And then so then the ump looks at me and goes, Oh, did you want to flip like for a way? And I go, no, I'll take home because that's like proper, um, and that, but then they did score like four runs in the first inning. We, you know, it worked. Whatever they did. Well, I mean, he tricked you. We gave him three heirs. Like who cares? You know, it's, it wasn't the home or away part that really cost us. It was the part where it doesn't go in your glove. It's only fall baseball. Who needs to try harder? I mean, our guys always try, but like we had third here. We batted third. Three. That's ridiculous. Thirteen players. My other coaches were kind of cool with it. They were like, I thought, I thought it was, you know, I thought I was being a little aggressive being like, Hey, should we go 11 and two? Maybe just have two bench. What I really didn't realize was going to be the hardest part was not batting 13. It was every inning trying to find four guys to sit. Or guys to sit or guys to play. Yeah. Not everyone got to hit three times. That's for sure. Yeah. How do you get through three times? I'd be 39 at bats and that's wild. Our game user on one today. Yeah. So I don't. We gave that a try and I appreciate the effort that we all thought and the theory we had behind it, but I'm not doing a thirteen man batting lineup ever again, you know that many players for the fall. Well, we have thirteen because we accept athletes. We want kids that play multiple sports and we know there's going to be some, you know, like our guy Aragon's a stud and he's the one that throws hard, but he tries to thin throw soft. No, that's Dylan. Dylan's sweet. Aragon's just our best out. He's playing shortstop that game you were at and he fielded the first two grounders to the guys out. It's super smooth, but one of the best soccer players in the state. So if he's got soccer, he gets to go do soccer and then we don't have them. Then we're down to 12 and if Teddy's doing lacrosse because Teddy's dude, our big hitter, but he's got them sweet hands lacrosse hands and he's got to do lacrosse. Now we're down to 11, right? So I stacked our squad with athletes knowing that they've got other sports to play. Most of these squads, you know, these, whatever names you guys are talking about, they don't want you playing other sports. They want you just playing baseball, baseball and baseball. Yeah, there's a lot of that. We're not in on that. We're out on that. And the coaches don't make an extra fifteen hundred per family. I guess like they're doing your highlands ranch. Well, let's go out to the hotline for the rich people live. But our guy, a mayhem icons, Bronco one a Bronco one, so what's it the environment or is it that they got tired of getting beat up nature or nurture? I think it was the game plan was great. We say this all the time on the show, Jeff says the water finds its level. And I just say the NFL is kind of a law of averages, not college football where there's such a huge discrepancy. It's weird. A lot of times the second or third best team in the NFL isn't too far off from the second or third worst team in the NFL. And there's a pride thing. And the biggest thing was the sense of urgency, your turn at two and all you're eating good. You're reading the headlines. That's what Tampa Bay had going for your the Broncos. You're eating poop for two weeks and everyone's telling you guys were the worst. That motivates you and fuels you. And they went out there and they delivered was great stuff all around. First enough at a bone next to make it look good. Defense spectacular Mike Evans, future Hall of Famer, two catches for 17 yards on the day. This baby guy looks really good. He's looking like he's getting it done here and might be a little surprise when we thought it was going to be Carlos Estes de Vaz. What's the name? John Javante Williams, Estes Mavs, Estes Vadric, I'll check my estimate. He's better. I happen to him. And then, yeah, then some I say P. Ryan's the number two running back in Kansas City now. So I'm wondering what's going on there. Oh, and the Raiders just got smashed by Carolina and all I mean that's just. Same thing. How about that? How about the redheads right now? Sam Darnold, Andy Dalton, just kind of lighting up the league, just a couple of redheads, red-haired goat. Oh, yeah. Hey, do you think that baby Brian that quarterback will learn from San, I mean, from Andy now, you know what I mean? That's kind of like what they