Listen back to Paul Cooney, Barry Ferguson and Andy Walker as they talk all things Scottish football.

This is the Gore ideal football show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcasts. Call Oh wait, wait, it's 17, 17, 700. Yeah, the weekend is here. League Cup quarter finals, the Premier Sports Cup kicks off tonight in Lanecshire, motherhood against Undi United. And do you know what's going to be virtually a full house? Then tomorrow afternoon, Rangers come back home to Ibrooks, Rangers against Undi at 5.30. At the same time, Aberdeen against Spartans, and then Sunday, Celtic against Borka. Danny Ferguson is here, so too is Andy Walker. They joined us on Wednesday evening, just ahead of Celtic in the Champions League, Andy, 5-1. What do you make of it? I think it's the way that Celtic supporters want to see their team play. They did a good bit of arrogance about them. I thought they had a bit of a swagger about them. It was a fabulous occasion, just with the fans getting really involved in it. And I just thought they sold the whole place to the rest of Europe, the watching world, to be just a fabulous venue. It was exactly what you were looking for. And now the really big games come, you know, Dortmund and Atlanta and Leipzig. Great tests for Celtic. And that's what everyone's saying, you know, don't get carried away. I don't know what anyone is, but I think they're still just at level of excitement back in the Champions League. And the fact that Celtic's recent record in Europe has been so poor, so disappointing, such a letdown time after time. The other night, just arrogance and confidence and the really good play from so many of the players. I don't think there was a failure on the night. And then you see the quality of the subs coming on, the pass for James Forrest and Adamida for a goal. There was a lot of good stuff on view. Barry, a lot to like, but Celtic, the other night, 5-1. As somebody who's led Rangers to European final, we need to see the big two doing well in Europe, coefficient and all the rest, but you must have enjoyed the game. Yeah, they were so impressive, Paul. There's no doubt about that. I said in Wednesday night, that's the way they had to start the game on the front foot, take the game, a Bratislava and they certainly done it. And I thought they ran over the top here. Now, look, Bratislava in a top team, but they're a good team, Paul. They've got good players. They had some players that could hurt you, but I thought on the night, certainly at the front three, I've settled it. I was so impressed with the work ethic, the pace of them. It frightens defenders, but it's Andy pointed out. I thought all over the pitch, Celtic didn't have a failure. They were all on top of their game and look, they thoroughly deserved a 5-1 victory. Dyson Mida, his press is special. Yeah, listen, I've said that he could, his final cross, a final. When he arrives in at the final third at times, it lets them down a bit, but I thought he was excellent, Paul. He's got pace to bend, just defenders are so scared of his pace. And I said as well, it's not just going forward. It does it, that decided again brilliantly as well. And I thought he was in fine form on Wednesday. I think the one thing you want about any player, just give his everything, give his what you've got, run for 90 minutes, and what an attitude he has, what a teammate. It must be if you're ever in trouble, you know that he's got your back. Well, the manager spoke about him today. That's where the game starts. People, you know, I've seen reports, obviously, in terms of the team doing very well and keeping clean sheets and the goalkeeper in the back four, it starts at the front. And I think what we're seeing from all those guys at the top of the pitch, that when they see it, they're gone. And then that's our triggering reference to go. And I would doubt there's anyone better in world football than Dyson Mida. In that context, I watched an image of the game where, and this is towards the end of the game. And if you see the clip back in the game on a certain angle, he's making a recovery run into the sort of what would be the left back position, tracking their right back, thinking the ball's going to come across. But then the ball goes instead to the center half, and he presses it and nicks it in Zoey. So that level of, even if you can do that, it's the well and desire to do it, which most players will now, you know, that he could have easily dropped his, he could have easily dropped that press. He didn't have to do that one. That was the one that was important. He went, realized it wasn't getting there. And he actually got to the center half before the guy that should have got there. It's incredible. It's an unbelievable press, but that's mentality. Andy? Yeah, it's just wonderful to see. And of course he could improve on his end product, but I think everyone is very forgiven of any player who gives you absolutely everything. And that's what you see from either time and time again. And he's finished, was really good. And I think he's such an important part of the team now, because as Brendan Rogers was saying, I can remember Billie McNeil saying it to us when the time that we won the league with Macavenny and Joe Miller and Paul McStapie, a grant behind us, and we had closing down. That was a phrase we used at the time, but it all started from the front. And if you play alongside someone like, if any, he just never stops. And that's what you want. You can be a spur for a teammate. If you see him working so hard and closing down, you just sort of want to follow him. And I think he's a great example, minder, of what you can do off the ball. Right. You see when he's pressing, he panics defenders in to make mistakes. And defenders don't like getting pressed. And I'm a big believer in the successful teams I've played in. It did start at the front. The front three were key to start the press. And he certainly does it. He's a machine. There's no doubt about it. As I said, his end product could be better. But then again, you watch the game and Wednesday night. He's finished. It was a good finish. It was a difficult finish. So it tells you, it's in there just at times when it gets, isn't it? Great positions. He does let yourself down. Maybe that final cross at a pass. But in terms of his what rate, it's phenomenal. And I know they missed a few chances, Celtic. But to score five, it's a Champions League. There's no many five score. There's no many teams that scored five goals across Europe this week. But Celtic were really ruthless and relentless. They kept going back for more. And it was a tremendous performance. It's just three weeks ago. It's hard to believe Matt DeRaille went to Brighton for £25m. So the worry for Celtic was could they replace him, in came Arnie Ingalls. Paolo Bernardo was doing well and is still doing well. Barry, what do you make of the young Belgian midfielder? I've been impressed. We're what I've seen. Really confident in terms of his age. Looks out to expect a lot of money. I live in my own pound. But already at this early stage, I think the Celtic fans have certainly took to me. He shows a bit of balls during the game as well. He'll take it in difficult situations. And in terms of the step up and taking penalties, he looks cool, calm and collected. So at this early stage, it looks at 11m own pound. Celtic have got a top-mad fielder on their hands. Andy, what do you make of on some people saying already? Now they don't want to shout this. It's very early days. But Kevin DeBruna, one of the great Belgian midfielders, do you see? What would you think of Arnie Ingalls? Well, I see he's someone who's obviously got a big reputation now. He's come for a huge fee. And I think you can see already that he's settled in so quickly. There's been no settling in period if you like. He has been effective since getting the shirt. And you can see he's got goals in him. He's got some key passes. He's got some forward passes. He's got some killer passes in him. He's got good physique. He's got good running power and energy. And he's a type of player that every Celtic supporter was wanting the club to sign. He'll spend a bit of money. And I think that's where I got it wrong. I didn't think Celtic would spend at that level. And I don't think they would have done with any other manager. So I think they are believing in Brendan Rodgers and the possibility of him taking them a bit further in Europe and getting them a bit of respectability that maybe he was lacking over the last few years. But could be even better in time than Matt O'Reilly? Yeah, high possibility for what you're showing in this short period of time. Matt O'Reilly last season was key to Celtic strong start to the season. He had a dip just after Christmas Paul for a couple of months. But then he came really strong towards Enlott overall for one and a half million pounds. He was an unbelievable signing for Celtic, but the new boy Engles certainly at this young age. It looks to me even the transfer fee doesn't affect him. He's a highly confident young man. So far so good for the Celtic support. And it looks to me, as I said, they've got a top midfield on their hands. Here's the manager's view sort of 36 hours later about that game. I think, firstly, the performance. It was an outstanding team performance. Everything that I'd want, the team full of desire and energy. And then the energy from the stadium was absolutely incredible. So that combination is a real force. And we've seen that at the game. So, yeah, outstanding performance. Really, really good. Everything I'd want in my team. And yeah, on anything, this one was a couple more goals. A couple more goals. He's second top of the table. That didn't change after last night. Listen, we know it was really early. I thought it was quite funny that you had that line about just taking straight to Munich and playing Bayern, who are at the top by a couple of goals. But it is great to see a Scottish team doing well. As Rangers have done, Rangers fans on last night saying, give credit to Rangers. Absolutely. Rangers record in Europe in recent seasons has been better than Celtics. It's Celtics chance now to improve the coefficient. And then Rangers next week, Malmo and all the rest. A lot of Rangers victories over the last few years actually enabled the Scottish champions. And it was Celtic to get direct access to the Champions League. And I know you're banging on about all the time porn. I think you're right. The coefficient is so important. We're at a level where we could improve a little and get automatic qualification again. Or we could just drop off any victory, any points that you get, draws victories. It's all very helpful. Barry's put you in the mood for next week. Malmo Rangers in the Europa League. And let's hope this time next week we're talking to Rangers a good result over there. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Of course, I would rather be in the Champions League, but Europa League is where Rangers are. And I think it's a very good opening time for Rangers to go and get three points on the board. Again, Malmo, they're a good team. They're not a top team. So Rangers have got to go over to Sweden and try and come back with the three points. It'll be difficult, but every away game in Europe is. But as I said, I don't think Malmo or anything, if you. I Brooks, you're back there tomorrow. Barry, for the first time, I know you've been in and out, helping around the place. But the Rangers fans have definitely helped me understand. But you've seen it this week and it's looking good. It's okay, the top half isn't open yet, but the lower end is ready. Yeah, the most important thing was getting back home, Paul, to I Brooks. Look, Hamden wasn't ideal, but it's not an excuse. Rangers still had to go and do a job in that. That was one game's football. And even if the Copeland bottom tier wasn't going to be open, I still think Rangers went back with just the three stands. So good news at the bottom, half's open, hopefully come next week's game against tips next Sunday at 12 o'clock. The full standard will open for the fans, but I'm sure everybody's excited just to get back on your home patch and hopefully get past Dundee and getting it at the semi-finals. Here's the manager, Philip Clemon. To be honest, it's a bus. You feel it in the building. I was there yesterday because there was something for the commercial there to do. And you get a special feeling coming back there. So I think it will be, you know, I know it's the same with all the players. I feel that already this week in the training. It gives something extra and I think it will be with all the fans also. It's like coming home after a really long time. It felt like we haven't been there for 10 years or something. It's not that long, but we have that feeling, so we're really happy that we can be back there. Of course, it always helps the enthusiasm of fans and in that way, Hampton was more difficult and we know why. So it always helps and it's not only here. It's with a lot of clubs in the world. It's the same playing before your fans and for sure at iBrogs with so many people and so passionate people. So yeah, it's a big help always to play there and do you have that support? So Dundee commented down to more of the 530 kickoff. Let's get the team update. What's the squad news? The same as last week. So Ritvan, Danny will stay out and Rabi also. So Ritvan and Danny are individually on the pitch, training not with the team. Rabi is not yet and the rest of the team will be available for selection. Barry, what are you thinking, team wise ahead of tomorrow? I don't think you'll make any changes, Paul. No, no, no. Baligan not coming in at the back. No, I think he'll keep trying to keep a settled back line. A lot has been made at Igef Mani. Obviously coming off the bench against Undianited and showed something. I would like to see him start, but I don't think the manager will start him. I think he'll go with the same. Starting 11 that started against Undianited at Tannades. I think it tells you the different place that Celtic Rangers are in. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if Celtic made half a dozen changes this weekend. A lot of big games and obviously Champions League does a big high about the Champions League and coming down from that, you need to be wary of. You'll need to give a lot of players a bit of game time. I think it highlights maybe the difference at Celtic. I've got a lot of quality players to get onto the pitch, to give them game time and Rangers may be not as many alternatives. Well, look at the Celtic bench and the manager referred to that today. We'll come to that shortly. Give you the Celtic update then. What about CCV and also Alistair Johnson? Yeah, but we get a few players we niggles, so we'll have a wee look at that and assess that by end of play tomorrow. So we won't take any risk on any players, but yeah, we won or two. It was a secondary recovery as well, so there was a group of the players that were covering a group training hard and then one or two inside, just making extra recovery inside rather than out. Somebody was on last night, Barry, what are you thinking? Yeah. I forgot. She only was ill just before the game, and Dale came in on the right hand side. That's the only change. The journey's okay now, I take it. Yeah. Well, the manager says it. He's not mentioned that he's still ill, so if he's fit, he'll come in. And as Rami, everybody wants to see the new 3.5 million Euro signing, but I don't think he'll start the game, Paul. I think he'll start from the bench. No changes, you reckon. What about Andy said that Celtic could have had many changes, do you think? For the 5 or? You could make 4 or 5. I mean, you'd think Trusty might play, but, yeah, Paolo Bernardo may be via a left back, maybe Forrest. You can change the goalkeeper, you never know. I mean, Celty, I've got a good number. Yeah. I was sending my son when I was watching the game in the 3 that jumped out as Bernardo, Eda, and James Forrest. I mean, they don't make the Celtic team any weaker at all, and that's when... Trusty came for a lot of money. You would expect him to get a bit out of it. I think he'll play. I think he'll play. I don't think he'll risk characteristics to big for the team. If he's got a slight niggle, you're not even involving him at the weekend. So that is a difference. That is big players on the Celtic bench that can certainly come on and no make them any weaker, maybe even make them stronger. Gary last night at Celtic fan said, "You don't want to disrespect Falkirk." But, I mean, the quality... I mean, Champi has another one as well. Luke McCown is another one. So when you talk about Trusty and Paolo Bernardo and Vi and Forrest and Ida and McCown, that's a lot of players who you want to try and keep happy. And I think the best time to do it, they will want to impress and you know, up against Falkirk from the championship. I think it's an ideal time to see them play from the start. The invincible Falkirk. It's a great story, isn't it? You know, her own Steven again. Invincible for every, he's now retired, but John McGlinn has done a great job. Yeah, it's an unbelievable season last year in League 1, but to come up in a championship, which is a difficult league. Paul, there's a lot of good teams, a lot of good players and managers, and they're flying high in the championship. And after that, we go double promotion. I think they'll win the league. Like, do you like promotions? Yes, I'm fancying Falkirk, wow. Story that, wouldn't you? Yeah. So, angles could be better than Matt O'Reilly and back-to-back for the Berns from Barry. Yeah. Yeah, it's a high-poss ability. In terms of what you're talking about, I don't know, just go first. Yeah, I love what you say. You can put up for a lot of money. You're showing quality in a short space of time. Time will tell, obviously, and they pointed out. There's a lot of big games to come dormant, obviously playing in old film games, etc. So, it was good to watch... I watched Arsenal, Atalanta, Celtic play them, and I think much the three. That's right. It was now now, but it was a high-quality game. I think we all saw the incident with the penalty that was saved, maybe, rather than missed. It was good quality, and I think it's going to be a real test going to Atalanta. Two great lines from Barry at the beginning. That's what I'm saying. You're a great line. Rogers says, "Dison could be the best presser of the ball in the world." Brendan Rogers, Andy Walker, would you agree? We hope maybe he's watching the world's football, but I think it's just a great example of someone just prepared to give absolutely everything. I had teammates with that. I'm sure Barry's the same. They would just give you absolutely everything on a week-to-week basis, and if you were ever in any trouble, you'd get someone doing a bit of hard yards for you. High praise. That's so much part of the game now to talk about this high praise and do it properly. I mean, Sloven, perhaps Lava, tried to do it in the early stages. Celtic were really calm, composed, the ball going back to Schmico playing our wee-shot pass in at Kalamagrega, and within less than five seconds, I had a chance to put it over the bar. It was great football. Vladimir Weiss was in touch with you, Barry, while he was in the great city. I never played them. No, I know you do miss them. Sally listened to a possibility he could have got sent off for the wee-crick out, but once I seen that again, it was just a flick. But no, he wasn't involved in the game. Listen, Celtic just swallowed them up. That's what I said in Wednesday before the game. They put real pressure on them, the panic to make mistakes, and they couldn't handle it. We're going on the line's next. Craig is on just after this. This is the Good Radio Football Show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. The weekend is here, Paul Cooney, Barry Ferguson and Andy Walker on the line now, Craig, a Rangers fan from Bayleston. Hi, Craig. Good evening. Good evening, fan. How are you? We're good. Thanks. How are you? How are we doing, Craig? Not bad, not bad. I just wanted to get your opinion on something. So being a Rangers fan myself, you know, the season hasn't been up to, I think, standards of a lot of fans. The past couple of performances have been a little bit of an improvement. Now, something that I'm seeing in the social media a lot is who should be starting up front against Dundee? Now, should it be scheduled days or so? It's hard to go ahead and improvement this season. What should it be, hands out, agnami? It came on again, it's been donated now, it's been, it was pretty good. And it came on again, felt it, it wasn't that I forced it, but probably one of the best things is from the day. But I just wanted to get your opinions on it. Barry Ferguson. Right. First and foremost, how do you pronounce it? I'm saying, "egamani." I'm saying, "egamani." I actually don't know. "egamani." Well, can't we rob? Rob McLean will know. I'd say, "egamani." No, I'm not listening, Craig. I've got to agree. I was impressed with him coming on last week against Dundee United. Personally, I would like to see him start the game, because he's shown enough in that. In the last couple of games, as you mentioned, that he's definitely, he looks to me, he's about a free spirit as well. Paul, he's one of the players. He looks quite powerful, he's nice touch. He'll come up, players. I would like to see him start, but personally, I don't think he'll start with him tomorrow. Craig, I think he'll still stick with Deissos. Yeah, I'm the same. I'm the same. I think it's certain, especially me personally, I think we should have went and strengthened as well. I don't think that we've got enough fire cover to move forward, if you like. So, I'm hoping that "egamani," "egamani," whatever we say, can just click on in actual interest. Andy's a striker. You haven't seen much of him, but... Well, we've swung to the Deissos before we like his attitude. We know he might miss the odd one, especially in a big game, but his record is pretty good, and he does play with a smile on his face, and he's got a good attitude. He keeps coming back for more. I've got to say, I just think it's a position where Rangers are short. If you get an injury to Sergio Deissos, you're forced almost to turn to "egamani." There's no sign of De Nilo. I don't know whether he's close to being fit, or I know he caused a bit of money, but there aren't many options. It might be the case that you would play someone like, I don't know, Tom Lawrence through the middle. If you were struggling for "egamani," it didn't play. It's an area that I thought Rangers would have had more options. Actually, Tom Lawrence was asked today about his best position, which I think we know, but I think it was with reference to the fact he could end up as striker. Yeah, I mean, wherever I play, it's not always number 10. I drop deep and play in my field as well. But yeah, I want to have that influence on the game, and I felt like I had a good variety in that game, because I was able to drop deep, get on the ball, and then get it higher up as well. So yeah, that's the influence I want, and I should have scored more this week as well. Well, after a year, man, I've viewed Paul his nose, what if I just got 99 on number 10 or six at a rate? But in terms of Tom Lawrence, he showed a bit, I think there's no more to come from Tom Lawrence. He certainly got a belly. He can create. He's got a goal in him, and he could have it a heart trick last week. But in terms of Rangers up top, yeah, that's well-shot. Certainly, Danilo, I don't know how long he's going about. Six to eight weeks, I think. And then you're going with one kind of experience, strike, and deserts, and "egamani" is just a, you've got to remember he's young, he's just come into the country a couple of months ago. And if deserts does suffer an injury, you've got to hang your hat on a young centre forward. But I did like what I see, seeing Paul. I think there's a player there, they're selling the potential, and hopefully the coaching staff can bring that potential out, and hopefully in time, he can become a very good Rangers centre forward. Craig, the manager was asked today at the Media Conference to the club need a lift. It's quite a negative question, because if you talk like that, it's like everybody's running around here, like zombies, and with a head