lest you enter in the temptation means, lest when the temptation comes, you fall and given. If you pray, you'll stay, if you fast you'll last. So if you pray and spend time with God, he will give you the strength so that when the temptation comes, you will have the strength to overcome it, are you listening? And while he yet spake behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the 12, went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him, Judas the traitor. But Jesus said unto him, Judas betrays thou the son of man with a kiss? When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we spite with the sword, it's Peter, impatient. And one of them smote the servant of the high priest and cut off his right air. My dad would always tell me, say, you think Peter was trying to cut off his air, Peter is trying to clean his air, to clean his air off, take his air clean off, and he dodged and the sword called his air. Watch this, y'all. And one of them smote the servant of the high priest and cut off the man's air. And Jesus answered and said, suffer, eat thus far, in other words, stop all of this. And he touched his air and healed him, the word heal right there is to make whole. That means Jesus either grew an air back on or pick his air and put it in reattach it. Come on, wait a minute Saints, Jesus is being attacked. This is a mob, they came to kill him. I would have not been focusing on the healing service right there. I would have been trying to get out of there, come on somebody, but isn't this amazing? This is an uncommon healing. Here they are coming to murder him, coming to kill him, coming to take him away to be crucified, coming to arrest him, Judas betrayed him. And Peter chops off the servant of the high priest's air. And what does Jesus do? Wait a minute, that man has no faith in Christ. He wants him dead. He's coming to murder Jesus, he's coming to help arrest him. He's a part of the mob, he has no faith, he has no belief in Jesus, except he want him out of the way. And that man who came to have Jesus murdered, Jesus laid his hands on his air that was chopped off and brought a healing to that man. That's an uncommon healing, that man had no faith. He was full of rage, he was full of anger, he was full of murder and wrath. And yet Jesus reached out his hands of mercy, his hands of love, his hands of compassion and brought healing to that man. I'm telling you, his mercies, I knew, the Bible says in Lamentations 3, 22 and 23, it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassion has failed not. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness. Think about that. That only could be the power of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, I'm working someone who is totally yielded to God. They come in to murder him, they come in to kill him, they come in to arrest him. And the man's ass is chopped off. Some of us would have been like, well that's the judgment of God. Some of you are laughing right along with me because you are guilty. Some of you would have been saying, oh yep, yep, yep, that's the judgment of God. I said, God's my defender, no, Jesus reach out. That's mercy, that's compassion, that's love beyond measure, love covers the multitude of sins. He reach out and laid his hands on a murderous mobster and heal that man's air. This blows my mind, this man had no faith, he had no belief in Christ. He wanted him out of the way and yet Jesus healed him, that's an uncommon healing. If Jesus can heal a man that's coming to murder him and kill him, how much more is he willing to do, for you and me, who are his children, who love him, who care about him, who have surrendered our lives to him, we will fall him to the ends of the earth. I'm talking about mercy healings, talking about the sovereignty of God, the compassion of the Lord. That's an uncommon healing, he loves you this morning, he cares about you. I surrender all, this man was full of rage and Jesus reached out and touched him and healed his air that was chopped off, amazing, amazing miracle. You may be like that man this morning, you have no faith in Christ. You don't believe, but yet he's reaching out through this broadcast with a heart full of compassion and love, with arms full of love and compassion, with hands that's ready to change your life. Without any further hesitation, I want you to bow your heads and close your eyes and say this prayer in reverence to God, say, "Lord, I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you died on Calvary Cross for me." They crucified you in cold blood, buried you in a borrowed tomb, but on the third day God raised you from the dead. You are now seated at God's right hand and soon and very soon you are coming again. From this day I turned my back on the world, the flesh and the devil to serve the true and living God and his Son Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for saving my soul, amen.
