I'm your pocket fillers. The poll they kill us. The North side. Start the broadcast. Subscribe with smash. The Gorilla sports podcast. Hey guys, welcome into the Gorilla sports podcast. I'm your host Alex bullpen and it is Monday, September the 16th. Boom, another banging day. What a weekend we just had. We went five and one Friday, three and one Saturday. And then all of the plays that came in yesterday. So we had six player props. We went six and O on our NFL player props yesterday. I had two latter plays that I wanted to tell you about. They both came through. I told you to take a same game parlay. That one as well. So we had two losers. One of our losers yesterday was the free play on free. No sweat touchdown prop. I told you to take Jonathan Taylor. That didn't win. Yeah. Well, it was a free bet. You get your money back. The one losing play we had was from MLB. We took Aaron judge to get one hit and we took Vladimir Guerrero to get one hit. Judge came through flat. He did not. So we lost that play. But man, oh man, let's get into the NFL that we had yesterday. So let's start in my favorite game that I was telling you about. I love this Tampa Bay and Detroit game. We took Jared Goff over two hundred and sixty seven and a half passing yards. He went up to three oh seven. Boom. Smash that. Then we took Jamo. Jamison Williams. Of the Detroit Lions, the wide receiver. We need him over five excuse me, forty five and a half receiving yards. He ended up with seventy nine. I told you I was going to ladder him up to sixty, seventy and eighty. So the sixty and seventy came through. He just missed out on the eighty. But that was still profit again. I told you to take over his longest catch of twenty one and a half receiving yards and that he'd covered that in four of his last five games. He got that in the first quarter. Goth bombed one out for over fifty yards for him. So that cash literally two plays with one catch over his reception or over his longest reception and over his receiving yards in one play in the first quarter. Boom. And then to add to the same game parlay, I told you to take Chris Godwin over his receiving yards. Uh, it was anywhere from fifty seven and a half to sixty one and a half. I said I didn't care. Any of those numbers would work. He got a hundred and seventeen. This cash in the first half as well. Boom. I told you the same game parlay all of these together that worked out too, but it was seven to one shot. So that was a smashing game. Love that. Our next plays we took Malik neighbors over sixty six and a half. I said this was a smash spot for him. I told you that this guy could scorch them for over a hundred yards. And what did he do? He went for a hundred and twenty seven versus this terrible Washington defense. Boom. Smash that as well. Now I lattered that as well. It got up to plus two ninety when you went to a hundred plus that came through as a winner as well. Uh, our next play is we took Joe mix in and we took him over fourteen and a half receiving yards. This cash in the first half, man. This, this was another bang on Reed. Now he got injured. He didn't play about a quarter and a half, almost two quarters. And even when he did came back, he's a little bit hobbled. So again, smash spot for this. I was telling you that Chicago is the worst team in the NFL by far for receiving yards for a running back. And this is now nineteen games in a row that Chicago has let the running opposing running back go over their total. We won it last week with Tony Pollard. We wanted this week with Joe mix and we'll see you next week. All right, guys. So that is our recap. Boom. We smashed it. Let's get into some plays today. All right. We're going to go to Monday night football first. Now, I don't have a huge read on this game. Now, AJ Brown has decided he's not going to go today. So my play today is I'm going to take Johan Dotson. Now, this is the Washington wide receiver who is a big prospect, but just kind of fizzled out in Washington. Now, whether it was his fault or just a terrible quarterback play, not everybody, not all wide receivers can play with bad quarterbacks. Some of them do. Some of them do well. You look at guys like Mike Evans has hasn't had good quarterbacks. I mean, obviously Brady and a couple guys along the way, but he's been rough. I mean, even Terry McClellan in Washington has figured out ways to to produce with with bad quarterback play. Same thing with DJ Moore. He's been, you know, struggling with terrible quarterback play his whole career. So we're going to about to see what happens, but this line is set at 27 and a half. Now, this guy is the clear number two for today anyway, on this team. Now, obviously, Devontae Smith's lines have gone skyrocketing up. They're up over 71 and a half. I was looking at him as well, but I think there's just better value in getting Johan Dotson. Now, with all the coach speak, they've been talking him up saying that he's really learned the playbook well and he's