My friends are degenerates, but I never changed them. Liars, sheets, and hypocrites, not get time for a save, baby. 35-40, 45-50, 45, there goes Davis! Oh my God! Davis is going to run it all the way back! Lebron's going to win the football game! But it comes free to Henry and out of Allen, here it goes. Three-pointer, got it! We're three-cylinder two anyway. It has time to do something! Sucks for the win! Oh my gosh! You're listening to the Festa Juice podcast with your host, Cody Mitchell. It's Connor Holliday. Better juice podcast, Cody Mitchell, Connor Holliday, here. Week three of the college football season is in the books, like we said, going into it. Not the sexiest weekend, but I think, honestly, it delivered pretty hard. I had a lot of fun watching the game Saturday. I mean, I always have fun, but yeah, the slate was decently good. Just a lot of games that we kind of anticipated would be good and just turned out to be blowouts. Yeah, the transit properties of this college football season are insane. Like, none of them make any sense. Mm-hmm. I feel like a lot of games could have went my way. Some didn't. Then I had some that did too, so I can't complain about it, but... Just doesn't help that you can't beat me. I can't. He prays on me. I know. He knows when it's a Cody's betting with his harp game, and he knows to bet the other side. I mean, no, I just bet the right side. I mean, you only beat me in one, here, but... I beat you in two. You beat me in one, but... I beat you in two. I cover my number. No, that was the... There were three that we were on differences about, and two of them went my way. What was the other one? Uh, Pit West Virginia. Oh, yeah. I... I didn't give a pick out on the show, but I bet. Bullshit. I did not. I said I'm always going to pick West Virginia, but I'm going to sit back and bet the game. All right. Well... Yeah. Go ahead and read it, rattle off. What was week three of college football? Yeah, we'll just really quick touch on the big game, starting off with Friday night. Kansas State 31, Arizona 7. Just absolute dominant win by the Wildcats. Well, Kansas State World. One of the Wildcats. For Kansas State, the offense was just operating at peak performance. The three-headed monster that I talked about in the run game was almost unstoppable. Avery Johnson, 17 carries 110 yards. DJ Gideon, 17 carries. 86 yards, one touchdown. Dylan Edwards, 6 carries, 41 yards. Also did have the 71 yard punt return for touchdown. They, as a team, averaged 5.9 yards per carry. Like that. It's pretty good. Yeah. When that... When that running attack is humming, there's not many teams. Honestly, in the big 12 that I think can stop it. Outside of the city, Utah. Possibly. For Arizona, like, made that first drive look really easy. And then after that, it was like moving the ball down the field seemed tough at times. But it just feels like the offense runs through T-Mac. And he's not getting much help from anyone else. You kind of need those other guys to step up. And I mean, the defense alone just had no answer for the rushing attack that Kansas State was throwing out there. No, like New Mexico rushed, I think like 20 yards less than Kansas State did. Arizona's run defense is not good. Honestly, and their defense to a little bit is suspect. But yeah, it's tough because coming into the season, we still liked Arizona. We still like the pieces. Now the thing, the caveat to take away from this game, this wasn't a big 12 game. So as far as like what goes into the big 12 standings, this has no effect on it. No, it doesn't, but I just... I'm definitely thinking Arizona is definitely not on that. Like, we kind of had a tear below the top tier. They might even be a little bit lower than that. But I think even looking at the rest of their schedule, like, I don't know many defenses that they're playing there that tough that like can match up with T-Mac, honestly. That's true, but you got to be able to... Well, we're talking about with T-Mac. Yeah, I mean, not very many teams are going to be able to stop him, but when he's normally option and you can double him and basically just keep all eyes on him. Outside of their next game, which secondary is like really because their offense is just through the air. But what secondary they play at Utah next? Chocking that up as a loss. Then you're hosting Texas Tech at BYU, hosting Colorado, hosting West Virginia, at UCF, hosting Houston, at TCU, hosting Arizona State. Not many secondaries on that schedule that really scare me about like slowing down this passing attack. I'm sure you're just going to have to win a shootout every single game. Yeah, I mean your defense isn't... You let 232 yards up to New Mexico. All right, to hit on some of the bigger games on Saturday, just we'll hit on this quick because coming into the week, it was considered a big game. But Alabama 42 Wisconsin 10 just utter domination, different caliber of athlete out there. And once Tyler Van Dyke went down, Wisconsin had like zero to no shot of game this. Yeah, I didn't think that we're going to come close either way. He can stay in there. I outlined the hell out of this game. I thought the 42 or the 41 and a half was... I forgot about that. But I did have the 27 and a half at plus 300. Yeah, and then the second he goes down like... Yeah, I had a lot riding on Bama and I want to say it was super easy because at the beginning of the game, the offense still had a little bit of clunkiness. But then they just realized, "Oh, their secondary can't keep up with our athletes." Do you follow Joel and Twitter? Joel, your cousin Joel? No, I didn't. Dude, I texted Hunter and I'm like, "Because he's just complaining about Wisconsin and the ref." I'm like, "Dude, Joel got like a grand old Wisconsin right now." Because every tweet was, "The ref sucked. This quarterback sucks that everything was just dissing Wisconsin." All right, next game. Mizzou, 27 Boston College 21. This was a good game. I'll be it. It was a sloppy game by Mizzou. All those people that they sort of rested the last couple of weeks, whether it be Burden, Theo Ease, just some of those guys showed a little bit of rust. And obviously, this was their first serious game time. And you don't really like seeing the rust, but you even kind of saw it on the long bomb that BC had. Those just an absolute broken play. Like, I saw like a lot of rust just sloppy out of Mizzou. I think they could have came a lot closer to covering this game. Just wasn't what I fully expected. I thought they'd be a lot more up for this game. And I want to say they slept walk through this because like BC gave it to them. Like I'll give BC credit. They're a lot better than I thought they were going to be. They, I mean, they played so hard. And I kind of like the fact that it woke Mizzou up. And it's like, hey, this isn't going to come easy. We