They played well, give them credit. But, yeah, I think like all of us, we're disappointed in our performance today, but there's no bar and a tape, you know, I'll sit here so that's not the way I've ever operated. So, we will take a hard, hard look at it, because we all need to learn from it. You know, we got a new defensive staff, and this is the first time, you know, we were on Cloud 9 last week, and now we got, you know, we got punched. You know, as a longtime Pepsi shareholder, I bought like a little bit of Pepsi stock, 25 years ago, and I never did anything with it. If you're going to sponsor a team, like, would you want to be off the board behind the coach after the team just got the crap kicked out of it? Like, I don't know that I want everybody seeing Pepsi logos associated with a team that just got embarrassed the way they got embarrassed. Same thing I watch it and go, man, that looks refreshing. Maybe the deal is on the days the Cowboys get the crap kicked out of them at home, just put up a coke logo instead. I'm going to pay extra with the bad juju on them. We'll pay extra to put the coke logo up. So, yesterday, the Cowboys get embarrassed at home for the second straight time. Now, they hadn't lost a regular season game at home in two years. And last year, they were undefeated at home, and everything was great, and it was firing on all cylinders, and they got on top of teams early, and they stepped on the throat, and they unleashed Michael Parsons, and it was easy. Yep. They had that happen to them. They couldn't keep up. It was a track meet they couldn't keep up with early, and then it was just done. The Saints destroyed them. Destroy 40, 19, 91 points in two games, fourth highest two game total to start the season ever. It's awesome. The Saints are, to me, the coolest story in the NFL right now. And through two weeks, and I can't believe I'm saying this, it's my favorite team to watch play football. I mean, it's a tack. It is bombs away. It's got to, again, it's a Shanahan disciple to a degree. Clint Kubiak, gone there. Had a year with Shanahan. I think you see the effects with their offense, but the creativity, the explosiveness. I love the flow of their offense and how they tie things together. And I love a story of people shoving it up where the sun don't shine a little bit, even if it's up where my sun don't shine a little bit. Like Derek Carr. I got on his ass a lot last year. And for good reason, right? And for good reason. Right. We did. Charlie Checkdown doesn't let any plays develop down the field. As soon as the pocket collapses, get the ball out. And he's basically given middle finger emoji to all of us out there this year. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, watch me stand in the pocket this year and throw bombs and be the most explosive quarterback in the game the first two weeks. You couple that with the way they play, the two receivers Rashid, Shahid and Chris O'Lavi are their speed is up there. They have the type of speed that can mess with wattle and Tyree kill to a degree, right? It's it's that explosive. And then they're running the ball. And the course Camara is still damn good on that side of the ball. How could you not love with the way they're playing the style of how they're attacking and what they look like right now? Definitely one of the feel good stories of the season so far. Three touchdowns in the first half for Alvin Camara for overall. And if anyone knows that you have to defend Camara, it's Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer. My good friend saw Camara score six times on Christmas day in Minnesota four years ago. Yep. You got to have an answer for Camara. And I think there was just a vibe that Camara's star was fading. Yeah. Had this contract issue where the phony baloney back end year next year was going to get him cut after this year. They were trying to work some out. They did and he's kind of reluctantly showed up because what do you really do? Right. You've got the contract and they're paying you. And now he's got the right attitude. The issue with the Saints has been culture post Sean Payton. They got a lot of great players. The culture had not been good. And I know that they've made a concerted effort to improve it. And Chris, I'll say this because you look at some of the upcoming games, including all of a sudden a great Monday nighter three weeks from tonight. The Saints at the Chiefs. No. Monday night football. Yeah. October seven. Be there. Eagles and Falcons in between that. A trip to Atlanta. One of their arch rivals. Adversity will come at some point. Right. How will they handle it? Because we saw it on Monday night last year. Was it Saints Jaguars on a Monday night last year? Right. Derek Carr gesturing and showing guys up. And what will he do when you're not having a good day? Because at some point, you're not going to have a good day. And that's really the test for me. And that's when I was talking to somebody about this recently. Watching the body language of quarterbacks. You and I love to do that. Yep. How do you perform on a night when it's not your night? How do you deal with that? Do you just accept it? Or do you bend reality your way? Do you find a way to make it into your day? And that's where it's going to be. The real test of whether the Saints are different. And Saints fans, I'm just being real here. You're not going to come out and steamroll everyone. No, you're not. There is going to be a game where you're down 14 points, or you're down 10, or there's an interception. You have to figure out how to recover from it. It's not going to be easy all the time. It's been easy so far. And who knows? Maybe. Maybe. Great to show on turf. Maybe they're going to go wire to wire. Maybe they won't see any adversity. That's the best outcome possible. We know that's not realistic in the modern NFL. And it's definitely not realistic three weeks from today when they go to Kansas City for a prime time game. No. It's not going to be as easy as this. Look, the teams are going to start to realize how they're attacking. Take away some of their meat and potato plays, and they'll have to adjust and go through that. But I think what's encouraging is the attitude in the mindset. It's aggressive. It's attacked. Look at some of these damn throws. First off, last year, he doesn't step up in the pocket. He goes, I'm going to throw it short. But man, Rashid Shahid, I'm telling you, if not for Tyree Kill, he might be the best deep threat in the game. And then we always talk about what a great offenses make you do. They make you defend the whole field. So when they're throwing the ball deep, they have an offensive line that you've got to give the Saints a lot of credit for. They've done a really good job of retooling that group. And it's dominant. They made a good draft pick in Fuwaga last year. They got Ruiz, McCoy. The penning seems to be working at it right tackle, moving him over there. So there's a lot of positives to where they can play sledgehammer football too. I think that's the good thing here. So even if they're not blowing teams out and going, wow, we're the greatest show on turf to your point, they will, at least I think, have a run game to depend on as well. We know their defense with Dennis Allen is going to be a pain in the butt. But yeah, I'm liking this from the Saints. This is fun to watch. It really is. And good for Rashid Shahid and Olave and of course Derek Carr. By the way, happy score agami to those who celebrate the second one in less than a week, involving the number 19, 32-19 Monday night, 49ers jets, 44-19 yesterday. Another first time ever, the 1,086th unique final score in NFL history. Yeah, that is crazy, 44-19. It's amazing that that hasn't happened before. But man, big time plays. They definitely had a beat on Zimmer's defense. Zimmer plays a lot of what we call quarters coverage. And you saw some of those deep posts and things they threw. They were specific to beating Zimmer that way. Let alone the back in the back game and cover four can be a real issue too. And we saw that with Camara as well. But Cowboys, the Cowboys did some, their offense was a big issue yesterday. They got a little