wanted. They should have done that in the first place. Yeah, I agree. I'm not disagreeing. But I'm just saying though, now that they're like, oh, let's just let him learn and let him learn. Well, you, yeah, you should. I would trade for Bryce Young. I would trade for Bryce Young. Who you Denver? Yes. I would give a, I'd consider giving a second round pickup for Brian. No, I wouldn't trade. Well, right. I never heard of that as a, like, that's a coach at Wisconsin. I would trade. Oh, next, sorry. I would trade. We can't trade coaches from college for players, Jeff. It's like, bylaws. Fine. I would trade Calvin Samson, I would trade a third round pick for Bryce Young. They're going to want a second rounder and okay, well, I'll give you a third rounder and pick. You can move a guy. What, you keep your last quarterback? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's a quarterback, bro. He's good. He's just in a bad place and in the, in the bad frame of mind, one foot two, dude. No, he's six foot. He's bigger than not six foot. He's six. He's just slender. He's slender. He's bigger than the guy from Arizona. Oh, yes, he is. That's the littlest guy. I think maybe an inch taller. That's like a little. But we, he's just a wee bit of a guy. Bryce is five. They're five. They're, they're. Me and I would not want that. So I'm just saying there's no way I want a five, ten quarterback, no way. I want zero, five, ten quarterbacks. Yeah. How big is Ross? Russ Wilson. Six foot. One. What's the difference in, be serious? No one sounds like these dudes. They got a beastie boys vibe with the huba thing. No. No, I just heard bands that sound like this. This gloss Elphis, I don't know, I don't think so. Back on the other side. On the other side, my sports. The Smile High Morning Show, weekdays at 10. The significant to the win for the Broncos is huge. It's completely something to build off of. And I have this kind of like, I don't know what will come up with the name for it. Ooh. They had one, two winnable games that we looked at as the schedule as winnable. Okay? Those teams are both undefeated. No doubt about it. And actually now, when I look at that different. I think the Seahawks were not a winnable game. So the Seahawks goes as a natural L. Especially Steven Pacific Northwest. Yes. So you take the loss, okay? And it's hard to judge you after it as a team and as a whole, okay? Because of all things considered, we were in a lot of weird ways in that game. The first half looked like, hey, we're doing this thing. And it just never happened. The second game against the Steelers, one of the proudest, richest and thickest in tradition franchises in all of American sports history, there's no easy games against the Steelers. There's never been. So that was a half and half flipper coin flip you flip that coin that could have came out either way. And it kind of did. And Mike Tomlin, there's an X factor there of Mike Tomlin being incredible historically against rookie quarterbacks. He just knows how to do it. So that's a winnable game that you took an Allen. The Tampa Bay game was a game what was, should have been a loss. It looked like a loss. All things were headed the way you were trending as your, as a whole, the, the direction of just the early stumbles of the season, they had got nothing really figured out. Looked like the Broncos were going to take that L because Tampa Bay was kind of cooking. But what happened during the week, Vida Vaya out, right? Yeah. The nose was out. Who's the corner? Who was out? Antoine Winfield. He's a safe. He's a go for two best players. And I was just going to say he's maybe their best player on defense. Yes. Okay. So that kind of changed things in the outcome, the complexion a little bit for what the Broncos were going to try to do. And it worked. Baker barely went for 150 yards in the game. Okay. So in, in my mind, it's like a plus one in a game you shouldn't have won. So it definitely makes up for the Steelers game. And now we're looking through the, at the three games as a whole, they're probably just that one and two good, but that one and two good is not a bad thing. Because the one and two came against undefeated undefeated Seahawks, undefeated Steelers and undefeated Tampa Bay team until you beat them. That's, that's, that's, that's six and it's eight. No, I don't know why that's so hard and one that's eight. No, now eight and one. Okay. So the Broncos were the three teams that they