actually have to play. So yeah, I was in the press with the comeback for sure. It was a weird game where Boston College jumps out. Mizzou jumps up, gets up by two scores. Boston College starts to come back a little bit. I, I'm not really worried about Missouri. I actually just kind of think Boston College is a lot better than we anticipated. Yeah, they're going to be frisky throughout the season. Yeah, they might be one of the best five teams in the ACC. Could be. Well, I mean, we'll see how things go for the rest of the season, but promising signs from Boston College. This was just a phenomenal game. Wazoo 24, Washington 19, cashed on the plus five, cashed on the money line, just. Yeah, actually three of my five money lines hit this week. But the course, the two plus 500s, which are harder odds to hit. Did not, but yeah, I honestly, I've watched some highlights. I don't fuck peacock. I don't want peacock. So I did not catch catch the game. My wife was able to find a streaming service to get it, but it was just so behind. I just turned it off. I mean, when you take everything into perspective, like just looking at the stats, it looks like Washington sort of lost this game. They outgained Wazoo. They won the turnover battle, but then you see the one stat that just jumps out at you. 16 penalties for 135 yards. And a lot of those penalties were just at crucial points, whether they had just picked up a third down. And here it comes back for a hold. Fall starts. Yeah, there were times it did sound like more of a pro Wazoo crowd. And I thought it was going to be a little bit more split. I also at the same time just feel like Wazoo wanted this more. Like there was more of a fire out of Wazoo watching this game, where there were times that just seemed like Washington was just like going through the motions. There wasn't much sense of urgency or anything like that. Well, I mean, they also have the obviously this giant revenge game. Yeah, you left them and most of that Washington state team, they're not like Oregon State with the coach lab. Yeah, they retained a lot more and retained that coaching staff. Yeah, Jake Dicker is proving to be one of the better coaches in college football. Yeah, unfortunately for Wazoo, you're a springboard program. He'll probably coaching somewhere else. I hate saying that, but yeah, it sucks. It does. Yeah, even with you rebranding as the Pac-12. I mean, yeah, he's going to be a good coach somewhere else. Just the one last thing I have for this game, just an absolute terrible call on fourth and goal to run a speed option to the short side of the field with Will Rogers. Like, I don't know if it was just trying to catch them off guard. Like, oh, they'll never see this coming. Wazoo fucking sniff that out pretty fucking quick. Will didn't have a shot. And even when he pitched it, the running back had no shot. I just, I don't like that play call. It's kind of like when I'm playing college football 25 and I accidentally select the wrong play. And it's just like, oh, well, we're going to roll with it. Yeah, Will Rogers is a center block, dude. He's not, he's not Lamar Jackson out there. I don't know if he's ever ran an option play at, and Leech never ran a fucking option play for him. I know that. I did see that one. I'm like, that's, that's a tough call. That's a tough, that's a tough play for Will Rogers to run. All right, next game, Connor was right, Cody was wrong. Pit 38, West Virginia 34. Just another phenomenal game in the history of the back yard brawl. Just phenomenal game. The cardiac panthers do it again. Like coming back from down 34 24 with four minutes 55 seconds left in the game. Eli Holstein is a dog. 21 of 30, 301 yards, three touchdowns, 14 rushes for 59 yards, and just in those last two drives, four of six, 91 yards, one touchdown, five rushes for 63 yards. In that last drive, there was nobody else doing anything with that ball other than Holstein, except for the touchdown to win it, which he guys helmet ripped off on or not ripped off. It fell off on a run where I thought he almost got in, gets down at the one yard line, has to sit a play out because of him losing his helmet, but they handed off and the rest is history. Tough loss for West Virginia. The secondary worries definitely came back 100%, especially like, not only on that last drive, Pitt did commit a few penalties, but a lot of those yards in those last two drives, I think two or three of them might have been because of pass interference. Yeah, and there was the complete fucking bullshit hold on the touchdown that Gary Green throws. And then of course we got a punt and then Pitt blocks it and returns it for a touchdown. And just calm the fault. Well, not even that, it's just a crazy sequence because literally the punt before that was when he, when Pitt's not paying attention and the West Virginia punter ends up running and getting the first down. So it was just weird that you had that happen, followed up, the next punt gets blocked. Just, I mean, what else can you expect from the backyard, bro? Please for the love of God, keep this rivalry going. I don't know if they'll end up ever being like conference froze again, but this rivalry needs to continue to happen more. Yeah, it's not happening next year. That's as of right now though, or maybe it's two, it might be two years out because West Virginia plays Alabama and they're trying to get out of that one to continue this one. Probably a good call. Well, there's another funny scenario about team wanting to get out of a game that's for next season. Oh, which one is that? I'll just hit on it now. Uh, after the Ole Miss Wake Forest game, Wake Forest immediately was trying to get out of that game at Ole Miss next season. That makes sense. I mean, after the way that game went, yeah, kind of math checks out there. Next game, LSU 36 South Carolina 33. I kind of ate shit with laying the points with LSU, but this is just a bad shit crazy game. South Carolina seemed to do everything right to win this game. They, they, uh, they had that game and they just let it get away. They were hitting on those explosive ass runs, whether it was Sanders or Sellers. I know Sellers got knocked out of the game with the, uh, foot injury and that's when the game sort of turned a little bit, uh, that defensive line was giving LSU's offensive line problems. The whole game, Kyle Canard was a fucking menace in this game and outside of him, other people were just making phenomenal plays on that defensive line. Uh, I do question their passing attack, um, because more or less once Sellers went out, there was no passing attack. They, uh, God love Robbie Ashford for having all the confidence in the world. He is not a passer whatsoever. And like I said, once Sellers went out, there was no remnants of a passing attack, especially when you need Ashford to complete