one like their defense got steamroll. Again, you got thrown into a one-dimensional approach. Exactly. And then it was, it was, it was 28 to 13. The changing moment of the game that really put it out of reach was 28, 13. The Cowboys get the ball. They had just, you know, they had moved the ball. They had an explosive touchdown, two drives before that was CDLAM. And Dak throws a ball over the middle. And the wide receiver slips and falls and it gets intercepted. And that gave the short feel to the Saints to make it 35-13. And that was all she wrote. But you kind of felt like, hey, Dallas is moving the ball. They'll be okay here. And then the slip by the receiver, interception, short field touchdown, night night, Saints win. And the Saints are who dad or who day? They are who dad. Who dad? Bengals are who day. It confuses me sometimes. But who dad, who dad hosts the Super Bowl this year? I know. That's why I had who day going in there. Well, but you may have who dad not having to travel very far. And it's happened a couple of times in recent years. It went forever without it happening. And then the Buccaneers hosted, the Rams hosted. They both play in it. They both win it. Who knows? Maybe the Saints will get to pull it off again this year. And this is the best team they've had since Sean Payton left. They finally kind of worked through the post Sean Payton fun. It looks like it. And the offense is the big thing to me. Again, I am not a believer in the old school West Coast offense. And that's kind of what they were doing last year with Pete Carmichael and stuff. They got Shanahan, offensive scheme in here. They're playing through the run. The number one play to make explosive plays in the past game in the NFL right now is through play action pass. And that's become a big part of their offense. And that's where I'm excited for the Saints because it's not the same old West Coast bullcrap offense. They're dangerous on that side. Saints are a surprise at 2 and 0. Vikings are a surprise at 2 and 0. The 49ers going in there. Short week. No Christian McCaffrey. Jordan Mason still looking pretty damn good. He had 100 yard performance for the second straight week. Six days apart, 48 carries from Monday to Sunday, which is pretty impressive for a guy who was undrafted. But, but we talked about it at the top of the show that moment where you stop him on fourth and go, trust Sam Darnell to stand in the end zone, deliver the ball. Justin Jefferson does the rest within the system. Jalen Naylor. I don't know if you've seen the extent to which Naylor who's on the other side of the field. Well, I gave him a shout out on football night in America. I know this is hustle right here and I don't know. Maybe he scores here no matter what. I'm not sure he does. But either way, I like this hustle. Hey, the back judge did a nice job of getting in position to make it harder for the 49ers player to get the Justin Jefferson. Although that guy probably never ran faster in his life to get down. And that's just that scream, oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, oh crap. But the other word as the as the guy was trying to get in position. But that was kind of the moment where it was like, because it was okay, the Vikings are up three, nothing. It should have been seven, nothing. Eventually, they're going to have to deal with a flurry of blows from the 49ers. And that's when it'll fall apart. Yeah. That moment was that strike of lightning where it's like, uh oh, yeah. Uh oh, they could actually win this. Definitely. And they delivered some blows to the 49ers early on in the football game too. But I thought they'd hang around and wouldn't be able to win the game. They showed me something there yesterday with how they played. And of course, we've talked about, go ahead. Well, it should have been 27, seven. Aaron Jones was going into score touchdown that would have made it feel like a blowout. Fred Warner hits him hard. The ball comes out. The 49ers get it to drive down the field and make it 20 to 14. That next drive was the one where, hey, the Vikings really have to suck it up here. It might not have been a touchdown right away. I, I, I, it gets a little fuzzy when 10 games are going on. Right, but at some point they made it 20 to 14. Yes. And the Vikings had to really hold it together. Tough field drive down work, work the clock. Right. Made it a two score game. And then that was pretty much it. 14 play, six minute, 46 second drive, 62 yards. They end up kicking the 27 yard field goal. But I hear what you're saying. I mean, they had some moments where, yeah, it looked like they could really put the 49ers in an uncomfortable position. Again, the defense made another fourth down stop at midfield. And remember, Donald throws the interception as they're kind of moving. Yes. Red Warner makes an incredible play. That's the one that resulted in the touchdown drive. Exactly right. That, and that was like, oh wait, they might go up 17, nothing here, 13, nothing. But you block a punt, which the Vikings did, and that set up their first field. They'll go up three, nothing. You stop the 49ers on fourth and goal from the two yard line and then score, touchdown and go up 10, nothing. Create a few turnovers. Brock party, stripped sack, throwing an interception. And then you stop them again on the fourth down and around midfield. Hey, I don't give a damn. What team you're playing? 49ers, Superman, whatever. It's going to be hard for that team to win when you do that kind of stuff. Complete team win. Special teams, offense. Man, the run game, I think that's different here too in Minnesota this year. I think you got a run game, Mike. Like the last two years, your run game was kind of like, ah, we want to throw it. We'll just run it though, just to keep you honest. Man, with Aaron Jones last week, Chandler. Ty Chandler had 82 yards on 10 carries. I think when you start to do that with the way they throw the ball already, and now you can make play action more effective, the Minnesota to me, yeah, watch out. They're going to be player here. They're going to be dangerous and good for Sam Darnold. Come on. Another like, this is a great story. It just shows you everything. Some of these guys out here at quarterback and play, they just don't get the opportunities on as a team that helps them every now and then. We're seeing it right in front of our eyes with Sam Darnold. I said this on our Applebee's recap last night. Yeah. And Sam Darnold is becoming a prime example of one of my favorite soap box themes. Right. I've been pushing for years. If you're a great quarterback and the team that has the rights to draft you is not a good organization with a history of ruining quarterbacks, don't go there. Yeah. Take a stand because who knows what Sam Darnold might have been if he hadn't gone to the Jets and been ruined by the Jets. Who knows? I mean, Gino Smith, he got ruined by the Jets. It took all those years for him to resurface as a starter. And now he's in year three as the start of the Seattle Seahawks. Right. And now Darnold, although unfortunately for him, well, they're going to have it there. I mean, good prop, good problem to have. I mean, they got JJ McCarthy ready to go. He's not going to play this year because of the meniscus tear that was fully repaired. And they just put him on IR. And it was smart to say he's not playing at all this year. Right. Because Darnold can take full advantage of this is my year. This is my shot. I don't have to worry about when I'm going to get the Jacobi Brissette tap on the shoulder. The rookie's coming into the game. Right. Exactly right. Right. Either way, Sam Darnold is going to set himself up for future success and to where maybe he can be choosy and picking next year to go. Wait, I want to go to this team because they're kind of good and I'll be set up for success there. If he has that opportunity. But it is awesome to see he has played great. It shows you Kevin O'Connell is the horse whisperer. And I think you're the what you were alluding to. They were up 20 to seven and Aaron Jones fumbled at the one yard line. Did you say that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That would have made