down, and it's not the case. You saw the game last week, moments in games in the weeks before. You see we're rebuilding a squad, new players coming in. There are a lot of positives here. I don't like to speak about individual players too much, so I will not go into that. But you start to see the first fruits of the seeds that are planted, and it's just the first start, we're just starting with that. So I want to seek confirmation of that, and then becoming stronger and stronger week by week, month by month. Craig, for you, big day tomorrow back to iBrogs. Yeah, I think, like most Rangers fans, I don't think it was great in Hambin, just the atmosphere in general, not being at your home park. Everyone knows what iBrogs can be like in any game, so I think being back at iBrogs is going to be a big lift, but again, time will be the best together, I think, and I just hope that I could perform at least. What do you think? What's your, I mean, listens to the cup, you're the holders, you want to stay in it, so I suppose you care in some ways, but score line, what do you reckon, Craig? I'm going to go three now, and I'm going to contradict myself in the essence of score. Right, there you are. Well, you always need options, and I think this is clearly the undisputed number one. I mean, Mega Mani shot through the middle. I thought it would have been a brilliant goal, the way he took that on his chest, and turned on the one movement, set up, Tom Lawrence, and the second half for a puppet goal, I would say, but a keeper, that would have been, that would have been a brilliant goal, because that's the type of play that Rangers need. Someone creating something out of nothing, and it looked as though Mega Mani had got the potential to do that, Craig. James Tavern here, Barry. You feel he's got the tide turning in his favour again. I just get the feeling. Well, the move didn't materialise for whatever reason, and I don't even know if the move was was on or not, Paul, but listen, one thing again, I'll say about James Tavern, he does. He puts himself out there, and I thought last week he had to stay the game. There was no doubt about it, and the most important thing I said was, just make sure you win, and he played a part in that one. But in terms of the Rangers, I've got to be excited, Paul. I've got to be looking forward to playing in front of your own fans again, and also there's some new signings that I've never experienced in my book, so I'm sure they'll be really looking forward to the game tomorrow. Rangers have been fined 12,000 euros, is that £10,500 by UEFA. Apparently, they said some of the passageways at Hampton were blocked during the game, and the qualifier with Dynamo K, if that's just come in, see it online there. So UEFA, very particular about so many different things. There's a new review panel in Scottish football. Craig is a football fan. I think this season, will he call him certainly been more open? And you know, there's a new panel, have you heard about this today? No, not at all. So it's a new review panel, which instead of meeting once a quarter, there's now going to be a key match incident review panel meeting whatever you week, and they will look at VAR and how it has rated with a view to helping the referee, so that they're not just going to be in an ivory tower. They're going to look at it every week. There'll be five panellists. I think they've got a big pool of people. Five, I think every week, they'll rotate it. They're not saying who it is, and that's maybe a good thing. Five members, three independent panel members with established careers within Scottish football that rose out YouTube. That's not even funny. Coaches, former players and members of the Scottish football media, that rose me out. One represented from the SFA and one from the SFPFL clubs, but this has to be a good thing surely. Yeah, yeah. And my reading it, I think it's going to be good for the game pool certainly once I'm eating terms of while I call them, quite a bit further while I call them since they took over the job. I've seen them come out and speak a number of times. I like to see that. That's what people want to see. People have been open honest. And I think this is a really good idea, Paul, as you say, is people that have got established careers within Scottish football. And they chose X coaches and footballers, and I think you need that. You've always said that. Yeah, I've always said that. Some weeks will be busier than others. I thought last week there was a lot of debate, Celtic heart, some of the incidents with penalties, St. Mirren and two of the political monarch Sean Rooney, the Sean Rooney, one Ross County and Dundee were apparently Tony Dockery had already spoken to what he call him about. Simon Murray. A Simon Murray penalty that wasn't given. But yeah, I think the other interesting thing is just how difficult some of the decisions can be, how easy some of the decisions can be. And then there's a bit in between. And all of this, I think, will be educational for everyone. Greg, it's a good thing. I would imagine that at least they're going to be a bit more open under what they call them. Yeah, you'd think so. Well, again, Val gets talked about every single week. They're fleeing decisions. That's not the next thing. No matter your opinion on it, whether you want it or not, I think it's just going to stay here for the long run. So if you can do a thing to try and improve it by introducing a final, then it's going to hopefully make things better, which is what we're going. And see the boardroom stuff. Does it affect you? I see Dave King's looking for an EGM extraordinary general meeting. But he was on early on the week. We had him on from Jim White, who'd given us it. But he was saying he's not ready to put more money into the club, but he wants to get involved again. Isn't it? Investment your club needs rather than, well, what do you feel? I don't. I think you should maybe make argument for both, whether it be investment or you just need someone to read you the way. And I'm probably with a lot of it. I think that maybe you know, I'm not to 100% on the finances, etc. But I think we just need a smart body at the top to direct it. And when Dave King was at Rangers, that's what happened. You know, he's the other that are at good time for the club. And I think that it's probably been Rangers fans most heartless. I would say maybe in the last 10 years. So I would say definitely a good thing. And I would say most or all Rangers fans would agree with me. Tom Lawrence has been speaking today just before you go about a few things, including the game tomorrow. And what about his form? He's a bev and enigma, isn't he? Can look really good as he did last weekend. Yeah, all right. I mean, there's room for improvement. Don't get me wrong. But like I say, I feel like I'm coming into good form now. And long made that continue. And what's you thinking about tomorrow Dundee in the cup? I mean, we take it the same as any other game. Like we go to win every other game. And I'd be the same for this one. And obviously, it's in a different competition, but we look forward to it. Yeah, they're a good team. We know every time we play them, it's going to be a tough battle and have a certain way of playing. And we have to play our game as well as we can. Actually, what's in good stead? Greg, what's going to be a good season for you? Given the way things are just now, the way Celtic are, the window they've had seriously for you, what would be a good season? We've got to be competitive as much. We've got to look at the two cups as a minimum. And we've got to have a good standing in Europe as well. You know, probably it's always been quite successful for Rangers in getting into the last stages. With the new format, I actually think the new format's a good idea and it's facing things up. Can you compete in the league, Craig? Can you push Celtic all the way? Right now, I would say, no, personally, right now. But things can improve. But I think it's not with how weak Rangers look at teams, it's how strong sales they look as well. And I think that's maybe been overlooked slightly because Rangers put performances in some games. Barry, what were you selling at? Is that fair? Listen, you've got to have a mindset, you've got to be able to. I kind of get my head through saying that Celtic are really strong. They're going to lie in there. I've watched them. Strong team, strong unit, some right good players. Rangers need to challenge them. They need to find something somewhere. And how they do that, that's up to the manager and the coaching staff. They need to really challenge Celtic. Celtic, they can't make it easy for Celtic, but they're already five points behind Paul, but they're in the third week of September. And they can't allow that to be any further. They need to win every single game. I'm hearing from family and friends that are expecting a treble. They're talking about an unbeaten season. Can you see anyone beating them? But I think we all know over 90 minutes anything can happen in any given day. But that's the type of mindset that some Celtic supporters are in at the moment. And this is the first cup competition. So there is a semi-final place at stake, both Celtic and Rangers at home. And you would expect both of them to be in the semis. Yeah, listen, you're cup holders. You're playing Dundee. Look, no disrespect. Dundee, you've got a good manager on some good players, but Rangers should be beating Dundee tomorrow at home. Craig, thanks for your call. 08/08/17/1700. This is the Go Radio Football Show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcasts. Let's go! Go on! Go Radio. Business show back on Sunday morning. Tell you more later, but Willy and Tom, or hockey, and so Tom Hunter will be here on Sunday morning. It's a great show. And if you miss it, get it where you get your downloads. You're a good man for the podcast and all that. Hi, I've got a friend who never misses it. He just loves the chart. He loves the diversity of it. He just loves the thinking behind it. He runs a garage, Michael, in canvas line, and he never misses it. Excellent. I've seen a bit about the can email in and get business. That's right. Yeah, I had that. Was it yesterday? I had that. That's nice. What are you looking for the email address? I'm fine just now, but do you know what? To get a begging letter in from me. Or getting advice off to guys who have ran businesses all their days. I thought that was a nice touch. No cost as well. It's free. In the opening program they were talking about being over for the euros and they had the great party beforehand. It was hundreds of thousands. No, I was here with you. We were on air here. It wasn't invited. They raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for street soccer. It was a phenomenal end of money. Remember, one day for street soccer and George Square? That's great. Yeah, the homeless world cup. Great. Really good venture. David does great work there, doesn't he? But yeah, that's Sunday morning. Tell you more about it in the second hour of the program. So much to come up. Mother will done the United Andy, your old club, the well up against the Tangerines. It's a great game tonight. Great game tonight. And what an opportunity for either of them that we are talking about already. Self-exchange those are just one step away from the semi-finals. I mean, mother will done the United. You get through that. You've got a game at hand and 90 minutes away from a cup final. Maybe if you get the luck of the draw. But I didn't, I thought done the United last week didn't show any sort of ambition or adventure. They're going to take Rangers on. Who might? I thought might have been a bit vulnerable given that they'd lost so heavily against Celtic. So I wonder what their approach will be tonight and haven't seen mother will already this season. I quite like the look of them. I hope I hope they can win. Will you reckon? Yeah, in terms of the United, I was going back to the game last week. I was very surprised the way that they set up. To be fair, I'm good when he changed it after 35 minutes and it did make up a slight difference. But I've done the United go to full part tonight and set it up the same way as they did, which