passes on that last drive. And he just, yeah, he's not going to win any games through the air. I, I will say I thought there was a lot of terrible calls in this game. Granted, I wanted LSU to win because I have LSU to make the playoff, but I don't know. I'm kind of selling a lot of my LSU stock. I'm a little worried. Yeah, you won, but there are a lot of concerns. Uh, defense is still an issue and, um, I don't think it's getting fixed anytime soon. I, I kind of feel like Nuss Meyer did so much to have to win this game for them. Yeah, he had to play a lot of hero ball. Luckily, you can escape there and luckily the schedule for LSU is not like crazy, crazy hard. A absolute shit on this game. And I think a lot of people ate shit on this game. Georgia 13 can tucky 12. I mean, Kentucky did a good job of limiting the explosive plays. They only allowed two plays over 20 yards. And they were able to keep Georgia's offense out of rhythm. They kept the ball away from Georgia. They held the ball for 35 minutes and two seconds while Georgia only had the ball for 28, 24, 58. I mean, when you add all those up, that is the perfect recipe for an upset. Especially when you are losing on the talent differential by kind of substantial margin. Uh, my biggest gripe and we like stoops, solid coach. Kind of plues or move, punting from your own 48 on fourth and 13. Now, I do understand when it was fourth and eight and you were on the Georgia side, you did have a fall start penalty that pushed you back five yards. If you want to pull off this upset, you have to go for it there. Yeah, that was a pussy move. I mean, I get it a little bit that your defense has been playing well, but it can only play well so much until you knew Georgia was eventually going to bust through. You got to go for it there. Yeah, I'm watching this game. What do you think about that pick six? I think it was pick six. I think the one where the Georgia player catches it and then he hits the ground, the ball pops straight up and the Kentucky player catches it and returns it. Yeah. I believe it was called an interception on the field and then it got reversed. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know where the catch is. I don't think anybody does. Granted. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. It's just very weird. Carson back looked really, really off in this game. I've watched Georgia just about every game, except for when they're playing absolutely nobody. But once they get into SEC play, I do focus in on them a lot because obviously I think the Ohio State is going to play them down the road. So I try to see where the chinks in the armor are and this was probably one of the worst games that I've seen back half just everything seemed off. And the other worry that I do have for Georgia is some of those injuries are starting to pile up. I know Rutledge, one of the guards left the game, came back out in street clothes and a sling. I believe they had another injury on the offensive line. But yeah, it's. It's not good, but hopefully, I mean, nobody loves it loves coming away with this win more than Kirby Smart because now he just tear the fuck into his team. And there's a chance that now this lit the match underneath the Georgia death machine. Yeah, you got to buy a week and then you're headed to Tuscaloosa. Just another quick game I want to hit on talk about a little bit more because this does have a lot of implications possibly down the road. Texas 56, UTSA 7. I called this one, but either way, we're both on this one. Quinn Evers went down with, they're calling it an ab strain. Yeah, he, a lot of the sideline stuff like showed that he was pointing to his ribs and stuff like that. But Arch Manning looked as advertised 9 to 12, 223 yards for touchdowns and a 67 yard TD run. Possibly the wrong longest rushing touchdown of the whole manning band. Oh, yeah, I don't think that's a debate. I don't know. I think Arch could have like back in the day he was he was a runner. Yeah, he was a little more of an athlete, but maybe Cooper. I don't know. I'd love to know the stats before this and please like tell me it was. Yeah, because yeah, just frame one in high school or something. Either way, I mean, this kind of makes me upgrade Texas because the biggest thing that we always were worried about is Quinn can't stay healthy will Arch be up to the test. And I understand this is UTSA. He looked very, very good. I think that this Texas team won't miss a step if this is a prolonged injury. Is there a chance that Quinn, yours gets Wally Pipp? I don't think there's a chance to know. I would take something. We're talking about a manning here. I know, but like if it's. I am pissed because during this game. I was like, I have to throw a fire on Arch to win the Heisman. Yeah, just in the event. And by the time I looked, it was plus 2000. I'm like, yeah, it's like, I think I saw the best was like 25, which yours is 22. So honestly, now the best bet is to buy back in on yours. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it all depends on how this game goes or how the rest or how this injury goes. But yeah, I mean, I hope that it's not too long of an injury because I do like watching Quinn and yours out there. And I kind of hate the pressure that everybody puts on him because Arch is sitting in the wing. And I know there's people in their own fan base that we're probably thinking at times like, maybe we should start Arch. But I don't know. I think down the road, this, this could have some implications, especially like. If it's an ab injury, like we're talking about Quinn, like a lot of your quarterback is motion in your abs. And this is a prolonged thing. Like who knows? You're in such a weird spot, though, because you got you on Monroe. Granted, the Warhawks are undefeated. General booty. Arch is if you if you're Quinn, you don't want Quinn to pledge you on to get hurt. Exactly. But what's going to happen is you're going to play Arch. And anybody is going to be able to put up stats against this team. It's just going to happen. And now you're going to kind of prolong the debate. If I was like, Sark, I would probably if unless this is a legit possibility, which I just would think is ludicrous to think about. But just come out, like Quinn's our guy. Arch is going to play this week. We're just giving it another week to rest because what's going to happen is Arch. Arch is going to go out there and throw five touchdowns. And then there's going to be the fan base going to be talking. Is there a quarterback contrast? Like, dude, this guy just led you to like, he was one play away from making the national championship team. I know, but then as soon as he comes back, it takes one battle series. It's going to be he plays the Red River Shootout. He throws a pick on the first drive that's going to go nuts. I mean, well, we'll see