a 27-7. That would have been 99 at that point. It went on a 99 yard drive. That was it. That drive there too. That was, you know, let alone the interception that led to a drive too first. So but but either way, the Vikings, we know those two coaches on both sides of the ball phenomenal. Your defense, I think, is every bit as good as it's been really in the last few years. And I think the offense, like legit, has a run game to go along with this awesome past game. So we'll see where it goes. But Minnesota is going to be a pain in the butt in the NFC this year. Well, Texans, Akron Bay, Jets in London next three games and then they get a buy early. Five games. Let's see. Go two and one over the next three. Four and one at the break. I don't think anybody would have expected that. And who knows? But one of the toughest games on the schedule. One of the ones you circle at the start of the season. Two, 49ers. Two years and the 49ers haven't won in Minnesota since 1992 when Steve Young was the quarterback. Wow. That's incredible. Now it's not like they play there on a regular basis. But still, the 49ers have been damn good and they've played there either way. The Vikings probably haven't won in San Francisco since the playoff game in 1987. But regardless, it's been a long time for the 49ers to win in Minnesota and it will continue for at least another year assuming that the schedule works out of way that they would have to go back there in 2022. How about the Buccaneers and the Lions? The Bucks. You're squad, man. Hey, they want me to stop saying nice things about them. No, it would have been your screwed, Tampa. Now I'm jumping on the band. It's going to be more than me after that. You know, I predicted they would be eating cats in Michigan and they ate some cats yesterday. You're funny. So the Bucks to go back to where they had just played their last road game. Yeah. And they knew exactly what it was going to be. That's where they've been. That's why I talked to Baker Mayfield about that. They knew it was going to be extremely loud. They've lived it. Right. So it was just as loud yesterday as it was in the playoffs. Yeah. And playoffs have a different vibe, but it was just as loud. And they were able to deal with it. And they were able to take the best punch the Lions had to step up on defense without Antoine Winfield. They lose Vida Veda during the game to shut down the Lions, to hold them and check the way they did. That is more impressive than what happened offensively, but the straw that stirs the drink is Baker Mayfield. Yeah. You know, he's got that inherent feistiness, that chippiness, that attitude, and it permeates the whole team. I think his attitude permeates the Bucks more than Tom Brady's did the championship year of 2020. Yeah. And I think there's some similarities in their chippiness and how they can rub off on the team that way. Definitely. Baker Mayfield is tough, gritty. He fits a Todd Bowls type of football team. And of course, he's aggressive making plays. And this is really the difference of the game yesterday is that the Bucks scored touchdowns. And right now, Detroit's having a hard time getting in the end zone and they're setting them for field goals, which we haven't seen Detroit do really in the last year and a half since they became really good football team. But that was the big thing. And I think you're hitting on it. I mean, Baker Mayfield, again, this was another game where statistically Detroit made, had more yards, it looks more impressive. But in the big moments, the Bucks made all the big plays. And that goes to Baker Mayfield too. You know, I even wrote on my notes as I was watching the game. I don't care what the stats are. I said, Baker is balling. Every time they needed a big throw in the big moment, he hit it or, oh, here's a chance to make a big play, score touchdown, whatever he hit it there. They faced the Lions for the third time in the calendar year. And you could tell too that Todd Bowls got a little feel for the Ben Johnson defense. They didn't just get run over in the run game. The run game didn't go into the second half for Detroit. And they caused problems. They pressure Jared Goff. He was throwing off his back foot a little bit. And he threw, you know, some bad interceptions. One really bad on the fringe red zone where he threw it down the middle. But yeah, he looks a little off kilter the first two weeks, Jared Goff, not what we saw. 55 passes thrown yesterday by Jared Goff. 34 completed 307 yards, two picks, no touchdowns. Passer rating of 61.7, which is not good. 61.7 is not good. No, it's not good. They don't want to play that way. They made that huge investment. At some point, Dan Campbell said before the season, they expect more out of him this year. They're going to have him more do things, do more things. And I said this last night, and look, I've come around on Jared Goff because I think he has improved. And I think the way that he got kicked to the curb by the Rams caused him to access a higher level of performance and ability. But yeah, is there a way to how far he can take? Yes, well, yes, there is a limit if the game gets like this because he's not going to make plays or backyard plays or carry your team when you don't protect well. Or wait, guys aren't getting open. I'll buy time and get out of the pocket and get people. That's where it's not. Now, if things are functioning at a high level in front of him in the offensive line, then he will take advantage of every yard that's there to be had. But see, these situations there, yeah, he can't move. He can't extend the play. They get the big stop there. It was a driver too before that when he threw the interception and had people in his face there. But yeah, it's two weeks in a row where you felt like, hey, the Lions were good on offense, but it's not quite clicking the way it was at the end of the last season. They could be Owen too. They easily could be Owen too. They had to dig deep to come back and force over time against an overmatched Rams team that has a mass unit and it gets worse and worse every week. But they could be Owen too. They should feel very fortunate to be one in one. They've got some work to do to get back to what they were last year. Aiden Hutchinson, this is your point with Baker, right. I mean, Aiden Hutchinson was all over the place in the game yesterday. Four and a half sacks, right? I knew they were going to take that half a sack away from the guy touched him on his way down. But the bucks were starting to back up right tackle. Gedecky was out. They had a start. Maybe you can get his name from me. It stole or I always forget his name, but 77 had no chance against Hutchinson on the right side. He was constantly abused by him all day long. That was an issue, but that's a credit to Baker Mayfield for how he hung in there. He did throw one dumb interception, but other than that, played the game really clean and tough. And like I said, and like you said, made a few plays when he needed to to get out of the pocket or hung in the pocket and took some hits to make some big throws and some big moments. Justin Schule, S- Schule, sorry. K-U-L-E, almost scull, but based on how he played yesterday, I don't think the Vikings won him, especially not against Aiden Hutchinson. Four and a half sacks. And I asked Baker, how does that affect your game? And you just have to accelerate everything, but you can't overly accelerate it because the guys got to get open. You can't just throw the ball until guys are open, but you really have to move it along. And you don't want to stare at the rush, but you're conscious of it. He said the guys got no off switch. And I asked him, what's the conversation? He said, he doesn't say anything to me, and I don't say anything to him. I'm not going to chirp back at him if he doesn't say anything. Aiden Hutchinson's, I think, entered another level of defensive performer, right? Where Aiden Hutchinson, one of the better defensive players in football, has now gone to, no, Aiden Hutchinson's a top tier. No question, one of the best defensive players in football. I think he has officially arrived in the stratosphere of TJ Watt, Micah Parsons, Miles Garrett, type