I'd be very surprised if they do its models game. But listen, what an opportunity for both clubs. And this is getting to a semi-final with the Scottish Cup, Hamden, and they'll be a bit of coin in it as well for them. So I think this will be an entertaining game, but I'll be honest with you, I'll find some other one. Good. One for the well, as long. Yeah. And the other one for me for the well. Great to see them in a semi-final. They haven't been at semi-final at Hamden since 2018. And for Dundee United, you know, it's 2016 since they were there. Well, I was brought up in the United side. It was probably the best in the history. Always getting to semi-finals. What a team they had. When you consider it at one point, they'd go off, Hagerie, Niri and Malpasses are back for. Fantastic. No, back for? Yeah, back for. I was on midfield. Madrid had him in Bannon. Kurt Wood. He had started in Ralph Milne, David Dodds. David Dodds, who went to Rangers, of course, as well. Yeah, and Aberdeen. What a team now. What a team, wasn't it? Paul Stark was a phenomenal striker. Paul Stark was, what old cup was that? He started was that 86. In Mexico, he started games against Mexico, Germany, and all that. As you go, keep a big Billy Thompson. Hamish McAlpey. That's right. And then Billy after it's a late, great Billy, who was at Rangers as well. Lovely, excellent Mern go keeper. Yeah, sadly, passed away. No, not that long ago. Yeah. He was the go-kim coach at Rangers for a while when I was a good, big guy, big Tomo. Yeah. Andy Halliday is well saying this might be his last chance for, you know, to get to a major event at Hamden. I don't know if he did say that, but he's at 32. He's been in front of the media talking about it. Great head of here he got there. Is it? Was that? Yeah, I think maybe I'll be transplanting. Good on him. Going on there? I don't know what's going on there. Well, but listen, Andy said that a good career, Paul. Oh, hey, he's still got a lot of talk. Yeah, he's got all that experience. He's now getting a regular game at Mother War. I saw him a few weeks ago when he beat Hart for park, and Andrew played really well. He just sat in there, didn't he? Because in the middle of the pouch, good experience, good left peg. And then I think that was a good sign in this shortcut. Well, bringing in Andy Halliday. Let's hear from Brendan Rogers, then he was speaking today after the game the other night, and also looking forward to Falkook on Sunday. He's talking about his team and the additions to it, and he feels he's building a really solid squad. Yeah. Yeah, I think it's just, hopefully, over time, that's the case. I think what I'm starting to see now is the identity and the team that I want to, that took a little bit of time, but we're clearly seeing, or I'm seeing what I want to see, which is good, and now it's just building on that and building a really successful team. As I said, our job here at Celtic is to take on and protect the great history of this club and the one in mentality, but for the modern team to make our own history. So yeah, we're in a really good place, but still a long way for us to go. It's been a big summer for him, hasn't it? Andy, they're saying in the paper today, he's never been in a stronger position in terms of getting the money that he's asked for from the board. Yeah, and I think that was really key to Brendan Rogers coming back. And obviously last season, the football, a lot of the times wasn't great. There was a step to take. And then when Rangers, I think, would be blued towards the end of the season, where the 3-3 draw, the draw at Dundee, the loss at Ross County, it turned it in Celtic's favour, and they got over the line. But this season, the way they've started, the football that they're playing, the signings that they've made, the options that they have, that's why everyone is so excited about seeing Celtic play. Kevin's on the line of Celtic fan. Hi, Kevin. Good evening. How are you doing, Andy? Hi, Kevin. Good. I'm sorry, I'm just going. Erm, Barry Ferguson. Barry, how are you doing, Barry? I'm good, Kevin. No, I'm fine, mate. Listen, life's brilliant. He's good. Life's great. Can you play the one I'm waiting for yesterday? You were playing in the sunshine and one of the great couches. Yeah, Andy was jealous. And Wednesday, down in Tunbury, and his sunshine playing lovely. Of course, was an unbelievable condition. So, eh, listen, my life's good. Elsa Craig there. Yeah, in the distance. How would you go round down? 90? What did you go round down? 85. 82. 82? Yes. Very good. Which course were you on? You know what? Of course. They also. Yes, that's a one. Fantastic. Isn't it, Kevin? Do you play? No, you don't want to see me in a golf course, but I'd be listening to these. Snap. So, what's in your mind, Kevin? What a night it was the other evening. Uh, it was epic on, uh, on, on Wednesday, it was fun, but in the Tuesday, it had to, it was going to really fall out there. The boys, you know, had to turn up and, and put on a performance. Um, and that's exactly what they, really did. The, really, professional, uh, surprised at the five, one, because listen, I've heard varying opinions, or it's almost more vampiras, lava, and they're going to be about to stink, but listen, how many teams they have similar elk, have Celtic slipped up and against in the past. So, it takes you to bring me guys, the Celtic partner beat them five, one, the champions of the country. They, they've done it a hard way. They're the only team in a competition that's came there for the first round of qualifiers. They deserved respect. So, for us, they put in that performance and ripped them the way they did. And we really spares because it could have been similar. It could have been a pioneer school, because they're getting high in this area. It's really, really good. I think it was the way they, uh, it was the way they handled their press. It was the way Celtic handled their press early on, um, Kevin, you know, when the, everyone was under pressure taking one, maximum two touches, everyone making an angle for the man in possession, when it was played back to, uh, Schmico, with Calla McGregor, and then he got it back in the middle. Um, and a few things later, I might have had a real chance at the other end. And I think when you play like that, it makes the other team think, hang on a minute, we're up against a really good side here. We might, we might just not press as, uh, you know, as much as we've done there because we've, we've, we've lost out a lot of players just with one pass out of the game. I think, uh, I think you're going to spot on, uh, the first point stored during the game, I'm the, um, I'm sure, buddy, like me and Jupon, but although the win in five one, and I'm no, I'm no one of the Celtic fans that come on a nitpick. I think you guys know that, but see the chances that guys are en masse, the chance to sort of fear the harsh, you missed the one now, I know they keep on making a decent save. See again, see if the chances come again, your teams went by a minute, lives in Atlanta. You're going to get punished because you're not going to get eight, nine, ten chances at a game. You're going to have to talk to them away. So that's not, that's not a wee bit of frustration that we passed up to our three chances before we got the first and you can't do that at this level. I think the basis, the basis Kevin or Celtic, uh, you know, qualifying or not, I think will be the home form. I don't know if you're traveling any of the away games, but the Dortmund away, at Atlanta away, the next two games. My goodness, they're really tough Celtic to get anything out of that. I think they would be doing well. That's why the, you know, it was great to get a home game to start with and then all three points. That's why he's in the carries on his way already to Dortmund. And then off to back him up. My son's going to any game. He's really important. Great. Barry, I'm in a loop to the pub, never been German. Barry is a good point though. They can't be wasteful against the top top teams. No, could you only get one or two chances, Paul? But then the flip side, there are, I know they missed a couple of chances in the first half, but then they put their cell in the position again. So they're no scared to go and take another opportunity, but certainly when you come up against better class or position, Paul, as I said, you might only get one or two chances. And again, when you certainly have to stick at least one in my way, you have a chance. How many changes would you make for this weekend, Kevin? I would bring you changes, mate, Andy. If you're honest, I think I would, I would bring in, I would give him, bring in, sir, a solo, if you hadn't 90 minutes, I'd definitely bring in the Barcelona left back because, well, you need to give time, I don't buy, so one of the two parts, if you don't keep on playing on my hand, I'd bring in him, I'd bring in Palmer, I'd bring in Ida, I'd bring in Bernardo. It may be a good opportunity to tell him a career get on this because it doesn't get much rest, so it'd be a good chance for him to get some get a wee bit honest. So I was bringing you changes, Andy, but you still want to win the game? Of course. I think Celty can afford to make four or five, even six changes. I like the look of the options. I think you want to see Trustee and I think we're every Celtic supporter, I've swung to Sue and Press with Paulo Bernardo in the game against Rangers. Kevin makes a good point about the VIE, getting some game time. On loan as well, he makes a great point, his boss, I don't want him sitting. Exactly. And then you've got wide players like Forest and Palmer who could get some game time. Ida, I think, could start, and then everyone is keen to see Luke Macone play from the start. He was so impressed with it. Managers spoke today about the quality on the bench. I think it is. I think there's a big cost to how we play. There's a cost in energy, and when that starts to drop a little bit, that ability to be able to make changes to bring in, to sustain that is very, very important. And I think we've seen that right to the very end. That was probably something that last season, maybe at times, we were having periods, but it was maybe too inconsistent. But through to the end of the season, and then the preseason, we were able to really grab a hold of everything in terms of that element of fitness and tenacity. And I know she'd been able to roll that out. So the subs are so important for us, like five subs now. And for us, it gives us every chance to keep that energy and that intensity. And I think we've seen that through over the course of this early part of the season in every game. And Barry, how important, with so many tournaments to play in, you need this kind of squad with quality? Yeah, strength and depth is important, Paul. But and amongst that, as when you've got guys in their sidelines, and you look at the Celtic bench, as I mentioned, in Wednesday night, it has strong, there's a number of players there that could easily play in the start in the living. And I think you've all seen, maybe a totally different Celtic team against Falken Sunday. Who was your man in the match before we go, Kevin, the other night? It's a hard one, isn't it? That's not a fair question, he asked. Well, I'll ask you another one. Barry, listen to this, Barry said earlier, angles could prove to be even better than Matt O'Reilly. So there's praise from a great midfielder in Barry. Because Barry is one of the best in the midfielders that has gone and ever produced, so if you've got to listen to anybody, you're listening to him. I think the way he angles protects the ball, I don't know if he was noticed, I don't know if you noticed it, Barry, but see, see that that spin on the ball, where you've run him with the ball, and then he's just putting the defender in the wrong way, then a 3-6 there, and it's just the way he protects the ball. So, he's so, so strong. He won't be free-kicks during the game as well, usually his body is really real. I think my man in the match, thank you very much, I would probably share it to scales, and I know that we didn't have a lot today at the back, but he was just absolutely, absolutely closest. But one