played were eight and oh combined before Denver went in there and did their thing. That has to be taken into consideration with the body of work there. So now you're one and two and you just got to cook. Now we cook. Now you open it up. Now you play the guys, the confidence in the room. I mean, imagine the feeling in the room after that when the young guys like the buy in it's like getting a quick E and feeling very satisfied, it's just, it's all that man. It's all that. I just, you know, it's, it's, it's part. It's part is, it's life. Well, you're a good boss. You make a big sale. Right. You're feeling like, damn, I could do the feeling there. You said it right there. It's intrinsic. It's like something on the inside. You can't measure. Here's something on the outside. You can measure. If you go only three, you have a 2.5% chance of making the playoffs. We don't have to talk about that anymore. And one or two is what? Thank God. I'm looking for it. I'm not finding it. Find it. Find it. You're not good at that. I looked, you went on some, I'm surprised you didn't sneak in a story about Gianna there, but I had a chance. I can't find it. Great. Like football player, Gianna Williams. I'll keep looking. Owen three, though, I can tell you for a fact 2.5% chance of making the playoffs in the NFL. Thank God those talks are over. We don't have to do that. It's just data. Listen. That's not like. 23, 7. Alex. Maybe more 26. Yeah. 26, 7. Oh shoot. 26 to 7. Okay. That's a big number 26. That's a big number. More than the last two weeks. Time number. Yeah. And I just. Right from the jump. And you know what? Throw in the ball. Check this out. Tampa Bay. They go on to win 10 plus. They're a double digit winner and they'll be, you know, maybe when a playoff game, we'll see how the chips fall for them. But again, you know, you can only play who's on the schedule. Let's turn that in to see you a little bit here. So it are, you know, kind of Nebraska, we're going to go look at at the time we're going in thinking, you know, I was playing that the guys played two games. He's a freshman card. Well, turns out this is no ordinary freshman. He's probably the best freshman in the country at quarterback. No doubt about it. Right. Right. Oh yeah. Okay. So you got the best. And now the complexion of yeah, you go on there against Cindy. So South Dakota's, they, Dakota's state and we know they win games, coach prime after that game was showing them film how all 12 or 11 guys on defense were all like swarming to the ball. Just stuff like this is post. This is how they do it. And they showed. I saw that. Their program put out there. A video of prime. Go ahead, Alex. Well, he said that's why these guys have won so many ships and because how disciplined they are. Isn't that cool? No, for everybody, coach prime saying that to his guys for the North Dakota state guys seeing that as a sign of respect and like, man, that's right. That's how we win games. That's how we almost won this game. That's all that stuff, man. The coaching before games, the buffs have played have been against three pretty solid opponents and then an in state Rocky Mountain showdown and in their backyard. I mean, this isn't like Kena saw state and then we're going to play Elon and then we got a home game against a college you've heard of. They are going to last two. Yeah. Can't say. And then we open up our conference. And I mean, hey, welcome back to the big 12. We got coastal Carolina after. Hey, I really liked that Utah Oklahoma state game. It just made me feel good about what the big 12 represents. I was watching West Virginia earlier in the day and I was like, damn, you know what? The big 12 is exactly where I want to be from my college football team. I agree. West coast. I don't want to be a more like worst coast. I listen, I love where we're at, but this might sound crazy. Kansas, Iowa. Give me them every day of the week. Hey, listen, this is crazy. Look at us, huh? Yeah. Who would have thought say, see you a sense. They ascend. See you a sense. They ascend. Okay. Right. Well, I don't think I'm ready for it. Would you either go ACC or big 12, big 12 all day long? Nothing about the ACC is interesting to me at all. I'm not interested in the ACC, but I like some of their schools. It's just not for me. DMACC. That's DMACC. Okay. And I'm Tyler Palumbus. All right. I love you, Greg Ferguson. The other day, you know, his robot guy, Jeff with the Jeffery, Jeffery, it's