If someone transferred a large basket that is the size of a “domain”- 10 tefachim high walls and 4x4 wide, they are exempt, (bc one is liable for transferring “items” like by the mishkan and not domains.) In circular basket, that requires 6 tefachim to fit 4x4 box inside.

If an item is not completely transferred into the second domain, one is exempt. So if someone transfers an 11 tefach High item into a public domain, they are exempt, bc the top tefach sticks above the domain. The gemara has a dispute if a 7.5 tefach basket falls face down to the street if one is liable, bc it came to rest once it was “lavud”- within 3 tefachim of the ground, and at that moment it was above 10 tefachim from the floor

Something in the street less than 3 tefachim off the ground is reshus harabim. Above 3 it is a karmelis bc it’s not really used by the public. But if it’s 9 tefachim off the ground, it is a reshus harabim, bc the public will use it to adjust their packages. A hole in the street that is 9 tefachim deep is a dispute bc it’s defined as “תשמיש על ידי הדחק”- forced usage but still usage and it’s unclear it makes it public domain or not.

For an eiruv techumin to “work,” a person must have in mind to be living in a place where the bread is halachically accessible.

Rebbes opinion is that is Rabbinic prohibitions on Shabbos May only go in effect after definite nightfall.

A puddle in the street is considered reshus harabim bc the public walks right through it, both in the summer and the winter.

If one doesn’t fully pick an item off the ground, but jsut picks up one end at a time, the Halacha is that they are exempt bc they haven’t done a full akira.

A threshold in front a home that is less than 4x4 is considered a makom petur and it sis therefore fine to transfer between that threshold and the house, or fork threshold to the street. One should not, however, transfer from house to street through using stop in the threshold. (If they do it, they are patur bc item is at rest in the neural zone)