question, just a throw in the box just for before I go, where you can discuss it when I'm away, but I hadn't had a good game during the week, but now there's been a fire, who would you start, but now there's a guy on the regular, who's playing there? I'll tell you what, yeah, okay, good question, thank you Kevin for that, you were about to come to you, but I think you're going to the game at Motherwell here, we'll speak to you straight after the news, and we'll also hear from Andy, and Barry on that question. - Thanks Kevin. - This is the Go Radio Football Show, listen live, weeknights from five, on go. - This is the Go Radio Football Show, listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcasts, call, oh wait, wait, it's 17, 17, 700. - Let's go! - Oh two, Paul, Barry, and Andy Walker, looking back to the other night, and looking forward to this weekend, cup weekend, on the line, huge, so sorry to keep you waiting, big Motherwell fan, huge on from the Lanna Kerry, a huge evening. - Hello, Harry, Paul, Barry, Andy. - Do you know what, living the dream, I think, in here with these two, yeah, are you? - Oh, Barry's easy, he was running the dream, because he was playing the golf, that's what. Just so I want to talk, a couple of points, a bit tonight, just in regards to, one affair does no VE-A tonight, which I've been baffled to, that's only sell to Commander Discord, which I think that's all, but I'm fair, obviously, the other takes us in the competition, and just how he's saying, well, I know that I wasn't either on there, just regards the model, then, I think we did probably a couple of changes tonight, just refreshing up the team. - Okay. - What would you do? - Just show this to you. - Well, Jack Ville has to start, it's like a shadow, I don't have to start, I don't know what he what can't play anyway, but Jack Ville has to start to understand the needs to come out, I think, I think it is, he's not found to see how he's yet. I know you're talking Andy Holiday, Andy Holiday's best game for us, as Andy says, was against hearts, but the rest of the things, it just slows the player down a lot, which, there's sometimes you need a better pace, and you need to play the lane and miller in his position, never made playing a right match, I just don't understand that, just play the game in his natural position, and you'll get the best out. - Yeah, I've seen that you at the weekend up at Aberdeen, that lane and miller was playing in a strange position. I mean, it's good that he can obviously go out there and still perform at a decent level, but I'm like you, I think I play to that quality, and even at his age, just on the 18th, he's got to be playing in a central role for me, that's when he brings the most to the team, lane and miller. - And do you think managers are beginning to give younger players a chance now? We keep saying, look at your mile, if they're good enough, play them and he's played well. - Yeah, I've been saying about, I seen him about a year and a half ago, coming on at iRock's Against Model, and I think it was 20 minutes to go on this young boy, I think it was only 16 at the time, and he was demanding the ball, and right away it just stood out for me, going and taking it in places where there was maybe two or three players right beside him, and I've just kept my closely on him, and he's, for me, he's just matured. - The other one I like about a good player is, you and Wilson, left back, left wing back, and you just, we say all the time, you love to see young guys getting an opportunity to play so often, the format seems to be, if you're looking for certainly a striker, you go to the lower leagues in England and get someone, I know that they've got 21 on loan, but you can't play on tonight, but he's another one to you, who, mother will fans, I think, will have high hopes for you and Wilson. - All right, definitely, I'll end up with a thing, but from a good motion, he's got really lucky, because he has worked for it. So, the putting down is, he's genuinely gone loan, and I think, I was told that I was, I was finished with the club, he was moving on, then he came in this night, he sees and took his chance, absolutely fantastic, it does bomb up during the win, he's first couple of games obviously, must have been nervous, because you can then get it, you start, and you get nervous, I just thought he was, you've got to have to answer them, but again, he's gone, interesting, in regards to letting Miller Barrie as well, you know this as well, Bailey Rice is another one, who is at Mueller's now at iBrux, what a player that boy is, and I don't see him get his opportunity at iBrux, I would want to support him, straight at him, he's another land in Miller. - No, sure, you're right, I've seen Bailey Rice a couple of years ago, again, playing, and obviously, Ranger signed him from Mueller, it's 16, and I actually spoke to him, just towards the end of the season, I've seen him just before the cut final, I just did that, a quick chat with him, just wondering how he's getting on, and how he's progressing, and how he's feeling, and he was just eager just to get a good preseason under his belt, and again, he's not been really involved much, but he's a player, again, I had so much high hopes for, but I don't know what's going on in terms of why the reasons, he's maybe not getting an opportunity, but he certainly, he's certainly a player, I think, has a capability to obviously force his way into, certainly, the 18th Rangers. - I was going to ask you a bit, your goalkeeper, Hugh, Oxpra, I know, Liam Kelly's away, and he was there for a while. What did you think of Kelly, and what do you think of the new lad, Oxpra? - Do you want more honest up on your hand here, because I've been on here quite a bit. - Always, you've always got to be honest. I spent a billion daily. It cost us a lot of goals, because even if it's lying, I don't know what is it, it's distribution was shocking, absolutely shocking, and I was kind for over a year to go Oxpra, even give him some game time. Now, Oxpra only signed another year for us beginning the season there. I think it was obviously guaranteed that you'll start and things like that, but a big kind for him. I mean, look at sizing, he's intimidating, it must be intimidating. I'm not putting down Liam Kelly, Liam Kelly's, I think he had one great season for us at start, and then it did go down a bit. I think he was made to get a move to the Rangers there, little owner, made to move out the mall, and where he said that it's formed definitely that, and it did cost us a few goals, especially last season, and I just think if he's cured care, we'll be stubborn and not want to change him because he was a captain, but it was good to see Oxpra there. I think you'll be big for us this season definitely, it was off his line. You mentioned here about Jack Vale may be playing the night, but the one I like to come on against hearts and meet a real impact and got a goal was Tom Sparrow. He's on loan, isn't he? I was seeing him as a stoke or something. I did actually want Sparrow to get more game time as well, but I don't know where he's been either not feeling the fact of carrying a look. I mean, usually myself, I think he's still with nine injured players who are forcing first team stars, so that's what we're looking at. Once they're all back, it'll be a headache selection for care. Well, I want to see him getting more game time, especially in the middle of the park, he's another one they spittle, he puts into what rate, he's what rate is really, really good. What's the ambition then for Mother Wohoo? Where can they finish this season? Obviously they've got a chance tonight getting to semi-final, but in terms of the league campaign, a big struggle for a large part of last season. What about this time round? Well, obviously you've got it. Everybody's ambition is for a team model stature, it's dependent to up sex. Now, we always see every single year and you play through Mother Wohoo, I remember you and you playing your role, I think it's still one of the older steps that you used to be up. I didn't know you did a memory act, but well done. I think it was black right now. I want to see you sign the talk sex definitely, but the main thing is you have to stay away from the allegation to play off, then work your way to it. But the way we've started, and I think we can definitely do show, and when these players come back, I think when we are heading to some teams, space lit at third park, and I hope it starts tonight again tonight. So, here you're going to Hamden, then. He's one in tonight. I think if we don't have a slow start, like we've done against Aberdeen, we start back, we even too much respect, I think, then we came on in the game. So, if we have a quick start, a pending DNA to back, I think more likely, I'll have to see one first day. Jack Vale, you've gotten from Blackburn, so a good pedigree. What's it been like? I know you've not seen too much of them. Not that season, he's not obviously, I think he's come back, baby. It was a beautiful backbone before he came up. He was playing, I think he had to kind of work up. It was only with some fiances. I would have liked George again back as well, but unfortunately he's really advanced. But yeah, I want to see Vale, Vale's energy self. I'd like to see maybe even, I know he wouldn't do it, but play too up front tonight where Vale and Robins are, I'd like to see that tonight, too up front, just for a different, for other teams, different opponents. Well, I hope you're right here. I hope we can get the home victory and see them in the semifine. What's your score line? I'm going to go for a two-nil model. Two-nil, Barry, you said all three of them. Yeah, I'll find some other one when you do it tonight and get to the semifine. Well, I think it'll be a close game, but I think model will just be our goal. I'll go model two-one. Hugh, your score line? I just need one. Yeah, definitely. Should be a good night, Crofti, from Crofti and Gradle. A breakfast is doing the standing in a celebrity announcer tonight, so let's hope. A fair park? Yeah, a fair park. Gradle, it was? No. Crofti. Gradle will be wrestling or whatever. Hugh, Crofti's team. Thanks, exactly. He's a steelman. Thank you very much, Hugh. Thank you. Yeah, good luck tonight. Oh, wait, oh, wait, 17, 17, 700. I remember you very well at Mother Will Andy. Oh, absolutely. It was a great time. It was, yeah. It was a long year there. Three years we come in. When I signed for the moment, we were in the '84, '87. We were in the championship, got promotion, and then plane again sealed. Wait, where did he's training? When you were at Mother Will. I've been just down the road at Man's Road. Would you leave us just a bit of grass there? And we didn't have any great training facilities. We used to train over the back of the stadium. That's a nice little tough now, huh? Well, I used to just be a blaze. I mean, we trained on that at some time. I should remember the old red ash. Red ash? I remember rangers training under Walter Smith at Carcordi Road in the south side, and then sometimes it was at Hamilton, near the cricket ground out at West End in Glasgow. The facilities now in there are just, they're neat, even for relatively small clubs. Mother Will, the facilities are tremendous. It's pretty trained. Where's the Scotland cricket ground? Did you train there? Yeah, as well. It's not that long ago. It's unbelievable now, isn't it? What's it like at Okenhui, the facilities inside? Yeah, the facilities are top class. Paul, the surfaces at the guy's train are unbelievable. I was in actually playing in a five-a-side tournament two or three weeks ago. And even at the youth end, I've got a stand now with the women play some of their games, and obviously the B team play. Any decent teammates were you playing with? No, it was corporate guys. How did you play? Yeah, but yeah, I was sort of just getting a bit frustrated. A few makes. Oh, a guy actually showed you that. Got your makements. Oh, did he? Oh, before even the end. Nice! No, no chance. Yeah. That's seriously, isn't it? He tried to. He shouted megs. And? Yeah, and then obviously tried to make me. But it didn't work. Oh, thank God, it didn't work. That was now his German