No, I feel like he's very optimistic obviously this is a big deal and I know that there are a lot of fans out there that aren't happy that they turn down the deal with the big 12 because they weren't going to get full share and Why would they take the deal if that's what I'm thinking like because other because other big-name schools have taken the deal but I think like a school like say Oklahoma is a little bit different than a school like San Diego State and So I understand it's not even close Oklahoma that took that deal. I assume to go to the SEC Was moving out of the big 12 which was yeah, which was already You know a pretty lucrative thing plus Oklahoma's it's Oklahoma. It's not San Diego State and the SEC can just be like fine We don't want you Oklahoma and they'll be fine. We'll be okay So there's more is more to gain by simply being in that conference exactly that will open up however many avenues that will make up for whatever you're not getting in the big pot and so he basically JD Wicker Basically said like we are we want to be on the ground floor this is a better deal for us because we're not going to be left out of certain things and I I thought about this interview all week and I think it's great that they're on the ground floor I think that this is something that maybe years from now will look at and be like this was an amazing move Because they got into a conference early and they're able to determine other schools that are going to be in the conference And they're getting a full share and I know that it's not filled out right now But I think we need to wait like a year or two. Yeah, I mean the reality is we don't decide I think it sets up to be the better of the deals Anything can happen at this point right there could be another Shake-up of colleges, which we certainly don't hope But they have their eyes set on a few teams We've talked about What was it Texas San Antonio Texas San Antonio North Texas South Florida seems like they want to get Into the rest of the country outside of the yeah Memphis is also a man is another team in that group I just I'm excited for and then it they also talked about an ad article It was a bleacher report article They also talked about beyond the football teams how it's setting up To possibly be one of the better basketball conferences because they were also then try to go after a team like Gonzaga They have to get Gonzaga for the basketball because right now as it sets up. It's a pretty good basketball Conference yeah off top cynical states in that You already going to be joining the likes of a Washington state and Oregon state Some good it's it's a and then you can bring it Gonzaga into that fold You got yourself a pretty pretty good conference if we're talking football, which is where where the money always says is the money Yeah, I I'm not interested or I'm not not interested I'm not excited about teams like North Texas or Texas San Antonio. I mean, that's almost just taking a step or going back to the Mountain West to me because the Mountain West has more established programs They also said that in the article that all of the Mountain West schools are being looked at to join so UNLV I think was one of the biggest teams that was left off that people were thinking are going to be in the Pac-12 But I don't want Texas state. I don't want North Texas or UTSA I want the teams like I know they're never going to get in Arizona But I want a team with a little bit of of a name to it I I don't I think the North Texas green flash maybe or is that the to lean to lane green flash? I don't know but Beggars can't be choosers. I just don't really get excited about these teams. Yeah, I can feel that I mean it sounds like those teams are on the board according to the Pac-12 commissioner There's been a lot of teams reaching out that possibly won again and I could just be him Spinning it however. They're gonna be a Lot of there's gonna be some teams left out of those two ginormous conferences in the Big Ten Three big ginormous conference. I feel like they're not in the same kind of realm and San Diego State here's another thing about not going into the Big 12 Do you want to be in my opinion a doormat forever because you'll never get off the ground with all the other great schools in the Conference that kids can go to we're talking about like them turning down the Big 12 if they were to go to the Big 12 The current football team that they have they're rebuilding it, but it's not ready to compete with those big schools. I Agree I agree it wouldn't I After hearing you know some of the details of of the Big 12 and why it didn't work.