what happens. I there's a part of me with Arch's running ability that I think it adds a little bit more to this Texas offense. So that's the only thing that I would add to it. I think if you want any chance, I know Georgia just looked bad. If you want any chance of beating Georgia, you're starting Quinn yours. I think you're right, but time will tell. All right. Now we'll just rip through the restless late starting off on Thursday. Boo, you and I kind of ate shit on this Arizona wins 31 28 over our Texas State Bobcats. Yeah, Texas State blew it. They were up 21 to seven. They get the lead or I think they got to end up getting down. No, it was they come. Arizona State fights back, ties it up, Texas State takes the lead. And then when it's 28 to 28 Texas Tech or Texas State fumbles on their own side of the 50 Arizona State kicks a field goal with basically no time left to come back. It's unfortunate. I'm upgrading Arizona State. I think I'm upgrading both teams. I yeah, I mean, I still love I still have the future on Texas State to make the playoff. Also a few some belt bets on them. And I should preface. I'm upgrading Arizona State to be like a middle of the road, big 12. I think I mean, it call me crazy because it's Reno, but this was a team that I didn't think was going to be able to scratch a bowl game. I think they can go bowling. Oh, yeah, for sure. 100% going to go. I mean, like that's easiest day after being three and oh, but I just want it. I thought they had a tough schedule, though, just so that yeah, they're at Texas Tech. They host Kansas, which host Utah at since the at Oklahoma State host UCF at Kansas State host BYU and Arizona. There's some tough games on there, but I definitely think they could go bowling. Yeah. Next one, absolute blowout South Alabama, 87 Northwestern State 10. Yeah, I had no eyes on it, but I just kept score checking it every single second. I kept going up. I'm trying to think I believe this was the highest scoring or most points that a team has put up in like almost 20 years or something like that. Because I remember it was 84 nothing last year to Oregon Portland State. So yeah, that's it. That's a giant number. It is. I don't, what was it at halftime? It was only 52. Oh, they were still trying in the third quarter. I scored 28 in the third. All right. Head into Friday, UNLV 23, Kansas 20. Is UNLV in the front or like the front runner to be that group of five team? I wouldn't say that because I don't know how good Kansas is. I will say they are the highest power rated G five school, but I don't know. I thought Kansas kind of shit down their leg a little bit in this one. They had the chances to win it. Yeah, definitely had the chance when the fumble at the end of the hour on UNLV's last drive where it hit like seven different Kansas players and you can't fucking recover it. I don't know what's going on with Kansas. Jalen Daniels is not Jalen Daniels can't read the defense. He's just staring down. You was the perfect quarterback for Colton Nikki's offense because he can make all the throws, but it's kind of got to be schemed open. Is he the next Penn State quarterback? No, I think he's out of eligibility. Dude, you can play forever. Actually, it depends if he was able to register just fresh from there. All right. Head into Saturday. Apparently Tulsa was not live Oklahoma State 45 Tulsa 10. This was like 35 to nothing in a snap of a finger. Yeah, yeah, it was like, I want to say good bounce back spot for Oklahoma State, especially after you had to pull that Arkansas game out of your ass. Well, don't they play Utah this weekend? So it was a good spot in between those games where you took care of business. You could have easily slept walk through this. Michigan 28 Arkansas State 18 28 to three. Arkansas State's got a third down. Michigan stops him. I'm hoping they can probably just run the game out. Michigan Arkansas State converts walks down the field scores and then they score again. At that point, I mean, I know there was only like 10 seconds left when they scored the last one. I'm like, fucking odds. I can't get run this shit off. But yeah, Davis Warren 14 passes. No ball hit the ground. Nope, 11 in completions. Three intercepts. The dude sucks. And that is why it was announced today that Alex or G will be starting. Yeah. Well, so they put him in for a little bit and they just kept running this. Hand off or. Yeah. Alex or G run up the middle. It's like, dude, you have to at least throw it a little bit. So they have they have to respect it. Otherwise, all the otherwise everybody's just going to stack the box. And it's just going to be daring you to throw. Like, yeah, they're going to those boxes are going to be so heavy because they know that all you're going to do is run. I'm prepared to watch a basically an army Navy offense from Michigan. Like just run the triple option. Run the wing tee. Yeah, you got to do some different. Which like fits the M.O. of what Michigan wants to be. But I mean, you got to do something or there's chances that this season could go a lot further south. Yeah. Over three betting on Michigan. Go bucks at a boy. We put in the asterisk next to that championship yet. No, damn. I want to see how far on board I could get you. Illinois 30 central Michigan nine. Oh, I almost pulled the trigger on Illinois and then got the hook. That sucks. I was right. I love it when I'm right. Memphis 20 Florida State 12. Cash that under on Florida State win total. I did not mention that we hit on the money line. Oh, yeah, we hail on the money. But they already hit the under. I've won three different ways to this game. Yeah, when I was projecting Florida State out this season, I'd never thought week three I'd be cashing that win total. I thought that this team would be like nine and three. No, I mean, they're so good. Are they going to technically? Definitely. They even going to go bowling. I looked at the schedule. I still it's hard for me to think. Like when I'm trying to say, can they beat this team? Then you're the back of your mind. You're like, there's there for the state. But no, they're all in three hosting cow. That's only a two point spread. Yeah, no, I get that SMU. I mean, we'll see how Jennings does. But that's at SMU hosting Clemson. Good fucking luck. Duke, you're probably getting that. You should be able to win that one. At Miami, fuck. Probably not. North Carolina, you could get that at Notre Dame. I'm not saying that's a loss yet, because I don't know what the fuck Notre Dame is. We'll get to them in a little bit. Hosting Charleston, Southern, you should. You better. Then you're hosting Florida. That might literally be a. I don't think Florida's going to have five ones. Could potentially set up for a winner to get to a bowl game bowl. And that would just be. It's crazy that Miami and UCF. Yeah, let's add some fire to