of football player. And it goes beyond the stat sheet too, because he's really a F the play-up guy too. That's really impressive as well. Who are the Jaguars thinking? I mean, it's not like Trayvon Walker is horrible, but he ain't this guy. It's always tough to take a defensive guy with the first overall pick in the draft, because unless you're getting three sacks a game, you don't compare favorably or easily to an offensive player. But Hutchinson, I mean, and it worked, I mean, they gave the Lions a hell of a gift by not taking them. Because they allowed this great story. The full hometown guy. And maybe he wouldn't be his great in Jacksonville. Yeah, you're right. I don't know. But either way, he's clearly the better player. Trevon Walker is a good player. Don't get me wrong, and I think you said it right. But Aiden Hutchinson is proven to be special and definitely one of the best defensive players in football. Dan Campbell had a rough day, his head coach of the Lions. There was a big mock at the end of the half, and screwed things up there. Here he is taking blame for what went wrong yesterday for the Lions. You know, I asked for improvement from last week. Was this story? And we did improve. We did improve. And their coach cost him. Their head coach cost him this one. So critical error in the half. And 100% on me, we improved. There's areas we got to continue to improve on. But it's not OK. Yeah, I mean, the bottom line is, the pass was completed. I don't explain it, yeah. The offense ran up to spike balls. They were in the hurry of spike yet. But members of the field goal team were coming on. He sent people out. So they got penalized for too many men on the field. 10 second runoff. No time left. There goes the field goal, right? Yeah, it was 13-6. Yeah, there goes the field goal. And who knows how that would have changed the second half. But that's three points that the loss of three points goes right to the head coach. Yeah, well, you don't know. What I love about it right there just takes it like a man. It does the right thing. It'll not be an issue at all. The locker room's going to respect how he handled that situation. He'll be better that way. I mean, he's been a guy that's been, yeah, gutsy, we know. But for the most part, a pretty damn good game manager. They did have the fake punt. They succeeded on, I think, on a fourth and 10 yesterday. So he's still biting kneecaps and doing all that. But yeah, they messed up there a little bit. Detroit's still real damn good. Yeah, look, in a long season, they would have loved to have started. Everybody wants to start 2-0. But at the same time, all that it means when you're one-in-one is your best possible record will be 16-in-one. That's all it means. So we'll see what the Lions can do turning it around. There's still one of the best teams in the NFL. And how you respond. I remember last year, week two, they lost at home to the Seahawks. Yeah, for me, right, like '27, '34, right. That's exactly right. And you just have to-- you have to respond to it. And last year, they did. OK, let's take a break when we return. Aaron Rodgers in the Jets with a nice bounce-back win on a short week. We're going to hand out some Sunday superlatives on the other side of this break. More PFC library after this. Take me my second. We all know that. Somehow that first one counts. Aaron Rodgers, after getting the victory on Sunday, they had to fly back from San Francisco, regroup, rough night, go to Nashville, got the win. Now they've got to fly back. Short week, Thursday night, here come the Patriots. It'll be three games between the ninth and the 19th. I've given up saying three games in 10 days. Because we're like, it's actually 11 days. Between the ninth and the 19th, they're playing three times. And that's coming up in just three days. On Thursday night football, on Amazon, it's going to be the Patriots at the Jets. So we're going to hand out some superlatives. We didn't do this. I don't think we did this. No, I don't think we did do this, right? So this is bringing back something we've done in the past, I think. I vaguely remember doing this before. But we just kind of come up with some sort of a funny, hopefully, but comedy is hard line. And then we talk about a game. So I'll let you go first. I'm not that funny, and I'm not that creative. Nor am I a comedian. So I'm just going with taking off. It hasn't stopped me in the past. OK, I know. Taking off the Jets. Yeah, they're offense. It's going in the right direction. It's not going to blow you out of the water. But we've seen them run the ball a little bit better than we have seen in years past. Aaron Rodgers, I think, looked even a little bit more comfortable yesterday than he did in week one against the 49ers. The 49ers game, let's be serious. There was one drive. That was all there is. There was more than that yesterday. Now, is it perfect? No. But again, I think you see them. They're trying to find a formula. Rodgers is getting more comfortable. I felt like he was less antsy in the pocket. And then when he see one on one on the outside, hey, my man can still throw it. And we saw that a number of times yesterday. He is comfortable attacking on the outside. He's not very aggressive down the middle. But again, you look at all these. Down the sideline, one on one, he's as good as a thrower. The back shoulders, covered guys along that boundary as there is in the history of football. See, we could have gone negative and should have gone negative. And the superlative coming out of that game would have been the Carson Wentz Award. Well, I was. Because Will Lovers has become Carson Wentz. I wasn't going to give him the Tropic Thunder award. I was. Because he's had the two worst turnovers in football two weeks in a row. Unbelievable. I mean, it really is Carson Wentz. It's the only difference is he isn't thrown him with his offhand. I want to give the just love instead of just crapping on the Tennessee Titans. But yeah, the Titans had a block punt for the second week in a row. The Jets got points off of that. And then Will Lovers, yes, Desi threw an interception. That was tough. But this play right here, 7-0 controlling the game. The Jets got nothing to this point. They're doubting themselves. Our Jets fans in our viewing room are stressing and already the world's falling and the Jets are horrible and Sol is a horrible coach. And thank God that Wentz Garoppolo made this play here at the last second. But that is like as bad as it absolutely gets. And it did. It jumped, started the Jets. It did. It got them going and certainly got them off the hook and took a little pressure off of them there early on when they were they were being outplayed by Tennessee. I think he needs to hold the Mayo. Oh, damn, you're good. That's good. I like that too. Hold the Mayo. All right. This is the Aaron Rodgers Achilles Rehab Partner Award because JK Dobbins was rehabbing last year at this time with Aaron Rodgers. Yeah. And he told me yesterday, I said, give me your best Aaron Rodgers story. He said, we had a competition who would get here earliest for our rehab work. And he claims now Rodgers would possibly dispute this, but it's not like Rodgers is going to answer my call or take my text, not that I even have his number, not that it matters. But Dobbins says he won every single day, that he got there before Rodgers. Even though they had this competition. And we know how competitive Rodgers is. Dobbins beat him there every single day. And Dobbins, 131 yards on 17 carries yesterday. He had 135 yards on, I think, 10 carries week one. It's incredible to see a guy who has gone through so much physically, so much adversity. Torn ACL, torn Achilles tendon. And he was kind of caught in a little bit of a tug of war between the Harbaughs. John wanted to keep him in Baltimore. Jim wanted him with the Chargers. You know, I said, they should have had him arm wrestle or something over it. But he ultimately chose, Jimmy said he prayed on it. He chose to go there. And now he goes to Pittsburgh this weekend. He's got 320 plus rushing yards in three career games against the Steelers, which is not easy to do. So they better have answers for J.K. Dobbins. The