place. Oh, he's never legal. In a game by George Best. Oh, seriously. Well, you've told him George Best. I know. And me. We did. We played the Liberty. It was East Enders or something. George Best was there playing. Jimmy Johnson. Willy Henderson. It was phenomenal. Amazing players. And George Best was there. I think he was late 30s. So he's still. Amazing players. Yeah, Andrew. Exactly. Came back and played it hips as well. Do you remember that when he came into Scottish football? I win it. George Best. Yeah, it was the day I used to go with my brother. And he took me East Ender Road. And it was 2-2. George Best scored. And Martin McLeod, I think, scored. Yeah. Yeah. For Celtic, it was a great game. Barry, some of the players. Have you enjoyed a few people on asking on the socials at Go For The Ball show? What do you make of the new format in the Champions League? I like it. So I think it was time for a change. And listen, it gives other teams an opportunity to get further and in the competition, in my opinion. It's also just looking at the top who's going to be the best. You know, the top eight are fine just in terms of getting through. But that sort of middle ground where you're trying to get into that top eight, the bottom from 24 to 32, you know, just every game you're looking at. Because this points up for grabs and you can, you know, you just want, I think Celtic's home form will determine whether they can get involved in the last stages or not. We think so. You look at the home games they've got. They have got it, they're looking at the maximum points. For Rangers as well, Barry, because next week we'll build up to that one, Malmo away, and then we know the fixtures. All this is, it's that at the show. Malmo are a good team. They're not a top team. And listen, the draw for Rangers is difficult. There's no doubt about it. But this is one of the games you would be doing, Matt, and think to yourself. Right, there's three points. But it's a way for home in Europe. It's always difficult. But it's a real opportunity for Rangers to go off to a good start. Home games, Tottenham, Leon, Union, Samuel Wa, and Stowe Bucharest, a way to man United, Olympiacos, Malmo, and Nice. I mean, it could be Champions League for Celtic. Dortmund, as we know, 10th of October, Atalanta in Bergamo. They're at home to Leipzig, then at home to Bruges, who lost what three-nil the other night. Then Dinamo Zagreb, who've sacked the manager since the other night. Lost nine. They lost nine, and yet they were three-two. One point, as you know, the other evening. Celtic at home then to young boys, and then Aston Villa. Again, Celtic. That's going to be some game. Great one if you finish. Join me again, Dad. Stay in with him again. Doesn't it, to try and get tickets, Andy? Do you fancy that one? I mean, I'm Apple. Oh, stadium. I mean, I don't think I actually do as well. Villa Park's one of the... Fantastic. That's one of the historical English grounds. Beautiful. It's kind of iconic. It is. I love playing at Villa Park. I'm selling at the Dadbudmium Villa. But I wouldn't stay there to play on it. So are the McCoy scoring for Scotland. Remember that one? Yeah, it was indeed. Remember the way he celebrated? And we lost it by what one goal was, isn't it? Because it was the Holland... Chemical scoring, isn't it? Yeah, for sure. And that's when Gaza scored the great goal. Would not be great for us. For Colin Henry's. What a strike, wasn't it? He could play. Absolutely. It was a phenomenal game. Never forget it. They're at the old Wembley Stadium. So, there's a trophy up for grabs. The first one of the season, last year, started badly. For Celtic, they lost it. Come on, by the end of August, they were out of it. A different story this season. Rangers went on to win it. And Philip Clamong has been remembering. He said it seems like a while ago. For myself, that I always enjoy seeing people happy. My players, my staff, the fans. And we had a great night. That moment, because it was really a long time ago, that the club won this trophy also. So it was a really big thing. And it gives only hunger for more. So, yeah, I'm always hungry. And I will stay always hungry. I had to lock to win a lot of trophies. In that way, as a player and as a manager, but the hunger never stops. And that I want to see from the players also. People who come here and you see it also, if you come in this room, it's about winning trophies. So that's what they know also. And that's also why a lot of players want to come here. It's not only because of the money, for sure not. Maybe in these days, less than it was in the past. So, yeah, it's about that. And you want that as a player. That's what you're dreaming of. And at the end of a career, when you stop playing football, those are also the good memories. Those are also the things that you remember. The moments you won things, you won trophies, you won big games. Those are the things you'll always stay in your mind forever. And also these relationships with the people you win something with. Bari, to win any trophy and to win one of the big three is so vital. Yeah, I was at the game 17 December, I think it was against Aberdeen, James Davenier, scored the goal. It wasn't a great game, but listen, it's all about winning, Paul. And as I said, it's good to go and celebrate with your teammates, with their supporters, with your family, and Rangers need to remember that they are holders tomorrow against Dundee, which again, I know a lot of people say it's always difficult. But Rangers are at home, first home game of the season. They need to make sure they get past Dundee. And Andy, it wasn't a while ago. He didn't say it seems a long time ago. I think he was saying it's a long time since Rangers had won that trophy, because Celtic had won it for a number of years. It just shows you, Banny Robson took Aberdeen to a Cup final, December the 17th. And he was out of a job by the end of January, wasn't he? It's a pretty cruel game. Management is brutal. I mean, can you imagine what we'll be talking about on Monday, if Dundee won? I mean, the Rangers fans will be going berserk. I don't think they will win. I think Rangers will beat them. I think Rangers will be in the semi-final. You know, when you're one step away, semi-final. And I don't think Rangers will win. Celtic, I'm assuming Celtic will get through as well. They won't want them in the semi. No. O8, O8, 17, 17, 700, 3D evening. Of course, a couple of games in the premiership tomorrow as well. Ross County against St. Johnson and St. Marin against Hart's massive game for St. Marin and also Hart's body who've had the bottom of the table one point. Yeah, and I'll be honest with you at the start of the season. I mean, I watched the first game in the season, obviously, getting a point against Rangers. I thought Hart's were a stick-on for the position, Paul, but they're for the real difficult time. And they need to really get back to winning ways of the pressure all mount on Stephen Nesmith. I think the loss of goals, regular goals from Shankland is killing them. Just in general, the amount of goals that they're giving away at, when I saw them at third park against Motherwell, that was just a hard-working Motherwell team and showed a bit of desire, a bit of hunger. Maybe more than Hart's did on the day and certainly deserved their victory, but I think we're all surprised. One point from a potential 15, no one expected that from the Hertz. And that's not an easy place to go to, you know. St. Marin, Stephen Roberts and Adam Robinson's got them really well set up. They've got some good players, St. Marin. That'll be a tough one for Hartz. And he'll be bristling. That'll work bristling after losing points last weekend when they felt they should have got all three points. And to you, we talked about it during the week. It was a crazy game with Kelly. But St. Marin, I saw them a couple of times in early part of the season. They're European game against Valuer, saw them beat Hibbs quite comfortably. And just like the look of them, there's a good physicality about them. They've got a bit of pace in their team. And I was going to highlight Sean Rooney in our positive sense, because I think he started the season really well. But I think what he did last week was just a bit daft and should probably have been sent off. But he'll add something to him. He plays that wing back role really well. He gets in at the back post, really well. He's a good threat going forward as well as being a decent defender. When you watch St. Marin, you can tell they're well coached. He's a good manager. He knows the game. And that's the big thing that jumps out of me when I watch something. They had a real physical outfit, quite a big strong team. And listen, if I'm hearts going there, I think hearts need to get the three points for the pressure. As I mentioned, really, really mounts on the manager. Jack's asking if the new panel, the key match incident review panel, will look at things like the Sean Rooney. They can't change it, but can they explain the future? Because everyone all week has said, I don't understand it. Well, they don't give out any punishments. That's up to the SFA. But it looked to me as though it was a key match incident. So they would obviously look at it. And then they'll explain it to take it in the future. That's what they would do. Because otherwise-- How do they explain that one part? I know. Well, maybe there is something hard to see, though. Kelver Cell felt the force twice. Yeah. I don't know. That'll be-- So they'll report on it later. They put it online. That's what they're saying. So they're not going to come out in front of it. But it's going to be online, Barry, apparently. Yeah, well, it's good. Yeah, I like it. Barry's going for email addresses. So you better give them that one. Yeah. But no, it's quite-- At least it's a positive step in the right direction. Oh, as I said, well, they call them. They'll be fair. I've been impressed by them coming out, speaking. I like it. Been open, honest. That's what you're looking for. And this key match incident review panel, I think can only be a good thing for the game. You'll also get incidents that-- The three of us could look at and it might be three now. We all agree. Or it might be two, one. You know, that's just not a right or wrong decision. And I think that's sometimes where you just want a strong, firm, fair referee on the field of play. And, you know, if he makes a decision, that's a controversial one. Sometimes there's no need for Barry to get involved, because it's one of those that could go one way or the other. This is the Go Radio Football Show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. Let's go. Good. Paul Coneyandy Walker and Barry Ferguson. Lots of calls. If you're a mother of all fans on as well, feeling confident, but not overly confident against Dundee United. Tony Watts, he'll get the visiting fans. He'll be giving him a bit of stick because of this. I know he's not going to be playing, but he'll be there. No, I know. He'll be there. He'll still get a stick. He'll get a stick when he went the other way around. I think he's been accepted back because, you know, the way he left might be one of all fans, not too happy about it. But the law was to accept him back when he scores goals. I think he played his best football at model Tony Watts. He's happiest there, wasn't he? Yeah, sometimes you get players that move about, and they just find somewhere that just suits him. And I thought he was, yeah, I thought he was really good for model, but obviously he's moved on, but he's found his way back. And he needs to put the ball in the back of the net. And if he does that, you'll get the model fans right behind him. He gave Celtic fans one of the great European Knights, of course, with one of the great goals against Barca. That was a surprise last night, wasn't it? Barca losing at Monaco. You're an Italian man? Yeah, barely on. Again, when you look at the quality of aluminium oil, getting his goal, what a talent. Just lovely to see him play anything. But he's going to be one of the world's great players, couldn't he? If he's not already, you have potential to be watching him in the euros. So exciting. It's such a young age as well. If he continues the progress that he's made over the last year, he's going to be unbelievable. I'm letting Madrid beating RB Leipzig at 2-1. That could be good news for Celtic. Well, Leipzig up against Celtic. And is it Pep Blinders, the assistant to Klopp at Liverpool, who's gone there and everyone raves about his coaching, ability, his coaching techniques. So he sets up teams. So again, that's another one that Celtic will do. Well, what do you get points out of? Bernard, what did a tough night? 