this rivalry. Granted, I, as somebody. Dude, you know they should do it. Sorry to interrupt you, but. Well, you got a fire name here, but loser gets fired. I don't think I don't want to say Norville is even remotely on. No, he's not. And I think more than anything, he's he. He's going to make a lot of staff changes. That and he's going to have to. Kind of like we talked about. I think I got him. You got to kind of cut all losses. Dive into high school recruiting. Load this class up because the problem is it like. You brought him. Glenn. Why isn't he starting? Like, is he not ready? Or like, what are you doing? You need to start building this team up. In the in high school recruiting, because like this year, you've had two great transfer classes back to back. You can't ride that forever. There's going to be one year like this year that it's going to come crashing down. Like we always say, that is to fill your holes. From your high school misses. That's how every top program has basically built their team outside of Clemson, of course, but. Yeah, and we see what's going on there. Um, NC State 30, Louisiana Tech 20. Yikes. Yeah, NC State sucks. I hate saying that. I don't, I am interested to see how the freshman Brady does. Um, well, more comfortable in the passing game when he was in. Granny did throw a pick. I, McCall was just taking some fucking hard shots in this game, but you do see a little bit of a boost when Brady was in there. So we'll see how, uh, next week. Well, the other thing is they can't play any defense either. No, that's a big one. Yeah, that's an issue. I got this Clemson line at 10. It is 20 and a half. Yep. Scared for my life. Um, my, or since in Addie 27, Miami, Ohio 16th, this was a good game. It was on the quad and I had my eyes on a lot. This was for a little bit, like back and forth. And then since he kind of just laid it on at the end, since he also had a touchdown that was six inches away. Uh, uh, source be dope and he lost it. Like six inches worth of pile on it goes out of bounds. It's Miami's ball. My, I just don't think Miami can compete in the Mac, but they're definitely not the team that I thought could knock off some of these G four school or these P four schools or anything like that. Just yeah, 0 and 2 star and now you're at, or at Notre Dame. Yeah. Tell you what, last time a Mac school was 28 point dogs at Notre Dame. Something happened. I mean, it would be, it would be hilarious if Notre Dame went 0 and 2 against the Mac. That would be, I mean, maybe, maybe they're not ready for like the big 10 or the ACC. Maybe they need to go into the Mac. Who knows? Potentially, we'll get to another Mac team later on that a day. Texas tech 66 North Texas 21. I wish I would given this out on the podcast. I was on the over in this game. I was just worried it was at 69 when we were doing the podcast and I just thought that was too much to be given out to anybody over these airways, but I bet it and I loved every bit of it. Unfortunately, uh, North Texas wasn't live. I still think there's a scenario if certain things happen early in that game. This game's a lot closer, but there, I, I believe they were down 10 or they were, there was a point where they were down 10 to 17 or no, it was they were down. 14 to 10 or no. Yeah, something like that. Either way, there was a chance for it. And then there was like three picks for Chandler Morris that literally all of them went off of his wide receivers hands and ended up in Texas. So if you're Texas tech, you need to do this bounce back spot, because you have not looked good to start the season. But have you looked at spreads for next week? Uh, I, I saw who are. Eric Arizona say Texas tech. Oh, they're going to be a money line play. Oh, I was talking about the total 60. Oh, Jesus. I, that's a big number. And Arizona state can move the ball. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, next one, Buffalo 34, UMass three. Sorry, buff. Or sorry, UMass. I had, I had a little bit, I almost bet UMass. Almost did. Thank God I did not. Um, coastal 28 temple 20, uh, unfortunately, I think the temple fade train is over. Yeah, coastal just kind of played around a little bit. They were having that. They early temple made a quarterback change to Evan Simon, who was at Rutgers for all those years. So yeah, unfortunate, maybe temple is a lot more fresh gear. Who knows, uh, Cody, a absolute shit in this game against me. Oregon 49 Oregon state 14. I told you, get right spot. You hit that. It was, it was too much of a square play like it. Really? Because the public was on Oregon. Really? That's surprising. I thought, I thought everybody and their mom would be on Oregon state, especially how Oregon looked. Uh, but yeah, great game for the ducks. Dylan Gabriel had, it felt like 45 seconds to throw the ball. Yeah. Yeah. The offensive line balled out now. I will say, I don't really know how good Oregon state is, because they haven't really played anybody. I agreed. And the one thing I will say is great. It was that Oregon was able to, you know, kind of figure out the offense. If you let Oregon state run on you like that, like Ohio state with those two backs are going to run for 300 yards. You got to get that figured out before that game. There were a lot of OSU fans that were like tweeting out, like licking their lips, like Quenchon and Trevion against this Oregon defense. And there was a lot of, there was a lot of like, Oregon state would, like the contact would be two yards, but behind the first down and then every single time Oregon state was getting it. It's like a little bit of softness. You got to tighten that up in the run game. Uh, dude, I'm telling you, we should have covered this game. Oklahoma 34, Tulane 19. Yeah, I mean, I only bet the money line. So that was an apartment. Oh, yeah, you did the walk to Tulane one. But I thought it was live for a minute. Well, actually, I thought it was dead for a long time. Tulane just gave Oklahoma everything. They should have come away with a cover here. I don't really know if this Oklahoma team is any bit good. I really, I don't really know. I don't think Arnold's very good. I mean, he's still young. So that's like the big thing. But the offensive line does not look good whatsoever. And the defense, like it's a brand-ventable lead defense. We think that it should be a lot better than what it really is. Same time though, I do like men said, I do like two lanes often. Yes, yes. But still, I think, I think Tulane is going to be in the American championship game. Yeah, they'll be right up there. I think the schedule kind of breaks. It doesn't break their way as much, if I recall, but either way, I don't. I'm not saying Jack is almost terrible. I'm saying like, I don't think he's the guy that's going to like, this was like a sleeper team to make the playoff. I don't think that's to