Jeff with the G, you know, he's like a butler robot, he's a butler robot guy. Go on. Yeah. Last stuff here. Oh, that was two things. No, it's a coaching thing. It's a coaching thing. Are we talking buffs? We're talking football. We're talking life, bro. This is life. This is big picture. I'm in, man. Sean Payton is different. This is a big picture coaching thing. He's got a philosophy and systems that he's putting in place to make it easier for his players to understand him and joking there about Siriani, but Sean Payton is no. He knows what he's doing, whether it works or not. He got to have the right characters and pieces and all that, for it to fall in place. Coach prime had never called a play in his coaching life, but he gets into the room and he pumps guys up. He touches them right there and it feels like, you know, when you go to church and they just touch you and people just are passing out and stuff like that. He's just like, Oh, it touches their head and they're just passing out coach prime's borderline that he just does something to a man to people pumps their nads up, make some feel like they can do things that are extraordinary all I got to say, wait, do is get up earthy in the morning. Oh, I got it. And all I got to say, yeah, is Jeff's love's extra ordinary. It's extra ordinary man. So last thing, man, are you seeing a band? No, not professionally, but I was trying to get a try out with break signals. They're a huge local band. Oh, I told one of the dads who's like J green's neighbor and bestest friends, the pierces, all about how I quit J green comes on and after all the mom goes. The wife goes, yeah, I'm like, what are you trying to do with this? What's like the in game? I was like, that's what I said. And I was like, yeah, think about like leaving my family and wife and hitting the road with the guys and really giving this music thing a chance. I think we're going to put an edition on the house and add a second garage for our garage band. First garage has all of our Subaru's last thing, the coaching, my coaching, this is the life coaching part. So we know that coach JJ six flag team were four and oh, check this out. Went to Olivia's flag game. Two weeks ago at Mullen, they didn't have a coach at first in the coach. And I got to them. I was like, we'll do this, do this, do this. He goes, I play software. I don't know what I'm doing. He goes, I don't think I can do this. I signed up for flag football. So I was like, okay, let me coach. We got killed by the fourth graders, smoked Robert being all the kids I coached up. They never had a practice and we hung. We win the next game. These last two weeks, I'm coaching this team now for two and over three and one. And we want those fourth graders. I pump the parents. I can't believe we put this, I put this magic together, but we are X in them. We are. Oh, and. Oh, yes. And it's all about that coaching. Yes. I could coach a bunch of a fat kid, a bunch of rejects to a dub if you give me a coach prank coach. Good the other night. Yes, he did because you have those guys believe and still leave you don't believe late in the game like that. Those plays. Boo junk. I love that. I love dudes that don't swear. I'm just saying the coaching any level like hey, boss at work. Your boss at work. Pump you up. You got him in. Great job. You guys are doing a really good job like just, you want to tell you that. I want to appreciate that. And there's other stuff, you know, remember this and this and this got to work on this, but I appreciate you guys doing a good job. Whether you work at Walmart or your slice of meat at the deli who wouldn't like who didn't like that kind of stuff. That's like just a coaching thing. You got to pump them up. You got to pump them up. You got to make them believe it. Even when you're working, there's kind of like game day and there's practice some, you know, you get paid to practice at work and then there's times when you need to perform on game day when I'm coaching, I'm trying to be hype man. I'm trying to be their biggest fan in practice. I'm up in them. I'm trying to get up in their kitchen and say, Hey, this is not how we do things. This is not going to be acceptable on Sunday when we're playing. But on game day, it's like, Hey, man, you're on the mountain for a reason. I put you there because I got love and trust and belief in you. I got sue vote out there, keeping an eye on me. I bet I got strawberries. You wearing them short