4-0 liver cousin. And that was in Rotterdam. It was 4-0 half-time. Yeah, it was because we were on here, weren't we? And then, Stume Gratz beating 2-1 at breast. 2-1, we mentioned Monaco against Barca. Actually, he just grew up for breast. Oh, well, sport it. You miss Nada. So, sorry, he did. The winner, 56 minutes. We liked Seema, didn't we? I did like him. I did, Paul. He's got one thing that defenders absolute hate. And we were speaking about the Celtic front three. He's got pace. And obviously, I suffered that. I think it was a hamstring injury that Kinda he suffered for a couple of month at Rangers, but set him back a little. But, yeah, I liked him, he grew and he become a really important player for Rangers. And just disappointed that he couldn't try and get a deal done to bring him back. Because, as I said, he would have certainly strengthened the Rangers team. And Ben Ficke winning 2-1 at Red Star. It's quite a week of football. Wasn't that handy? Every single night, Champions League. It's a bit special. Did you enjoy the programme? The Champions League programme on TNT. Yeah, loved it all. Just loved it, tuned in for the action and it was great. And when you're seeing the cream of Europe, it's great to watch. And you try to be across as many games as you can. I mean, I would sit there on that and watch it. Is it quite a gear change? I can imagine it must be going from Champions League to League Cup with Focke. Well, there you go. There's an eye you're talking about of that extraordinary atmosphere. You know, the eyes of Europe on Celtic Park and giving it big licks. And now you come back to the, just a home game in the first cup competition of the season. You know, the amount of changes that Celtic could make. They couldn't bring the goalkeeper in as our caller was saying earlier. And then you've got Tristy, Bernardo, Vi, Forest, Ida, Macauen, Palma, Ralston. I'll tell you, we could have another team. Give us your team. Not immediately, but you get with your team. Barry, will you do the Rangers team for tomorrow? Have a look at it. Brendan Rogers playing, paying tribute to the Invincibles, Focke. When you get through that, I tell you everything about the mentality. Obviously, I've been on an incredible run and going through and not losing a game in the league and then bringing that up into the championship, doing so well, of course. It tells you that they've got really good, good characters in there and guys that don't trust and even only recently, they've got a few results that look like it was going to be a draw or whatever and then they end up winning. So, that tells you everything about the mentality in this game. I know that's a young Calvin Miller who's there. Calvin was a brilliant young player for me here. Didn't quite kick down. He was keen to get out and play, but I really liked his game. He was quick. He was direct. He was left-sided. He was playing more off the right now and cutting inside. But when he was here, I really liked these qualities. They got players that have, on either side, are dangerous players up front. So, all in the mix, that gives them confidence. Clearly winning games and that and the league title and then taking that through this season. Clearly, it gives you confidence. Full respect for them and Barry, young Calvin Miller will be pleased to hear his old manager paying tribute to him because so many players are at Celtic or Rangers and then, you know, good down the legs. Yeah, but then they go and they make a career out at Paul, which is important because I see so many players leave Rangers in Celtic and drift out the game. So, it's always good to see young players that do make a break through the first team, but they don't make it as a regular. Go on, they have pretty good careers. So, I always like to see that 26 years old he is now is just checking. And he paid tribute to the manager. He was contented for manager of the year last time round, John McLennan. Yeah, you have a whole load of time for John. Now, we've exchanged messages and stuff and I'm really looking forward to seeing him because I haven't seen him since obviously I left here the first time. But we've always been in contact and spoke a lot on the phone on various things. But I'm really proud of him and what he's done in his career since he's got that opportunity again. What he did at Raith, what he's now doing at Fall Curvitz, he's done absolutely brilliant. So, I'm really looking forward to seeing him. He's a really good guy. He was, secondly, not listen, but when I come into here we brought in a structure and a way of working and a mentality that he was a part of, he's seen it firsthand, he was in it. And he knows how I work and the levels that I go to. So, but no, John always went the extra mile for me. He knew there was a big demand for the job he had here and what he wanted and he was a real team player. So, but no, I'm more comfortable talking about him and his achievements. He's done fantastic and I'm just delighted for him and, yeah, and he'll have a great season, but not at the weekend. And he praised indeed for the manager. He said it wouldn't have draw came out about John McGlynn who'd worked with Brendan Rogers last time round. Yeah, clearly got a really good relationship. All the good stuff he's done at Fall Curv. I remember him from his time at Harz and I think he's got a really good reputation and the game, he's well-liked, he's well-respected. You'll want to put a team together. They'll play their strongest side. This is going to be a big test even allowing for the amount of changes that Celtic might make and they'll try and take advantage of that. The bookies have made Anjapostakoglu favourite for the sack at Tottenham, which is pretty horrible fairly early, but we know the noise going on down there. Some of the Tottenham fans are not happy. They've forgotten about what he did for them and they've been installing Brendan Rogers as the favourite to replace him now. I don't want to go too far into that because that's not going to happen, isn't it? Brendan Rogers is not going to leave. He said, "I'm here for three years unless I get." What was it he said again? Basically, "Bind." I can't remember the phrase he had. Yeah, obviously it's difficult for Anjapostakoglu at the moment. And you know, you win games. I mean, it looked really dicey the other night when they were away at Coventry and they got two late goals. And the fact that he said I always win things in my second year, it's put a bit of pressure on himself. Why did he say that? It's really experienced. Well, it is a fact. But if you could always make progress, I mean, you could get into the Champions League finish in fourth. It's not a trophy, but it's more or less like a trophy because that is showing how consistent you can be over a season. Is it life under Daniel Levy is like no other job? I mean, big money and all the rest of it, but he's gone through managers like, you know, you go through. Yeah, but I'm more surprised by the comments, but none of the hand, it tells me that Postakoglu is confident in his own ability. And it shows a little bit of a night, obviously, as Anjapostak pointed out, they are coming back where that last minute goal to get through into the next round shows that the team are clearly still playing for him, Paul. Yeah. Big risk when you make so many changes as he did. I was surprised that he made so many changes. Because when you're talking about, you know, I'll win something that's obviously the best chance that he could be a fake up. Son hasn't been what he was before, and Harry Kane's been away for over a year, but would you play Son through in the middle? One of you said it a few minutes ago. Yeah, he can. And I think the fact that sports didn't really miss Harry Kane. It could have been a real problem for them last season, but he coped really well. I think, well, I was a wee bit surprised that Solanki came in at 60 odd million. Is he going to be a regular goalscorer? He's a good player. Is he going to take... Is he going to get 20 goals at sports? That'll be a big call. Different when you step up, Barry, isn't it, from a born with a wither to a top? Yeah, he's a very good player. There's no doubt about it, but 60 million pound. But it just shows you the money that's getting thrown about down there. I thought he was brilliant for born mouth. Just think, again, it's some little bit of speaking of what's been a model, and it should be the biggest thing. Bournemouth is a club, and the way they played should he dare Solanki. Yeah, he left Liverpool to get. Game time at Bournemouth did really well, and now he's on the move again. It remains to be seen how successful he'll be there at London, where the sport likes on you every week. Yeah, sure is. Let's hear from Philip Glamont ahead of the return to iBrox tomorrow. He said, "I'm not listening to the outside noise. We're getting on with things here." No, I know that football, that society also, and I know what's going on inside the building. I see everything every day. We're working hard with everybody also every day. To improve things, I believe a lot in the potential of this squad. I know it was incredibly challenging to get a squad like that together with the budget that we have, and seven players going out without one pound coming into the club. I think a lot of good things has happened. We could not do everything in one transfer. We know it was not possible. We didn't have the resources for that, so we need to build. But I'm also happy now that people start to see already the good things that have been done, and I've heard also for many people. You've seen also the reaction after when Hamza came in last weekend. Now I already really big comparisons with other players from the past, so we need to bring them in a good way. That's also my job to do. Not to go in the hype of things, but also not to go in the low of things, and to be objective, and to keep balance. That's my job to do, to be stable in that way. And I know my role is important in that way for sure. In a club where you make a rebuild, that's strong. Where you have to cut wages, that's that's that's that's hard. Where you have to replace so many players, where you need to bring in so many players. It's important to have an environment where you can work and not to be busy with all the noise. And in that way, I'm positive about what the team done until now. Because they could have been stuck in the noise, and they're not doing that. They're working hard to become better, and they know they still need to work hard to get to the level where we want to get with them. And, buddy, we know the story. The chairman has gone. We wish John Bennett all the best in the recovery. John Gilligan is in there, another good man who is the interim chairman. He's been on the board before. But for the players then, and they're not going to be thinking about things like that, it's about going out tomorrow and trying to stay in this tournament. Yeah, they will not be interested in what's going on above. You're interested in making sure you're getting a semi-final. That should be the player's only concern at this moment in time. In time, I'll tell with the new signings of the tournament, it'd be very good Rangers players. I've seen signs where the guys left it left back, who's come on to your game, young Connor Baran, who I think's really impressed with his attitude and his energy. Igammane, everybody's talking about. It's only been two brief cameos. You can't judge them on that at this moment in time, but there's certainly potential there. We'll just see over the coming months, Paul, but the most important thing for this range of team is the continuity win games, and it started last week at 1080. After the break, Barry