that level yet. RIP, any person that thought this team was live. Notre Dame 66 produced seven. That line dropped from 10 to seven half before kick. And never had a shot. Oh my God, that was what I did. I did not have on TV. And I just looked down at the score. I was like 42 to nothing and half time, like what? I think if you're Notre Dame, though, you kind of had to run it up. After what happened last week. Yeah, I mean, they even threw in the backup for a while. Riley still wasn't there in a touchdown. I mean, I know we got hurt last year, but he still played like more than half the year. He's gotten three in the last two years. And he's electrical in the ground. It's insane. He's three games into his Notre Dame career. Still has yet to throw for a touchdown. He's ran for several. I mean, he threw three all of last year at Duke. No, I know. Yeah, we'll see. I think Purdue, maybe the worst team. Well, it doesn't matter if they are the worst team in the big 10, because they play every fucking really good team in the big 10. Yeah, no shit. Next one, Texas A&M 33 Florida 20. Did Texas A&M find their quarterback? Because Marcel Reed looked very good. Yeah, he looked comfortable. And I didn't like that confident. Yeah. And the added juice in the rush, the run game 13 carries 83 yards. Like he was 11 for 17, 178 yards, two touchdowns. I will say, I think Wegman may be more talented. I think Marcel Reed fits climb or Colin Klein's system. Think about the system that he was running at Kansas State, whether it was Will or Avery. He loves using the quarterback's legs, obviously, because he loved it. He likes somebody that plays like him. Yeah. Granted, let's not compare Marcel Reed's running style to Colin Klein, because he will Marcel Reed's outrunning him by 20 yards, but I mean, I just had a higher hopes for Wegman this year. He I mean, he might not just he just might flat on not be the better quarterback either. Like he like every time he drops back, I have no confidence that it's not going to be picked off. Yeah, I think I think the switch needs to be made. I think it will. And I actually kind of upgrade Texan and a little bit too, if I do. Michigan State 40 Prairie View zero. Didn't watch it, but didn't cover. Minnesota 27 Nevada zero. Did you end up betting Nevada? I don't remember if I gave it out, but I did. I thought you mentioned something. Yeah, I maybe it was a sprinkle or something. I might add I'm betting it. I know I know I bet it. I don't know if I gave it out, but yeah, I should hear. Georgia Tech 59 VMI seven. This was on the quad screen just to fill some spots and yeah, Georgia Tech looked good. Ohio 21 Morgan State six. Good fight from the Bears though, I think I was decent. Want to talk about a fight Iowa 38 Troy 21 do not let that score fool you. Troy was in this game and leading in the first half went to halftime leading. These next two are going to piss me off both of these. Connor is always right at state 21 Eastern Carolina 19. Cash plus two and a half. I'd catch the minus one and a half. Jake Garcia is fucking so bad at football. Like his picks that he threw in the game. I mean, it looked like that was the receiver that we started to and it's funny though that Agalar had more picks than Garcia. Oh, I know, but still it just infuriating because I actually think he's like, you see his defense is nasty. Yeah, they were nasty until three minutes left in the game. They get up there. Had a potential pick six guy jumps throughout his Rob is fucking helmet and then shoots up in the air. Nap State receiver dives and catches it for a first down and they run three more minutes off the clock granted. If you would have caught it and ran it back, that would have helped. But Jay Garcia throws a pick on the last drive anyway, so it doesn't matter. Yeah, I have to say you needed one that one. That was especially after last week. I thought that was a that. The crowd wasn't nearly as crazy as I thought it was though. East Carolina got big game this week. Yeah, thanks for this bet, buddy. Arkansas 37 UAB 27. What people I had I had this game on and your coastal cost me a parlay. Oh, we'll get we'll get to somebody who cost a parlay in a little bit because I had all the confidence in a world of a team and yeah, Cody just loves ruining my life. It took a little bit for the Arkansas offense to get started, but this was a 10 to nothing game. Oh, they were down 17 to three after that. I was just like fucking beat him. Yeah, fire pitman right now. Yeah, I I'm done petting any game that UAB is involved with because I feel like this happened to me next year's. I've fade them and they come out and they'll wear and end up winning games. And then the games I want to fade them, they get there. We should do that. I'm going to start a list here that do not bat teams. Yeah. UAB is top of the list right now. Yes. Next game, Utah 38 Utah State 21. Obviously Utah without cam rising. Isaac Wilson kind of showed some flashes 20 for 33, 239 yards, three touchdowns, one pick. Did help them. Micah Bernard ran for 123 yards in this game, but I will not be betting Utah at any point until I know if Cam is playing or not. Yeah, for sure. That game was a lot closer than most people. Yeah, that score does not indicate how close that game was. Talk about a score that indicates how bad that game was. Miami 62 Ball State 0. Yeah, that's a fast weapon. Yeah. Completely missed this. Holy crap, Duke 26, Yukon 21. Yeah, Duke is up 17.0 in this game too. And Yukon fights back, takes the lead, entering the fourth quarter, 12 and 17. That Duke kind of close them out at the end. Yeah, I got a little shaky. Got really, really shaky. All right. Next one, North Carolina 45 and see central 10. Good one. Next one. Apparently they weren't live Virginia Tech 37 Old Dominion 17. No, I fucked up. I didn't realize Grant Wilson wasn't playing the starter for Old Dominion. I didn't see it. I mean, I strictly bet the money line because Virginia Tech's never won at Old Dominion. So yeah, I had the job. I had the 15 and a half and it actually kind of was alive for a long time. VT jumped out early and it was up 14. Nothing. The first I was like, okay, this is over. And then they kind of just blew. I mean, they scored three. They scored 17 points in the fourth quarter. Like kind of sucks when you're having a 15 and a half ticket. Liberty 28, Utep 10. Liberty's not that good. Utep's terrible. Yeah. I think there's two or three potential losses. They aren't going to lose, but there's two or three teams that can beat them in Qusa. Well, they also got a game this week. That's another big one. Uh, next one. Georgia Southern 42 South Carolina State 14. Good win. That's all I got. Uh, Akron 31. Uh, Colgate 20. Uh, did you have any like score checks on this? Colgate was up 17 nothing. I never even knew this game was going on. And I was