Chargers are going to have a little surprise for the Steelers on Sunday. Hey, it's a Harbaugh ball. I mean, again, not sexy, not lighting up the stat sheet, but make the big plays when they got to run the ball. Really effectively, defense is playing like one of the better defenses in football, even though I know they haven't played great offenses yet. And then Herbert just makes a few splash throws. That's all they need. And it's great to see Quentin Johnson come along a little bit there and be a guy that you go, ooh, maybe they can start to hang their hat on him. We have three days until we will reconvene for a picks podcast. Boy, I just had a flash that I need to pick the Chargers over the Steelers this weekend. Wow. It just came. I might do that. I might do that. Wow. Where's that game at? Pittsburgh. It's in Pittsburgh. Oh, I'm open. I'm just going to go against the team. Well, it's I like to be right. I like to play a similar style of football. It'll be ugly and close. I could tell you that. That's what I do expect. All right. Yep. Speaking of ugly and close, Raiders Ravens. What do you got for that one? What are we great at? That's my superlative, right? I'm dumbfounded by the Ravens and what's going on with them. I mean, maybe you guys in this, the back can pull this stat up, but what is it? 10 seven point leads. Unbelievable. And they've blown more seven point leads in the last four or five years than any team in football. That's kind of incredible when you talk about the culture of the Ravens. Wait, they have a great defense and they're supposed to be a big, bad running team with Lamar Jackson. They should be able to close teams out better than anybody. That's what your football common sense tells you, but that's not the case. And this is an issue. It was an issue last year. It was an issue the year before. And here we are again and up by 10 points against a team that I have no problem saying they're clearly more talented than, but what I want to say, and you kind of heard me say this last night because this is, I do think, what it is to the Ravens, the Ravens are really good. We know that I get that, but on the offensive side of the ball, I don't know if I would call the Ravens a great running team, and I don't know if I'd call them a great passing team. And I think that's what comes back to bite them in the ass in these moments. They're running statistics are always good. I get that, but a lot is all because of Lamar Jackson and his running ability. I value running teams that I look at and go, when they need to push the defense alignment back and open a hole for four yards, they can do it whenever they want. And the Ravens can always do that when they want. And even in this game, yeah, they had a drive or two, Derek Henry had big runs, but it wasn't consistent, we're just dominating you off the line of scrimmage. You go into their pass game, more times than not, it's a collection of plays. You know, we hear me say, surgicality is a thing, right? They are not a surgical pass team. That's not what they are. They're kind of like, hey, we made a few plays, and then woo, Lamar made a big scramble, and Lamar made a big throw and we went down and scored. And that's a hard way to kind of put teams away all the time. And the Raiders tough as hell, but yeah, that's what I worry about the Ravens. What are they great at? - And look, anytime you have a season that ends in the number one seed and you fall short of getting to the Super Bowl and you feel like there's just a hard cap as long as Patrick Mahomes is around and you're not gonna get past him, it's hard to go back to zero and zero. It's very difficult to reset. The value of zero and zero is what Dennis Green called it. Everybody else is the same as you. You put in all that effort and all that work and everything went your way last year and you ultimately didn't even get to the Super Bowl. It's hard, I think, to focus and commit and put in that same weekend and week out. And you learn how quickly a loss here and a loss there. Oh my God, it doesn't feel like last year. I mean, last year they were 13 and four, this year they're 0 and two. They're half way to their total losses from last year. And number one offense in football. I get all the stats, I get it. Number one rushing team last year, but yet in the biggest game they didn't run, right? And again, it's not running by we just kick your butt like Harbaugh and the Chargers are doing. It's Lamar make a play for us run. And that is not like dominating the line of scrimmage and dominating another team. And then when you get a great defensive coordinator like Patrick Graham and Antonio Pierce and the Raiders who are tough and don't back down from anybody. And you see that Antonio Pierce style and the way he is as a person rubbing off in that football team, they didn't let Lamar run around crazy yesterday. My man Max Crosby was all over them. I mean, all game long, let alone late in the game has the big sack, but that's what I look at with them. It does feel like a little like last year still to like they need to have something on their offense. They can hang their hat on go, we're great at this. And in big moments, we can do that. Instead, it feels like they choose to be, hey, we're good at this and we're good at this, but they need to be great to close some of these teams out. And that's an issue. - Well, and they're almost like the- - Here we go. This is what I was looking for. - Most blown double digit leads in the fourth quarter of any coach since at least 1991 after losing the Ravens for his ninth blown lead that comes courtesy of Josh Dubao of the AP. It's almost like the Chiefs, they play with their food, but the Chiefs get away with it. And the Ravens don't. - The Chiefs make the big play though, even in that moment to do that. And again, here was another game where statistically Baltimore looked better, but the Raiders made all the big plays and the big moments to win the football game. And it's showing you a little bit like, hey, there's some teams that like to move the ball between the 20s and 30s. And there's other teams that, yeah, they might not move the ball in between the 20s and 30s as much, but when they do move the ball, they go down and score touchdowns. And we saw that in Devontae Adams and Minshew got hot late in the game yesterday. - A weird moment late in the game. I thought Lamar Jackson should have held on to the ball and tried to score that touchdown. - I definitely ran a little longer. - It felt like there was more, it was more. Yeah, but it's Lamar Jackson. - I know, you should have ran at least 10 more yards. - Yeah, I just felt like. - So we'll see how they recover from it. I also think we're both dead in the gutter. I think we both had the Ravens. - I'm twice in a row. - Yeah, I think I'm dead in the gutter. - Yeah, oh, hard to come back from that. Because I figured Ravens after extra time in Salty and the Raiders didn't look great week one. - They were up by 10 points in the book order. - Kudos to the Raiders for hanging tough and getting it done. And that's kind of culture building, faith building, find way to win, gardner Minshew. This is why they have gardner Minshew. He instills a belief that would be absent without him playing. Okay, last one real quickly. It doesn't make up for Super Bowl 49 award. It still doesn't make up for Super Bowl 49 award. The Seahawks are three and O against the Patriots since losing Super Bowl 49. They would trade all three of those and then some two have won Super Bowl 49. But they went into New England. They get the win in overtime. It looked like the Patriots going to win it. I thought they were going to win it. The Patriots have nothing to be ashamed of. They have to turn it around on the short week now and take on the Jets. Gino Smith looked great. 