shorts or them long shorts. You got those short shorts. Really? Like Parcel's used to wear. Really? The bike shorts. Absolutely. I think there's some kind of polyester material zip on the front. Of course she does. I love that about her. You know, she wear those underwear that like Rosie O'Donnell wears just a lot like Eric Goodman. A lot like Eric Goodman. Let's go to break on time. As usual, we appreciate you guys being with us. We love you guys. My brothers. We're living together right now. We're getting our lives together. I love you guys so much. I loved you until I didn't. Oh, the gap band. The gap band. Let's do this. You don't know Lincoln Park, but you do know the gap band. Man. You are some goofy ass cracker. You're on one today. Danny Williams, Jeff Gruschen, Alex Becker, back on the other side of Smilesport. See, that's like scatting. Scat. Scat. Scat. Scat. Scat, also another word for droppings or castings. I don't know much about scat, but I do know. Ah! Skin. Skin. Skin. Skin. Skin. Skin. What? Man. Yeah. We're making. All right. Can I make it a major announcement? Yeah. The CK Cup. This is important stuff. Yeah. Sorry. It. You were. You're right. We had the Hooters girls on the other day. Yeah. And you're like, what's up with that cup? It's a little expensive. Yeah. That's way expensive. I'm cutting the price, guys. What? I'm dropping it down. I think I'm bringing it back to original first cup pricing. It's going to cost you one drink and a taco dinner, but the golf course is absolutely pickpocketing us for taco dinner to drink. It's 35 bucks a person. I just did the math from the last time. $35 for a taco and a drink, I don't even drink beer. It's like a drink ticket and then taco dinner, you know, catered. The taco was great. Don't get me wrong. I mean, you can have as many as you want. Can you bring your own food in there? Let me get a sponsor to bring around, but we can bring our own food over to the Denver beer co or we can bring our own, but you know, I got buddies. I would not say we need to be there for the taco, extravaganza. No, we can do that in my backyard. There's a very 28 in my backyard. No problem. Jeff, Alex, stop the show. There happens to be a very fine establishment right across the street from the golf course. PT's show club. PT's show club. I heard they have a fine buffet right there. Who is the safety? Come on. Give it to me. Did you award? Was that TJ? What are you talking about? Did he get in a little? Was he being a little rebellion that morning? Yeah. He threw the bottle. Yes. He was like first week in town. He was at the script club. He was just being rebellion. He was just being rebellion. There's something wrong with being rebellion. And he threw the beer mug at the bartender guy as far as I can remember. Alex, can you co-operate? Corroborate. Corroborate. You're not a lawyer. Corroborate. But you have watched a lot. I can tell you've watched a lot of law and order. Well, I'll tell you right now in the criminal justice system. The police are represented by two separate and equally important groups. The police who protect the people and the district attorneys who prosecute these offenders. These are their stories. Ting-ting. TJ Ward, right? Good buddies with our guy Tommy Lund. No way. Yeah, they're bros. They go golfing all the time. Wow. I don't remember that one, but I trust you guys. From Duke's. Yeah. So that's the announcement. I'm going to send out an email here in about the next 30 minutes, but we're dropping that price too. I'm going to say it was $160 and that's just ridiculous. That's a lot. I hated it. $160. We're going to go $130. We're dropping it down to $130. That's $5 higher. Yup. Yup. See, that'll change things for me. Yeah. I'll have a little bit. Yeah. So to come participate in this golf tournament, it's 9 holes and you get tacos. It's 400. And I'm like, um, and a coupe, a cup or a coupe. I was like, well, see the way my bank account is set up with the check in the savings it takes a day or two for me to transfer and I just couldn't pull a thing to get. Wayne Wade wants me to buy a boat. Yeah, that's it, man. That's the deal. So I'm going to send our email check your inbox playing flag, right? If you guys want in on the CK cup, any listeners, please join us. It's so fun. Bring a partner too. If you, if you're like, I don't know anybody, if you're like, uh, Jerry, right? And he, and I'm like, Jerry, how they treat me and he's like, how are they