like, I can't bet. I can't back Akron. I can't do it. So I laid off and of course I come back and win. This though somehow was catching my attention. Charlotte 27, Gardener web 26. I'm pretty sure Gardener web went for two for the win. Did not get it. Yep, they did. Yeah. Well, it was with a minute 55. But I mean, that's the move. You're the FCS playing an FBS. I didn't have any action on this game, but I was also odd enough. I kept pulling this up on my phone and watching a little bit of it. Uh, one on this one, old mess 40. Wake forest six. I was in need more or easiest place. Yeah. Like I said, wake forest after this game. Try to get out of the game for next year. Makes sense. Uh, Western Michigan 59. Bethune Cookman 31. Um, it's a fucking giant score for a Mac and, um, me hex school. Let me tell you how bad of a friend Cody Mitchell is. Georgia state 36 Vandy 32. I had a $250 parlay that caches all I need is Vanderbilt money line. For a second there, we, we had it. I mean, I, and what pisses me off even more was I was so close to betting after they scored Georgia Southern or Georgia state to win. But obviously because this was on ESPN plus it's even more of a delay. So as soon as I hit a place bet, it was like I had the bet in their five to win a hundred. Goes on. Yeah, it said and could not be taken at this point then. Yeah. Vandy just lets Georgia state come down. Well, it's also previous like Georgia state was up 12 with. Yeah, three minutes left. Yeah, there were what they, they have, uh, they scored two touchdowns and a two point conversion in that fourth quarter. Uh, and then 15 seconds left Georgia state just beautiful dot to the front end zone. And yeah, unfortunate. And what hurts even more was and probably why I shouldn't have even bet it because if Vandy wins this game, I cash the over on the wind total. Yeah, that was another one too. I thought we had it there. Diego played well. But he's kind of like the sum of everything around that around him. Uh, the running back. Uh, God damn his name is escaping me. Alexander. Yeah, Cedric Alexander. He just normally he's a lot better back and he just could not get it started. More than anything is like you don't let up 36 points to Georgia state. No Georgia state's really, really, I think we're one of the 10 worst FBS schools. And Vandy, just when I thought you were starting to turn shit around, you dragged me right back down. Uh, completely missed that this game happened. Eastern Michigan 37 Jacksonville state 34 in double overtime. Again, Cody is a terrible friend for making me bet the Jacksonville. Yeah, that's tough, but I actually ended up playing Eastern Michigan here. So that was a good one, but I actually lose on the very next game we're going to do. Uh, San Jose state 31, Kennesaw state 10. You bet kind of. Yeah, I bet that this was, didn't give you either of those two out, but I ended up backing. Good thing you didn't get me that better. I'd hate you even more. Kennesaw. And then fucking San Jose state scores with three minutes left to put themselves over the number and cover this spread. What are we doing that to a new FBS school? That's my stuff, but I will say Spartan's three now. I know. And, uh, Nick Nash, the wide receiver, 17 catches 225 yards, three touchdowns into this game. Dude is just absolutely phenomenal. Good, good thing that San Jose state was able to keep him with everything that they lost. You can tell your team that could use him, use him, uh, their, their former coach. Oh, yeah. Um, Western Kentucky 49 middle Tennessee state 21. Uh, unfortunately TJ Finley, uh, out for the next couple of games, I believe. Uh, ended up getting hurt in this game, but good win by Western Kentucky. He is definitely out. I saw something about it. Because I already grabbed Toledo. Like I grabbed Toledo on Sunday. I believe the number it's probably is because the number did jump past one. Toledo was opened as like a two point dog, one and a half point dog. And I think now they're two point favorites or something like that. To pull up cause I know somebody ended up, uh, it's probably. Yeah, T. Yeah. Unabated, uh, college football tweeted it out. Western Kentucky quarterback TJ Finley to miss several weeks. Oh, yeah. That I love that play even more. Um, Sam Houston 31 Hawaii 13. Sam Houston's not bad. Yeah. All they would have lost these games last year. They find why is the win on this year? Um, next one, my Bulls of South Florida 49 Southern Miss 24. Uh, they were down. I was a little bit scared for my team, but they were down 14 nothing early in this game. And then just roared back. Big game for them this week. Uh, next one. Oh, one on this one and somebody didn't want to come with me. Did you? Yes, I got the closing number at 32 and a half. Okay. The closing number did not Nebraska 34 Northern Iowa three. We covered, um, it was a scary, scary cover. I will admit, I thought in Nebraska had so many opportunities. Just just fuck me. Granted, I love Nebraska, but yeah, I was prepared to hurt in this. So, uh, Northern Iowa goes from Nebraska to Hawaii. I know, yeah, fucking crazy ass schedule for them. Uh, Auburn 45 New Mexico 19. They did end up making a move from, uh, Thorne to Hank Brown. They decent 17 for 25 to 35 for touchdowns, albeit New Mexico's defense might not be too good. Uh, next one, just ass kicking. Toledo 41 Mississippi state 17. This game was in Starkville. Yeah. So do you know that? If you bring up the stat that you know has two wins over an SEC school. I'm about to throw this drill at you. Granted, I think it's Mississippi state. I don't remember the other one Mississippi state and they beat, uh, uh, uh, Arkansas. Yeah. So it's like playing Georgia, right? Yeah, yeah, I'm like losing to Georgia by one point. It's insane. The Mac has two. And also we're really going to count the bowl game lost him a zoo. I'm just I'm just reading with a stat with a third, third string quarterback. I'm just going to read what the stats are. Yeah, I know. I'm just saying that staff lie around and I'm like, all right, this needs a lot more, uh, context. Yes. Because the other one, the other loss. Yeah, that was a terrible loss. Cause we got a shit kicked in by one of the best offenses in college. Okay. Everybody knows it's a joke. That's. I know. I know. I hate it. But you guys are just too sensitive to the lives they've been. Oh, shut your mouth. You literally said go bucks like five minutes ago. Next one. I mean, my squad, my team, Indiana, 42, 13. I didn't have to sweat this for a fucking. I had this as well. This was a complete ass whooping as much as I like Indiana too. And I'm glad you talked me on with their win total. UCLA is really bad. No, they're terrible. But don't take away from Indiana, like putting it on them. Like they can have it really played a good defense, but they've gotten everything they wanted offensively. I believe you won on this one, uh, Baylor 31 Air Force three. Yeah, I did not look good for a long time. It was six to three and a half. Then they, uh, put 20, you, I'm glad I won my bet, but don't be put running the score up on the troops in the second half. Brandon, uh, this was also without, uh, Daquan. Yeah. Uh, next one, uh, I want to say that I should count this as a win against you. Cause I think you were, I want to say you were on the other side. Colorado 28 Colorado state nine. No, I had call us a money line and like, uh, yeah, kind of the reverse. The reverse parlay that I had that we both need a Vandy money line. It was like a point two five to win a bunch of units. Like, Hey, let's dream a little bit. Yeah. Um, I mean, Colorado looks solid. I still don't think Colorado states any good. Um, next one, you. Probably you really are a lucky lucky man. UCF 35 TCU 34. What was this score at one point? 