33 for 44, 327 yards and a touchdown. And the strength of the Patriots, the defense, well, they weren't defending Gino Smith very well on Sunday. And that ultimately contributed to the Patriots falling to one in one. Seattle's, they're explosive on the offensive side of the ball. I mean, Gino's got a big arm. We know that Ryan Grub, the new OC from Washington. You're seeing that, hey, they're going to, they can attack down the football field a little bit. So he's added some juice to the offensive side of the ball and what they're doing there. I like that Gino made a lot of big throws yesterday. He really did. And of course, with DK Metcalf, Jackson Smith and Jigma, and Lockett, it's a tough three guys to match up with if you want to play a ton of man to man and do that. But ultimately, it was a really good football game. The Patriots are tough and the Patriots are maximizing what they are as a team. I mean, the defense is still, yeah, they lit up a yard of yards, but it wasn't a ton of points. They kept them in the game and damn can the Patriots run the football. I mean, Antonio Gibson yesterday, holy crap that he controlled the clock. And they moved that Seahawks defense a line that will that points. But ultimately, it was too many good players and big plays from the Seahawks to help them pull off the win. It would have been something if the Patriots could have pulled it off and gotten to 2-0, but it was not to be. He'll go blocked late, right? Could have gone up six. Bad sack that Jacobi Percet takes, loses yards. Now the kicker's got to kick the ball farther. The trajectories are a little lower. It gives the Seahawks a chance to block the field goal. They block it and ultimately allowed them to tie the game late with the field goal. All right, let's take a break. When we return the term vomit ball. Whoa, took on a very literal meaning yesterday at Lambo Field. More PFC live right after this. What's better, vomit ball or swamp ass? Dual evidence, although you might not want to see it if you have yet to eat breakfast or probably if you have. Malik Willis ran the ball on this play. Didn't throw it because he didn't want to subject anyone else to this. Oh, the center Josh Myers vomited on the football. Chris, you have dealt with swamp ass. Have you ever dealt with vomit ball? I have not dealt with vomit ball there, but that would be a problem. I don't know what I'd do there. That's disgusting. I mean, what do you do? I'd like to say, hey, center, take your hand off the ball for a second and at least puke behind yourself or something, but don't puke on the ball. That's a first for me there. That was pretty good. There used to be a time when when someone would throw up, they would kind of cut away from it. Now it's like they embrace it. Like I walking off the field puking all over himself, puking into a trash can, puke this, puke that. Here's Matt LaFloor head coach of the Green Bay Packers explaining what happened there after the Packers beat the Colts 16 to 10. I asked Malik why he didn't throw the ball in that third down and he told me that Josh threw up on the ball. I was like, that's the first time I've ever heard that. Matter of fact, the official came over to me. Sean came over to me and said, you know, we saw your center throwing up on the ball. Do you want us to take them out next time? I said, absolutely. Please do that because, I mean, you're talking about a critical situation and it's third down and I've never had a throw with vomit on a football. So I don't know. I don't think Malik Pride didn't appreciate that. - Yeah, that's something that you really can't plan for. Of all the things that you can possibly account for that could happen, the center throwing up on the ball right before the snap. And I don't, I mean, I'm sure there are some quarterbacks out there. This isn't an knock on Malik Willis. I'm sure there's some guys out there that still want to throw in the fricking ball. I don't care if there's vomit on the ball, they've got to get the first down. - I think so. I mean, you're right. It's third and 10. I don't know what throw he expected him to make. There was a shallow crosser there by the tight end where he could have thrown it to him. Certainly, I don't know if he would have got the first down. But maybe he just was afraid that maybe the ball was so chunky and wet that he literally felt like it was going to slip out of his hand. - One of the stories Tony Dungy tells about Super Bowl 41, Peyton Manning knew it was going to rain. So he said, we got to practice with wet balls. We hear that story all the time. So maybe you just got to practice with vomit balls. Maybe you got to carve out a little time, right? Rub out a little time and have somebody puke on the ball and go out and throw the pass just to be ready. And you can try other, like you could do poop ball, you could do all four all sorts of stuff. - All right, stop, get out of here, all right. - Either way though, let's the Packers. - I don't know why that should be one of my best bets last week. - I'm with you, we both. - The Colts did nothing week one and they've done nothing with Anthony Richardson quarterback consistent and sustained to make us say, although go in there and beat the Packers at Lambo Field even if they don't have Jordan Love. It's Lambo Field, it's the Packers. The Packers have a good team. - That's right. - Some teams are capable of winning without their starting quarterback and the Packers are one of them. - Definitely, I mean, we need to respect the culture of the Green Bay Packers and the respect of Vermatla Floor, who's one of the best coaches in football, but for some reason, kind of gets forgotten about all the time. But yes, you said it right, they're a good football team with a lot of other things to lean on other than, oh, we just need to have Jordan Love. They're not a one trick pony. And what an a great investment they made in this guy right here, Josh Jacobs. Good job by Guten Coast, the GM, bringing him in. They're not a team that always gets free agents. Malik Willis, we need a backup quarterback. They make that move. So I gotta give them props there. But physically dominated the Colts. The Colts obviously have a problem with run defense. And then DeForest Buckner got hurt yesterday too. So that's scary. Let alone, I don't think they got a lot of big time players on their front seven to go to begin with. But this game, as we know, was close to being a blowout too. I mean, Josh Jacobs, they're going in to go up 17 nothing and thumbles as he's going into the end zone. And that, by all due accounts, it felt like would have been checkmate game over, right? If that allowed the Colts to kind of hang around and make it a little interesting at the end. But the run game was big time. Green Bay's got a pretty good offensive line. They keep you off kilter with some of the reverses and speed sweeps. And then Malik Willis as the game went on hit a thrower too. And they pull out the win. But good for Green Bay to get it done. Yeah. And any game they can win without Jordan Law, that's money in the back. Because he'll be back week four, week five or week six. He was questionable. Up until what Saturday, they dropped him to DeForest when activated. Sean Clifford's inside the squad. So we'll see what happens. But hey, they got that win. Great for the Packers. They get the one in one. Well, other than we, you said it on him with the Colts. And that's when we got a lot. We see superstar plays from Anthony Richardson. We get that. But you see a lot of plays and decisions and throws where you go. That's not up to starting quarterback caliber. And that's where we got to work that out. Because that's what hurt them the most with him missing most of last year. You've got to work through some of that stuff he needed. That was the narrative he needs to play. He needs reps. And now he's getting in year two, what he should have gotten in year one. And it's going to hold the Colts back. And it may cause GMR say to make some changes because he's going to get impatient because we've seen it before. Yeah, I don't think they'll be in the upper quartile this year. No, no upper quartiles, no banners to be hung at Lucas Oil Stadium. Commanders and the Giants got together yesterday. And the Giants, this is our most trafficked story from today. And it was number two yesterday. Giants are the second team ever to lose when they scored three touchdowns and gave up zero touchdowns. The only other team was the 1989 Rams in a game against the Vikings where the Vikings had all field goals. Just like the