is going to give us his team. So, too, is Andy. This is the Good Radio Football Show. Listen anytime, whatever you get, your podcast. Let's go! Let's deflect. Good Radio Football Show has darkness descends on the great city here, but it's going to be, well, that mother of the likes will be on already. In fact, we should have the team news. Are you seeing the way past the motorway? Yeah, can you set up a motorway? Yeah, past the motorway. Yep, that's right. You can just do a new Douglas Park, in fact, we're going to talk about the championship in just a moment or two. But, Barry, just before the break, we were talking Rangers. What's your team for the match tomorrow? I'm going to go where Jack Butler then goes. Tavernier, about four sorry of Tavernier, shut her proper in the f day. I made a few three of Baron and Dale Mandate sitting with loans just in front of him and a front three of turning the right quarters and the left and desk us through the middle. I would love to see Bezrami start, Paul, because, obviously, they spent a lot of money. It's been a bit hype about him, but I just can't see him. The manager started them up. I may be wrong. And, obviously, you can manage up top, I would have liked to have seen, but I think he'll go with Deissas. But you'll see the two players that I've just mentioned come off the bench. So, Butler, Tavernier, shut her proper in the f day. I know you liked him last weekend. Baron and Dale Mandate. Tom Lawrence just ahead, a journey in Cortez and Deezers up front. Yeah, as I said, I would like to see Bezrami play. Listen, I'm doing his presser last week, Paul. When you played it and they spoke about his favourite position. And it's certainly the number 10 position. He also says he could play in the left. But I don't think he looked comfortable in the left, Paul. When you come on, it turned a dice. So, I would like to see him play number 10 position at some stage in the game tomorrow, and, obviously, Igammani play his part, because, as I said, they come on and showed certainly plenty of potential. Andy, what's your Celtic lineup for the game on Sunday with Falkirk? I think they'll make a lot of changes. I think if you keep Schmeichel in goal, you could have Ralston, Liam Scales, Trusty and Vi, as you are back for. Giving a few a bit of a rest there. You could have Bernardo coming back in, Luke McCown, in angles, keeping this place just to get another game. And then you could change it up front. Three different forests than I do. Forest and, Paul, my wife with Adamida through the middle. Still a strong team, isn't it? Strong team is taking your rest, Carolyn McGregor. Because of the obviously retirement. I think it makes sense for my rest, Carolyn McGregor. So, and I think everybody wants to see Luke McCown play. So, we'll see what happens. Strong, isn't it? So, you've got... That's a lot of changes. Just, maybe, a bit eight. I was going to put in sin, the solo there, but... Well, that would be neat. No, Ralston, Scales, Trusty, and what? Five million, was he? Four million from Sheffield United and Vi, from Basa on her loan. Bernardo and McCown, and angles. Forest and Palmer and Ida. He took his goal well, didn't he? Forest and the time. Oh, what a pass from... That was a very fair guess and tight pass. Way too perfectly. You only need one touch. To finish your own thing, he's hit early as well. Oh, it's beautiful. Yeah, it's absolutely beautiful. It's a great, brilliant slide drill pass from James Forest. He does not, not hard to break his stride. That's how good the pass it was. I did think of this, Barry, thinking about the show tonight, for desert sometimes. If you could just take that touch the way. Yeah, sometimes he takes that extra... Human. One or two touches. He had an opportunity to hand it down his pole in the first half when I think he could have had his shot of first time. That's a criticism sometimes it goes against. There's one thing you can't criticise as the guy's worth, I think he puts so much hard work in just at times. I think he could be more clinical. Andy, would you agree? Yeah, I think so. But you need someone with an attitude, you need someone who's prepared to take a bit of criticism because he misses the odd chance or two, but keep him back for it. What he needs is a big goal. You know, a match winning goal. The chances that he had against the Celtic, you've got to take one of them. Come back. Changes everyone's opinion of you. Come back to it in a moment or two, and I must get your verdict for the big fight. There's Frank Warren there with the sun. Glasses on. In broad daylight. Right, here's the mother who'll line up for tonight. Oxford, as you mentioned, Andy, is in goals. It's Stephen Adonal. Dan Casey, Liam Gordon, and Paul McGinn, the captain. Ewan Wilson, the youngster you mentioned. Davor Dravovsky. Andy Halloway, Lenin Miller. Massowinchi. And I nearly said that one. Robinson. That wasn't my finest moment. I'm sure Crofti will do better on that one than I did there. Oh, you've done well. That's why it's Massowinchi. This is a couple of tricky ones in there. I think you've ate out of 10. Massowinchi. Thank you. You've been really kind. You can tell it's a Friday as a shocker. What do you reckon? I think you've both gone from Four Motherwell this evening. Big crowd did as well. We're getting some menus from trackside. So let's hope for a really good game there. We're flying through it. Andy, before you give us a Celtic team, I'll get your predictions in a moment or two. Can I mention the championship? Partic Thistle has been firmly your old team, the Jags. What are you thinking? Who's going to win? I'm going for Thistle. They've got to get back to winning ways. They've dropped a few points recently, which has been unlike them. You want to see them in and around the top of the table. A decent point, aerianated last week when they went. I go down, but hopefully all three years. I can throw Queen's Park against second top aerianated to you. Yeah, game of the day here. I'm going to go a draw, Paul. A draw. Yeah. Ray throwers, ackeys. Well, Ray throwers need to get back to winning ways. Yeah, I thought them family and all Ray throwers got a man saying off last week, but them family and thoroughly deserved the victory and the five, Darby. I'm going to go Ray throwers just to nick it. I'm going against my local team as well. Yeah. I like same Ray throwers I went down to the air game recently in the cup, and there were two now up against there. I know they lost three too, but I like the way they played 45 minutes. Obviously a new manager, Neil Collins will be looking for more of the same home against the ackeys. Yeah, I'll go for a Ray throwers win. And Martin against Adri. The tone. Yep. Uh, yeah, I'm going for a nil now. A little much of it, isn't it? Adri, I've struggled about this season, which is surprising. I watched them a couple of times last year. Reese McCabe done a brilliant job. I'm going to go, Martin. Barry, I'm staying with you. What about St. Marin against Hartz? So looking to the premiership. I think someone could win this game, Paul. Wow. And that will be tough then for... It will be, but I just like the way that man go about their business. As I mentioned earlier on, we'll coach some really good players at struggling at this moment in time. I'm going to go, St. Man. Which thing has happened with Lauren Shanklin? Because, you know, everyone here plays. I think it's Barry Asi. Andy, he obviously played in that position. And I played with a lot of strikers. It did go through that bad in spell. It happens. I just think he's going through one of the stages. And all it takes is just something to hit off his knee. And he's backside to go in. And then he'll kick start again and score. And I'll battle all the goals. There's no doubt about it. I remember a one-door goal. He scored against St. Marin in this ground last season. Almost reversing the top corner. I don't know if he's lost his focus. There was so much speculation about him going here, there, and everywhere. He's ended up staying. He's in the last year of his contract. And hearts are so different. If he's not firing on all cylinders, and he's not even getting on the end of a lot of chances. It's not as though he's missing a lot. So in terms of their creativity, it's not really there. So I'm going to go, like Barry, for a home once in Marin. I can ask score lines Ross County, St. Johnson. Again, Ross County, after that, a surprising result last week against Dundee. I think they'll build on that one no for the county. Went for Don Cowie against St. Johnson without Craig Levine. Of course she's gone. Yeah, I'm going to go, Ross County. Obviously confident with a good victory last week against Dundee. St. Johnson, managerless. Yes, Ross County. Rangers in action tomorrow. Tom Lawrence, a win last week. He scored the goal and thought it should have been more. It was a long international break and we wanted to point out performance and get the three points. And I thought we played well. It should have been more. But yeah, it's big for everyone. When you win a game, the confidence flows throughout the team. And like you said, going back to iROCs, hopefully this is just a small step in a long run of games. His manager was asked, are you going to prioritise domestic over European football this season? You cannot put priorities here. You cannot throw away any competition. Because Europe stays also important for this club. It's the image of the club also. If we only invest in our domestic games and we just throw away the European games, it will not be good for Rangers, for the reputation outside. It will not be good for Scottish football also, for the reputation outside. If you throw away results and also for the value of players, it's also important that if they perform really well in Europe, their value increases also. So all the competitions are important. You cannot put differences in that. Barry, I know you agree with that. Every game is important when you're Rangers. Yeah. And this game tomorrow is so important. Cup holders, back at iROCs. Yeah, I'm going to go Rangers. I'm convincing 3-0-1. 3-0-1, Andy. I think Rangers will do it. I think Aberdeen have added up front with Simon Murray. I like him as a striker, but they've clearly lost a lot of influence. We'll loop my cone being out of the midfield area. So one of the reasons why I would expect Rangers to win by a couple of goals. Yeah, Dundee, a great start. But we know what happened last week. Little Cameron, you like there. Is Dessus going to get a goal? Yeah, I've had talked so. He knows that Mega Mani is breathing down his neck now. And look, if he might not start the poll, Mega Mani could start. But if Dessus starts the game, yeah, and goes, breeds calling for them, certainly for strikers. Aberdeen Spartans, I haven't asked you. I take it. Aberdeen. Aberdeen. The run continues, Andy. Aberdeen has been very impressive. They're start. I think they'll do it again. Celtic up against Volker, the invincible Celtic, the champions. What a week it's been for. Celtic. Nicholas Kuhn has played his part big time and he's been paying tribute to his manager. Yeah, a lot. Before I came in, I had some good talks with him. And it was all about getting in those positions to score and create chances. So that's what we're doing. And he had me a lot. I think there's a level to go to. I think there's a lot more in me. So I hope I will achieve what I'm looking for. Rangers at 5.30 tomorrow, Celtic 3 o'clock on Sunday. So it's not quite the Saturday game, Andy. But a lot to look forward to Celtic fans because who's going to play? Yeah, and I think they want to see these changes. It's not as though anyone is downbeat. You know, Celtic, I've just went out on a big high with the Champions League stuff. And there's a lot of players that they still want to see a bit more of. So I'd imagine they'll see that. Score line, what do you reckon? I'll go 3 now, Celtic. Barry? Yeah, even if they make 6, 7, 8 changes, I still think Celtic will be far too strong. Yep, I'm going 3, 4 now, Celtic. Thanks to both of you. You have a great weekend. Thanks for all of you too. Thank you so much on Monday. Thanks to everyone who joined us. Thanks James for looking after us all.
