Triad media outlets have been unable to obtain details about accidents on several bridge road and river road Friday around 6.15 p.m. Vehicles from the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office and NC State Highway Patrol were involved. A female deputy was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Shiloh Fire Department was one of the agency's responding. The NC State Board of Elections says absentee ballots will be mailed Friday, September 20th, to military and overseas voters. Everyone else a week from tomorrow, September 24th. They were delayed by several court rulings regarding Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and his We the People Party. DH Griffin Senior's first job was dismantling a church for salvage building materials. Annual revenue was now in excess of $400 million, and the company served domestic and international markets with a network of 1,200 employees. Based in Greensboro, clients include Amazon, Disney and Duke Energy. The boys had planned in Virginia, linked to a fatal listeria outbreak, has closed indefinitely. At least nine people have died and dozens hospitalized. According to government inspectors, the plant in Jarrett repeatedly violated federal regulations. Freddie Mac has released the results of its primary mortgage market survey, showing the 30-year fixed rate mortgage is now averaging 6.2%. That's the lowest level for mortgages since February 2023. Naviant, a major student loan servicer, has reached a settlement with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to resolve government claims of abusive practices over the years.