28 to seven. And then UCF's offense kind of came alive. It was, it wasn't they weren't moving the ball. They were getting stopped on third down and just getting extra points blocked or field goals blocked. They had three blocked kicks. Maybe not blocked or missed field goals. And then they finally were able to figure something out defensively to stop Hoover and TCU. I think UCF's really is actually, I have them in the big 10 12 title game for the season started. I think there's a legitimate chance. I believe I put a flyer on them to, um, make it to the big 12 championship or win it. I can't remember like, dude, those three running like I'm counting. KJ Jeffersons running back, but like those three backs they have there. Good. And if they can just, hey, KJ, run the ball. If you're getting trouble, don't put the ball in harm's way and just go out there. Kind of what you did in the, the one really, really good season had your Arkansas. So I, that was a big one. I probably, I'm all mad about the Michigan one and the other. I can't remember the other game, but like this one, it's kind of good. God give it's got to take it away. You wouldn't let me lose some next one. Northwestern 31 Eastern Illinois seven, uh, FAU 38, FIU 20, uh, I will. Did you do the FAU game? Yeah. Um, yeah. So I thought. FIU one, to be honest with you, I counted as a cash on the money line. I must have not have noticed it because they were up for some reason I had. Where did I think they were never winning this game? Yeah, I don't know where I thought they won this game. They did not. No, no. So that was a sprinkle that did not hit. No, what the, I mean, I must had a dream that Mike McIntyre pointed out, but no, they did not. Uh, I wanted to give them out. I still thought it was too big of a number. Tennessee 71, Kent State zero, cashed on the minus 49. Yeah, there was a live spread about 85 and a half at one point. Uh, yeah, they were up 30 and went for an onsite kick. I never had to worry about it. I feel like if it gets that high, you're better off just butt taken. You definitely should take the points because they're eventually going to call the dogs off. Unless you're Kirk's in Indiana. Yes. Uh, kind of ate shit on thinking this team was live. Maryland 27, Virginia 13, uh, good bounce back spot for Maryland after losing to Michigan State at home. Uh, I mean, this is going to be the give and take with Calandria. But oh well, Houston 33 Rice seven had no eyes on this after I will admit, none of these games, I hadn't really any eyes on after van, after Vandy died. Like I wanted to die. Um, BYU 34 Wyoming 14 cash on this one. I end up playing this one. I wanted, I kind of wanted to bet BYU because that was only like 10. Wasn't it? Uh, 10 and a half nine and a half something like that. Just Wyoming. I honestly thought it should have been closer to touchdowns, but I didn't. I never know with BYU. Uh, Cal 31 San Diego State 10. And lastly, Fresno State 48, New Mexico State zero. Yeah, I'm admitting this one. I end up betting New Mexico State thought they had a shot to keep it close. Absolutely not. No, um, so I put this thing together really quick before you run down the game. So just some, just some shit that'll surprise you a little bit with like power innings wise. If you give three points to the home edge, these are the teams that are favored in every game remaining. That is Clemson, Miami, UCF, Kansas State, Ohio State, Texas, Ole Miss, Alabama, Memphis, UNLV, Texas State. Then they have Northern Illinois in there. I think that's because they got bumped because of Notre Dame. Yeah. But listen to some of these teams that are favored in every, anticipated line favored in every game but one. Washington State. Let's go. Boise State, Liberty, Sam Houston State, USC, Indiana Hoosiers. Let's go. Missouri, Boston College, and Toledo. Jesus Christ. That's a hell of a list. Now there are some teams on there that I guarantee lose five games. Yeah. From that last list. But just something to kind of think about that. I think not just because of the playoffs. I think that just the new era, I think talent has kind of spread out a little bit in some. I think it's cool to see teams like Boston College be decent. Not a lot of people want to see the powers, but I don't know. I think this is shaping up to be one of the most fun college seasons ever. Yeah. Looking ahead to next week, we have like a lot of games that are on my radar that I think can be very solid games. On Friday night, the Battle of the Unbeaten's in the Big Ten, Illinois at Nebraska, and then starting on Saturday, NC State at Clemson. James Madison at UNC. They got a little magic maybe? Who knows? Kansas at West Virginia. I know that's a battle of one and two teams. That should still be a good game. Virginia at Coastal USC at Michigan. Georgia Tech at Louisville, Rutgers at Virginia Tech, Arizona State at Texas Tech. Battle of the Big 12 Giants, Utah at Oklahoma State, TCU at SMU, East Carolina at Liberty, Miami Florida at USF, Cal at Florida State, Tennessee at Oklahoma, Bowling Green at Texas A&M. Iowa at Minnesota, Michigan State at Boston College. Baylor at Colorado, and ending it off with Kansas State at BYU. They did that perfectly. Give me an actual awesome game at 10.30 at night. Not. Probably be asleep. Okay. Well, I'll honestly stay up for this game, but. Yeah. Do you have anything for Thursday? I don't. It's South Alabama at App State. If anything, I'm just going to lean App State. I don't have. I think that's only like a two point spread number. Seven and a half. Oh, it's seven and a half. I don't think South Alabama is very good. It's my thing. Yeah. But yeah, if anything, that's what I'm doing, but I'm not. No, no real conviction with that. All right. That's basically the rest. That's the whole slate for week three. So we'll be back on Thursday to basically give out all our picks for week four. All right. We're out. Peace.
