1. Someone who has food in their mouth and realizes they forgot a bracha. If the food will not be repulsive if it is taken out, (like a lollipop) then it should be taken out, a bracha should be said, and then the food is eaten. If the food will become repulsive, then one moves it to the side of his mouth. By liquids, where there is impossible, one is forced to swallow the drink.

2. If one already finished eating and realizes they forgot a bracha, the Gemara ruled that the opportunity for bracha has been lost.

3. Old wine is food for stomach, but new wine is bad

4. אספרגוס (undiluted wine/beer mixed with some spices in the morning) can be made with either wine or beer. There are different health values for each. The wine one is food for heart, eyes, and spleen, while the beer one is good for head, stomach, and hemorrhoids. The wine one should be supplemented with bread and the beer one should be supplemented with whatever type of food the beer was made from.

5. 10 laws for cup of Bracha. It requires rinsing both inside and out, the cup should be complete, undiluted wine should be put in, the cup should be surrounded with people or other cups, it should be received with 2 hands, held in the right, lifted up one tefach, one should look at the cup, wear something on their head, and it should be sent to ones wife.

6. The left hand shouldn’t help support the cup held in right hand.

7. There is a concept that a woman’s “fruits” are automatically blessed thru her husband, and once yalta (rava Nachman’s wife) didn’t get the cup from bentching bc of this concept and she was very upset.

8. Even number of cups are dangerous to drink.

9. One should ideally sit down when reciting Birchas Hamazon.

10. Beis Shammai and Hillel disagree about many matters regarding seudah. B’S says first bracha on the day of shabbks and then bracha of hagafen on the wine. This is for 2 reasons. (The day of Shabbos is the reason why we’re drinking the wine. The obligation for kiddush set in b4 the wine was actually present. B’H says first bracha on the wine and then bracha on the day of Shabbos. This is for two reasons. We need the wine to be able to do kiddush and bc wine is more tadir(frequent) than kiddush.

The Gemara rules like beis Hillel (even thigh a heavenly voice already declared the law is like Hillel bc not everyone respects what heavenly voices rule)