commander's six field goals. That third touchdown by the Rams made it 21-18. I stormed out of my apartment and went to the grocery store. These were days before cell phones had no idea what happened. When I got back, it turned out the Vikings had won 23-21 with the first ever safety and overtime. A block pump by Mike Meriwether. Wow. In overtime, the Vikings had a Hail Mary pass to Hassan Jones who wore 84 before Randy Moss to get them into field goal range forced overtime and won it that didn't work out with a victim for the Giants yesterday. They're the first team to blow it in overtime or in regular-- excuse me-- in regulation. The Rams at least blew it in overtime. The Giants found a way to blow those circumstances in the regular season. And it's just kind of indicative of where they are right now. Even when it goes well, it doesn't go well. I mean, you almost feel like it's their curse to a degree. With the Graham Gannoe, the injury, him kicking the opening kick off, not being able to kick again. They try to kick the extra point after the first touchdown by Singletary. It's missed badly. Then therefore, the rest of the game, they have to go for two points. They have to go forward at the end of the game when they're in field goal range at that point. But can't do it. Malik neighbors, who was awesome all day long. Here's the play, fourth and fourth. I mean, it's going to be the two-minute warning right after this. Easiest catch Malik neighbors had all day on the sidelines. He drops it and Washington goes down and makes a few plays and kicks the field goal. But yeah, the Giants played good enough to win the football game. It wasn't perfect, but they didn't play good enough. And them not having Graham Gannoe was a huge blow to their chances. Three touchdowns, three failed conversions for the Giants, seven field goals for Austin's Cybert. They just cut Kay York and income cybert with seven field goals to get the victory on the walk-off. And yeah, neighbors dropped the fourth down. Catch and then down the field went the commanders. Jaden Daniels, who got banged up at one point, making folks nervous. Big investment face of the franchise. He had 44 rushing yards, 226 passing, 23 for 29. Pretty efficient, pretty efficient. But it just felt like that's a game that there aren't many Ws screaming out of the Giants' schedule. No. And the kicker contingency-- I mean, what can you really do? You only got 51 roster spots. You have to make your assessments ahead of game time. But that's the kind of thing that gets people fired. That's the kind of thing John Maris going to want a few explanation today. What day was it? Friday or Saturday that they put something out there? Yeah, it was late in the week. So at least you know your guys banged up. You better have a plan. You better do something. Yeah, they rolled the dice. You better do something. Because in a close game like that, you're going to need your kicker at some point. So yeah, hopefully they're doing another-- that we don't know about hard knocks, where John Maris is going to be in asking some tough questions today about how the help they got to this point. Yeah, that's-- I'm going to listen. They're going to have to dig into that. The defense did not look great, like you said. Jaden Daniels has been very smooth. By far, the best rookie so far. He's comfortable in the offense. It's an offense he ran in college. He's throwing the ball on the money. He doesn't seem to be making any dicey decisions, makes a few plays with his legs and does that. That's the opposite of things for Jaden Daniels, not a lot of negatives. And early on in the game, the Giants couldn't get off the field on third down, because it's stuff like this. Maybe it was a good throw, or he'd make an incredible run and make a play there that way. But the throwing, as you see, is really good. The playmaking and scrambling and throws off of that is really good. They got something there in Washington with Jaden Daniels, definitely, and got the run game going, too. But you said it. Graham Ganomas can be able to-- let's not forget. It was 12-9. The Giants were driving, Devin Singletary, broke a run, and fumbled in a big moment of the game, too. Washington recovered. And I believe went down and kicked a field goal to tie it up. This is the prime example, though, of why what happened with Geno can get people fired. Yeah. Geno went on the injury report on Saturday. It was Saturday, yep. The Giants could have elevated Jude Mcatamney from the practice squad. They have a guy on the practice squad. They could have elevated them. They didn't. They have 52 guys on the roster, because they put Gunnar Olszewski on injured reserve. So they could have elevated the kicker and been ready to go. Now they would have had to activate the kicker, but there were ways to make that happen if you-- Why wouldn't they? After the game, Brian Davol said we thought Graham Ganomas would be good to go, while shame on you for not knowing the truth. Well, that'll teach you that you can't take a risk like that with a kicker. And of course, we know that's-- hey, it's-- And we've seen this before. This isn't as unprecedented as vomit ball. We've seen issues with kickers before, and we've seen what can happen in a game that's going to be close, hard fought. It always is between the commanders and the Giants. You better make sure that when you have the chance, especially when you consider all the-- I mean, the field goals become automatic. You take extra points and field goals off the table for a team that changes everything. And you're-- you know, without-- I'm not trying to be disrespectful. The Giants are a field goal team. That's what they are. I mean, we're not-- like, as giant fans going, oh, we're going to score 45 points every week and just score touchdowns and watch us go. We're going to win games. It's going to be like this. That's how we-- what we are right now. We're not great. It's going to be close. It's going to be the field goal kicker. You're going to have to do it. Definitely going to raise some eyes here in the New York area and people question that decision for you. OK, how about Kyler Murray? Yeah. He is back. Yes, he is. And better than ever, as some would say. But in this case, it's true. He looked incredible yesterday. He had said last week after Marvin Harrison didn't do much in his debut. It's not my job to throw the ball to him, which means it's my job to throw to the guy who's open. And when Harrison's open, throw to Harrison. Yes, it is. Get Harrison going. And they did. And there's wisdom in that. You don't want to force it to any one guy. You just want to take what's there. And if nothing's there, you move around. You buy a time. You take eight and a half seconds to finally throw the ball. There's no defending that. No, there's not. I mean, play that play back again that one more time. If you can't, this scramble. I mean, it's hilarious. What I laugh at is the guy on the edge here on the bottom. That's Jared verse number eight. He sacks up twice and misses. Look, he misses him. He misses him again. And he's like, wait, the quarterbacks like this didn't play. I didn't play against guys like this in college football. What? He runs four, three, and he's a quarterback. What the hell? They got it going. They're well coached football team on both sides. Petzing, the offensive coordinator's good. We know Gannon's a good defensive mind. That was a butt whooping yesterday. I mean, it really was. And usually we see it the other way around Rams. The Rams are a beat up football team. They're very beat up. They can't run. Cooper cup injuries. Pook a Nakua not there. Offensive lineman banged up. And then we've talked about it really the last two weeks. The Rams defense is, it's going to take a step back by all due accounts. It looks like it. I'm a little concerned about the Rams, but damn, that was amazing by Kyle and Murray. And good for Marvin Harrison and come back. I'm very concerned about the Rams. I feel like they're very close to having the wheels come off. And it's only week two. Yeah. It reminds me a lot of the year after they won the Super Bowl, where it's just kind of a lost season. I feel like it's a lost season for them in the making, because there's just too many injuries. They've reached the critical mass of injuries. They really have. There's something to be said, but they needed their offense to kind of carry their squad here. And that's where you kind of looked at them and go, hey, they're capable of that. With that old line and that running back in Nakua and Cooper Cup, they'll be fine. But now it's what? Three offense alignment out. It's Stafford is not going to be the guy that runs around and makes plays that way. And now the receivers aren't there. Oh, that's scary for Los Angeles. Nakua's already on IR. Cup was in a walking boot, not good for the Rams. Let's take a break. When we returned, very good for the Pittsburgh Steelers who went to Denver and pulled off a victory that and more when PFT Live continues right after this. Low scoring game, a lot of low scoring games. 