Donald Trump was unharmed after an apparent assassination attempt in Florida on Sunday. A secret service agent fired shots at a man with an AK-47 type rifle fitted with a scope before he could shoot at the presidential candidate. The suspect had hidden in bushes at the edge of Mr. Trump's golf club in West Palm Beach. He fled, but was arrested soon afterwards. He was widely named as Ryan Ruth, who has campaigned to send foreign fighters to Ukraine to fight Russia. Dave Ehrenberg stayed attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, gave an update at a press conference. I'm here because our prosecutors are currently working up warrants and a motion for pretrial detention for the suspect. In that way, he will be kept in custody, but are filing. The incident comes two months after a gunman shot an injured Mr. Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have condemned Sunday's incident.