he's acclimating to Philly really well. So the coaches all seem to love him, which is perfect, but 27 and a half yards. This seems super low. You would think this would be in the 40s. Now, I I'm not completely convicted on this play. So the only play I'm doing is this one and it's only because I have a 50% profit boost. Now, you all should too, whether it's from FanDuel, this one's on DraftKings. So I'm going to take that 27 and a half and I am going to use my 50% profit boost to get it from a minus 120 to a plus 125. Now, I do see a ton of value in that. If it was a straight play by itself, I don't know if I would take it, but to get it at a plus 125, there's a ton of value in this. So that is my one play for Monday night football and I have some batter parlays that I do like today. Let's get into some baseball. Our first play is we are going to take Ezekiel Tovar of the Colorado Rockies to get one hit and we're going to pair that parlay that with Willie Contreras of the Milwaukee Brewers to get one hit. And when you pair these two guys together, you get a minus 110, so a nice reasonable price. Now Ezekiel Tovar, he is six for 13 with a Holmer and two doubles versus Merrill Kelly. So he's back in 467 and he's also three for five in 2024 versus Kelly. Perfect and they're playing in Colorado today. So very hitter-friendly Colorado park. It's a beautiful day there today. So the ball should be popping off the bats. I think the line's told at 11 and a half. So they're expected a lot of hits and a lot of runs. So Ezekiel Tovar is a perfect play for us and Willie Contreras is going versus Rangers Suarez today. Now he is seven for 15 with three home runs versus Rangers Suarez. Massive. Now that's 313 versus left-handed pitching. And Suarez's recent form hasn't been that good. He just gave up 12 hits at four runs to Tampa Bay his last time out. So pairing these two guys together at a minus 110 is a beautiful value. Love this play. Our next play is we're going to go to that same game. And we're going to take Christian Walker to get one hit. And we're going to pair that with Lawrence Butler of the Oakland A's. Now Christian Walker has come off injuries. He's eight games back from his injury and he's got a hit in seven of those eight games. Perfect. And he's going versus Antonio Senza Tala. Now this guy was kind of a prospect last year. But he only pitched two, excuse me, two starts last year before going down for Tommy John Serger. Now this is his 2024 debut. And it's going to be in Colorado against a very hitter, a very great hitting team in Arizona. Now Christian Walker is five for seven, batting 714 for versus Senza Tala. So that is beautiful. However, he's a minus 400 to get one hit. So we have to find some lower odds to pair that way to get it at a reasonable price. Enter Lawrence Butler. They just, they just absolutely keep sleeping on this guy. So he just finished his 22 game hitting streak last game. He did not get a hit versus Chicago. And he's going versus Shota of Monica today. But actually Butler hits better against left-handed pitching than right-handed pitching. He's batting 297 versus lefties. So I'm not sure why they're sleeping on this guy. But we're going to take Lawrence Butler and Christian Walker together. And you get that at a minus 111. Perfect. Our next play is a similar kind of idea where we're going to take Bobby Witt to get one hit. Now Bobby Witt is going versus Reese Olson today. And he's batting five for 10 with a homer and two doubles, batting 500 versus this guy. Now Bobby Witt is also in the minus 400 range. So again, we have to find somebody under the radar to kind of pair with him. So that we don't have to pay a ridiculous price for this batter parlay. And I found the perfect guy. We're going to take Nolan Arnado today of the St. Louis Cardinals. Now he's going versus super rookie Paul Skeens. However, he hits Skeens really well. He's pitched, Skeens is pitched twice versus St. Louis. And Arnatives got hits in both of them. He went two for three, his very first time versus Skeens. And then he went one for three with a homer his last time. So he's three for six, batting 500 versus Paul Skeens. And when you pair Bobby Witt and Nolan Arnado together, you get a minus one 16. Perfect. Love that. Our last and final play of the day is we're going to take Shohei Otani to get one hit. Now he's going versus Max Frieden in Atlanta today. And he's three for three with a homer and two singles versus Max Fried this year. Perfect. And we're going to pair it with Stephen Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians. Now he's going versus Pablo Lopez today. And he is seven for 14, batting 500 versus Pablo Lopez. And he's two for three with a double in 2024 versus perfect. When you pair Otani and Kwan together, you get a minus 109. All right. We got to keep this run going. We had a massive weekend. We got one NFL play, four MLB batter parlays. And if you guys are rocking with me, let's roll. [BLANK_AUDIO]