going to treat me out there? They're treating you. I don't bring your boy. Bring, bring a little, uh, baby hump. Bring eyes. Yeah. Yeah. That's it. Sure. That's right. I want to get it wrong. Um, so that's big news. I did the math. And I'm just like, this is so stupid. I don't need your tacos and one drink. But if anyone wants them, like seriously, if you ordered a drink and food off of the menu at Kennedy golf club, it would cost you $22, but it's costing us $35. And that's my own fault. I was trying to make it a taco. Any last, um, tidbits that we left in the cutting room floor, Alex, that you want to get in? What would Eric have done? Um, well, I thought we were going to talk more about the Broncos game. Let's do it. Uh, what, what did you guys like yesterday, like the mentality, the temperament, the defense was spectacular. Uh, truly the defense was really, really, they, the butts never got set off. Big moments, third downs, uh, shut them down. Uh, they beat themselves, but the Broncos put a lot of pressure on them as well. Uh, and I like the offense. I like the way, um, how about the O line? O line had. Oh, sacks. Who was the dude who made his first start? Oh, Paul Chesky. Yeah. Right. I'm a glenching replay better than the glenching has been a lot of months, sometimes you don't find out. Next is Jersey clean. Right. You don't find out how valuable you are till they're gone. And sometimes you find out how invaluable they are when I'm. He always has me, my glenching, my butt cheeks when he's out there. I like the guy. Do you know what to, um, phone next, look like he was going faster, not slower. He was just, he was just a faster, very, he looked like a Kyler version of himself. Um, and the way he was taking care of the ball, right? That's important. No turnovers. Uh, nothing too crazy. No sacks. Um, really efficient. That's the guy. A lot of completions. That's the guy. And there, you know, there was a Twitter post last night was like, no one's ever had that many completions and that high of a percentage was zero sacks and zero, this isn't zero. That's in the history, some made up stat. Yeah. Yeah. I really liked the secondary too. How about Sir Tan? Pretty much taken Mike Evans out of the game. We know Riley Moss is a player now. He's a, he's a legit number two guy. I like that. Sean Payton said that he has to, um, that right for rookie quarterback, you had to like paint the perfect picture for him. You know, you had to be really set it for him to have sex. Whoa, sex success. Success. Oh. And, um, and it was great. Bonix looked the part. Yeah. Uh, I'd say my, my really only downside was stuvante Williams. You're an idiot. He, I don't know if he's gets demoted from here on out, but he can't run. And the fumble is costly. Could have cost him bigger Bob Ross using a little van dyke brown. It's not for lack of a yellow ochre, enough for lack of opportunity, um, for Giovanni. He's had his most starting running back in the league, like forever. He'd be doing a Bob Ross thing right now titanium right here. They say they use the paint like landscapes of where he would bury the bodies. Did you ever hear that one? Yellow ochre. No, I've never heard that. What? Seriously? Oh yeah. Only the best killers like do that kind of stuff. They leave a little trails. I would say if I have enough money in my life as I'm older, just do not anything I'd ever want. Right. But do, um, luxury, uh, items, you like luxury? Yes. I would try to buy me an original Bob Ross painting. I bet you they're about $20,000, but you could buy an original Bob Ross for $15 to $20,000. You actually don't know the answer to how much that is. I would figure you have all people. I think back in the day, I looked at one for like 10 K or something like that or 8,000 bucks. Not to buy, but I was interested. But, um, yeah, and his son is a wicked, good artist too. I'd probably start with a Bob Ross junior original and then try to work. There's one for $12 and 98 cents. I don't think that's an original for, uh, it's used, but it's for 65,000, 65 45 55 Bob Ross original man. He made it did a million of them, those shows, right? Well, it's Becker Jeff Drish. I am Danny Williams. We appreciate you guys. And we love you guys. Good night. Sheila. I'll never forget today. Thank you Sheila. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Terry. Bye, Terry. Bye now. Whatever. Bye, Sheila. See you, Terry. Bye, Sheila. Bye, Terry. Bye, Sheila. True. Bye.