13 to 6, not a surprise. Grind it out. Steelers suffocated bone nicks. Mike Tomlin now 25 and 6 against rookie quarterbacks. And really not a stunner. Tomlin, by the way, Mike Tomlin coached the Steelers beating Sean Payton for the first time in four games. Sean Payton's team still has some work to do. They definitely do. Encouraging, Justin Fields did some good things. It wasn't wowing, but he controlled the ball really didn't make any dicey decisions. Your ultimate Steelers game, right? Oh, it's going to be a defensive struggle where we can play ugly and just out hit you against a rookie quarterback. Sure, that's why we both picked the Steelers in this one because it just felt like it was set up for them to win this game ugly. Nice throw here by Justin Fields. The Steelers, I think it is encouraging. Their run game is moving people back and off the line of scrimmage. It looks like they're going to be able to depend on that. And we'll see as they continue to go here with Justin Fields, what they do will Russell Wilson be in. But the rookie quarterback, Bonyx, overwhelmed early on, they can't run-- like the Bears, they can't run the ball. But then they don't have a guy that is really scary on the outside that scares you that way too. And I'm sure Sean Payton can put his whole offense in with the rookie quarterback and it's showing. And Bonyx has definitely struggled the first two weeks. One quick aesthetic point as well. And I call upon our friends at Nike to ensure that the uniforms allow us to immediately distinguish one team from another. When they started playing that game yesterday, it's like, why are they showing Steelers Texans highlights from some time that they played in the past? Oh, yeah, you-- The Broncos look like the Texans. I can't tell them apart. They do not. Yes, they do. Why? What is it? It's blue and it's blue and that's the-- No, I thought it was the Texas. They always blew with blue pants. And it's just too similar. The only thing that changes is a Matt helmet. That's the only thing that changed. OK, there's the number I lost. It looks too much like the Texans to me. It looks like the Texans. It is the same structure. I get you there. But I mean, younger eyes can see a Bronco on the side of the helmet and figure it out. That's fine. Browns and the Jaguars, there are no uniforms you can confuse either of those with, really, for the most part except Bengals under certain circumstances with the Browns. That was a big win for the Cleveland. To go down to Jacksonville and get a win at a time when it felt like everything was crumbling quickly for the Browns. They got embarrassed at home by the Cowboys Week 1. They needed this one desperately. And the Jaguars had the Dolphins beaten in Week 1 and it fell apart and it falls apart again. Now look, the Jaguars had their chances, but I think that makes it even more frustrating. Yeah, right. They're 1 in 7 in their last eight games. Yeah, that's a little scary. It's 16, 10, score a touchdown. It was an illegal shift. That got called back, called the touchdown back. They settled for a field goal at 16 to 3. The Browns defense suffocated the Jacksonville Jaguars. Yes. That's the biggest issue. They couldn't do anything to late in the football game. And the Browns offense, even though it wasn't great, it chewed up a lot of time on the clock. They had some long drives. Yes, but they couldn't score touchdowns and really put Jacksonville away. It allowed them to keep it interesting to late in the football game. And the owner of the Jaguars made it clear before the season, my expectation is winning. They're going to be some very nervous people in Jacksonville until they turn. They better go this. They're too good to be 0 and 2. We have exhausted. Remember when we were ahead of schedule? It feels like a long time ago. We're not ahead of schedule anymore. We've got to cram in two more segments. We're going to do our Sunday statement draft when PFC Live continues right after this. We've already successfully achieved our objective of talking about every victor from yesterday, which is kind of surprising. So we got a clean slate Sunday statement draft. No need to pick up a mess that we might have made by skipping a game. So where do you go? I was disappointed I didn't bring this up earlier. I'm going to go Brock Bowers with the Raiders. Yes, Sunday statement for real. They showed that they're going to be capable of featuring him. And they did a good job, especially down the stretch, of basically going, wait, we're going to feed Devonta Adams and Brock Bowers. And he made a lot of damn good plays and looks the part. Like legit big time passing threat at the tight end position for the Raiders. We mentioned him briefly at the top of the show when we talked about the Chiefs Bengals game. But Rishi Rice, 75 yards, not 75 reception, 75 yards, a touchdown on five catches. On a day when the Chiefs didn't feel like the Chiefs, that was the one kind of common threat. And he's had a couple of big games now as he emerges as the number one receiver for Patrick Mahomes. Definitely. I think he's going to have to continue to be that guy for sure, especially with the Pacheco injury and Xavier Worthy still being young and coming along. Will McDonald, Will McDonald for the New York Jets. It's a shame. Jermaine Johnson got hurt. It sounds like he tore his Achilles. Will McDonald, three sacks. They raved about him in training camp. There's the Hassan Redic situation. But damn, he was awesome yesterday in the football game. Really good player at all aspects of the game. But starting to show that he's a legit pass rusher. Since we have indeed given love to every team that won, and we don't have to force anything in here, we can't call it Sunday's statement without Alvin Camara in four touchdowns. And Mike Zimmer, not being in a position to be surprised, because he's seen him score six. And I guess that's the only silver lining. Hey, at least he didn't score six. I've lived through him scoring six. Good job. We've modeled him up today. Good job holding him to only four. We'll be back when we're PFT live right after this. All right, there are a pick so far for the Sunday statement draft to a certain extent, trying to give love to guys. If we didn't talk about earlier in the show, who do you have? I'm going to go with Quentin Johnston for the Los Angeles Chargers. I mean, it took a lot of abuse. Oh, first round pick. Hasn't lived up to the billing. Will they depend? Can they depend on them to be the number one guy this year? Hopefully that was the start of something good for him there. Two touchdowns, 50 yards receiving. And he can be that go-to target for Herbert. We talked earlier about Kyle Murray and his great day. Marvin Harrison had four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns. How about James Connor? Oh, he's been like the heart and soul of that team. There are a lot of shit in Arizona. 122 rushing yards, a touchdown. And he went over 5,000 career rushing yards. A great story. Great story. Can't you while a great guy. Four years with the Steelers, they didn't want to keep him. They probably should have. Yeah, he's a damn player. They probably should have. And the Cardinals are happy and lucky to have him. Quick preview. Eagles Falcons, they play tonight. That's it. Eagles win.
